Join Michael at his Mt. Shasta Summer Retreat, July 30 - August 2! Click here: https://events.agapelive.com/mt-shasta-summer-retreat/.  Today, Michael welcomes Dr. Sue Morter.  Sue is an internationally acclaimed speaker, Master of Bioenergetic Medicine, and thought leader bridging science, spirituality, and human potential. As the founder and CEO of the Morter Institute for Bioenergetics, she teaches how to reprogram the body's electromagnetic energy flow through embodiment, self-healing, and higher consciousness. Her latest book, The Anatomy of Awakening, explores the hidden codes that help unlock the truth of who we are and live from our divine destiny.  Conversation Highlights Include: -Why awakening is not about fixing yourself, but remembering the divine wholeness that has always been who you truly are. -How embodiment shifts spiritual practice from trying to leave the body into fully inhabiting life with presence, clarity, and purpose. -A deeper look at the "God body" as the energetic bridge between the physical self and the higher consciousness we are learning to embody. -The importance of rewriting your identity so you stop seeing yourself as separate from Source and begin living as an expression of it. -How the body uses sensations, tightness, emotion, and energy to guide you back toward the parts of yourself that need awareness and integration. -Why spiritual practice is not meant to be an escape from life, but a way to bring your true self into relationships, family, work, and the world. -How bringing attention back into the body helps reclaim energy, soften old protective patterns, and expand your capacity to live authentically. -A powerful reframing of Love as the organizing force of the Cosmos, not just an emotion exchanged between people. -Why heaviness, sadness, anxiety, or fear can become doorways into healing when you follow them inward with breath, presence, and compassion. Michael closes the episode with a guided meditation on the inward smile, gratitude, divine identity, and remembering that everything you need is already within you.

Share a commentJesus builds a movement without grabbing the obvious power players. No rabbi to cite chapter and verse on command. No scribe to document the moment. No insider with the right family name. When we trace Luke 6, we're confronted with a Messiah who skips the religious establishment and chooses “dust-covered” learners, men close enough to be marked by his footsteps. We talk through the ancient picture behind discipleship: following so closely behind a master that you wear the dust of your teacher. That image turns Christian discipleship into something concrete and personal, not a label or a hobby. Then Luke pauses on a detail that's easy to rush past: Jesus spends the entire night in prayer before selecting the Twelve, described with language like a physician keeping an all-night bedside vigil. We unpack what that kind of prayer says about spiritual leadership, pressure, and Jesus' ongoing intercession for people he already knows completely. From there, two truths sharpen the whole story: Jesus chooses these men not because he needs them, but because they need him, and not because of who they are, but because of who they will become. We look at the surprising mix of backgrounds and personalities, then zoom in on Peter's slow transformation from unpredictable to steadfast, and Andrew's quiet faithfulness as the one who keeps bringing people to Jesus. If you've ever wondered whether your flaws disqualify you, Luke 6 answers with hope and a next step.Subscribe for more, share this with a friend who needs encouragement, and leave a review with one line on what it means to “wear the dust” of Jesus. He Was Wrongfully Accused of One of the Worst Crimes. A Father's Nightmare: False Allegations, Jail Time, and a Lifetime of Consequences. Imagine being accused of one of society's most hated crimes, sexual assault against your own child, only to discover that proving your innocence may take years, cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, and permanently destroy your family. The Podcast is available for free on the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast website, also on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, iHeartradio and most major podcast platforms. #LawEnforcementTalk #Free #Podcast #Radio That nightmare became reality for Dean Tong. And he is a guest on our show talking about it. The Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast social media like their Facebook , Instagram , LinkedIn , Medium and other social media platforms. Today, Tong is a nationally recognized forensic trial expert, author, and advocate for parents caught in high-conflict child custody disputes. But decades ago, he found himself at the center of a devastating accusation that changed his life forever. Supporting articles about this and much more from Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast in platforms like Medium , Blogspot and Linkedin. His powerful story is featured on the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast, available on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, LinkedIn, and other major platforms. The Accusation That Changed Everything In 1985, during a bitter custody battle with his estranged wife, Tong was accused of sexually abusing his