On Tuesday's Mark Levin Show, communism is all about working people -- killing them, enslaving them, and brutalizing them. It's amazing how the Communists talk up "the working people." For communists, working people exist to serve the state and its centralized masterminds rather than as sovereign individuals. Only in free societies, especially America, are working people the heart and soul of society—the backbone of freedom. Communism is the most defective ideology ever imposed because it requires no knowledge or experience—only an iron fist and a destructive ideology that ignores human nature for an undefined “general good.” Meanwhile, Daniel Ortega, obviously a Communist, has announced no more elections in Nicaragua. If the Marxists-Islamists and, yes, the Democrat Party get their way, election results will be nothing but a foregone conclusion in their favor, a Potemkin exercise in phony democracy, as they destroy the electoral processes established in our Constitution and further alter our immigration and census systems, as well as usurp electoral procedures in the states. Also, this on-again, off-again conflict with Iran won't lead to victory. Success requires fully embracing available tools: first, arming, training, and supporting the Iranian people with air cover, satellite monitoring, and a determined CIA leadership; second, ignoring pressure from Arab countries while fully utilizing Israel's powerful air force, Mossad intelligence, and IDF.Later, the Democrats' new Senate candidate in Maine to replace Graham Platner Troy Jackson has his own issues yet faces little accountability. Separately, Michigan socialist Abdul El-Sayed is set for a campaign fundraiser co-hosted by Kelly Newman, who in 2024 honored her grandfather's military service for the Nazis. Finally, the media constantly demands evidence of non-citizens voting and claims none exists, yet Gov Mikie Sherrill announced thousands of non-citizens were found on the state's voting rolls due to a software glitch in the motor vehicle system. This exposes the larger issue that federal law requires states to purge voter rolls periodically, but blue states like New Jersey and California refuse, leaving dead people, movers, and illegal aliens on the rolls. Democrats and the media still insist elections are the cleanest in history while opposing voter ID and lying about existing requirements—proving they enable fraud rather than clean the system. There's a quote in psychology I keep coming back to: the core of optimism is resilience. I've thought about that quote for years, and this week, sitting across from Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano, I had a hunch that that very quote would resonate with him. So I did the only thing I do in these Y-Option podcasts: ask questions I don't know the answer to.I've known Coach Schiano for over 20 years. First as a wideout at Pitt, then these last couple years covering Big Ten football. This conversation, though, was different because I was embedded within the Scarlet Knights program for the day and what a day it was.I got to sit in on his team meeting, watch Coach Schiano look his players in the eyes and bridge a football lesson to a life lesson in the same breath. And at the end of an epic day with the team, staff and program he and I sat down, and Coach Schiano took me all the way back to where his leadership began: his kitchen table. And that is where today's Y-Option podcast, fueled by our founding sponsor 76, keeping you on the GO GO GO, begins.Coach Schiano grew up in an Italian household in Paterson, New Jersey, where his parents taught him and his three siblings one thing above all: you get up, you go to work, and some days it isn't pleasant but you keep showing up. It's the whole building now. “Family is everything to me in this building,” he said. And he means it literally, as he's now recruiting the sons of players he coached at Rutgers when they were in the Big East while currently coaching with his own three sons on this year's staff. Full circle doesn't begin to cover it.This is the line that stuck with me most: “You can have a goal and at the same time have a purpose.” Greg's goal is a national championship at Rutgers. His purpose is different.He is driven to make sure that the young men who walk into the Rutgers program leave as grown men. Husbands. Fathers. People who can figure it out when nobody's telling them what to do next. In this era of players getting paid, transferring and being told things from others that may not be accurate I have to say that watching Coach Schiano teach his players the realities of LIFE and how football can teach all of us how to navigate life was one of the most refreshing parts of my off-season.He didn't plan on coaching, by the way. He got cut playing in the CFL, came home, signed up for the LSAT, and was on his way to law school when his high school coach — practically a second father to him — talked him into helping out on the sideline instead. That coach later “fired” him, on purpose, so Greg would go be a graduate assistant and learn the business the right way. That GA year? 1989. At Rutgers. Where he told me, without blinking, that even back then, he was building his coaching staff for this program in his head.Chop.If you've followed this program at all, you know the word. Here's where it actually comes from: 1999, Miami, a sports psychologist named Dr. Kevin Elko telling the staff a story about a guy in the woods with nothing but an axe. It sat dormant for six years. Then in 2005, Rutgers blew a 28-7 fourth quarter lead at Illinois and lost in overtime. Greg couldn't sleep on the flight home. He remembered the story, upon landing he sent a GA to Home Depot for an axe, had it painted red, and walked it into the team meeting still wet with paint. We're all in the woods. We can lay down, or we pick a tree and chop until it falls. Rutgers went on a run and made a bowl game. The axe, and the word, never left.Finally, Rutgers has both hands free.For most of his 18 years split across two stints as head coach, Coach Schiano described competing “with one arm tied behind his back.” That's changing. He talked about vertical alignment: from president to athletic director to head coach, all pointed at the same goal, for the first time in his tenure. It's showing up in real terms: Rutgers retained all three of their must-keep players this offseason, including a receiver who very nearly left before Greg reminded him who he was and where he was from. “You're a difference maker. You're gonna leave a legacy,” he told him. He stayed. