The Power of Mentoring (LONG EPISODE) Let's talk today about the Power of Mentoring...full disclosure I am launching next week a full mentoring suite of products...but its not the reason for this episode...I wanted you to know why I created it, how I created it, and what is important when considering a mentor...any mentor... I've had the privilege of spending the last 25 years working closely with some of the biggest thought leaders, celebrities, authors, and business experts in the world. People like Tony Robbins, Robert Kiosaki, Donald Trump, T Harv Eker, Les Brown and dozens of others. My companies have developed programs and marketed events for EXPERTS all over the world. And we've spoken to hundreds of thousands of people, JUST LIKE YOU, who were looking to create more health, wealth, and prosperity in their lives… People who were tired of the results they were getting... High achievers and Successful Entrepreneurs, but they wanted more… I am grateful for this experience because it gave me a rare opportunity to be Mentored by Leaders who have a Proven Track Record in all areas of life...Personal, Business and Wealth. BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY… it gave me the opportunity to study and analyze what really helps people Create Success and what seems to keep Holding Them Back… You know what I found?... I discovered that Success REQUIRES more than goal-setting and hard work... It requires a combination of a Strong MINDSET, Proven STRATEGIES, and Proven Tactics if you truly want to create Significant, Lasting Results in Business and in Life. But Ultimately… If you really want to make major improvements in your life, you need a Mentor or Coach. It's an absolute must! Books, audio programs, video programs, and seminars all have their place in your personal development quest, but coaching stands apart as the single greatest potential contributor to helping you create an extraordinary life. One of Greatest Business & Personal Mentors I had in my life, was Robert Stuberg. You may not know Robert by name, but Robert is a Legend in Personal Development and Business. He is the Guy the Gurus went to for Mentoring, he Marketed their ideas for decades while he was running Nightingale-Conant. He created Success.com and several other successful businesses and Best-Selling Programs. Robert taught me many of the "insider secrets" and he was my Personal and Business Mentor for the past 17 years. He was Pivotal in helping me to scale my company from $20 million a year to over $200 million a year. I have personally applied strategies and principles in my life and have achieved amazing results with a mentor. I have been able to start, manage and scale several companies with Hundreds of Millions in Sales over the past 25 years. Recently, Robert passed away and it has given me an unbelievable desire and passion to continue his work and share my knowledge, resources and strategies with others around the world. That's why I am passionate about helping Entrepreneurs, Small Business Owners, and Professionals "JUST LIKE YOU” get more Results, and take their game to the Next Level. I've trained, mentored, and supported thousands of people throughout the world, and I'm Passionate about helping YOU take your business to the next level too. If you are like most people and have been struggling to get more Results in your Life, Career or Business over the past couple years…or you just want to get more Direction, Purpose and Passion…this program is exactly what you NEED. Instead of letting your future just happen to you . . . instead of letting yourself be controlled by “random” events . . . Getting a Mentor will put you in the driver's seat of your life. Click the LINK IN THE SHOW NOTES and fill out a short profile so I can get to know you and set a time to talk with you personally. Here are some additional thoughts, ideas and information that might help you determine if a Mentor is Right for YOU… It truly is The Best-Kept Secret of the Rich The richest person in the world uses the Power of the Mastermind and Mentoring and it's no accident. What all high achievers know is that they need someone who can give them an objective and experienced view on the results they are working to create in their lives. A Mentor not only holds you accountable for the results you desire, but a Mentor also provides you with insights and strategies you can use to achieve those results in the best way possible. Warning...What it Takes for Mentoring to Work is no joke Mentoring is most effective when there are two factors present; you are willing to grow, and there is a gap between where you are now and where you want to be. That is all that is necessary for the Mentor to help you solve problems, turn a business around, design and implement a new plan of action, and create a new life you would most like to live. So, ask yourself this powerful question… Are you where you want to be in life right now…if not Why? Why would I recommend CEO Mentoring? Two things are absolutely critical when considering a Personal Mentor. First, you must find a program that is geared to your specific needs. And, second, you must find a Mentor that has the knowledge and expertise to help you with your specific situation. There are so many "life coaches and experts" out there in the marketplace that I simply cannot stand by any longer and watch people waste good money on mediocre resources. One of the reasons I created the Mastermind Mentoring Program is because it combines Proven Course Curriculum with Unmatched Experience and Results. Our programs are developed from Proven Results and over 50 years of combined Experience. Decades of research has gone into the development of each and every strategy we offer. You simply can't find a better series of personal, business and financial programs than the ones you'll find at The Evolution Group...but, there are some quality programs out there