John jakE Klyczek, the Taoist Professor joins us for a chat about his article in Unlimited Hangout - TrumpED 2025.   We chat about modern schools, how far back the problem goes - even to French Colleges in the 1800's, liberal arts, values clarification, big tech, Hegelianism, the overton window, tech bros and beltway Libertarians, social media, Ed Tech, AGI vs human brains, personalized vs individualized, gifted programs, and the God helmet.   In the second half we get deeper into the Dept of Education, Trump ED, how it is not really going away but potentially growing 4 other agencies. ESG, Social Governance, what is Theil's courseware like, Palantir and the Theilverse, Federal ESA's, and potential solutions- creating parallel structures, and local activism. Greetings and welcome back to The DNA of Purpose Podcast, the place where we empower you to build trust, champion adaptability, and cultivate the courage to unleash your unique DNA of Purpose. Here, we provide the insights, tools, and mindset shifts essential for sparking conversations, leading teams, rallying communities, and influencing cultural shifts to steer humanity towards the innovative solutions shaping our future today. The world of work is undergoing a transformation like never before. With leaders focusing on the intersection of AI, ESG (Environmental and Social Governance), and Diversity and Inclusion, we find ourselves in one of the most progressive eras in history. This shift has left traditional norms and processes struggling to keep up with the pace of change. The question has moved beyond what it means to be human in the reflection of technology: The focus is now on what it means to be human when we are evolving at breakneck speed. How does this inform how we, as leaders, should curate an employee's experience of work? What's abundantly clear to me is that business as usual will no longer suffice. The familiar systems, processes, and procedures we've cherished are no longer fit for purpose. And that is  why today, I wanted to feature a guest who has birthed these innovative out of the box solutions - and a person who has driven revolutionary ideas that have redefined employee experience, talent management, and workplace performance. Cali Ressler is an American author and consultant who has left an indelible mark on the world of work with her pioneering ideas in workplace flexibility and performance management. Today, she is a Director of Global Employee Experience for Accenture, and she is one of the co-founders of the groundbreaking Results-Only Work Environment (ROWE) concept, which challenges the traditional norms of evaluating employees based on the number of hours worked and instead places a sharp focus on performance and results. Cali co-authored the influential book "Why Work Sucks and How to Fix It," outlining the principles of ROWE and how it can revolutionize organizations, leading to improved productivity and enhanced employee satisfaction. Her body of work aligns perfectly with the changing landscape of work, echoing the themes of organizational change, business purpose, and innovative work models that we explore on this podcast. As a testament to her influence, Cali was honored by Dan Pink in his book "Drive" as one of the six individuals who truly "get it," standing shoulder-to-shoulder with luminaries such as Peter Drucker, Jim Collins, and Gary Hamel. This recognition underscores the profound impact of her work on reshaping the future of work. And so without any delay, please welcome Cali to The DNA Of Purpose Podcast.  https://www.linkedin.com/in/caliressler/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

What are state legislatures and Attorneys General doing? How do these enforcement contradict each other, and what should companies do? What should companies be doing to reduce the potential for ESG-related enforcement actions? How does "greenwashing" open the door to civil litigation? Host Chris Kuhlmann tackles the global phenomenon of ESG (Environmental, Social Governance), the many tentacled investment methodology that is effectively being implemented globally to build the infrastructure of the prophesied Beast System. We recognize that many in our audience may not have heard of ESG or even care, but our job on The GRID is to make you aware of strategies being used against believers and citizens to manipulate/coerce them into compliance with ungodly systems and laws that will enslave them, their businesses and their nation. Bible prophesy is unfolding before our eyes, and, while some elements of prophesy will come to pass, that does not mean we are to go along with them, comply or embrace. ESG is deception. It is running through large corporations like cancer, governments are looking to it as a way to enhance their credit rating internationally. The GRID will take on ESG in various editions of the