Meet Iddo Tal – a coach who went from struggling to enroll clients to consistently signing $5K+ premium clients with confidence. Look, I get it. You're probably grinding it out for pennies on the dollar while watching other coaches land those big-ticket clients. Iddo was EXACTLY where you are right now. Undercharging. Overdelivering. Hustling his ass off just to scrape together enough clients to pay the bills. But then something clicked. Iddo made ONE simple shift that changed his entire business overnight. He stopped playing small. He packaged his expertise into a high-ticket program. And he started charging what he was actually worth - $5K+ per client. The result? Everything transformed. His confidence skyrocketed. His clients started getting BETTER results. And his business finally became predictable and profitable. In this raw, unfiltered 34-minute conversation, Iddo pulls back the curtain on EXACTLY how he did it: ✅ The mindset breakthrough that shattered his scarcity thinking forever ✅ Why charging premium prices actually made his clients MORE successful ✅ How he conquered the fear and self-doubt that was keeping him stuck ✅ The exact system he uses to attract dream clients on autopilot ✅ His no-BS advice for coaches still trapped in the "time-for-dollars" hamster wheel If you've been telling yourself that high-ticket coaching "isn't for you" or that your clients "can't afford it," Iddo's story is going to destroy every limiting belief you have. This is proof of what happens when you stop playing it safe and start building the business you actually deserve. Saw this post that helped me to wake up - along with my coffee - to remind me that I need to focus in on how I want my day to go!! It's from Kevin DeShazo (@KevinDeShazo) shares this gem: “Your future self will either bear the burden of your inconsistency today, or reap the rewards of your commitment today. You get to choose. Show up on purpose.” This hit me this morning (morning of this recording) and it really changed my perspective of the day for me. I was also listening to “The Daily Coach” podcast - latest episode HERE, where it was shared about the “rule of thirds” which is coming from an Olympic coach and it basically says that during your days of working towards something, you will have a roughly each a third of good days, average days and crappy days. All three of them are to remind you that you are going for something great and to not let whatever day you are having get in the way of success. Especially the crappy days - they are telling you the great thing you are going for, is not supposed to be easy - but it's worth it! I needed that reminder as well this morning. It's my choice as to how I will show up! (and I will show up!!) Thanks for listening. When Kelly volunteered to be the head coach for his son's baseball team, he was nervous. He had no formal training, but he knew he wanted his players to have equal playing time—and have fun. Which they did, until the yelling started and the season ended in a stunning loss (and quite a few tears). What can Kelly do better next season? In this encore episode of How To! from 2021, Amanda Ripley connects Kelly with Doug Lemov, author of Teach Like a Champion and The Coach's Guide to Teaching. Doug shares some fantastic advice for commanding attention (and managing failure) that we can all learn from, on or off the field. If you liked this episode, check out Congrats, You Won the Olympics. It's a pyramid scheme—an unethical line of business.”“You've gone to the dark side.”“There are a lot of dodgy coaches out there taking advantage of people and stealing their money.”Brutal!I've heard similar things from other coaches and experienced some of that myself. You too?People love to poke fun at life coaches, especially. And coaching is often the butt of TV jokes. In the last few months, I've heard snide comments about coaching in a few audiobooks I've listened to. That's ONE of the reasons I say:Don't sell coaching session packages.Yes, use the skill for good in your business but don't call yourself a coach.I realize this is controversial. How can a coach think about this dispassionately? Let's talk about it and I'll share some creative personal titles coaches use that help them attract and enroll ideal clients.I'd love to hear from you. Found a very true statement from one of the best at putting out difference-making posts. Mindful Maven (@mindfulmaven_) shared this one that I found plenty of examples of the second part of the quote (sorry to say): “You'll never be criticized by someone who is doing more than you. You'll always be criticized by someone doing less. Remember that.” ~ Denzel Washington. Those that know how things are done correctly - with class, character, hard work, etc., will usually always encourage rather than criticize. Those that have no character and have a title, have a lot of money, have status, and all that, and they maybe gained it by lying, cheating, stealing, etc., they usually are the ones that criticize (and even make fun of, put others down, etc. I think all of us need to go back to looking to do things in our lives to tilt the playing field back to kindness, encouragement, compassion, etc. Go back to podcast episode #1648 - the Ripple Effect!! https://teachhoops.com/ On the Secret to a Championship Season When asked what the single biggest factor was in his team's run to a state title, Coach Matthew Klein dismisses the idea of a secret formula. "Honestly, it came down to a concept we preached from day one: competitive trust. It's easy to trust each other when things are going well, but we built a culture where our players trusted each other most in the toughest moments. It meant our best shooter trusted the 10th man on the scout team to push him in practice every single day. It meant the point guard trusted that if he made the extra pass, his teammate would be ready to knock down the shot. We didn't win because we had the most raw talent; we won because we were the most connected team, and that trust was our armor during the tournament."

