Asthma is more prevalent in adult women than in adult men. Specifically, data from the National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) indicates that 9.7% of adult women had asthma, compared to 5.5% of adult men. This higher prevalence is observed across various racial and ethnic groups within the adult female population. At the end of April 2025, new population-level data was published (UK) describing an alarming association between progastrin only pills and asthma exacerbations. Is this a new finding? Recently, it seems that there has been a barrage of negative press towards progestin only contraceptives: depo provera and brain tumors, progestin releasing IUS and breast cancer, and the progestin IUS and rosacea. What is happening here?! We'll break it all down in this episode.

Did you know that many conditions treated by Big Pharma can be inexpensively corrected with vitamin D?Leo Pharma and Almirall are two pharmaceutical companies that specialize in dermatology. Many of their products contain synthetic vitamin D for skin problems. Coincidentally, these companies also played a role in the sun-phobia movement. The sun is one of the best remedies for skin problems like eczema and psoriasis. You need at least 10,000 IUs of vitamin d3 every day to maintain healthy vitamin D levels!Sunbathing was once popular worldwide and was used to prevent tuberculosis and various health conditions. However, after the development of antibiotics, its popularity drastically declined.Dr. William Grant has done extensive research on vitamin D. He explains that 84,532 papers have been published on vitamin D, the most studied bioactive molecule. Despite the evidence, there is still controversy regarding the health benefits of vitamin D. Tens of thousands of research studies have been conducted on the benefits of vitamin D for cancer. Big Pharma has influenced studies that discredit the benefits of vitamin D. Only small amounts of vitamin D were used in most studies that do not show favorable outcomes with vitamin D. Dr. Cicero Coimbra, who developed the Coimbra protocol, has seen a 90% success rate in using vitamin D for autoimmune diseases. Some people have vitamin D resistance, which involves a genetic problem with vitamin D. Blood tests can not accurately determine vitamin D deficiency. It is vital to keep your vitamin D levels over 50 ng/mL to avoid vitamin D deficiency. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio:Dr. Berg, age 59, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. Dr. Berg’s Healthy Keto and Intermittent Fasting Podcast

Many people only take between 600 to 2000 IUs of vitamin D each day. Did you know that 10,000 IUs of vitamin D3 is only .25 mg? Vitamin D is the most important vitamin. It controls 10% of your genetics. Over 90% of the population has less than 40 ng per mL of vitamin D3 in their blood. The guidelines of 600 IUs of vitamin D3 are based on preventing rickets, supporting bone health, and managing calcium in the blood, not for the countless other functions of vitamin D. Low vitamin D levels are caused by people staying indoors, location, skin color, and other lifestyle and genetic factors. Low vitamin D symptoms include:•Low back pain•High blood pressure•Depression•Anxiety•Inflammation•Poor immune functionSunblock blocks the absorption of vitamin D. In 1980, society became sun phobic in an attempt to prevent skin cancer, which has continued to increase despite less sun exposure. You need 10,000 IUs of vitamin D daily, especially for immune function. This amount of vitamin D is the same amount you'd get from 20 minutes of sun exposure in the summertime. When you get a blood test for vitamin D, they're not checking for the active form and are not accounting for vitamin D resistance. Many things block the vitamin D receptor and contribute to vitamin D resistance, including genetics, plastics, forever chemicals, age, weight, inflammation, pregnancy, and lactation.Vitamin D3 won't work without magnesium. As you increase your vitamin D intake, the demand for magnesium increases. Vitamin K2 and zinc are also vital when increasing your vitamin D dosage.Vitamin D has potent anti-cancer and anti-tumor benefits at therapeutic doses. It can also combat inflammation and autoimmune conditions. Dr. Coimbra of Brazil has seen positive effects with high doses of vitamin D in people with autoimmune conditions. Dr. Berg’s Healthy Keto and Intermittent Fasting Podcast

Vitamin D toxicity is very rare and typically involves too much calcium in the blood. Even Dr. Bruce Hollis, a pioneer in vitamin D research, has never personally seen a case of vitamin D toxicity. To develop vitamin D toxicity, you'd have to consume hundreds of thousands of IUs of vitamin D3 for months! Vitamin D needs magnesium to function properly in the body. The more vitamin D you take, the more magnesium you need. Magnesium prevents vascular calcification, the main problem associated with vitamin D toxicity. The vitamin D receptor is dependent on zinc. Like magnesium, your zinc requirements increase when you take vitamin D. Zinc deficiency symptoms include an altered sense of taste and smell, acne, flaky skin, and lowered testosterone. When you increase your vitamin D intake, you'll need more vitamin K2. Vitamin K2 helps prevent the buildup of calcium and also helps to drive calcium into the bones and teeth. The active form of vitamin A, called retinol, is also an important cofactor for vitamin D. Vitamin A receptors sometimes bind with vitamin D receptors as a complex. Vitamin A also helps keep calcium out of your arteries. Always take vitamin D3, not D2. Vitamin D2 is less potent and is typically synthetic. Avoid synthetic vitamin D3 supplements and supplements with fillers such as maltodextrin or glucose syrup. Leafy greens, chocolate, certain nuts, and pumpkin seeds are the best food sources of magnesium. When choosing a supplement, look for magnesium glycinate. The best food sources of zinc are red meat and shellfish. If you take a zinc supplement, consume it in a blend with other trace minerals. For every 10,000 IUs of vitamin D3 that you take, you'll need 100 mcg of vitamin K2. MK7 is the best form. Vitamin K2 is found in high-quality grass-fed butter, kimchi, sauerkraut, grass-fed beef, and eggs. It's best to get your vitamin A from food. Egg yolks, liver, and cod liver oil are the best sources. DATA: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/3627603/ https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles... Vitamin D is the most important vitamin! It's a fat-soluble vitamin involved in 10% of our genetics. Vitamin D won't work unless you have enough magnesium, the second most important nutrient. Magnesium is involved with 300 different enzymes and plays a vital role in regulating excess calcium. Magnesium glycinate supplements have the best absorption rate. The more vitamin D you take, the more magnesium you'll need. Some negative side effects associated with vitamin D, such as nausea, heart palpitations, muscle cramps, and headaches, are actually symptoms of a magnesium deficiency. Don't take vitamin D without the important cofactor, vitamin K2. Vitamin D helps you absorb calcium, but you need vitamin K2 to drive it into the bones and teeth to keep it out of the soft tissues. Vitamin K2 is best for calcium buildup. Take 100 mcg of vitamin K2 for every 10,000 IUs of vitamin D3. Zinc is another important cofactor that helps you convert cholesterol into vitamin D. If you're taking 10,000 IU of vitamin D, you should also take 20 mg of zinc. One of the biggest vitamin D mistakes is not taking enough! You need at least 6,000 to 10,000 IU of vitamin D3 every day. Vitamin D2 does not work like vitamin D3. The vitamin D detected in the blood is not the active form. This means you could have normal blood levels of vitamin D but still have vitamin D deficiency. Statins and steroids can inhibit your ability to make vitamin D and its ability to work in your body. The best time to get vitamin D from the sun is between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. DATA: https://ajcn.nutrition.org/article/S0... http://www.vitamindprotocol.com/vitam...

Dr. Berg’s Healthy Keto and Intermittent Fasting Podcast

In this podcast, I'm going to tell you how to sleep better at night. Many people suffer from numerous sleep issues and disturbances, such as trouble getting to sleep, frequent waking to urinate, sleep apnea, and restless leg syndrome. Vitamin D can improve all of these sleep issues. Not only can it improve sleep quality, but it can also improve gut health and immune function. Vitamin D works synergistically with magnesium, which improves cramping, restless leg syndrome, heart palpitations, and high cortisol levels. If you're taking magnesium for these issues and it's not working, it could be because you need vitamin D. Vitamin D is one of the most powerful anti-inflammatories. Sleep, diet, and exercise are vital for your health, with sleep at the top of the list. The nerves in the hypothalamus that control sleep are full of vitamin D receptors. If you're obese, diabetic, or aging, your need for vitamin D dramatically increases. Less than 40 ng/mL of vitamin D can negatively affect your health. Vitamin D levels should be between 70 and 100 ng/mL or more for therapeutic benefit. Blood tests detect the inactive form of vitamin D and can't tell you if vitamin D is reaching your cells. Try taking at least 30,000 IUs of vitamin D3 for better sleep, and remember to consume plenty of water daily. Cut down on dairy to limit calcium intake and take vitamin K2, magnesium, zinc, and vitamin B6, the cofactors of vitamin D. For better sleep, try the following sleeping tips: •Take vitamin D with cofactors at the last meal of the day •Make sure the room is cool •Avoid electronics and bright lights 2 hours before bed DATA: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38414320 https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31759... https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/arti...

Around 20% to 50% of all women will have some sort of fibroid or endometriosis before the age of 50. A fibroid is a growth on the uterus that is not cancerous. Research has shown that vitamin D may help shrink the size of fibroids. If you're vitamin D deficient, your risk of developing uterine fibroids is much higher. Vitamin D naturally inhibits the enzyme aromatase, which converts androgens to estrogen. Vitamin D can also affect the fibroid itself. If you have enough vitamin D, certain tumor and cancer cells will commit suicide. Dr. Bruce Hollis has done extensive research on the benefits of vitamin D but says a lot of research on vitamin D has been rejected by top medical journals! Around 50,000 IUs of vitamin D daily may help shrink fibroids in the uterus. You'll also need to take the following vitamin D cofactors: •500 mcg vitamin K2 •800 mg magnesium •50 mg zinc •Vitamin B6 and boron (recommended dose on the bottle) More tips to help shrink fibroids naturally: • Get on the ketogenic diet • Increase your consumption of cruciferous vegetables • Limit dairy consumption DATA: https://www.europeanreview.org/wp/wp-... https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/11914... https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/11470... https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36014... https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/24174... https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/arti...

In this podcast, we're going to talk about one of the best natural remedies for glaucoma. Glaucoma is a condition where there is increased pressure inside the eyeball. This puts pressure on the optic nerve and can diminish your vision and cause blindness. Around 80 million people in the world have glaucoma, and 50% of them are unaware that they have it. Research suggests that glaucoma could be an autoimmune disease, which would explain why this natural remedy is so effective! In 2014, a study involving over 6,000 people in Korea showed a very high correlation between people with low vitamin D and glaucoma. People with glaucoma had three times more problems with the vitamin D receptor. A German doctor named Dr. Harald Schelle uses high doses of vitamin D for numerous eye problems. Many autoimmune cases of glaucoma have a genetic problem with the vitamin D receptor, the conversion from the inactive to the active form of vitamin D, or an issue with vitamin D absorption. Collectively, these problems are referred to as vitamin D resistance. To combat vitamin D resistance, you must increase your dosage. The standard recommendation for vitamin D is 20 ng per ml, however this is outdated and inaccurate. Dr. Schelle says we should have between 100 to 150 ng per ml of vitamin D. Dr. Coimbra from Brazil has also seen excellent results using high doses of vitamin D for autoimmune conditions. He recommends starting with 1000 IUs of vitamin D per kilogram of body weight. For example, a person weighing 84 kilograms would need 84,000 IUs of vitamin D3 daily. To minimize the risk of calcium buildup in the arteries, try the following: •Don't take a calcium supplement •Reduce your consumption of calcium-rich foods •Drink 2.5 liters of fluid daily •Take 100 mcg of vitamin K2 for every 10,000 IUs of vitamin D3 •Take 600 mg of magnesium daily Dr. Harald Schelle Link: https://www.kontaktlinsen-schelle.de/ DATA: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/11525... https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26997... https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33004... https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/arti... https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32234... https://www.frontiersin.org/journals/...

For these reasons, you should take your vitamin D level very seriously. But the question is: how can you rapidly increase your vitamin D to prevent these issues? I'm glad you asked because you have 3 options that work VERY well: Method #1. is the sunlight method. This method is by far the most natural and the one that you should aim for if at all possible. It works by harnessing the power of the sun which helps to convert and activate vitamin D in the skin and body. Watch the video to make sure you are using the correctly! Method #2. is the supplement method. Because not everyone will be able to get all of the necessary vitamin D that they need from the sun, we have to talk about supplements. If you are using supplements then you'll want to make sure to use vitamin D3 instead of D2 at a dose of around 1,000 to 5,000 IUs each day. Method #3. is the combination method. The combination method takes advantage of the sun, supplements, and natural sources of vitamin D from food. Realistically, this is the method that most of us will use because it's not always practical to get our vitamin D from any singular source. Because vitamin D more closely resembles a hormone as opposed to a vitamin, increasing your vitamin D has the potential to help many different systems in your body. Take your vitamin D level seriously and get tested if you haven't recently, especially if you are trying to improve your overall health. #vitamind #vitamin #vitamins #supplements #supplement Download my free thyroid resources here (including hypothyroid symptoms checklist, the complete list of thyroid lab tests + optimal ranges, foods you should avoid if you have thyroid disease, and more): https://www.restartmed.com/start-here/ Recommended thyroid supplements to enhance thyroid function: - Supplements that everyone with hypothyroidism needs: https://bit.ly/3tekPej - Supplement bundle to help reverse Hashimoto's: https://bit.ly/3gSY9eJ - Supplements for those without a thyroid and for those after RAI: https://bit.ly/3tb36nZ - Supplements for active hyperthyroidism: https://bit.ly/3t70yHo See ALL of my specialized supplements including protein powders, thyroid supplements, and weight loss products here: https://www.restartmed.com/shop/ Want more from my blog? In this podcast, I'm going to share a recipe for a powerful, natural antibiotic drink that you can make at home. The overuse of antibiotics is a major issue in the United States. Overuse of antibiotics leads to antibiotic resistance. This means that the microbes that are not killed by the antibiotics become stronger and resistant. When you take antibiotics again, they don't work as well anymore. Antibiotics do not kill yeast or viruses, but they do kill good microbes that keep the yeast at bay. This is why a common side effect of antibiotics is an overgrowth of candida or yeast. Weaker antibiotics like penicillin and tetracycline work by slowing the growth of microbial reproduction. Stronger antibiotics like Cipro and Levaquin come with strong side effects and a black box warning. If you have to take stronger antibiotics, always take magnesium, vitamin E, and probiotics along with them. After taking antibiotics, it could take weeks or even years to get your original microbes back. Because 80% of your immune system is your microbiome, this can have detrimental effects on your natural immunity. Antibiotics naturally come from molds and other microorganisms found in the soil. These natural compounds have anti-inflammatory effects, antimicrobial effects, anti-diabetic effects, and anticancer effects. Here is the recipe for a natural antibiotic drink that should be taken at the first sign of a cough or illness: •3 cloves garlic •90 drops Echinacea extract •1 whole organic lemon (peel included) •1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar •1 tablespoon raw honey •16 ounces water Blend all ingredients for about 45 seconds. Drink ⅓ of the mixture 3 times per day. If you're in the middle of an infection, do this for the duration of the infection. You should notice a diminishing of symptoms, and you should sleep better. Also, take 50,000 IUs of vitamin D3 and 100 to 150 mg of zinc to boost your immune system. His hero's journey started with a degree from University of Washington in Seattle. After he graduated, he was hired there as an academic weather researcher. He spent a decade at this and then worked for Boeing the rest of his career. After Lahore retired, he spent a decade traveling around the USA in a motorhome. (These people are now called “van-lifers.”) When he came home to settle down, he became interested in vitamin D and began his research. This evolved into VitaminDWiki.com, now the world's most comprehensive website about this subject. Mr. Lahore still works 50 plus hours a week learning and writing about D. He says his goal is to improve the health of the entire world. Click HERE to start viewing VitaminDWiki.com. To measure D dosing, International Units (IUs) are now used instead of micrograms (mcg). This seems to have been done to make tiny doses look large:1000 IU = 25 mcg5000 IU = 125 mcg10,000 IU = 250 mcgThe government's recommended vitamin D dietary allowance (RDA) is only 600 IU a day for people up to age 70 and 800 IU for those older. But if you want to be healthy, throw this out the window. Costco supplies 2,000 or 5,000 IUs per dose, which is still not enough. Biotech's top quality 50,000 IU vitamin D capsules are convenient for weekly use and can be purchased HERE.VitaminDWiki's FAQIntroduction:1. In 2015, the ACOG released its Committee Opinion on "Endometrial Intraepithelial Hyperplasia", or EIN (CO 631). EIN is of clinical significance because it is often a precursor lesion to adenocarcinoma of the endometrium. Making the distinction between hyperplasia and true precancerous lesions or true neoplasia is super important because their differing cancer risks must be matched with an appropriate intervention to avoid under/overtreatment. As is our podcast tagline, "medicine moves fast"; coming out in September 2023, the ACOG will release a new Clinical Consensus guideline on "EIN-AEH". What are the new changes? Why are we moving from a EIN designation to EIN-AEH? Is a progestin IUS a reasonable therapeutic option for those wishing to preserve fertility after this diagnosis? In his episode, we will answer all these questions and more, focusing on this new Clinical Consensus guideline.

