President Trump has embarked on a pro-AI data center kick, causing a world of hurt for his own party. The gigantic, energy-guzzling factories are literally and figuratively steamrolling small rural communities—the very same voters Republicans need to clinch the midterms. Politicians on both sides of the aisle are doing an about face on the issue, but will it be too little, too late? Alex speaks to Suzanne Bellsnyder, author of the Texas Rural Reporter substack, about what it's like when your home becomes ground zero for data center development. Then, she puts it all into context with Galaxy Brain's Charlie Warzel, who writes about AI and technology at The Atlantic.Pre-order Alex's new book, The Steal: Four Right-Wing Hard-Liners, One Republican Presidency, and The Raid On America's Courts and subscribe to her Substack here.Hate listening to ads? In this episode the guys sit down with seven-time Mr. Olympia Phil Heath for a wide-ranging conversation covering the military, faith, bodybuilding and business. Phil shares stories from years of USO tours — including a trip to Guantanamo Bay with the Most Interesting Man in the World, drinking the ceremonial grog three times at a Medal of Honor ceremony, and training with Marines on base. He breaks down how being a hyper responder shaped his approach to PEDs (less is more), the problem with influencers recommending a gram of testosterone or 400-500mg of Trenbolone to beginners, why he believes GLP-1s are essentially cheating in competition prep, why he thinks no one in the open division is bringing diet face anymore, how barbell rows and training back twice a week transformed his physique, the mental shift from training angry to training joyful after his faith walk, his four and a half years of depression post-retirement, how he turned down Hollywood roles he felt were degrading, and his anticipation of becoming a father for the first time at 46. The guys also get into bodybuilding prize money history — from $100K and a Hummer in the early Arnold years to Arnold and the Olympia now bidding against each other toward $750K and beyond. Gaslit Nation has long warned that the test for our democracy is whether Jared and Ivanka will be investigated, and whether they will face any charges. Instead, they follow a long family tradition of using their immense illicit wealth to live above the law. In this week's bonus show, we respond to reports that New York Congressman and House Speaker hopeful Hakeem Jeffries secretly met with Kushner, the president's son-in-law, himself the son of a convicted felon, and the shadow secretary of state traveling the world while representing both the American taxpayer and his own grift. They claim Kushner doesn't have an official White House role, then why is he in the middle of every major geopolitical conflict, meeting with dictators and other kleptocrats? (It's the money!) News of the Jeffries/Kushner meeting set off a debate in this week's Gaslit Nation Salon over whether Jeffries is the right leader for Democrats in Congress during this dangerous time, who would be better positioned to replace him, and why we must demand accountability if we're ever going to rebuild our democracy. Jason Reyes is making history from the Bronx to the WORLD. Born and raised in the Bronx to Puerto Rican parents, Jason is the founder and principal of the Bronx School of Hip Hop, the first hip hop high school in the world, opening in New York City in September 2026. Before launching this groundbreaking school, Jason served as principal of MS 129 Academy and built his career around helping young people discover their identity, their voice, their brilliance, and their power. His journey was not easy. Jason grew up in foster care, experienced family loss and adversity, and still chose to dedicate his life to education and service. His story is rooted in resilience, culture, strength, and a refusal to let obstacles determine what is possible. In this conversation, we talk about how the Bronx School of Hip Hop came to be, why hip hop belongs in education, what it means to build a school around culture and identity, and how Jason is handling criticism from people who are not happy about his role as principal. We also get into books, fatherhood, leadership, his love of hip hop, and of course, his top five hip hop artists of all time. Jason Reyes is not just opening a school, he is building a legacy. This fall, the Bronx School of Hip Hop will make history in New York City and around the world, and we are proud to celebrate the man behind the mission.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

