Since 2006, Charlene teaches weekly yoga classes for communities of color and facilitates YTT 200- and 300-hour core requirements workshops for YTT schools around the United States. She was the yoga interventionist for the National Institutes of Health's National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Disease clinical study Yoga as Self-Care for Arthritis in Minority Communities (NCT01617421). The study assessed the feasibility and acceptability of providing yoga to an urban, minority population with arthritis. Charlene has presented workshops and lectures at local, regional, national, and most recently international venues such as the keynote: Health equity and access to care: yoga's important role in healing for the Global Yoga Therapy Day Conference (2021). Charlene holds a Master of Science Degree in Herbal Medicine from Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH) and is a licensed dietitian and certified yoga therapist. Other directing venues include Oregon Shakespeare Festival, McCarter Theatre, and Yale Repertory. He has served on faculty at Yale School of Drama, Columbia School of the Arts, Manhattan School of Music, and the New School. Budi möchte seinen Kindern mit englischen Filmen die Sprache etwas in den Alltag bringen und darüber kommen sie ins diskutieren, welche Filme oder Serien sich dafür wohl eignen. Etienne hat mit seinen Kids ein Jumphouse besucht und sinniert was wohl seine Special-Skills sind oder welche cool wären. Haben die anderen beiden auch spezielle Fähigkeiten, oder welche könnten es sein? Nils hat ein ein paar G'schichten von der gamescom LAN beizusteuern und ein bisschen politisch wird es auch. Alles in allem wieder ein gut gemischte Tüte Unterhaltung in bester ALMOST DAILY Manier. Viel Spaß und wir freuen uns über jeden wohlwollenden Like & Comment!

ALMOST DAILY Folge 538 ist da. Und sie wird passenderweise am 538. Geburtstag von Nils Bomhoff aufgenommen. Wir gratulieren, Daniel Budiman alias Budi und Etienne Gardé aka Eddy gratulieren und fragen direkt mal, was so alles weh tut im fortgeschrittenen Alter, woraufhin Nils einen gefährlichen Stunt von seinem Knie abverlangt. Oha! Und "Oha!" ist ein gutes Stichwort, denn Eddy möchte im Anschluss über einen Film sprechen, der es ganz schön in sich hat - thematisiert wird ein Flugzeugabsturz, an dessen Ende die Überlebenden moralisch sehr schwierigen Situationen ausgesetzt sind. Budi wiederum hat eine Doku über KI gesehen, die im GO-Spielen alles wegrasiert. Daraufhin auch mal wieder um DAS ALMOST DAILY-Thema schlecht hin - KI. Und aber auch um Nasenpflaster, das COFFE TABLE BOOK und noch so vieles mehr. Viel Spaß!

Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Amarantha has been involved in the arts since the age of five, specializing in Afro-Caribbean dance. She honed her skills with L'Acadco Dance Company, the University of the West Indies Dance Society, and the National Dance Theatre Company of Jamaica while studying Media and Communication at the University of the West Indies.After completing her degree, Amarantha became a familiar face on Jamaican television as the host and producer of the entertainment news show, Review on RETV. She then transitioned into freelance producing and production management for music videos and television shows, working with icons such as Shaggy and Sean Paul.​Amarantha pursued further education in the UK, earning a Master's degree in Film and TV Production from London Metropolitan University. In 2011, she made the bold move to immigrate to Australia on her own, facing the challenges of being an immigrant woman of colour in a new country.​Her first one-woman show, "Oshun," was developed with the help of a City of Melbourne Annual arts grant, and it premiered to sold-out audiences at La Mama theatre in December 2022.
