Wellness + Wisdom | Episode 698 How does the pro-blame bias influence our thinking and judgment? Cory Clark, Behavioral Scientist, joins Josh Trent on the Wellness + Wisdom Podcast, episode 698, to unpack why we shouldn't fully trust science, how victim mentality creates a dysfunctional dynamic, the dangers of social media-fueled tribalism, and how self-awareness, courage, and meaningful conflict can transform the way we create an honest connection with others in today's world. "When you have people who identify strongly with a political in-group on the left or right, they start to become very afraid of contradicting beliefs that are strongly held by their in-group based on the fear of being ostracized. Our brains evolved to be averse, trying to avoid anything that could get us ostracized from our social group. So we're giving so much power to the extremists within our own group when most of the time, they're not the people to be listening to." - Cory Clark

Born George O'Dowd, Boy George shot to pop stardom in 1982 as frontman with the band Culture Club and later as a solo artist. With his soulful vocals and flamboyant, androgynous looks, he became a massive star around the world with hits such as Do You Really Want to Hurt Me? and Karma Chameleon. His personal struggles with drug addiction and a prison sentence in 2009 meant he was rarely far from tabloid headlines. In recent years he's been a judge on The Voice, survived the jungle in I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, and has just published a new memoir called Karma. He continues to record and perform as a prolific solo singer songwriter. George discusses the impact that David Bowie had on him as a teenager and recalls seeing him at the Lewisham Odeon during the Ziggy Stardust tour of 1973. He also talks about the important influence of club promoter Philip Sallon who introduced him to London's gay scene in the late 1970s. Meeting Quentin Crisp in New York with Andy Warhol was also a formative cultural moment. George talks to John Wilson candidly about coping with fame and rebuilding his life after addiction and prison. Producer: Edwina Pitman

Around this time last year, we had the distinct pleasure of speaking to musician, author, theologian, and all around wonderful person, Julian Davis Reid. Next week, October 13 and 14 in Vancouver, BC, we are having an in-person conference around the theme of vocation and rest and Julian is our keynote speaker. In honour of that we thought we'd replay this episode from last season. If you're in the Vancouver area and would like to attend, there is still time to register. You can check out the Rector's Cupboard social pages or click here.  Original episode notes: In so many ways, we often feel ground down, in the words of this episode's guest, “disintegrated.” Julian Davis Reid speaks to us about rest. This is more and better than simply disengagement or a break from the grind; rest is an essential part of what it means to be human, in the image of God. Julian starts from a recognition of the profound restlessness that marks much of our lives and moves us towards the promise of the final and complete resting in God. Along the way, we talk about what theology and aesthetics, music and culture have to do with rest. We hold on to the promise that we might know rest, rest for our soul. Julian's website has links to all his music, both his solo work and  work with the JuJu Exchange, his retreat work, as well as his newsletter where you can get more of his thoughts on rest. Do You Really Want to Lead? Making the leap to leadership can be one of the most rewarding--and challenging--moves we can make. And I'm excited in this episode to bring you what I think is the best guide I've come across to date on how to make that jump. Adam Bryant joins us to talk about his new book The Leap to Leader: How Ambitious Managers Make the Jump to Leadership. In this episode, you'll learn the first question you should be asking about leadership--and why it's important. Adam shares a practical tool he calls a Leadership User Manual--I'm telling you, you're going to want to create one of these after listening to this. He discusses why a career pyramid might be a better metaphor than a ladder. Along the way you'll hear why you should learn to merge into traffic and go play in the traffic! And why some of the most valuable leadership lessons are playing out before your eyes every day. It's a conversation I can't wait to share with you. Learn more about Adam and his book at AdamBryantBooks.com/the-leap-to-leader/. For more episodes related to this topic, check out: Episode 360, with Janet Polach about her book The Seven Mistakes New Managers Make. Do you know someone who is in college or maybe recently graduated? My experience is there are a growing number of people who dread being asked the question, “So, what's the plan?” When it comes to their career, they have no freaking idea! I bring this up because we're rolling out a new course entitled just that: No Freaking Idea: How to Navigate Career Uncertaity. It's a career guide for people who don't know what they want to do, and it has been so fun to hear the feedback on the course. In so many ways, we often feel ground down, in the words of this episode's guest, “disintegrated.” Julian Davis Reid speaks to us about rest. Do You Really Want External Happiness? Do You Really Want to Be a Disciple? In today's Gospel, Jesus tells us who can be His disciples . . . who can follow Him. The Gospel begins with a great crowd following Jesus. Jesus at times in scripture leaves a message for the entire world. In this case the message was directed to the crowd following Him . . . who have been moving with Jesus. This crowd has been growing in numbers . . . and Jesus addresses this crowd saying now you are ready for what I have to say to you. The Gospel teaches us . . . who is my disciple? A disciple is a follower. What does it really mean to be a follower of Jesus? What does it mean to be a disciple? Jesus tells us. Hear more in the Homily. Part of discipleship requires a personal investment of oneself. If you want to be the Lord's disciple, you must choose a way. Hear more about what it means to be a true disciple and follower of Jesus.