During August, the Motherkind team and I try to practise what we preach by slowing down, taking some time off and making the juggle just a little easier over the summer holidays. So, throughout the month, we're bringing you some of our most listened-to episodes of the year so far. What if becoming a mother didn't make you less ambitious, less capable or less valuable at work, but actually gave you skills that could make you better at your job? This week, we're revisiting one of our most listened-to Motherkind episodes of the year, and it's a conversation I think every working mother needs to hear.I'm joined by Vanessa Kingori, who became the first woman in British Vogue's history to become Publishing Director and found herself navigating pregnancy and new motherhood while leading one of the most powerful media brands in the world.Vanessa shares the extraordinary pressure she felt when she became pregnant in such a senior position, including being told that her pregnancy was exactly why businesses were reluctant to put women into these roles. Rather than hiding it, Vanessa did the opposite: she became deliberately visible and set out to make things easier for the women who would come after her.We talk about why working mothers so often feel they're failing at both work and home, even when they're actually performing brilliantly. Vanessa explains why motherhood can make women better at time management, decision-making, prioritisation and leadership — and why businesses that underestimate mothers are missing some of their greatest talent. We also get practical about the juggle: asking for help, having honest conversations with your partner about the division of labour, building your village and surrounding yourself with people who support the life you're trying to create. And Vanessa shares a powerful reminder for any mother questioning her career, ambition or identity: you don't have to choose one version of yourself. You can be ambitious and deeply present. A leader and a mother. Career-driven and family-focused. As Vanessa puts it, she's a better mother because she works — and a better business leader because she's a mother. This is a conversation about working motherhood, career confidence, ambition, mum guilt and redefining what success looks like after children.
With the recent passing of Carol Lynn Pearson, we are releasing this encore episode (originally released in March 2021) of a great discussion between Carol Lynn and Kathryn Knight Sonntag about the divine feminine and the need for "Mother." The sound quality isn't great due to a couple of issues we didn't discover until after recording. It is still highly listenable! This episode celebrates Carol Lynn Pearson's recent book, Finding Mother God: Poems to Heal the World, but does so much more. Carol Lynn and Kathryn Sonntag join LDF host Dan Wotherspoon to talk about the deep ache that not only we, but also our societies and the world, have to fully reclaim the presence and energies of the Mother (Divine Feminine, Mother Creator, Nature, Wisdom, Mother in Heaven, etc.). Yet, too often, we fail to recognize this pain, as well as all the ways things are out of balance because of her having been sidelined. The podcast episode features Carol Lynn reading several of her poems, Kathryn reading an excerpt from her writings on Mother, the cycles of life and death, and the Tree of Life, as well as extended conversations about reclaiming partnership, healing, chaos and decay, and (just a bit near the end) today's political climate. Plus more! You do not want to miss this chance to listen to these powerful women about their experiences, motivations, and all the things that propel them forward in the creative work they do.
In today's extra episode, I talk with Warren Smith about some news items that are slightly (even significantly) outside of our normal charity and philanthropy “beat.” They include: John MacArthur's replacement has been named. WORLD and other news outlets are reporting that “Grace Community Church in California affirmed a new senior pastor, more than a year after the death of renowned theologian John MacArthur. World Compassion Terry Law Ministries has a new name. Another sports gambling tragedy. It's an epidemic that churches and ministries have largely ignored, as our own Makella Knowles reported here. And, if you see something, say something. If you have not discovered our YouTube channel, check it out here. We now have 200 videos there, and they have attracted tens of thousands of views. Subscribe, like, and share to spread the word about our work. Warren is in Nashville in September. If you live there, reach out to him. He would love to share a meal or a cup of coffee with you. His email is wsmith@ministrywatch.com. The producer for today's program is Jeff McIntosh. This episode is based on Warren Smith's weekly “Signs and Wonders” column. To read that column, which includes more links to the resources we've mentioned today, click here. Until next time, may God bless you.

