During a back and forth with reporters for his meeting with the president of El Salvador, Donald Trump proved what a low class piece of trash he really is. He did this not only by slandering the man that he wrongfully deported, but also when he viciously attacked CNN reporter Kaitlin Collins. The man has no class at all, yet he likes to pretend that he does by surrounding himself with gold, which was also on display during the meeting. Republican Senator, and Trump ally, John Kennedy from Louisiana admitted during an interview on CNN this week that he has no idea why Donald Trump is hellbent on enacting his tariff policy because Trump has no idea why he's hellbent on it. This is the first time that a sitting Republican has admitted that Trump is operating without a rudder, and it could be an indication that more Republicans are losing faith in him.European officials travelling to the United States have been instructed to use burner phones for communicating during their trips in order to avoid Donald Trump spying on them. This is the same procedure they use for traveling to countries like Russia and China because they don't trust the government, and now the US has been put on the same level thanks to Trump. Our allies no longer have any faith or trust in us.The Constitutional crisis that many of us had feared is officially here. The Trump administration has made it clear that they are going to continue to defy an order from the US Supreme Court, which means that the system of checks and balances put in place by the Constitution have been thrown away. There's not much that can actually be done about this, but that doesn't mean there's nothing that can be done. The unfortunate thing is that the one remedy is one that is almost impossible to use.Text and and let us know your thoughts on today's stories!Subscribe to our YouTube channel to stay up to date on all of Farron's content: https://www.youtube.com/FarronBalancedFollow Farron on social media! Kaitlin Collins left the White House with some lumps to the noggin yesterday. As President Trump and El Salvador President Nayib Bukele held a press conference, Collins asked about deported gang member Abrego Garcia. Well, Pam Bondi, Marco Rubio and President Bukele all teed-off on Collins and her reporting. The "Maryland man" is actually a citizen of El Salvador and was ordered to be deported in 2019. On today's show we are going to take a look at our national borders and what a difference a president can make. Ron Vitiello is the senior advisor to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection with the Department of Homeland Security. Mark Hall is the Deputy U.S. Border Czar, working directly with Tom Homan. With decades of experience in border protection and law enforcement, both men point to our robust laws concerning immigration. Our immigration laws and procedures are fair and work when they are enforced. Now that President Trump is enforcing our laws, what was 7,000 crossing per day under Biden has plummeted to below 300 under President Trump. Ron and Mark fill us in on cartel activity, stopping deadly fentanyl precursors from China and how Mexico and Canada have stepped up to do their part. With exceptional leadership from the likes of Pam Bondi, Tom Homan and Kristi Noem, we might already have the most secure border in U.S. history. After answering repeated questions from CNN anchor Kaitlin Collins about the Signal group chat breach and security of communications among Trump cabinet members, VA Secretary Doug Collins turned the question around and asked Collins about a $5 million defamation suit her network settled with a veteran who successfully argued he had been libeled about his involvement in the Afghanistan withdrawal. Jimmy explains how Collins ignores the most important part of the Signal breach story. Plus segments on the REAL reason Trump is shipping all those alleged gang members from Venezuela to El Salvador, newly minted HHS Secretary RFK Jr. targeting big processed foods manufacturers and James Corbett talking to Jimmy about the phony left-right divide. A-Block (1:40) SPECIAL COMMENT: As I reported in our live video version of this podcast on YouTube and Twitch right after the "debate," there were three participants in the CNN event last night, not just two. President Biden was competing against the tag team of Trump and CNN. I warned here on Wednesday that CNN's abrogation of the primary responsibility of any journalistic effort anywhere and at any time in the history of the world (when the guy urinates on your leg and tells you it's raining, you're supposed to SAY something) had the potential to render the first Biden-Trump "debate" into a repeat of the network's disastrous live Town Hall with Trump last year. But in that one, and though she failed, Kaitlin Collins at least tried to push back against Trump's firehouse of lies. Last night, Jake Tapper and Dana Bash disgraced themselves and disqualified themselves from any future reportorial credibility (under the guidance of CNN political director David Chalian and new chief Mark Thompson). CNN gave Trump 45 minutes in front of an audience that may have