Show Notes   Do You Really Want to Change?   Believe it or not, it is not only possible, but quite common for someone to consciously convince themselves that they want change in their life, but subconsciously put all their effort into keeping everything exactly the same as it is right now.   They even go through all the motions of starting a new project, enlist help, buying software, having a website built, creating all kinds of marketing text and tools, only to consistently find some insurmountable challenge when it gets close to a start date that prevents them from following through.   Why would anyone do that?   Fear   Fear is the prime reason that most people don't follow through.   Fear of what? Fear of success Fear of failure Fear of what others might think, say, or do Or all of the above   They are unhappy, unmotivated, and unfulfilled. They know exactly what they need to do, but never manage to get it done. They are often solitary individuals who have lots of friends and contacts, but, in reality, they live their life almost entirely in their own heads.   This vicious circle of starting and then stopping, over and over again, can cause them to have low confidence, low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression, which reinforces their overwhelming desire to keep everything the same, no matter how good a new future might look.   Does this scenario describe you? If so, what can you do about it?   Is There a Solution?   One of the best ways to break this pattern is to help someone less fortunate than yourself. Perhaps try charitable work or something similar, where people depend on your help, energy, and support, and you know it.   In this charitable work, consider how you have responsibility to others where you cannot possibly let down those who depend on you. That way, you are not working for your own personal rewards, but for someone who cannot possibly fulfil their ambitions on their own.   The feeling you get from helping others is so strong, so compelling, that your personal anxiety diminishes and your self-esteem rises in direct proportion to each other.   You'll enjoy strong feelings of accomplishment and, in turn, fulfilment. You'll find yourself in a place of happiness that you've never experienced before, and you really like it.   Make a Decision and Take Action   Through practical experience, you'll come to realize that when you make a decision and take action, you move forward. You'll recognize that you only have one life, and you can live it best and most fully by making decisions and taking action.   You'll also acknowledge that doing things for someone else allows you to fully engage your talents in a way that you could never have experienced while just working for yourself.   When you find purpose in all that you do, you will also realize that the fear evaporated long ago, and now you can actually feel a sense of pride in your work that was never there before.   Through helping others, you'll come to understand that it doesn't even matter if you make a wrong decision or take a wrong action. You can always make another decision and take another action and correct it.   The most important thing is that you keep making decisions and taking action. It's the only way to effect change in anything.   The biggest changes will be the ones you experience yourself, but it may still take others to point them out. You are so talented, and you have no idea how gifted you really are, until you see other peoples' lives improved because of your actions.   That's when you'll get to see your true, authentic self show up in your smile as you look forward to finally being able to start creating the future you desire.