An IDF social media video appeared to advise ultra-Orthodox Israelis facing military draft enforcement on how to avoid arrest at Ben Gurion Airport — and it was quickly deleted. In this episode of Israel Daily News, Shanna Fuld breaks down the controversy surrounding the now-deleted IDF video ahead of the annual Rosh Hashanah pilgrimage to Uman, Ukraine. The video reportedly used an AI character called “Dudy the Explainer” to explain how draft evaders could avoid being detained at the airport. The controversy comes as Israel's long-running battle over Haredi military service intensifies and new legislation has left some pilgrimage-bound Israelis facing draft-evader status. Shanna also examines the growing security tensions in Judea and Samaria, including the strategic significance of the proposed E1 settlement expansion, British pressure over Israeli settlements, and warnings about settler violence. Meanwhile, election season is heating up. Gadi Eisenkot is calling a two-state solution “delusional” following October 7th while simultaneously criticizing the E1 expansion as a strategic mistake. He also takes aim at Ministers Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben-Gvir over settler violence. The episode also looks back at the 2014 Gaza war, including reports of secret direct back-channel contacts between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Hamas through intermediary Shlomi Fogel — contacts that Netanyahu's office and Fogel have denied. Plus, Shanna speaks about Tal Goldstein-Almog, a young survivor of Hamas captivity, and highlights his interview with Australian journalist Erin Molan. And in a cultural tribute, Shanna remembers Dolly Parton and the extraordinary impact of her Imagination Library, including its connection to PJ Library and Israel's Sifriyat Pijama program. The episode also remembers Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, including her acclaimed 2021 exhibition at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. Finally, Rabbi Yossi Madvig explores this week's Torah portion, Ki Tavo, discussing light and darkness, the Messianic era, and the difference between the afterlife and the “world to come.” In this episode: • The controversial IDF video for draft evaders • Why the IDF deleted the video • The Haredi military draft crisis • The Rosh Hashanah pilgrimage to Uman • Airport enforcement and draft evaders • Rising tensions in Judea and Samaria • The E1 settlement expansion plan • British pressure over Israeli settlements • Gadi Eisenkot's election campaign • Israel's upcoming elections • IDF operations against October 7th attackers • Tal Goldstein-Almog and his experience in captivity • Reports of secret Netanyahu-Hamas contacts in 2014 • Israel Daily News' independent journalism • Rosh Hashanah gifts from Israeli artists • Dolly Parton's global legacy and PJ Library • Yayoi Kusama's legacy in Israel • Torah thought with Rabbi Yossi Madvig Support independent journalism: Israel Daily News is independently produced and does not work for the Israeli government. Scott Bessent launches Economic D-Day, Trump puts the “eh” in Canadian tariffs, and Fox News is a little hot for Abdul El-Sayed. This week, Josh Johnson takes us to comedy camp. Dustin Lance Black re-writes gay history (complimentary), and we shake our fists at rollercoasters, social media and Americans who just don't love money enough. Trump starts a trade war with Canada, announces “Economic D-Day” against Iran, while Russia deploys AI killer drones in Ukraine.Tommy and Ben break down the collapse of US-Canada trade negotiations, the politics animating Prime Minister Mark Carney's tough talk, and why a trade war carries long-term economic risks for Canada. Then the Trump administration threatens an “Economic D-Day” against Iran, which so far seems like an empty threat. In Ukraine, Russia has deployed autonomous drones that select their own targets using artificial intelligence, while CIA Director John Ratcliffe makes a mysterious trip to Moscow, and British Prime Minister Andy Burnham makes his first foreign trip to Kyiv and promises long-range missiles. The Pentagon fires the publisher, editor-in-chief, and a reporter from the military's own newspaper, “Stars and Stripes,” for speaking about the importance of editorial independence. And the guys dig into the rise of El Salvador's Nayib Bukele as the unlikely standard-bearer for a new wave of hard-right Latin American leaders, and show some terrifying and funny videos from the 2026 World Humanoid Robot Games. Then Ben interviews award-winning filmmaker Poh Si Teng and Dr. Feroze Sidhwa about the new documentary, American Doctor, that exposes the gut-wrenching experiences of doctors who went to Gaza to help, and the battle