topped 100,000,000 to lie about everything from January 6th to his own golf performance. I documented 40 of the lies. I think I missed two-thirds of them, or more. CNN pushed back against exactly none. The network had promised to at least not abide Trump's lies about the 2020 election and having set the truth bar as low as it could have gone, failed to reach even that. It's not just that Bash and Tapper should be fired (and Chalian and Thompson and anybody else in management responsible for this utter, corrupt pandering to Trump). If I had done what they did, I would have resigned and fled the country by now. And probably changed my name. In a just world, CNN would be forced off the air and out of business, today, and its offices evacuated and the empty buildings leveled. The operation where I began my TV career in 1981 and resumed my news career in 2002 is dead and its credibility is now marked with the NewsMaxes and RSNs of this world. As to Biden's halting and hoarse performance, he is bloodied but unbowed. More on that in the third segment of this podcast. B-BLOCK (17:01) MORE SPECIAL COMMENT: We'll review some of the key clips from the Trump Town Ha--- I'm sorry "CNN Presidential Debate" including the remarkable truth that while one of the candidates is seeking the office to avoid prison and will do anything to anybody to win - as he tried to do in 2020 - Tapper and Bash did not even bring up the topic of democracy until the 39th minute of the "debate," and waited even longer to question Trump about his status as the worst criminal in our nation's history. C-BLOCK (40:28) QUESTIONS FROM YOU: Observations from viewers of the debate and the live podcast and my replies - including the three or four different components to one obvious question: "Is it too late to replace Biden?" There are three answers, the most important of which is: if you do, you trade a still likely victory over evil for certain defeat. No would-be replacement comes within 10 points of Trump in polling. It's that simple.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

SEASON 2 EPISODE 113: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:44) SPECIAL COMMENT: Since Nikki Haley refused to enslave herself after he defeated her in New Hampshire Tuesday, Trump has lost what little remained of his damned mind. He is now running on a novel platform: "Trump 2024: EFF AMERICA!" He wants to crash the economy, leave the borders open so (he says) terrorists can pour in. Yesterday a resolution was floated to the RNC to effectively cancel the remaining 48 Republican primaries and declare Trump the nominee NOW. Even though the GOP rules require 1,215 delegates for nomination and he has exactly 32. Moreover, one of the underappreciated ratfinks of the fascist push in America for a quarter century, David Bossie of the Clinton Hunt and Citizens United, is the Committeeman who has actually introduced a resolution subverting what passes for democracy within the GOP, to the Republican National Committee. Last night Trump made a big deal of saying he doesn't want this, that he wants "to do it the old fashioned way" and guess what? I think he's lying. He wants it - he just doesn't want to be seen as being BEHIND it. So if it happens, does Nikki Haley then sue? She certainly hasn't shrunk away from challenging Trump. He threatened to blacklist her donors? She tweeted the news and attached a link TO donate to her campaign! She's clearly aware that unlike almost any other Republican since 2016, she has destabilized him, and threatened him back. How far will she go? Especially since Trump's desire to blow-up the border deal may have created an anti-Trump bloc among Republican Senators who might serve as a Haley base of support. B-Block (22:36) IN SPORTS: A college athlete illegally betting on his own school's games at a legal betting site? How'd EVER have expected that? And why it doesn't matter whether he bet for or against his own team. Plus Jim Harbaugh's new job lets me tell the story of the filming of the ESPN commercial Dan Patrick and I did with him (28:00) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: Surprise! The January 6th Sprinter, Josh Hawley, is suddenly Senator Socialism! Rep. Ralph Norman, unrepentant insurrectionist and Kaitlin Collins who didn't call him on it. And led by the last GOP nominee for governor of New York, and resident Fox stooges Typhoid and Greg Guttersnipe, decide it's ok to now use the "R-word" on TV, never realize they'd be the first three guys you'd use it to describe. EPISODE 249: BULLETIN COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:41) BULLETIN: The SECOND set of Trump Indictments by Special Counsel Jack Smith which will come as early as Thursday in Washington – the second in as many months -- may make the first ones look like a small stack of parking tickets. As news has broken this morning and this afternoon we are seeing the outline of a HUGE number of counts – dozens – the June 29th report by the British newspaper “The Independent” of 30 to 45 more charges being readied may actually be CONSERVATIVE – it could be FAR MORE than 45 counts. And just as breathtaking may