In this episode of The Russell Brunson Show, I'm sharing Taylor Welch's unforgettable Funnel Hacking Live presentation… a powerful deep dive into personal growth, belief systems, and what it really takes to unlock power and authority in your life. Taylor doesn't just talk about success... he breaks down how to reprogram your identity, collapse time, and start operating from a completely different level of mindset and action. We talk about parenting, business, God, and the decision that led Taylor to give away his $78M company, all while giving you the exact belief and behavior shifts that helped him build (and rebuild) extraordinary businesses and a meaningful life. This isn't your typical marketing advice… it's the kind of internal work that unlocks everything else. Key Highlights: Why most funnels don't convert (and why selling is the real problem) The difference between force and power in business The moment Taylor realized his identity was capping his income The “belief → emotion → action” framework that runs your life How to stop repeating the same mistakes… and learn the real lesson Why reframing regret might be the fastest path to momentum How to jump time and unlock results in months, not years If you've ever felt stuck… like you're circling the same mountain… this episode will challenge the way you think about business, identity, and growth, and show you how to finally get unstuck and move forward with clarity. https://sellingonline.com/podcast https://clickfunnels.com/podcast https://30days.com Special thanks to our sponsors: NordVPN: EXCLUSIVE NordVPN Deal https://nordvpn.com/secrets Try it risk-free now with a 30-day money-back guarantee! Shoot us a Text.Today, we break down the Hindenburg Research report that allegedly exposes Carvana's shady business practices. Plus, we cover Tesla's first annual drop in deliveries and talk about the return of cursive logos.Show Notes with links:Hindenburg Research, known for exposing automotive startups like Nikola and Lordstown Motors, has published a scathing report on used-car retailer Carvana, alleging questionable accounting practices and underwriting concerns.Carvana allegedly sold $800M in loans to a "suspected related party" and used "accounting manipulation" to inflate profits. Carvana allegedly sold vehicles to DriveTime, a company owned by Ernie Garcia II (father of Carvana's CEO), at inflated prices to avoid recording markdowns, thereby boosting its reported revenue.A former director reportedly claimed Carvana approved 100% of loan applicants, suggesting riskier lending practices to generate higher loan volumes, and by extending loan terms through a DriveTime affiliate, Carvana may have avoided reporting higher delinquency rates, potentially hiding the true state of its loan portfolio.Carvana shares dropped 1.9% following the report, closing at $199.56.The company called the report "intentionally misleading and inaccurate," asserting a focus on long-term growth.Tesla's Q4 production and delivery numbers are in, marking a challenging end to 2024 for the EV giant, with its first annual drop in deliveries amidst intensifying competition and political distractions for CEO Elon Musk.Tesla delivered 1.78M vehicles in 2024, falling short of the 1.81M it delivered in 2023.Q4 2024 deliveries hit 495,570, falling short of analysts' expectations of over 500,000.Tesla shares dropped 7% following the report, despite a 63% rally in 2024, showing mixed investor sentiment.Tesla faced declining sales in Europe and slower growth in China while rivals like BYD and Hyundai gained market share.High-priced Cybertrucks are "piling up on used car lots," reflecting a lack of affordable EV options in 2024.“Tesla still does many things better than any other EV maker, but the challenge remains the nuts-and-bolts job of being a car company,” said Patrick George, editor in chief of InsideEVs.Lord & Taylor is turning back the clock, reviving its cursive logo as it prepares to relaunch as an online discount luxury retailer under new ownership, Regal Brands Global. The classic script logo, first introduced in 1945, replaces the modern sans-serif wordmark, which the new leadership called "the biggest betrayal of the brand."Founded in 1826, Lord & Taylor is embracing its legacy, branding itself as “the signature of American style” for its digital comeback. Many brands have moved away from cursive logos due to younger consumers' unfamiliarity with the style, but Lord & Taylor sees its heritage as a unique strength.“I understand going after young customers, but this is not a startup,” said Regal Brands Global chief strategy officer SinaHosts: Paul J Daly and Kyle MountsierGet the Daily Push Back email at https://www.asotu.com/ JOIN the conversation on LinkedIn at: https://www.linkedin.com/company/asotu/ Read our most recent email at: https://www.asotu.com/media/push-back-email