to force change back in Washington, D.C.Hate listening to ads? We are in the fight of our lives against a neofascist transnational crime syndicate obsessed with gutting your voting rights and turning the DOJ into a petty MAGA HOA. But if you think it's time to curl up and surrender in despair, here to wake you up is Maya Wiley, President and CEO of the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, and the daughter of relentless Civil Rights organizers, to break down exactly how we defeat this authoritarian coup. The MAGA mob is breaking laws and shredding democratic norms for one simple reason: they are absolutely terrified of our collective power. Maya's parents faced down the exact same terror during the Civil Rights Era, landing on Nixon's enemies list while fighting off a corrupt government, and they won. Maya carries their legacy, reminding us that despair is the oppressor's weapon. Her message is a powerful call-to-action: organized joy, relentless community building, and "fighting forward" are how we create the next era of civil rights. They want you exhausted and apathetic, but we will rebuild our democracy. Gen Z, you especially have the sheer numbers to help stop the coup if you show up for the kind of world you want to live in and flex your power. Dolly Parton, OnlyFans millions, the internet's sketchiest glory days, trailer park memories, a $50 million phone call, the return of Greek Fire, and grown adults getting absolutely dismantled by elementary-school math. Somehow, that's all one episode of The Rizzuto Show. The show starts on a more emotional note as the crew remembers Dolly Parton and the kindness, humor, generosity, and unmistakable personality that made her such a beloved icon. Unfortunately, Rizz had recently expressed concern about Dolly's health, which means listeners immediately dust off the completely scientific and legally airtight Rizz Show Curse and start blaming him. The emails arrive. The accusations fly. Rizz maintains his innocence. Nobody believes him.Lern shares what Dolly meant to her growing up, the crew revisits some of Dolly's funniest moments, and for a brief shining moment, The Rizzuto Show experiences genuine human emotion. Then we start talking about trailer parks.Because of course we do.After a mobile-home community gets unfairly dragged into headlines surrounding the arrest of 49ers owner Jed York, the crew clears up what actually happened—and that sends everybody barreling into stories about growing up around mobile homes. We get Rafe's single-wide childhood, homemade deer-skull decor, Lern's surprise taxidermied boar head, wood-burning stoves, freezing bedrooms, tornado shelters, questionable carpet, decks built onto decks, and enough rural engineering to make HGTV quietly leave the room. From there, things get even more sophisticated with toilet paper, padded toilet seats, an aggressively powerful handheld bidet, National Dog Day, dog breeds, genetically modified animals and the looming possibility that humanity will eventually build Jurassic Park despite having several movies explaining why we absolutely should not. Then it's time to discuss the modern economy.OnlyFans has reportedly paid creators $30 billion since launch, including billions in 2025 alone. Sounds like easy money—until the crew discovers just how tiny the percentage of million-dollar creators actually is. Naturally, this inspires an extremely serious business discussion about celebrity accounts, niche content, and whether there's an untapped market for shirtless men vacuuming their houses. Please do not put that idea into a business plan. The conversation then heads back to the simpler, uglier and significantly more dangerous internet of our youth: MySpace, Napster, mp3.com, GeoCities, eBaum's World, ICQ, AOL chat rooms, Fark, The Chive and Chatroulette—the website Rafe accurately describes as Russian roulette with considerably worse odds.Moon remembers Story of the Year hitting number one on mp3.com with “Until the Day I Die” before the site disappeared, and everybody remembers when the internet felt less like an algorithm trying to sell you something and more like a bunch of weird digital neighborhoods where nobody's parents had any idea what their children were doing.Which, in retrospect, was maybe not ideal. The nostalgia continues into physical media, old video games, vintage magazines, classic barbershops, and the slow realization that future antique stores might be pretty boring when everything we own is technically a license stored on a server somewhere. There's also entertainment gossip, Rizz admitting he's spent years pretending he's seen Donnie Darko, and then Moon drops the big announcement: Greek Fire is returning to the stage for its first headline show in