for sure. What is Mentoring? Mentoring is a highly focused process that unlocks potential and maximizes performance. It should be a formal system that produces positive, lasting change. Conducted in a collaborative, confidential environment, mentoring provides an opportunity to gain clarity, remove self-imposed limitations, and become more self-reliant, so you can fully tap into your strengths. What is a Mentor? There are so many definitions and differences between coaches, advisors, experts, mentors, etc. But ultimately... A Mentor is just someone who can help you ignite and unleash your potential…Period!! A Mentor facilitates critical new insights, enabling you to set targeted goals and take deliberate action. Mentoring assists you in seeing where you are, where you want to go, and how to get there. It challenges you to accomplish more and to contribute more. A Mentor is someone who: Helps you break through limiting fears and beliefs Encourages you to pursue your dreams Helps you problem solve and find solutions Keeps you focused and motivated Supports you in all you do! Brings Experience. Insight and Strategies to assist you A Mentor is a professional trained to help high-achievers figure out what they want most from life, and how to achieve it. They have experienced the challenges and opportunities you are faced with and offer perspective and a proven track record of accomplishing high levels of success. Think of it as hiring your own personal "life and business consultant." Most of us already have ideas on what areas of our lives we would like to change or improve in our business, career, relationships, health and fitness (or possibly all of the these). Rather than dispense generic advice, a Mentor will listen to your individual needs, and work with you in the development of a specific plan of action. As a result, you will set and achieve bigger and better goals. Having a Mentor challenges you to do more than you would have done on your own, and provides the tools, support and structure that ensures your success! Who Should consider Hiring a Mentor and Why? People hire a Mentor because: They want to make their life easier They want to increase their revenue, income or wealth They want to grow or change and get out of their comfort zone They want more lifestyle and freedom They want more or less of something that they've decided is important in their life Mentors can help you get all of these. Quickly!... It's that simple. Mentoring Will Help You Live an Extraordinary Life! Learn to design and live the life of your dreams: Because you will set goals that you REALLY want! Mentoring can help you distinguish between what you "could," "should," "ought-to," and "have-to" want, from what you deep down in your own heart and soul really want. Once you create the ideal goals, you're much more likely to naturally, and consistently, take the necessary actions to reach them. PLUS, You will Progress more rapidly: Because you continually evaluate where you are, and where you're going! The Mentor relationship gives you an "objective partner" to help you constantly evaluate whether your actions are working effectively or not. This consistent feedback loop allows you to adjust your approach and move forward at a much quicker pace than if you were working alone. Reach for more than you ever thought possible: Because you have a partner who is there to support you! When anyone has a partner they trust, they will always reach for much, much more...because they can afford to. That's what the Mentoring relationship is all about! As a Bonus you will also Make Better Decisions for Yourself: Because Your Focus is Clear! There is value in sharing ideas with someone who understands you and wants a lot for you. Just discussing your options with someone who can listen, is often enough to crystallize your thoughts and notions. Clarity is a primary driver of peace of mind, productivity and RESULTS! What Are Some of the "Results" You May Experience by Having a Mentor? Mentoring can help you: Make more money Create more wealth Grow your business revenue and profit Become more profitable Solve problems and challenges Plan for success Set and achieve goals Get clear on what you want Push through limiting fears Reduce stress Improve communication skills and relationships Gain more self-confidence Design a life Develop strategies See other possibilities Stay focused on what's important in your life Consistently take action Dream big What Are Some of the "Benefits" You May Experience by Having a Mentor? Mentoring will help you feel: Supported Encouraged Inspired Motivated Listened to Understood Confident Successful Productive Ultimately, I cannot recommend enough that you consider getting a Mentor...Yes, a formal Mentor Relationship. I believe a couple things I want to really end this episode with: 1-You have greatness inside you and EVERYTHING YOU need to achieve it. 2-A Mentor will help you make it happen. Without one, you will stumble and fall and some of you will never realize your true potential because you cannot get over your limiting beliefs on your own...it's as simple as that. I recommend you search around, ask around, and consider getting a mentor. If you want to check out The Evolution Group Mentoring Programs we will have several launching... 1-Academy Mastermind Group Thursdays 6pm 2-CEO Mentoring which is private and primarily business related 3-Live Events happening throughout the rest of the year -Academy Live (3) -3 Day Wealth Summits (2) and many other webinars, trainings and curriculum. Ultimately, I want to hear about your success, your struggles and your challenges so please DM me if I can help. Please share this episode. It would mean a lot to me and ultimately for someone else looking for clarity in their life. Have a great day...see you tomorrow. G

Unlock your potential and empower others through mentorship with speaker and author Vince Miller.
