It's throwing every last bit of energy at a pane of glass it will never break through. The door is open 10 feet away. Price Pritchett built a whole philosophy around that image. He calls it selective persistence. The problem isn't your effort. It's your direction. And most people never stop long enough to find out which one is failing them. A goal that scares you is actually the tool. When there's no way your current approach gets you there, you're forced to innovate. Comfortable goals just buy you more of the same. He also names what stops people cold: we weigh the losses heavier than the potential gains. We catastrophize, we stall, we quit romancing the dream. His answer? Play the hand you've got. Even bad cards win when you play them right. Together they unpack the role of environment, reinvention, personal truth, and why longevity comes from staying aligned rather than staying attached to a single business model. Send me a message, how did you enjoy the show? This episode is a conversation with Diana Almazova, founder of Stana, a clothing brand created for active women who want to feel strong, confident, and supported in every aspect of their lives.Diana shares her journey from discovering sport to recently completing her first 70.3 triathlon, reflecting on the discipline, resilience, and self-belief required to take on one of endurance sport's biggest challenges. We discuss what first drew her into an active lifestyle, whether she could ever have imagined crossing the finish line of a 70.3 when she was younger, and the inspiration behind signing up for the race. Diana opens up about the moments of self-doubt she experienced throughout training, the toughest aspects of preparing for the event, and how achieving such a significant goal reshaped her understanding of what she is capable of.Beyond the race course, we explore the story behind Stana and the original vision that led Diana to launch a brand dedicated to modern, active women. She talks about the gap she identified in the market, how her own experiences as an athlete influence the products she is building, and the realities of creating a business from the ground up.Diana also shares insights into balancing the demands of entrepreneurship with training, the importance of surrounding yourself with a supportive community, and the mentors and role models who have helped shape her path. At the heart of our conversation is a discussion about the impact she hopes Stana will have on the women who engage with the brand: encouraging them to pursue ambitious goals, trust in their potential, and redefine what they believe is possible. Finally, we look ahead to what's next. Have you ever looked back at a past version of yourself and thought, "What was I thinking?"In this episode, I'm sharing some of the most cringeworthy, embarrassing and downright questionable decisions I've made over the years. From staying in relationships too long, to shrinking myself for approval, to staying in environments that slowly chipped away at my confidence. But this isn't an episode about regret. It's about understanding that every decision you made was made by a version of you who was doing the best she could with the awareness, confidence and self-worth she had at the time. If you've been beating yourself up for your past, this episode will help you swap judgment for compassion and realise that those "dumb decisions" may have actually been the lessons that shaped who you are today- - - - -Follow me & connect!instagram.com/jaydedelpupcoachingJoin the Gal's in the Facebook grouphttps://www.facebook.com/groups/634737754099311

Black people have been the target forever, yet some Blacks are still allowing themselves to be tokens who get used up and tossed aside! There are Blacks who have fallen for colorism and the racial social construct, and they refuse to open their eyes to the truth! Black people have never tried to be superior, but they are a superpower group of people, not of their own doing but designated and designed by God. Blacks were chosen to take the burden because God knew we could handle it! Blacks have always been there since the beginning of time at all four corners of the earth! All people came from Blackness and it's been hidden from the world, but there is enough evidence out there to see the truth if people got out of their own way to reveal the truth! Black people everything has been on your backs but if you just stand up, it changes everything! Lose the slave mentality that has left an imprint, we as Blacks were supposed to learn from it and become better and stronger, not stay there with the same mindsets! Time for a change! Black men and women must understand that they are the target for prison, jail, and the grave! Stop falling for the racial social construct that has been designed for you to fail! You are unique, own it, and walk it! I understand most Black people are not this way (tokens, jealous, envious, etc.), but those who are put a stain on the rest! Not just when things are going well, but when everything feels chaotic and you are still expected to show up, lead, and move forward. This conversation is about self-belief that does not depend on perfect conditions. It is about owning your power without waiting for permission, offering yourself grace in difficult seasons, and continuing to show up even when motivation fades and clarity is missing. We explore how gentleness builds resilience, how confidence grows through consistency, and why staying aligned with who you are matters more than external validation. If you are navigating change, pressure, or uncertainty, this episode will remind you that you are not behind, you are not broken, and