seven years, with new music and a show at Delmar Hall. And because this daily comedy show still hasn't caused enough intellectual damage, we finish with the Rizz Quiz.First, the crew tackles a $50 million hypothetical: if someone offered you $50 million tax-free to call somebody right now, and you only get the money if they don't answer, who are you calling? The answer around the studio is basically King Scott.Congratulations, Scott. Your inability to answer a phone is finally an asset. Then callers take on 45 seconds of supposedly easy trivia. Colors. Animals. Geography. Third-to-fifth-grade math. The sort of questions every adult thinks they could answer until a timer starts ticking and suddenly 60 divided by 6 is zero, 8 times 4 is 36, 18 plus 22 is 50, and a dollar apparently contains 50 nickels. The Rizz Quiz remains undefeated. So this episode has everything: a heartfelt tribute to Dolly Parton, the Rizz Show Curse, trailer park vindication, taxidermy, dangerous bathroom equipment, OnlyFans economics, internet nostalgia, Chatroulette trauma, disappearing physical media, Greek Fire's return, a hypothetical $50 million payday, and basic arithmetic publicly humiliating grown adults. In other words, another completely normal episode of The Rizzuto Show.Come for the funny celebrity gossip and weird news. Stay for the St. Louis chaos, nostalgic stories, Rizz and the gang roasting each other, and the comforting knowledge that no matter how bad your day is going, at least you probably know that 60 divided by 6 is 10.Probably.Follow The Rizzuto Show → linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → 1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Remember when the internet was fun?Not useful. Not safe. Definitely not well designed. But fun.We kick things off with the absolutely bonkers financial numbers coming out of OnlyFans, including the reported $30 billion paid to creators since launch and $6.3 billion paid out in 2025 alone. Sounds like everybody should immediately quit their jobs, right?Well, maybe hang onto that health insurance. The show crunches another number: out of roughly 5 million registered creator accounts, only 5,076 have earned more than $1 million on the platform. Suddenly the “easy money” plan starts looking suspiciously like every other entertainment career.Naturally, this becomes a discussion about celebrity OnlyFans accounts, what exactly people are paying for, whether there's a male market for the platform, and the apparently untapped economic potential of vacuuming your house without a shirt on.Business school, but worse. Then the funny podcast nostalgia machine kicks into gear as Riz asks everybody to remember the websites and apps from the early days of the internet.MySpace. Napster. GeoCities. eBaum's World. ICQ. Strong Bad. Fark. The Chive. Chatroulette.Especially Chatroulette.Rafe perfectly describes the difference between Russian roulette and Chatroulette: Russian roulette gives you one bad chamber out of six. Chatroulette basically reversed those odds. The crew remembers AOL chat rooms, asking strangers “ASL?”, making actual friends online before anybody's parents understood what was happening, and the glorious period when the internet felt like a collection of weird little neighborhoods instead of six giant companies demanding that you accept cookies.Moon also takes us back to mp3.com and the early days of the internet changing the music business. Story of the Year's “Until the Day I Die” actually reached the top of the site's download rankings, beating massive songs from artists including Nelly, Eminem and Evanescence right before mp3.com disappeared. So technically Moon retired as champion. Please respect the belt. The nostalgia continues when the crew gets into Sony and PlayStation reminding consumers that digitally purchased games are licensed rather than truly owned. That means no physical copy sitting on the shelf, no lending your game to a buddy, no selling it later and fewer weird little pieces of physical media surviving long enough to show up in an antique shop 40 years from now.Which somehow leads directly into vintage Playboy magazines.Obviously.Rafe and Riz remember the old-school barbershops where guys sat around, dirty jokes flew freely, every haircut was basically the same haircut, everything smelled like Barbicide and there might just be a Playboy sitting in the waiting area.Rafe remembers the legendary six-dollar haircut at Tally's Barbershop in Du Quoin, Illinois, while the crew tries to determine whether “barbicide” sounds more like disinfectant or a felony committed against someone's hair. This funny podcast then shifts into Crap on Celebrities, where the crew covers Kiss selling its brand rights, developments surrounding the