These Border Patrol raids deep in our cities are nothing but a massive beta test for the AI surveillance grid, with feds wearing Meta glasses that snap your face, ID you instantly, and feed you into kill lists just like they did to Alex Pretti before they executed him on camera. Erika Kirk wants you to buy her grieving trad-wife act, but the receipts don't lie—she's a documented pathological liar who faked her entire backstory, hid ex-fiancés and wild reality-TV hookups, invented a single-mom sob story, and buried inconvenient family members while pretending to be some pure Christian conservative princess.
A McGill University study found that childhood adversity combined with altered brain insulin signaling increases metabolic disease risk in women, even before clinical signs like diabetes or heart disease appear Early stress reprograms brain regions that govern reward, impulse control, and energy balance, raising visceral fat storage and disrupting insulin sensitivity decades after the original stress occurred Women with higher brain insulin signaling activity were more vulnerable to metabolic harm from childhood stress, showing greater fat gain and a higher risk for metabolic syndrome than men Stress-related metabolic disruption often remains undetected because changes like visceral fat buildup and inflammation occur below standard clinical thresholds, delaying recognition until the disease is more advanced Reducing ongoing stress, improving insulin sensitivity, limiting linoleic acid (LA) intake, restoring energy production, and supporting hormonal balance can help counteract early stress and lower long-term metabolic risk
Winston Churchill once said, “Success is going from failure to failure without a loss of enthusiasm.” That's a nice sentiment—I mean, by and large it's good to let failure be a learning experience, to not let it discourage you from following your dreams. But…hear me out here: What if you're just a hot mess? What if every time you go from one failure to the next, you leave a pile of bodies in your wake? Can you be a little TOO good at failure? Should you sometimes maybe acknowledge “Hey, maybe this thing I'm trying to do isn't one of my strengths”? I think some of the people in this week's episode would have left the world a better place if they'd thrown in the towel.Registration is now open for CrimeWave 2.0! Women Explain WHY THEY LEFT GOOD MEN by Greg Adams
Dr. Maria Sophocles has been a leader in women's healthcare for nearly 30 years, specializing in menopause management and female sexual health. She founded Women's Healthcare of Princeton, a progressive gynecology practice, and has been a visiting professor and NIH researcher in Switzerland. A board-certified ob/gyn and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, she has pioneered innovative treatments, including CO2 laser therapy for vaginal atrophy. She serves as CMO of EMBR Labs, Director of Women's Health Services for Curia Health, and is an advocate for women's health policy. Dr. Sophocles' TED talk "What Happens to Sex in Midlife" has garnered over 1.2 million views in total and her forthcoming book, The Bedroom Gap, will be released February 10th. She is currently working on a documentary about Sex, Menopause, and Gender Equality called HOT! In this episode, Tara and Dr. Maria Sophocles unpack the bedroom gap by exploring how physiology, hormones, shame, religion, porn culture, relationship dynamics, and communication issues all interact to block women's libido and pleasure, while offering practical strategies like self-pleasure, better sex education, hormone support, and intentional intimacy to rebuild desire and connection at any age. EP575. Is it ADHD… or is it perimenopause? Or is it both showing up at the same time to completely derail your nervous system? In this solo episode of The Mom Room, Renee gets real about her experience with ADHD, taking Vyvanse, and navigating perimenopause in her late 30s and early 40s. After a conversation with an OBGYN that stopped her in her tracks, Renee explores why so many women feel like their brains and bodies suddenly stop working, and why the overlap between ADHD symptoms and perimenopause symptoms is so often misunderstood, misdiagnosed, or dismissed.Renee breaks down common ADHD symptoms in women, common perimenopause symptoms, where they overlap, and why medications like Vyvanse are helping some women function better during this stage of life. She also shares her personal experience starting birth control to manage perimenopause symptoms, why it helped, why it eventually won't be enough, and what modern hormone replacement therapy (HRT) actually looks like in 2026.This episode is equal parts educational, validating, and rage-inducing (in the best way). If you've been feeling overwhelmed, foggy, irritable, exhausted, or like you're “failing at adulting,” this conversation will make one thing very clear: you are not broken, you are under-supported.Women deserve real information, real treatment, and real quality of life. "I had girls come up to me and say, 'I haven't had my period in X amount of time, how do I get it back?'" Gracen Key, head coach for the Women's Distance program at Fort Lewis College (FLC) in Durango CO joins us to talk about creating a team culture where athletes feel comfortable asking questions like that. Key joined FLC about two years ago, and is working hard to create a team cuture that celebrates fueling, regular periods, and self expression. After struggling with injuries, and eventually having surgery for a severe hip labrum tear, her personal athletic career seemed over but she was drawn to