Former Deputy Director, and twice Acting Director, of the CIA, Michael Morell, may join me in studio to talk about what's involved running the world's most famous spy agency. He may or may not comment on Trump's nominees for CIA Director (John Ratcliffe) or Director of National Intelligence (Tulsi Gabbard).Yes, Mr Morell is known by many for his signing the letter from former intelligence officials stating that the Hunter Biden laptop might have been Russian disinformation. (They didn't say it WAS, just that it could have been, but politically there was basically no difference.) Still, I know Morell as a guy who loves his country, who spent years protecting the nation, and who is politically centrist and unaffiliated.Michael Morell - Beacon Global Strategies

On today's show we open with the recognition that today is the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Today, Joe Biden once again embarrassed our nation by his shuffle, his awkward moment of half-squatting for several seconds, his cringy speech and then he completely ignored shaking hands with any of the WWII veterans assembled, instead being led out by the hand by his wife. Prior to the event, Biden did get asked to clarify the change of position of allowing Ukraine to use US weapons inside of Russia. Biden confirmed that policy shift, but added, so long as they were not being used to attack Moscow. While commemorating D-Day, an event to bring an end to WWII, he is continuing to inch us toward WWIII! With all we are witnessing in the current state of our nation, I decided to reflect on thoughts by Victor Davis Hanson about whether or not we are entering a perpetual state of lawfare? Is that what the Left really wants as our new norm? With that in mind, I tackle and handful of news stories and how they provide a pretty clear indication, that while the Left had to manufacture or significantly embellish anything Trump did, there is ample and evidence that the Left committed far more real and egregious crimes. To test AG Garland to see if he really thinks he is apolitical and non-partisan, he has been given a golden opportunity. Three different committees have all sent Garland requests to go after Hunter Biden and Jim Biden for perjuring themselves in front of Congress. Let's see just how “unbiased” Garland really is. Former CIA Director John Brennan thinks Trump should not receive any national security briefings now that he is a “convicted felon.” This should give Trump's team an immediate fast-track to the Supreme Court. Remember, Brennan was part of the 51 spies who lied. In fact, Kash Patel also reminds us that AG Bill Barr new the Biden laptop was real and never once tried to correct the false narrative while he was supposedly serving under Donald Trump. In light of the Hunter Biden laptop being admitted as real and not tampered with in his current gun trial, I play a few minutes of the news coverage telling us the laptop was Russian disinformation. Without a full culling of those who conspired to hide the truth and then lie to the American people, we will never be able to fully restore our faith in the FBI, the CIA, the DOJ and the Legacy/mainstream media. Former Deputy Director of the FBI, Andrew McCabe, was whining on CNN about Trump coming after people if he wins the White House. What he was really saying can be more easily translated as, “We came after him with everything we could, including making up the vast majority of the "crimes" and we still couldn't take him out and now we are worried he will come after us for our actual abuses of the rule of law.” We wind down with the Democrats latest ploy to shift the subject by trying to say the GOP doesn't want Americans to have a right to contraception. They buried things in the bill they new would never pass muster just to gain a cheap talking point in an effort to help Joe Biden. Finally, we remember the right way to honor the veterans of WWII by going back to 1984 and Ronald Reagan. There is a marked difference between the tones and the deliveries of Reagan versus Biden. NEW, PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN SPECIES OF 1,000-YEAR-OLD HUMANOIDS RECENTLY DISCOVERED IN PERU, TO BE PRESENTED TO THE MEDIA BY UNIQUE TEAM OF SCIENTISTS, UFOLOGISTS AND AWARD-WINNING INVESTIGATIVE FILMMAKERS DURING LOS ANGELES PRESS CONFERENCE TO BE LIVE STREAMED AROUND THE WORLD Los Angeles, March 12, 2024 – In January 2024, two award-winning, Los Angeles-based investigative filmmakers, Serena DC and Michael Mazzola, took a trip together down to Mexico City to prove that the “alien mummies” which had been presented by iconic Mexican Investigator Jaime Maussan in Mexico City on September 13, 2023, before the Mexican Congress were, indeed fakes. Much to their surprise, DC and Mazzola discovered that the bodies Mr. Maussan had presented there that day were, in fact, A NEW SPECIES OF HUMANOID PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN TO SCIENCE! Following Mr. Maussan's presentation on 9/13/23 in Mexico City, Peruvian officials went to great lengths to discredit his “bodies” by conflating them with “other bodies” – dolls, in fact -- which had been created by an artist. Then claiming that Mr. Maussan presented “dolls” at his event, the Peruvian Ministry of Culture succeeded in generating a massive amount of negative media attention around the world, discrediting both the legitimacy of Mr. Maussan's “bodies” and Mr. Maussan, himself. Today, at a Global Press Conference at The Mondrian Hotel on Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood, CA, Serena DC and Michael Mazzola were joined by Mr. Jaime Maussan, inventor Adam Michael Curry, Peruvian Journalist Jois Mantilla, Dr. José de Jesús Zalce Benítez, Dr. Roger Zuñiga, Dr. Ricardo Manuel Anicama Pardo, Manuel Natividad Cruz Torres, Dr Juan Jose Rodriguez Lazo, Dr. Edgar Martin Hernandez, Dr. David Ruiz, and Dr. Rafael Arcangel Berrocal Ramos who collectively refuted the claims of “fake alien bodies.” This unique Team presented to the Media and to the World that Mr. Maussan's original two bodies, along with an additional five bodies discovered recently in a cave in Peru, HAVE BEEN SCIENTIFICALLY VERIFIED TO BE A PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN SPECIES OF HUMANOIDS LIVING