Tonight, my special guest is Susanne Maher who's here to discuss the dangers to humanity from the chemicals sprayed from aircraft that resembles cloud cover. Visit her website   Bye Bye Blue Sky is a dedicated global public environmental movement who seeks to be a voice for all living creatures and ecosystems, to protect human health and safeguard the natural environment, air, water and land, which our sustenance depends. We use education, peaceful protest and creative communication to expose one of the world's largest and most significant ecological threats and pre imminent disasters, commonly known as Climate Engineering or “Chemtrails”. These programs are done under “National Research” wherein plausible deniability can always ensue. This is the toxic spraying of nano particulate metals which are further amplified by ionospheric heaters to steer, direct and control our weather for military purposes and global domination. Programs which have no publicly disclosed oversight and which have been conducted for decades. Chemtrails are the means, electromagnetic frequencies are the method; a spray and zap effect shredding our atmosphere and unraveling our ecosystems. Bye Bye Blue Sky is an independent movement that any one person or group can join. We are a global collective of dedicated and like-minded individuals, whose core values are reflected in our environmental campaign work. From the smallest community to the largest multinational organization, we seek to educate and inspire others to create awareness of these spraying programs so they can be exposed and eradicated. We seek to apply the wealth of our knowledge, passion and talents to end the illegal spraying of our planet, and create a world wealthier in spirit, life, nature and harmony for all. Suzanne Maher – Founder of Bye Bye Blue Sky     The chemtrail conspiracy theory is the erroneous[1] belief that long-lasting condensation trails are "chemtrails" consisting of chemical or biological agents left in the sky by high-flying aircraft, sprayed for nefarious purposes undisclosed to the general public.[2] Believers in this conspiracy theory say that while normal contrails dissipaterelatively quickly, contrails that linger must contain additional substances.[3][4] Those who subscribe to the theory speculate that the purpose of the chemical release may be solar radiation management,[3] weather modification, psychological manipulation, human population control, biological or chemical warfare, or testing of biological or chemical agents on a population, and that the trails are causing respiratory illnesses and other health problems.[2][5] The claim has been dismissed by the scientific community.[6] There is no evidence that purported chemtrails differ from normal water-based contrails routinely left by high-flying aircraft under certain atmospheric conditions.[7]Although proponents have tried to prove that chemical spraying occurs, their analyses have been flawed or based on misconceptions.[8][9] Because of the persistence of the conspiracy theory and questions about government involvement, scientists and government agenciesaround the world have repeatedly explained that the supposed chemtrails are in fact normal contrails.

In the fight against climate change, a controversial new idea is gaining traction: solar geoengineering. Solar geoengineering, or solar radiation modification, is an emerging technology that aims to reflect sunlight back into space to cool planet Earth. In a world that is struggling to bring about the behavioral and political changes needed to reduce climate change, an innovative tech approach might seem like an alluring silver bullet. But the reality is not so simple. In this episode, Sophia sits down with Cynthia Scharf, a senior fellow at the International Center for Future Generations and former senior strategy director for the Carnegie Climate Governance Initiative. They discuss solar geoengineering's risks and promises, as well as its implications for geopolitics and conflict.

