George Russell Congratulations to Lewis (Hamilton). He drove a really impressive race today after being incredibly quick in Qualifying yesterday. Coming into the weekend, I don't think we expected that pace from Ferrari, so we know we've got a challenge coming from them in the races ahead. We will be working hard to tackle that challenge and get back to winning ways. On my side, the race today was not straightforward. I was struggling with the tyres towards the end of my second and third stints; the Virtual Safety Car didn't help us either and it would have been a fascinating race with Lewis without that. I will take the positives from this weekend though. It has been clean from the very start and I come away with 18 points, which is 18 points more than I managed across Canada and Monaco! We will regroup in the week ahead and look to improve for Austria. We've got a big double-header coming up with Spielberg and Silverstone and I am already excited for it. Kimi Antonelli It is very disappointing to retire from P2, but these things can happen in racing. George suffered an issue in Canada and now it's happened to me; we know our reliability is something we need to work on and I am sure the team will be pushing incredibly hard to improve that. It's more important points that we've lost but we must remember that it is the first year of these new regulations and we are all learning quickly. Congratulations to Lewis (Hamilton) on his victory today. He is a great driver and has been so much help in my career so far. I am pleased to see him up there once again as he really deserves it. I think we had the pace today to challenge him for the win, but the Virtual Safety Car came out at a bad time for us, and we didn't get to see how things would have played out. We have one week without racing before returning in Austria. We have seen our competitors take a step forward here this weekend and we will need to raise our game there if we want to fight for victory again. We will pick ourselves up, learn from this weekend, and come back stronger. MAX VERSTAPPEN - 4th "Today we just didn't have the pace to keep up with the cars ahead. I was really just doing my own race as we were a little bit behind the guys that finished in front of me. As a Team we did everything right, it was the winning strategy, so we made the right call there with the tyres. We were just too slow compared to the cars ahead on each compound, unfortunately. We tried our best and put everything into it but ultimately the whole weekend was a bit tough for us. We do struggle more with these high energy tracks with high degradation and we just need to work on things and try to find more pace in the upcoming races." ISACK HADJAR - 6th "I felt like I had good pace this weekend once we got to Qualifying and the race, but I had a shocker at the race start with so much wheelspin, so that's one aspect I really want to focus on before Red Bull Ring. We could have fought with Oscar if we had a good start, so it's a bit of a shame. I think we did way better than we thought we would this weekend given the track layout and conditions. Austria will be a better track for us, and we expect to have a stronger car. We just need to work on the starts." TOYOTA TAKE ITS SIXTH VICTORY AT LE MANS Toyota executed a perfect, textbook strategy throughout the 94th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans to claim its first victory since 2022, securing a sixth overall triumph and equalling the tally of British marque Bentley.     To spectacular fanfare, Japanese powerhouse Toyota Racing lifted the iconic trophy at a sun-kissed Circuit de la Sarthe for the first time in four years, in front of hundreds of thousands of spectators at the venue and millions more watching around the world. Drivers Kamui Kobayashi, Nyck de Vries and Mike Conway emerged as the team to beat at the end of the race, guiding the #7 Toyota to victory ahead of the sister #8 Toyota Racing entry, the #20 BMW M Team WRT and the #12 Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA machine in an epic four-way battle to the chequered flag – underlining the "Platinum Era" status that the Hypercar category is building. For Kobayashi, it was a second Le Mans victory. It marked a second triumph for British star Mike Conway and, for the first time in 38 years, a historic win for the Netherlands as Nyck de Vries became the latest Dutch driver to conquer Le Mans. It looked set to be another Toyota