Welcome to Multiverse News, Your source for Information about all your favorite fictional universes Reliable scooper Jeff Sneider claims Marvel Studios is actively looking for an actor to play T'Challa/The Black Panther, replacing the late Chadwick Boseman who passed away in 2020. According to Sneider, the studio's replacement of Boseman is only due to the fact that the MCU is working within the Multiverse currently. In related news, when asked during an interview about a dream role, Wicked star Cynthia Erivo said she would “really want to play Storm,” to “uncover how grand she is,”. Lastly, an OG villain is returning to the MCU, with Faran Tahir coming to the small screen to reprise the character of Raza, the leader of the so-called Ten Rings from 2008's Iron Man. In some confirmed casting news, Rory McCann will replace the late Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll for Ahsoka season two. McCann is best known for playing The Hound in Game of Thrones, but his roster of work also includes Gladiator II, Hot Fuzz, Clash of the Titans, and more. Ahsoka is part of Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau's Mandoverse, and Filoni will return as showrunner for season two. Director Andy Muschietti let it be known why he thinks the 2023 DCEU movie The Flash, flopped. On Radio Tu's “La Baulera del Coso” show, Muschietti said the film didn't appeal to “all four quadrants” of moviegoers. The quadrants he's speaking of are men over 25, men under 25, women over 25, and women under 25. Muschietti also said anecdotally that in conversations with people he found they “just don't care about the Flash as a character…particularly the two female quadrants.” Colman Domingo has been cast in Edgar Wright's The Running Man and will star alongside Glen Powell, Josh Brolin, Karl Glusman, Katy O'Brian and Daniel Ezra. The film releases on November 7. Production on many Hollywood television and film projects has been suspended and events such as The Critic's Choice Awards, red carpet premieres, and The Academy Awards nominations have been postponed due to the LA area wildfires. Five-time WWE world champion Seth Rollins has confirmed he is not in upcoming MCU movie Captain America: Brave New World, saying his role was cut following extensive rewrites of the script and subsequent reshoots. Universal Pictures has updated the release date calendar for two animated properties. DreamWorks' Shrek 5 has been pushed back almost 6 months to December 23, 2026 and Minions 3 from Illumination is moving forward almost a year to take Shrek 5's original date of July 1, 2026. Variety reported today that MCU screenwriting veteran Marcus McFeely originally turned the Russo Brothers down about writing for Secret Wars, even though he is the reason the directing duo is returning. However, the next day McFeely called the Russos back and said he was in after coming up with an idea for the film. Warner Brothers is bringing back The Puppy Bowl for its 21st installment this year, but will use the game to bolster its upcoming DCU film Superman. James Gunn will appear during The Puppy Bowl with his dog Ozu, who served as the inspiration for the superdog Krypto in the film. Gunn will introduce a sneak preview of Superman and deliver a “special message” to viewers. According to box office tracking service Quorum, Captain America: Brave New World will likely cross the $100 Million Dollar Mark in it's opening 4 day weekend Ludwig Göransson will compose the score for Christopher Nolan's upcoming adaptation of The Odyssey. Göransson's other film and TV credits include Creed, Black Panther, Atlanta, Tenet, and The Mandalorian. Succession creator Jesse Armstrong has reached an agreement with HBO to produce a feature film. The movie is based on an original idea of Armstrong's and will center on four friends who meet up in the midst of a global financial crisis. Production is currently fast-tracked to start later this year.