Today's episode is one of my favourites and it covers such an important and vital topic: Climate Engineering. I'm grateful to be joined by Dane Wigington, an expert in this field. We discuss what climate egineering (also known as geoengineering) is, its dangers, and how it can be used in different ways that can have devastating effects on the planet, people, and the animals and plants that we share it with. To some, this may be a shocking revelation and to others, you will be familiar with the issue. Just remember that together we have the power to speak up about what's happening and help fight to put an end to this harmful practice. I hope you enjoy the episode and stay curious, stay free.Episode Guest:Dane Wigington is the executive producer for the ground breaking climate engineering documentary, "The Dimming". He has a background in solar energy and was a former employee of Bechtel Power Corporation. Dane was also a licensed contractor in California and Arizona. His personal residence was featured in a cover article on the world's largest renewable energy magazine, Home Power. He owns and manages a wildlife preserve next to Lake Shasta in Northern California.Dane made the decision to focus all of his efforts, energy and resources on full time investigation of the geoengineering / solar radiation management issue when he began to lose very significant amounts of solar uptake due to ever-increasing solar obscuration / global dimming. This scenario was being caused from highly visible and ongoing jet aircraft spraying / aerosol dispersions. Dane also noted a significant and accelerating decline in overall forest health along with rapidly increasing UV radiation levels. These factors and others were catalysts that triggered Dane's testing and research into the geoengineering issue for the last two decades. As the lead researcher for GeoengineeringWatch.org Dane has investigated all levels of geoengineering, solar radiation management and global ionosphere heater facilities like HAARP. Dane has appeared on an extensive number of interviews and films to explain the environmental dangers we face on a global level from the ongoing climate engineering assault.CONNECT WITH DANE:WEBSITE YOUTUBE CONTACT FACEBOOK Key Moments: 00:00:00 - Coming up…00:03:32 - Meet my guest00:06:15 - Getting the terminology right00:09:36 - How is this different from Climate Change 00:12:28 - “Who would do such a thing?”00:16:51 - The coverup…00:21:01 - He that controls the weather, controls the world00:26:56 - Some hard truths00:37:28 - The health impacts for humans and animals 00:42:06 - NATO's involvement 00:44:57 - Your call to action --Asea Products The Roots Brand Lifewave Patches

Is Geoengineering the Answer to Climate Crisis? with David Keith

We often talk about climate change on this podcast. The IPCC deadline is hanging over our heads like the sword of Damocles. This week Steve talks to David Keith, a professor of both Applied Physics and Applied Policy at Harvard, and author of A Case for Climate Engineering. Climate engineering, a term for solar geoengineering or solar radiation modification, would enable us to alter the Earth's reflectivity and reduce some of the climate risks that come from accumulated carbon dioxide. Keith is quick to point out that this is not a silver bullet but should be considered as part of a multi-pronged strategy. Managing climate risk involves four basic actions: Cut emissions by decarbonizing the energy system Remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere Solar radiation modification, or solar geoengineering Adaption to reduce the harms of climate change on crops, people, and ecosystems While there's no way to address climate change without replacing our energy system, it's not the entire solution. If we stop all CO2 emissions today, the climate problem won't improve, it will merely stop getting worse. We won't have reduced the amount of carbon in the atmosphere. Thus the case for climate engineering. The discussion includes the different roles for scientists and activists. They look at limitations, or flaws, in the IPCC report, and consider the importance of separating science from strategy. David Keith has worked near the interface between climate science, energy, technology, and public policy for 25 years. He took first prize in Canada's National Physics Prize exam, won MIT's Prize for Excellence in Experimental Physics, and is one of Time Magazine's heroes of the environment. He's a professor of Applied Physics at the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and professor of Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School and founder of Carbon Engineering, a company developing technology to capture CO2 from the ambient air to make carbon neutral hydrocarbon fuels. He is author of “A Case for Climate Engineering.” @DKeithClimate on Twitter