ON EARTH, 1,000 YEARS AGO. During the Press Conference, the Team live streamed scientists from four locations in Mexico and Peru who demonstrated in real time scientific analyses and live body scans of these never-seen-before bodies. Some of these bodies are even believed to contain some ancient technology, for which Metallurgical Expert and Engineer Dr Manuel Torres provided expert testimony. “This is a once in a lifetime press event, where reporters will be the first people on Earth to see these incredible beings and judge for themselves if they were once living creatures or ‘fakes.' After we present the mind-blowing forensic evidence behind these creatures, the true origins of these mysterious creatures will be open for discussion,” said DC and Mazzola. Regarding the September 2023 revelation of “alien mummies,” acclaimed Astrophysicist Neil Degrasse Tyson, on February 29, 2024, during an interview with 60 Minutes' Lesley Stahl, said, “We have to at least bring out the evidence. They did that in Mexico. That was an important first step – you present the evidence, then you send samples of it to other labs to verify or falsify your claims. That's how science works.” “We went down to Mexico to prove that these now infamous ‘alien mummies' were nothing but a fraud,” Serena DC and Michael Mazzola said. “But we immediately became aware that Peruvian officials and the media were pushing this as a fraud, not Jaime Maussan and not these scientists. Our press conference today is being presented to address all of the lies and misinformation about this topic that have been reported, around the world, since last September. Our goal is to hopefully set the record straight. These bodies are a significant archeological find – they are either an extinct, unknown species or the result of various genetic experiments from 1000 years ago, or something else we haven't considered. But they aren't dolls. And how could early humans have performed those genetic experiments 1000 years ago?” DC and Mazzola continue, “We have teamed up with a group of brilliant scientists, all of whom have been on the same quest as us – to discover the true origins of this new species. At today's press conference, our team of decorated scientists and forensics experts will be unveiling these ancient bodies, some of which stand about 4-feet tall. One of these scientists is Dr Jose Zlace, who has pointed out that “these tridactyl bodies correspond to biological and organic beings, with a harmonious and functional anatomical structure without traces of alteration or manipulation, being completely authentic, the DNA results corroborate their authenticity and at the same time demonstrate their differentiation to any Known species in Darwin's Taxonomy." Therefore, for Dr. Zalce we are faced with extraordinary bodies that could represent a paradigm shift in what is known and described by science as we currently know it. Dr Zlace states: "We need to protect these bodies from their natural degradation in order to preserve them and further deepen their study and understanding by the world's scientific community. These bodies of 3 different species are something extraordinary that must be treated with the necessary respect and objectivity so that humanity understands that we are facing something that could completely change our own conception and understanding as human beings.” ABOUT THE BODIES: The bodies of several unidentified species recently discovered in a remote cave in South America have just been analyzed by American scientists who are ready to come forward with their shocking findings. The bodies, which have been carbon dated to be around 1,000 years old, have had extensive scans and DNA testing done to them. The results of these tests have revealed these facts: ** The bodies appear to be the result of highly sophisticated genetic experiments that were not possible to be performed by early humans in 1000 AD. ** Mysterious DNA: Analysis indicates that 30% of their genetic material remains unidentified, presenting a profound mystery about their existence and origin.** Unique Physiological Traits: Exhibiting tridactyl hands and feet, alongside atypical anthropometric features – these beings challenge the very framework of biological evolution. Scientists are convinced that they have discovered a brand-new species of beings who were sentient, intelligent and who walked the Earth 1,000 years ago. However, there is no record of these creatures in the history books, leaving the scientific community with more questions than answers. In episode three, we discuss the work that went into building NMLS and the opposition faced along the way. Staff worked to harmonize legislative and regulatory requirements across state agencies, develop uniform documents, gather feedback from the mortgage industry and work out the funding and maintenance structure of the system. The episode culminates with a look at the debate between states on whether to launch and adopt the system.Producer's Note: In this episode, the host refers to the SAFE Act passing in July 2007. Thursday July 7, 2022 - The IRS is being accused, yet again, of political targeting. This time the alleged targets are former FBI Director James Comey and former Deputy Director Andrew McCabe. Both men were subject to a National Research Program audit (NRP). The NRP is run from the IRS's Research, Applied Analytics and Statistics Division. That division is directed by career statisticians and data scientists. Those chosen for an audit are randomly selected by a computer program from a list of taxpayers across the income spectrum to determine compliance levels with the nation's tax codes, according to John Koskinen, the former IRS commissioner. Current IRS commissioner , Charles Rettig, was appointed by President Trump. His term ends in November 2022. There was already talk of the Biden Administration replacing him. Now, some in Congress are demanding he be fired immediately. Attorney Steven A. SPEAKERS Andrew McCabe Former Deputy Director, FBI; Author, The Threat: How the FBI Protects America in the Age of Terror and Trump Audrey Cooper Editor in Chief, San Francisco Chronicle This program was recorded in front of a live audience at The Commonwealth Club in San Francisco on March 13th, 2019.