three-year-old daughter. "The accusation alone was enough to destroy my life," Tong explains. Authorities arrested him and charged him with capital sexual battery. He was immediately prohibited from seeing his children and was incarcerated for two weeks without bail. Although he was eventually granted bail, the damage had already begun. He Was Wrongfully Accused of One of the Worst Crimes. The episode is available across major platforms including their website, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, with highlights shared across their Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn profiles. For the next 14 months, Tong lived under the weight of allegations that carried the potential for life-altering consequences. Then something remarkable happened. The criminal charges were dropped. No prosecution followed. No conviction occurred. Ultimately, authorities found there was insufficient evidence to support the allegations. Yet the nightmare was far from over. Cleared, But Not Free Many people assume that when charges are dropped, life returns to normal. Tong says nothing could be further from the truth. "Even after the charges were dropped, I spent years trying to clear my name," he recalls. Over the next decade, he fought through lawsuits, custody battles, expert evaluations, and court proceedings. He estimates spending more than $120,000 on eight attorneys and seven psychiatrists. Available for free on the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast website, also on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Youtube and most major Podcast networks. While he fought to rebuild his reputation, his children continued living with their mother. The emotional cost proved even greater. Today, Tong says he has no relationship with the daughter whose allegations sparked the case. That is by her choice. He Was Wrongfully Accused of One of the Worst Crimes. "That relationship was lost forever," he says. The Complex Reality of Child Abuse Allegations Tong is careful to emphasize that child abuse and sexual assault are very real crimes that deserve serious investigation and prosecution. At the same time, he believes the legal system must recognize the existence of false allegations and flawed investigative practices. The Podcast is available for free on the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast website, also on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, iHeartradio and most major podcast platforms. Research over several decades has shown that false allegations do occur, particularly in contentious divorce and child custody disputes. Studies conducted between the late 1980s and mid-1990s found varying rates of false allegations, with estimates ranging from approximately 6% to 35%, depending on how researchers defined and measured false reports. Experts have noted that most allegations determined to be false did not originate with children themselves but were often introduced by adults involved in family conflicts. "Young children can be highly impressionable," Tong explains. "The way questions are asked can influence responses." He points to court findings and research that highlight concerns about suggestive interviewing techniques, particularly when very young children are involved. When Investigations Go Wrong One of the most controversial aspects of Tong's experience involves what psychologists call confirmation bias. Once investigators become convinced that abuse occurred, they may unintentionally focus on evidence that supports their belief while overlooking information that points in another direction. The Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast continues bringing listeners real conversations from the front lines of crime, policing, trauma, survival, and healing. Tong believes this phenomenon played a major role in his case. "Sometimes the accusation becomes the evidence," he says. He argues that objective forensic interviewing and evidence-based investigations are essential safeguards for both children and accused individuals. Turning Personal Tragedy Into Professional Purpose Rather than allowing the experience to define him, Tong transformed it into a lifelong mission. He earned a Master of Science degree in Psychology and the Law, specializing in child forensic studies. Over the past three decades, he has become a nationally certified child forensic interviewer, forensic consultant, and expert witness. Tong has testified more than 65 times in courts across 19 states and has been recognized as an expert witness in criminal, family, juvenile, and administrative proceedings. He Was Wrongfully Accused of One of the Worst Crimes. The complete interview is available as a Free Podcast on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, LinkedIn, and major podcast platforms. His work has helped parents facing allegations navigate some of the most challenging legal battles imaginable. He is also the author of three books, including Elusive Innocence: Survival Guide for the Falsely Accused. "Nobody should have to go through what I experienced," Tong says. National Media Recognition Tong's expertise has drawn attention from major national media outlets over the years. His work and commentary have appeared in: ABC Prime Time Live Dateline CNN Nancy Grace Court TV CBS 48 Hours Dr. Phil The Washington Post Rolling