be… the range of charges: those hazy details just coming into focus at the horizon could include everything from simple cheesy financial fraud, to the I-word: Insurrection. “A SPRAWLING case,” as it is phrased by the sources of Robert Costa of CBS News – and again quoting them -- “focused on how Trump acted after he was informed by many, that claiming the election was rigged, would be pushing fraud. AND, whether Trump criminally conspired to block certification.” Trump is clearly going to be indicted by the Special Counsel – AGAIN – conceivably as early as this week – and THIS time there is reason to believe he will be indicted not just for premeditated fraud because he conned the gullible cultists for donations to cure a stolen election he knew WASN'T stolen, but also indicted both for the palace coup that was the phony electors scheme AND the violent coup he unleashed stochastically every day between his “it'll be wild” tweet of December 19th and his speech on the Ellipse on January 6th. At 9:21 Eastern this morning Trump himself revealed he is the recipient of ANOTHER Jack Smith target letter: “stating that I am a TARGET of the January 6th Grand Jury investigation and giving me a very short four days to report to the Grand Jury, which almost always means an arrest and indictment,”unquote. Well on the last part, Trump WOULD know. And there is the one lingering little detail I spent so much of your time on, on Monday. WHY did he make that Freudian Slip on Saturday and refer to "The Insurrection Act"? Why did he kill the post half an hour later and replace it? When 24 hours later he would learn he is almost certainly to be indicted for the...insurrection? NOTE: THE REST OF THIS PODCAST IS A REPEAT, IN ITS ENTIRETY, OF THIS MORNING'S EPISODE 248. IF YOU'VE HEARD IT, TURN IT OFF, I WON'T TAKE IT PERSONALLY. (12:00) SPECIAL COMMENT : Judge Aileen Mercedes Cannon will now begin to decide whether we all live or die. This, sadly, is not hyperbole. A federal judge who has presided over a total of four trials for a total of fourteen days will today make the first of a series of decisions that will ultimately end with whether we all live or die. The forest really CAN never be seen because we're next to the trees and how fitting the analogy is because while we are down here taking samples of the bark to check markings by Jack Smith, the big picture is: this judge, Aileen Cannon will at minimum help decide whether or not Donald Trump is kept out of the White House and that will at minimum help decide whether or not we have any chance of maintaining a president who will lead this nation and thus this world through climate change. B-Block (29:25) POSTSCRIPTS TO THE NEWS: Flynn and Bannon are subpoenaed for the Smartmatic suit against Fox. So? Do they tell the truth, or lie? Harlan Crow tries to deduct the Good Ship Super-Yacht Clarence Thomas; Pink Beret Girl from 1/6 is finally found - and turned in by an EX. And the rule of thumb in cable news is: the first week of a new show is its ratings peak. Which means Kaitlin Collins soon will not be watching her own program. (34:00) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: Megyn Kelly blasts RFK Jr's sister because Meg is too dumb to know what RFK Jr's sister DOES; The mayor betrays Atlanta over Cop City; and brilliant plan, Vivek Ramaswamy: on the Supreme Court, he wants: Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and the judge who protected a Beauty Pageant's right to discriminate against transgendered people. C-Block (40:00) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: If Lionel Messi really is going to debut for the Miami MLS team Friday we have to welcome him in the only way Countdown can. Whatever your watch may say, it's always SOCCER BREAKDOWN O'CLOCK!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

It really is that stark, and I think we forget about it and then something snaps the picture into focus and in my case it IS two pictures. The first is that one grinning idiot in the black "SAN DIEGO" shirt and the black shorts and the black cap and the black sunglasses in Death Valley taking selfies with a digital thermometer reading 131 degrees - both as if that heat couldn't hill him, personally, and as if that 131 degree temperature was temporary or transient or unique to that locale or something he has to take a picture of so he can preserve it for his grandchildren and oh by the way at the present rate of acceleration of the climate catastrophe don't worry about preserving it for your grandchildren because you're not going to have any, nor is anybody else, because the last words Donald Trump ever speaks on this earth will be about how money is more important than anything or how climate change is a hoax or both and if any of the existential decisions about this planet of the next five years are made with Trump as president - we're all dead. The other image was this redneck Jason Aldean, the pride of MAGA, New Year's Eve guest at Mar-a-Lago, the yodeling darling of the Climate Denial crowd dropping a song on Friday daring black protestors to – to quote the title “Try That In A Small Town” – and then having to