We have a very, very special episode for you today. We have our friend, Julie Sawaya, and she is the co-founder of Needed. If you haven't heard us talking about Needed yet, go listen to the other episodes and get on Instagram. You guys, Needed is incredible. She is a mama of two young girls. We were just talking before the episode and her youngest is nine months. She is a lifelong nutrition nerd. I love that she calls herself this, a nutrition nerd. I'm a birth nerd. When we find ourselves passionate about something, we just nerd out, right? It's so amazing. Julie grew up in a family of medical doctors and learned at a young age the power of nutrition and how it can influence or help. Julie went on to study the issue of nutritional access in college and got her Master's in business from Stanford where she met her Needed co-founder, Ryan Of the most nutritionally aware of their friends, Julie and Ryan were shocked to realize that through nutrient testing, they were seriously major deficient in key nutrients. We don't think about it, Julie. We just don't think about this, I think, enough. We think we're taking something and we think that we're good. They found out that there was really much more needed for a healthy pregnancy. They dug into the research and they realized that they were not alone. 97% of women take a prenatal, yet 95% have nutrient deficiencies. Let me just say that again. 97% of women take a prenatal, yet 95% have nutrient deficiencies. Most prenatal vitamins just weren't cutting it and Julie and Brian started Needed to create a new, higher standard for perinatal health. Working alongside a collective of more than 3,000 perinatal nutrition and health experts, together they have redesigned the products, education, expertise, and experience that women need. Welcome to the show, Julie. I seriously am reading this and I'm like, “Oh my gosh.” This is amazing because like I was saying when I was pregnant years ago, I did not pay attention to anything. I got the bottle. I took it. Check mark.Julie: Yeah. No, I mean, I think it's a problem. The core underlying problem that we're solving at Needed is that women are nutritionally deficient in this life stage. It's a problem both with the products that are available. Most prenatal vitamins are designed to meet just the bare minimum nutrient needs, not to set you up for optimal health, and it's also an awareness or an education problem because, in some way, it's a problem that you don't know you have until you feel the effects of it. We're told it's normal to feel depleted, that it's normal to not feel your best, to feel like yourself during pregnancy or postpartum. So many of the complications of pregnancy have a nutritional root to it whether it's gestational diabetes or preeclampsia or hypertension or nausea even, or more severe nausea like hyperemesis. There is a nutritional component to it. Not to say that nutrition is a cure-all, but it's a reasonable first step in supporting your body optimally. Meagan: It's huge. Julie: What Ryan and I found when prior to starting the company is that despite how important nutrition is and yes, I am a lifelong nutrition nerd. Ryan and I are also trained nutritionists. It was truly and utterly shocking to us that we had these deficiencies but what we realized once we looked under the hood is that this problem is widespread and part of the problem stems from the fact that it's so common for women in the U.S. to see an OB. I come from a family of MDs and I have huge respect for the medical profession. But most doctors aren't trained in nutrition. It's actually not a requirement in most med schools. I think somewhere in the range of 50% of med schools don't require one nutrition course. The average OB appointment time in the US is 7 minutes long so even if an OB is trained in nutrition and has the intention to help educate their patients. OBs are generally very well-meaning. They're just people who are constrained on time and with the curriculum as we like to say, the curriculum is flawed, not the people. But even if all of the stars align in 7 minutes, you can't get all of your nutrition questions answered. What we hear again and again, the most common recommendation is, “Take a prenatal vitamin,” and then you ask, “What kind?” and then they say, “It doesn't matter. They're all the same.”Meagan: Just take one, yeah. Julie: “Just take one. Make sure it has folic acid in it,” which I'm sure we'll get into. That particular nutrient and nutrient form. But there is so much more to prenatal nutrition than vitamins and minerals. But even if you just focus on vitamins and minerals, it's really hard to pick a prenatal. There are over 100 on the market. There is a vast difference when it comes to quality. The quality of the nutrients, the quality of the nutrient forms, and dosages. We spent over three years formulating our first products with a collective of health and wellness practitioners that study perinatal nutrition and looking at all of the available clinical research on nutrient dosages and forms, and what pregnant and lactating women need. The reality is that there are a lot of nutritional gaps. That's where this collective of practitioners that are testing women's nutrient and hormone levels every single day really, really matters to understand in practice what does it take to dose? What dosing of Vitamin D do you need to give your patients to be in optimal nutrient ranges? It seems like such a basic question, but no prenatal company had done that legwork to understand what's actually optimal. Meagan: That is what I was going to say. There are so many things about Needed that I love. Honestly, one of them is how this company came about. It's two women that found that there was something lacking out there and had a passion from themselves and had passion to share it with the world. That's how The VBAC Link started. Myself and my old partner, Julie, same thing. We just found this passion so I love the heart that comes behind this company and then really what you guys have done. You've built it from somewhere where it was really mediocre if you could even call it that is incredible. Like you said, not only getting ingredients but the optimal amount. As I have compared in the past, there are so many out there that are even recommended on Amazon or wherever and they don't even have the ingredients at all let alone that optimal amount. I am so excited and honored for you to be here today and be talking to our community because I think that it is so important. Like you were saying, it's not that my provider had any ill intent to not give me that information, but it really was as I was walking out, he goes, “Oh, and by the way. Make sure to start a prenatal right now.” I was like, “Oh, okay.” That was it. That was it. I did. I found myself Googling it and found one. I was like, “Okay, cool. That one has some okay reviews.” I got it and I really didn't know the impact that it was leaving or lack thereof. Julie: Yeah, totally. I think some of that comes from there is misunderstanding that a prenatal vitamin is for the baby. By and large, unless you have massive nutrient deficiencies, the baby's going to get what he or she needs to develop properly, but often at the expense of your own nutrient reserves. As a mom of multiples, you know that oftentimes, women experience and understand the pain point more as a second-time or third-time mom than as a first-time mom because once you've been through pregnancy and birth and if you choose to breastfeed or pump, you can feel it viscerally how depleting that experience is maybe more so than a first-time mom that hasn't yet been through it all. In some ways, it's an experience that has to be lived to fully appreciate the problem probably much like the topic of VBACs. You go into a first birth maybe not fully understanding how one birth choice or one birth outcome will impact the second birth choice or birth outcome. What we're really trying to do at Needed is to raise awareness so that you can make the best choices possible with the information that you have. That's all that it's about. It's not about what I would have done differently with one pregnancy versus another. It's not at all. Any of the information we share is not in any way meant to shame or add guilt. There is so much of that mom guilt, so much of that fear-mongering out there. That is the antithesis of who we are as a company. But we find that when you're empowered with the right information, you can make better-informed decisions so that's a huge part of what our mission is here at Needed. Meagan: Yeah. Yeah, I mean we can relate to so much of that over here. I didn't know what I didn't know when I had through perinatal care to birth to recovering after a C-section. We grow from our journeys. Yeah. There's never any more shame. Mom guilt is way too thick. We lay it on way too thick, especially with social media. So here we are today to have this episode so you can start learning and growing and finding that information so you can make the best choice for you and your growing baby or maybe through your fertility journey or nursing journey or whatever part of the journey that you are in, Needed has so many incredible things, really it all. I'm sorry, but you kind of have it all out there. It's just amazing. So thank you so much. Yeah, let's get into some of these questions. Julie: Yeah, I'm excited. Meagan: Me too. Okay, so one of the questions is what is the importance of a prenatal vitamin? Really, why? We're being told to take these prenatal vitamins and we were just a little bit talking about how there are a lot of things that we need, but why do we really need them and does it matter if we don't take them?Julie: Yeah, that's a great question. I like to answer it with a look back at context from nature because first and foremost, I think people are right to have skepticism about supplements in general. Do I need them? Why do I need them? Is it just snake oil in general? I think something that was an aha moment for me as someone who was a little bit of a, “Food is my medicine, not supplements.” That's the perspective I came into before starting Needed. I think it's really helpful to understand that one of the main reasons we need supplements generally and then specifically at the life stage of pregnancy or the perinatal stage is because our soil is depleted. Food isn't as nutritious as it once was and it tends to take a lot longer to reach us than it used to. We're not generally growing our own food. We don't necessarily know who is growing our own food. Even if you shop at the farmers market as Ryan and I did at the time. We were testing our nutrients way back 6 years ago when we started Needed. Your food can still be depleted because the soil quietly is depleted. We're also subject to a lot more environmental toxins which that toxic load increases baseline nutrient requirements. Your body has to consume more nutrients to operate at homeostasis because of the burden of toxins it's trying to process effectively. Meagan: Yeah. Julie: We have a great book posted on our website. The title is “Why Your Grandmother Didn't Take Prenatal Vitamins But You Should.” It's really talking about these factors that are an evolution of modern life.We also now know as we didn't previously how important some nutrients are, especially nutrients like folate which is vitamin B9. It's really critical for babies' brain and neural tube formation. Folate's sister nutrient is choline. It's a super important nutrient for many of the same reasons– brain development, cognitive function, neural tube formation. Those are nutrients you don't want to skip out on in that even with your best intentions, you might be deficient it. 95% of women are deficient in– sorry about that. I have a rowdy dog. 95% of women are deficient in the nutrient choline. It's most abundant in eggs, liver, and foods like that but in the first trimester, many women have a food aversion to eggs. I certainly was not consuming any liver in my first trimester. Meagan: Yeah, I was going to say that liver never crossed the path of my pregnancy, unfortunately, or fortunately. Julie: Yeah, not at all. Yeah, but in any event, at a high level, prenatal vitamins are there to fill the gaps in your diet. I think that a misunderstanding and the way that prenatal vitamins have been formulated historically is that they're dosing around a concept called the RDA level which is basically a dosage framework that came out of World War II when the government was trying to determine how to set nutrient levels to avoid serious diseases like scurvy, like a significant deficiency of vitamin C. The entire concept of an RDA is rooted in this idea of, what's the bare minimum amount of a nutrient I need to give someone to avoid a disease or worse like famine or starvation. Minimalistic, not optimal. There's a big order of magnitude of difference of what amount of vitamin C your body needs to avoid scurvy versus what it needs to support postpartum tissue healing and repair and optimal immune health during pregnancy or optimal reference ranges. But at a high level, basically, prenatal vitamins are there to fill in the gaps in your diet. They are, unfortunately, a necessity because of our modern food system and they are especially important at a life stage like pregnancy and breastfeeding when your body will never have higher nutrient needs than it does in these life stages. It's really, really critical that you're getting the right nutrients. As I said earlier, it's not just for the baby. It's for you too. I think that a concept that we're really passionate about is centering women in this journey because ultimately, your baby is most likely going to get what they need but you might be left depleted and that depletion can have long-term impacts. If you want to have two kids or three kids or ten kids, your body has fewer nutrient reserves to give to the next baby with each sequential baby unless you are replenishing those nutrient stores. If your family feels complete, it's still important to supplement throughout the postpartum and a time period thereafter to support your hormone health and your thyroid health. Just general vitality and overall well-being. I think it's super common for women to say that it took them several years to feel like themselves post-pregnancy and a lot of that can be tied back to nutrient deficiencies. Meagan: Yeah, something that you said that resonated with me is that through each pregnancy, my life became busier because I had little toddlers and newborns. You know, all of these things around. So like you were saying at the beginning, you were like, “I can get it through my food. I can get it through my food.” Yes. Food definitely is impactful but obviously, as we know, is not as great as it used to be. Not only was it not as great as it used to be, but when I was really, really busy running around, I'm going to tell you right now that I was not eating correctly. I wasn't even getting enough calories at the time let alone the right foods. I was like, “Oh. There's a Nutrigrain bar. Let me just grab that because I'm hungry.” I wasn't grabbing the right things or enough. It just goes to show that as we keep going on too, it's so important. Julie: Yeah. That's absolutely the reality. I think where it's almost more important to take supplements with each subsequent pregnancy for that reason or even in the postpartum period because when you're pregnant with your first, you generally speaking have more time than you do in postpartum with your first. And in postpartum with your first, you generally have more time than pregnancy with your second or third or fourth so that's absolutely right. Meagan: Yeah. I would also remember breastfeeding my baby even in the middle of the day and just feeling sucked. Literally dry of energy and everything. Julie: Hydration and nutrients. Meagan: Hydration, yep. My mouth was getting dry. It just goes to show that you are feeling it. You are literally feeling your body change right there. Okay, so now we know it's definitely important to take prenatal vitamins in the perinatal/postpartum stage and everything. But what ingredients should we focus on? We talked a little bit about folate and choline. What should we be looking at when it comes to the back of our bottle? Are those really the two main ones or are there more ingredients that are like, “Hey, we really need to be focusing on these and if we don't see them on the back of our prenatal, we should have our alarms going off”? Julie: Yeah. There are really 24 vitamins and minerals that Needed has chosen to include in our prenatal vitamins because they are the ones that have the most clinically validated need for them. Choline and folate are two really important ones. I think they are really easy ones to scan a bottle for or a supplement facts panel and see not only does this have choline in it, but what's the dosage? The most common dosage of choline– it's a nutrient that has had an RDA. We talked about RDAs. It's a minimum amount. It's at an RDA of 450mg in pregnancy for 20+ years, 550 for lactation. The most common dosage of choline in a prenatal vitamin is 0, followed by 55mg which is 1/10 of the breastfeeding RDA. RDAs are the minimum. They're taking 1/10th of that in most prenatal vitamins. The reason for that isn't because you're getting all of the extra from your diet. It's because choline is a bulky nutrient that is hard to fit into a one-a-day prenatal. It's hard to fit into a gummy. You just really can't effectively do so. To dose it optimally, you need to include it in multiple capsules or in a powdered form like we offer. One of our options for a prenatal vitamin is a powder which is really, really great, especially for those bulkier nutrients like choline. The other bulky nutrients that are really important are calcium and magnesium. I would look for dosages of at least 200mg of those two ingredients. Ideally, magnesium and other minerals are in the glycinate form. Sometimes that's on a label as magnesium bis-glycinate or magnesium bound to glycine. Glycine is an essential amino acid that just helps with absorption, keylation basically, the usability of that nutrient in the body so that's a really important one. Other nutrients I suggest scanning a panel to see if they are in there– vitamin D is a telling one. I think nearly every prenatal vitamin will have vitamin D in it but the dosage matters and the form. Some prenatal use a less-absorbed form called vitamin D2. We recommend the D3 form. We also suggest looking for at least 2000 international units, IUs or more optimally would be 4000. Our prenatal vitamin capsules and multi-powder have 4000 and then our essentials multi which is a paired-down version in only three capsules has 2000. Those are the ranges that we typically like to see for vitamin D. Vitamin D is best absorbed with vitamin K. Make sure that vitamin K is on that supplement facts panel and 90 is the dosage that we tend to look for vitamin K. It should be in the K2 form. That's the best-absorbed one. Those are some key ones. The other things to look for are– I think we'll probably get into the question of what form of folate so let's have that's conversation. Meagan: Yeah.Julie: If you're told nothing else about prenatal nutrition, you're probably told to take folic acid which is the manmade synthetic form of the nutrient folate. Folate is naturally occurring in food. It's an essential nutrient. We talked about its use in the body. It's really important for babies' neural tube formation so for spina bifida. That's why it's emphasized usually in the first trimester because the neural tube fully closes during the first trimester. It's a nutrient that is so, so important and many women don't know they're pregnant until well into the first trimester so it's pretty common to hear that you should start taking it preconception which we definitely agree with, with one caveat which is that the synthetic form of folic acid is not readily used by the body. Many women have a genetic variation, MTHFR which makes it impossible for their bodies to convert synthetic folic acid into the usable form of folate. Instead, Needed