coaching by mentors in the sport. She's been at three programs so far, and feels strongly about her athletes having regular periods, eating enough, and performing in a way that feels best for them. We got to bring a Lane 9 workshop to her team last year, and wanted to reconnect with Key to learn more about her coaching philosophies and approach. We hope it's helpful for you, too! Why does Scripture so often portray women as central to God's work of redemption—even in stories of deep dysfunction and failure? In this episode, Dr. Ingrid Faro, Old Testament scholar and interim president of Northern Seminary, joins Dru Johnson to explore her groundbreaking work in Redeeming Eden: How Women in the Bible Advance the Story of Salvation. Dr. Faro shares how her personal journey through theological trauma, cultic church experiences, and academic discovery led her to reexamine Genesis 1–3 and the women of the Bible. She explains how Hebrew terms like ezer and tzelah (often translated “helper” and “rib”) have been misunderstood, how Eve's story actually radiates hope, and how strategic female figures consistently propel salvation history forward. The conversation also tackles misinterpretations of Genesis 3:16, the patterns of dysfunction and healing across the biblical narrative, and what the Bible really says about evil. This episode is a deep and hopeful reconsideration of gender, power, and goodness within the story of Scripture. Do Native Americans need more encouragement to consume saturated fats? Native nutritionists are wondering how the new federal dietary guidelines just unveiled by U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. intersects with decades of scientific research urging the population with the highest rates of heart disease to limit their saturated fat intake. The new federal food pyramid shows up in recommendations for programs like Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), Head Start, Indian Health Service, and the National School Lunch Program. Tribes in the Pacific Northwest are stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to seals taking a bite out of the salmon populations they worked decades to preserve. The seals are protected by the Marine Mammal Protection Act. They feast on fish that on which the tribes rely. We will look at how this situation affects tribal treaty rights and what tribes are doing in response. A handful of organizations are working to strengthen traditional connections between urban Native residents and buffalo. Organizers in Chicago and Denver are among those working to put the animals closer to Native people who might not otherwise have exposure to a significant traditional source of food. There's been a stark warning to MPs about the number of women pensioners living in poverty. The house of commons work and pensions committee has been hearing the pension system is dysfunctional, and contributing to more gender disparity, that's according to the feminist economic think tank the Women's Budget Group, which gave evidence yesterday. Anita Rani is joined by their incoming director Dr Daniella Jenkins and Sarah Pennells, consumer specialist at Royal London finance company.New figures revealed in a super-complaint suggest tens of thousands of sexual offence investigations are taking years to complete with some stretching beyond seven years to complete. The complaint has been submitted by a coalition of legal and support organisations including Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre. Anita is joined by one of the co-authors, Ellie Ball, an Independent Sexual Violence Advisor Manager, who's helped survivors of sexual violence navigate the criminal justice system for over a decade.Madeleine Gray's first book Green Dot was a big hit and she's just published her second novel – Chosen Family. Journalist Olivia Petter says the men she meets are obsessed with using it but believes that women are far more cautious. Studies show women are less likely to use AI in the workplace. As the government rolls out free AI training for every UK adult, the question is: what happens if women don't feel equally confident or equally protected in this new AI driven world? Olivia and Prof Gina Neff from the Minderoo Centre for Technology and Democracy at the University of Cambridge join Anita to discuss. Presenter: Anita Rani Producer: Corinna Jones
If a man doesn't have a healthy obsession with you, the relationship will slowly make you anxious, insecure, and self-doubting.Women are constantly told they're “clingy,” “too emotional,” or “asking for too much”—when in reality, they're responding to emotional inconsistency and lack of presence. In this video, I break down:• What “healthy obsession” actually means (and what it doesn't)• Why women feel anxious in emotionally unavailable relationships• Why some men push back hard against emotional closeness• The difference between control and emotional investment• Why the right man makes you feel settled—not confusedThis isn't about toxicity. It's about emotional responsibility. If you've ever felt like you had to shrink, stay quiet, or lower your expectations to keep a man—this conversation is for you.✨ Share this with a woman who's been told she's “too much.”✨ Subscribe for honest conversations about love, attachment, and emotional safety.✨ Let's connect:

For most of us, water is rarely something we think about. It's as close as the kitchen sink, the refrigerator door, or the bottle beside us at work. But for millions of people around the world, clean water remains out of reach—and the consequences stretch far beyond thirst.Jesus once said, “And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones… that person will certainly not lose their reward” (Matthew 10:42). On today's episode of Faith & Finance, Aaron Griggs of Cross International shows us just how literal—and transformative—that cup of water can be.Globally, 2.2 billion people still lack access to safe drinking water. In places like Zambia, Malawi, and Uganda, the crisis is especially severe. Women and children often walk long distances every day to gather water from open pits shared with animals. The water is contaminated, illness is common, and the time lost reinforces generational poverty. Girls miss school, mothers miss work, and entire communities struggle to flourish. This quarter, FaithFi is partnering with Cross International, a Christ-centered humanitarian ministry working alongside local churches and Christian leaders to meet urgent needs and create sustainable change. Their work in Sub-Saharan Africa is showing what can happen when clean water meets the living water of the gospel. After a well is installed in a village, physical health improves quickly—but the long-term effects are even more remarkable. Hours once spent fetching water are freed for school, work, farming, and small business. Women gain economic opportunity. Children gain education. And through Cross International's ministry partners, families are introduced to Jesus, often receiving their first Bibles in their own language. One woman in Zambia described this transformation with simple gratitude:“I never knew that I would be where I am now. My family is healthier, and my children are in school. God has blessed us.”Another woman, Grace, shared how access to water restored not only her family but also her church. For years, her congregation met under a tree because there wasn't enough water for construction. After a new well was installed, the church was rebuilt, children joined their parents in worship, and an entire community experienced renewed dignity and hope. Her favorite Scripture says it best:“Whoever believes in me… rivers of living water will flow from within them.” — John 7:38Cross International's work meets physical needs, but always in the name of Christ. Water is a doorway—opening opportunities for flourishing today and pointing to eternal life in Him. That's why FaithFi is partnering with Cross International this quarter to serve 250 children across Malawi, Zambia, and Uganda, providing not only clean water but also food, education, and the hope of the gospel. For just $62, one child receives these essential resources for a year. Every gift supports not just a child, but often an entire family and community, moving them toward long-term stability and lasting hope.Clean water changes everything—it restores dignity, strengthens families, and reflects the life-giving love of Christ. To learn more or to join us in this effort, visit: FaithFi.com/Cross.On Today's Program, Rob Answers Listener Questions:I have a question about the ‘Trump Accounts' for newborns. In this episode you'll learn: Why women's health needs a full-body reset, moving beyond "bikini medicine" to include brain, heart, immune, and metabolic health. How gaps in anatomy education leave women uninformed, even at advanced education levels, limiting body literacy and self-advocacy. Why women normalize serious symptoms like pain, heavy bleeding, and fatigue, and how this delays diagnosis and care. How to be heard in a short doctor visit by prioritizing and clearly reporting symptoms in advance. Why medical language still reflects gender bias, and how updating anatomical terms can improve understanding and care. How male-centered research has shaped women's medicine, and what new science is revealing about female-specific health differences. Why pushing through pain can worsen outcomes, increasing pain sensitivity and delaying proper treatment. How pain management in gynecology is finally changing, with growing recognition that procedures should not require suffering. Facing a bully at work? In this episode of Women of Color Rise, I speak with Dali Rivera—parenting coach, U.S. Army veteran, author, and founder of the Diversity and Anti-Bullying Academy (DABA). Dali transformed her pain over both her and her daughter's bullying into a powerful purpose, creating tools for confident advocacy in schools and in the workplace. Dali shares advice for leaders to confidently address a workplace bully or a hostile situation: Stop Blaming Yourself: Immediately shift your mindset from shame or guilt to self-advocacy. Know you deserve respect. Document Everything (Your Paper Trail): Collect dates, times, witnesses, and specific details of every incident. If it's verbal, it's hard to prove. Know Your Resources & Suggest Solutions: Research your company's HR policies before you need them. When you report, bring a suggested, realistic resolution. Seek External Counsel: Remember that HR's loyalty is to the company, not the employee. Be smart—be prepared to seek an attorney or HR coach to protect yourself. Dali's story is a powerful reminder that our pain can become our greatest purpose, giving us the strength to advocate not only for our children but for ourselves in the workplace. Transitioning live from the Men's Health and Women's Wellness of Mississippi studios on 103.9 FM WYAB, Clay introduces himself and guest Jamie Creel, a Shelter Insurance agent. They dive into local topics, including the new area code in North Mississippi amid rapid growth from Memphis migrants, the excellence of DeSoto County schools, and fierce opposition to school choice legislation that could undermine high-performing districts.
