They lay out the top 10 things every candidate should be doing before shipping: fitness, water confidence, rucking, mindset, nutrition, recovery, ego control, recruiters, and avoiding the dumb mistakes that shut doors forever. No hype. No shortcuts. Just volume, discipline, and doing the boring things consistently. They also hit bonus topics like zone two running, caffeine addiction, relationships that derail candidates, and why “natural talent” is usually a liability. Listening to the wisdom of the body and healing thyself is the ultimate flex. Not your peptide and supplement stack. In an era of every biohacker selling their supplements and peptide stack, every integrative and regular physician flogging their HRT and TRT, I'm not even remotely interested in their offerings. What's always fascinated me, is the idea that I can source this healing power from within.Taking a pill or a drug? Not a flex, in my world. It's the opposite—dependency and a cop-out.The sales pitch that you need a medication, supplement or machine in order to feel good, forever and ever—and you can't ever be without it?This is the ultimate snake oil.I'm inspired by the notion that we have the power to heal ourselves.Everyone can.THIS is the true flex in my world and in Anami Land: Connecting with our own bodies and highest wisdom as the oracle. On this week's “Marketplace Tech Bytes: Week in Review,” we take a look at Nvidia's changing investment relationship with OpenAI. Plus, a stormy start for the new U.S. version of TikTok. But first, SpaceX, one of the world's largest rocket companies, announced this week that it's buying xAI, a two-and-half-year-old artificial intelligence startup. Both companies are controlled by Elon Musk. The new company is reportedly valued at $1.25 trillion. It means the chatbot Grok, the satellite internet company Starlink, and the social media firm X are all going to co-exist under the same rocket hangar. Marketplace's Stephanie Hughes spoke with Paresh Dave, senior writer at Wired, about what adding these companies together equals.
In this episode, Chris and Peaches break down men's integrity in the real world, how your private life becomes your public life, and why the mask you wear long enough starts to become your identity. Chris brings questions he'd normally ask men, Peaches answers from a woman's perspective, and they go straight into temptation, self respect, and the patterns that quietly wreck trust long before anything “big” happens. You can expect practical, direct relationship leadership, including the biggest integrity leaks men face right now, how attention seeking fuels porn, alcohol, work addiction, and avoidance, and what it looks like to put guardrails on your life before you need damage control. They also get into masculinity and emotional mastery, how to process anger, fear, and shame without dumping it on your family, how to tell the truth without using truth as a weapon, and how to lead your home when it's chaotic. If you want a concrete next step, they point you toward the 2BeBetter check in list and explain why consistent check ins are one of the fastest ways to rebuild connection and lead your marriage with real data instead of assumptions.Disclaimer: We are not professionals. Dating doesn't have to be exhausting, confusing, or depleting. In this episode, I'm sharing how my approach to dating completely changed once I stopped abandoning myself for connection. I talk about the subtle ways women give their power away in dating—over-explaining, leading with accomplishments, tolerating misalignment, prioritizing intensity over intentionality—and what it looks like to date from self-worth instead.MAGNETIC AFFIRMATIONS (1HR+): https://21-day-break-up-glow-up-challenge.teachable.com/p/making-mind-magnetic-affirmations-all-eyes-will-be-on-you-793498

Gary and Selena drift through everyday chaos, aging, intimacy, and irritation as a casual conversation about colors turns into reflections on turning forty, gift expectations, and the strange emotional weight attached to birthdays. They talk massages, tipping anxiety, overpriced upgrades, sore feet, and the disappointment of hot stone add-ons that miss the point. Domestic tension bubbles up through broken heirlooms, cats causing destruction, and disagreements about emotional reactions, overreacting, and what it means to feel heard during conflict. The conversation slides into awkward neighborhood encounters, paranoia about being overheard, public embarrassment, and how small moments spiral into resentment. Gary and Selena unpack bickering, criticism, Reddit reactions, and the thin line between honest conversation and uncomfortable listening. Travel stress enters the mix with airline seating changes, gate checking chaos, lost seats, and feeling powerless while following instructions. The episode winds through bugs, grasshoppers, bodily discomfort, television fatigue, relationship negotiations, and the quiet realization that everyday life feels louder, messier, and harder to smooth out than expected.