Stone Christian Science Monitor Today, he continues assisting families across the country and providing guidance through social media platforms, including Facebook. A Story That Raises Difficult Questions The discussion surrounding child abuse allegations is often emotionally charged, and understandably so. Protecting children remains the highest priority. Yet Tong's story raises important questions about due process, investigative practices, forensic interviewing, and the long-term consequences of allegations that are later determined to be unsupported. He Was Wrongfully Accused of One of the Worst Crimes. Listeners can hear the complete interview on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeartRadio, and other major Podcast, Radio, News, and Media platforms. His experience serves as a reminder that every allegation deserves a thorough, professional, and evidence-based investigation. As Tong continues to advocate for fairness within the legal system, he remains committed to helping others avoid the devastating consequences he endured. "Truth matters," he says. "And every person deserves the opportunity to be heard." What if the key to reducing stress, taming inflammation, and building true resilience was already wired inside you? In this illuminating episode, Dr. Fiona Lovely welcomes fellow chiropractor and functional medicine expert Dr. Navaz Habib, bestselling author of Activate Your Vagus Nerve and Upgrade Your Vagus Nerve, to explore the body's most underappreciated healing pathway. Dr. Habib shares his personal journey from chronic health struggles to discovering functional medicine, which led him to a powerful realization: uncontrolled inflammation is the common thread behind most chronic illnesses, and the vagus nerve holds the master switch. He breaks down why eighty percent of vagus nerve signals travel from the body to the brain—not the other way around—and how this changes everything for women navigating perimenopause. Listeners will learn why declining estrogen leaves them more vulnerable to inflammation, how heart rate variability serves as a window into nervous system health, and why protecting sleep is non-negotiable. Dr. Habib also delivers a memorable distinction between comfort and safety, explaining why scrolling a phone may feel soothing but never truly calming. He then offers three practical pillars of vagus nerve training: nasal breathing, diaphragmatic breathing, and longer exhales, with simple temperature therapy to build adaptive capacity. Episode Highlights: Why chronic inflammation is the common path behind most modern illnesses. The surprising truth is that 80% of vagus nerve signals travel from organs to the brain. How declining estrogen during perimenopause worsens inflammation without a strong vagus nerve. The critical difference between comfort and safety—and why your phone can't give you either. Three specific breathing techniques to build vagal tone and increase heart rate variability. Simple temperature contrast methods to build resilience, starting with just twenty seconds. Tune in to learn how to stop seeking comfort and start building the nervous system resilience every woman in midlife deserves.   Thank you to our sponsors for this episode: If you're noticing fine lines, wrinkles, or sagging skin — thanks menopause —ugh, me too. You've probably heard me say this before, but I'm going to say it again because it's one of the biggest things I see inside my clients' businesses. You are not as far away as you think you are. So many women come into my world after years of personal development, healing, mindset work, spiritual work, embodiment work. They've changed. They think differently. They lead differently. They have a completely different relationship with themselves than they did a year ago. But their business results haven't fully caught up yet and because of that, they start questioning everything. Maybe I need a new strategy, a new offer, a new niche. Maybe I need to burn it all down and start over. The problem isn't that they don't know what they're doing. The problem is that they're distracted and they're waiting for the identity to feel fully embodied before they start taking the actions that version of themselves would take. In this episode, we're talking about why it actually works the other way around. Action creates identity. The Universe hears your declarations about who you're becoming, but at some point it wants to see you move. It wants to see you back yourself. It wants to see you take the actions that woman would take before it feels comfortable, before it feels natural, before it feels fully locked in. I also walk you through a simple process for getting clear on what actually matters in your business right now. Your work. Your people. Your offers. Your content. The things that are actually creating momentum. Because strategy gets to be simple. You don't need twenty different things working at once. You need clarity, focus, you need to stop pivoting every time something doesn't work after five minutes. You need to hold the line long enough for momentum to build. If you've been feeling scattered, questioning yourself, or wondering why your results haven't caught up to the woman you've become, this episode is for you. Resources Mentioned: Attraction: How to Master the Art of Effortless Client Attraction This $22 training will show you what actually creates client attraction in your business. Not more content. Not more busy work. Not trying to be everywhere at once. We'll look at what helps people connect with you, trust you, and see themselves in your work so signing clients starts feeling a whole lot more natural. https://www.kerikugler.com/attraction Business Alignment Intensive If you're ready to stop guessing and get clear on the exact actions that make sense for your business, your goals, your offers, and your people, this is for you. Turn Setbacks Into Wins With Neutral Thinking   Success does not protect you from feeling stuck. In fact, for many high achievers, the pressure to keep performing can bury the deeper questions that actually matter. This conversation with Joshua Lifrak is about what happens when the old way of thinking stops working and you need a more honest framework for resilience, growth, and living with intention. Joshua knows this terrain from both sides. He grew up around financial scarcity, built a career in elite performance, and lived through bankruptcy before rebuilding. Along the way, he worked with top athletes and organizations, including the Chicago Cubs during their 2016 World Series run, and built a framework for performing under pressure that now serves business leaders as well.   In This Episode: How childhood scarcity shaped Joshua's early relationship with money Why bankruptcy became a turning point instead of an ending What elite athletes understand about mental preparation that most executives do not The power of neutral thinking in high-pressure moments Why knowledge without action changes nothing How to stop living by default and start living by design What "Mile Zero" means for your next chapter   Key Insights: The story you attach to a setback often creates more damage than the setback itself. Neutral thinking creates space for better decisions. Real performance is built before the pressure moment arrives. Growth comes from repetition, not occasional inspiration. The past only controls the future if you keep giving it that power.   Money Learnings from Joshua: He grew up with a scarcity-based relationship to money and remembers what it felt like when finances were tight at home. School did not teach him much about money, and he says he did not truly begin to understand how money could work for you until later in life. He credits his wife, Karen, with helping shape a more thoughtful financial approach through long-term planning, investing, and thinking differently about how to use money to create freedom and better choices.   Why This Conversation Matters: It speaks directly to entrepreneurs and high achievers who know what pressure feels like. Success does not eliminate setbacks, self-doubt, or emotional overreaction. In many cases, it raises the stakes. Joshua brings a rare perspective because he connects personal financial struggle, elite athletic performance, and business leadership into one practical framework. For anyone building a company, leading a team, or trying to grow through a difficult season, this episode is a reminder that better results often begin with better thinking. This is what makes the conversation so relevant for entrepreneurs and high achievers. Success does not remove pressure. It often amplifies it. And when pressure rises, the real question is whether you will react emotionally or respond with intention. Joshua's concept of neutral thinking offers a grounded way forward.   About Joshua Lifrak: Joshua Lifrak, M.S., author of WIN TODAY, is Director of Performance and Coaching at Limitless Minds, a mental performance consultancy, delivering keynotes and advising individuals, small businesses, and top multinationals including McDonalds, Novartis, Pfizer, KPMG, and Amazon. He started his career as a mental conditioning consultant with IMG Academy, working with MLB players, NBA and NFL draft picks, the US Soccer U-17 Men's National Team and many elite college programs. He then joined the Chicago Cubs as director of their mental skills program. His work there culminated in the Cubs' 2016 World Series victory. After his stint with the Cubs, he went on to be the Major League Mental Skills Coach for the New York Mets. In this week's episode of The Bible for Normal People, Jared continues his tour through the history of modern biblical scholarship, exploring five (or six) more “aha moments” that transformed how scholars understand the Bible. From Rudolf Bultmann's challenge to interpret ancient texts in a modern world and the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, to new insights about editorial shaping, literary criticism, and the role of readers themselves, he traces how scholarship increasingly revealed the Bible as a dynamic, evolving tradition. Along the way, Jared highlights the rise of feminist, liberationist, and postmodern approaches, as well as the New Perspective on Paul, showing how fresh historical evidence and diverse voices have reshaped long-held assumptions about scripture, interpretation, and faith. Together, these developments invite listeners to approach the Bible with greater historical awareness, intellectual humility, and curiosity about the communities that produced, preserved, and continue to interpret these sacred texts. On Your World of Creativity, we travel around the world talking