SUPPORT ME ON PATREON WATCH MUSIC is not a GENRE VIDEOS and MORE This week is all about country music, so I thought I'd discuss one of my top ten favorite bands of all time: Violent Femmes. Yes, that's right. The Femmes. And country music. They link. Seriously. Read on, and then go listen to the three albums I'm featuring this week, and it'll hit you like a pickup truck on fire. Those of you who know anything about the Femmes probably only know the big party hits from their debut 1983 self-titled album, like “Blister in the Sun” or “Add It Up”. That album was a blast of acoustic punk that launched the Femmes as one more post-punk band rewriting the rules of the genre. And if that's how you know them, then there are at least three things you probably don't know: 1. Their highest charting single was “American Music” from 1991's Why Do Birds Sing? (Which also had an awesome cover of Culture Club's “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?”) 2. They are still around, and in fact released their latest album just last year, which sounds a fuckload like their early stuff. 3. They went through a country music phase. For realz. Their 2nd, 3rd& 4th albums were predominantly country. You could call it alt country (before the term existed), southern gothic, freak folk, country rock or folk punk. Point is, it ain't just acoustic punk. Listen to almost anything from Hallowed Ground, The Blind Leading the Naked, or 3, and you're going to hear country music. “Country Death Song”, “Jesus Walking on the Water”. “Old Mother Reagan”, “Breakin' Hearts”, “Cold Canyon”. “Fat”, “Lies”. Straight-up country twang, y'all. Not that that's all they did, then or ever. But the fact that they went there in their own special way – that fucking rocks. The Femmes have sunk so deep into my subconscious that it's hard to pinpoint how they've influenced me. There's a chance that – like with the Beatles or Prince – their influence is somewhere in every song I've ever written. Throwing in a rogue lyric here & there to keep things honest & fresh. A vocal delivery that runs the range from whispery to strident to plaintive to balls out abrasive, but always with emotion. Unafraid to get negative but still keep it popping. There are so many songs I can use as an example, but DUH I have to go with the one that was named after possibly my favorite Femmes song (from Hallowed Ground): REC - “Never Tell” (from the album Distance To Empty) Listen to the Femmes' “Never Tell” too and see if you can find any parallels. What songs of the Femmes do you know and/or love? Does this make you want to go deeper into their catalogue? Do you prefer straight-up country music? Or do you hate it all? Discuss dammit! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/nick-dematteo/support

Some have lost their homes and instruments and are having a challenging time making financial ends meet. Musicians need these jobs to feed their families and pay their bills, but most are unable to work. We believe that doing something is better than doing nothing, so we have decided to start a live online, streaming, 50-minute concert series called iTA Studio Streams to help some of these incredible musicians. iTA Studio Streams will feature some of Nashville's local musical heroes playing live and taking a few questions for an online-only audience. Donations are encouraged and can be made via PayPal and Venmo during, as well as after, the performance. No amount is too large to donate and 100% of your generosity goes DIRECTLY to the artists. We thank you!!!

The value of owning a second home can be very rewarding, fun, and tempting. You can buy it in your own city or that vacation spot you are longing for. It can also be a bad idea to purchase a new home. Today's episode talks about Tom Sightings article on Do You Really Want to Own a Second Home? and it details the pros and cons of owning a second home. It could be a great investment or it could become a drain on your retirement finances. The Need for a Second Home? My co-host for this episode Kathy Gottberg lives in the Palm Springs area of Southern California. It is also a dessert but not as humid as South Carolina where I live and the weather in Palm Springs is about 115 degrees. But instead of being there experiencing that heat, she stays in a mountain cabin that she and her husband rent every summer for a month. They’ve been doing it for 23 years. That is why they always get the question of why don’t you buy a second home because you go there every summer for a month? People may not realize the downside of buying a second home. Also, coming from a real estate background, Kathy has two thoughts on that. One is people got into homes that they honestly could not afford. They were bigger, fancier, more expensive than they could afford. That was a huge portion of what happened with the housing crisis. Banks were not helpful at all; they were making money, and they gave loans to people that they should never have given them to. So, what is the value of owning another home? Renting Can Be Another Choice In certain cases, rather than buy a home that you can’t afford, renting is probably a better choice. But if you’re like Kathy, just like what she said in the last episode, she and her husband bought rightsize, so they bought a smaller home, free and clear, and they made it as energy efficient as possible. They don’t have HOA dues, and their utilities taxes, insurance, and everything is less than $300 a month. The value of having a home is good security for seniors to know that they’ll have a place that they can live but the problem is that if you’re barely making it now in your home and you have a huge mortgage, that will go on for another 30 or 40 years, and you're in your advanced age. It will not be a rocket science to figure out that that will not work, that’s a recipe for disaster. Value of Owning a Second Home The value of having another property is that you can use the property whenever you want, which is true. It’s so tempting to think you can go over the mountains where your property is and use that property. But the downside to it is how often are you going to use that property because life gets in the way. Before you know, you got a thousand of things on the plate and you can’t get to it. Also, you’re tied to go to that one place rather than having the freedom to go to other places that you haven’t gone to. Though there are many people who like to travel, there are also many people that are home buddies. Many people are just happy staying home. And even though if they’ll have a second home, Kathy doesn’t think they’d be excited about going to that second home because they just want to stay home. That is because they have the value of having a life, a family, and experiences right where they are. Buying a second home won’t make them happy either, and they won't have the value of it. RVs and Boats I have friends that travel and they literally live in an RV. But there are also people that I know that buy an RV and then it just sits in the yard and they never use it. These things are so expensive, we’re not talking about the price of a car; we’re talking about six figures for these RVs. Kathy and her husband borrowed an RV from her parents and w...