uses methylfolate which is a naturally occurring form of folate. It's the active form meaning it doesn't have to go through the conversion process. It's been shown in clinical research to be better utilized by the body, especially for those with the MTHFR. There is controversy out there of folic acid versus methylfolate. Primarily what the controvery stems from is the fact that the clinical studies on folate for neural tube defects was done with folic acid. That's because the research is old. It's 30 years old. Now that we know how important folate is to neural tube defects, it would be unethical to do a clinical study with a double-blind placebo controlled study where you're putting women on a placebo that has no folate in it versus one that has folate in it. We know the risk factors. We don't want to induce spinal cord issues or neural defects. So a lot of those who are pro-folic acid are relying on stale research. Really, this argument is that all of the clinical research around neural tube formation is on folic acid. We're not arguing with that. That's actually a true statement. But there's a huge wealth of research showing that head-to-head comparing methylfolate versus folic acid, methylfolate is better absorbed by the body. 96% of the circulating folate in your body is methylfolate so that's pretty clear evidence in support of it. Mechanistically, in the body, how we're preventing neural tube formations is the serum folate status of mom. There is research showing that methylfolate raises serum folate status in mom in the same way or better than folic acid does. We have a really well-researched blog post on this topic on our website. It's dense. Maybe we can link to it in the show notes for those who want to learn more, but there is a reason why many of the higher-quality prenatal vitamins are including methylfolate, not folic acid. I would tend to distrust– there are some out there who are saying, “Oh, it's a designer prenatal vitamin. They're just trying to charge you more.” The reality is that methylfolate is so much more expensive than folic acid. You could make a lot higher profit margin if you used folic acid than methylfolate. I think it's around 100 times more expensive which is also why most of the clinical research is relying on folic acid. Folic acid is a nutrient that is often fortified in cereals and bread, so there's also a food lobby that has an interest in keeping folic acid in things and not methylfolate because it would be cost-prohibitive to include methylfolate in a $3.00 box of cereal. Meagan: Interesting. Julie: Yeah, there are a lot of factors. I don't want to bog listeners down in all of this information, but this is a really good nutrient to highlight how much information and nuance and research goes into selecting optimal nutrient forms and optimal nutrient dosages. It's a quick way of saying that we did a tremendous amount of research and there is a lot of evidence behind what we're including in the Needed prenatal. We include references for every single nutrient that we use for those who are, like me, nutrition nerds that want to go many layers deep. For those of you who are like, “Oh my god. This is over my head,” I would say that the core message is that we've done extensive research and these nutrients have been utilized in practice with perinatal nutrition and health experts for decades. This isn't newly redesigned. We did design our prenatal vitamin from the ground up, but the insights, expertise, and recommendations behind it have been put into practice for many, many decades. Really, what Needed did was bring together all of this inside of a single product instead of previously how practitioners were having to say, “Okay, go take this magnesium and this vitamin D and this prenatal and this amount of choline,” because no prenatal had everything that you needed in one package. Meagan: Right. That is another reason why I love and trust you guys so much. Literally, it's all of the research that has gone into creating such a solid product for the birth community so I love that. Thank you so much for explaining that because yeah, it definitely is a hot debate sometimes. Julie: Yeah. I think it's good to have that. We love a healthy debate. We work with practitioners. We actually have now almost 4000 practitioners in our community. It includes OBs. It includes reproductive endocrinologists but it also includes a lot of registered dieticians and naturopathic doctors and functionally-trained practitioners. We're collaborating with all of them when designing products. We appreciate that some people come from different training backgrounds. Some people might have different skepticism and all voices are welcome. We want to have a construction conversation on this specific topic of folate versus folic acid, sometimes, the status quo argument is unwilling to hear the other side. It's nuanced and that's why we have a great blog post on the topic. Also, if you're just early in your research and want a basic primer on what to look for in a prenatal vitamin, we also have that free resource available on our website as well as a review of over 75 of the prenatal vitamins on the market. It compares the pros, the cons, and overall recommendations. So if you love your prenatal, but it doesn't have choline or it doesn't have magnesium, we'll give you those recommendations on how to supplement or how to get more of those nutrients from your diet. Again, we're really not trying to tell you, “Everything you're doing is wrong.” It's really about how you can upgrade what you're doing or make small changes on the margin that can have a huge benefit for you and your baby. Meagan: Yeah. I was going to say, All I can see is that it's an improvement. We're making improvements. We grow and make improvements in everything in our day-to-day lives. This is one that is really important so that's why we're doing this today. We're sharing this so we can make improvements. Sometimes just it's just small tweaks to benefit ourselves. Okay, so now we're talking about all of the things that we really should be looking for nutrient-wise during pregnancy. Are there any nutrients we really should be avoiding taking during pregnancy and through your guys' research, have there been some of those ingredients even in prenatals out there? We were just talking about folic acid and folate, but are there any where you are like, “Okay, if you see this, this is one of those tweaks that you really should make”?Julie: Yeah, it's a great question. We talked about folic acid. We would suggest avoiding that nutrient. The other very common nutrient form that we suggest avoiding is a form of B12 called cyanocabalamin. It's easy to remember because it's actually derived from a cyanide molecule. There is just not research to substantiate. It's a synthetic nutrient form. It doesn't exist in nature and there's not safety data to suggest why you'd want to consume cyanocabalamin. We're leveraged the two naturally-occuring active forms, methocobalamin and adenosylcobalamin. We use those in a 50-50 ratio. Try to avoid cyanide if you can. Try to avoid synthetic folic acid. We're always using nutrient forms that exist in nature and we think that that's the best way to make sure that we're on the side of safety. It's often contrary to cost. Those synthetic nutrient forms tend to be cost-effective but they really don't necessarily perform as nature intended. Meagan: Right. Julie: And then another one that's maybe a little counterintuitive or nuanced is the nutrient iron. Most prenatal vitamins have iron in them. We chose not to include iron in our prenatal for a few reasons. Iron is absolutely an essential nutrient for pregnancy and postpartum. It supports your blood volume. Your blood volume effectively doubles in pregnancy and you lose blood postpartum. It's a super important nutrient for avoiding anemia and for just overall blood volume expansion during pregnancy. The reason to not include it in a prenatal is that your needs vary by trimester or by stage. We wanted to make a prenatal vitamin that was safe to take before, during, and after pregnancy and safe for all women to be taking. Iron also competes with calcium and other nutrients for absorption in the body. Oftentimes, prenatals will just include both calcium and iron and you can be pretty well-assured that the calcium that you're taking isn't going to be absorbed in that case. Or sometimes they just leave calcium but they don't tell you that you should take calcium at a different time of day. We've kept calcium in our prenatal and we offer iron as a separate add-on. The advantage of that is that you can take exactly what you need. If you've done any iron testing, which is pretty common in pregnancy, you can tailor the dosage to your ferritin levels. That's the type of iron testing we recommend. And then taking it at a different time of day ensures you're absorbing all of the calcium that you need as well as all of the iron that you need. We like delivering iron in the kelated form bound to glycine. It's much gentler on the stomach. A lot of prenatals have a really high dose of iron in a form that's not well-absorbed. It can cause GI issues and then women will stop taking their prenatal because they say it makes them nauseous. Meagan: Yes!Julie: There are many reasons why we think that iron in a prenatal is suboptimal. I think if you don't know that information, you might scan prenatals like Needed's and say, “Oh, it doesn't include iron. That's a problem,” and it's actually a really intentional choice so I like to call that nutrient out. Meagan: I love that you talked about that because as a doula, we actually do have a lot of clients who pee on a stick, see it's positive, and start looking for a prenatal. We have clients that do hire us in that stage and we're always there for our clients. They'll be writing us and be like, “We're just so sick and it seems to be after I take my prenatal,” so they stop taking their prenatal because it makes them sick or their nausea gets so intense when in fact, it's not what we should be viewing. Again, not to shame anyone if you've stopped taking your prenatal. We should be taking our prenatal, but we don't think about that. I love that you guys have done that. I've been sharing it since I learned about this. I've been sharing that with my clients really early on because I think it's really important. Something also I love about your products is that there is a lot that can help with nausea as well. Julie: Yeah. I'm glad you mentioned that because that's one of the key reasons why it's really, really beneficial to start taking a prenatal vitamin before you try to conceive. We suggest up to 6-12 months before conception getting on a high-quality prenatal vitamin for a couple of reasons. One is that it can support cycle regularity so ovulation and healthy ovulation. It can also support egg quality. We have now a separate add-on, egg quality support, which is amazing in helping your egg follicles as they mature into egg cells before ovulation which is great. And then it can help you to build up your nutrient stores. Oftentimes, and I've been there. I've had first-trimester nausea despite all of my best attempts and taking all of the right supplements. Sometimes it just happens. You can minimize nausea by having adequate nutrient stores prior to conceiving. And then if you do find yourself with severe nausea in the first trimester, if your nutrient levels are optimal pre-conception, it's more tolerable to skip a day or two of your prenatal vitamin because your levels were already in a great range before so your body has enough nutrient stores. I'm not advocating not taking your prenatal in the first trimester, but if life happens and you skip some days, the fact that you started early on means that your body is going to have enough of those nutrients to draw upon to get you through to the second trimester when hopefully you're feeling much better. Meagan: Right. If we have really bad nausea and vomiting and we're throwing up all of the time, we're also losing nutrients, so it's a whole cycle. It all goes together. Julie: Yep. It sure does. It sure does. Not to push our products, that's not what this is about, but I would say hydration, hydration, hydration for nausea. We have hydration support if you are interested at all in trying it, I suggest trying it. It has the right nutrient ratios for pregnancy. It's made without artificial sweeteners. It just has monk fruit which is naturally occurring. It comes in three flavors, three very first-trimester-friendly flavors. They are citrusy so grapefruit, lime, and lemon. But you can also make hydration stuff at home. You can just take a glass of water and put in some sea salt. You can add a squeeze of lemon. You can add in– you probably have your own recipe for a labor aid, but that's another use of our hydration support during labor. Hydration can really impact. It's like the chicken and the egg. “I'm nauseous. I don't want to drink water. Water makes me nauseous,” but also if you're dehydrated, nausea is worse. I would really recommend trying to stay hydrated during the first trimester if you can. Meagan: Yeah, absolutely. From the first trimester to the end, sometimes we can have early prodromal labor and stuff like that when we're actually dehydrated. Julie: Exactly. Meagan: It's just so, so, so important the whole time. Julie: And just to support that blood volume expansion that we were talking about that takes place in the second and third trimester. It has to come from nutrients but largely water. Your amniotic fluid levels increase. Sometimes they decrease too and they risk you out of a VBAC or a home birth and the things that you want for your birth outcome. So yeah. Hydration is key. It's your mom's advice, “Make sure you're drinking enough water,” but it's really true. Meagan: It really is true. My kids all roll their eyes at me. They're really big into sports and I'm like, “No, your body, your muscles, and everything needs that hydration.” Okay, so we've talked about when it's good. We've talked about taking it before. One of the questions is, “Oh, I've had my baby. I'm done with my prenatal vitamin, right?” But we talked a little bit and skimmed the surface about why it is important to take it during breastfeeding. We talked a little bit about how it's still depleting our bodies, but after having a baby, how long should we be taking these? Then if we want a close baby, is it something that we should just continue?Julie: Yeah. Yeah, great questions. The minimum that we would recommend is 6 months after delivery and that is whether or not you are breastfeeding. So from your choice or from how things turn out and you aren't lactating, it's still beneficial to give your body that time to replenish because pregnancy and labor are really depleting events on the body. It just takes time to rebuild those nutrient stores. That's the minimum. So yes. Please, keep taking a prenatal vitamin postnatally. There are postnatal vitamins on the market. Generally, that is a marketing differentiation, not a product-quality differentiation. Most postnatal vitamins are almost identical to their prenatal counterparts except for a couple of nutrients where they take maybe 25mg more vitamin C which is less than you would get from one strawberry. It's basically a marketing play. We skipped that step and we just offer one prenatal vitamin that's appropriate for the entire perinatal, before, during, and after stage. And then if you are breastfeeding or pumping or otherwise producing milk, we recommend staying on a prenatal vitamin for that full duration of time. If you can give your body a couple of months once you stop lactating, that's really beneficial for the same reasons we just discussed. It gives your body a chance to recuperate. There is a concept known as the recuperative interval when we're thinking about pregnancy spacing if you're having multiple kids. I myself did not do this. I breastfed my first daughter basically until the day my second daughter was born. Maybe not optimal– optimal in some ways, not optimal in others. Meagan: Really common, though. Julie: Really common. Yep. Meagan: A lot of people do it and then they want to feed both babies. Julie: Exactly. Or maybe you can breastfeed until you're pregnant with the second. In any event, that is a reason why you should keep taking your prenatal vitamin because it ensures that your body has enough nutrients to give to your baby. Basically, the order of operations is going to be growing baby gets first, older baby gets second, and mom gets last. So if you are nursing while pregnant, if you are tandem feeding, that's what your body is going to do. It's evolutionary. Your body is really smart. Except for in the example that we talked about in the recording about severe postpartum hemorrhaging, your body's first priority will be surviving but second to that, your body is going to give to baby before it gives to older baby before it gives to itself. Make sure to take your prenatal vitamin all throughout. I think that's a general misunderstanding. A lot of women are like, “I'm not pregnant anymore.” Men, when looking at the category when Ryan and I were starting the company, they're like, “It's 9 months. You're going to have a customer for a maximum of 9 months.” We were like, “Just frankly, you're wrong,” because this is a life stage that women are in for five years, or seven years, or ten years. It's a much longer life stage when you account for trying to conceive, pregnancy, postpartum, breastfeeding, trying again, or preparing to conceive again. That's why this is a consequential decision and taking care of your body during those five or ten or one or two really intensive nutritional years can set you up for long-term health and your babies up for long-term health for the rest of their life. Meagan: Yeah, absolutely. I was one of those after my first. My provider didn't say, “Continue taking these vitamins.” That wasn't even a discussion. It was, “How are you feeling? What birth control would you like?” That's really the conversation that we had. Again, we're not shaming the provider for that but that's just following the script. “Okay. We're six weeks. This is what we're doing.” I just needed so much more. Julie: At six weeks, honestly, nutritionally depletion-wise, you are nowhere near recovered even if your scar is healing well from a Cesarean or if your stitches are healing well from a vaginal delivery. Emotionally and physically, we are very much postpartum at that point. Even at the stage I am now at 9 months postpartum, this is still postpartum. We call it the fourth trimester sometimes which at least allows for three months, but in a lot of years, it's two years after having a baby that your body is still returning to homeostasis, whatever that homeostasis is for you. Meagan: Right, and then by then, we're kind of entering that prenatal stage again. Julie: You could be. Exactly. Meagan: Right? A lot of people are. I love this. Okay, so a couple more questions. I know we are kind of running out of time, but collagen is a big thing that I never really heard about when I was pregnant. The words didn't even come out of anyone's mouth. I honestly didn't even read it online. You guys have prenatal protein collagen or collagen protein. I think it's important to talk about that too because it can impact us in a really positive way not only during but especially after healing from surgery or anything. We've got tissues that are healing so I don't know if you'd like to share a little bit about the protein. Julie: I'd love to. I think that this is something that we are super passionate about and something I learned a lot about when we were in the formulation stage. We know that protein requirements increase substantially in pregnancy. You need 80-100g of protein a day. That is the low end of the range. There is newer research showing that you need upwards of 140g of protein a day. That's a lot to hit when you're pregnant. Those needs are there because you're growing a baby obviously. Amino acids are the building blocks of life, the organ that you're growing, the placenta, and blood sugar