one-two, but BMW's never-say-die attitude ensured that the FIA World Endurance Championship points leaders – the #20 crew of Robin Frijns, René Rast and Sheldon van der Linde – claimed second overall and a valuable haul of championship points. Toyota could still be delighted with third place, although a few costly mistakes and strategy calls denied the #8 Toyota of Sébastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley and Ryō Hirakawa another victory. Meanwhile, Cadillac can take plenty of plaudits once again. A crowd favourite throughout the week, the #12 Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA crew gave everything in pursuit of victory, and the pace they demonstrated at Le Mans suggests they will remain contenders for years to come. Corvette capture the magic of Le Mans once again with iconic yellow #33 Corvette run by TF Sport took LMGT3 laurels with Ben Keating, Jonny Edgar, Nicky Catsburg taking a popular leap onto the top step of the podium. Het werd voor Nederland een historische 94ste editie van de 24 uur van Le Mans. Nyck de Vries werd namelijk de derde Nederlander ooit en de eerste sinds Jan Lammers in 1988, die de algemene zege wist te pakken. Samen met Kamui Kobayashi en Mike Conway bleef hij met de nummer zeven Toyota uit de klauwen van de BMW van onder meer landgenoot Robin Frijns. Daarmee stonden er dus ook niet één, maar twee Nederlanders op het podium in de Hypercar-klasse. Feest was er ook voor Nicky Catsburg, die zijn tweede Le Mans zege pakte in de GT's met het team van Corvette. Mit dem Trip nach Japan erfüllt Forza Horizon 6 den absoluten Sehnsuchtsort der Community. Das unverbrauchte Setting zündet bei uns dreien auf ganzer Linie. Ob wir im Neonlicht Tokios die Reifen glühen lassen oder uns gemeinsam die engen Bergpässe hochkämpfen: Die Atmosphäre verneigt sich tief vor der japanischen Autokultur. Der ohnehin schon riesige, abwechslungsreiche Fuhrpark wird ergänzt durch geniale Tuning-Möglichkeiten und tonnenweise optische Upgrades. Außerdem fesseln uns die fetten Tracks aus den Radiostationen, der Punktemarathon und der ständige Community-Vergleich für viele Wochen an den Controller. Ganz fehlerfrei ist der Launch aber nicht: Die Gummiband-KI neigt in engen Kehren zu unfairen Moves, und über ein paar kleinere Bugs sind wir im Test auch gestolpert. Zudem sorgt das neue System für einen ordentlichen Grind, bis wir den finalen Endcontent und die absoluten Hypercars in unserer Garage stehen haben. Am Ende überwiegt für uns aber der pure Fahrspaß: Ein absolutes Brett für Rennspielfans.

En la IndyCar, Christian Lundgaard firmó una de las victorias más importantes de su carrera en el Sonsio Grand Prix disputado en Indianápolis. El piloto danés del equipo Arrow McLaren protagonizó el adelantamiento decisivo sobre David Malukas en una maniobra espectacular que rápidamente se convirtió en una de las imágenes del año. VERSAILLES, November 17, 2025 – Olivier Jansonnie is appointed Head of Stellantis Motorsport, effective 2026, January 31st. He will report to Emanuele Cappellano, Head of Enlarged Europe, European Brands and Stellantis Pro One. Olivier will replace Jean-Marc Finot who has elected to retire, they will work together during this transition period.   A graduate from Centrale-Supélec, Olivier Jansonnie is rich in more than 25 years of international experience in motorsport leading technical teams in different categories from LMP1, Hypercar, DTM, WRC, WRX and Cross-Country. Starting his career at Peugeot Sport in 1998, Olivier moved to Mitsubishi in 2003 leading the development of the Lancer WRC, then contributed as freelance to many programs in WRC or Endurance for Peugeot, including Le Mans 2009 win. In 2012, he became head of vehicle development at BMW, supervising Design Office, Aerodynamics development and Quality engineering for all BMW Group motorsport activities. Back to Peugeot Sport in 2016 as Technical Director & Automotive Project Director, he led the technical team for Peugeot Sport programs: Cross-Country (Dakar), WRX and e-WRX. Since 2020, he leads the Endurance program for Stellantis Motorsport while being the team principal of the Peugeot Total Energies Team. “I am pleased to have Olivier Jansonnie leading Stellantis Motorsport in Europe. His strong expertise and wide knowledge of all racing activities will play a critical role in supporting each brand involved in motorsport. LUKE BROWNING TO HIT THE TRACK IN ABU DHABI FP1 AND YOUNG DRIVER TEST