I am super excited for you to listen to this episode of the love story series (sponsored by my book It’s a Love Story! (On sale now!) Today I host fellow bachelor recapper, podcaster, and author KNOX McCOY as we discuss The Wedding Singer. Thanks to our mutual friend Melanie Shankle, I started following Knox’s podcast THE POPCAST a few years ago and I haven’t turned back. If you love pop culture, you will love the show he hosts with his business partner Jamie Golden.  And his book, The Wondering Years, is one of my latest greatest favorite books. I have links to all the things down below, so make sure to check it all out or just go to knoxmccoy.com and dig around. Oh, and sign up for his newsletter. Trust me. This week we discuss The Wedding Singer. Now I need to disclaim three things before you listen: I beat my desk in that way when you are laughing and you might slap your knee. I did that. Several times. Which brings me to number two:I laugh. I laugh a lot. I also laughed so much during this interview that I had to cut it in half because of time restraints. And finally, in the podcast when we talk about George (who is part of the wedding band) singing the song “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me.” Except I say, “Do you really want to LOVE me." I need  you to know that I know I was in the wrong. I just have love on the brain. The Wedding Singer is a stellar piece of pop culture as a movie, as well as a soundtrack. Both give you life. Why do I state that claim so boldly?  Just listen to this movie synopsis:  Set in 1985, Adam Sandler plays a nice guy with a broken heart who's stuck in one of the most romantic jobs in the world, a wedding singer. He loses all hope when he is abandoned at the altar by his fiancé (LINDA…). He meets a young woman named Julia (Drew Barrymore), who enlists his help to plan her wedding. He falls in love with her and must win her over before she gets married. The Wedding Singer taught us many things. For example, if you are going through a breakup, try writing a song about it or have the mutants at table 29 help you proclaim LOVE STINKS in front of the entire wedding party. Fingerless gloves never go out of style (is that just me?) and Deloreans are cool no matter the decade.   But most of all, we learned not to let anyone wear our Van Halen t-shirts lest they jinx the band and they break up. This phenomenon may transcend time. That’s why my Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake concert tees are safe and sound in a secured lock box under my bed. You can never be too safe.  EPISODE NOTES All things Knox McCoy: The Popcast PodcastThe Bible Binge PodcastThe Wondering Years Here’s the trailer for The Wedding Singer. The Thing About Unsolvable Problems... Everyone, sooner or later, gets stuck with a chronic, repeating, or “incurable” health condition for which there is no known cure. (And incurable symptoms happen not just in our bodies but in other aspects of our lives as well) Underlying any condition that we believe we've "tried everything" to fix is not an incurable condition but another, deeper belief. That's a belief in the status quo. A belief that your outcome - your current state - is a result of statistics. A belief that you are a statistic. How can you know that this is the case? Because you and I live in a society that dismisses the outliers for being "abnormal" and irrelevant. Outliers like the 10% (or more) of lung cancer patients who survive and recover. The people with Down syndrome who have above-average IQ's. The women who have remained fertile into their 50's. These kinds of anomalies are thought to be the exceptions that "prove" the rules. You're not encouraged to try to be one of these (because that would be giving you false hope). So it's normal, when you want to make a change, to try all the standard approaches first. Not that it will lead to those amazing (but anomalous) results you really want ...but it's what everyone does. The Danger of the Easy-Button While we wait for the outside-in solution, we’re not doing what we actually need to do to heal. We're too busy doing the "normal" things instead, and that's a big part of why the statistics are the way they are. Following the usual options, following the norm, puts our focus on trying to be normal, instead of on resolving the symptom at its source. While we wait for the outside-in solution, we decrease the likelihood of healing. Screw the Status Quo To truly heal, you have to learn a new skill, something that you currently are very bad at. Plus, there are obstacles in the way of you learning this new skill. But this new skill - a skill most people in your situation never even bother to look for because they're looking for the silver bullet instead - is how you will heal. Listen to Episode 12 of the Mind Over Symptom Podcast, "Do You Really Want to Heal?" to learn how to overcome the 3 obstacles preventing you from having the healing you desire. 