Training camp is winding down, and game week is almost here (with Week Zero kicking off Saturday!). That means it's time for a recap from the road.On the latest episode of Y-Option, presented by our founding partner 76 — keeping you on the GO GO GO so you never miss a beat — Jim Thornby and I sit down to unpack everything learned while traveling coast to coast. What stood out:* Penn State: The Nittany Lions have earned the right to be in the national title conversation. I'm a big believer in Drew Allar, as QBs need scars and every Penn State fan knows he has them. I think his maturity and work off the field will lead him to his most successful season in Happy Valley and I would bet in January he will say he played with the most joy in his young career. * Oregon: Despite losing a ton of production, their competitive depth is elite. Dante Moore (not yet named the starter) looked like one of the most impressive QBs I've seen in years. His ability to layer the ball, locate his wideouts and throw a catchable ball is as good as I've seen on the tour. * The Midwest stops: Illinois (my CFP sleeper), Wisconsin, and Iowa. Three places I'd never been to and each visit revealed growth and momentum. Walking away, my takeaway was simple: everybody has gotten better from a year ago. Another takeaway, Bret Bielema is one of the nation's most underrated head coaches. His experience as a head coach, an assistant with the Patriots & more has tangible depth to it and will only help this team if they can get through September undefeated. I think his team will be one of the biggest storylines of the season.* Back West: Our tour out West began in Eugene and then headed north to Seattle to see Jedd Fisch's team in his second year. Demond Williams, Jonah Coleman, Denzel Boston are all stars. With an improved OL this group is going to give teams fits. Add in two 6'4'' corners and UW will be a must see team this fall. We concluded in LA for some Big Ten Network crew fellowship and after watching DeShaun Foster's Bruins and Lincoln Riley's Trojans one thing is certain–the West Coast schools all look like B1G programs on the offensive and defensive lines. * Overall: the best part of the tour was time with my colleagues. Gerry DiNardo, Kyle Coughlin, Ashley Adamson and all of our Big Ten Network colleagues - it was an absolute blast and we made sure to make the most of it. And our Coach found himself with more slips than he knows what to do with!In addition, we dive into Cal naming a starting QB, Utah's opinions on public injury reports, Stanford in Week Zero and the Cougs and Beavs. Overall, this episode is a full rundown of training camp takeaways, the storylines that matter most, and what's ahead as the season kicks off.So with that, let's get after it!! What if success isn't about working harder or even more achievement, but about how we feel day to day? In this episode, Mike Winnet invites us to reconsider the very stories we tell about ambition and achievement. The culture around entrepreneurship often creates illusions; mirages shimmering in a desert of social media noise. Mike challenges us to step beyond these distractions and ask: What if the real path is serene, sane, and sustainable? This episode reveals how transforming our metrics for success can free us from the endless hustle, empowering us to craft meaningful, autonomous lives. Well, I got the emotions going with this one and it wasn't even something I saw coming, until I started sharing things from my heart. This one came from Wisdom Stoics (@WisdomStoics) where this gem was shared: “I will never forget those who came with a lamp when I was in the dark.” It hit me again as to how many people I need to thank for lighting up my pathway through my life. Being in education and coaching, there are countless people out there that had very bright lamps to help me and I hope my lamp helped them. Former students & players along with coworkers too. It also hit me that there are plenty that I didn't even know. Those that came before me and their lamp helped someone that directly helped me. https://teachhoops.com/ On the Secret to a Championship Season When asked what the single biggest factor was in his team's run to a state title, Coach Matthew Klein dismisses the idea of a secret formula.