regulation. Especially as your blood volume is expanding, protein is really important for stabilizing blood sugar and for a lot of other things. We love collagen proteins specifically because it's a single ingredient. It's really cleanly sourced. Plant-based proteins can be high in heavy metals whereas we don't find that to be the case with collagen protein. The amino acids in collagen protein are specifically really beneficial for pregnancy. Two of them, glycine and proline, are conditionally essential meaning that your body can't synthesize them on their own. They have to be consumed by food and many of us are not consuming the foods that are high in glycine and proline like the carcasses of animals and the skins and bones. It's just not very common, especially in pregnancy. We tend to eat boneless, skinless chicken breast. Maybe some even have animal protein aversions during pregnancy. Collagen is an awesome form of glycine and proline and overall meets your protein needs. It's effectively flavorless. You can blend it into smoothies. It blends really well with our prenatal multivitamin powder. You can mix it, especially for those first-trimester mamas, into mac and cheese. You can mix it into just about anything to get some protein in even when you're feeling a bit nauseous. Then for postpartum, why it's beneficial is that your skin tissue stretches. It needs to recover whether that's because you had a vaginal delivery or a Cesarean. Collagen can be really, really helpful for tissue healing and repair and recovery in that regard. The last thing I should mention is that the placenta is actually comprised of collagen so it really makes a lot of sense to be consuming those building blocks when you're making your new organ for pregnancy. Meagan: Yeah. I want to share with you guys that I love it in my oatmeal. Julie: Yeah, that's awesome. Meagan: I put it in my oatmeal. I'll put some apples and a little bit of cinnamon and it works really well. I actually put a little bit of yogurt. It's amazing. Julie: I sneak it into my daughter's oatmeal. She calls it sprinkles. Kids have lower protein requirements than adults of course, but it helps to balance out their blood sugar too in a really beneficial way. Making sure she's not bouncing off the walls more than necessary. Meagan: I love that. I love that. That's something too I love. A lot of this is really good for kids. We could go into it. There are so many other products. There are a lot that my kids love as well. Okay, so the last question, we kind of talked about this in the beginning how we can get this through food. It's hard to get that because we're not typically eating carcasses and skin and liver, right? Julie: Yep. Meagan: So what are some foods that we can drop for this audience to eat that help us during pregnancy just in general and in postpartum that will help us in addition to Needed and other products? Julie: Well, I would say that in general, we are huge advocates for food. You can't out-supplement a bad diet. Food should be a critical component of your nutrition plan. It's just really hard sometimes to eat optimally. But foods to focus on during pregnancy, are lots of organic if you can, leafy greens, vegetables, and fruits. Eat the rainbow. I think some people tend to be afraid of fruits because of the sugar content and gestational diabetes but there is fiber in fruit. Unlike fruit juice, there is actually fiber in fruit. You can pair it with something like nut butter to add a little bit of protein and fat to help with blood sugar stability. Other things to focus on are prebiotics and probiotic-rich foods like kimchi and depending on your stance on it, I drink kombucha during pregnancy. There is a tiny, tiny, tiny amount of alcohol in it but the benefits to me outweigh any potential risk of alcohol content. Sauerkraut is another really great one and fiber. A lot of women during pregnancy have hemorrhoids or they're constipated so foods that are rich in fiber are generally very good for you and your baby. Probably one of my favorites when I'm pregnant– I tend to fall off the wagon a little bit postpartum because you have a newborn and whatnot, but I'm usually really good at smoothies during pregnancy. Smoothies are a great way. You can put our collagen in it or our prenatal multivitamin powder. If you are not a capsules fan, you can even take our pre-probiotic and add it or vitamin D. You can add in a lot of our capsule products. Just break open the capsule and dump the powder contents into the smoothie. That's a really great way to put in greens and fruits and whatever else– nuts, seeds. That's a great way to get in your fat content. That's definitely one of my favorites as well as depending on the season. If you're pregnant more in the winter months, you can make soups. Stir the collagen protein into the soup. Try to load it with those other fruits, vegetables, and fiber-type-rich foods. But I think we're really, really passionate about debunking some of the concerns around pregnancy like pregnancy weight gain. You are eating for two. It doesn't mean you should go load up on ice cream and pretzels and chips. Some of that in moderation is totally fine, but think about nutrient density. That's what you're going for both for you and your baby. It's going to help you avoid depletion, to feel better. Pregnancy, even if you're eating well, is pretty uncomfortable so I think eating foods that are going to nourish you and leave you feeling good is definitely the priority. We do share some really great recipe ideas over on our Instagram. A couple of people in our network that you can check out if you're looking for more food recommendations, the prenatal nutritionist, Ryann Kipping, has a prenatal nutrition library that is full of really great food-based nutrition ideas. We also love the work of Lily Nichols. She's really popular with midwives and doulas also. She wrote a book called “Real Food for Pregnancy” that has some great, practical tips for nutrient-dense meals. A lot of what she's recommending is going to sound familiar from this podcast like collagen and eating more meat than you might think you need and eating more. Honestly, I say this coming from the perspective of having been a vegetarian and a vegan for a long time. I think that you can do that during pregnancy but you have to be really intentional about protein and about nutrients like vitamin D and choline. It's much more difficult but it's possible. I would not advise undergoing a vegetarian or a vegan pregnancy without working with a dietician or a nutritionist to help you figure out what those nutritional gaps could be. Meagan: That's a really good point because we do. We know we all eat differently and we all have different allergies and things that have developed so that is really, really important to know. We are going to have all of these links that she is mentioning like the blogs, the recipes, all of this linked in the show notes. So if you want to go and dive in–Julie: Nerd out with us. Meagan: Nerd out and get your teeth sinking into this, then check it out because you guys, Needed is just amazing. Really, it's such an honor to have had you on today to be talking about this. Julie: Thank you for having me. Meagan: Because it is so important. With my first and second pregnancies, I was healthy-ish but each pregnancy got better because I learned more. Julie: Isn't that amazing that there is this concept of, “Oh, you're too old or you're subsequent.” If I have a third, I'll be a geriatric mom but it's so much more about your health span or your health status than it is about age in some ways you can have your healthiest pregnancy at 40 if you're doing the right things and taking care of your body in the right way. Meagan: Yeah. Yeah. My best pregnancy was the older one. The oldest that I was. I was the oldest in my pregnancy and it was my best pregnancy. It just impacts. I wanted to touch a little bit on what you said that sometimes we hesitate to eat or we are eating the right things. Women of Strength, if you are listening, I know that as a person wanting to have a VBAC and as a mama wanting to have a VBAC, sometimes we get scared of the world out there saying, “Your baby is too big and you can't have a vaginal birth.” I saw just today three posts in our community, “A doctor said that my baby is too big.” Then we sometimes tend to hold back and not get the right nutrients, right? Not purposely, but purposely because we're trying not to make too big of a baby because we really want this vaginal birth. It's all twisted and I don't love it, but it's really important to remember like she was saying, get these nutrient-dense foods in you and don't be scared to supplement. Don't be scared to supplement because our bodies and babies deserve it. We deserve it. Julie: Yep. And on the other side of birth, I tend to feel that bigger babies sometimes sleep better. They sometimes eat better. My second daughter was almost 9 pounds, but the first daughter was late. She was born almost at 42 weeks. I was so nervous about it, but she was a champion sleeper and feeder. I think there is a lot of natural wisdom in that your body knows how big of a baby to grow and your body knows how long to carry that baby for. But I loved this conversation. I think it's so important. It might not be immediately intuitive why nutrition and birth outcomes go so hand-in-hand, but they do.Oftentimes, what risks women out of the birth that they want whether it's a VBAC or just a primary first-time vaginal birth is a factor that can be traced back to nutrition like preterm labor or gestational diabetes or whatnot. We are very aligned on the idea that nutrition for prevention and for optimal outcomes. Meagan: Yeah. Yeah. I had a client during COVID who had pre-eclampsia. She got it at 18 weeks. She had a home birth planned and all of these amazing things planned. She had to completely shift gears. The second one, she was like, “I'm going to start trying soon and I'm going to dive in.” She did. She dove in and changed so many things and had an incredible, incredible home birth with her second. She was like, “I really do feel that because I fed my body and fueled my body, it gave back.” We know that sometimes we do all of the right things, everything, and still, we have undesired outcomes. But if we can do everything within our control, if we can do what we can within our control– Julie: That's exactly it. Yeah, I'm nodding my head here because we keep saying to ourselves and are starting to say more externally that there is so much on this journey that you can't control. You can do everything right and still have things not go as you want. That's just a reality. But nutrition is a big one that you can control so why not focus on the things that you can control and let go of the rest? Meagan: Right. Absolutely. Well, we will end on that note because I think that is such a powerful ending point. I want to share with everybody that we are going to have the link in the show notes, but if you want to go check out Needed and all of the amazing products because we just barely touched on a few today, you can go to thisisneeded.com to learn more about Julie and Ryan and go learn about their partners. My name is Austin Adams, and welcome to the Adams Archive. Today's episode is going to absolutely blow your mind. I have been diving deep into this topic over the past several, several days, and I can tell you I have never been more concerned for the future of America as I am now. Now, this is not about trafficking. This is not about politicians. This is not about, this is about the American banking system. Okay? Now, that may not sound very enticing to you, but once we get into this topic to the depths that we are going to today, You're gonna realize what I'm talking about. Okay. Now, what prompted this for me was looking into the Silicon Valley Bank collapsing. Okay? Now, that prompted me to figure out what the hell fractional banking is Figuring out fractional banking led me to realize that that is no longer the concept that we operate off of. No matter how scary fractional banking itself is, what we have today is even worse. Now. That drove me down a rabbit hole to figure out how we got to a point where fractional banking was even possible, which led me to learn all about the Federal Reserve, to learn about the Federal Reserve. There was a book that was written, and we will go over some of the highlights called The Creature from Jekyll Island. . Okay, now, that book beautifully written, um, there's some really good, uh, really, really good, uh, lectures online by, uh, Edward Griffin, and I'm gonna see if I can get him on the podcast. I messaged him today to see if, uh, maybe he can come on here and explain these things a little bit better than I can. But he's very, very brilliant. You should go listen to these lectures. They'll be included in the ck All right. If you're not in the CK already, go to austin adams.subs.com. You can sign up, you'll get all the articles, all the videos, all of the ish that we are talking about here today. All right. So without further a. Well maybe wanna do subscribe? , leave a five star review. All right. Tell me what you like about the podcast. Tell me what you learned about, uh, fractional banking, which again, doesn't sound very enticing, but promise you after you figure out everything that I figured out, your mind's gonna be blown. All right, so without further ado, let's jump into. The Adams Archive, the very first subject to today's podcast is going to be on the collapse of S V B. Okay, now, SVB is the Silicon Valley Bank. Silicon Valley Bank, obviously located in Silicon Valley, basically sent shockwaves through the entire tech industry. And that was right about a week ago, right? A few, not even a few days ago. All right. Through Wall Street, through Washington, everybody was shocked by what happens. Regulators have since shut down the bank to prevent a crisis in the broader banking system. Just days after another bank, signature bank was abruptly closed as well. Silicon Valley Bank, which provided banking services to nearly half of the country's venture capital backed technology and life science companies made this very the same mistake as many other banks. It invested most of its deposits in long-term debt like treasury bonds, promising steady, modest returns. However, the strategy proved shortsighted when the Federal Reserve looking to combat rapid inflation, started raising interest rates, making these once safe investments, far less attractive. All right. Silicon Valley Bank was also el uh, uniquely vulnerable due to its business being concentrated in the tech industry, which was experiencing a rapid decline in startup funding. As a result, its clients started to withdraw their money, and once some people started drawing their money, other people started withdrawing their money causing what they call a bank run. All right, now a bank run, so you have some terminology behind this. A bank run is basically when everybody starts to go line up outside of the banks, asking banks to give them the very money that they worked so hard for, the very money that they sweat bled, worked their asses off weekends over time to feed their children. Okay? And we'll learn about that fractional banking, which some of this has already alluded to already, which is terrifying, like I said. Okay, so now the collapse of Silicon Bank is the largest, since the 2008 financial crisis, the very largest bank to do so since. , which again, is only gonna get worse as people realize that our banking system is built on a house of cards. Just a little whistle in the wind will cause our entire financial system to collapse. All right, we're gonna talk about today some things like what is money, right? Why is it even hold value? Which is probably the most fundamental question that has one of the most concerning answers. Um, as you've noticed recently, I've been using the AI chatbot chat. G p T pretty consistently came out with their fourth generation of it today. Um, it's pretty incredible technology, but it helped me along the way doing some of these calculations to actually figure out what it would cause for the American financial system to collapse. And that's some of the things that we're gonna discuss here today. I'll go through those calculations with you. All right. It highlights the dangers of fractional reserve banking. When banks invest most of their deposits, they create more money than they hold in reserves, leading to a precarious situation where a loss of faith in the bank can trigger a run on deposits. In such cases, the bank makes gains privately, but losses are socially distributed. That's what you have to realize about this. When a bank is doing well, they profit ungodly amounts of money. When things aren't going well for a bank, you know who foots the bill? You and me, the American public foots the bill when they get bailed out by our government. So things are going great. They profit, you'll make a dollar. Well, maybe you make, you know, 2 cents off of every a hundred dollars that you have in your bank account based on interest. But when things are going great for the banks, they're not coming to you to pay you out dividends, right? But when things are going horribly bad,  and the government decides to bail them out. You know who pays that bill? And we don't even really pay it. And that's what I've realized from learning all of this. We don't even really pay it. We pay it through inflation. We pay it through the fictitious magical creation of money, which has no value unless we decide that it does again, which we'll talk about in a minute. So fractional Reserve banking to me is theft. It is a entity taking your money and putting it in as many places as possible so that they can continue to make money. They can give out loans with it. They can do all of these things, but the second you come ask for your money, while you and maybe your neighbor and a few other people at the same time, they don't have it. Cuz it's often these fictitious little places that they're hoping to make interest based on the fact that you're never gonna come ask them for it. At the same time. Right before the Great Depression, the US dollar was backed by gold. That ensured that the money in the economy was backed by something physical, something tangible, right? When something is backed by something, a commodity like gold or silver, right? Or even Bitcoin, right? If you understand how this works, right, the, the way that gold is created, gold is a, gold is a specific element that is created. And forgive me, I'm not a damn science teacher over here. Got a beer in my Yeti. So the way that gold is created is the earth puts together certain amounts of carbon. And when you get the perfect alignment of these, these elements, right? It creates what we know today is gold, right? Not fool's gold. Not all these other renditions of this potential possibility, but actual physical gold as we know it today, is a specific type of gold. Okay. Now that gold is minted, right? The, the earth had to have all of these situations happen simultaneously and in the proper way perfectly to cause gold to be created and to be in your hand the way that it can be today. Okay? That's what happens, right? The, the, the earth has a mathematical equation of circumstances and pressure and whatever the hell else it is, and then gold is physically created and minted by the earth. Okay? Something like, think of it, if you know anything about cryptocurrency, think of it like Bitcoin, right? Bitcoin ha has a computer that is working nonstop to create a bunch of algorithms and calculations to try to decrypt a or or mine a Bitcoin, the same way you mine gold. And eventually, after so many algorithms, so many computers are working to do this, one unlocks a Bitcoin and that creates scarcity. There's only a certain amount of bitcoins that are being created on a general basis. There's only a certain amount of gold that is being. By the earth at any given time, that scarcity gives it value, right? So during the Great Depression, our money was backed by gold. After the depression, the US abandoned the gold standard and became a fiat system. Okay? Fiat currency is not backed by anything at all. No assets, no commodities, right? And the fact that Silicon Valley Bank had basically uninsured depositors highlights the need for money to be backed by something physical like gold. And that ensures that depositors money is protected. It is being held physically somewhere to show that that piece of paper that you have is attached to a certain amount of, of physical minted developed by the earth gold or even Bitcoin, right? It has some sort of, of, of, uh, built-in scarcity.  