Tupac murder trial, Taylor Momsen joining surviving members of Soundgarden for an NFL halftime performance, upcoming comedy documentaries, Glenn Close defending Kim Kardashian, and the planned return of the Donnie Darko universe. That's also where Riz finally confesses something:He has never seen Donnie Darko. He has, however, apparently spent years pretending he has.Honestly, knowing there's a creepy bunny and an airplane engine is probably enough to fake your way through 80% of conversations about that movie. The entertainment rundown also includes Ryan Gosling producing a new live-action Flintstones project before Lern closes things out with a tribute to Dolly Parton—remembering her humor, philanthropy, Imagination Library, enormous generosity and ability to take criticism without ever losing sight of exactly who she was.And then comes the announcement Moon has been sitting on for years.Greek Fire is returning to the stage.Moon announces a headline show at Delmar Hall on Saturday, October 17—the band's first headline show in seven years. They'll play new material ahead of a larger release planned for next year, with Native Monster joining them and a portion of every ticket sold supporting Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital as part of the Rizz Show October fundraiser.Moon promises full-blown rock theater.Riz promises “hardness.”We were extremely close to ending this episode professionally. So there it is: OnlyFans economics, dead websites, sketchy chat rooms, mp3.com glory, digital ownership, vintage Playboys, barbershop jokes, entertainment gossip, Dolly Parton and Greek Fire finally returning.Another funny podcast that started with financial analysis and ended with Riz discussing hardness.Harvard Business Review could never.Follow The Rizzuto Show → linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → 1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Highlights Catherine calls her summer Preview reading "upwardly mobile," while Sarah sees hers as "the downside of high-risk picks." Catherine liked 4 of her 6 picks, while Sarah's riskier summer ended with one 5-star read — and 3 DNFs. Catherine and Sarah each tried one of the other's Preview picks … and neither made it to the finish line. Some deep thoughts on books where you can "feel the writing device" — and why that rarely works for either of them. Plus, Sarah has a new label for those deeply immersive, cozy reads: "warm bath books." And, of course, their best and worst book picks of the summer! Many people never reach their potential not because they lack talent, but because fear, doubt, and adversity stop them before they even begin. Today's guest, Audley Stephenson, has spent nearly two decades proving that an “audacious” approach to life can change everything. From being rejected as a sports TV intern to interviewing NBA legends like Kobe and LeBron, becoming a professional basketball commissioner, and rebuilding his purpose after the pandemic, Audley has turned setbacks into fuel for growth. On Marketer of the Day, Audley shares the heart behind his brand and body of work: the BOLD framework: Better than yesterday, Outlast adversity, Live your truth, Disrupt the norm. He explains why audacity isn't reckless; it's intentional. It's the engine under the hood that pushes you past hesitation when that inner voice says, “Who do you think you are?” Drawing from nearly 700 episodes of The Audacious Living Podcast and his upcoming book, “Living Your Best Audacious Life Ever: How Unleashing Your Inner Greatness Can Change the World,” he breaks down how ordinary people can make courageous choices, one small bold step at a time. Audley goes deep on the real-life challenges behind his message navigating divorce, false accusations, incarceration, fatherhood, and the emotional roller coaster of reconnecting with a parent he never knew, only to lose him a few years later. Through those experiences, he refined the “Outlast Adversity” pillar of BOLD: you can't control the storm, but you can control how you bunker down, endure it, and rebuild stronger afterward. He also unpacks the crucial difference between confidence and courage, arguing that courage comes first; you act before you feel ready, and confidence shows up later as a byproduct of action.Along the way, Audley talks about how he almost walked away from podcasting despite being known as a podcaster because of nagging self-doubt when he tried to restart during the pandemic. His story becomes a case study in how repetition, “getting your reps in,” and refusing to quit turns awkward first attempts into mastery. He challenges the myth of being “self-made,” showing how mentors, encouragers, and even one-off kind words have shaped his journey and how each of us can become