Step into the radiant energy of Leo season with us as we explore the archetype of the lion – where dignity, strength, and heart-centered living converge. Just as the physical lion doesn't need to announce its power, true Leo energy invites us to claim our worth without hustling for external validation.Leo season asks us to shake off the watery depths of Cancer and stand boldly in our light. This isn't about ego or excess – it's about recognizing the divine spark within, what we might call "soul sovereignty." Throughout this episode, we explore how to embody the balanced aspects of Leo energy: self-respect without arrogance, creative courage without seeking approval, and leadership that comes from authentic self-expression.What would change if you saw yourself through eyes of nobility? How might you carry yourself differently if you truly valued your gifts? We delve into practical ways to embody Leo's energy during this solar season, including journaling prompts to help you connect with your inner royalty. The invitation is clear: step into the spotlight of your own life with confidence, claiming your right to shine.Whether you identify with Leo energy or not, this episode offers wisdom for anyone seeking to align with their authentic power. As the passages shared from "Small Pearls, Big Wisdom" remind us, "You have nothing to prove to anyone... However, you do have a responsibility to yourself to be yourself." Join us in exploring this "noble and significant" task of naming yourself, claiming yourself, and finding the courage to be uniquely, magnificently you.--Your Heart Magic is a space where heart wisdom, spirituality, and psychology meet. We believe in Happy,  in Balance and Growth,  of being Mindful and Grateful, Compassionate and Understanding. Yowza Haha My Happy Friends! Happy Self-Confidence is about accepting yourself as you are, About owning the moment, and trusting that you can succeed, Even if that moment is you apologizing, you do it like a star, You don't second-guess or shy away, you just confidently proceed. You face the music, take responsibility, and do what needs to be done, You don't wish for a different past, you just work towards a better day, You don't cower, complain, act cocky or deflect blame onto anyone, You just try to improve yourself to be a little bit better in every way. A tall order, to be sure, but I've seen people who simply refuse to even try, They prefer to deny reality, to avoid growth, to have a temper tantrum, to hide, Wishing things were different while doing the same things and wondering why-- Why they doubt themselves and have no trust or individual faith deep inside. The first step is getting to know your limits, learning what frightens you, Maybe being wrong makes you so mad that it keeps you from striving, Which means those are the things you have to practice and work through, If you ever hope to go from struggling and hating to learning and thriving. In today's episode I talk about daily, small habits you can implement to come home to yourself on a daily basis. By implementing these daily practices you will learn to listen to that still small voice that is uniquely your, get in touch with your intuition, and learn to listen to your body when it's subconciously trying to tell you something. I have been sitting with a lot of emotions, like many of you, I am sure. The state of the world right now is heavy, overwhelming and a bit surreal. Before we dive into today's topic, I wanted to share some thoughts on that, because pretending everything is “normal” just doesn't feel right. Times are tough right now and this tells me that the work I do in the world is important. The work I do, the tools and my coaching, combine to help you not get pulled under by the weight of everything happening in the USA and the world right now.  Viktor Frankl was an Austrian neurologist, psychologist, philosopher and Holocaust survivor. I can't help but think of his words right now, as what we are experiencing feels similar. Viktor taught us that no one can take away the way we think and our attitude about our life. When I think of the unimaginable horror that he lived through, and millions of others, his words give me hope and a reminder to make sure we tend to your mind and heart.  And THIS is the reason I will continue doing my work, even though times feel very heavy. And then, once we have grounded in that reality, I want to take us somewhere deeper, into the heart of self confidence. Not the kind that is all surface level pep talk, but the real kind. The kind that grows quietly from trusting yourself and having your own back, no matter what is happening outside of you. I also want to introduce you to, or remind you, of one of my favorite coaching tools. I am going to walk you through my thought model, a tool to help you see how your thoughts create your life. I know it is much more complicated than that, but, let's start there. I can and will help you learn to manage your mind and heart, Wildflower. This is what I do. I would love to work with you and help you through these times.  Reach out via my website or email me amy@amyloganlife.com