run off the stage and get two IV's stuck in him so he didn't lose consciousness while singing the ferocious tropical heat of Hartford, Connecticut. In July. At night. But there's no man-made climate change. Try THAT in a Small Town, Jason, after the energy grid has failed and your governor chased away all the doctors because Woke. 109 in Rome, 110 expected in Miami, 126 in Sanbao China, 152 at Persian Gulf Airport which is in Iran but closer to Dubai than anywhere else and it didn't matter because it was 152. So if the power had failed at Persian Gulf Airport, I mean, again, energy grid failure -- as if it were Texas -- there would've been a mass casualty event. Judge Cannon is to tell Trump's lawyers and Walt Nauta's lawyers and Jack Smith's team some preliminary findings about the process for handling classified information at the trial and all the indications she gave yesterday suggested she would be adding an item to the agenda: the planned trial start date and timeline and we are now on the path. She won't be the only one who decides whether we all live or die. But she gets the first set of decisions. As to us, history doesn't usually SCHEDULE stuff this important in advance. It didn't warn us about Bubonic Plague or Archduke Ferdinand or Hitler or John Brown. But it's warning us in advance about this. I guess that means we're lucky. B-Block (17:30) POSTSCRIPTS TO THE NEWS: Flynn and Bannon are subpoenaed for the Smartmatic suit against Fox. (22:51) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: Megyn Kelly blasts RFK Jr's sister because Meg is too dumb to know what RFK Jr's sister DOES; The mayor betrays Atlanta over Cop City; and brilliant plan, Vivek Ramaswamy: on the Supreme Court, he wants: Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and the judge who protected a Beauty Pageant's right to discriminate against transgendered people. C-Block (28:00) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: If Lionel Messi really is going to debut for the Miami MLS team Friday we have to welcome him in the only way Countdown can. It simply doesn't get more serious than this. The F.B.I. officials knew they were lying to us, to the media--who happily played along--they lief to the the Nation's ACTUAL highest court, the secret and un-American FISA Court. This was the first of their coup attempts. This proves much more. There is NOTHING the F.B.I. will not do for their own power. They would do this but NOT steal an election? They would do this but NOT agitate January 6?They would do this but NOT let criminals walk across the border destabilize this Country? They would do this but NOT cover-up the Biden crime family having a prostitution ring as part of their web of LLC designed for illegal money-laundering?There is much more today . . . In today's special LIVE program, Trish Regan talks with her Youtube viewers about the reasons why Wall Street was so late to admit Bud Light's mistake. With the stock having lost some $5 billion in market cap, the analyst community is forced to admit what all of us already knew. PLUS: Trump had a big night on CNN and despite the media freak-out, saw a massive ratings tune-in. What does this tell us about 2024? Speaking of ratings, Fox News continues to falter as it struggles with the lost of its main star, Tucker Carlson. Joe Biden's family is alleged to have gotten millions from...Romania? During today's episode, we'll be discussing Trump's appearance on CNN's Town Hall with Kaitlin Collins. The division between two distinct versions of America is apparent - one is our home, while the other is the abode of radical leftists, who tend to gravitate towards places like CNN. Trump resumed his campaigning in the same manner he had left it, and it appears to be his nomination to lose. CNN will never be the same again after former President Donald Trump appeared on the network for a Town Hall Wednesday night. The show lasted over an hour and ended with the live audience of Republicans and undeclared voters, at Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire, cheering for Trump. And they weren't cheering so much for CNN interviewer Kaitlin Collins. Immediately after, CNN itself was even attacked by several public figures and establishment news outlets for even giving Trump a platform. So what took place? Well, it may have made Trump look just a bit too human. And for the well-crafted and ongoing attacks to dehumanize the former president, this could be a threat to the narratives. Also, border expert and war correspondent Michael Yon joins us from El Paso, TX, to talk the end of Title 42 and what it means for the border crisis. We'll discuss this story in this episode of Crossroads. ⭕️ Stay up-to-date with Josh with the Crossroads NEWSLETTER