podcast throughout the year, but today Chris begins with the origins and definitions. In this edition Chris Kuhlmann and Shaun Griffin examine an article written by Justin Haskins covering the work of the 1792 Exchange. They recently published a report titled, the Spotlight Report, which assesses more than 1000 companies based on their policies, practices, and other relevant criteria to determine the likelihood that a particular “company will cancel a contract or client, or boycott, divest or deny services based on the views or beliefs.' The article is titled: These 51 big businesses target conservatives. Here's what you can do to stop them. Businesses are ranked Low Risk, Medium Risk, and High Risk. An assessment can be read on each of the 1000 companies examined. Be sure to visit the 1792 Exchange to see for yourself where businesses you trade with rank. 1792exchange.com   1.     Banks 21 "High Risk" banks as identified by the 1792 Exchange: Ally Financial Amalgamated Bank Bank of America Berkshire Bank BMO Harris Citigroup Deutsche Bank Eastern Bank Fifth Third Bank First Republic Bank JPMorgan Chase Morgan Stanley PNC Royal Bank of Canada Scotiabank TD Bank Bancorp Trillium Asset Management Truist US Bank Wells Fargo 2. Transportation Five large transportation companies fall into its "High Risk" category. They tend to engaged in left-wing activism and even promoted partisan legislation.  Alaska Airlines American Airlines Southwest Airlines United Airlines XPO Logistics 3. Retail Giants The 1792 Exchange labeled 15 large businesses in the "Retailing" industry as "High Risk" companies, including popular brick-and-mortar stores Best Buy Home Depot Kohl's, Lululemon Macy's Madewell Target Walmart Online "High Risk" Alibaba Amazon Chewy eBay Etsy Shopify Warby Parker 4. Food and Beverage Companies 10 Large "High Risk" Altria Ben & Jerry's Cargill Coca-Cola HelloFresh Kellogg's McDonald's PepsiCo Starbucks JM Smucker Company Company with the most radical practices by far - Ben & Jerry's. Promoted "Defund the Police" campaigns Opposed legislation meant to limit election fraud Said the criminal justice system "must be dismantled" Openly advocates for pro-abortion policies   Fighting Back  TIP OF THE ICEBERG 100 additional "High Risk" companies Alphabet (the owners of Google) Disney Apple How can conservatives push back against these businesses? Chris and Shaun recommend this first one, Justin Haskins suggests four strong actions each citizen can take.   PRAY Find scripture that addresses the issue the business is working against and pray the scripture. Believe God to show the owners, leadership and personnel the truth about the issue and abandon it as their cause. Believe God to make a hear you and make a difference.   SHARE DISCRIMINATION INSTANCES The first step is to share instances of discrimination and reports like the one produced by the 1792 Exchange with like-minded friends and family.  Bank of America and its CEO, Brian Moynihan, (many of the other banks) assigned a "High Risk" score are some of the biggest supporters of ESG (Environmental, Social Governance), a socio-economic strategy promoted by the World Economic Forum we believe will be the foundation for the future Beast System which will control all commerce and individual purchases.   SWITCH Identify companies offering similar products and services to those offered by businesses practicing this type of discrimination and switch, whenever, wherever possible. When switching products or services, be sure to notify both the business you're leaving and the new, non-discriminatory business what you're doing and why the change.    LETTER NO good alternatives? Send a letter to businesses engaging in discrimination to notify them you're considering leaving because of their discriminatory practices. Companies don't often receive letters like these, so they do have an impact.    LAWMAKERS (another letter?) “Conservative lawmakers need to prioritize policies that reject ESG social credit scores and other systematic attempts meant to coerce companies into embracing leftist causes. The legislation proposed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis proposed legislation in Feb limiting the use of ESG scores in banking – great place to start.“   Visit 1792Exchange.com to get an education   CREDITS Hosts: Chris Kuhlmann and Shaun Griffin Produced by: Shaun Griffin Sponsored by: America First Insurance Group Music composed by JD Kuhlmann Art: Shaun Griffin Sound: Chris Kuhlmann and Shaun Griffin   America First Insurance Group Insuring your life. Protecting your liberty. Federal mandates include Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) policies. Like many federal initiatives they provide broad guidance and enacting these lofty goals can be difficult. Today's interview looks at leaders from the federal government, state, and local who share ways they have been able to include ESG goals in their organizations Two of the people in the podcast are from California. Traditionally, California has been a leader in these efforts for decades.  