What diverse financial realities are available to you that you have not yet chosen because you are trying to function from what you have been told you should do rather than function from your reality with money? In this episode of Choice, Change and Action, Sylvia Puentes interviews Simone Milasas about money; specifically, how to be different with money. What if you could have an ease with your choices and not make it so determinant on the money that you don't have? When you make everything about money and make it so significant and meaningful, money controls you rather than you being the source of your life.  When you step outside of the points of views you use to justify a limited reality and start receiving from the entirety of the universe, what else can show up? Questions And Tools: Use the Access Consciousness money tools. Don't duplicate other people's realities; choose yours! Rather than choose based on necessity, choose what is congruent with what you are asking for and trust that it is going to generate and contribute to something more, something bigger. Be vulnerable with what it is you would like. Ask, "If it wasn't about the money, what would you choose?" and write a list. Enjoy every choice.  Write down every problem you think you have with money and for each one ask, "If this wasn't a problem, what possibility is available?" Be with that energy - the energy of possibility - and engage with it.  Write down your answers to the following questions: What points of views do you use to justify a limited reality? What action can you take to create more ease with your financial reality? What if you became a steward of money? What would that be? What would you create? What if you chose relaxation with money? Daily questions you can ask yourself: "Dear universe, show me what else is possible." "If money wasn't a problem, what would I choose different?" "What am I choosing and who am I choosing it for?" "If I choose this, what will my life be like in 5 years? 10 years?" It's time for your favorite Zombie Movie Podcast, better known as Dead Man Still Walking — typically a solocast starring the inimitable Dr. Walking Dead Kyle Bishop! During this 59th edition of DMSW, Dr. Bishop is recording from inside a tent (in the late summer of 2025), participating in Girls' Camp! Hey, even if he's not the fastest or cleverest girl at Girls' Camp, he's always the prettiest! Nah, our dear professor is just a great dad and a salt-of-the-Earth individual who selflessly volunteers to chaperone and volunteer as "Bear Bait," in case the young teens are attacked in the wilderness of Utah. Kyle is so cool, he essentially recreates a "Dead Serious Horror Challenge" from the old HMP days and watches scary movies at night in his tent, movies that also occur out in the wilderness. Anywho, here in Dead Man Still Walking, Dr. Kyle William Bishop reviews a Netflix Original, Action Martial Arts / Science Fiction / Zombie flick from Thailand called Ziam (2025) — as in "Zombie Siam" or "Ziam." But using his technical definition, Dr. Bishop would not call "Ziam" much of a Horror movie, despite its zombie monsters because it has hardly any suspense or tension. It is mostly Action (with an empowered protagonist), which is not conducive to promoting fear within viewers. Even so, it's fun to hear Dr. Bishop talk about watching this film during his camping adventures. Listen! Note: This episode was recorded in August 2025. Also, to view ALL of Dr. Bishop's Dead Man Still Walking solocast episodes can USE THIS LINK. Dr. Walking Dead also presents a popular segment called The Dead Zone on regular episodes of this podcast. For his Dead Man Still Walking solocast episodes, Dr. Bishop will focus exclusively on zombie films, with the occasional exploration of zombie-related themes, zombie television, and other zombie media (e.g., comics, literature, etc.). Dr. Bishop is an academic and professional scholar of zombie films and other zombie narratives. He has been teaching for 23 years. The Strategy Skills Podcast: Management Consulting | Strategy, Operations & Implementation | Critical Thinking

Charles Steele reflects on "more than two decades in private equity, banking," combined with "public service roles, including advising Tony Blair," and how these experiences led him to a late but powerful discovery: "the best way to really find purpose in life is to be creative, to make stuff." He explains that "the things I'm writing about now I am only able to write about because of what I spent the last two decades doing," and how this realization became a turning point. He describes how stepping outside traditional career paths creates "periods where you have perspective," and how "follow your curiosity" eventually brought him back to the ideas that mattered in his youth. He shares that "in the last five years, I feel like I've become a student again" and that this shift awakened a deeper understanding of work, mission, and meaning. Charles discusses the discipline behind creative work: "writing is not writing. Writing is rewriting," and how the creative act is "one of making mistakes, learning from them, getting better." He also explains the importance of reframing difficulty, saying, "if it was an easy