The world feels chaotic and overwhelming, leaving many of us constantly seeking external validation and guidance. We scroll through social media looking for answers, ask mentors what to do next, and let influencers dictate our choices—gradually disconnecting from the most important voice of all: our own.In this thoughtful exploration of self-trust, we examine how life transitions naturally shake our identity, creating the perfect opportunity to rediscover who we truly are. Whether you're navigating motherhood, changing careers, or simply feeling lost in the noise of modern life, the path back to yourself begins with small, intentional moments of reconnection. Our addiction to screens has left us perpetually distracted, missing precious moments with loved ones and ourselves. We've forgotten how to sit with our thoughts, how to be bored, how to trust our intuition. Yet these seemingly mundane capabilities are the foundation of confidence and clarity. You don't need hours of meditation or dramatic life changes to begin rebuilding your relationship with yourself. Simple practices like implementing "one screen at a time" or ensuring "sunlight before blue light" can gradually strengthen your self-trust muscles. The key is consistency, grace, and recognizing that breaking years of conditioning takes time. This episode offers a gentle reminder that in a world profiting from your self-doubt, choosing to trust yourself is a radical act. Your intuition has been speaking all along—it's time to start listening.UNLEASH YOUR CONFIDENCE with Confidently You. Thank you for listening to Self(ish) Confidence! ***Just a disclaimer: there are a few mentions of people being transphobic and using transphobic comments. Nothing too intense, just explaining a point while these terms are used. It's no secret that some people view height as masculinity. Meaning tall women have often been seen as or called masculine. I'm sure we all know that lowkey. It happens to the best of us. And I've talked about it quite often on the pod. But what if some people take this a step further? What if they believe that you are or call you a man or transgender? Yes, there are tall women out there who were assigned female at birth who still choose to identify as a woman, and people still straight up ask them if they're a man or trans, and why are we asking strangers about their sexuality/identity?????But people don't even have to do all of that? It can be something as simple as the side-eye in a woman's public restroom or calling you ‘sir'. So, in today's episode, we're discussing why people often misgender tall women and determining if people are actually doing this on purpose. The conflict between our primitive brain and our prefrontal cortex is as old as our brain itself. Primitive brain wants to avoid pain, pursue immediate pleasure, and conserve energy, while our prefrontal cortex wants to plan for long-term goals and growth to improve the quality of our life. This conflict will often trigger internal negotiation between the two parts of our brain. When we can learn to increase our awareness around this negotiation and apply some tools to our thinking, we can find it easier to shut down the negotiation, keep the commitments we make to ourselves, and grow in our self-respect and self-trust. Have you ever asked yourself: "If I could go back, what advice would I give my younger self?" "How do I teach my kids to face their fears when I still struggle with my own?" "Is true strength about bottling things up, or asking for help?" If these questions resonate, get ready for an honest, funny, and deeply touching exchange that reminds us how universal the struggles of growing up—and parenting—really are. Today, Larry Hagner and his son Ethan Hagner tackle the ultimate hypothetical: what would you say to your younger self? Their conversation unpacks not just advice for growing up, but crucial lessons for fathers navigating the complexities of guiding their children. Ethan Hagner candidly admits to being an anxious and introverted kid. Looking back, he shares how powerfully stepping out of his comfort zone—whether wrestling with social fears, struggling through disliked activities, or simply talking to a childhood crush—shaped the confident young man he's become. Larry, reflecting as a proud dad, shares the immense power of letting your kids see you embrace challenges too, and the vital importance of showing your family how to ask for help when things get tough. Become the best husband and leader you can: www.thedadedge.com/mastermind In this deeply touching conversation, we dig into: The Growth Zone: Ethan's journey from anxiety and introversion to confidence, forged by repeatedly stepping out of his comfort zone. Parental Modeling of Discomfort: Why it's crucial for dads not just to tell their kids to be brave, but to show them how they embrace their own challenges. Vulnerability as Strength: The transformative message that emotional openness isn't weakness, but a critical part of living and growing into your full potential. The Power of Asking for Help: Why leaning on your support network and giving yourself (and others) permission to be human is essential for navigating tough times. Navigating Universal Struggles: Honest reflections on the challenges of growing up and the ongoing journey of self-discovery, from both a father's and son's perspective. Whether you're a parent guiding your children, or someone still figuring it all out, this episode delivers real talk, practical takeaways, and a reminder that every chapter—no matter how daunting—is worth diving into, together. Here's what research and observation highlight about discomfort and growth: Studies show that individuals who regularly engage in activities outside their comfort zone report a 20% increase in self-efficacy and resilience. Children whose parents model vulnerability and the act of asking for help demonstrate 30% higher emotional intelligence and stronger coping skills. A strong social support network is correlated with a 45% reduction in perceived stress levels during challenging life transitions. www.thedadedge.com/alliance www.1stphorm.com/dadedge www.thedadedge.com/mastermind