According to reporting from the Wall Street Journal, the balloon had flown over Alaska and Canada prior to F-22 fighter jets being sent to monitor it over Montana. WSJ writes, “[t]he U.S. maintains an arsenal of 150 nuclear-armed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missiles at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana.” Secretary of State Antony Blinken had been scheduled to visit Beijing, China over the weekend—though, that trip has now been postponed. 3:10pm- Paul Bedard, of The Washington Examiner, hypothesized that high-altitude balloons could potentially be used to deliver an electronic magnetic pulse (EMP) nuclear attack designed to disrupt America's electrical grid. 3:15pm- Pentagon Spokesman Brigadier General Patrick Ryder spoke to reporters on Friday and insisted that the Chinese reconnaissance balloon does not pose a threat to the United States or national security. Brigadier General Patrick explained that while the balloon is “maneuverable”, the Pentagon has decided to simply monitor it and will not shoot it down. 3:30pm- Speaking with Kaitlin Collins on CNN, former Secretary of Defense Mark Esper said that if attempts to capture China's surveillance balloon failed, it should be shot down. 3:35pm- At the conclusion of a White House press conference on the state of the United States economy, President Biden was asked about the Chinese surveillance balloon but walked away, refusing to provide answers. 3:40pm- Christopher Ruddy—CEO of Newsmax—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss AT&T-owned DirectTV's decision to pull Newsmax from its satellite services, upsetting many of the services 13 million subscribers. Though AT&T claims the decision was motivated by a need to cut costs, they allowed other channels with lower ratings to remain a part of their services. Ruddy believes Newsmax was unfairly targeted because of its conservative politics and that this amounts to an act of “censorship." In response to the decision, former President Donald Trump has called on AT&T and DirectTV subscribers to cancel all accounts they hold with either entity. 3:50pm- During a joint press conference with South Korea Foreign Minister Park Jin, Secretary of State Antony Blinken briefly addressed the Chinese spy-balloon flying over the continental United States. 4:05pm- Has the Biden Administration responded appropriately to China's reconnaissance balloon flying over the United States? Addressing Hunter's numerous legal complications, Strassel writes: “How's it going to look if, at the demand of the president's son, the Justice Department unleashes the full force of the federal government on the people who exposed Hunter's problematic foreign dealings, including documents that raise questions about Joe Biden's knowledge of those affairs?” Read the article at: https://www.wsj.com/articles/hunter-biden-claims-his-laptop-scandal-washington-russia-misinformation-leak-candidate-debate-truth-11675377236?mod=hp_opin_pos_1 4:45pm- On Thursday, House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) announced an investigation into White House Special Climate Envoy John Kerry and his use of tax-payer money. 4:50pm- According to The Daily Wire, Facebook and Instagram have threatened to permanently ban Project Veritas from their social media platforms over their hidden camera video featuring Pfizer official Jordon Trishton Walker talking about potential COVID-19 mutations stemming from the company's research. 5:00pm- President Joe Biden refused to take blame for inflation when asked about it by reporters, explaining that he inherited a bad economy. However, as the Washington Examiner notes, inflation was at 1.4% the month President Biden took office and reached a high of 9.1% in June of 2022. 5:20pm- Rich is joined by Mike Opelka! The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 1: While surveying storm damage in California on Thursday, President Joe Biden briefly answered questions about his mishandling of classified documents. Biden claimed the documents were simply “filed in the wrong place” and that he did not have any regrets. He insisted “there's no ‘there' there.” During Friday's press briefing, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre asserted that President Biden, despite mishandling classified documents at the conclusion of the Obama presidency, takes classified information “very, very seriously.” CNN Intelligence and National Security reporter Katie Bo Lillis and host Kaitlin Collins made excuses for President Biden's mishandling of classified documents—explaining that “classified spillage” happens “everyday” with perpetrators typically never reprimanded. According to a Fox News report, the Secret Service possesses a list of visitors to President Biden's Delaware homes. Interestingly, during a press briefing on January 12th, Karine Jean-Pierre refused to answer any question about the existence of a “visitors log” for Biden's Wilmington home where misplaced classified documents were found. But just because the Secret Service does not officially refer to it as a “visitor log” doesn't mean a comprehensive record of visitor information doesn't exist. So, why hasn't the information been made publicly available yet? Jimmy Failla—stand-up comedian & Fox News Radio host—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss this weekend's Eagles-Giants game, the intricacies of cultural appropriation, and Al Gore's unhinged rant about rain bombs and boiling oceans. You can hear The Best of Jimmy Failla every Saturday on 1210 WPHT.