thing to do, then everyone would do it," and why maintaining "a sense of humor" matters when navigating the inevitable "peaks and troughs." Turning to Elon Musk, Charles argues that Musk is "far more different than most people would imagine." He explains that Musk always says, "when I talk you don't need to read between the lines, just read the lines," and that understanding him requires stepping outside our assumptions: "you have to step out of your shoes and step into his shoes." Charles outlines Musk's worldview, guided by what Musk calls "a philosophy of curiosity." Musk believes "the universe is the answer," and that progress comes from learning to "ask better questions" so we can "increase our consciousness" as a civilization. Charles describes how Musk's companies, from Tesla to SpaceX to XAI, are designed as "civilizationally positive" efforts to "increase the scope and scale of consciousness." He explains Musk's use of first-principles thinking: "you need every time to go back to look at your assumptions," then "make a conjecture" and "try and prove that your theory is wrong." This mindset also shapes how Musk builds organizations: through mission, product obsession, and "the rate of innovation," a culture in which people "work extremely hard" because they believe deeply in the purpose. Charles closes by stressing the importance of alignment and risk-taking: that leaders must understand "your risk tolerance," think in "a range of different outcomes," and recognize that this discipline "really helps you to think about how much risk you're willing to take on for what return." Turning CRM Noise into Results, Ep #495

    Sales Reinvented

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms have long been at the heart of sales organizations, promising improved insights and streamlined processes. Yet, as businesses evolved, so did their CRMs, sometimes for better, sometimes not. In this episode of the Sales Reinvented podcast, I was joined by Tim Gale, European new business sales leader at Sugar CRM, to discuss what CRM 3.0 means in an age where information overload is the new normal.  You'll hear why having too much data can actually hurt sales teams, and learn Tim's top strategies for turning CRM insights into meaningful actions. The conversation gets into the power, and limitations, of AI and automation in CRM, emphasizing where human judgment still makes the difference. Tim also shares his top dos and don'ts for organizations moving toward CRM 3.0, and tells a compelling real-world story of how smart CRM clarity boosted sales performance and revenue. Outline of This Episode 00:00 CRM 3.0: From data to clarity. 03:05 Data overload and inefficiency. 06:10 Leveraging data for sales insights. 09:59 AI as enabler, not a replacement. 15:38 Insights through real-world practice. 18:28 Custom CRMs boost adoption. CRM: From Data Dump to Decision Engine CRM used to function like a digital Rolodex, a static data repository. Then they evolved to offer improved connectivity between sales, marketing, and service, but they still largely functioned as a record of "what happened." The real shift has come with CRM 3.0. It's not about gathering as much data as possible, but about capturing intelligence and clarity through the ABCs: Artificial, Business, and Contextual Intelligence. CRM 3.0 focuses on providing actionable insights, using AI and automation to help sellers know exactly where to spend their time for the most impact.  Signs Your CRM Is Creating Complexity (And How to Fix It) A common pitfall in sales organizations is data overload. Tim warns that when sales reps spend more time building reports or wading through endless, irrelevant fields, dashboards, and admin tasks, their CRM is failing them. The litmus test is if your teams can't answer simple, strategic questions such as "Which deals are most likely to close this week?" or "Which accounts need attention?" in seconds. If not, your CRM has become noise instead of guidance. If data doesn't drive action within 30 seconds, it's probably just noise. Practical Steps to Transform Data Into Action Empowering sales reps, not overwhelming them, is the mark of an effective CRM. Tim suggests three practical strategies: Focus on Next Best Actions: Use AI-driven prompts to guide reps toward hot opportunities, alert them when proposals are engaged with, and ensure they're not missing out on key prospects. Integrate ERP Insights: Link CRM with ERP systems to surface valuable trends, giving sellers visibility into buying patterns and upsell opportunities they might otherwise miss. Visualize Outcomes, Not Just Activities: Track KPIs and account health, but connect them directly to actionable insights such as pipeline movement and client retention risks. Action beats analytics, it's not about what happened, but what to do next. Choosing Clarity Over Complexity For sales leaders, the challenge isn't just managing data, but distilling it down to what matters. If data doesn't change a decision or behavior, it shouldn't be on the dashboard. Metrics should be meaningful, drive clear next steps, and support precision selling. Leaders must aim for executive sponsorship, clear business outcomes, and simplification at every turn. Many