that drives value, right? There's not, there's not an unlimited amount that can be created at the whim of any American who wants to profit based off the central banking system, which again, we'll learn more about in a minute. We're gonna learn a lot today. Um, the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank underscores the need for tighter banking regulations, right? We've seen several, several things that have happened, right? Like, um, some regulations that were rolled back in 2018 under Donald Trump, right? Some banking experts believed that Dodd-Frank Financial regulatory package intended to prevent such collapses and could have stopped this bank from handling its interest rate risks, um, had it not been rolled back, which is some opinions, but the bigger problem, the biggest issue. When we talk about fractional banking, which again, I'll pull up here. Let, I'll, I'll talk you through it. Lemme just go through this article with you. The collapse of these banks that says has prompted a swift reevaluation of the Fed's interest rate increases. On Monday. Smaller banks rushed to en reassure customers that they were on firmer financial footing, but shares of US regional banks plummeted. The b W Bank Index, which tracks the performance of 24 major banks, fell 10%, erasing nearly 200 billion of value of the banks. In the index, it says, the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank in Signature Bank highlights the dangers of fractional reserve banking and the need for money to be backed by something physical. The follow of these collapses underscores the need for tighter banking regulations to prevent such collapses and ensure the stability of the financial system. Okay, let's talk about it. What is fractional banking? Okay. Fractional banking was the cause of what happened with svb. Right. What is fractional banking? Fractional banking is the idea that if you deposit a hundred dollars into a bank, the bank can take $90 of that 100. Hold onto the remaining 10, which was the standard prior to 2020. The standard prior to 2020 was that the banking system had to hold 10% of the overall val value in reserves. Now, that changed, but even with 10%, think of it this way, if you handed the, gave the bank 10 a hundred dollars, right? Let's say 10 people gave the bank a hundred dollars, right? They gave out 900 of that thousand dollars. Of the 10 people's a hundred dollars, which leaves them with one $100 bill. The other 900 they gave away to other people in the hopes of making interest in the future. So when two people, just two people go to the bank at the same time and say, I want my a hundred dollars. give me all of my $100 that I gave you. That is $200 that they're asking for. One of those people is not getting any of their money, or at least both of them are getting half of it. They don't have it. They don't even have it for two people, let alone the full 10 people that gave 'em a hundred dollars. Right? If just two people went and asked the bank for this money back, they would not be able to do it, right? 20% in this case. Now what we realize, it is far, far worse than that. In the real world scenario. What we realize, excuse me. What we realized is that in 2020 it was changed from 10%. Just 10% of the money in your banks had to be held onto by the, by the reserves, by the bank, just 10%. In 2020. During Covid, they changed that percentage. To 0%. None of it did they have to hold onto none of it in reserves. 0%. Not 1%, not 2%. 0% of your money has to be held by the bank in reserves. 0%. That is astonishing. There is no federal regulations at all now that say that the bank has to hold any of your money for withdraws. Right. What they are dependent on is if everything collapses, then the F D I C, the Federal Something Insurance Commission, will basically has insured each each value of each customer up to $250,000, which again, we'll find out, is a complete farce. What a terrible word. Farce is a terrible word. It's like, I don't even like to say it. It's like saying fart farce. I don't know. Anyways, FARs is a complete, FARs is bullshit. There's nothing there for you to take in. So, so when two of those people in that scenario that I gave you, go to the bank and ask for their money back, and somebody's going to walk away with no money, so, so one person gets their a hundred dollars out, the second person goes and asks for 10 of it, just 10 of it. Now that person realizes that the bank does not have their money. They start talking to their friends, you know who their friends are. The other eight people in this scenario who gave the bank a hundred dollars. Now you have all other eight people, nine people in total going to the bank saying, I want my money back. But the bank has none of it. They don't have to hold onto any of it. And the scenario is actually far worse than that in today's world. After 2020 and that legislation changed. The scenario is now anybody goes to the bank and starts to ask them for that money back. They don't have to hold onto any of it. That my friends is fractional banking. And it scares the shit outta me, and it's not even fractional anymore. There's no fraction. The fraction's gone. It's fictitious banking. That's what it is. It's no longer even fractional, which was horrible. It's far, far worse. Okay. Do you wanna know how fragile our entire banking system is here in the United States? Here is the most terrifying thing that you will hear today. Okay. Chat, G P t concluded that if 2% of Americans, 2% of Americans decided to withdraw their money from the bank, at the same time, it could have a high potential of causing a collapse of the entire banking system that as we know it today, the entire banking system as we know it today, just 2%, two out of a hundred people, two out of a hundred people went to their bank right now. This concluded and calculated. The entire banking system could collapse. So again, it's far worse than that scenario that I gave you and let me walk you through how it got to that. Okay. Chat. G p T said we can try to make a rough estimation based on some data points. Okay. Now I had to do some finagling to give, actually give me this cuz I didn't wanna gimme this answer. It says, first it's essential to understand that the reserve requirement being 0% means that banks are not required to hold a specific percentage of their deposits as reserved. However, it doesn't mean the banks hold no reserves at all, right? They still maintain some reserves. Doesn't give you an amount cause it can't, to manage day-to-day transactions and withdrawals day to day, not week to week, not month to month, day-to-day. The amount of their reserves varies by bank. It depends on the bank size, number of clients, and other factors. To estimate the percentage of people required to cause a nationwide banking collapse, we need to consider the amount of money held in deposits and the amount of reserves held by banks. According to the Federal Reserve, as of September, 2021, the total amount of money in the deposits in the US banks was around 17 trillion. Okay. Assuming that these banks still maintain some reserves, assuming that they maintain some reserves, it says, let's calculate, based on 2% of their deposits are held as reserves. This would amount to approximately 342 billion in reserves. If depositors were to withdraw their money in such a way that bank reserves were insufficient to cover the withdrawals, it could potentially trigger a banking collapse, right? That's the other eight people, nine people going to the bank and saying, I want my money, because the other, the second person went there to ask for it, and it wasn't there to find the percentage of people who would neither withdraw their funds to cause a banking collapse. We can use the following formula. Reserves divided by deposits times 100 equals the percentage of people. Okay, so we take that 342 billion, right of the 2% seven. Divide that by the 17.1 trillion. Multiply that by 100, it gives you 2%. It says, based on this rough estimation, if around 2% of people in the United States simultaneously withdrew their their money from the banks, it could potentially cause a nationwide banking collapse. Says, however, this is a highly simplified calculation. Does not take into account many factors such as the variation in reserve levels among the banks, the distribution of deposits, and the possibility of banks borrowing money from other sources to cover withdrawals. Additionally, the Federal Reserve Act as a lender of last resort and can provide emergency funds to banks facing a liquidity prices which could prevent a collapse. Okay? Now what it goes on to say is that in summary, it's difficult to provide a precise percentage of people required to cause a nationwide banking collapse due to 0% fractional reserve requirements. However, based on this rough estimation of 2% of people with through their funds, it could cause a banking crisis. Um, it says that reme to remember that the Federal Reserve could intervene to prevent a collapse. Oh, don't, don't worry about anything. The Federal Reserve is here to save you. It's not gonna collapse when the Federal Reserve is here. What is the government's got our back. Hmm. Is the Federal Reserve a part of the government? No, it is not. It's a mixture being overseen in some way, shape, or form by Congress. But we even find out that that's not true. But it was, and you can read all about this in the Creature from JE Island, but we're gonna get into it now. Okay. The Federal Reserve has absolutely nothing, was not founded by the government. You want to know who the, the Federal Reserve was founded by? The Federal Reserve was founded by bankers, the very bankers that you know the name of, and you can probably take a guess as to who people from the Rockefeller family. Aldrich family, JP Morgan Chase. Seven men secretly met on an island in Georgia, concealing their identities, changing their names. They met on a private train cart to discuss how they were going to essentially take over the world's banking systems, starting with the United States. These seven men's wealth, seven men's wealth equated to one fourth of the Total World's wealth at the time, and all they wanted to do was figure out how they could take over the other three fourths. It's pretty simple. When you get seven guys in the room, why wouldn't you do that? Right? So let's unmask the architects of the Federal Reserve. And talk about why every single American should be outraged at this historical account. And here it is. As you go about your daily life, there's a creature lurking behind the scenes polling the strings of our economy. This seemingly innocuous entity is none other than the Federal Reserve and its origin story is as chilling as any horror tale when you realize the truth In the eye-opening book, the Creature from Jekyll Island by Edward Griffin, it unveils the clandestine beginnings of the Fed in the dangers it poses to our society. The secret birth of the Federal Reserve in 1910, a group of influential bankers in 1910 and politicians gathered in secrecy on JE Island in Georgia to hatch a plan that would forever change the course of American history. Their mission. To create a centralized banking system that would benefit their own, their own interests, while consolidating power and control over the nation's finances. This figurative meeting laid the groundwork for the creation of the Federal Reserve. In 1913, our entire structural financial system was built less than 111 years ago. An institution that now, now holds immense power and sway over our economy basically dictates all of it. The key architects or the Federal Reserve were no ordinary individuals. They were powerful cabal of bankers and politicians, including Paul Warberg, Nelson Aldrich, JP Morgan, among others. Their goal was to establish a banking cartel that would protect their interests while simultaneously controlling the country's monetary policy. By doing so, they could manipulate the economy to their advantage. Profiting from booms and bus while leaving ordinary Americans to bear the consequences. The Federal Reserve's very existence poses a threat to our society. Its power to  create money out of thin air and manipulate interest rates, allows it to control the value of our currency, often leading to inflation and devaluation. Moreover, the Fed's unelected the Fed's unelected officials operate with minimal transparency, making decisions that affect millions and millions of people without any public oversight whatsoever. Furthermore, the Federal Reserve's ability to bail out large financial institutions in times of crisis promotes moral hazard. Big banks take on excessive risks knowing that the Federal Reserve will rescue them if things go south, which is exactly what we saw happened with S V B. This reckless. This reckless behavior can lead to financial crisises with ordinary citizens left to foot the bill, which is exactly what I talked about earlier, right? When they can create money out of thin air, it's not out of thin air, it's out of future comfortability for the American people. It causes inflation, and that's where we're gonna see the result when they created trillions of dollars during covid so that they could pay people not to work, so they could shut down the economy for their own agenda to cause you to get vaccinated so Pfizer could profit off of it. Now, the Federal Reserve born from a secretive gathering of powerful elites wields enormous power over our economy. Its actions can lead to inflation, devaluation, financial crisises, all while operating with minimal transparency. It says, as Americans, we must be aware of the Fed's origins and inherent risk opposes to our society. We should demand greater transparency, oversight, de, and democratic control over this powerful institution. It's time for us to stand up and fight against the creature that has taken a hold of our economy before it's too late. And I personally believe that it might already be too late. Okay. It is so crazy to see how this came together and what, what this entire financial system is built on. Like I said, it's a house of cards. Okay. Let's go ahead and let's watch a little bit of this clip. And this is by the author

Thank you for joining us for our 2nd Cabral HouseCall of the weekend! I'm looking forward to sharing with you some of our community's questions that have come in over the past few weeks…   Joesph: Hey dr. I've been a huge fan for about 4 years now and I'm feeling great I take the dns and the dfvb everyday. I'm 50 years old and very active I play sports a few days a week and hit the gym a few days a week I had my testosterone checked a couple months ago thinking it might be too high since I'm so active and always feel pretty' good. When I got my results back it was the complete opposite it was very low only a 40 my health coach thought I need to work on lowering my stress so put me on adrenal sooth Is there any other steps I should be taking and when should I test again. Thanks so much for all you are doing   Wendy: Hi Dr. Cabral, I was diagnosed with HES (hypereosiniphilic Syndrome) in early 2021. My body produces too many white blood cells and attacks my skin and organs. It's a rare autoimmune disease that I'm told there is no cure. My skin is my main issue and I have been on many meds and antihistamines. Steroids was the double edged sword that was the worst as it helped with my hives/itch but gave me cataracts, thinning hair and weight gain. I finally tapered down to zero steroids and one immune suppressant that seemed to work until my joints started to hurt me so bad I felt like I was a lot older than 55. So I tapered off those and am now only on my vitamins, and healthy eating. My rash is coming back and nights are becoming sleepless again. Please advise with any advice. Thank you!   Jessica: Hi Dr. Cabral! Thank you for all the content that you put out. I have learned so much and am so grateful for everything to do to help the community! My question is about cyclic acne specifically on my back. I have heard that your gut health is directly linked to your skin. I have run a few 7 day detoxes and noticed it it improves when I run the detox. I also have noticed that the acne only shows up in the winter when I am exposed to less sun (I live in Colorado). When I have a tan and more sun exposure it almost completely disappears. I am taking about 2000 IUs of vitamin D in capsule form/day, have recently quit drink alcohol and have been working towards healing my gut. I was hoping you might have some insight on what is going on and how I can heal this issue. Thank you.   Chelsea: Hi Dr. Cabral! Question about infrared saunas. Whenever I use my sauna bag, my Oura ring detects a workout and calorie burn of 200 cals or so. Is this real? If so what exactly is happening here and is it the same stimulus as a workout and why? Second question unrelated - what's your take on hydrogen water? And when you travel, is there a portable filter you use, or do you buy spring water?   Anonymous: Hi Dr. Cabral, I have been listening to the podcast for years and it transformed my life. I realized that I am a vata-pitta dosha and that I had a candida and bacterial imbalance that has led to leaky gut, digestive discomfort, sensitivity to foods and environmnent, skin issues, hair loss. I started taking neem tea two months ago to help with the bacterial imbalance and it has been super helpful. I would love to purchase the CBO protocol but I won't be able to afford it anytime soon. Do you think the neem will be enough to get me to heal, in combination with diet, meditation and sleep? If not what else would you recommend in the meantime...until i am able to purchase the CBO protocol. Appreciate all you and your team do!   Thank you for tuning into this weekend's Cabral HouseCalls and be sure to check back tomorrow for our Mindset & Motivation Monday show to get your week started off right!   - - - Show Notes and Resources: StephenCabral.com/2585 - - - Get a FREE Copy of Dr. Cabral's Book: The Rain Barrel Effect - - - Join the Community & Get Your Questions Answered: CabralSupportGroup.com - - - Dr. Cabral's Most Popular At-Home Lab Tests: > Complete Minerals & Metals Test (Test for mineral imbalances & heavy metal toxicity) - - - > Complete Candida, Metabolic & Vitamins Test (Test for 75 biomarkers including yeast & bacterial gut overgrowth, as well as vitamin levels) - - - > Complete Stress, Mood & Metabolism Test (Discover your complete thyroid, adrenal, hormone, vitamin D & insulin levels) - - - > Complete Food Sensitivity Test (Find out your hidden food sensitivities) - - - > Complete Omega-3 & Inflammation Test (Discover your levels of inflammation related to your omega-6 to omega-3 levels) - - - Get Your Question Answered On An Upcoming HouseCall: StephenCabral.com/askcabral - - - Would You Take 30 Seconds To Rate & Review The Cabral Concept? Dr. Martin has shared before how getting 20 minutes in the sun is equivalent to getting 10,000 IUs of vitamin D. But some new research on vitamin D is showing that you also get something else. In just 20 minutes of sun, you also benefit from a release of some 200 antimicrobials. So not only does vitamin D help strengthen your immune system, it's also providing a natural antibiotic, antiviral and antifungal! This is just another reason why everyone needs vitamin D. Dr. Martin also shares about a woman who mistakenly took 50,000 IUs daily to combat pancreatic cancer. The woman meant to take 5,000 daily, but after 6 months, most of her cancer had gone away. An amazing story about the power of vitamin D!