BACK AGAIN with Part Two on Geoengineering, featuring Texas legend and researcher extraordinaire BLUE CANARIES on today's blockbuster episode of The Teddy Brosevelt Show.Climate engineering is “the deliberate and large-scale intervention in the Earth's climate system” and it's happening all over the world right now. Climate engineering experiments have unknown and unintended consequences and can negatively impact: Weather patternsAgricultureEcosystemsAir qualityHuman healthFood and Water securityEPISODE #15 TOPICS INCLUDE:MIT Technology Review reports in their July 1, 2022 issue that the Biden Administration is working on solar geoengineering right now: “The White House is developing a research plan that would guide and set standards for how scientists study one of the more controversial ways of  counteracting climate change: solar geoengineering.”Governments and private corporations all around the globe have been conducting climate engineering experiments since the 1940'sFrance first started cloud seeding to prevent hail storms from destroying crops in the 1950s.China (February 2009): After four months of prolonged drought, China blasted iodide sticks over Beijing and other areas of northern China to artificially induce snowfall. The resulting snowstorm lasted for approximately THREE DAYS (!) and led to the closure of 12 major roads and highways around Beijing.Oregon (1974-1975): Portland General Electric used cloud seeding to create extra snow that would melt into Hood River and create additional hydro electric power. The experiment backfired spectacularly when local residents experienced overpowering rainfall, triggering mud slides and collapsed streets and bridges. Hundreds of buildings were damaged. Portland General Electric halted its seeding practices the next year.Insurance companies pay $3 million a year to the government of Alberta, Canada to run a Hail Suppression Project through cloud seeding, so they can reduce hail damage and limit insurance claims in southern Alberta.Eleven western states and one Canadian province (Alberta) have ongoing weather modification operational programs. Major sky resorts in Colorado and Utah use cloud seeding to create snow. The term Contrail (which is the thin white line of clouds trailing a plane or jet) blends the words condensation and trail.Chemtrail blends chemical and trail.Wikipedia claims that chemtrails are a total conspiracy, even though there dozens of pages on Wikipedia listing high-risk weather, agricultural and military aircraft doing everything from crop dusting and cloud seeding to spraying Agent Orange on enemy troops during war. China has the world's largest cloud seeding system. In Beijing, they fire silver iodide rockets into the sky when they want rain. Neighboring nations like India accuse China of "stealing rain" using cloud seeding. Before the 2008 Olympics, China used cloud seeding over Beijing for two weeks so rain wouldn't interrupt the events from opening to closing ceremonies. In August 1996, seven members of the U.S. Air Force compiled and issued a stunning research paper: ‘Weather as a Force Multiplier: Owning the Weather in 2025'Executive Summary:“In the United States, weather-modification will likely become a part of national security policy with both domestic and international applications.”“Assuming that in 2025 our national security strategy includes weather-modification, its use in our national military strategy will naturally follow.” “In this paper we show that appropriate application of weather-modification can provide battlespace dominance to a degree never before imagined.”"The technology is there, waiting for us to pull it all together. In 2025, we can "Own the Weather."During World War II, President Dwight D. Eisenhower said: “In Europe bad weather is the worst enemy of the air [operations]. Some soldier once said, ‘The weather is always neutral.' Nothing could be more untrue. Bad weather is obviously the enemy of the side that seeks to launch projects requiring good weather, or of the side possessing great assets, such as strong air forces, which depend upon good weather for effective operations. If really bad weather should endure permanently, the Nazi would need nothing else to defend the Normandy coast!” Solar geoengineering methods include: Stratospheric aerosol injection, Marine cloud brightening and Cirrus cloud thinning.Bulgaria uses strategically located silver iodide rockets to detect and shoot at hail cloud formations in agricultural areas. Cloud seeding greatly reduces the formation of hailstones, allowing them to melt before they destroy the crops below. The most common chemicals used for cloud seeding include silver iodide, potassium iodide and dry ice (solid carbon dioxide, producing the green house gas). The required altitude to enter the stratosphere for cloud seeding is the height of the tropopause - which varies from 6.8 miles at the poles to 11 miles at the equator.Metallic aerosol particles shot into the atmosphere for weather mainpulation can hover and spread around the world for several YEARS.MUCH MUCH MORE!Episode #15 of The Teddy Brosevelt Show was recorded on July 22, 2022 over the phone with Teddy in Austin and Blue Canaries in an underground bunker somewhere in the Western hemisphere. Now available on:SpotifyTuneIn RadioApple PodcastsComing soon to iHeartRadioThanks for reading Teddy Brosevelt Substack! Technological understanding for cloud seeding to create artificial snow or rain is officially documented in the 1940s. Government programs named Stormfury and Popeye operated in the 1960s, the latter being used during the Vietnam war. In the previous decade from 2010-2020, conversations on weather modification, alteration and control have become public. Proposals have suggested blocking out the sun and spraying chemicals from jet planes in the atmosphere, all in the name of fighting global warming or climate change. Interestingly though, aerosol dispersal may have the opposite effect and trap heat, therefore creating true manmade warming. Whatever the view, it is not much debated that once such programs would be undertaken they would likely never stop in order to maintain the artificiality of a synthetic climate.