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Pakistani Christian 13-year-old girl still captive to Muslim man On July 7, the European Parliament condemned Pakistan for its violation of human rights, citing a 13-year-old Christian Pakistani girl who is still fighting for her freedom from the 30-year-old Muslim man who abducted her, reports International Christian Concern. Maria Shahbaz was kidnapped in July 2025 by Shehryar Ahmad, who forced her to convert to Islam and married her against her will. Alliance Defending Freedom came alongside her parents in their fight to regain custody of their child in Pakistan's Federal Constitutional Court in February. Pakistani law states that a minor cannot legally consent to religious conversion or marriage, but shockingly the court ruled in favor of Ahmad when he presented a forged marriage certificate.  In Matthew 18:6, Jesus said, “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in Me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.” Shahbaz's parents are not giving up. They are still appealing their daughter's case in court, hoping that justice will swiftly come.  According to Open Doors, Pakistan is the eighth worst country worldwide for the persecution of Christians. Send a polite, 3-sentence letter to Rizwan Sheikh, the Pakistan Ambassador to America, asking that he intervene.  The address is 3517 International Court NW, Washington, DC 20008. Two U.S. soldiers killed in Iranian attack on military base Two American soldiers were killed on July 17th in an Iranian attack on a U.S. military base in Jordan, reports the Western Journal. In a post on X, U.S. Central Command added, “Four American service members were medically evacuated to Jordanian hospitals. They have since been discharged.” Plus, one soldier is missing. Iran's attacks came after the U.S. launched its seventh consecutive night of air strikes on Iran. Iran makes chilling death threats against President Trump Iranian state media has published a shocking video entitled “Where to kill Trump?”, claiming to know the U.S. leader's motorcade route and the vulnerabilities within his security, reports The Express. The highly concerning footage claimed to reveal “information on the whereabouts of the terrorist president of America” while promising that “access to Trump is possible in these places.” It also alleges to give details about the motorcade that protects the U.S. president, which typically consists of 40 to 50 vehicles. It comes after repeated death threats have been made by Iran following the U.S. assassination of former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.  President Trump's primetime speech on election integrity Last Thursday night, President Donald Trump addressed election security in a nationwide primetime address from the White House, pointing to ways American political leftists and China have compromised our elections, reports The Epoch Times. TRUMP: “You can't have a great country without free and fair elections. All we want is honesty in our elections. Great damage has been done to our country. Our elections were left vulnerable to being rigged and stolen, and the trust of the American people was lost. This cannot be allowed to continue. “Every American -- whether you're a Republican, Democrat, Independent, or otherwise -- should be able to agree that we deserve the most secure, honest, and fair election system anywhere in the world.” President Trump explained that China started compromising our elections in 2020. TRUMP: “Over a period of years, starting during the 2020 election cycle, the People's Republic of China carried out what is believed to be the largest compromise of election data in history, resulting in China's illicit acquisition of 220 million U.S. voter files. That information includes names, addresses, phone numbers, political party preferences, and other sensitive data that would be needed to register to vote. “This data loss presents an unprecedented election security nightmare. The intelligence even shows that China assigned a data exploitation unit specifically to this new project.” And finally, President Trump vowed action to hold people accountable. TRUMP: “The documents we will release, starting tonight, have been gathered by the White House Government Transparency Task Force, a great group of people, supported by our top intelligence agency chiefs, who have all personally reviewed the findings we are presenting this evening and fully confirmed their authenticity. “You can see these documents for yourself at whitehouse.gov. That's whitehouse.gov. Go check it out. Our purpose in disclosing this information is not to weaken confidence in election, but to earn that confidence by confronting vulnerabilities and correcting them very, very quickly, and that's what we're doing.” Homeland Security Secretary vows to prosecute illegal voters In related news, during a Friday press briefing, Secretary of Homeland Security Markwayne Mullin promised to hunt down and prosecute illegal voters in the U.S., noting that 250,000 non-citizens are illegally registered to vote in just four states, reports The Christian Post. Speaking in the wake of President Donald Trump's 25-minute primetime address about election security on July 16th, Mullin outlined an aggressive plan to tighten voter roll integrity, harden election infrastructure, and hold election officials accountable for alleged failures. Senator Marsha Blackburn: No more birth tourism Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee has reintroduced legislation aimed at ending so-called “birth tourism” following the Supreme Court's