Don't try to handle everything on your own. If you usually take on all the work, try asking others to help out. Hosting a potluck instead of making all the food yourself can ease your workload and lower your costs. It also gives you more time to relax and enjoy with your guests. Remember to rest and get some exercise. It doesn't have to cost anything—just take a walk around your neighborhood or find a local trail. Enjoy some fresh air and give your mind a break from all the holiday planning and activities. Choose just a few simple events to attend. You don't have to accept every invitation, whether in-person or online. It's okay to say no and save yourself some stress. If you usually host big gatherings, consider a smaller get-together, like a movie night or cookie decorating. Don't forget to play some music. Holiday songs are a great way to lift your spirits. Put on your favorites while you cook, wrap gifts, or spend time with family. It's free and can really boost your mood. Stay organized and clear out clutter. This time of year, it's easy for things to pile up. Getting rid of items you don't use can help you relax and make space for new things.