Andrew Collins, from the San Francisco Employee's Retirement System, really sums up the challenge.  Because he has a fiduciary responsibility to the people who retire, he tries to meet ESG goals, but must include risk management along with seeking opportunities for ESG characteristics. The world of finance and investment is full of metrics.  One challenge the discussion participants discussed is how to measure whether investments include climate change or even social equity goals. Brian Rice from the California State Teachers' Retirement Funds lets listeners know about the 25 risk factors included in the evaluation his group uses. Most people know that the National Science Foundation provides grants for a wide variety of needs. In response to a recent Executive Order indicating that ESG goals must be included in grant approval, the NSF has taken a slightly different tack than the state and local groups. The NSF is looking at geographic targets for development well.  For example, they are trying to create geographically diverse communities for investment in the NSF project.  The idea is that no equity is accomplished if only one area has all the innovation.  They layer ESG goals on top of this regional approach. One innovation from the NSF is to create a repository of information about technology projects. For example, if a person is seeking funding for a specific biotechnology project, they can easily see where similar innovators are considering launching companies.  This eliminated duplicative efforts and allowed for collaboration beyond one's locale.  According to a recent survey from KMPG, ESG considerations about ESG are reflected in these recent Executive Orders. Results indicate 70% government should take a role in solving environment and social issues ESG is an issue that is challenged with the balance of social goals while maximizing financial value creation.  This podcast is a great introduction to practical ways to comply with ESG demands.

Discussions of Corporate ESG Ratings Should Be Monitored By Nonprofit Industry More and more, discussions about the efficacy, morality, and financial benefit of ESG-rated publicly-traded companies on the stock market are becoming commonplace. At nonprofitnewsfeed.com, we think that nonprofits need to be equipped with the context needed to engage both prospective donors and the public at large with what ESG is and is not. ESG, a catchall term for “Environmental, Social & Governance” is marketed to be a way to group, define, and measure companies by their broader (hopefully positive) impact on the world. However, as this op-ed from The New York Times makes clear, ESG (and ESG-related financial products like indexes or funds) are at best unproven in their effectiveness, at worst, a marketing ploy designed to obfuscate the harm done by the very companies on the list. “Sustainability is no longer about doing less harm. It's about doing more good.” Jochen Zeitz How is the topic of energy efficiency in new single-family homes addressed in the mortgage industry?   What pillars of ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) are at play in this system and who are the players? We are joined on today's podcast by Simone Beaty who is the Director of Housing Policy with Freddie Mac.   Freddie Mac was chartered by Congress in 1970 to support the U.S. housing finance system and to help ensure a reliable and affordable supply of mortgage funds across the country.    Freddie Mac operates in the U.S. secondary mortgage market, buying loans that meet their standards from approved lenders. Freddie Mac then pools the mortgages it buys into securities, which they sell to investors around the world.   Drawing on her in depth experience in the financial services industry and strong finance related skills in housing policy strategies, Simone explains how Single-Family Green Mortgage Backed Securities support Freddie Mac's focus on financing energy efficiency in new and existing single-family homes.   These activities help to preserve home affordability over time and attract capital to promote sustainable activities through mortgage financing.   Simone shares with us data, statistics, and trends on topics such as remodeling and repairs, work from home impact, and solar installations. She describes the criteria necessary for qualifying mortgages including the minimum HERS score.   She notes the important impact of the increase in HERS ratings and how this helps more builders relate to more consumers the ties to sustainability that come from Home Energy Ratings.   