我雖然不是他,Boy George的鐵粉絲,但是一個七十年代生長起來,對於八十年代中的流行音樂略知一二,也在中學時期偷偷去過的士高的我,Boy George和他領隊的Culture Club是忘懷不了的。但是在2013年,童子正式宣佈回歸,全新錄音室大碟This Is What I Do在2014年正式發行。 This Is What I Do從封套到內裡都是讓人愛不惜手,不再扮女人樣子更加使我加了不少分數:禮帽,鬍子,湖水藍的西裝讓人耳目一新,老實說,我都不能太接受那太濃妝艷抹的打扮,這次做回自己的他讓所有人都覺得舒服。舒服的還有當中的12首全新的作品。熟口熟面的感覺,可能是因為有長期合作夥伴的支持:John Themis, Kevan Frost and Richie Stevens. 雖然編曲注入了很多時代感,但是很容易聞到昔日他或者Culture Club的味道。隨著英國衛報評之為年度最佳回歸大碟,This Is What I Do是Boy George自1987年的首張個人大碟Sold後能夠再次重返英國四十大的最佳成績了。對了,不知道你們有沒有和我一樣的習慣,都喜歡把唱片的內頁翻來覆去的閱讀,這張請跳過內裡Boy George的照片吧,我以為放錯了Billy Joel的呢。Songlist - King of Everything, Do You Really Want to Hurt Me, Karma Chameleon, Love is Love, Everything I Own, Nice and Slow, Bigger than War, My God, The Crying Game, Move Away, Any Road.

Falling Rain - Celebrate the Nun   Notes and other random things: You might be wondering what's up with the cake pic. Well, considering it says Happy Birthday it should be pretty obvious: it's almost Memorial Day here in the U.S. That has nothing to do with the cake, but I just thought I'd point that out. Really, it occurred to me this week that at the time of my last podcast it was almost exactly one year ago that I began CRC. One year ... hard to believe that much time has elapsed. It seems like just yesterday that today was called tomorrow. You know what they say about time ... that's it's lost a pretty big market share to Newsweek over the past decade. Really though, it apparently sprouts wings and floats about when you're having fun. And doing this show has been a blast thus far. Sure, it took awhile to get the recording process down. And it takes effort to try to come up with totally fresh episodes each week. And sometimes my joints ache when the weather is bad. That last one has nothing to do with the podcast, but it shows you my dedication and the lengths I'll go to get some great music to you, my listeners. And speaking of listeners, had anyone told me when I started this thing that a guy with a cheap mixer, sizeable retro music collection, faulty joints, inability to do short write-ups and a dream could record a retro mix 'cast from his media room in Charlotte, NC and be listened to in 71 countries around the globe, I would have told them I'm hungry. But after I got some food, I would have said that he or she was crazy. I want to personally thank each and every one of you for sticking with me this far, but that would take an awfully long time, so I'll just have to do it in this mass message. I hope you'll continue to come along for the ride for as long as I'm willing and able to do this podcast. How long will that be? Well, I admit I can't see into the future ... at least not very far. I do know I will be having a bowl of Lucky Charms at some point in the next half-hour, but other than that, my powers of saying sooth are not all that good. But, with a little luck, some effort on my part to shirk my other responsibilities, and a good comb I hope I'll be celebrating a second anniversary with you all around this time next year. I think I'm going to skip the band write-ups for this week, though I may cover one or two of these bands over the weekend, since they are making their first appearances on CRC. I just had so much else to write and the pink hearts, yellow moons, orange stars, green clovers and blue diamonds are calling my name. Oh, and I'm about to go get a bowl of Lucky Charms too.  Cheers to all of you and thank you so much for listening! You all are the best!       Addendum: I mentioned that I would probably write a bit about some of the bands in this episode because they made their first appearances in CRC. Well, here it is! I'll start with Culture Club. Now, you'd have to be very, very young or living in a very remote cave not to know or have heard about Boy George. Granted, those of you who are very young may only remember images of George O'Dowd in an orange jumpsuit sweeping up rubbish on the streets of New York as part of a community service arrangement in regard to drug charges and a false burglary charge. Many of you will remember the crazy outfits and androgynous appearance of the flamboyant lead singer during the group's heyday. What you may not know, aside from the handful of singles and MTV success in the mid-80s, is that the band were really a talented collective of musicians and had a lot of soul about them. The track here, White Boy, is evidence of that. The song was the