Today's Headlines: The Iran war's bill just got a lot bigger — the Pentagon is asking Congress for $200 billion, on top of the $12 billion already spent, while Trump insists he's "not putting troops anywhere" in a statement that inspired exactly zero confidence. Israel struck the South Pars Gas Field — the largest natural gas field in the world, shared by Iran and Qatar — damaging Qatari energy infrastructure, hitting an American F-35, and triggering retaliatory Iranian strikes across the region. Trump posted that the U.S. "knew nothing" about the attack, Israel immediately said that wasn't true, then Trump said he'd actually warned them not to do it — so he did know — and then threatened to blow up the entire gas field himself if Iran touches Qatar. Oil and gas prices climbed further, the stock market dropped, and seven allies — the UK, Japan, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Canada, and one more — announced they'd help reopen the Strait of Hormuz, which Trump accepted graciously by screaming in all caps that he doesn't need anyone's help. Also, Trump told Japan's prime minister "who knows better about surprise than Japan, why didn't you tell me about Pearl Harbor" — an actual thing he said out loud. Elsewhere in global chaos: Hungary's Viktor Orban blocked a $100 billion EU loan to Ukraine, potentially threatening the country's ability to keep its government running. Canada announced it's building its own sovereign space program to reduce dependence on Starlink. Two Iranian citizens were charged in the UK with spying on Jewish institutions on behalf of Iranian intelligence. And in one of the most cold-blooded moves yet, the U.S. State Department is reportedly considering withholding HIV medication from 1.3 million people in Zambia as leverage to extract a minerals deal — because apparently that's a negotiating tactic now. Markwayne Mullin's DHS nomination cleared committee 8-7, with Rand Paul voting no and John Fetterman voting yes, because nothing means anything anymore. Full Senate vote is next, outcome predictable. Tim and Mary take on another news cycle, once again we see the shadows of the longest hatred: antisemitism. It is not going to improve but rather those with a demonic agenda will continue to take things to a very dark place, inviting judgment. As we saw with Covid, humans are deeply affected by suggestion, as long as it is accompanied by significant fear and threats. It is no different than antisemitism in a strange way – if people are told that the Jews are despicable and not to go near them, they will program their activities and lives to live that out. As another example, in some circles, a person can’t even name Trump without becoming deranged or acting violently and irrationally.  We are in that era of strong delusion and deception. We talk about Canada and their inability to reign that hatred in. We also talk about Islam which is never going to reign their hatred in. The world hates the light because their deeds are evil, how much brighter should we shine.

Quebec is known as one of the most historically and culturally rich provinces in Canada. Its culture is one filled to the brim with folklore and legends, to the point where there are books dedicated entirely to traditional French-Canadian fairy tales and lore. These stories intertwine the influences of both early French settlers and the Native American tribes that populated the region.Most of the legends were kept alive by Raconteurs, the French-Canadian equivalent of bards or minstrels who would use oral storytelling traditions to both keep their people's history and culture alive and pass on warnings about the consequences of moral failings such as greed or selfishness. These tales spread throughout the land as the Raconteurs travelled the region, spreading stories that would often feature religious undertones, such as deals with the devil and the dire consequences that ensued, to keep morality, superstition, and obedience at the forefront of the burgeoning population's minds. So I feel like it's kind of for reality tv, cuz I'm like okay whatever.(7:37) - Does it ever feel limiting to be perceived as the emotionally mature one? Do you feel like you've always gotta be that? I do. I think last season probably because when it did come out I had just given birth. And so when I think sometimes seeing the criticism online being like, “oh she used to be my favorite but like, she's actually just a mean girl”, I'm like okay. Certain things like that… you try filming 12-hour days while this pregnant.(8:44) - In season four we see - there's always so many dynamics of course - but you wrote a book and it was very important to you. And some people showed up, and some people didn't. Do you see more context and perspective now that you've watched back Whitney missing your book launch? Oh yea. And I can't remember how that was edited.. I wasn't upset at all. I don't know if it was perceived that way, but I wasn't upset at all in that moment, because Whitney called me crying the night before…(10:08) - Do you feel like it healed some wounds for you? I think for sure. I think - yea writing it over time, it was definitely difficult. Because when I was writing it we were filming too… sharing this story to help others is why I wrote this to begin with.(11:11) - I was in an abusive relationship, and then I went from that abusive relationship to another one where I got pregnant, and then my son's father passed away when I was pregnant. And so going through the grief but also recovering from an abusive relationship… (40:08) - There's a lot of coming of age stories, like I'm talking about making out with my boyfriend for the first time and what's going on with my body and things that aren't typically talked about.
