You do not have to be a quote “morning person” to have a morning routine. Nor does your routine have to look like anyone else's.  In fact, tip one is..1. TAILOR FIT YOUR MORNING ROUTINE TO FIT YOUR NEEDS.What is important to me? What do I want the most? What helps me feel energized in the morning? What brings a  smile to my face? 2.  BE REALISTIC.3. This Sound Bite is a combination of building on a previous episode which was Ep 83 where we explored intuition by digging into the Trust Your Gut of the book, Trust Yourself, by Melody Wilding, and we are gathering inspiration from Robin S. Sharma's book The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari.   Sharma's fiction book is about courage, balance, abundance, and joy through eyes of the character Julian Mantle, a lawyer forced to confront the spiritual crisis of his out-of-balance life when he has a massive heart attack right in the middle of a courtroom.   Here are the Takeaways:   1.   Thoughts are vital and most people don't give any thought to the nature of their thoughts yet the quality of our thinking determines the quality of our life. 2.   Stillness if the stepping stone to connecting with the universal source of intelligence.   We hope you'll enjoy this episode!   As mentioned in the episode:   Melody Wilding, Trust Yourself   Robin S Sharma, The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari   Ways to reach Yo: eMail  yo@yocanny.com    Public FB group: Girl, Take the Lead! https://www.facebook.com/groups/272025931481748/?ref=share   Linktr.ee/yocanny   IG: https://www.instagram.com/yocanny LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/yocanny/

Productive Not Busy- Do Life and Business Confident Focused and with a Plan

Do you often find yourself feeling that the world is against you and it's preventing you from living the life you want? If so, this guide might be the push you require to redirect yourself toward a more peaceful, happier existence. Understanding what it means to be a victim can be the first step toward changing that, and drastically altering your life. Identifying lifestyle choices that prevent you from moving ahead in life can also help. Getting in touch with how you feel and why will clarify the reasons why your life is progressing the way it is. It will also help determine where you could be headed in the future. In particular, childhood experiences and past missteps can complicate your emotional life and trigger feelings of negativity and helplessness during your adult years. Those feelings can eat away at the very foundation of your sense of self, and incapacitate your ability to lead the life you want. How you react or respond to challenging situations also reveals a lot about the manner in which you live your life. Do you live it with responsibility and courage or disdain and self-doubt? According to the Wordbook Dictionary, a “victim” is described as someone who is “unfortunate” and who “suffers from adverse circumstances.” If you take the role of a victim in life, you may commonly assume that situations will have negative results. Consider the following points to determine if you might be living life as a victim: 1. Your thoughts are affected. A consistent pattern of negative thinking follows you everywhere you go. It's not unusual for you to think others have it out for you. 2. You ask yourself “why” a lot. Why does everything in my life have to be so challenging? Why can't everyone just leave me alone? Why do others constantly make demands on me? Why doesn't anyone understand me? 3. You lament. Rather than look for solutions and consider ways to change, you think, “Poor me! I was a little surprised when I began reading The 5 AM Club: Own Your Morning.  Elevate Your Life by Robin S. Sharma.  I thought I was going to get a textbook like account of each of the steps required to becoming more productive.  Instead, the reader gets a story about a spellbinder, a billionaire initially mistaken for a homeless person, a struggling entrepreneur and an artist who isn't doing his best work.  Initially, I wanted the story to end so I could get to the “good stuff.”  From some of the mixed reviews of the book I see that I was not the only one anxious to move beyond the story. However, I was patient and, eventually got into the story and began to wonder.  Where would the characters travel to next?  What would the billionaire teach his two students?  What quote or bit of wisdom would the reader learn? I really enjoyed this book.  While it is a compilation of many different personal improvement theories, I feel that the author pulled this information together nicely through the story.  My only criticism is that it took a little too long to get into the tactics.  While I am sure that was intentional on the part of the author, it was a little off putting to me but I stuck with it. As I read the book, I was on a five-week respite from the Florida heat.  As much as I tried to retain my routine, I was off track.  Reading The 5 AM Club gave me renewed energy and focus to get back on track when I returned home the following week. As I mentioned, there are mixed reviews of the book but mostly because people were put off by the story format.  If you enjoyed any of Patrick Lencioni's books that impart wisdom through a story then you will enjoy The 5 AM Club.