first single released by the band, though it  was a commercial disappointment despite heavy radio play. That fact doesn't make it any less amazing or addictive. As the story goes, Jon Moss, the drummer of the band, paid a visit to producer Steve Levine and John Howard in 1982 with a demo tape of three songs, including White Boy. Howard immediately pinpointed the track as the standout of the bunch and it was released three months later. If you've ever heard any of CC's early work, you would agree that the track has something about it ... a groove, a lyrical smoothness, a catchy chant-type chorus ala Nitzer Ebb's Join in the Chant - something that sets it apart. So, it was a bit of a shock that the track didn't do better upon its release. A second single, I'm Afraid of Me, was received even more poorly than the first. However, it was the appearance of graffiti on walls around London, stuff like "Culture Club Rule OK" that convinced Howard there was something abuzz about the band. Howard had seen the same thing a year or two earlier with Adam Ant on the heels of a few of their disappointing first singles. The CC camp felt that they just needed to release the "right track" and the dominoes would all fall into place. Interestingly enough, that track would end up being Do You Really Want to Hurt Me, interesting because it was originally added to the their first album Kissing to be Clever as filler material. Crazy how things work sometimes.  T42 have appeared on CRC once before, the Thanksgiving episode to be precise, but I have to give a shout out to these guys from Texas as they were one of many Dallas/Ft. Worth bands on the rise during my college days. Jay Gillian and Will Loconto were the prime movers of this duo and they released a handful of catchy, electronic jingles that can still motivate dance floors today. The song here, Desire, was produced by Paul Robb from Information Society and became their biggest hit. I vaguely recall going to a record release party for the song. Seems like they played the track just about every hour or half hour in support and while that would seem like overkill, it's just not a song of which you can tire easily. It's one beautiful pop gem. I want to mention Cetu Javu briefly. If you recall, they are the German band of Spanish heritage who sang the bulk of their tracks in English. They also have appeared on CRC several times in the past, but the track here, Adonde, is an example of their Spanish-influenced electronic pop. The orignal version of the song appeared on the fantastic album Southern Lands. While you can still find the first issue of the album floating around, it was reissued a few years back. If you're a fan of electronic pop music, Southern Lands is a must-have. It's solid from start to finish and includes perhaps their two biggest hits, Situation, which appeared on CRC #1 and Have in Mind, which appeared on CRC #7.  Finally, I want to mention Elektric Music. If the studio wizardry and bizarre sampling seems remotely familiar then you are probably a Kraftwerk fan. Elektric Music is a not-so-side project of Karl Bartos, the percussionist portion of the classic four-man Kraftwerk lineup. The band was founded in 1992 when Bartos became a little frustrated at the tortoise-like pace Ralf Hutter and Florian Schneider, both founding members of Kraftwerk, had adopted in the studio. Their perfectionist tendencies spurred Bartos to branch out and do his own thing. The track here, Lifestyle, is the fourth track on EM's debut album, Esperanto. My favorite track, TV, which leads off the album is a song I'm dying to include in one of these episodes, but the BPMs are so low that it is going to be a bit of a challenge. Perhaps I'll figure out how to include it in one of my Mixtape episodes. Anyway, Bartos has worked closely with Bernard Sumner (vocalist from New Order) and Johnny Marr (former guitarist for The Smiths and The The), penning songs for the duo's Electronic project and their second full-length album, Raise the Pressure, which was released in 1996. Bartos has also worked with OMD's Andy McCluskey. Their collaborative efforts can be found on the OMD album Universal and on the songs Show Business and Kissing the Machine, both from Elektric Music's Esperanto album. For tech junkies, you might be interested to know that Karl Bartos released an iPhone app called Mini-Composer in March of this year. It's a rudimentary 16-steps sequencer with 4 basic waves synthesizer. It was designed with the help of Japanese artist Masayuki Akamatsu and executive producer Jean-Marc Lederman. Again, thanks to everyone for listening. I'll be back with another episode really soon. Hang tight!