you are not alone. Confidence, clarity, and speaking when it matters.Confident communication isn't about being the loudest in the room. For Susie Wolff, it's about displaying assurance before you even open your mouth.Wolff is a former professional race car driver, managing director of F1 Academy, and author of Driven. Throughout her career in one of the world's most male-dominated industries, she's learned that confidence starts within. “If you want others to believe in you, you need to at least have confidence in your own abilities,” she says. By letting her capabilities speak for themselves, Wolff felt she didn't have to. “I was never the loudest voice in the room. But I made sure when I did speak that I really had something to say.”In this special episode of Think Fast, Talk Smart, co-hosted by Matt Abrahams and Tiggy Valen, Wolff shares how inner drive creates outer clarity. From delivering hard truths with empathy to achieving buy-in for a bold vision, Wolff offers lessons on communicating with confidence, even in the face of stiff competition.Episode Reference Links:Susie WolffSusie's Book: DrivenTiggy ValenPaddock ProjectEp.235 Refine, Reframe, Repeat: Make Your Communication a Slam Dunk  Connect:Premium Signup >>>> Think Fast Talk Smart PremiumEmail Questions & Feedback >>> hello@fastersmarter.ioEpisode Transcripts >>> Think Fast Talk Smart WebsiteNewsletter Signup + English Language Learning >>> FasterSmarter.ioThink Fast Talk Smart >>> LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTubeMatt Abrahams >>> LinkedInChapters:(00:00) - Introduction (03:06) - Early Motorsport Passion (04:01) - Finding Your Voice (05:33) - Building Confidence (06:28) - Becoming a Leader (08:48) - Cross-Cultural Communication (09:57) - Building F1 Academy (14:20) - Giving Tough Feedback (17:32) - Embracing Discomfort (20:01) - The Final Three Questions (26:18) - Conclusion  ********Thank you to our sponsors.  These partnerships support the ongoing production of the podcast, allowing us to bring it to you at no cost. This episode is brought to you by Babbel. For so many of the good ones (the tender-hearted ones, the deeply sensitive ones, the ones who actually care) self-belief can feel almost… I dunno… sketchy and suspicious. Like, if I believe in myself too much, am I becoming arrogant? If I put myself out there, am I being self-important? If I talk about my work, am I turning into one of those cringy people who pontificates loudly on their cell phone outside the coffee shop, so everyone hears about their latest business venture? So here's what I've been thinking about lately: Being good is not enough. Having a beautiful heart is not enough. Having a meaningful mission is not enough. Having gifts, wisdom, depth, devotion, and love is not enough. Because there are plenty of people in the world using the weapon of self-belief for things that do not have the same heart, integrity, or healing inside of them. So what happens when the good ones refuse to pick it up? In this first installment of Field Notes from the Zero, I'm sharing a short inspirational message on why self-belief is not ego or arrogance. And it's definitely not becoming one of the people who hurt you. It is a sacred and necessary weapon that many of clients resist for decades before meeting me and engaging in this work. And if you are here to bring more light, healing, truth, beauty, service, or love into the world… you are going to need it (as much as you wish you didn’t). In today's episode of Next Level University, hosts Kevin Palmieri and Alan Lazaros unpack a hidden risk of personal growth: when self-belief becomes so strong that it starts to lose empathy. Kevin speaks from the memory of doubt, low belief, and rock bottom, while Alan brings the perspective of coaching, leadership, and high internal certainty. This episode challenges the way people talk about responsibility, confidence, anxiety, and skill-building when they forget what struggle feels like. It is not about lowering the standard. It is about leading with belief, precision, and enough self-awareness to meet people where they are without losing sight of where they could go. #146: On today's episode, Han sits down with Ksenia Zaytseva, founder of Bur Bur Hair Care, to talk about her story. From moving to the U.S. without speaking English, to building from nothing, and the mindset it takes to keep going when there's no proof it's going to work. This is a conversation about perseverance, self belief, and committing to a path without a plan B. The girls get into:• moving to the U.S. without speaking English & starting over• why “no plan B” changes the way you show up• living “comfortably uncomfortable” vs actually taking risks• delusional self belief & trusting yourself before there's proof• ignoring what feels logical to follow what you know is meant for you• why thinking from point A to Z keeps you stuck• navigating hardship, sacrifice & starting from nothing• being told something is impossible—and doing it anyway• money as energy & removing a scarcity mindset• how your beliefs shape the reality you experience• breaking limits & refusing to keep yourself small• the mindset behind building Bur Bur Hair Care• why scalp care is the most overlooked part of beautyKsenia shares how she pushed past what felt logical to follow a deeper knowing that she was meant for more, why success came from continuing to show up without validation, and how her relationship with money as energy shaped the way she built her life and business. This episode is for anyone who feels like they're starting from nothing, questioning their path, or trying to trust themselves before the results show up.