My name is Austin Adams, and thank you so much for listening. Today, we are going to talk about some pretty interesting things that have, I mean, it's been f a way crazier week than we've had in a while, so let me walk you through what's going on. Colorado. Colorado, the, the entire state of Colorado just legalized psychedelics after the midterm elections that includes mushrooms, dmt. I began all of this stuff, so we will touch on that briefly. The FBI rated the home and seized the property of a journalist who posted legally obtained information about Area 51. Then we will also discuss Poland getting hit by a missile. What most people are assuming came from Russia. So we will discuss that. We will actually go ahead and look at all of the updates from what's going on there, as well as talking through the transcripts of Vladimir Putin in his discussion today. We are going to also discuss the recent announcement by former President Donald Trump that he is going to run in 2024, along with some crazy things that he said during that announcement that I do not agree with. So we will talk about those and why I don't agree with them. And we will also discuss the X Crypto scandal, which many people believe is actually been a front for Ukrainian money laundering back to the Biden administration and the Democratic Party. So that was all in the last. Two days , basically. It's been wild. So without further ado, let's go ahead and jump into. Welcome to Red Pill Revolution. My name is Austin Adams. Red Pill Revolution started out with me, realizing everything that I knew, everything that I believed, everything I interpret about my life is through the lens of the information I was spoonfed as a child. Religion, politics, history, conspiracies, Hollywood medicine, money, food, all of it. Everything we know was tactfully written to influence your decisions and your view on reality by those in power. Now I'm on a mission, a mission to retrain and reeducate myself to find the true reality of what is behind that curtain. And I'm taking your ass with me. Welcome to the Revolution. If you didn't know, I actually sat down and created one intro music for this podcast, the very first, uh, time. And, and by the way, it has been a year since I lost this or launched this podcast, which was October 20 19th of last year. So one year, happy one year to the Red Pill Revolution podcast. So give setting go.com of course, uh slash red pill revolution. Give saying go.com/red pill revolution and I would appreciate it. That's what I got. Usually I do it at the beginning, but I don't know, I guess I missed it cause I was so excited about all of the wild stuff going on, . So let's go ahead and talk about the very first thing today, which is that Colorado legalized psychedelics, not just mushrooms, not they legalized dmt, like they just, they didn't start at the bottom and just move their way up. Over the years, they just went like top to bottom psychedelics legal in Colorado from Proposition 1 22, which did get passed. I think that this is actually, I'm a hundred percent behind it. I think psychedelics, uh, have proven scientifically to have a large positive net effect on so many mental health issues. Uh, I personally have not done them surprisingly, uh, but, uh, am definitely open to the idea at some point in my life, maybe down the. I'm not interested in it at the very moment that I'm sitting here with you, but I do see so many positive effects coming out of this. I do see, you know, just from meditation and things that I've talked about in the past, I have, you know, reached those places that you can get to through psychedelics, and I've seen the positive effects in my life. Uh, and so I absolutely believe this is something that I stand behind wholeheartedly. I think it's awesome. So let's go ahead and read this article. This is coming from ABC News. Everybody's favorite, uh, news website? Not really. It says Colorado has become the second state. Second state. Oh, I was wrong. Second straight. Colorado has become the second state to decriminalize and legalize recreational psychedelics. Voters passed about initiative during last week's election, and it will make it legal for adults to purchase and used DMT or dime methyl Tripp. Dimethyltryptamine iga, mes. Uh, it actually excludes peyote. Um, they can also use psilocybin, nearly 1.2 million voters, roughly 53% of the total vote approved. Prop 1 22, according to state election results, it says, currently Oregon, Oregon, Oregon, depending if you're from Oregon or not from Oregon, you say it one way or the other. I think at least all the people that I've met from Oregon, say it's Oregon and all the people I've met, not from Oregon, say it's Oregon. So I'm not from Oregon, Oregon, Oregon. I don't know. Currently, Oregon is the only state, uh, to legalize psychedelics. In 20 22, 50 5% of Oregon, uh, voters passed initiative to legalize recreational psychedelics. Starting next year, Oregon residents can use psilocybin at licensed service centers. And not in their homes. According to the Oregon Health Authority, Colorado's ballot measure comes 10 years after it. In Washington state, voters passed ballot initiatives to legalize recreational marijuana for adult residents. Today, 21 states and the District of Columbia offered legalized cam cannabis for adult residents, five states, Maryland to Missouri, Arkansas, North Dakota and South Dakota had ballot measures in this year's election, the legalized recreational adults or recreational marijuana for adults voters in Maryland, Missouri passed the recreational, uh, measures while voters in other states rejected the referendums. Interesting, but that's wild. Colorado. Colorado is up Colorado leading the way, leading the charge on the front of this. And, and as we saw what happened with marijuana, they are just going to start a domino effect of all the other states. And again, I am wholeheartedly behind this. I a hundred percent approve. Uh, I I think if you don't, you should look at the scientific studies that talk about veterans ptsd. I think that you should look at the scientific studies that help talk about how it helps depression. Uh, I think you should look at the studies that show that you literally have to eat more than your body weight or some crazy, something like that. Not medical advice, Uh, and mushrooms to die. I'm sure it's may not even be a thing just like marijuana, uh, dmt, uh, not sure how that works, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't kill you. Like a lot of the pharmaceutical medications that were given, like Oxycontin, like, uh, you know, fentanyl, that they literally give to women in labor. Crazy. So again, I'm a hundred percent behind this. I agree with this. I, I don't see anything wrong with this. I, I do think they're gonna be setting up treatment centers. I believe that's gonna allow you to grow these in your home. Uh, as it stands right now, these are like, you get in big trouble if you're found with stuff that literally grows on shit and the farming pasture Like, why, why does that make any sense? If it's put on this earth, why should you allow a government entity to be able to tell you whether you can pluck it and throw it in your own mouth? In your own mouth? I could see if you were. Plucking it off of the cow patty and shoving somebody to the ground, forcefully opening their mouth and throwing it in there, shutting their mouth and making like shaking 'em upside down to make sure, I guess upside down probably wouldn't work. But you see the point if you are doing it to your own body, I think you should basically be free ring. I, I think you, you should, even if you don't agree with psychedelics, even if you think it's wrong, logically, philosophically, I believe you should be able to ruin your own. A hundred percent. If you want to sit all day and smoke weed and play video games, I think you should have the right to do so, and you will find that there is so, so social repercussions, sociological social repercussions to that that you probably don't like and eventually you may change what you're doing as a result of those social repercussions. People probably don't wanna hang out with you. People might think that you're a loser if that's all you're doing all day, but there's also some very high functioning people who smoke weed all day and make a bunch of money and do awesome stuff all the time and just enjoy it more while also eating snacks. So , I don't, I don't necessarily think that there should, the government, especially if we're ping out oxycont, And allowing the drug cartels to pull over fentanyl in boatloads, which I guess is coming from China. You know, I, I heard the Dr. Phil interview where he was talking about how China is manufacturing fentanyl, taking it to the cartels. The cartels are bringing it into the US through the border, which tons of people are coming over now as of the last two years. Wonder if that's a coincidence and then killing your friends and family and children with it intentionally because they want the demise of our culture. I don't know, just a theory, but it seems to make a lot of sense to me. If you were going to do something like that, why wouldn't you do it? Through drugs? Through the minds of the culture. Uh, from the inside, right. And, and utilizing the drug cartels. Why wouldn't we? You know, it just makes so much sense. Uh, I don't. But is that happening? You know, is is, is it in your kid's candy on, on October 31st? That was like the whole scare about that. I don't think that was happening. At least if we didn't hear about it, I'm pretty sure if we would, if somebody's child died from a fentanyl overdose from eating smarties while going through subdivisions on Halloween, I'm pretty sure it would've been in the news by now and it wasn't so interesting. Now, off the backs of that crazy stuff, let's talk about some other crazy stuff. The FBI raid the home and seized the property of a man who put out information that he obtained illegally about Area 51. So this journalist found photos, found information about Area 51, collected it completely legally. Did absolutely nothing wrong and still had his property seized and had his home raid by the fbi. I don't know how the FBI is still functioning right now after all of the un like crazy missteps that they've taken recently. The, the, the rating of Mar Lago, to which we heard puts nothing, absolutely nothing at all, came from that of literally kicking, like, maybe not literally kicking down the door, but metaphorically kicking down the door of a former president, which has never happened in the history of our country, of his home's, house. His is home, his domicile, right? Think that's the word, uh, rated the house of a next president, the last president, like two years removed, President and no repercussions to the fbi, and no repercussions to Trump. Nobody's even talking about it anymore. It's not even a conversation.  and here they are doing the same thing. Now to this journalist who put out information about Area 51, I can't believe we're still talking about Area 51. Honestly. Like we're literally having congressional hearings surrounding UA boos, UFOs, aliens, uh, and we're still rating the homes of people based on area 51 pictures. That makes, that makes literally no sense, no sense at all. So, Hmm. All right, let's go ahead and read this article. This is coming from Real News, No Bullshit, which always seems to kick me out of their website. Even though I am a member. Highly recommend you find several news sources that you, uh, you know, feel are unbiased and also, Not click Baie and also are reporting properly without any political bias and pay for their stuff, even if they're small. Real news. No bullshit at Real News. Not bs.com is one of them that I use and I subscribe because I wanna support good journalism. Now, I don't know if I exactly classify myself as a journalist, but if you would like to support my work here, I already told you how to do it. Red pill revolution.co or go to give and go.com/red Pill revolution. That's called a plug because I don't do ads. Nothing. Nothing at all for you guys here, so just me talking. All right, let's go ahead and pull up this article now that I have signed in and successfully talked for a minute and a half while I do so, and here it is. FBI rates home and seizes property of journalists who post legally obtained information in photos of Area 51. All right, so it says, Last week the FBI rated multiple locations in Las Vegas, in Rachel, Nevada, approximately 28 miles from the Nevada test site. Tied to journalist j Jor, J O E R G A R N U George ar new looks way more difficult than is probably pronounced of dreamland resort.com. Uh, a new our news website is a popular page that covers activities at the Nevada test site. He posts various photos and information related to the secret of site that he claims are legally obtained for his viewers to see. Posts also includes zoomed in pictures of the facility government aircraft, locations of military ground sensors outside of the base security cameras, and the notorious camo dudes who protect the military install. You mean military? Are they not military? A day before the FBI raid his own are new hinted that something could be coming writing. It has been brought to my attention that there is a concern about some of the material on the site. I do not believe that collecting or publishing that material is against the law otherwise, I guess sounds like they gave him a heads up. Um, photos taken from, uh, his website shows the camo dudes in the truck. Um, the day after approximately 35. FBI agents served search warrants at both homes and seized computers, cameras, files, cell phones, and other electronic devices. Our news said each location saw at least 15 to 20 agents rummaging through our homes in about eight vehicles. Needless to say, it was a spectacle for curious neighbors, both in Rachel and in Vegas. In the process, I lost all of my data. Medical files, financial tax records, passwords. Following the raids. Our new also raised concerns that the raids may lead to bogus charges being filed against him in order to send a message. I'm concerned that overzealous government agents may use bogus charges against me to send a message. Putting the truth out there cannot hurt. Hmm. Sounds familiar. Right. We had the FBI rating, uh, Mar Lago. Uh, we had them doing plenty of other little, uh, weird things recently that seem to be unconstitutional, including this one here. Uh, I'm, I'll be interested to see the follow up on this. Um, nothing too in depth there, but it is again, like I said, surprising that there's still these types of things happening, which maybe they just thought it would never come up. But obviously when you raid the home of somebody with 35 FBI agents, there's going to be some talks about it. 35. That's a lot of FBI agents. Hmm. All right. Now let's talk about the moer pressing issues. One of them being that NATO leaders are holding emergency meetings after. Allegedly Russian missiles land in Poland, killing two people. All right. Now this is again coming from Real News, not bs.com, and it gives a timestamp for all of the things that happened. And it, again, is making me sign in. But because I like good journalism, I will do it. Uh, so it also could be because I'm using Brave Browser. Brave Browser is a great browser. It's probably the only browser that I would recommend that you use because it hides all of your data, all of it, um, doesn't track you. Uh, you can also, there's a VPN built into it. Uh, then Brave Search. Brave Search is what I use instead of Google, cuz it doesn't curate your search results as well. So this gives a timestamp of all of the happenings that are going on here. Let's see how long it is. Um, and I'll kind of talk you through what the day looked like regarding Poland. And it's not too much, too much time here. So this says that at 4:14 PM Polish Prime Minister says the country has heightened readiness. It has been introduced for all polish services, including the, uh, police firefighters, border guards will also increase monitoring of Polish. Air, air, air, space. Uh, Polish government releases first statement officially blaming Russia for strikes on its territory. In the statement, the Polish government said that on November 15th, a massive shelling of the entire territory of reclaim and its critical infrastructure by the Russian military was observed for hours at three 40, a Russian made missile fell on the territory of the village of Presdo in Lubin Providence resulting in the death of two Polish citizens in connection with the incident, Foreign minister RA has summoned the ambassador of Russia to demand an immediate detailed explanation at 3 0 3, approximately, I don't know, three minutes before then. So are we looking at this in the wrong direction? It may appear. Hmm. Let's see. Okay, so let's start from the bottom. We started from the top. Uh, maybe they should tell you that nothing against you. All right. 10:07 AM two rockets have landed in the town of Presdo Poland on the border of Ukraine. They hit the grain dryers. Two people have died. No word on who is responsible. 10 14. Approximately seven minutes later, Polish Prime Minister has called an emergency meter meeting with top government officials reports indicating that two Russia missiles landed in Poland. 10 17 aid to Prime Minister, uh, says that he is holding a meeting with a national security team and top defense officials. The meeting is set to discuss repercussions of a missile attack by Russia Senior US Intelligence officials speaking to Associated Press confirms that two Russian missiles landed in Poland. Now, I guess that the bigger concern with this is the fact that, you know, everybody's been talking about World War. World War Three, World War ii, Everybody's been talking about world, the potential of World War ii. And if you know anything about World War ii, Poland had a little bit to do with it in the beginnings, right? Poland, I'm sure, uh, had basically got bombed and got pulled into the war, and the rest is history, right? So that's kind of some justifiable concern surrounding this action happening. Now, from what I've read elsewhere, some people are less concerned about this turning into escalated conflict. They're more concerned about it escalating NATO's response as opposed to Poland directly. But that's the concern. The concern is that Poland gets bombed. Poland gets dragged into the war. This sounds like it may have been a potentially. Didn't actually, you know, wasn't the intention to pull Poland into the war. I don't know why they would do that right now, unless they were trying to further move territories. But even then that wouldn't make much sense because they're having difficulty in Ukraine. Anyways, uh, it says 10 17 a prime Minister said there's gonna be repercussions. Senior US intelligence official confirms the two Russian missiles. Laia, as defense minister said, my condolences to our Polish brothers in arms criminal Russian regime fire two missiles, which targeted not only Ukrainian citizens, uh, but also landed on NATO territory in Poland. That's from Lafia, Hungary speaks out the Penta, The Pentagon did not confirm or deny the information. Now, what I would say is the most interesting portion of all of this, so it goes on to say that senior US official confirms to NBC news that something did happen with a Russian missile hitting Poland. They do not know whether it was deliberate or an accident. Then Russia response. Russia says at 1207 that statements by Polish media and officials about the allegedly alleged fall of Russian missiles in the area of the settlement is a deliberate provocation in order to escalate the situation. No strikes were made by Russian weapons against targets near the Ukrainian Polish State order. The wreckage published by the Polish media Hot on the heels of the incident in the Village of Pres Vidal, has nothing to do with Russian weapons of destruction. So Russia vehemently denies the claim that these were, their missiles says they did not fire any missiles towards them, so that that was, had nothing to do with them, and that they're trying to provoke this situation further by saying that it was them 1237 nato. Uh, Secretary General said that NATO is monitoring the situation. They always are closely consulting. All right, Uh, Poland says something, Poland, the White House doesn't confirm the details. That was at one o'clock. Uh, Let's see. Head of the Polish National Security says Polish. Uh, Duda currently is in talks with US President Joe Biden. Uh, now it is saying here at 1 27, Ukraine's foreign Minister said, Russia now promotes a conspiracy theory that was allegedly a missile of Ukrainian air defenses that fell on Polish territory. This is not true. No one should buy Russian propaganda or amplify its messages. So this is a he said, she said situation right? Russia. Russia denies it that this was their missile. And Russia even goes on to say that the missile was Ukrainian air defenses that fell in Polish territory. UK Ukraine's foreign Minister says that's not true and so on. Uh, two Ukrainian diplomats say that NATO ambassadors will meet tomorrow. Invoking article.  