Love to hear from you; “Send us a Text Message”Start with this unsettling claim: You weren't born in the wrong body—you were born in the wrong culture. From there we dig into why so many young people feel disoriented, how institutions amplify that confusion, and what it takes to rebuild a sane, humane vision of the human person. Our guest, Daniel Gallagher of Ralston College, brings a rare mix of philosophical clarity, pastoral sensitivity, and classroom experience to a debate that often devolves into slogans. We map the core of gender ideology—the move to treat sex as secondary—and contrast it with a Christian anthropology that insists the body reveals the person. We confront the cultural pressures on kids: pornography in schools, policies that erode innocence, and a vocabulary—like “gender dysphoria”—that can be stretched to fit activism more than care. A recent New York verdict for a detransitioner underscores the stakes and the need for honest medicine, founded on the truth and do no harm!! In this episode, Michaela introduces a NEW aura color named “You Should Too Blue.” This energy shows up when someone believes their suffering should be a blueprint for how others live, heal, and grow.Michaela explores how this mindset is rooted in unhealed trauma, reinforced by 3D societal programming, and often disguised as toughness, wisdom, or “that's just how life is.” Michaela breaks down how You Should Too Blue energy manifests, why it's so common, and how it quietly perpetuates cycles of pain instead of growth. With a blend of spiritual insight, grounded psychology, and playful honesty, this episode invites you to recognize where this energy might be showing up in your life or where you may have internalized it without realizing. February looks a little different this year… because we are letting men take the mic.To kick off our February Men's Series, we are joined by actor, producer, veteran and content creator Mike Bless aka Michael Anthony. This conversation dives deep into dating, emotional healing, masculinity and the realities of modern relationships from a male perspective. We talk about how men process heartbreak, the role of honesty in dating, why communication looks different for men, and the idea that many men heal quietly instead of publicly. Mike opens up about accountability, emotional vulnerability, dating expectations and the importance of being honest about intentions early.Of course, we also get into power dynamics in relationships, monogamy vs honesty, the Atlanta dating scene, men wearing purses (yes, we went there), and why giving space in early dating might actually be healthy. This episode kicks off a full month of real conversations with men about love, growth, healing and relationships — and we are listening.Cocktail of the Week: The Leading ManIngredients2 oz bourbon 1 oz blood orange juice ½ oz simple or honey syrup 2 dashes Angostura bitters Orange peel garnishInstructionsAdd bourbon, blood orange juice, syrup and bitters to a mixing glass with ice.Stir for about 20–25 seconds until well chilled.Strain over a large ice cube in a rocks glass.Express the oils from an orange peel over the drink and drop it in.Sip, stare dramatically into the distance, and pretend you're the main character.

Are modern habits around cleanliness, parenting, and social contact shaping your gut health more than you realise? In this episode, Professor Tim Spector explains how gut microbes are shared between people - through relationships, daily contact, and the environments we live in, and why this matters for long-term health. You'll learn how human contact may be influencing your gut in ways most of us never consider. Tim explains why supporting gut microbiome is less about control and more about balance, and you'll learn simple ways to support a healthier gut through food, social connection and lifestyle habits. If your gut reflects the people you live with and the places you spend time, what small change could you make this week - in your home, your habits, or your social life - that might support your gut for the long term?
Do you feel like you keep attracting the wrong people or repeating the same relationship patterns? You're not alone. In this episode, we break down the difference between healthy love and unhealthy love, and why so many of us end up in relationships that leave us drained, frustrated, or heartbroken. We'll talk about why trying to find “the one” while still carrying old wounds often sets you up for disappointment, how to recognize people who aren't ready for real connection, and most importantly, how you can show up better in your own relationships. If you're ready to stop settling, stop repeating mistakes, and start building the kind of love you truly deserve, this episode is for you. Thank you for watching!
Connection matters deeply — and yet for many of us, it's never felt more confusing. In this solo episode, Dr. Alison explores the tension many people are navigating right now: how to stay open and loving toward others without losing clarity, discernment, or yourself. Many of us were taught that love means endless accommodation, that boundaries are unkind, or that distance equals failure. Others, weary of being hurt, find themselves pulling back — unsure how to stay connected without feeling drained or unsafe. This episode sits right in the middle of that tension. Rather than offering formulas or quick fixes, Dr. Alison invites listeners to slow down and notice what's happening beneath the surface of relationships — especially the ones that feel confusing, heavy, or hard to interpret. If you've found yourself asking: How do I stay loving without losing myself? How do I know when to lean in — and when to pause? What does discernment look like in real, imperfect relationships? This conversation creates space to reflect without pressure to decide everything right away. More Resources:

On this solo episode of Travis Makes Money, host Travis Chappell breaks down the three core levers that determine the overall quality of your life and, ultimately, your long-term success. Drawing from his own journey as a podcaster, entrepreneur, and student of personal development, Travis shares practical frameworks you can apply immediately to upgrade your thinking, your routines, and your relationships. On this episode we talk about: Why the quality of your life is shaped by three core factors: questions, habits, and relationships. How asking better questions leads to better answers, deeper self-awareness, and clearer direction. A practical exercise for sitting down with a blank page and writing questions that guide your next steps. How to think about discipline as a “bank account” and use it to systematically build powerful habits. Why your long-term happiness and success are most strongly tied to the depth and quality of your closest relationships. Top 3 Takeaways The quality of your questions—both to yourself and to others—determines the quality of your answers, your beliefs, and ultimately your actions. Discipline resets daily like a bank account, so focus on using it to build small, sequential habits that eventually appear effortless to outsiders. Over the long run, the depth and strength of your key relationships are the single biggest predictor of your happiness and fulfillment. Notable Quotes "Ask better questions, you get better answers." "Show me your habits now, and I'll show you who you'll be in five years from now." "Relationships plus nothing equals everything to me." Marriage can be tough work. Pressure from jobs, kids, and finances makes it easy to put our relationship on the back burner. Once our marriage gets put on the back burner, it starts to deteriorate because marriages are alive and require constant attention. This time of year often brings relationships into sharper focus.February tends to celebrate a romanticized version of love — the ideal, effortless kind. But when real life doesn't match those expectations, old arguments resurface. Disappointment, betrayal, and unresolved ruptures find a way of coming back into the conversation. And as you already know if you've been listening to the podcast, real love isn't sustained by fantasy. It requires real work, especially when trust has been broken. The truth is that many people try to rebuild trust by rushing toward forgiveness or by hoping things can somehow go back to how they were. But that version of the relationship is gone. And honestly, it wasn't working for either of you.So in this week's episode, I walk you through a different path forward. Not back into the past…but toward a new normal — one that's more honest, transparent, resilient, and emotionally grounded. If you've been carrying questions like:“Can I trust them again?”“How do I know this won't happen again?”“Am I supposed to forgive… or protect myself?”This episode will help you slow down, ground yourself, and move forward with integrity.Episode timestamps:01:06 — Why rebuilding trust starts with trusting yourself04:07 — Creating a new normal instead of chasing the past06:34 — Seeking to understand the other person (without excusing harm)07:18 — The role of forgiveness — and why it can't be forced11:55 — Looking honestly at times you broke trust too13:53 — What happens if you decide to part ways14:51 — Reaching out for support when you don't want to do this aloneWhatever path you choose, rebuilding or releasing, my hope is that you do it from a place of self-trust rather than self-abandonment.That's how healing actually lasts.

Do you work with family? How does relationship-based networking impact your life? Your company? Your bottom line? What are some of the biggest misconceptions about networking? In this week's episode of The Crushing Debt Podcast, Shawn & George talk to Spencer Reynolds and his son Kamryn Reynolds, Co-Executive Directors of BNI Tampa. Originally from Northern Utah, Spencer and his family packed up and moved to Florida in 2017, trading mountains for sunshine and lakes. With his wife, Tricia, running the show (let's be honest, she's the boss) and their four incredible kids—three adventurous adult sons and their adopted princess, almost 16—they're all about outdoor thrills, especially water sports and international adventure travel. And when we say "thrills," we mean it! Spencer's an adrenaline junkie—skydiving, hang gliding, mountain biking, and even trekking to Everest Base Camp with his brothers. If it involves speed, heights, or a near-death experience, he's probably done it… twice. (Ask about their Grand Canyon White Water Rafting trip from last year, wild!) Before becoming the networking master he is today, Spencer spent 12 years as a mortgage broker before making the leap into professional speaking and training in 2005. He's taken the stage in every major city across the U.S. and Canada, teaching professionals how to build systems, work By Referral Only, and grow businesses the right way with referrals. Through BNI, he's expanded his reach globally, inspiring thousands of entrepreneurs to unlock the power of relationships. Kamryn Reynolds is a communication coach, keynote speaker, and the youngest Executive Director in BNI history. He's the founder of Articulate Advantage, helping professionals speak with power, clarity, and confidence. A USF grad, Eagle Scout, and fluent Spanish speaker after serving a two-year mission in Argentina. Kamryn now specializes in keynotes and trainings for high-end hotels and resorts. Known for his high energy and practical frameworks, he's on a mission to become an Ironman, a TEDx speaker, and an international voice for intentional communication. He lives by one core belief: connection is the currency of opportunity. Spencer, Kamryn, George & Shawn talk about: What surprises them the most about working together. Early money lessons. We begin by looking at the most important relationship you will ever have - the relationship of which all relationships flow out of: our relationship with Christ. We begin at the end...the end of walking by faith before it is forever by sight (2 Cor. 5:7). On that day, we will be forever changed into his image. The reality is, we are to be changed daily as we walk with him (Rom. 12:1-2; 8:29). What needs to change as a result of this message?