Interview with Arturo Préstamo Elizondo, Executive Chairman & CEO of Santacruz Silver Mining Ltd.Our previous interview: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/posts/santacruz-silver-mining-tsxvscz-stabilising-silver-production-to-bolster-balance-sheet-3925Recording date: 27th November 2024Santacruz Silver Mining (TSXV:SCZ) is hitting its stride after a transformational year that has significantly bolstered the company's financial position and growth prospects. The Bolivia and Mexico-focused silver producer delivered strong Q3 2024 results with $78M in revenue and $16M in EBITDA. More importantly, Santacruz has emerge from a multi-year restructuring effort with a much cleaner balance sheet and ample liquidity to fund organic growth. The key development was a successful renegotiation of Santacruz's agreement with senior partner Glencore. By amending the terms, Santacruz eliminated $8M in annual royalty payments and pushed out the maturity on $40M of debt to late 2025. This, combined with improved operations, has enabled Santacruz to generate meaningful free cash flow, with $20M in cash as of Q3.Management is taking a two-pronged approach to driving shareholder returns: reducing costs at existing mines while advancing low-capex, high-impact growth projects. A focus on optimizing ore blending, modernizing equipment and leveraging synergies between mines is starting to bear fruit, with all-in sustaining costs trending lower. CEO Arturo Préstamo Elizondo sees further opportunities to boost efficiency, stating "We're doing works and having initiatives across all our mines to achieve better production and lower costs."On the growth front, the flagship organic project is restarting the past-producing Soracaya mine in Bolivia. Originally built to produce 4Moz silver annually, Soracaya is essentially turnkey and can be brought online within a year for minimal capital. Santacruz is also building a new mill at San Lucas to double output to 4Moz silver equivalent by bringing processing in-house. Together these two projects provide a clear path to 25%+ production growth over the next 2-3 years.Underpinning the Santacruz investment case is a bullish outlook for silver prices. While up substantially since 2020, Prestamo sees $20/oz as "a solid floor" based on strong industrial demand growth. "More and more uses are coming for silver, not only solar panels but for environmental and pharmaceutical use. Unlike gold, silver is used up, so you always need new ounces," he explained. Higher silver prices would amplify the impact of Santacruz's operational improvements and growth initiatives. In summary, Santacruz offers investors a compelling turnaround story with multiple ways to win. With its balance sheet derisked, costs falling and production poised to climb, the company is well positioned to deliver outsized returns going forward. If management and the entire operations can execute, Santacruz has the potential to be a standout performer in a rising silver price environment.View Santacruz Mining's company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/santacruz-silver-miningSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com

As a result, his business has seen exponential growth. And the best part is, he isn't the one that has to handle everything himself. For context, in 2021, his company brought in $60M of new assets, 80% of which came from him. As you can imagine, the business consumed his life and resulted in massive burn out. Compare that to one year later… After making some major changes, the firm did $78M of new assets, and less than 50% came from him. The big difference? He learned how to let go of his ego, empower his team, and get the heck out of their way! 3 of the biggest insights from Clayton Alexander … How Clayton used the Enneagram to rebuild the company culture, empower his team, and replace himself as the primary source of new business – leading to $78M of new assets in 2022. Despite there being an official date for the midterm elections, many states offer their citizens the ability to vote beforehand. This is done through either mail-in ballots or in-person early voting. And it seems like many people across the entire country are taking advantage of this opportunity, and indeed voting early. In fact, according to data from the U.S. Election Project, as of Monday morning, 7.5 million people have already voted early across the United States—which is a massive increase compared to the last midterm election that was held four years ago. Specifically, looking at their online report, 7.5 million people have voted early, with 1.6 million doing it in person, and another 5.8 million having voted early through a mail-in ballot. Furthermore, 17 of the states actually release data regarding the party affiliation of the individuals who voted early. ⭕️ Sign up for our NEWSLETTER and stay in touch