What is Climate Engineering? Also known as "geoengineering," it is the intentional large-scale intervention in the Earth’s climate system to counter climate change. Limiting the risks of climate change requires swift and deep reductions in emissions of heat-trapping gases and investments to prepare for now unavoidable impacts. Given the daunting challenge of keeping the rise in global temperatures in check, some researchers are also working to understand the risks and potentials of “geoengineering” or climate engineering technologies. A young Bosnian-American with a passion for science, Benjamin Cehic is one of those young minds that is warning us of the risks associated with this practice. The funds to help developing countries tackle climate change are insufficient but he says even the developed nations are cash strapped and unable to help while their top 0 .1% of wealthy corporations  evade tax.  Malaysians are already experiencing intensified floods and heatwaves. They produce only 70% of their food so Dr Devaraj has many solutions to protect the population:  from flood mitigation to guaranteeing that land is used to produce food first.  He is hopeful that new bold laws will enable restoration of forests,  rivers and farmlands.  Malaysians have witnessed that the unexpected can happen in government and the  lesson we can draw is to prepare for the unexpected. Have the projects and blueprints ready. This fits in with the reasoning  behind Beyond Zero Emissions and broadens our awareness to our near neighbour. You can read a talk given by Dr Jeyakumar Devaraj in Kuala Lumpur here.Dr Hugh HuntDr Hugh Hunt was involved in a Cambridge University project called SPICE. (Stratospheric Particle Injection for Climate Engineering)  He is a reader in Engineering Dynamics and Vibration and feels that even environmentalists are disconnected from the carbon footprint of our economy . He talked to Vivien Langford at the Climate Adaptation Conference.  If we are unwilling to change our own behaviour such as flying, which for every hour in the air emits 100 kilos of CO2, shouldn’t we start talking about cooling the Arctic to buy time?  It is a hard conversation to have.  He does not want to see climate engineering but thinks we should build up our knowledge of what could go wrong.Dr Hugh Hunt’s research into the effects of climate engineering is ON HOLD because of ethical concerns.Yet where are the ethical concerns which would make us STOP before before flying or filling up a car with petrol?Imagine you had to dispose of 25 white suitcases filled with CO2 after a long hall flight. These videos explain it for adults and children.Imagine you are a world leader. You think it would be electoral suicide to ration fossil fuels and phase them out, so you dream about climate engineering to buy time. What could go wrong ?Are these videos a nudge in the right direction?Radio Team : Andy Britt – Producer, Roger Vize- Podcasts, Vivien Langford – Interviews

When the Paris Agreement set an ambitious goal of limiting the global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels, the negotiators put climate engineering on the table, says Simon Nicholson, professor at American University in this week’s episode of Backdraft. Once the purview of science fiction, a majority of the models run by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) required large-scale use of climate engineering technologies to keep additional warming below 2 degrees. “Nobody who was arguing for that 1.5 degree target at Paris was thinking in their heads we should start shooting sulfate particles into the atmosphere,” says Nicholson. They were looking at the science and recognizing that without aggressive action a lot of people will suffer. But, says Nicholson, it’s not clear that the target is attainable through traditional mitigation alone. “The entire conversation is in some ways an unintended consequence of not doing enough. Very few people want to talk about doing climate engineering. The reason you get a growing number of scientists and policymakers [discussing climate engineering], is because the situation is getting pretty desperate.” There are two types of climate engineering technologies – solar radiation management and carbon dioxide removal. While carbon dioxide removal tends to be slow-acting and expensive, solar radiation management is fast-acting and seemingly cheap. “One thing to really pay attention to is that each of the technologies has its own risk profile,” says Nicholson, the co-founder of the Forum for Climate Engineering Assessment. “We have to parse them out and discuss them one by one.” Both technologies have significant environmental, political and social, and existential implications. For example, bio-energy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS), a carbon dioxide removal technology