In this episode of The New CISO, Steve is joined by Jason Hamilton, CISO at Mutual of Omaha, to discuss how having a military background leads to security success. After twenty-two years in the U.S. Marine Corps, Jason was able to take his skillset and move into the cyber security industry. Today, he shares what he learned over the years that prepared him for the career he has today. Listen to the episode to learn more about Jason's military experience, tips for officers entering the civilian workforce, and the importance of corporate mentorship. Listen to Steve and Jason discuss ways for veterans to transition into the corporate world: Meet Jason (1:45) Host Steve Moore introduces our guest today, Jason Hamilton. Jason shares his first mission as a Communications Systems and Information Officer. Jason also divulges what a higher-ranking officer should do, such as refining leadership skills and managing efficiently. Essential Lessons (8:30) Steve presses Jason on what else he learned from his early days as an officer. Jason explains that there's no such thing as a perfect leader, and everyone makes mistakes. The key is to learn from your mistakes when you're young, which applies to both the military and corporate world. Civilian Training (10:01) When Jason first joined the Marine Corps, information technology was separate from his role. To move up, Jason had to learn to work with data on the battlefield and eventually took on an instructor position. To get smart fast, he took civilian classes to ensure he could adequately train other officers on information and data. Part Of The Job (14:56) As Jason rose through the ranks, working with data remained. Jason learned about Cyber, formerly known as Information Assurance, and how it became a priority of the Marine Corps. As Cyber became part of the military, it became more and more a part of Jason's career. The Last Ten Years (19:22) Jason reflects on his last ten years in the corps. Like anyone who has long served, he had to broaden his horizons to reach a different level, often through education. Jason had a strictly cyber role by the end of his military career and focused on leadership. Ultimately, Jason credits everything he did in the Marine Corps for preparing him for the corporate world. General Feeback (22:55) Steve presses Jason for advice he can give other officers looking to transition into civilian work. Jason reminds officers to humble themselves when entering the corporate sector because co-workers may not care about their military past. Also, he urges officers to work on resume writing and seek mentorship when looking for a job. Lessons On Corporate Culture (32:10) When veterans come into an interview, there is a natural culture shock, primarily because workers are not as likely to be Type A outside the military. Other differences are incorporating empathy and listening into your leadership style. While it is up to you to quickly solve a problem in the military, in the corporate world, there is much more emphasis on nurturing your team to fix workplace issues. The Mentor Relationship (35:31) Jason used to meet his corporate mentor once a month and learned after his first meeting that he would need to drive the conversation. Jason then would send his mentor his agenda two weeks ahead of time to ensure that he would make the most out of every encounter. Ultimately, veterans need to show initiative when transitioning into civilian work. The End Of The Mentorship (37:37) Steven asks Jason what officers should gain from a corporate mentorship program. Besides resume writing, Jason urges veterans to learn how to negotiate salaries and familiarize themselves with corporate culture. Finally, A CISO (41:58) Now a CISO, Jason shares his goals when starting his cyber security career. His first goal was to give himself two years in the corporate world to see how he fared. His next goal was to learn how to...