Atlassian Williams Racing is pleased to share that Williams Racing Academy Driver Luke Browning will drive Alex Albon's FW47 in the first free practice session at the 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, and will participate in the end-of-season Young Driver Test. Luke joined the Williams Racing Driver Academy in April 2023 following his stand-out 2022 season where he secured the GB3 Championship and won the 2022 Autosport BRDC Young Driver of the Year Award. Since joining the Academy he has continued this upward trajectory, winning the Macau Grand Prix in 2023, also taking pole position and the fastest lap, and finishing the 2024 FIA Formula 3 season in third with two race wins and a podium in Monaco. As part of the Williams Racing Driver Academy's proud tradition of giving young talent a path into F1, Luke has regularly driven in the Testing of Previous Cars (TPC) and simulator programmes with the aim of preparing him for the future. He has balanced this with a successful FIA Formula 2 campaign, currently occupying third position in the standings and going into the final two races of the season in a fierce battle for the title. Museum) PEBBLE BEACH, CALIFORNIA (November 12, 2025)­­­­ — The mighty Sunbeam 1000 HP, the first car to achieve a land speed record of 200 mph, has been asleep for over 90 years. But a team of restorers at the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu, England, is now in the process of gently waking this giant—and if all goes as planned, the restored beast will make its US debut at the 2026 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance before attempting a centennial run at Daytona the following spring.    “The process of restoring a one-off car like this takes real dedication,” noted Concours Chairman Sandra Button. “There is no pattern to be followed. It takes time and research, effort and expertise. We are thrilled to know that the National Motor Museum intends to send the restored car to Pebble Beach, to share with enthusiasts here.”   The Sunbeam 1000 HP was built to compete in the race for speed. The 100 mph barrier was first broken in 1904, and then it took more than two decades to reach 150 mph—a record Malcolm Campbell achieved in July of 1925 at the wheel of a Sunbeam 350 HP. The Sunbeam 1000 HP, crafted around two of the marque's powerful 22.4-liter Matabele aero engines placed to the fore and aft of the vehicle, came into being less than two years later and proved to be revolutionary. Driving it on the smooth sands of Daytona Beach on March 29, 1927, Harry Segrave recorded a speed of 203.79 mph.   “This car has been at Beaulieu since before I was born and feels like a member of the family, but one I never expected to run again,” said Ralph, Lord Montagu of Beaulieu. “Watching the restoration take place has been fascinating as it has revealed so much I never knew about the car. It will be quite a thrill to have the car at Pebble Beach and is a great opportunity for us to wave the flag for the National Motor Museum!” The car's restoration is now well underway. The rear engine has already been disassembled, re-machined, restored, and refitted into the frame—and it was first fired up before an adoring crowd at the Beaulieu International Autojumble in early September. The museum team is now focused on restoring the front engine. When that, too, is back together and in place, the bodywork, which has already been restored, will be reinstalled.   “Over the last three and a half years, the Museum's team have worked tirelessly to make the mighty Sunbeam 1000 HP roar again, with help from a wide range of supporters, stakeholders and heritage engineering specialists,” said Jon Murden, Chief Executive of the National Motor Museum. “Having experienced the first of the car's remarkable engines running once more, we are all now thrilled at the prospect of the Sunbeam returning to the United States for the first time in a century.”   John, the second Baron Montagu of Beaulieu, was a motoring pioneer, who campaigned for the rights of early motorists. In the 1950s, his son Edward founded what is now the National Motor Museum to honor him, and that museum shares a long history with the Pebble Beach Concours. Edward first showed a car—his 1913 Alfonso Hispano-Suiza—at Pebble Beach in 1981, and the following year, he donated the Montagu of Beaulieu Trophy, which the Concours presents annually to the best British car shown on its competition field.
