Podcast'in tam metnine ve kullandığım kaynaklara buradan ulaşabilirsiniz. LUMOST

Movie Pass and Sinemia are both effectively out of business. But in the process they taught the film theater industry that if you offer a deal, many will take advantage of it. The movie industry has faced stagnation and steady decline with fewer people going to movie theaters. AMC was the first to offer a subscription through Stubs A-List – around $20 month for 3 movies a week. Regal’s program is $18 - $24 per month – offers unlimited movies! Only subscribe if you’ll really use the subscription. Zombie debt reaches into the past to cause havoc in the present and future. Rogue collectors buy very old debt for a fraction of a penny on the dollar. Old debts can’t be sued against. But crooks in the industry are contacting people and conning them with trick offers. They suggest you pay $1 or another nominal sum to settle an old debt. BUT in many states, as soon as you do that, the debt is treated as new – and you can be sued against it again. You no longer have a statute of limitations protections. Never agree to any partial payment against an old debt. Nicole from Team Clark has a relative who got a pitch in a retail parking lot. Her sister-in-law was approached in a Kroger parking lot. The person noticed dents in her car and offered to fix them for $160 – far less than a body shop would charge. He said he had the equipment in his car, was off early – let her know he was a family man. Nicole's sister-in-law noticed his car was beat up, and politely declined. This scheme has been around at least 10 years. NEVER fall for a parking lot pitch to fix a car. Just say no. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

155 diyince, "wallah ararın 155'i diyesim geldi" Huawe'in kardeş markası HONOR var biliyorsunuz Böyle kardeşlik olur mu onu da çözemedim. KoçSistem’in girişimcilik platformu TechSquare, birinci yaşını “T-Day Yılın Girişimi Ödülleri” etkinliğiyle kutlamış. Yarışmada, makine öğrenimi odaklı veri analizi yaparak tahmin algoritmaları geliştiren Enhencer ekibi 100 bin TL’lik “T-Day Yılın Girişimi Ödülü”ne layık görülmüş. Finalist ekipler, KoçSistem’in ulusal ve uluslararası bilgi birikiminin yanı sıra Türkiye’nin en güçlü teknoloji ağından faydalanabilecekmiş. Koç Sistem'i en son 3 sene önce ziyaret etmiştim. Her ürünü her ülkeye satmaya çalışmak. Oneplus 7 serisinden bahsediyorum. Bend e heyecanla bekliyorum. Firma, 14 mayısta yeni telefonu New York'ta tanıtacak.

MoviePass was the first to launch the brilliant idea of offering unlimited movies for a low monthly price. Although, their problem was that they couldn't make the business model sustainable. Sinemia recognized their competitor's problems but took a more sustainable approach. So, I talked with Sinemia's founder and CEO, Rifat Oguz, about this innovative entertainment industry, his current success, and how his company plans to be the leader of this niche. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/reachingthefinishline/support