SummaryKey TakeawaysLast time we talked, I had opened up the possibility of talking mentorship with you and we didn't get a chance to touch on it. In your experience, how important is it to find a mentor? The importance of a mentor is directly proportional to the importance you've set on your goals and your developmentIf you're one of those “i'm just happy to be here” kind of people, a mentor will probably feel unnecessary to youIf you're someone who has a target in mind (ie. I'm a manager and I want to be CMO someday, or I started a side hustle and I want to turn it into a full-time gig), it's a critical component on your journey to your goal to find a mentor (or a few!)What should a person look for in a mentor?Someone who has already achieved the goal you've set for yourself (NOT someone whose overall achievements are inspirational to you)Meaning – if you have a goal to be a CMO, find someone who currently is or has been a CMOThis is NOT – I want to pursue X as a mentor because I think they live a really cool life and I want to be them“Never meet your heroes”Someone's life & success often is not as it seemsIt is incredibly difficult & unlikely to mirror your entire life after someone else'sYou'll fall flat in conversations if you're not clear on what you're looking to learnSomeone who is/was in your industry or one that's adjacent to yoursThis leads to a natural progression of networking opportunitiesAlso cuts through the “language barrier” of having to over-explain your role/industry to glean meaningful recommendations toward your goalSomeone who is fairly accessible and open to continued communicationGoes without saying, but cold-calling a CEO of a Fortune 500 company probably won't get you anywhereSomeone with limited time can be great for a one-time conversation (you can learn a hell of a lot in one phone call), but would not work as a long-term mentorSomeone with a communication style that matches your ownBy this I mean – you both prefer meeting in person, scheduling phone calls, sending emails, etc.If you don't like talking on the phone and your prospective mentor keeps scheduling calls, it's probably not going to work over timeHave you been a part of any orgs that formalize the process of finding and having a mentor?Once, professionally, and it was the worst thing in the world! In one of my previous roles, it was a requirement for new hires as part of the onboarding process to attend quarterly “coffee chats” with a randomly-assigned mentor who may or may not be in your departmentMentorship has to be something both parties want to do & are ready forAnd some of the best mentors operate outside the confines of a defined mentorship relationshipDoes/should you mentor change over the course of your career? They can, but they don't have toInstances where they do change:Your goal changesYour mentor falls out of sync with your goalsYour mentor can no longer dedicate the time to youRecommend having more than one mentor at all times:Ensures you're hearing a diverse perspective of experiences & insightsEnsures you're not leaning too heavily on one particular personMentorship burnout can be realWhat are your best tips for early career professionals in this biz on being a good mentee?Be thoughtful in your approach to learning from your mentorAsk detailed questions, not a general “how did you do X”Don't ask something you can readily find on Google, but do use information you find as a launchpad to ask something else; ie. “I saw on LinkedIn you were at X company as CMO, what about that company made you want to accept that position there?”Be respectful of your mentor's timeShow the hell up if you schedule somethingRemember it's a two-way streetA good mentor is invested in your successIf they don't show up to something you've agreed on & scheduled, consider walking awayYou can walk away from a mentor if it's not working out for youWe often have such high expectations walking into conversations with strangers, and occasionally it can turn out nothing like what you expectedDo you want to shout out to any of your mentors? My current manager, Pamela!I legitimately think she would shy away from officially being called a “mentor,” but has been my guiding light in my careerShe helped shape my approach to mentorship, personal development & how I operate in my role:“Your value is not in what you know, but how you think.”CreditsProduced by: Creative Force - creativeforce.ioEdited by: Calvin Lanz Sound - clsound.netHosted by: Daniel Jester - danieltjester.com

Jesus did life with his disciple for 3 years, showing them, not just telling them how to live faithful lives to God and others. He modeled for us this mentor relationship beautifully. On today's show we talk about the many benefits of being a mentor to others and being mentored. Some are obvious but we surprised ourselves after years of discipline younger believers at what being a mentor taught us about ourselves and God. Benefits of Being Mentored 1. Modeling is a powerful growth tool. - It's not a formula or something done “the right way” as the old saying goes, “more is caught than taught.” - You can learn a lot just from watching how someone else lives (raising their kids, how they speak to their spouse or strangers in public, etc.) - Philippians 3:17 2. Scripture connects to life. - By just living life with someone it can help you to connect the dots of scripture how to live a life following Christ. 