with creative practitioners who turn ideas into impact. In just the past few episodes, we've been (virtually) exploring creative centers like London, Sydney, and Las Vegas — along with vibrant hubs like Pittsburgh and Austin. Today, we're in New York City… and even making a stop in Times Square ... with a guest who has quite literally taken her voice global.I'm joined by Kneet — a Thai Sikh Punjabi independent artist blending Bollywood glam with hip-hop swagger. Her music explores identity, resilience, cultural fusion, and creative reinvention. Her breakout single “RISE” hit #1 on Apple Music video charts and appeared on Times Square billboards — marking a defining moment in her independent journey. She's continued that momentum with her latest release, “My Man.”But beyond the music, Kneet brings a powerful lived experience — navigating motherhood, advocacy, and systemic challenges — while completing her Master's in Developmental Psychology.Today, we're talking about Creative Cultural Expression… and the Power of Voice.Kneet is a global independent artist whose sound blends pop, hip-hop, soul/R&B, and cinematic storytelling — shaped by a life lived across cultures. Her work is rooted in truth — transforming personal experience into universal expression. Whether through music, advocacy, or storytelling, she is reclaiming voice, honoring identity, and creating space for authenticity.1 — Identity as Creative FuelKneet, your music feels deeply rooted in identity — cultural, personal, and emotional. What first inspired you to use music as a way to express who you are and what you've lived through? How has your Thai Sikh Punjabi background shaped your sound, your storytelling, and the way you show up as an artist?2 — The Power of VoiceThis episode is really centered on the idea of “the power of voice.” What does that mean to you — both as an artist and as a person navigating real-life challenges? Was there a moment in your life where you realized you had to stop surviving… and start choosing your voice?3 — Creativity as Healing & TransformationYour work carries emotional depth — it feels like more than performance, it feels like processing and transformation. How does music become a tool for healing when words alone aren't enough? You're navigating intense personal experiences while continuing to create. How do you stay grounded and protect your creative energy during those times?4 — Turning Personal Story into Universal ConnectionOne of the most powerful things about your music is how personal stories become something universal. How do you translate your lived experience into songs that resonate across cultures and audiences? Why do you think so many strong voices — especially women — are often misunderstood, and how does reclaiming your voice shift that narrative?5 — Rising as an Independent ArtistYour single “RISE” hitting #1 and appearing in Times Square is an incredible milestone — especially as an independent artist. What did that moment represent for you?For other artists listening, what are some practical ways they can unlock their voice, build confidence, and create opportunities without waiting for permission?SummaryToday we explored what it means to create from identity, to reclaim your voice, and to use creativity not just as expression — but as transformation. From blending cultures into a unique artistic sound…to turning personal challenges into global connection…to rising as an independent artist on your own terms…Kneet's story reminds us that our voice is not something we're given — it's something we claim. If you enjoyed this episode, take a moment to subscribe, rate, and review Your World of Creativity on your favorite podcast app.It helps more creative voices like Kneet's be heard around the world. And come back next time, as we continue our journey… unlocking… Your World of Creativity.

What if the pressure you're under right now isn't a sign that something is going wrong — but that something is being built? We live in a world that treats discomfort as a problem to be solved and pressure as a threat to be escaped. But Christine Caine opens Hebrews with a different diagnosis entirely: the pressure isn't the enemy of your faith. It's the furnace where your faith becomes real. In week 3 of our summer series, Christine Caine closes the Root phase with the message that connects everything: faith, endurance, and pressure don't just coexist — they're designed to work together. James 1 tells us the testing of faith produces endurance. Endurance produces the rooted character that holds a flourishing life. Roots don't grow in comfort. They grow in resistance. This is the last week of the Root phase. Next week everything shifts — and you need this foundation under you before it does. ✨ If you've ever asked questions like… ✅ How do I keep going in my faith when I'm exhausted and everything feels hard? ✅ Is it okay to feel like I want to quit — and what do I do with that feeling? ✅ Why does God allow so much pressure and pain if He's for me? ✅ What does it mean to run with endurance — is that just white-knuckling it? ✅ How do I stop running from hard things and start growing through them? ✅ What does the "great cloud of witnesses" actually mean for me in my daily life? ✅ How do I build roots strong enough to hold everything God is calling me toward? …then this is your episode.