This week's encore episode is a solo one, focused on The Divorce Roadmap—a framework I created after more than a decade of working with thousands of women and mapping out every stage of the divorce process. Over the years, I've gotten really good at helping people identify exactly where they are on that path, which makes it much easier to know what comes next. Throughout this episode, I walk you through the three stages of the Roadmap: Awareness, Action, and Moving On, and break down the different phases within each stage. Divorce is almost never a straight line. It's messy, it loops, it pauses, and sometimes things fall into place when you least expect it. Knowing where you are on the journey can help you feel more grounded and prepared for what's ahead. It's about uncovering what matters most to the prospect. In this episode, we'll look at how shifting from “proving yourself” to “understanding them” can change the conversation—and your results. I found a few powerful words that were spoken in this post from Mindset Machine (@Mindset_Machine) where they shared this “Four words that will completely change your life… ‘I do it anyways.'” It's that mindset that gets us to think about whatever happens to us, whatever we have to go through, what others may say to us - that attitude of not quitting… that's a huge difference maker. In today's world with so many distractions, having this mindset to not only remember, but also to lean on - it's priceless. I, for one, need this for sure! Thanks for listening. This is coming from a post that I saw by Inky Johnson (@inkyjohnson) and it all centers around Character. The fact that he is sharing some thoughts about the importance of character. If there is ever a time where the world needs to re-focus on character - it's now! We all need to look in the mirror and help ourselves out with living with & improving our character. The so-called “leaders” of our world - certainly need to do the same, probably more so because they do call themselves “leaders”. They need to lead… help to make things better for all of us… it's time! Thanks for listening. Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTHThe movie kicks off and it feels a lot more zany then the other two. Cut to Eden Hall - the ducks are all getting full ride athletic scholarships to be the JV hockey team at Eden Hall. But it's not all fun and games...Bombay tells Charlie that he's not going to be their coach. Charlie is mad. But at least he still has the Ducks. Charlie and the rest of the Ducks show up the first day and make quite the entrance. They get to their happy place - the ice - and immediately begin to play lasso just like the good ol' days. Suddenly, former NHL player Ted Orion comes skating up. He's the new coach. And he is very strict and no one hates him more than Charlie. The Ducks struggle to fit in at this school and are constantly bullied by the Varsity team who Coach Orion warned them not to mess with until they play at the JV Variety showdown. Coach tells Charlie that he's not the captain, moves the players to different positions, starts Julie the Cat over Goldberg, and moves Banks to Varsity. Charlie takes a liking to this girl named Linda and invites her to their first game, which she comes to. It's time for the first game and they absolutely dominate through 2 periods thanks to all of their silly gimmicks. 3rd period begins and they just forget how to play. They give up a ton of goals after not playing playing any defense. They give up 9 goals in one period and the game ends in a tie. Coach is mad. Charlie threatens to quit. And the varsity team puts their clothes in the shower. This leads to a full on prank war. Frozen jackets. Massive dinner bills. Full mission impossible stuff. This leads to an unsanctioned JV vs Varsity game that gets broken up by Orion. He tells them to take off their Duck jerseys. Charlie & Fulton refuse and quit. After a day of tomfoolery, Fulton decides to return to Eden Hall and Charlie is very sad. To make matters worse, Hans passes away. Bombay shows up late to the funeral. Bombay wakes Charlie up out of a slumber and tells him he's got some stuff to show him. They show up at Eden Hall and Charlie tells him that Orion's career ended when the team moved to Dallas and he stayed to care for his paraplegic daughter. Bombay tells Charlie the background story on how he first came to coach the Ducks and says he told Orion that Charlie was the heart and soul of the team, and he hoped that both Orion and Charlie would learn something from each other. The next day, Charlie shows up and tells Orion that he is ready to play two wake hockey. He's happy to have Charlie back. But the Dean shows up before they leave and tells them they're all losing their scholarships.Luckily, Bombay is still a lawyer and comes into a board meeting and threatens to sue them unless they reinstate their scholarships which the board agrees to. The Varsity team comes over and tells them they're going down at the JV/Varsity game, agree that if the JV wins, they become the Ducks, and they get Banks back too for the game. It's time. The JV/Varsity game and Orion brings back the Duck jerseys.Throughout the game, the Varsity dominates on offense. However, the Ducks play good defense and manage to keep the game scoreless after two periods. During the second intermission, Portman shows up ready to join the team. He immediately gets ejected. It all comes down to Charlie passing it back to Goldberg at the last second who scores. The ducks win 1-0!They all celebrate and Charlie sees that Bombay was in the stands this whole time. The Eden Hall banner with the Ducks' logo drops down & Bombay then departs the rink with a smile amid a sea of cheering fans.