Are Apple and the NFL close to a deal that will bring Sunday Ticket to AppleTV+? We give our thoughts on a possible deal between the two companies. We also start putting the last nails into TV and cinema operator's coffins. All of this plus your emails and news await you on this week's show! Apple in Early Talks With NFL on Sunday Ticket Games Apple has expressed interest in the streaming rights for a package of National Football League games the NFL is now auctioning, said people familiar with the situation, a possible sign the tech giant is looking to beef up the audience for its Apple TV+ streaming service. Full article (membership required) DirecTV's Sunday Ticket deal is due to expire after 2022 DirecTV allegedly pays $1.5 billion a year for Sunday Ticket rights and the NFL is expected to charge even more for the next buyer. Further, DirecTV is said to be losing money on its time holding the rights – up to $2.5 billion. It's unclear how Apple would approach NFL Sunday Ticket if it did buy the rights, but it's possible it would be an add-on to the regular monthly Apple TV+ cost. Notably, others interested in NFL's Sunday Ticket include Disney and possibly Amazon alongside other more traditional media companies. An argument against this that DirecTV will attempt to renew their contract at all costs  otherwise they will lose millions of business customers (such as sports bars).  But what if the NFL opened up licensing to all, similar to MLB, NHL, and NBA.  For example you can get MLB extra innings on your cable system or on your AppleTV.  What if the NFL said you can have the package for a split of the revenue or some small nominal amount plus a split of the revenue. Exposing the package to more than just the DirecTV subscribers can bring in way more subscribers and more money for all. Do you think a sports bar would rewire everything just because it can now use a RokuTV or an AppleTV? DirecTV will make less revenue but it will also cost it much less so it may actually make a profit.  Android TV shines as pay-TV market declines Android TV and Huawei's HarmonyOS are set to dominate the coming years across both the shrinking footprint of operator set tops, and the ballooning number of smart TVs and connected TV (CTV) devices, according to forecasts from Rethink TV. Pay-TV households will decline from an estimated 921 million in 2020 to 680 million in 2026, impacting the annual shipments of Operator Set Tops, which falls from 242.6 million to 184.8 million, propped up by the upgrade cycle for new Set Top Box operating systems. Full article here... Harbinger of Death Barry Diller Declares Movies “Over” “The movie business is over,” Barry Diller, former chairman and CEO of Paramount Pictures and 20th Century Fox, told NPR in a recent interview. “The movie business as before is finished and will never come back.” Full article here… He sees streaming as an irreversible alteration of traditional movie success ranging from promotional efforts and accessibility. Marketing a theatrical film is a costly endeavor, particularly when compared to the recommendation algorithms that do much of the heavy lifting for streaming. “There used to be a whole run-up,” Diller said of the pre-release marketing push theatrical films require. Mass marketing provides movies with a sense of event prestige and helps to sustain audience interest in new movies over an extended period of time. “That's finished,” “These streaming services have been making something that they call ‘movies,' ” he said. “They ain't movies. They are some weird algorithmic process that has created things that last 100 minutes or so.” Our take (which has been our take for a few years) Movie theaters will be reduced to high end experiences. No more megaplexs that banish five week old releases to small screens in the back of the theater. Now those movies will go to the studios streaming service within a few weeks.  Some Real world info to back up our claims According to the site “The Numbers” The US Box office numbers for Black widow put it in 98th place. This 98th place does not include the impact of rising ticket prices. A lot of the movies that beat “Black Widow” debuted many years ago, when ticket prices were a lot lower, and it took a lot more tickets to get there, including “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone,” which opened in November 2001 and grossed $90 million. At the time, the average ticket price was $5.66, compared to $9.16 in 2019. Box office info from the weekend: BlackWidow hits over $215M worldwide in opening weekend

Podcast: Unsolicited Response PodcastEpisode: Tenable's OT Strategy with Marty EdwardsPub date: 2020-04-07Marty Edwards has worked for an ICS asset owner, INL, DHS, ISA and late last year he made the move to a security product vendor, Tenable. This happened at the same time that Tenable acquired Indegy for $78M, indicating they are serious about OT security space. I talk with Marty a bit about his past career and then focus on why he moved to Tenable and what Tenable's strategy is for the OT space. Marty’s impressions on what DHS / CISA / ICS-CERT has done since he left. Why Marty even considered working for a cybersecurity version? Did the Tenable acquisition of Indegy play a part in his decision? Is Tenable.OT rebranded Indegy product or something else? What are the plans to integrate the Indegy product into the Tenable.sc (Security Center) system? Is this simply a push of OT to SC? Or will it be bi-directional communication? What is Tenable’s commitment to the ICS security space? Given that Tenable and many others, McAfee, Symantec, Mandiant, …, have invested only to pull back in a bad quarter. Is Tenable an OT asset management solution? If so, what