Show Notes: Gaurav Bhosle talks about his coaching practice, which is split 50/50 between helping people get hired by consulting firms and coaching current consultants. He shares his background as an ex-McKinsey consultant and his MBA from HEC Paris, noting the lack of preparation structures for consulting firms in 2006-2007. Breaking into Consulting Gaurav recounts how a former HEC alum helped him prepare for consulting firms, leading to his success in joining McKinsey in Frankfurt. He explains his transition from McKinsey to coaching, driven by his passion for strategy and career development, and his decision to focus on career strategy for consultants. Gaurav discusses his realization that breaking into consulting is not the ultimate goal but thriving in it is. The Upskilling Journey He shares his journey of upskilling, including obtaining ICF certification, psychometric tools, NLP, and TA, to provide deeper career coaching. Gaurav explains his shift from helping people get into consulting to coaching current consultants on career strategies and performance improvement. He emphasizes the importance of career happiness and the need for consultants to thrive in their roles, not just get hired. The Three-step Process  Gaurav describes his three-step process: foundation, parallel tracks (networking and practice), and polishing. He emphasizes the importance of mindset, skill set, and tool set, particularly the mindset of preparing to be a good consultant rather than just cracking interviews. Gaurav details the foundation phase, which includes preparing for cases, understanding fit questions, and polishing the consulting CV. Gaurav outlines the practical steps for case interview preparation, including the importance of practicing with peers and AI. He explains the three-step process for data interpretation: data sanity check, extracting insights, and communicating findings. The Value of Top-down Communication Skills Gaurav emphasizes the importance of top-down communication and preparing fit answers with headlines first. He shares tips for practicing data analytics skills, including using charts as part of case interviews and focusing on the context and problem-solving. Gaurav discusses the challenges of developing top-down communication skills, especially for those from Eastern cultures or non-consulting backgrounds. He shares his personal journey of adapting to top-down communication in McKinsey and the importance of pushing oneself to communicate insights at a higher level. Gaurav explains the STAR format for storytelling in interviews and the importance of starting with headlines. He emphasizes the need for consultants to communicate crisply and lead the conversation, rather than providing lengthy explanations Coaching Practice and Processes  When asked the first step in his coaching process, Gaurav explains the importance of achieving orientation and having clear career goals beyond superficial reasons like travel or status. He shares his use of psychometric assessments and the "Why should we hire you?" question to gauge a candidate's value proposition. Gaurav highlights the need for candidates to have a clear understanding of their career motivations and the ability to articulate their unique value. Coaching Consultants on Performance Improvement The conversation turns to Gaurav's practice of coaching current consultants on performance improvement. He shares an example of a recent MBB consultant seeking promotion to engagement manager and feedback on case leadership. Gaurav explains the importance of understanding the root cause of feedback and implementing systems for continuous improvement. He emphasizes the need for consultants to seek frequent feedback, develop systems for transparency, and build checklists for effective project management.  "Fit-for-consulting" Assessment Gaurav discusses the use of psychometric assessments and other tools to understand candidates' personality and fit for consulting. He shares his experience coaching a diverse range of professionals, including US Marines, public servants, and athletes, to transition into consulting. Gaurav highlights the importance of having a clear value proposition and the ability to articulate it effectively, and he emphasizes the need for consultants to have a strong achievement orientation and the willingness to adapt to the demanding nature of the role. Then, in his early fifties, he had a wake-up call. It sent him to look under a rock he'd never lifted, where he found “an absolute cavern of issues.” The result is his sixth book, The Future is Grey: The Untapped Value of Age in the Workforce. Dan lays out the coming “bell to bulb” demographic inversion and the risks for organizations ignoring it. For individuals, he reframes the whole arc of a working life, from the language of generations (which he rejects as an ageist cognitive bias) to three universal career eras: Rivers, Rocks, and Rubies. That demographic inversion means experience will become more scarce and valuable. The through-line is don’t retire,  rewire instead. He shares stories of people who kept working or returned to work in a different way, which brings his concept of the “experience dividend” to life. ________________________ Bio Dan Pontefract is a renowned leadership and culture strategist, author, and keynote speaker with over two decades of experience in senior executive roles at companies such as SAP, TELUS, and Business Objects. Patrick Farrell, co-founder of Keystone Investing, shares how God reshaped his understanding of success, stewardship, and surrender through entrepreneurship, investing, and community. After growing up in a generous household and later chasing performance and achievement, Patrick encountered Jesus in high school and eventually rediscovered a deeper, more relational faith while working at a cybersecurity