I used to think hustle was the secret to success. In real estate, wearing exhaustion like a badge of honor felt normal—four hours of sleep, 24/7 client calls, endless to-do lists. Hustle made me look successful, but behind the scenes, I was burnt out, reactive, and the bottleneck of my own business. In this episode of The Raquel Show, I'm breaking down Trap #2 of the Agent CEO System: Hustle Addiction—the belief that the only way to grow is to work harder, longer, and do everything yourself. Spoiler alert: it's costing you time, money, and freedom.By the end of this episode, you'll know exactly how to break free from hustle mode and step into true CEO leadership—working smarter, not harder.✨ Here's what I cover in this episode:How to spot if you're stuck in hustle addictionThe hidden ways hustle is capping your income (and burning you out)Shift #1: How to identify your true CEO work vs. maintenance modeShift #2: The boundaries that actually make clients respect your timeShift #3: Building your 3-point leverage plan (people, systems, tech)A client case study: how she cut 40 hours a week while growing income by 40%Imagine ending your day with only three priorities instead of 37—and knowing your systems, VA, and tech are working for you while you're at your kid's game. #258: How To Align Faith, Values, and Writing into One Powerful Message with Larry O'Nan
Here's the truth: “Getting paid to be you” has been sold to us like it's the holy grail of freedom. But here's the part no one tells you—it can just as easily become another performance trap. Another hustle. Another way of proving instead of actually living. In this episode, I'm walking you through the alchemy of dethroning this shiny mantra and what it really takes to feel free in your work and your life. Spoiler: it's not more courses, more clients, more followers, or another spiritual playbook for success. We're getting into:Why chasing more never gets you where you think it will. How my business went from defining me… to simply being what I do.The subtle but powerful difference between branding yourself and becoming yourself. The dance between survival mode, choice points, and actual maturity. And yes—a story about Benji, pasta, parmesan, and salt (because you know I can't leave out the messy, human parts). If you've been trying to “make it work” by being more visible, more polished, more everything… this one's for you. Because the alchemical approach to getting paid to be you isn't about performing harder. It's about slowing down, purifying what's in the way, and finally becoming the version of you who can walk through the right doors.Listen with your body, not just your mind. Something new wants to move through you.Send us a message and let us know what you love about this episodeImportant Links: www.Megthompson.com Attuned - CLICK HERE Let's Connect on Instagram - CLICK HERE

In this episode of Tales from The Lane, Kate takes a candid look at a growing trend: using self-care and boundaries as default reasons to opt out of opportunities, connection, and growth. While the movement to prevent burnout was born out of necessity—helping leaders, parents, and professionals stretched impossibly thin—somewhere along the way, it became a lifestyle brand. And now, more and more early-career professionals are declining every extra task, gig, or invitation in the name of “protecting their peace,” only to find themselves feeling disconnected and unfulfilled. Kate explores: Why self-care and boundaries matter (and where the movement started) How the pendulum has swung too far in the opposite direction How saying yes (even when it feels inconvenient) can build skills, networks, and community What the most fulfilled, high-achieving people do differently If you've been wondering how to balance protecting your time with showing up fully for your life and your community, this conversation will help you reframe what it means to be both intentional and engaged. In this episode, 216. Being Who You Want to Be, I'm diving into one of the most powerful tools I've used with missionaries, mission leaders, parents, and RMs over the past six years—learning to take aligned action. What does that mean? It means checking in with your thoughts and feelings before making decisions or having hard conversations, and making sure they reflect the kind of person you actually want to be. We explore how to lead with love instead of pressure, act with compassion instead of fear, and find confidence in your choices—even when others don't understand them. Whether you're a missionary navigating companion issues, a parent trying to support your kid, or a returned missionary figuring out your next steps, this episode will help you build emotional self-trust and clarity. I'll also share some real-life examples, including how I apply this with my own kids and in my business, and we'll reflect on a beautiful lyric from The Secret Garden that reminds us: the person you're meant to be is already inside you. This is your reminder that you can be intentional. You can be YOU. And when your thoughts and emotions align with your values, you'll show up with peace, purpose, and power. As always, if you found this episode helpful, I want to invite you to subscribe if you aren't already, share this episode with your friends and missionaries you know, and write a review. I know this work will help LDS missionaries around the world and it would mean so much to me if you did. Until next week my friends. "I think one of the biggest things to convey to anybody who wants to start a business is know what you're good at, know what you like, and know what you're not good at, and then outsource that. Because that's going to help get the business to where you wanna go." —Arielle Moody Ever wonder if you're settling for “good enough” when you could be living—and choosing—so much better? If you've ever felt overwhelmed by the choices you make for your body, your business, or your family, this episode is your permission slip to trust your gut, question the status quo, and demand more from what you put on your skin and into your life. Arielle Moody, a seasoned beauty industry expert and co-founder of Mama Sol, turned her personal quest for safe, effective products into a thriving business that puts wellness and integrity first. Her journey from industry insider to innovative entrepreneur brings a fresh, no-nonsense perspective on why what's inside—both products and people—matters most. Hit play for a candid look at how intentional living, ingredient transparency, self-belief, and values-driven choices shape everything from entrepreneurship and family business to work-life balance, clinical testing, and creating wellness products that truly multitask. Meet Arielle: While pregnant with her first child, shocked by how many toxic ingredients were lurking in everyday products, and after trying dozens of natural mineral sunscreens, Arielle was determined to create one that 1) didn't make her immediately want to wash her face, and 2) didn't leave a white cast on her skin. Oh, and it needed to be something she looked forward to using daily. No biggie. As Mama Sol's product development whisperer, Arielle has been immersed in the beauty industry her entire adult life. Starting as a beauty sales trainer for Smashbox, Dr. Perricone, and Bite Beauty, then rising to become the head of product development for Skinn Cosmetics and, most recently, the head of sales for a leading cosmetics packaging and formulation company, she's always known one thing—that she would one day create her own product, something truly different that had never been seen before. Did you know that women's clitoral orgasms have the power to completely transform the world and turn it into a blissful nirvana free from pain and suffering? They don't, but, that's essentially what OneTaste founder Nicole Daedone preached at one point before she went to jail. For years, she put on clinics based around male attendees stroking female attendees clitorises in a very specific way designed to completely transform them...and the world around them. Does that make sense? It shouldn't. This is another weird one.
