European Green Transition PLC (AIM:EGT) CFO Jack Kelly spoke with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the renewal of a five-year operations and maintenance contract covering 94 wind turbines with Drax Group, and what the agreement means for the company's wind services business and wider growth strategy. Kelly described the renewal as "great news," highlighting the importance of extending the relationship with a long-term customer for a further five years, providing revenue and financial visibility across a large proportion of the company's turbines through to 2031. The contract covers a technically varied fleet of 94 turbines, including Endurance, WTN and Vestas machines, which Kelly said showcases the engineering capabilities across the company's wind services platform, spanning Earthmill in Great Britain and Wind Energy Partners and Service It on the island of Ireland. He also discussed the business's geographical reach, with service teams operating across the South West, Cornwall, Wales, Yorkshire, the Midlands, Scotland and the island of Ireland — a footprint Kelly said puts the company in a strong competitive position with large institutional customers and asset owners. On the wider growth strategy, Kelly said the contract fits with European Green Transition's focus on critical industries, infrastructure and renewable assets, and its ambition to reach a £50 million revenue target. He also highlighted an opportunity targeting sub-one-megawatt wind turbines and wind farms coming off legacy manufacturer service warranties, calling it "a huge market opportunity across the UK and Ireland." American Top ten singles from this album included, "Feels Like The First Time", "Cold as Ice" and "Long, Long Way from Home". Other production work included "The Enid – In the Region of the Summer Stars", "The Curves", and "Nutz" as well as singles based on The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy with Douglas Adams and Richard O'Brien. In 1987, he settled in Jerusalem to immerse himself in the study of Torah. Amy Hunt, 24, was born and grew up in Newark, Nottinghamshire. In the classroom, on the sports field, playing cello or tap dancing, she excelled at whatever she did.She wasn't always a quick runner though. Her teacher, Phil Shepherd, recalls that when she was nine or ten 'she had incredibly long legs and her body hadn't grown into it.'But it didn't take long. Aged 12, she joined Grantham Athletic Club, and at first she did middle distance running and triathlon. but after doing a rapid 200m her coaches suggested that she entered some championships.At the age of 20, she was selected to represent Great Britain at the Under 20 European Championships in Mannheim, Germany. She won in 22.42 seconds, which was the fastest time ever by someone under 18. But she was keen to prove that it's possible to be an 'academic badass and track goddess'. She attended Cambridge and obtained a BA in English. But sprinting called and she moved to Italy to work with coach, Marco Airale. Silver medals at the Olympics in Paris, and the World Championships in Tokyo followed by she became the first person in the history of the European Championships to win four gold medals in Birmingham this summer. On Ron's Amazing Stories this week, we're taking a trip through history — although perhaps not the kind you remember from school.
