Operation Warp Speed hieß das ambitionierte Projekt. Mit Lichtgeschwindigkeit wollte man die ausgerufene Pandemie mittels Impfstoffen unterminieren. Und sie, Miriam Sachs, war eines der ersten Labore. Selbst entschieden, persönlich wahrgenommen und sie hat weiter recherchiert. Miriam Sachs ist Autorin und Regisseurin, aber kein sogenannter Gutmensch. Nein, sie ist eher neugierig und war extrem betroffen von den Corona-Maßnahmen. Ihr Theaterprojekt „Improvisionen“, eine analog-digitale Kooperation zwischen Gaza und Deutschland, wurde ihr verunmöglicht. Ohne Perspektive nahm sie an der dargebotenen Impfstoffstudie von BionTech gegen SarS-Cov2 teil und musste Absurdes erleben. Warum – also warum hat sie mitgemacht, was war absurd? Alois und Oliver sehen die Sache differenziert: Exorbitante Summen werden oft nur als „Ablöse“ gezahlt, und trotzdem schaffen es hiesige Start-ups wie Black Forest Labs oder Cognigic ohne US-Gehälter an die Spitze. Viel wichtiger für einen Deep-Tech-Standort: eine kritische Masse an inspirierenden Leuten, Forschungseinrichtungen (Fraunhofer, DESY, Uni & Co.), Spezial-Infrastruktur wie Teilchenbeschleuniger und – nicht zu vergessen – Lebensqualität.Wo steht Hamburg? Eine Möglichkeit, Commons zu erweitern und zu schützen, könnten Commons-Public-Partnerships (CPP) sein, also Vereinbarungen zwischen Commons-Gemeinschaften und Stadtverwaltung. Die Transformationsrechtlerin Katja Schubel forscht zu einem solchen Recht für Commons.