parts of asset management and how does it interact with the missing parts? How do the Tenable products prioritize vulnerabilities discovered in Tenable.OT or Tenable.SC? Also (http://www.recode.net/2016/6/13/11921064/microsoft-ceo-memo-linkedin-ceo-memo): "Massively scaling the reach and engagement of LinkedIn by using the network to power the social and identity layers of Microsoft's ecosystem of over one billion customers. Think about things like LinkedIn's graph interwoven throughout Outlook, Calendar, Active Directory, Office, Windows, Skype, Dynamics, Cortana, Bing and more." 433 million professionals in LinkedIn (from MSFT internal memo (http://www.recode.net/2016/6/13/11921064/microsoft-ceo-memo-linkedin-ceo-memo)). ...but it's probably all the same people, tho (https://twitter.com/MYDemaray/status/742386678363361280). "Along with the new growth in our Office 365 commercial and Dynamics businesses this deal is key to our bold ambition to reinvent productivity and business processes." (MSFT CEO, from MSFT internal memo (http://www.recode.net/2016/6/13/11921064/microsoft-ceo-memo-linkedin-ceo-memo)) Ads and dumb-AI context: "This combination will make it possible for new experiences such as a LinkedIn newsfeed that serves up articles based on the project you are working on and Office suggesting an expert to connect with via LinkedIn to help with a task you're trying to complete. As these experiences get more intelligent and delightful, the LinkedIn and Office 365 engagement will grow. And in turn, new opportunities will be created for monetization through individual and organization subscriptions and targeted advertising." (MSFT CEO, from MSFT internal memo (http://www.recode.net/2016/6/13/11921064/microsoft-ceo-memo-linkedin-ceo-memo)) LinkedIn growth since Dec, 2008: "Our team has grown from 338 people to over 10,000, our membership from 32M to over 433M and our revenue from $78M to over $3 billion." (MSFT internal memo (http://www.recode.net/2016/6/13/11921064/microsoft-ceo-memo-linkedin-ceo-memo)). Others from memo: Lydia training inline in MSFT apps; paid content in MSFT apps (a la Spiceworks); HR and recruiting. Deal PR deck (https://ncmedia.azureedge.net/ncmedia/2016/06/msft_announce_160613.pdf) - pretty good. I can see how the social graph and all the "semantic web sit" in LinkedIn, crossed with MSFT assets works well. One take on ads, doesn't like the Office angle, cause privacy, but oh wait: Google Apps and GMail (http://marketingland.com/microsofts-linkedin-acqusition-represents-huge-opportunity-bing-ads-180572) It's the 1 dataset MS can keep out of Facebook and Google's hands. https://trackchanges.postlight.com/9-things-microsoft-could-do-with-linkedin-2aec55c2bc72#.iv7cofd13 "Microsoft could improve LinkedIn": Microsoft designs for people who have to do boring things with computers in order to make money. It's the 9–5 software vendor. Previous big acquisitions (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_mergers_and_acquisitions_by_Microsoft#Acquisitions): Nokia for $7.2bn (http://www.theverge.com/2013/9/2/4688530/microsoft-buys-nokias-devices-and-services-unit-unites-windows-phone), Skype for $8.5bn, Xamarin for $400m. The price tag values LinkedIn at 8.2x trailing revenue." "The company [Microsoft] must find new ways to differentiate. Integrations with LinkedIn offer potential functionality that will be challenging to duplicate. When the two companies are joined, there will be multiple ways that LinkedIn's member network, and the data from that, will go into improving Microsoft's Office and Dynamics apps, besides the other benefits from running a combined company." "LinkedIn's tools for recruiters account for 58% of the $860m in revenue it generated in the first quarter of the year [so, $3.440bn run rate]. When combined with educational material from its Lynda.com acquisition, HCM tools make up 65% of sales. Tools for marketers and premium subscriptions (including its offering for sales teams) each make up less than 20% of the business, and are the slowest growing parts of the business." "Microsoft is the world's largest software developer, with about $100bn in sales and a $400bn market cap." I-Bankers rejoice (http://blogs.barrons.com/techtraderdaily/2016/06/13/microsoft-for-linkedin-deal-shows-accelerating-pace-of-ma-says-ubs/)! What enterprise wants from Google's cloud Google, in short, needs to learn to be boring (http://readwrite.com/2016/06/07/enterprise-wants-googles-cloud-pl1-2/) ...according to Gartner analyst Lydia Leong (https://twitter.com/cloudpundit/status/713825582719582209): "Azure almost always loses tech evals to AWS hands-down, but guess what? They still win deals. Business isn't tech-only." What a weird thread that is! "Greene is also tapping her VMware Rolodex, talking with big enterprise rivals like SAP SE, Microsoft and Oracle, to get more of their products into the Google cloud. That's must-have for some large companies, which need prepackaged software from these providers to run their businesses. No Oracle or SAP products are available on Google's cloud today. Microsoft and Oracle declined to comment, while SAP confirmed early talks."