recent 6-3 ruling in Trump v. Barbara. It held that children born in the United States to illegal aliens and foreign tourists remain entitled to birthright citizenship under the 14th Amendment, reports Big League Politics. She said, “Congress must step up to the plate to protect the integrity of American citizenship.” The Ban Birth Tourism Act is co-sponsored by GOP Senators Ted Budd of North Carolina, John Cornyn of Texas, Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming, Tim Sheehy of Montana, Jim Banks of Indiana, and Rick Scott of Florida. The legislation would amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to explicitly prohibit foreign nationals from obtaining temporary visas for the purpose of giving birth in the United States. It would also classify birth tourism as a deportable offense, allowing immigration authorities to remove foreign nationals who enter the country for that purpose. Samaritan's Purse deployed disaster relief unit for Texas flood victims On July 17th, churches in the Texas Hill Country opened their doors as flood displacement shelters, taking in families whose homes and recreational vehicles had been swept away by rapidly rising rivers that killed at least two people, reports The Christian Post. Recently more than 30 inches of rain fell over several days, causing the Leona River and Guadalupe River to overflow. Floodwaters surged through the streets, destroying homes, and stranding people and vehicles. The Christian relief group Samaritan's Purse said it was deploying a disaster relief unit to the Hill Country, with staff and volunteer teams set to work in Uvalde County. The group said it was basing operations out of Uvalde Methodist Church, with volunteers beginning on Sunday to help residents remove waterlogged belongings and clear mud from their homes. Road Atlanta is a famous roadracing track 800 miles from Tulsa, Oklahoma, a grueling trip to make in the back seat of a 1972 BMW 2002.Tony and Indy ride in the front seats. Pennie and I ride in the back.We stop only for gas.Arriving in pre-dawn Atlanta, we get a few hours sleep, then go down to the track where 67 racecars are parked in the dim sunlight of a misty morning.We are invited to examine all 67 of the racecars. At the end of 40 minutes, Tony points to car number 52, a 1978 Buick Skyhawk. He says,“Unless the driver sticks it into the wall or the engine explodes, that's the car that will win.”I looked at number 52, then glanced around at all the other cars and said, “Why?”Tony said,“That's a ten-thousand-dollar paint job, and paint jobs don't win races.”“You're telling me that the owner is an idiot. So why do you think his car will win?”Tony slowly shook his head, then said,“The fact that he spent $10,000 on a paint job lets me know that he spared no expense doing everything that matters. This guy did hundreds of important things to this car before he gave a single thought to the paint job. This paint job was the very last thing he did.”When I understood what Tony was saying, I repeated it back to him. “The fact that he has spent a ton of money to repaint a brand-new car that was already beautiful means that he has already done everything else that could help him win this race.”Tony said,“Ten-thousand-dollar paint jobs don't win races.”I nodded my head, then we silently climbed the hill where we would sit to watch the race.The track at Road Atlanta is two-and-a-half miles of hills, valleys, winding curves, and long straightaways that eat most of the cars and drivers who dare to place tires on its asphalt.A grass-and-tree-covered park sits in the center of that fierce track like a glittering jewel. This is where we will sit on blankets and watch cars fly past at startling speeds as 67 drivers try to outdistance each other for 6 screaming hours.At the end of the appointed time, only 24 cars remained on the track.Number 52 won by an impressive margin.A client said something to me three weeks ago that triggered my memory of standing on that racetrack with Tony 48 years ago.When a young client said that he was thinking about spending a huge amount of money for new truck wraps, I was instantly transported back to that track, listening to Tony explain why the car with the $10,000 paint job would win the race.My client owns a fast-growing home services company that sends technicians to houses to fix things that are broken. He has only been in business a few years.I accepted him as a client because I saw that he had already begun doing the things that will take his company higher than the tops of the mountains that surround him.When he told me that he was thinking of investing a shocking amount of money to have his service trucks re-wrapped, I asked, “Why?”He said he had read a list of extremely successful companies who had all used the same graphics house to design their new truck wraps.I asked,“Was it the owner of the graphics house that compiled and published the list?”My client said “Yes.”I said, “I once went to an Italian Restaurant in Weehawken, New Jersey that had a prominent sign in the foyer that said, “This Dining Establishment is Highly Recommended by its Owner.”We both laughed. Then I said to my client,“Paint jobs don't win races and truck wraps don't grow companies. The owners of every company on that list had already done everything they could do that would make a difference. When they had run out of ways to spend money on things that actually matter, they decided to get an expensive paint job.”Then I concluded my counsel by saying,“You own this company. I do not. My job is to help you do whatever you choose to do. If you feel like you have already done everything that you know for sure will make a difference, then spend the money for the truck wraps. But don't think that those companies became successful because of their truck wraps. Those companies became successful because they had already done everything else that matters.”I do not yet know what my young client will choose to do.But I do know two things:He is smart, hard working, and is outdistancing all of his competitors.Paint jobs don't win races.Roy H.