We had another MMO Interview, this one with Schmoedown Star Wars expert & champion Ken Napzok. Our first guest host joined us when we reviewed the new Pet Sematary with Ryan L. Terry. We also launched our Pixar series re-watch with our Toy Story episode, giving you the origin story of the company, breaking down the first rule of 22 in Pixar’s Rules of Storytelling, and all the heartbreaks & happiness we experienced along the way. These series will continue in the weeks to come with more guest hosts coming to our show, more MMO Interviews, and plenty more Pixar. We also had a tremendous week of Hollywood, Hollyweird, and Wrestlemania infused craziness to react to with the week that was. New trailers for Joker, Avengers: End Game, JT Leroy, Annabelle Comes Home, & The Dead Don’t Die dropped on our heads. The Avengers presales broke the internet, the Academy squared off with both Netflix AND the federal government, & there’s this fun event called Wrestlemania dominating the life of at least one of us. On the audience interaction front, we had some great questions for you again on Twitter, but we decided to feature perhaps your strongest responses yet to our latest #SixDegreesOfMMO. It was easily the most difficult week to choose a winner, and we hope you can match or beat the enthusiasm with our new challenge. We shared some personal stories & had plenty of fire in this ep. Also Mike shared his pizza eating experience at Sally’s of New Haven, Mike 1 recapped what happened at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremonies, & we had a lot of rage over the new development between Netflix and the Academy, especially when big brother arrived. As always, we also share a lot of info with our usual segments. The Mikes reviewed Bumblebee, Glass, Black Monday, Game of Thrones, E.T., CollegeHumor & Dropout’s Total Forgiveness, Arrested Development Season 5, Truth or Dare, My Friend Dahmer, & all the WWE Wrestlemania festivities including NXT’s big night. Of course, Mike 1 will weigh in on everything WWE on next week’s MMOW. So do stay tuned. Then we also previewed the massive number of releases coming to theaters featuring the Hellboy remake, & we recapped the Shazam! Fueled box office. As always, let us know what you think. Send those responses to #SixDegreesOfMMO & have fun with our twitter questions. We’re @MMandOscar on Twitter, and we are on Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, and Gmail. You can subscribe / rate / review / like / share / & listen to us on iTunes, Soundcloud, Stitcher, Google Play, Tune In, Spotify, and just about wherever you listen to podcasts. When reality sucks, keep watching movies with us. We’re Mike, Mike, & Oscar!

Some theaters called you ticket squattersWhile ArcLights sell $10 waters. You sold my data. And that’s okay.If it helped, I’d give you DNA.For all your gifts at such low cost,It’s better to have loved and lost.My eyes were open, my heart set free,To wonders that I might not see. You’re to thank and you’re to blameFor Lady Bird and Molly’s Game.So you who’d take it, defame, or mock itCome pry it from my cold, dead pocket. When the sky is red and brimstone rains,And four horsemen ride to eat our brains,Still I’ll stand on boiling sandMy MoviePass card still in hand. You’ll find me, demons, as you rove,Still checking showtimes at the Grove. If Cthulhu says “It stopped working, kid”Still I’ll smile that it ever did.

The intrigue surrounding the disappearance of Washington Post writer Jamal Khashoggi has deepened as reports say that Saudi officials are preparing a report to acknowledge his death was the result of an interrogation gone wrong, although that may be subject to change. Nahal Toosi, foreign affairs correspondent for Politico, will join us to walk through Khashoggi's mysterious disappearance and why this has set off a diplomatic feud between Saudi Arabia and Turkey and bipartisan uproar in Congress. Next, the fight for the future of TV is on and it will be taking the form of more subscription services. While people are increasingly moving away from traditional TV and getting settled in with the likes of Netflix, Amazon, and other subscription services, more companies are looking to distribute more video content through the internet. Sara Fischer, Media Reporter for Axios, joins us to talk about what's in store for the future of TV and who the major players are. Finally, as MoviePass continues its spiral down, one of its competitors is stepping up to help theater chains set up their own versions of subscription based film-going experiences. Movie-ticket subscription service Sinemia, is providing the technology for any theater to set up a subscription service and set up their own unique pricing plans for any style of movie showing. Jason Guerrasio, senior entertainment reporter at Business Insider, joins us for more options in the movie subscription game. Learn more about your ad-choices at https://www.iheartpodcastnetwork.com

Thanks to Kevin McLeodfor the music you hear on today’s episode. On the show this week @erfon / @lkahney / @lewiswallace i9 Macbook Pro - Apple's biggest RIPOFF! - erfon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSvfEhdNT4s&frags=pl%2Cwn YouTuber Max Yuryev pitted the 2.2Ghz and 2.6Ghz i7 MacBook Pros against the the 2.9GHz i9, and the results aren’t great. These are the tests I’ve been waiting for. in his Cinebench test, he found the i9 beat the i7 by only 2 percent, averaging only 3.15Ghz, while both the 2.2Ghz and 2.6Ghz i7’s both averaged 3.05 Ghz. And in test after test, he showed that the i9 rarely performs better than the 2.6Ghz i7. Why? It seems like it comes down to heat. Even with the patch, the MBP struggles to keep the i9 cool enough to keep it in turbo mode, and sometimes it’s even not cool enough to run at base clock. For example: In his Red Raven 4.5K Raw rendering test, he noticed that the 2.2Ghz i7 ran about 500Mhz over base clock speed, the 2.7 ran about 200Mhz over base, and the 2.9 ran about 500Mhz below base clock. He noted that the GPU and CPU use the same cooler, so if you’re pushing the GPU, like many rendering apps do, the CPU won’t be cooled as well, so can end up throttling more than you’d want. So what does all these mean? It doesn’t seem to make sense to pay extra for the i9. It matches or barely beats the 2.6Ghz in many tests, and sometimes can’t even beat the 2.2Ghz i7. A better value, and bigger a bottle neck in the 2018 MBP isn’t the CPU, it’s the GPU. The base MBP comes with a 555X Radeon GPU, whereas the premium 2.7Ghz i7 and 2.9Ghz i9 models come with a Radeon 560X, and that’s what made the biggest difference in his tests. My thoughts, go with the 2.7Ghz i7, the 560X GPU, and use the i9 money you save for extra SSD space. The biggest takeaways from Apple’s dominant Q3 earnings results https://www.cultofmac.com/566691/the-biggest-takeaways-from-apples-dominant-q3-earnings-results/ Apple beat Wall Street’s expectations today with its Q3 2018 earnings report, shooting its stock price just below the $204 price needed to mint it as the world’s first TRILLION dollar company. iPhone sales were up slightly year-over-year. Revenue was up big time. The ASP (average selling price) was also up big time. Even Apple’s EPS (earnings per share) was higher than some of the biggest Apple believers expected. When the iPhone X launched last year it was panned as too expensive by far too many critics, but Phone revenue was up 20% YOY. Wearable sales are up 60% year-over-year AirPods and Beats are also selling well. Combined with Apple Watch they’ve generated more than $10 billion in revenue in just the last year. TimCook also commented on Apple’s TV deal with Oprah, saying he “couldn’t be happier” that she’s on board. He also said there’d be “dramatic changes speeding up in the content industry,” and went on to say “We’re really happy to be working on something. We’re just not ready to talk about it in-depth today.” Apple sold only 3.72 Macs in its third quarter, less than any single quart since it’s Q3 of 2010. This may be because it’s entire Mac line was ancient until just weeks ago, in Q4, when MBP was updated. iPhone and iPad now make up 65% of Apple’s yearly revenue. The sad decline of MoviePass. Is it still worth it? https://www.nytimes.com/2018/07/31/movies/moviepass-timeline.html https://www.theverge.com/2018/7/31/17634508/moviepass-price-increase-limited-first-run-movie-access It was a year ago, in august of 2017, that MoviePass dropped their price to $9.95 a month. In the following two days, more than 150,000 new users signed up, crashing their website and app. Though AMC said MoviePass’s model could never work, they essentially created their own version of the service to compete. It’s $20 a month and their service includes digital reservations, iMax and 3D, and let’s you see the same movie more than once. Sinemia is another competitor that’s popped up. They offer a 2 movie a month plan for $10 a month that works with any theater, offers advanced ticket options, and works on 3D movies, IMAX, 4DX, and more.
You’ve probably heard of MoviePass, the subscription-based movie ticket service — yeah, the one having a lot of problems recently. Sinemia offers a similar ticket plan through their mobile app, but with a different business model. It’s not a household name yet in North America, but Sinemia’s expanded to Canada, Australia, the U.K. and now the U.S. Founder and CEO Rifat Oguz moved the company to Los Angeles last year, and he told us how he plans to make the movie subscription business work.
In this episode: -The last Halloween discussion until the film comes out. -Dale gives upon MoviePass and heads to Sinemia. -Several wrestlers died this past weekend. -Robert Englund pitches his idea for a Nightmare on Elm Street sequel.
In Episode 26 of 'It's Sho Time', Sho examines the new Canadian movie service, Sinemia (1:13), and also takes a look out west towards the San Diego Comic-Con (9:49). He also takes a look back a few years at the rebooted Ghostbusters (19:44) film and the reception it had upon its release. Afterwards, Sho tackles four films, which include The Rock's latest in Skyscraper (25:11), the gripping indie film Leave No Trace (33:32), Denzel Washington's Equalizer 2 (39:37), and the powerful social commentary within Sorry To Bother You (47:36).
Sinemia drops prices for its movie ticket subscriptions, which now start a $3.99 per month MoviePass competitor Sinemia is lowering prices on the already low-cost movie ticket subscription plans that it introduced earlier this year. Its monthly prices are being cut by $1 across-the-board. The cheapest plan now costs $3.99 per month, which gets you one standard movie ticket for that month. The priciest one, which covers three tickets (and includes 3D, 4D and IMAX screens), now costs $13.99 per month.
In Episode #11, our main topic is slashing your pet costs! We reveal easy ways to cut your spending on your critter's food, medicine, and toys. We also discuss some safety concerns about pet toys. (For more ways to save, check out our podcast Episode #7 on pet insurance and ways to cut vet bills). Plus: How to get a great deal on a car with fewer dealership hassles; new charges at MoviePass, and competing movie-theater subscription services worth a look; and an easy way to get money back when the price of something drops after you buy it!
After a rapid ascent, it's been a rough couple of months for MoviePass. And while last night's outage isn't exactly the end of the world for the theater subscription service, Friday night is the least the opportune moment for your service to crap the proverbial bed. That goes double now that competitors like AMC and Sinemia is pushing back hard. The company says it had the situation fully taken care of as of 9:30 ET last night.

Martin Developing ‘Ice Dragon' Film at WB, Laughing at Those Hoping to Ever Read ‘The Winds of Winter' Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is Going Full ‘Westworld' With Branching Narratives In The Mail Bag: Owen from Los Angeles writes in, “So I know there has been a lot of talk about this Wall Street Journal article that attributes 70% of the finished Solo film to Ron Howard and 30% to Lord & Miller but I thought it would be a really interesting discussion to dissect what that means. Sure Howard shot 70% of the actual film but he didn't cast the movie, do the Pre-Vis, hire the key crew (including DP) or set the look and style of the film. So is this film more Howard or Lord and Miller. I'd argue that Howard played with the toys that Lord and Miller left. I think this is an interesting discussion because I had the same feeling with Ant Man. In many ways that film is more squarely in Peyton's camp since he entirely directed the film but Edgar cast a lot of the key roles (if not all, right?), did all the pre-vis and set a lot of the style (ie costumes etc.) Also McKay set a lot of the comedic tone with the script before Peyton was onboard. So it's interesting in many ways to have such strong cooks in the kitchen. I think Ant Man benefited by all those collabs.I just think the amount of screen time one directed does not a movie make.” In Our Feature Presentation: Ron Howard Talks About the Unique Challenge of Making ‘Solo' [Interview] All the other stuff you need to know: You can find more about all the stories we mentioned on today's show at slashfilm.com, and linked inside the show notes. /Film Daily is published every weekday, bringing you the most exciting news from the world of movies and television as well as deeper dives into the great features from slashfilm.com. Everyone here at the Geek Vs podcast has MoviePass, and whenever we bring it up, we get a ton of questions about how does it work, and how do we like it, so we figured what better place to chat about it, then on the podcast. MoviePassis an American subscription-based movie ticketing service. Founded in 2011 and headquartered in New York City,[1]the service allows subscribers to purchase a single movie ticket per day for a flat subscription fee per month. The service utilizes a mobile app, where users check-intoa cinema and choose a film and showtime, which results in the cost of the ticket being loaded to a prepaid debit card, which is used to purchase the ticket from the cinema as usual.
