Augenfällig ist, dass ihre vereindeutigte Darstellung der Welt meist zugunsten der amtierenden Regierungen ausfällt. Vielen Medienkonsumenten und gerade Medienschaffenden stößt die Selbstherrlichkeit der Wahrheitschecker übel auf. So dreht sich der Wind dahingehend, dass Faktenchecker nun einem Check ihrer selbst ausgesetzt sind - und zwar vor Gericht. Die Narrativhüter haben in den Gerichtssälen Rede und Antwort stehen, auch bezüglich ihrer Financiers, die nicht selten aus Regierungskreisen kommen. Ein probater Versuch dem Zensurvorwurf zu entgehen und dennoch auf publizierte Inhalte Einfluss zu nehmen, sind Manipulationen an der Reichweite im Netz. Legitimiert wird dieser sogenannte Shadowban widerum mit dem Verweis auf den sogenannten Faktencheck. Wenn die Finanzierung für Informationsunterdrückung sich aus staatlichen Trögen speist, ist der Vorwurf der staatlichen Zensur alles andere als abwegig. Gegen diese Unterstellung wehren sich die Faktenchecker vehement und gerieren sich als Opfer. Before studying Film at the European Film College in Ebeltoft, Denmark, Bloch received her B.A. in Comparative Literature from Columbia University and a Master's degree in Literature at the Université de Haute Bretagne in Rennes, France. In 2011 Bloch received the Sundance Institute's inaugural Editing Fellowship in honor of Sally Menke. Amy O'Connell: A lifelong horror enthusiast with a passion for storytelling, Amy is an experienced editor with a varied portfolio. The 2023 State of the Union address happened and it didn't come without fireworks. As expected, and as Mark alluded to on social media all week, the republicans just couldn't help themselves. Des politiciens et des influenceurs accusent Twitter et Instagram de pratiquer le "shadowban". On pourrait traduire cette expression anglaise par “bannissement discret”. C'est une manière pour les réseaux sociaux de rendre invisibles les publications d'une personne. Dans cet épisode, on vous en apprend plus sur ce phénomène. Contrairement à ce que l'on pourrait penser, le shadowban n'est pas si récent. Dès les années 80 sur certains forums, les modérateurs limitaient la visibilité des publications d'utilisateurs jugés désagréables. Mais la pratique a pris un nouveau tournant avec les algorithmes des réseaux sociaux. Aujourd'hui, Instagram, Youtube ou Twitter utilisent cette pratique, sans vraiment le reconnaître, de manière à réduire les contenus indésirables : publicités agressives, pornographie ou violence par exemple. Un utilisateur shadowban peut continuer à poster sur les réseaux, voit ses propres publications, mais les autres, eux, ne les voient pas. Un genre de censure discrète. Tant qu'une personne ne se rend pas compte qu'elle a été shadowban, on évite ainsi qu'elle ne crée un nouveau compte. Mais comment peut-on se rendre compte que l'on a été shadowban ? Et ce que ce n'est pas finalement une bonne idée de modérer les contenus ? Ou bien est-ce considéré comme de la censure et donc à une atteinte à la liberté ? Et si… ET si vous aviez été Shadowbanned.Ca veut dire quoi shadowban ?Le shadowbanning c'est quand une plateforme met un compte sur le banc de toucheGlobalement votre compte ou ses contenus deviennent plus difficiles à trouver sur la plateforme.Evidemment, le shadowban entraîne une baisse immédiate de l'engagement et de la portée de vos contenu.Pourquoi shadow ? Et bien parce que tout ça se fait dans l'ombre.Dans le principe, votre compte n'est pas supprimé, il est bien là, sauf qu'il devient quasi invisible.Vous n'êtes pas informé non plus par la plateforme, vous ne recevez pas un petit mail ou une notification.En gros vous êtes banni mais sans que ce soit officiel.L'exemple Violante ViandeOn se souvient du compte humoristico satirique violente viandePlusieurs fois le compte a été shadowbanned, à l'époque je me souviens, quand j'avais envie de m'en payer une bonne tranche, impossible de le trouver, il me fallait faire le chemin inverse en retrouvant un post que j'avais partagé à un pote pour y accéder ou taper l'url exact sur mon desktop.Une légendeMais officiellement le shadowban sur Instagram n'existe pas !Ca fait tellement d'année qu'on en parle que comme toute légende urbaine le shadowban est devenu une réalité.Oui, sauf qu'ici il n'y a rien de moins sûr.Officiellement, Instagram ne pratique pas le Shadowbanning. Tout simplement parce qu'ils ont été trop détournés ou trop assimilés à des tendances douteuses.Au passage, le site Kicksta liste ces # à éviter.L'achat massif et pas très discret de fansQue ça ait été fait consciemment ou indirectement, Instagram déteste que vous fassiez gonfler votre compteur avec des fans de synthèse.Avec des techniques illégales, certains comptes sont poussés au shadowbanEx: Balance ton Agency a qui ton a acheté des milliers de faux comptes pour que l'algorithme détecte la supercherie et bloque le compte. Quoi faire dans ce cas précis ? Mettre son compte en privé et nettoyer… a coup de 50 comptes par jour, ça peut être très long..La répétition de commentairesSi répondre à tout le monde est un indispensable du CM, il ne faut pas pour autant s'amuser à copier coller la même réponse à tout le monde. Les algorithmes détectent en quelque sorte le « duplicate content » et peuvent le pénaliser.Les contenus InappropriésForcément le sujet est controversé, car comment déterminer ce qui est controversé de ce qui ne l'est pas.