We teach you a simple and effective method to read stock charts, keep your emotions in check and learn when to buy and when to sell. 44:43 Despedida y agradecimientos.

Who is Stoyan Yankov "A dreamer, action taker and passionate about living meaningful." He is a world class productivity & performance coach, a key note speaker and organiser of mastermind retreats to name a few occupations. Stoyan comes from Bulgaria and has moved in 2010 to Denmark to do his Master degree in Finances. When you think that you'll find him in a bank or similar then you are wrong. I would never have imagined him coming from the finance “world” when I met him. After his studies he started working in the film industry and had his own company for a few years before he moved to personal coaching and organising retreats and speaking. In our conversation he told me his path on how he came to where he is now. I have had a blast listening to Stoyan and was saddened when we had to stop our talk due to time restrictions. Our discussion was very deep and full of handy advices on how to craft your life, how to be creative and how to get rid of bad habits and create better ones and so much more. I am looking forward to our next interview, hopefully in person again. Here are links to the books, training and quotes we talked about. - The monk who sold his Ferrari - by Robin S. Maestros del Escalamiento: A podcast by the Entrepreneurs’ Organization

44:40 Despedida y agradecimientos.

[embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWQUWzuUBkk[/embedyt] I believe it's strikingly important to remember that when you know better, you can do better. With higher levels of awareness, you can make smarter choices. And the more clarity you get as to who you want to become, the quicker you can start making the choices need to get you there. - Robin S. Sharma We have all the choices around us to create our best in life, business, and our organizations yet seeking the perfect choice can lead to disaster. It can lead to paralysis by analysis. You would think choice leads to freedom. Choices can give us freedom yet for having too many choices can lead to anxiety. Sometimes that anxiety comes from worrying about what others will think. You may have heard the phrase, “What others think of you is none of your business.”, so don't stress over it. When there is an unlimited amount of choices or an overload of options to choose from it can lead to the inability to make a decision. Weighing the pros and the cons of a choice can be exhausting and anxiety provoking. Anxiety puts us on guard and directs us to play it safe. A little bit of anxiety or nervousness is not always a bad thing. It alerts you to pay attention to details and your intuition. However, sometimes being too cautious can hold you back. The front part of your brain, prefrontal cortex is responsible for decision-making – weighing the consequences and processing your thoughts. The prefrontal cortex helps release some of the emotional steam from decision making by calming the amygdala, a small part of the brain responsible for instinct (the flight or fight response), impulsiveness, and fear. When emotions are high, the amygdala goes into high gear by reacting to protect versus calmly responding. Decision-making can be impaired when emotions are high as rationale thought tends to go out the window. Focus moves from facts to feelings. Paralysis tends to occur when there are too many choices. You may have even narrowed the choices down and now you are worried that you are going to make the wrong choice. Chances are if you were able to narrow it down that neither choice would be the wrong choice. What if you made a decision that no choice would be a bad one or the wrong one? There are some things you can do before you get caught up in paralysis by analysis – basically overthinking things. Practice Mindfulness. When you practice being mindfulness, you pay attention to everything around you. You can pickup on things that are that may add to anxiety such as distractions and clutter. You can eliminate or avoid those distractions so you can feel confident in your decision-making. Identify Your Triggers. What triggers you to feel anxious about making a choice? How is the anxiety influencing your decision right now? Where is this trigger coming from? Past events. Childhood. Slow Down to Be Self-Aware. What feelings come up for you? Remember when emotions are high, rationale thought is low. What thoughts are you having? Be Intentional with Your Actions. Self-awareness is important. Your thoughts and feelings impact your behaviour and the actions you take impacting your results. How what you think and feel about your results impact your next set of actions. Act As IF. Why not act as if you were making decisions and handling situations with ease? Your subconscious mind does not recognize the difference between reality and your imagination. Better yet, think to yourself, “What would my mentor or someone I admire do? How would they respond to this situation?” Act as if and soon enough you will. What choice have you been deliberating on? Go through these steps to help you move through making the choice you need to so you can feel the freedom you need. The peace of mind knowing that you made a good decision and no matter what you have the skills and ability to move through your decisions with grace and resilience, if needed.