It's been 24 years since “Gladiator” took the world by storm and spawned a whole new era of swords and sandals movies. Will it's sequel “Gladiator II”, our movie for this week, do the same? We shall see. This time the main character is Lucius, who we met as a young boy in the original “Gladiator.” He's the son of Lucilla, and it's revealed in the trailers, the son of Maximus, Russell Crowe's character from “Gladiator.” Lucius suffers a tragedy early in the movie and is made a slave and then rises up as a gladiator for Macrinus, played by Denzel Washington. Macrinus is not all he appears to be and is proven to be power hungry and wants to use Lucius as his instrument for power. Another main character is General Acacius, played by Pedro Pascal, who is the leader of the Roman army who fight for Emperor Geta and Emperor Caracalla, played by Joseph Quinn and Fred Hechinger respectively. Acacius isn't exactly excited anymore to be dispatched like an errand boy by these emperors to kill people all over the world and conquer lands. Connie Nielsen returns to play Lucilla and as she sees a particular gladiator fight in the Colosseum, she starts to get a feeling that she knows this man. All of these worlds will collide. Sometimes sequels surpass the quality of the original. Does “Gladiator II” accomplish that feat? Check out this episode to find out! “Gladiator II” also stars Derek Jacobi, Yuval Gonen, Rory McCann, Peter Mensah, Matt Lucas, Tim McInnerny, Alexander Karim and Lior Raz. Squarespace will honor existing customer pricing for at least 12 months following the completion of the purchase. It will also use Google's infrastructure to ensure a "seamless transfer of domains." For existing customers, Squarespace will provide billing and support for Google Workspace customers who've already purchased domains through Google Domains. However, as time goes on and as subscriptions start to renew, these customers will likely be forced to migrate to Squarespace's billing system. Veres Szilárd a múlt héten megnézte velünk a Mindent anyámról című filmet, most rajta volt a sor, hogy egy kedvencét elhozza a podcastba. A választása a xXx: Return of Xander Cage, vagyis a xXx: Újra akcióban című filmre esett. Extrém sportok találkoznak a hajmeresztő speciális effektusokkal és a menő akciókoreográfiákkal. A rivaldafényben Vin Diesel sütkérezik, oldalán olyan nevek bukkannak még fel, mint Donnie Yen, Tony Jaa, Samuel L. Jackson, Nina Dobrev, Rory McCann, vagy nem utolsósorban Toni Collette. Vajon Vin Diesel miért szereti kihagyni a sztárcsináló franchise-ai második részét? Mi lehet a The Rockkal való összekülönbözésük hátterében? Mik a film legkínosabb momentumai? The guys talk about how every character thinks (and says) that Xander is so freakin' cool, they discuss the one team member whose specialty is running into bullets and crashing his car, the absurd grenade/hot potato scene is broken down, Ice Cube's pointless cameo makes everyone shrug and much more! In this week's episode, we discuss the priesthood, scandal, fallen nature of man, redemption, the evils of war, and the reality of spiritual war within the hit HBO show 'Game of Thrones'. Game of Thrones aired its climactic, penultimate episode this week and well, Kate had thoughts. As Noel gave up on the series back in season one, Kate invited on Clint Worthington of The Spool and friend of the show Allison Shoemaker for a special bonus episode of The Televerse. Allison, Clint, and Kate break down the good, the bad, and the ugly of Game of Thrones’ most divisive episode in years, diving right in, and still somehow barely scratching the surface 40 minutes later.Note: Usually we keep things PG here at The Televerse, but given the subject matter, we didn’t bother bleeping the F-bombs this time. If you’re mature enough to watch Game of Thrones, we figure you likely won’t mind some mild profanity. Music Featured: “Game of Goats”
Who let the dog out!?! Who!?! Who!?! Who!?! Who!?! Season 8 of Game of Thrones is just around the corner, so we thought it was time to release The Hound! The Hound, or Sandor Clegane, is the fire scarred brother of the Mountain in the book and tv-series Game of Thrones. He is played by Rory McCann and is still alive in the tv-series! (But he almost died that one time). How do we see The Hound as a D&D character? And will we ever see a Clegane-Bowl? Click here for The Hounds Character Sheet!

Originally both Jessica and Dean were low on this episode, but after a re-watch they both looked past some of the flaws which have creeped into this season. The internet is found of pointing out things like travel times, and plenty of information is out there on how long it takes ice to freeze, and how fast ravens fly, but it all comes down to one thing: how well are they telling the story? On the one hand you have some great dialogue and character moments between our "Suicide Squad" that has traveled north of the wall. On the other hand you have what appears to to be a more forgiving world in which named characters escape situations that would have killed them in season three. You also have the Arya and Sansa stuff flailing somewhere between inscrutable and down-right ludicrous, and some inexplicable behavior from Jon Snow... commander of men. All in all there was plenty to like, and this mostly comes by way of performance and character. Emilia Clarke shows some vulnerability, hesitation, and hopefulness. Richard Dormer's presence is a stage-setter for all things Lord of Light. Kit Harrington uttering "Uncle Benjen" was heart-wrenching. Kristofer Hivju brings not just comedic timing, but some believable wisdom to Tormund, and the always consistent Rory McCann knocks "The Hound" out of the park with his "I don't care" attitude and bevy of crass insults. Although not the series' best episode, but we are hopeful that the finale will bounce back. Support LSG Media by becoming a member.