On March 16, 2018, just 26 hours before his scheduled retirement, FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe was fired by then Attorney General Jeff Sessions. President Donald Trump celebrated on Twitter, saying: "Andrew McCabe FIRED, a great day for the hard working men and women of the FBI - A great day for Democracy." Now McCabe is telling his side of one of the most intriguing political episodes of 2018. In The Threat: How the FBI Protects America in the Age of Terror and Trump, Andrew G. McCabe offers a dramatic and candid account of his career and an impassioned defense of the FBI's agents and of the institution's integrity and independence in protecting America and upholding our Constitution. Under FBI Directors Robert Mueller and James Comey, McCabe led the investigations of major attacks such as the Boston Marathon bombing, a plot to bomb the New York subways, the Benghazi attack and Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server when she was secretary of state. According to McCabe, the greatest threat to the United States right now comes from within, as he claims that President Trump and his administration ignore the law, attack democratic institutions, degrade human rights and undermine the U.S. Constitution that protects every citizen. Resettling large numbers of refugees is no easy task. Governments that are trying to boost their help to refugees will often call upon colleagues from countries with more experience—whether through email exchanges or conversations at the side of meetings, or formal conferences and study visits. This system of peer support is emerging as a vital tool for successful resettlement programs. Yet, peer-support projects are often put in place without a thorough assessment of how they will strategically meet the desired goals. In addition, inexperienced governments sometimes have no proper criteria to choose who takes part in the initiatives, and they fail to design appropriate follow-up activities that would maximize impact. While more experienced resettlement states are willing to share their expertise, they are faced with the challenge of reaching their own targets amid tightening budgets. This webinar examines the major challenges facing refugee resettlement peer-support projects in Europe. It explores how state and nonstate actors have sought to overcome these obstacles to ensure that peer support delivers the right tools and expertise, to the right actors, at the right time. This MPI Europe webinar focuses on the findings from its report, Scaling up Refugee Resettlement in Europe: The Role of Institutional Peer Support, produced in the framework of the European Union Action on Facilitating Resettlement and Refugee Admission through New Knowledge (EU-FRANK) project. The report examines key lessons for Member States before they design or participate in peer-support activities. Webinar speakers: Hanne Beirens, Associate Director, MPI Europe Andre Baas, Resettlement Expert, European Asylum Support Office Vinciane Masurelle, Head, International Unit, Federal Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers, Belgium Kate O’Malley, Senior Consultant, Resettlement Partnerships, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR); and Former Deputy Director for Resettlement, Division of International Protection, UNHCR

With Mark Lawson. This week sees the return of The Hour, the drama set in a TV newsroom in the 1950s. The series picks up where the last one left off with ambitious producer Bel, played by Romola Garai, attempting to keep Dominic West's newsreader Hector in check, with a little help from Peter Capaldi as the new head of news. A new Tate Modern exhibition takes David Hockney's A Bigger Splash and Jackson Pollock's action painting Summertime as its starting point, and surveys modern art movements which claimed that the making of art is as important as the art itself, whether it's Yves Klein painting nude models blue and imprinting their figures on rolls of paper or Niki De Saint Phalle shooting her paintings with air rifles. Lionel Shriver delivers her verdict. Dramatist Nick Dear's new play is the story of poet Edward Thomas, scraping a living in the Hampshire countryside in the winter of 1913. He meets the American poet Robert Frost and as their friendship blossoms, so does Thomas's work. Nick Dear and director Richard Eyre discuss the play, The Dark Earth and the Light Sky, and its approach to biography.