Article four allows members to bring any issue of concern, especially related to the security of member countries. Okay. Ukrainian news outlet says, uh, that the Air Defense missile landed in UK Ukraine. Hmm. Ukrainian News outlet interfaces reporting that Ukrainian KH 1 0 1 Air Defense missiles landed in Ukraine. So a Ukrainian news outlet confirmed what they were saying. Uh, the next thing that happens was at two o'clock, Ukrainian forces may have been involved in the explosion that occurred in the Eastern Poland to lure nato. That's from the Russian state. Uh, and it looks like there are some. Pictures of this. So it says, two weapons. Analysts are claiming that photos of debris from the missiles found in Poland near belong to a Ukrainian missile. The analyst note that at the end of a Ukrainian rocket motor identified as, uh, what is it, 48 N six DM Sam's rocket motor photos attached with thes. Ukrainian called these claims conspiracy theories. Of course they do. Uh, Poland has officially summoned the Russian ambassador after the missile strikes Polish media outlets reporting that government officials believe the missile debris is from. How convenient. How convenient that they're, you know, this is a, again, he said, she said, but it sounds like after that whole dirty bomb situation where the UN Security Council met about that, if you don't recall what that was, The UN Security Council was called into a meeting after Russia called them based on claims that Ukraine was building a dirty bomb to drop on from what somebody told me. I don't know if this is correct and I haven't verified it, so maybe not, was Paris and then we're going to blame Russia trying to bring other people into the war. Uh, Poland uh, releases official statements blaming Russia, and this was at, uh, five or six o'clock. Um, Polish Prime Minister says, The country is heightened readiness, right? Da da. So there you go. There's the story. Right now, we don't know who did this, who, where the missile got dropped from, who did it. Uh, it seems like it could have just as much been Ukraine as it could have been Russia at this point. Uh, but I guess time will tell and maybe it won't because again, we, we barely even have access to any of the contrarian conversations surrounding this, especially when, if I post this tomorrow, it's going to get flagged as misinformation. If you talk about the two sides of this conversation, one being that Russia claims that Ukraine air defense missiles dropped in Poland, the other being that Ukraine claims that Russia bombed Poland. Poland, obviously a NATO ally, uh, says that they believe it was Russia. Now again, all this is doing is escalating. Nobody is saying we deliberately bombed anybody. There's no, no foreseeable way. That this action gets heightened into, you know, what some people are concerned about. I don't see it. All right. Um, Polish president says Raq may have been Russian made. All right, so we already talked about that. There's a video that goes along with it. Um, now I would say, oh, here's a video where it allegedly shows that Biden says it was unlikely that it was Russian made, which means that it could have been Ukrainian. Uh, so let's see if I can get this connected here and we can listen to that, cuz I think that's a, a good one. And then we'll actually listen to what Biden's initial response to be was because it was hilarious. Hilarious and concerning on both parts, but mostly concerning because he's our president and not some random dude. Uh, so I don't know if I'm gonna be able to get this video here and let's see if I can just. What happened, Our entity simply goes out to apparently two people were killed. And, uh, and then we're gonna collectively determine our next step as we investigate and proceed. There was total unanimity among the folks at the table. We also discuss the latest series of Russian missile attacks, which are continuing the brutality in humanity that they've demonstrated throughout this war against Ukrainian cities and civilian infrastructures. And, uh, it's, they've been totally unconscionable what they're doing. Totally unconscionable. And the moment when the world came together, the G 20 to urge deescalation, Russia continues to, uh, is chosen to escalate in Ukraine while we're meeting, I mean, there were scores and scores of attack, missile attacks in the Western Ukraine. We support Ukraine fully in this moment. We have a. We have since the start, this conflict when they continue to do whatever it takes to give them the capacity to defend themselves. Mr. President, it's too early to say whether this missile was fired from Russia. There is preliminary information that contests that. I don't want to say that till we completely investigate, but it it is, uh, I, I, I, I, it's unlikely in the minds of the trajectory that it was fired from Russia, but we, we'll see. We'll, so this whole thing is still to this second being perpetuated as being Russia firing missiles at Poland and. Biden is saying that it's unlikely that the preliminary information shows that that's potentially not true, but is hesitating to say it because it doesn't fit their narrative. But they know there's gonna be so much blow back once it's confirmed that it was actually Ukraine, that they can't hype this up to be this crazy bombing like they would have loved to do because it's eventually gonna show that it was from Ukraine. At least that's what I'm taking from it. Uh, and, but let, Here's this clip. This was earlier, a little bit earlier today of Biden showing that he will not respond on this yet, which is a bit different than what he just said, but this was just. So ridiculous that this was the response of our president, and then they literally shoo everybody out of the room. So here it is. Let's see the question that's asked, and let's watch his response. Mr. President, can you tell us what we know so far about the guys right here? Thank you. Thank you so much. Okay. So what you just heard is somebody saying, Can you confirm that, you know, can you talk more about what happened, uh, in Poland with the Russian missile? And he goes, No. And just stares at them weirdly as all of his handlers swooping and go, Everybody get out. Everybody get out. That's what you hear in the background. Everybody get out. Everybody get out. Keep moving. Keep moving towards the exit. Please move. Please move everybody out. No more questions because you asked the one that we don't want to answer right now because we don't, It doesn't suit our narrative. And that's the biggest problem here is they want to escalate this war. They would've loved, loved it if Russia bombed Poland, even if by accident, and now they know there's probably probably irrefutable evidence that it was Ukrainian air defense missiles that dropped in Poland that caused these two people to die. That was the actual reason. So there you go. All right. Sorry. Had to correct something real quick. All right, so there you go. That to me is so telling of what they want out of this. They want an international conflict. That is what they want. They want to get drawn into, They wanna draw the US into the war. They want the public support surrounding it, and they're trying everything they can. They're trying to, even potentially, according to Vladimir Putin, bring them in by doing false flag dirty bombs, which is just so, so beyond concerning. All right, so there's your information on Poland. Now, Putin did come out. And have a speech today where he actually said something about how the, uh, certain countries, Well, I'll just go ahead and read it for you. Um, he says, Good afternoon colleagues. Welcome to the meeting, uh, organizing committee. Today we'll be discussing matters related to preserving the historical memory, the ongoing or organizing committee that consistently devotes priority attention to this issue, which is particularly relevant today. So what he is talking about here is that he's accusing western countries and western cultures of deleting and changing history. I'm sure a lot of that's talking about the United States of America, right? Every time he's saying western cultures, he's either talking about, you know, us or the ue, right? So attempts made by certain countries to rewrite and reshape world history are becoming increasingly aggressive ultimately, and obviously, seek can divide our society, take away our guiding lines, and eventually we can rush and influence its sovereignty, essentially, shake it sovereign. Distortion of history. Imposing of myths in the undermining of values is often, it is often with these myths that de stabilizing states, nations begins. As we can see, a similar scenario has been tested in some other countries, including Ukraine. There have been attempts to target Russia as well, but as I have said before, we took resolute in timely measures to protect our interests and stave off similar sabotage. Wow. They have a whole committee in conversations surrounding, uh, keeping history. Correct. Interesting. Um, not gonna dive too much into that, but he talks about Nuremberg. It says, I would like to note that many initiatives rela related to this topic have been launched by our organizing committee. One of them is the no Statue of Limitations project involving a systematic and scholarly collection of data on the crimes committed by the Nazis and their accomplices against the civilian population during the great patriotic war, the very crimes against humanity condemned by the Nurnberg Tribunal. The scale of those atrocities were so egregious that at the time, in the 1940s only a part of the evidence reached to the court as it was impossible to consider everything. Today we are filling those gaps and restoring justice. Interesting. Let's see if he mentions Poland at all. Cause this was today the same day. We'll see if he says anything regarding that in like questions. Uh, no. It seems like two mentions of it and they don't have to, they have to do with Auschwitz, which was in Poland. Um, Okay, so interesting. You can go read that. I found it right directly at kremlin dot slash event slash president. And then you can look at all the transcriptions of his recent conversations. Uh, but an interesting one. So now let's go ahead and discuss Donald Trump. Donald Trump announcing his 2024 bid four presidency and the live event I believe is still streaming right now, maybe over by now, but it was streaming 40 minutes ago. And here is a clip of him stating his announcement. In order to make America great and glorious again, I am tonight announcing my candidacy for President of the United States. He's pointing at people. He's super happy. He's, Yeah. You, you and you. Yeah. We're gonna do it. All right. There was Donald Trump saying that he is going to run in 2024. Now, he followed this up with some, uh, very good statements surrounding protecting children, going after sex trafficking and some things like that. And then he followed that up with some not so agreeable statements on my end, I don't agree with some of this, at least this one statement that we'll show you in just a second now. This is off the backs of the Ron Des DeSantis situation where Donald Trump was just talking a whole bunch of shit about Ron DeSantis and Ron DeSantis came out and said, Hey, when you're in the, the spotlight like I am, and you're, you're actually doing things out there. It brings on criticism, which I think was a very studious response by Ron DeSantis. Now, when it comes to this side or that side, you know, I, I tend to, this is a hard, hard one now, I, I think that in the light of where we are as a nation, we need less escalation, not more, right? I don't know. I as, as entertaining as it is, as fun as it seems to have a Donald Trump 2024 presidential run and, and win for the Republican party. I would not be opposed to Ron Desant. Being on the card either. I think that the comedy is great. I think that the energy is fun. I think the movement is, is important. But I also think in an ideal world, what we need is not more craziness right now. Again, Trump's done some great things in my mind. Uh, a lot of the legislation that he passed, obviously the economy at the time was thriving. Gas prices, uh, you know, all of it. He did a lot of great things, a lot of, a lot of tremendous things. Uh, but I do think that in an, and maybe it's not even his actions or even his words as much as it is going to be the response of the general public on the other side of things, I think we need a deescalation of tension in the United States today. I think just, just looking at it from a, a step back, Right. Looking at it from not looking at, you know, the, the movement here or the movement there. I, I think overall as a country, I would like to see more empathy. I would like to see more unification. Right. And Biden ran on unification and we know that didn't end up being the case, but I would like to see a deescalation of tension. And I don't know if we get that with Donald Trump right now. I think we get four more years equaling, Lord, a 12 year back and forth of Trump. Than Biden. Than Trump then, you know, So I, I, I don. Now the bigger question is, could Ron DeSantis even win? Does he have the movement behind him Now, I I, I think polling wise, he did fairly well against Donald Trump recently in exit polls. Now, I don't know if that would translate right. I, I haven't seen stadiums be filled by Ron DeSantis the same way they have been for Donald Trump. I don't think that he's as good at marketing himself. Personally. I don't know if he's as great at starting movements. I don't know if his slogans are as good. His jokes definitely aren't as funny. , there's some downfall to Ron DeSantis. But I think in an ideal world, I do think that it would be a net overall positive for our country to, to, to deescalate from the, the, uh, sitcom that we're in currently between Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis, or I'm sorry, Donald Trump and Joe Biden. I don't think it would be a bad thing for that, for Ron DeSantis to take office. Now that says nothing against Donald Trump. I just think as a culture, as a country, it may be in our best interest to deescalate tensions, and that could happen through Ron DeSantis. Now, there is some things that Donald Trump has said recently, recently, being an hour and a half ago that I completely disagree with, and, and this alone will likely split the party and make a lot of people who are on Donald Trump's side really question whether or not they're going to vote for him in a Desant Trump election. Right? Um, primary is the right word for what I was looking for. So, without further ado, here's that clip right after I tell you that you should go ahead and hit that subscribe button. You should go ahead and subscribe. Hit it right now. If you didn't hit it already, I for give you, but if I ask you twice, I might not. I still will, cuz you'll still listen and I love you. But I would love you even more if you hit that subscribe button. And if I love you already because you're subscribed, take it a step further and really fulfill my heart.  by, by leaving a five star review, write something in it, please. It would mean the world. That's the only way that, uh, it really builds the podcast up and spreads the word. So if you appreciate my work, I would appreciate you working on just typing something, anything, whatever, you know. Gimme your best joke. Tell me your favorite episode. I don't know, just talk about it. I would appreciate it. Honestly, it would mean a lot other than that. Go to, uh, the Red Pill revolution dot COO website. Sign up for the sub stack, uh, gifts and go.com/revolution and donate. That would be awesome. And here's the clip that I'm talking about with Donald Trump that I actually disagree with. There's not been much that Donald Trump does in his, uh, Speaking about legislation that I've actually disagreed with, and here is one that I highly, highly disagree with, highly advise against. I cannot even believe that he said this. It saddens me for the, the, the party that has been the one that has been speaking. Sensically, Sensically. I think that's a word. I know nonsensically is a word sensibly. Sensically has to be a word. Anyways, let's go ahead and listen to this. This is Donald Trump saying that he would put to death anybody who is caught dealing drugs, we will wage war upon the cartels and stop the fentanyl and deadly drugs from killing 200,000 Americans per year. Agreed. That would be nice. And I will ask Congress for legislation ensuring that drug dealers and human traffickers, these are. Terrible, terrible, horrible people who are responsible for death, carnage, and crime all over our country. Every drug dealer during his or her life on average, will kill 500 people with the drugs they sell. Not to mention the destruction of families, but we're going to be asking everyone who sells drugs gets caught selling drugs to receive the death penalty for their heinous acts. Cause it's the only way. We don't need any more blue ribbon committees. We don't need, I don't like to say this. Highly, highly, highly disagree with that statement. It is absolutely not the only way to stop the deaths from fentanyl. To stop the overdose. Overdose deaths. Overdose deaths. That's a fun one. It is not the only way. And if you understand what's going on and the people who are dealing these drugs, yeah, maybe if you're ta and, and even then again, I think that it, it's such a wrong way to move this. You're going to divide the party right there with that one statement. Trump just divided the party. He's going to lose all of his younger base. You're gonna have 10 80 year olds in the audience clapping for that. And you're gonna find that every single person under the age of 50 at this point, does not think that every drug dealer should get the death penalty because you know, who are the drug dealers? You know, your guy on the street corner are the ones doing the drugs. And you know, the ones who are doing the drugs, they're the ones who are highly affected in low socioeconomic classes. That statement made no sense. And it's a, a poison to the party that he just did that. And I really hope he finds some way to draw that, bring that back in before 2024. And if he doubles down on that, I think he's gonna have some issues because that's not the way, that doesn't make any sense. It's not going to, You really think that taking somebody who's dealing a schedule one drug, marijuana should get the death penalty. You know, how many 16 year old dummies are out there dealing marijuana in the 26 Remainings or however many? 30, What is it? 29 states? I don't know however many states there. Our left 29 states that are not legal. Why? Because they like to smoke weed. And that's okay. And even if it's a, a. Different drug than that. I just don't think that's the way you don't kill, You don't sentence them to the death penalty. How many people a year are caught with drugs? How many people a year are caught dealing drugs and you're just gonna take the single mom in the trailer park or, or in the hood who's selling weed, selling psychedelics like shrooms and DMT and all of these things that are literally the whole movement. And you see that with Colorado, the movement is moving away from the war on drugs and Trump is doubling down on it. And that's not what the people want. And they've spoken over and over and over and over again. We do not want the, what was it, Truman, the war on drugs. Right? We, that is not what we want. And so I, I really do hope that he finds a way to pull that back. I, I, I don't think that that was the right way to go about it. I, I don't know why he would even include that in what he was saying. Nixon, not Truman, Sorry, I'm stupid. Nixon Nixon's speech of the war on drugs. That's not what anybody wants right now. Culture is moving away from that. Younger generations are moving away from that. We don't wanna kill every drug dealer. You know what they need? They need a good economic structure. They need, they need good education. You know what, And, and maybe you're stupid and you deal drugs, but that doesn't mean that you should be put to death even if you're dealing like fentanyl, Right? And, and again, that's, it's horrible. I hope nobody, nobody's dealing fentanyl. I think it's wrong. I don't think that you should be put to death for, if anything, put to death as sex traffickers put to death to human traffickers. Put, put them to death. Don't talk about the drug dealers. How about, how about put them in rehab and, and help find them jobs? Give them a, a counselor, because I guarantee you 50 to 70% of people, maybe not. I would say it's probably close, at least not more than this, of people who are actively dealing drugs are either a poor as can be and can barely afford food or b, are have severe mental health issues or a combination of both. The way of combating that is not by putting them to death and especially just saying drugs in general. Like I, I, I just think that's how I, I'm so a, like I have never heard him say that before and I'm honestly like that really just shakes. The, the movement to its core, even if he lost 25%, because that's, that's really close to, to a big enough. If he actually runs on that and actually plans on doing that, you've lost me. I'm not voting for you If you want to put every drug dealer to death. Now, again, I'm against don't, don't go. But again, drugs