used in the IPCC modeling, would require an immense industrial infrastructure to capture carbon and move it to storage. There would be massive changes in land use, which could generate political and social conflicts. Determining who gets a voice in the decision-making process will be extremely complicated and could increase the vulnerability of already vulnerable communities, says Nicholson. While faster-acting and less expensive than carbon removal technologies like BECCS, solar radiation management technologies, like stratospheric aerosol injection, could have devastating environmental consequences. “Even if we get it right, there is potential for downsides,” says Nicholson. “The biggest problem is the social and political transformation that’s needed so that long-term human beings and the way that we live are compatible with ecological realities,” says Nicholson. “Solar radiation is not a fix… And yet, one could imagine politicians and other actors try to sell it as a fix.” Currently, there is no formal governance system overseeing climate engineering, and Nicholson suggests that this may be an even bigger hurdle than even the environmental impacts. A successful climate intervention would require at least a couple hundred years to achieve a significant decrease in temperature, and stopping an intervention prematurely could lead to a spike in warming. “How do you build a system of governance that lasts across multiple centuries?” he asks. “It might not be the technological challenges that sink something like stratospheric aerosol injection; it may be that the political conversation is just too tough. We just can’t find a way to put together a governance arrangement that’s robust enough that the world community buys it.” “Although negotiators didn’t intend for this to be the case, now we’re kind of locked into a conversation where climate engineering is on the table,” says Nicholson. “If these [technologies] do start to come onto the table, then they can’t be used as cover for inaction. And that is perhaps the biggest political challenge in this space.”

It’s getting warmer, there ain’t no doubt about it. What are we going to do? Most folks say we should cut back on bad things like carbon emissions. That would probably be a good idea. The trouble is we would have to cut back on all the good things that carbon emissions produce, like big houses, cool cars, and tasty food imported from far-away places. We don’t want to do that. So what’s a global citizen to do? One idea is to take control of the environment, engineering-wise. Why cut back when we can simply manage the carbon-cycle a bit like we manage the climate in hothouses? In Earthmasters: The Dawn of the Age of Climate Engineering(Yale UP, 2013), Clive Hamilton surveys the proposals big-thinking engineers have dreamed up to control the carbon-cycle on a truly massive scale. Some are wacky, others less so, but all are, well, very bold. Does any of it make sense? Can any of it be done? Hamilton investigates. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Jamie Williams (start time  5:40). Today on How On Earth we speak with Jamie Williams about land conservation. It’s safe to say that Williams should take credit for large swaths of land in the West that have been preserved as wilderness. He has served as The Nature Conservancy’s director of landscape conservation for North America as part of a 20-year career at the organization. During that time he helped forge unlikely partnerships between ranchers, other landowners and environmentalists. And he led major efforts to garner funding in Congress for conservation, including the largest conservation purchase of private land ever – of 500 square miles of forest in northwest Montana. Williams helped develop the large landscape focus within the Obama administration’s America’s Great Outdoors Initiative, which aims to connect especially young kids to the outdoors. Today, Williams takes the helm of another major conservation organization, the Wilderness Society. Climate engineering (start time 18:12). Geoengineering means large scale, intentional manipulation of the climate to counter the effects of global climate change. Advocates have proposed ideas like placing giant shields in space to block the sun's rays from striking the earth, and seeding the ocean with iron particles to speed up the removal of carbon from the atmosphere. Critics cite a host of social, moral, and technological problems. Climate engineering may be a solution of last resort, but the time for last resorts may be rapidly approaching as we spew more and more carbon into the air. We  speak with Dr. Doug Ray about the readiness of climate engineering. Ray is an expert on energy and atmospheric carbon removal science and technology and is an Associate Lab Director at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