To learn more about FreddieMac's Single Family Green Bonds go to this link: https://capitalmarkets.freddiemac.com/mbs/green-sfmbs   Or download this framework document: https://capitalmarkets.freddiemac.com/mbs/docs/Freddie_Mac_SF_Green_Bond_Framework.pdf     RESTalk: To the RESNET community, we hear you and want to engage. Sure, the "G" in ESG stands for "governance," but ESG and good governance aren't the same. Background music is Of the Stars by KC Roberts & the Live Revolution   SCRIPT: ESG is an initialism referring to Environmental, Social & Governance. I remember when I first heard the term ten, eleven, twelve years ago, I assumed that what it was trying to get at was an organization's governance when it comes to environmental or social factors, and it's secretly how I continue to think of the term. But that's not what ESG means out in the real world. ESG is really just a catch-all for non-financial factors that people might want to take into consideration when running an organization or measuring an organization's performance. Whether you like my definition of ESG or the real-world definition, or some other interpretation, I bet it has started to impact your idea of what good corporate governance looks like. Here's a generic example: if an organization fails to take environmental or social factors into consideration when making an important decision – say, opening a new mine, or cutting down old-growth forest – I ma, they completely fail to take any interest at all in the potential environmental or social impact of their decision…is that good governance? OF COURSE NOT! Not just because it seems somehow immoral or evil, but because it's important to consider as many factors as possible or else we've failed to create the conditions for an effective decision. But let's say we DO take E and S into account when doing G. Is that sufficient on its own to say we have good governance.

Today Aidan and Candice talk about her career and why she got involved in politics, the work she is doing as leader to unite our strong party, and the Trudeau liberals disastrous decision to remove mandatory minimums. You can check out all the amazing work Candice is doing right here https://candicebergen.ca/ and here https://www.conservative.ca/ Recorded on 05/31/2022 The Hon. Candice Bergen was first elected to the House of Commons in 2008 and was re-elected in the 2011, 2015, 2019 and 2021 elections, representing the riding Portage-Lisgar in Manitoba and is currently serving as the Conservative Deputy Leader. Between 2013 and 2015, Candice served as Canada's Minister of State for Social Development having previously served as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Public Safety. In her role as Minister of State for Social Development, she worked with all provinces and territories to ensure Canada's affordable housing programs were fair to taxpayers and sustainable for those families needing support. She also reformed the government's Homelessness Partnering Strategy towards an evidence-based housing first approach that is producing measurable results in reducing homelessness. As the lead Minister responsible for the Office of Disability Issues, Candice ensured families and Canadians living with disabilities were supported through world-leading programs such as the Registered Disability Savings Plan, Opportunities Fund and Enabling Accessibility Fund. On November 20th, 2015, Candice was appointed to the Opposition Shadow Cabinet as Critic for the Natural Resources Portfolio. On September 15, 2016 Candice was appointed as Conservative House Leader by Interim Conservative Leader, Rona Ambrose. In August 2017, she was reappointed as the Conservative House Leader by the Party's new leader, Andrew Scheer. Most recently in August 2020, Candice was appointed by Conservative Leader, the Hon. Erin O'Toole, as Deputy Leader. She was reappointed to the role in November 2021. As Deputy Leader, Candice has been given the task of connecting the Conservative Party with companies expanding their focus on ESG (Environment & Social Governance) to lessen their impact on the environment and attract new, green investment. Conservatives understand that companies, especially in the energy sector, are turning to green governance to make Canada's already clean, ethical energy, even better. Candice brings extensive experience in both the business and political communities. Prior to becoming a Member of Parliament, she worked in the financial planning industry, and was the Manitoba Campaign Manager for Stephen Harper's leadership bid for the Conservative Party of Canada. She has also acted as an advisor to several Members of Parliament and served as Chief Organizer for the Conservative Party of Canada in Manitoba. Candice is also committed to her community and has done extensive volunteer work within Manitoba. She has dedicated her time to various youth groups and has worked with at-risk youth as well adults in correctional facilities.