startup. That season of spiritual renewal planted the seeds for Keystone Investing, a faith-driven investing community helping investors align their capital with Kingdom values. In this conversation, Patrick explains how Keystone creates spaces where investors and founders can pursue both financial excellence and meaningful impact without sacrificing relationships or spiritual formation. He reflects on the dangers of performance-driven stewardship, the importance of wise and thoughtful risk-taking, and why generosity and investing both require surrender to God's lead. Along the way, he offers practical wisdom for discerning where God may be leading your resources and how community can help shape faithful decision-making. Listen to discover how surrendering control of your finances can open the door to deeper joy, discernment, and Kingdom impact. Major Topics Include: Surrendering control of financial stewardship Investing through relationships, not transactions Breaking performance-driven identity patterns Aligning capital with Kingdom convictions Building community around faith-driven investing Pursuing profit alongside Kingdom impact Discerning risk through intimacy with God Practicing generosity from abundance, not fear Integrating faith into business leadership Cultivating wise stewardship through spiritual formation QUOTES TO REMEMBER “The first step on the stewardship journey is recognizing that all of your capital is God's. It all belongs to Him.” “If you start there in that position of surrender, I'm so confident that God will do the rest.” “This entire process of faith-driven investing is all about growing in intimacy with the Lord.” “You can make a ton of money, you can have a ton of impact, but if you're not transformed and the people around you aren't transformed, then that falls short of what I think God's goal was.” “We want to find excellent values-aligned founders building intentional mission-driven businesses that are heading toward sustainability and profitability and growth and scale.” “Faith-driven investing can be excellent. It can be excellent for people, excellent for impact, and excellent financially.” “You don't necessarily have to sacrifice returns in order to see Kingdom impact.” “God is using investing to work on investors.” “God cares about relationships more than really anything else.” “Anything that we set up from a business perspective that deprioritizes relationship tends to fall victim to our sinful nature.” “There are few people within a founder's life that have more access to them than their investors.” “Most of the time, in my experience, God's going to push us into more and greater risk to help us rely on Him.” “The steward buried his talent because he was worried about retribution. And the Master is upset that the steward thought of Him that way.” LINKS FROM THE SHOW Keystone Investing Mark Batterson, Pastor and Author (see our past interview here) Praxis (see our interview with Cofounder Josh Kwan) Bill and Dana Wichterman, Givers and Impact Investors (see our past interview here) Faith Driven Entrepreneur Faith Driven Investor Eventide Sovereigns Capital BIBLE REFERENCES FROM THE SHOW Deuteronomy 6:12 | Only by the Grace of God  then take care lest you forget the Lord, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. In the jaws of a trap, Jesus utters 10 simple words that changed the world. In Mark 12:13-17, the Pharisees and Herodians unite in an attempt to force Jesus into an impossible choice: oppose Caesar and face execution, or support Roman taxation and lose the support of the people. Instead, Jesus responds with ten simple words that transformed the world's understanding of government, authority, and allegiance. And it was impossible to argue against. How should Christians relate to government? What rights does God give secular governments? What demands are they free to make, and where are the limits? And what belongs only to God? My name is Molly Downs-Stoller and I'm a gay, Christian, Marriage and Family Therapist who lives in San Diego with my wonderful wife Sue and our dog Sir Andrew James.  I have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Point Loma Nazarene University and a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego. I became a Christian in high school after going to a Southern Baptist youth group and I have been involved with conservative churches up until the day I met my wife. Meeting her totally rocked my world!  For years, I have heard preaching about homosexuality being a sin, however I found myself in love with a woman, and one who loves God. I didn't understand how our amazing love for each other could have been a sin.  Wow…I was completely wrong all of those years and I know without a doubt that God not only loves me but will never leave me. The journey that we walk as LGBTQIA Christians can be a difficult one, however it doesn't have to be a lonely one. I ended up losing my church, my best friend and my goddaughter, however I have never been happier or felt as free as I do now. I needed supportive/affirming friends and an affirming therapist to help me get to the other side of my loss and confusion and now I have the chance to walk alongside others. I have worked in the mental health field for over 15 years and have seen the healing power of faith and therapy.  I became a therapist so I could join others in the difficult stories and experiences in their lives and finding clarity and freedom in those places.  I have extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma and crisis intervention. I am also Level 2 trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), as well as EMDR. I am so truly blessed to be able to help people sort through what they believe in, how they see God, how they see themselves, and how God sees them.   So let's do this together!