that positive force for others. https://youtu.be/EfygD-HHsrQ?si=zVYfF395Jq8canH- This conversation is packed with mindset shifts and practical philosophy for creators, entrepreneurs, and leaders who feel called to more but are held back by fear or circumstances. If you're ready to tap into your inner greatness, lead through your actions, and create a ripple effect that touches lives you'll never meet, Audley's audacious approach might be the spark you need. Quotes: “The audacity is the engine inside of our cars that determines how fast and how far we go, and we all have it; it's just a matter of unlocking it, tapping into it, and hitting the gas pedal.” “There's a belief that I have to have confidence before I have the courage to do something, and it's actually the other way around; courage comes first, confidence follows.” “If my actions are inspiring others to dream more, do more, and become more, then I'm a leader, but I don't take that action unless I have the audacity to do so.” Contact Details: Ready to Live Audaciously? Traitors RHAP-up: Recaps of The Traitors from Around the World with Pooya
Traitors AU Season 3 Eps 7+8 Recap Watch the podcast on YouTube! The We Know Traitors podcast is back, with hosts Pooya and Annabel Fidler diving into episodes 7 and 8 of The Traitors Australia season 3. With the last OG Traitor standing and the fate of the infamous twins hanging in the balance, Pooya and Annabel break down pivotal moves and shifting alliances in the castle's high-stakes atmosphere. Who has the grit, influence, and strategy to survive as suspicion swirls and alliances fracture? This episode unpacks the intense drama around the Luke and Josh death match, the aftermath of AJ's murder, and shifting suspicions as both Traitors and Faithfuls try to navigate the endgame. Annabel reflects on Kirby's steadying presence as the sole original Traitor left, while Pooya spotlights the twins' influence and how their rivalry fuels game chaos. They trace how Josh and Luke's detective work, Luke's high-profile banishments, and Chrissy's emerging alliance with Kira, Tully, and Rachel recalibrate the pecking order. The discussion also looks at Rachel's rise from suspicion, Tully's struggle with losing allies, and why Rhys, now a Traitor, operates in an increasingly precarious spot. The dramatic showdown between brothers Luke and Josh, and how each's approach affects their credibility and survival Kirby's unique path as the last OG Traitor standing and her method for avoiding banishment despite early suspicion AJ's exit after a failed attempt to outmaneuver the Traitors, and what his banishment means for remaining Faithfuls Chrissy's proactive alliance building, including the formation of her core quartet with Kira, Rachel, and Tully The group's analysis of key missions gone sideways, from failed shield grabs to Lawson's mission mishaps Is Kirby's run as a lone Traitor bound for triumph, or have Faithfuls like Chrissy and Rachel set the stage for a Faithful win? As the remaining contestants shift allegiances and plot their next moves, who can keep control of this unpredictable endgame? Catch the full breakdown for nuanced takes on strategy, betrayals, and the odd phone flirtation that could change the game. Definitely another "pinch me I must be dreaming" episode. Being one of the only Asian American students in my college's theater department in the 90s was isolating. There were very few roles for me, so I leaned toward playwriting. David Henry Hwang was a guiding light for me. He had just won the Best Play Tony Award a few years earlier, proving Asian Americans deserved a seat at the table. He changed the face of American Theater forever, helping all of us see what was possible. Joining me in a chat with David Henry Hwang is our former guest, Michelle Krusiec! Michelle is our stage and screen insider, and I'm so happy she introduced me to her friend David! Why do you feel anxious and like you don't know what to do next — even when you're doing 'all the things?' The answer isn't in your circumstances. It's in your energy field. I have been doing quite a few Intuitive Healing sessions for my anniversary special, and I noticed something interesting…the same energy imbalance in almost every woman! In this episode, I reveal the 3-chakra pattern I see in nearly every woman I work with – Chakras 2,3 and 4 - and how that specific imbalance creates the exact feeling of being unclear, anxious, and uncertain about your next step. You'll understand what your energy has been trying to tell you, and what to do about it! Ps- There are still a limited number of Intuitive Healing Readings at my original 2001 price of $149 – click here to schedule! Key Learnings: 1) I have been doing quite a few Intuitive Healing sessions for my 25th Anniversary special, and I have noticed something interesting… almost every woman has had the same energy imbalance – chakras 2,3, and 4. 