are so, the classifications are so stupid. How many pharmacists are you gonna put to death? Trump, how you gonna stop, stop Oxycontin, because that kills way more than almost every recreational drug combined. How you gonna do it? It doesn't make any sense. And for you to just spout off and say that in your speech, it was written for sure that was written into it, and you just think that was gonna be applauded into the election cycle. Like it just made no sense. And, and again, especially when you're, you're dealing with somebody who like DeSantis, who is going to run on, you know, logic. Reason and not these big, crazy statements. You know, it's, it's gonna be a hard, it's gonna be a hard time that he, that he finds himself in trying to run on. That if he, if he doubles down on that, even if he says it again, this is going to be the thing that spreads like wildfire tomorrow. This is going to spread like wildfire. Even more so than the fact that he's running, because that was a crazy statement that was so like, you know, how many like redneck trucks you like kill your local drug dealer on the back of their shitty truck, and that's who you're playing to. How many people have that sticker, like six guys with, you know, I don't know. I, I just, I disagree with it. I, I don't think that that's the way to go. And, and again, it makes me not even just from a marketing standpoint, even just from a, uh, political party standpoint, it was untactful. Highly untactful because this announcement was huge. It was huge. It was a huge announcement. And uh, and now it's tainted. It's tainted by the singular statement that he made that at least, I would say at least 50% of the people. And even if 50%, I would say it's less, it's less than that. Who think they should all be put to death, Even if we're talking about fentanyl, because again, the people you're doing that to are low income, uh, generally uneducated mental health issues. Americans, not the cartels, not the Chinese who are making it. You're talking about killing every day of mothers and fathers for getting caught up in the machine that gets them to eventually deal drugs because they feel like they have no other way to feed their children. That's who we're gonna put to death. That's who we're gonna put to. Not that gal, Elaine Maxwell's. Donald Trump isn't calling on Gal Maxwell to be put to death for all the horrific things that her and Jeffrey Epstein did to people. He's calling on people who sell weed. I don't know. That's my thoughts on that. I, I, I highly disagree with that, as you can tell. It makes me sad that that was even stated. I think it's really gonna throw a wrench in the party if he runs on that. And, uh, I guess time will tell, right? As always, time will tell. But I really think that that was highly detrimental to his speech today to what should have been a celebration turned into a mockery and a negative mark on Trump's record by him saying that singular statement. And again, I voted for Trump. Voted for Trump twice. And obviously in light of Joe Biden and, you know, the, the Hillary Clinton, like what are you gonna do in a society that's trying to turn your children into trans kitty cat, uh, litter box using  students and I guess Joe or, uh, Joe Rogan, different Joe than Joe Biden talking about that, I talked about that a few episodes ago, how Joe Rogan talked about the, the kitty litter, uh, situation in a, in a student's bathroom. And, uh, he, he didn't exactly like, apologize and say that I was wrong. He was like, Nope, this dude actually told me that. And he called to like, verify with him and all that type of thing, but he kind of walked it back a little bit. But I have family too that said the same thing. And, and I don't know, maybe it's just this weird wildfire, like, you know, but thing, but I have people that I know in my family that said that this same situation happened in North Carolina. So if I was wrong for perpetuating that, Ben, shame on me. Um, but it wouldn't surprise me and that's sad enough, right? That is sad enough. All right, so the last thing that we're gonna close out on here is going to be FTX FTX filed for bankruptcy. If you don't know what FTX is, it was a cryptocurrency and cryptocurrency exchange that recently filed for bankruptcy, and now where they get gets really squirrly is the fact that the CEO of FTX do was the number five donor to Joe Biden's campaign donating $50 million to Joe Biden during his running for president, the number five donor. Do you know who number one was, by the way? Take a guess. Take a guess who the number one donor was to Joe Biden's political campaign. Just one teeny little guess. If you started hearing Star Wars in the background, it was George Soros. Yes, it was George Soros. George Soros was the number one donor, and if that tells you anything about the number five donor was this weirdo who started ftx, and now there is all of these situations. Even Elon Musk came out and said it's a little bit fishy that Ukraine invested billions of dollars of your tax dollars into ftx. Which then allegedly was siphoned off back to the Democratic Party. So when we're talking about these, these, uh, the, the shuffling of money by the Biden administration, the, the, I don't know how, like hundreds of billions of dollars that we've were at, at this point, uh, of the money that we've sent over to Ukraine. I don't know what the exact figure is, but I'm sure we can find it out. Let's read this article. Okay. Now, this is not coming from one that I'm familiar with, but it did seem to have some good information and it kind of conglomerated all of the tweets and everything on that. So, uh, verify some of this for yourself and we'll actually listen to some of this video here, if I can get it connected. But, uh, we'll read this together. I do think that you should, um, do your own work on this, because I, I, I'm honestly, it's, it's so crazy that I want you to go study it yourself. I, I don't wanna be the only purveyor of information here because this could literally be the one thing that takes down. The, the money laundering scheme, that is the Biden administration and the Democratic Party because they donated so much money, so much money, and then all of a sudden they file for bankruptcy out of nowhere. And then, you know, meanwhile, all of this money was being shuffled back through FTX from Ukraine, who invested the money that you gave them to fight this war against Russia, into this cryptocurrency that eventually went completely bankrupt this exchange, which went completely bankrupt and for no reason, which didn't make any sense. So let's, let's read through this. A lot of people lost a lot of money. Like billions of dollars of Americans' money was lost during this weird little shuffling of, of money here. Uh, so while this connects to my Bluetooth, And there it is. Look at that on the fly. That's how good I am after 51 episodes. Um, we will go ahead and read through this. So this is coming from Breaking Digest. Again, I don't claim this to be the most, uh, you know, scientific of articles. Um, so do the work on yourself, but I thought they did a good job conglomerating all of the information on this in the way that you would not see from the traditional media. Um, so again, this is coming from breaking digest.com and it says you've likely heard about the company called FTX recently. And its founder Sam Bankman, Freed who goes by sbf ftx seemingly rose up out of nowhere to become a crypto, uh, cryptocurrency behemoth. Last week, FTX went bankrupt with no warning at all. Shocking everybody. The crypto market tanked. Bloomberg called the FTX collapse, one of history's greatest ever destructions of. Now as we're putting together the pieces, we're learning that this might actually have been the biggest money laundering operation of all time. Remember all those billions upon billions that were going to Ukraine? Some of us suspected it all long, but didn't know exactly how it was being done. Now we're starting to connect the dots. Here's how it could have been done. The US takes billions of dollars of taxpayer dollars and funnels it over to Ukraine. Ukraine then puts those billions into ftx, which is owned by S bf Sam Bankman. Freed Sbf then takes the billions and donates them back to the Democratic party. This is not speculation. Sbf was the number two largest donor, uh, from what I read, he was the number five, but this says he was the number two largest donor to the Democrats next to George Soros. The Democratic party then funnels the money to people like Joe Biden and uses it to run elections. End result. Key Democrats end up with millions. Races are stolen. If this all ends up being true or even partially true, um, Potentially trees in this. All right. Now Elon Musk himself posted this and it's a little bit of an infographic, which in which he commented on, and this was two days ago, says SBF was a major democratic donor, so no investigation, and it's a kind of a quadrant of a picture of the CEO of Ftx, S B F, Gosh, that's confusing and stupid, who's a MIT graduate. Showing that from him went to Gary Gensler, who's the head of the F or the s e former president at mit, which then went to, let's see if I can actually open up this tweet here. Uh, which then went to the professor of Economics at mit, former boss of Gary Gensler, which then went to the CEO of Almeda. And Almeda was the, uh, basically a funding venture for the FTX company, which did market research and invested money, which then went back to. Sam Bankman Fried. Right? Uh, so that is your theory. Now let's go ahead and move through this and see about this article a little bit further. Right. Some other people said, while Biden Gang has been harassing and threatening Elon Musk and this company is one of the worst scams in modern finance, was being perpetuated under the nose by a regular, uh, while he'll investor and the second biggest Democratic donor. So yeah, this was Tom Fitten who said that second biggest donor, not the fifth busiest donor, Jack pob said it is increasingly looking at the Democrat. Uh, Democrats 2022 campaigns were funded by kickbacks from Ukraine funding using FTX as the pass through vehicle. No wonder this guy is scared for his life after ripping these people apart off. Wow. So that's the idea. The idea is that, and then let's go ahead and here's a good video on it that we'll read. Um, Sam Bankman Fried spent 40 million on Democratic candidates. He also donated 10 million directly to then candidate Joe Biden. Wow. And it basically explained how FTX is basically just a Ponzi scheme. Uh, and here's a video that says FTX 90 seconds, 99 seconds. Here is your explanation. Bankman freed people. Call him sbf. He's the founder of ftx. He also controlled the crypto hedge fund called Alameda Research, but that's all gone now. He wants you to think he's a sweet guy. He even bought in a famous YouTuber who called him the most generous man in the world. Yep. That happened through this. Sam Bank. Fried is a liar in a crook. His personal crypto FTX token was basically a Ponzi scheme hidden below layers of moon bro jargon. He even went on Bloomberg's podcast and bragged about it. Yep. That happened. He used his Ponzi token as collateral to borrow billions of real dollars that he couldn't pay back. He then used those real dollars to build an empire out of dying companies like Voyager and Blocky. This led Jim Kramer to call him the new JP Morgan. That's weird. It's not like Jim Kramer to promote a billionaire con artist. Sbf sold people cryptos like Bitcoin or so they thought what they really bought from SBF was an I. But as long as everyone didn't cash in their IOU at the same time, the scheme worked until it didn't. This other, A-hole who hates SPF came along and engineered a bank run with some passive aggressive tweets. It worked. SPF didn't have enough money to repay everyone at once, and now his customers have lost everything. He'll be happy to know that this is exactly how every bank in the world operates. So where did all the money go? He misappropriated 4 billion trying to save his failing hedge fund. Whoops, that's a felony. He spent 21 million on Super Bowl commercials, 5 million for the big guy, 40 million in campaign donations. I wonder what he wanted in return, and everyone who's pointing at this story and saying, This is exactly why we need to regulate crypto. Remember that SBF stole billions. That's already a crime, and he spent a lot of it on bribing politicians also a crime in order to create a crypto monopoly for himself. Government regulations don't protect the customers. They protect the crooks. That's exactly what SPF was trying to do there. You go if you caught all of that . So, um, there was also something in the balance sheet of FTX that literally was an investment titled Trump Lose. That's what we're dealing with here, is somebody who, that's, that's the direction that he went with his financing and spent $10 million directly to Joe Biden. Directly to Joe Biden. Um, so there was one more thing here that I wanted to see on this. Oh, the World Economic Forum. Let me go ahead and just pull up this article. The World Economic Forum scrubbed the FTX crypto story from its website. So they had a full page dedicated to FTX on the World Economic Forum website and. Gone now. Gone. Completely gone. You can't find it. Right? And this is again, coming from, they, there's good verifiable screenshots and all the tweets and everything of, of where this came from. Um, but this was coming from, uh, somebody who had a good screenshot of it on the World Economic Forum website, which talked about FTX and said, FTX is a cryptocurrency exchange built by traders for traders. FTX offers innovative products including industry first derivatives options, volatility products, and leverage tokens. It strives to develop a platform robust enough for professional trading firms, and intuitive enough for first time users as well. Good sales pitch so that you can fund money to Joe Biden. And just like that, it's gone. That portion of their website is gone. The day this happened, yesterday that, or two days ago, this was now gone, took. Got the money, the from Ukraine over to Joe Biden, over to all of the little minions of the Democratic party, and then scrubbed it from their website, used their website to build legitimacy. Show that, you know, and here's, here's an interesting thing about this, is like, there's another person who ties this to like pedophilia in some weird way. Um, I don't exactly know if I agree with all of that. Um, it literally just had to do with like the logos and symbolism, and it definitely lines up with the symbolism surrounding pedophilia that the FBI and the CIA themselves came out with showing the symbolism that talks about that and, and being the, uh, I think it was the logo for Al Meda, the scientific research and, and investment firm that was an offshoot that, uh, Sam Bankman Freed was also the CEO of. Uh, but that's a another story that maybe look into. Now here's another one that we'll talk about on this, which is that the FTX founder Sam Bankman, freed funneled max donations to Nancy Pelosi's likely successor. Hmm. FTX founder, and this is coming from Fox Business ftx, founder and ceo, Sam Bankman Freeman donated the maximum allowable amount to an individual can give to the candidate to house Speaker Pelosi's likely successor bankman Free made a contribution of $5,800 to rep Hakeem Jeffries in 2021. According to the federal election, uh, commission data, while the amounts was relatively tiny compared to the roughly 38 million, the crypto entrepreneur funneled to candidates and political action committees ahead of the midterm elections. It represented the maximum contribution in individuals allowed to donate to a single candidate under federal campaign finance loss. Now, if you have to, if you have to understand the kind of the business model of how this worked, FTX was not a. Uh, it was not a, all of the billions of dollars that people put into this were never actually sitting in crypto. It was IOUs. It was all blank. It was all fabricated. And he took those billions of dollars. 10, it was like $10 billion or something crazy that it was worth, um, FTX confirms unauthorized transactions as 1 billion in crypto, reportedly vanishes. There's another headline for you. Um, but he took that money and did what he pleased with it. And, and then what has happened was that the Ukraine and put that money into the FTX exchange, the cryptocurrency exchange, gave this guy, you know, Sam freed whatever, gave back IUs as a result, Then sent the actual money to the Democratic Party, to Joe Biden, 38 million of what they received. At least. At least. And that's just what we know here. Two days after what's gonna come out in two weeks. Two months. So, Let's go ahead and, but, but you have to understand how that business model works. The, the, the money that people were putting into this, the people that were buying cryptocurrency only worked if they were liquid and they weren't liquid in any of their assets. They put the money into the cryptocurrency exchange and then he said, Okay, sure, yeah, you got 12 of, of FU coin or whatever, . And then it didn't, they didn't actually hold any of it. They had IOUs that said, Okay, if it goes up and you pull out and we're liquid enough to pay you, then we will, But it didn't actually hold the value of the coin, which is kind of weird when it comes to crypto because there should be some verifiable transaction when it comes to that. But I guess when it comes to these exchanges, it doesn't work that way. Uh, so, or maybe I'm wrong there too, but that's how, how I understand this now, it goes on to say that according to the fec, individual contributors are only permitted to give 2,900 per candidate per election. Individuals may combine two maximum contributions into a single donation of 5,800. Since primaries and general elections count as two separate elections. Wow. $5,800. That's what we're writing this whole article on Jeffries was the only house candidate who Bankman free gave $5,800 to. He donated the same amount to various Democratic and Republican senators in 20 21, 22. Jeffries who is currently the fifth highest ranked Democrat in the House, is considered a likely successor to Pelosi when she steps down from her role as leader of the House. Democrats. Politico reported the New York Democrat is expected to have more behind the scenes support from the Democratic leaders compared to Adam Schiff. Hmm. Yeah. I don't know if I care about $5,800. Bankman Free's donation than Jeffries, though it was a just a small place of his over slice of his overall political givings. During the midterm election cycles, the majority of his 38 million donations were sent to a Protect our Future Pack in house majority pack, both of which were exclusively supported Democratic Can. . Now, here is the bigger issue with all this is Super pacs. Never have to talk about where their com, where their money came from or where it went to. That's a huge issue that nobody's talking about while we're sitting here sifting through this. One individual's 38 million, A super PAC could have donated 38 billion. Just doesn't have the the laundering scheme that was set up through ftx. It says Bankman Free's donations made him the second largest donor to the Democrats in the cycle behind only George Soros, who donated nearly 127 million. So to correct myself, he was the number

https://astralcodexten.substack.com/p/highlights-from-the-comments-on-supplement [Original post here: How Trustworthy Are Supplements?] 1: AvalancheGenesis writes: I think the bigger issue is that the industry as a whole sort of exists as solutions-in-search-of-problems...deficiencies really aren't that common, or even meaningfully health-affecting unless dire. (Fairly-arbitrary worldwide differences in target levels of IUs also remains puzzling.) Discerning customers can benefit from targeted supplementation. But that's not the median supplement purchaser, far from it. The median supplement user is more like...my former coworker who claimed he never got colds because he took 1000% vitC pills every single day, or whatever. At some point, the explanatory process for That's Not How It Works At All is just too long, so...let people believe things. Supplements are surely an easier way to sell hope and agency than most options. At least he picked something water-soluble and cared about proper hydration. Vitamin C probably doesn't prevent colds in the general population, though some studies suggest it does prevent colds in athletes, and there's some medium-quality evidence that it might shorten colds a little once you have them. The supplements I find more interesting are things like melatonin for sleep, ashwagandha or silexan for anxiety, SAMe for depression, or caffeine + theanine for focus. All of these are useful, supported by studies, and good alternatives to medications that some people don't tolerate well. I'm using mental health examples because that's the subject I know about, but there are probably examples in other fields too (probiotics for digestive problems). Some commenters chimed in to discuss supplements that have anecdotally worked for them (1, 2, 3). And Elizabeth's story here is also a good example of how I think about this.