CRM initiatives fail due to noisy systems and poor change management, a reminder that technology alone isn't enough. AI is Human Judgment's Partner, Not Its Replacement Even as AI and automation transform CRM, the human element remains irreplaceable. AI can predict "what," but only humans can interpret "why", understanding emotion, tone, and true intent. CRM 3.0 should empower sales professionals, not replace their expertise. AI is an enabler, not just a technology. It's there to take away human admin and let us spend more time building relationships and serving clients. Tim shares a great case study of a manufacturing client whose previous CRM was so complex that sales teams reverted to Excel, losing critical insights. By designing a CRM tailored to user groups and focusing on clarity, engagement soared. Adoption hit 100%, pipeline increased 42%, and sales targets were exceeded by 44%. The lesson is that clarity drives action, and action drives performance. CRM 3.0 isn't just a technological upgrade, it's a philosophy shift. By prioritizing simplicity, actionable insights, and human intelligence, sales teams can transform data overload into real, measurable success. A school administrator and massage therapist wants guidance on how to respond to a student who is reluctant to work with clinic clients who report a history of herpes. Is this a significant risk for massage therapists? The reality is that anyone with a history of herpes simplex can shed the virus intermittently, even without visible symptoms. However, the risk to massage therapists who follow proper hygiene and self-care protocols is extremely low. In that sense, herpes falls into the same category as other infections that may be transmitted through direct contact but are effectively managed with consistent hygienic practices. The key issue is not the client's infection status; it is the therapist's adherence to appropriate hygiene protocols. Resources: Ang, J.Y. et al. "Remember that being underestimated is an opportunity. Carve out your own niche, innovate, and let your authenticity do the talking." Episode Summary: Welcome to this episode of The Gun Experiment, where Big Keith and I sit down with Chris Long, the content and communications manager — now head of marketing — for Walther Arms. We kick things off sharing funny and awkward stories from daily life, then dive into Chris's unique journey from fuel tank cleaning to leading marketing for one of the gun industry's most innovative brands. We explore Walther's approach to product development, social media restrictions, creative marketing strategies, and how being the “underdog” is actually a pretty great place to be. We discuss Walther's generous 30-day money-back guarantee and their efforts to expand gun culture into fringe markets like action sports, cars, and martial arts. Chris shares behind-the-scenes insights on product innovation (hello, PDP and the drift car!), the importance of training, and why pistol shooting should be treated almost like a martial art. If you're curious about where Walther is headed, how they keep things “real,” and how brands can help normalize responsible firearms ownership, this episode is packed with relatable stories and actionable insights. Onsite Firearms Training: Our trusted partner for firearms training — fundamentals, accountability, decision-making, and performance matter most. Key Takeaways: Walther Arms offers an industry-leading, no-questions-asked 30-day money-back guarantee on their pistols. Social media restrictions remain a big challenge for firearm marketing, but creativity and authenticity can still win. Walther is pushing the boundaries by bridging the gap between gun culture and fringe/action sports, cars, music, and martial arts. Treating pistol shooting as a martial art, and focusing on training over gear, sets serious gun owners apart. Being a smaller “underdog” allows Walther to move fast, be real, and build a tight-knit family culture in the industry. The PDP line stands out for trigger, ergonomics, and innovation — and Walther continues to expand its product offerings globally. Authentic community engagement (like collabs on social media) is key for growing brand loyalty. Are you a high-earning dentist… living paycheck to paycheck? Do you ever feel financially stretched – despite earning well? Are you trapped in dentistry's “golden handcuffs”? And what would your life look like if you worked because you wanted to… not because you had to? In this rare solo episode, Jaz steps away from occlusion and restorative dentistry to talk about something just as important: personal finances and career security for dentists. After going deep down the money rabbit hole — reading books like Rich Dad Poor Dad, The Simple Path to Wealth, and I Will Teach You To Be Rich — Jaz shares how his upbringing, early career decisions, and financial education shaped his beliefs about wealth, freedom, and dentistry. This isn't financial advice. It's a mindset shift. And for many dentists, it might be the most important episode you hear this year. https://youtu.be/4OXruGIdb_g Watch IC068 on YouTube Your day list reflects your earning power. The work you do each day quietly sets the limits of what you can earn.