2) Within this imbalance pattern, there are actually 2 additional patterns! 2 and 3, and 2 and 4 being out of balance at the same time. When 2 and 3 are out of balance together, this is what I call the 'anxiety pattern.' Emotions and thoughts go round and round in a loop, which can cause that feeling of anxiety. 3) The other pattern is 2 and 4. These chakras are feminine centers, meaning energy is moving into them. When they are out of balance, it becomes difficult for them to receive energy. Why would this be? In my experience, this pattern indicates feeling unsafe or a need to protect yourself. When you feel too vulnerable, these two centers tend to react and go 'offline.' Knowing why, resolving the underlying issue, and receiving energy work to balance them is what is needed. When these two are imbalanced, it is very difficult to know what to do next. The Heart Chakra is your inner compass! The 25th anniversary special is happening until Aug 31st, 2026, so if you want to schedule your session, I am offering Intuitive Healing Readings at the original 2001 price of $149 Schedule your Intuitive Healing Reading here "Not sure what to do next? That's a Heart Chakra issue." Click Here to schedule your Intuitive Healing Reading for $149 – ends Aug 31st, 2026 Click here to join The Miraculous Woman Membership Ready to shine your light?? All Home Care Matters and our host, Lance A. Slatton were honored to welcome Katrina Love Prescott back to the show as our guest. About Katrina Love Prescott, Writer/Director/Producer: Katrina Love Prescott is a caregiver advocate, coach, and media producer based in Vancouver. She spent a decade in commercial TV production in New York before returning to Vancouver, where caregiving for her mother pulled her into a new line of work. She co-founded Care Nation Society, a nonprofit supporting caregivers, and Sunny Love Productions, and created Things Not to Say to a Caregiver and Therapeutic Fibbing to give caregivers real tools instead of platitudes. She advises organizations such as UBC, Vancouver Coastal Health, Providence Health Care, York University, and the BC Office of the Seniors Advocate. In 2023 she won the Caregiver Advocacy Award from the Canadian Centre for Caregiving Excellence. Through Care Nation, she's building healthcare systems and community that actually work for people with chronic illness and the caregivers holding it together. About Sunny Love Productions: Change the Story. Change the World. Jess and Katrina bring decades of experience in scripted, unscripted, and commercial production. We're impact creators — our expertise is listening to people, understanding complex issues, and turning them into stories that resonate and move people to act. Every frame, every word is built to make the invisible visible — because the truth, told well, is more powerful than any campaign. About "Things Not to Say to a Caregiver": When someone says the wrong thing to a caregiver, a no-nonsense Care-y Godmother freezes the scene, educates the unintentional offender, and rewrites the moment — one caregiving crisis at a time. Things Not to Say to a Caregiver is a comedic web series that tackles the awkward, misguided things people say to caregivers — and how we can do better. Each episode, a no-nonsense Care-y Godmother freezes the offender mid-fumble, delivers the reality check they didn't know they needed, and rewrites the moment into something actually helpful. Blending sketch comedy with real caregiving insight, TNTS turns cringeworthy into teachable moments — and reminds us that the right words can change everything
In 1723, the College of William & Mary opened the Brafferton building, a permanent home for an Indian School the college had been chartered to run and struggled to fill for its first 30 years. The premise of the Brafferton: take Native boys and strategically teach them in ways that would make them more useful to the British Empire. So what actually happened inside the Brafferton Indian School? In this revisited episode, the first of a two-part series, our three guests investigate why the Brafferton School existed, how the English filled Brafferton with students even as Native families refused to send their children, and what the Indigenous students did with the knowledge the English taught them. We'll also explore how a school built on a colonial college campus during the reign of King George I connected to schools like the Carlisle School, which were still separating Indigenous children from their families in the 1950s.Show Notes: https://www.benfranklinsworld.com/367RECOMMENDED NEXT EPISODES:
