I have been an entrepreneur from 2012-2017 building two products AddoDoc and Babygogo. After selling my company to SHEROES, I and my partner Nansi decided to start up again. But we felt unequipped in our skillset in 2018 to build a large company. We had known 0-1 journeys from our startups but lacked the experience of building 1-10 journeys. Hence was born The Neon Show (Earlier 100x Entrepreneur) to learn from founders and investors, the mindset to scale yourself and your company. This quest still keeps us excited even after 5 years and doing 200+ episodes. We welcome you to our journey to understand what goes behind building a super successful company. "We're making it easier for carriers and large enterprises to interconnect and manage their networks Trevor Francis efficiently," says Trevor Francis, CEO and Founder of 46 Labs. In this Technology Reseller News podcast, Trevor Francis discusses 46 Labs' role as the "carrier's carrier" and how the company is leading the charge in simplifying global connectivity. From major acquisitions to AI-driven efficiency and the migration away from copper, he provides insights into what's ahead for telecom in 2025. "We acquired two legacy wireline companies last year, positioning us to accelerate network modernization," says Francis. What is 46 Labs? Connectivity Orchestration – 46 Labs helps resellers and large enterprises optimize their voice networks and streamline interconnections. Carrier's Carrier – Acting as the "train station" of telecom, the company enables seamless infrastructure and network management. Expanding Through Acquisitions – 46 Labs acquired Hyper-Q Networks and Impact in 2024, strengthening its wholesale telecom capabilities. Regulatory & Market Shifts in 2025 New FCC Leadership & Policy Changes – A more proactive approach may lead to easier wireline network modernization. M&A Resurgence – With previous stagnation in telecom mergers, Francis predicts more consolidation and transformation in the coming year. Satellite Connectivity Evolution – While LEO satellites (e.g., Starlink) improve rural access, they won't disrupt terrestrial wireless networks. Copper Migration: The Death of Copper at the Core A Massive Industry Challenge – Legacy PSTN networks still rely on copper interconnects between carriers. Enterprise Migration vs. Carrier Migration – While businesses transition to VoIP, carriers must overhaul the underlying infrastructure. Regulatory & Technical Barriers – The shift requires compliance with state and federal rules, plus retraining a workforce where institutional knowledge is fading. "We're tackling one of the biggest challenges in telecom—migrating carriers away from copper while ensuring stability and compliance," says Francis. AI's Role in Telecom: Efficiency, Not Disruption AI will make carriers more efficient, but adoption will be slow due to regulatory concerns and potential service disruptions. Risk vs. Reward – AI-driven automation must be implemented cautiously to avoid major failures in carrier networks. Fifth Industrial Revolution – The telecom sector must balance innovation with reliability. "AI adoption in telecom will take time—it's too risky to disrupt carrier operations overnight," says Francis. Network-as-a-Service: The New Carrier Model Traditional Carrier Model is Fading – Carriers are moving away from fully owning infrastructure. Managed Services & "As-a-Service" Offerings – 46 Labs provides turnkey network solutions, allowing carriers to outsource complex network transitions. Security Considerations – With increased IP-based connectivity, security threats rise, requiring encryption and network segmentation strategies. What's Ahead for Large Enterprises? The move away from copper is a global trend, impacting large enterprises, airlines, and pharmaceutical companies. International Voice Connectivity – Enterprises must take a holistic approach to voice and telecom strategies. Regulatory & Compliance Needs – Navigating global carrier relationships requires expertise in regulations and connectivity management. "Enterprises need a comprehensive strategy for handling voice and connectivity across all divisions," says Francis. Check out the latest episode of our Conversational Selling podcast to learn more about Manuj. In this episode, Nancy and Manuj discuss the following:Manuj's background in technology and AIThe concept of data being the new oil and AI being the new engineHow AI can be both beneficial and potentially harmful, depending on its useThe overlap between technology and human psychologyThe need for businesses to embrace technology, particularly AI, to stay competitiveKey Takeaways: Data can now be converted into dollars. You can create powerful solutions once you understand how to utilize data and use AI to crunch big numbers.AI is a tool to help you be creative faster. We are entering a vast new era of a new way of doing work. Every company is going to be a technology company moving forward. "The world always values useful resources. So, we consume oil. That's a very valuable resource. We consume food. All kinds of materials that we consume are resources. And people who own that resource can charge money for it. Now, if you look at platforms like Facebook or Twitter, they are, or even Google, giving away everything for free. You can use most of the Google products for free, Facebook for free, and Twitter for free. So, how are these companies making so much money? Yeah, by advertising based on the data that they collect on you." – MANUJ"Yeah, every business grows based on a few factors. One is whether they have a great team managing the business. Another one is whether they have good brand credibility in the market. Another one is whether customers are coming in regularly into their storefront or what have you. All of these take a massive amount of skill and energy. You need to find trained people, experienced people. But imagine if you could use AI to supplement their capabilities. So, let's say if you have a team of five people and use AI to double their productivity in the next 30 days, right? That means your business will grow double within the next 30 days." – MANUJ"See, the thing is that AI is analyzing data and recognizing patterns in that data. So, our world is complex. So, I'll give you an example. So, let's say a child, a 10-year-old child, touches a hot stove. They will know that they shouldn't touch it next time because it will hurt. So, our mind has learned one data point. And it has become intelligent now that this is the wrong action to take. But let's say that child is in the middle of Antarctica, and they are wearing heat-resistant gloves, and it's really chilly out there. And now they touch the stove, it will feel warm and pleasant, not hot. So now their mind is learning that, OK, even there are variations of this situation. So, if the parameters are correct, it may be OK to touch the hot stove. Right? Yeah, so our mind collects this data and then understands these patterns. But let's say extrapolate that to large problems like climate change or finding a cure for cancer or anything like that. There are millions and millions of parameters involved in that." – MANUJ Connect with Manuj Aggarwal:LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/manujaggarwal/Personal: https://manujaggarwal.com/TetraNoodle:https://tetranoodle.com/Try Our Proven, 3-Step System, Guaranteeing Accountability and Transparency that Drives RESULTS by clicking on this link: https://oneofakindsales.com/call-center-in-a-box/ Connect with Nancy Calabrese: Twitter:https://twitter.com/oneofakindsalesFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/One-Of-A-Kind-Sales-304978633264832/Website:https://oneofakindsales.comPhone: 908-879-2911 LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ncalabrese/Email: leads@oneofakindsales.com

In this episode, we talk about what she studied in school, her childhood traveling across the globe with her family, and how she defines “success” today. Born in the United Kingdom and raised in Norway and Indonesia, Vidhi studied economics and chemistry at the University of Pennsylvania and was awarded her MBA in marketing and management from Columbia University. While originally thinking she might go to medical school, she ultimately fell in love with marketing and the problem-solving that comes with the field. Vidhi reflects on achieving a healthy balance between work and family and stresses the importance of maintaining ownership of one’s calendar and time. She shares what she would tell her younger self regarding the definition of success, which country she would move to, and why she firmly believes that work is a facet, but not a defining characteristic, of her life. “You don’t have to run the rat race,” she says. “Just be who you are.”

Salesforce can be tough as nails when it comes to their contract negotiations. As part of their goal to reach $20 billion in revenue by 2022, Salesforce is unrelenting and tends to dictate terms rather than concede to their customer’s needs. If this sounds bleak, one thing to remember is that Salesforce makes the rules, and thus has the ability to bend them. Knowing what they are willing to bend, and by how much, is critical to your negotiation.

It may not come as a surprise that many companies use Microsoft Excel for their business's budgeting, planning, and reporting needs. However, the limitations of the Excel program mean that it may not always be the best tool for the job, especially once businesses reach a certain level of complexity. Furthermore, this particular industry is dominated by a handful of companies that have begun to replace Excel. Vena Solutions aims to change all of this with their software solutions. Based on Excel, but with added functionality of the cloud, the ability to audit changes and decisions that are made, as well as other features, businesses can leverage Excel as a window into their information databases–keeping all the parts of Excel that work for them, and providing solutions for Excel's natural limitations. 7 years of Research and Development went into making this product, and Don shares some of the more surprising insights that they have learned and used to improve their products. Don also discusses what he sees as the future of data aggregation and predictive analysis. For more information, visit www.venasolutions.com.