3. There's a safety net for mistakes. - Others can give us a fresh, non-emotional perspective on our lives, and big decisions we might be trying to make. - Acts 20:35 Benefits of Being A Mentor 1. It holds back a hard heart. - It can be easy to become jaded when living a life of service and feeling like what you do doesn't make a difference. Seeing young, hungry, vibrant faith can at times awaken our spiritual stupor. - Psalm 51:12 2. You get to watch sanctification up close. - Miracles still happen. God calls dead people to life and infants of faith into deeper waters. Watching the sweeping movements of the Spirit is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling aspects of the entire Christian faith. 3. Uncovers generational blind spots. - One of the stand out moments of T4G in 2018 was watching godly, established leaders of our faith publicly repent of racial discrimination. - Good, God-honoring people can blindly carry sin until there is a light to shine in the dark corners of our own hearts. As mentors, God can use a younger person in your life to expose your own wayward heart. 4. It reminds us of our role on this earth and keeps you humble. The ultimate reminder is: it's not about you. Want to be mentored and/or mentor someone? -Pray for a mentor and the just ask them to catch coffee or lunch or whatever on THEIR terms. -There is no right formula to do this. Just start trying to meet together and you both decide what would be best for you in your lives and time constraints. -Pray about someone you could pour into and then ask them if they are interested. I bet they will be! What We Are Loving This Week Daniel - The Trellis and the Vine by Colin Marshal and Tony Payne Heather - Native Deodorant (it's really that good!) At the height of the economic recession in 2009, Michael Brody-Waite quit his job at a Fortune 50 company to become an aspiring entrepreneur. Looking back now, he humbly admits, he had no idea what he was doing. "I know it says I'm CEO, but I had no idea how to be a CEO, how to run the business … We were creating an industry that had never been done before without any investors or advisors." But 16 years of sobriety and three powerful words - experience, strength and hope - gave Brody-Waite the unwavering will to push on. "For me, getting clean was the hardest thing that I ever did, and so I started saying, well, how did I do that? And I went back to those words. I needed to find experience, strength and hope as an entrepreneur." Six years later, his startup was bought by a publicly traded company. Brody-Waite is now the CEO of the Nashville EC, giving back to the very organization that helped him years ago. Only this time, he is offering his personal experiences as a mentor, his strengths navigating the often confusing community waters and a hope to better connect the local entrepreneur ecosystem. "In recovery, I was always taught you can't keep anything unless you give it away." Included in this episode are stories and perspectives from local entrepreneurs: LeShane Greenhill (Founder and CEO of Sagents and Sales Cocktail), Julia Polk (Chief Strategy Officer and CFO of IQuity) and Shawn Glinter (Founder and CEO of Pendant Biosciences). All three attribute their success to the mentorship they received, and today each pay it forward serving in a variety of mentor roles.
064 The One with the Youngest CWT Episode 64: Show Notes If you have ever listened to this show, you have heard me say “Be the best you can be by being the best in this industry.” You also have heard me say “make the industry better because you are in it.” So... are you? This was the reason I started this podcast. Scaling UP! H2O is my way of raising the bar in the water treatment industry. Based on the feedback I have received, I think we are doing that. And “we” was not a typo. The Scaling UP! Nation! Is what is doing the hard work, I just bought a microphone. One of the individuals I met as a result of this podcast is Chandler Mancuso. I don’t think it will take long in this interview for you to realize why I'm so impressed with him. He has done items that have been suggested in this podcast and is a great example of how to do your part at making the industry better. Enjoy... More about Chandler: Chandler’s career in water treatment began courtesy of a recommendation by his academic advisor while he was an undergraduate student at Oakland University. Since then, he has earned his Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and returned to his Alma mater in pursuit of a Master’s Degree in Chemistry. As Technical Coordinator of Plymouth Technology Inc., Chandler has gained valuable experience developing solutions for industrial consumers across the Midwest region in the areas of wastewater, boiler and cooling water treatment. If you truly want to find success beyond your own ruts inlife, you need to find a mentor or two. A mentor is simply someone who has gonewhere you want to be. Benefits of Having a Mentor The best way to ever “make your own path” as we like to sayat Beyond the Rut is to learn from the journeys of those who have gone beforeyou. Benefits of having a mentor include, but are not limited to the following:Learn from your mentor’s successesLearn from your mentor’s mistakesGain insights on the keys to success you don’tfind in a textbookGain insights into your own blind spotsAccountability for what you say you want toaccomplishEncouragement from someone who knows it can bedoneHow to Find a Mentor in BusinessThe number one piece of advice we can give you when it comesto finding a mentor in business is to stick with those who have a proven trackrecord in business. It may seem like we are stating the obvious, but you don’twant to take advice about business from someone who has never run a business. You don’t want advice about writing a book from someone who has never publishedanything. Some questions to ask yourself before you seek a mentor in businessmay be like the question below.Has the person been in the SAME business for anumber of years? Beware of charlatans who move from one business to anotherevery few months.Does the person have a positive reputation, especiallywhen it comes to character?Does this person’s journey line up with my own?Am I willing to authentically open up to thisperson?Am I willing to be held accountable to my owngoals and challenges? The answer to the above should be, yes, because they will bethe best mentors for you.Go Find a Mentor! The boldest move you can make is to go find a person whowill spend time to pour into you. Be ready to give that mentoring relationshipyour all if you do, otherwise you’re wasting the time of your mentor. The person you wish to mentor you directly may not beavailable. In that case, we recommend you either find another person who ishaving success and shows similar influence of the person your originallysought. In the meantime, absorb as much content as you can applyfrom those who inspire you. The best mentors know they cannot serve everyone ina mentoring relationship. Their books, podcasts, and other forms of media aremeant to make up for that. Take advantage of that first. Doing so will allowyou to take a mentor relationship to a deeper level if you get to that boldlevel. Consider Mentoring OthersWhile this episode is about finding a mentor, allow yourselfto be found as well. Mentoring benefits the mentor as much as it does the personbeing mentored. The deeper and more authentic a mentor relationship is the morea mentor can grow as well. Mentoring is also a great way to leave your mark inthis world through influencing other people you meet.Resources and LinksListen to Brandon share about Putting Things in Perspective After BypassSurgery – BtR 150Read this article from Huffpost,9Characteristics of a Good Mentoring Relationship by Rajesh SettyRead this article from ForbesMagazine, 5Ways to Get the Most Out of Mentor Relationship by Ashira ProssackAlso from Forbes Magazine,8Tips for an Amazing Mentor Relationship by Laurence BradfordConnect with UsSubscribe on iTunes, Stitcher,or iHeartRadio and never miss an episode.Twitter @beyondtherutFacebook Beyond the RutEmail info@beyondtherut.com

This week Blasko and Mike dissect Paul Resnikoff's article “The Young Persons Guide to Getting Into The Music Industry” via Digital Music News. #1. Meet Anyone and Everyone You Can In This Business. Before you're desperate for a job, before your loans are due, and before you need something from people, it's critical to start meeting people who are actually working in the industry. You will be investing heavily in your future network, one that will pay very rich dividends down the line. So take a bus, ride your bike, take a Southwest flight, or just Skype it if you must, but get in front of as many people that are willing to chat. #2. Mentally Prepare Yourself for How Extremely Difficult This Business Is. This is an industry in extreme flux, and one that has seen a massive pie-shrink over the past 15 years. But that doesn't meant there aren't jobs and opportunities. It also doesn't mean you shouldn't accept the challenge, simply that you should consider your risk appetite and ability to stomach extreme uncertainty. #3. Chart Your Course, But Avoid the Obvious Choices. If you want a job at Spotify, fine. But understand that everybody wants a job at Spotify, and Apple Music, and Shazam, and SoundCloud. These are fun, hip, and connected environments that will impress your friends, but not if you can't get in. Do a little extra homework, and you'll find all sorts of less obvious opportunities, which means less competition and greater chance for advancement once inside. #4. Read Everything. Of course, read Digital Music News everyday! But also read everything else you can access, including publications and sites covering industry, music, culture, scenes, whatever. #5. Try to Get Real Industry Experience, Paid or Unpaid. There's a huge amount of debate over whether unpaid internships are worth it (or even ethical). If you're slaving away on errands and busy work without meeting anyone or learning anything, then you're definitely wasting your time. But usually that's not the case, especially if you're taking initiative and getting college credit. #6. Develop a Mentor Relationship. So, how to you find a great, life-changing mentor? Oftentimes universities have mentor programs, though you can also seek them out as you expand your professional relationships. Typically there's something you have in common, especially if you're in the same field. In the best case scenario, you have a great friend and ally in the professional world and beyond. #7. Learn How to Interview Like a Rockstar. For starters, get the basics straight or you won't even be considered. Resumes need to perfect and polished, cover letters triple-checked and polished. Also, double-check all of your social media accounts, and either shut down accounts or make them private. Some people don't care about some risqué pictures, other people totally care. Then, make sure you survive quick online checks like a search on Google. After that, you need to start learning how to interview effectively, because like test-taking, successful interviewing is part talent, part learned. Learn the most typically-asked questions, determine how to present yourself most effectively, and practice techniques for relaxing if you get nervous.
