Lyn also raises the alarm on predetory male perpetrators who are exploiting self identity/ trans to gain accessibility to women/ girls private spaces and sports. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Nigerian Governor denies Christian genocide Just days after Nigerian Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule publicly denied the existence of religious persecution or Christian genocide in Nigeria, about 50 Fulani Muslim gunmen launched a deadly midnight assault on a Christian community in the state.   Three individuals were murdered and others were critically wounded in the massacre.   In protest, hundreds of youths from the community displayed the dead bodies of the victims and blocked traffic until the military showed up to disperse them.  They were protesting the persistent invasions and kidnappings, in hopes of some government intervention. According to Open Doors, Nigeria is the seventh most dangerous country worldwide for Christians. Sudanese civil war claims 70,000 civilian lives The ongoing civil war in Sudan, Africa is bringing untold losses to human life. Approximately, 70,000 civilians were killed in the last year, and the same number the year before. A paramilitary group, known as the “Rapid Support Forces,” is killing civilians with darker skin in the ethnic purge — and then burying the bodies in mass graves, reports Al Jazeera. America invested twice as much in Africa as China did The BBC reports that the U.S. has overtaken China as Africa's biggest investor for the first time since 2012. America invested $7.8 billion in 2023, compared to China's $4 billion. America absent from U.N. Climate Change Conference The 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference kicked off yesterday in Belém, Brazil. Notably, the U.S. federal delegation is absent, reports The Hill.com. 7 Democrats, 1 Independent join GOP to end gov't shutdown The U.S. Democrat Party has experienced a seismic split. In an historic development on the national scene, seven Democrat senators and one Independent senator agreed to a compromise with the Republicans in the U.S. Senate to bring the government shutdown to an end, report The Epoch Times. The defectors were Dick Durbin (D-IL), Catherine Masto (D-NV), Jacky Rosen (D-NV), John Fetterman (D-PA), Tim Kaine (D-VA), Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), Maggie Hassan (D-NH), and Angus King (I-ME). The big bone of contention among the Democrats in the shutdown concerned there hope of extending the Obamacare funding of individual and family health insurance.  Health insurers are corrupt and contribute heavily to Democrats Breitbart and American Resolve estimate that health insurers are taking in $1 trillion per year in federal subsidies, thanks to Obamacare. Plus, their stocks are up 1,000% since 2009. These companies contributed five times more funds to the Kamala Harris presidential campaign than they contributed to Donald Trump's campaign. And “Blue Shield of California donated $500,000 and UnitedHealth donated $75,000 to Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom's ballot measure effort, Prop. 50” which could give Democrat and insurance companies five additional seats in Congress. Even more egregious, federal auditors estimate that Medicare Advantage will overbill medical services somewhere in the neighborhood of $1 trillion this decade. Isaiah 1:23 warns of princes who “are rebellious, and companions of thieves. Everyone loves bribes and follows after rewards. They do not defend the fatherless, nor does the cause of the widow come before them.” Tucker Carlson in hot water for Nick Fuentes interview But then, the “conservative right” has their own dumpster fire going after Tucker Carlson interviewed Nick Fuentes. (It was a 2-hour-long interview). Ben Shapiro, the conservative founder of The Daily Wire, referred to Carlson as the “most virulent super-spreader of vile ideas in America.”  Mark Levin layered on another epithet for Carlson, calling the conservative talk show host a “Nazi promoter. " And Republican Senator Ted Cruz of Texas called the Fuentes interview “cowardly and complicit." Supremes unlikely to affirm Trump's tariffs According to the SCOTUS BLOG, the U.S. Supreme Court appears doubtful as to the constitutionality of the Trump tariffs.   Both Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Neil Gorsuch appeared skeptical in the oral arguments which took place last Wednesday.  Supreme Court will not reverse homosexual marriage The U.S. Supreme Court will not reverse Obergefell.   The high court issued their decision Monday to let the 2015 decision stand — codifying the legitimization of faux marriage for those living in unnatural relations, men with men, and women with women — here in the United States. The justices rejected an appeal from former Kentucky County Clerk Kim Davis — who had refused to issue marriage licenses to homosexual couples — on the basis of her religious beliefs. A few weeks ago, Justice Amy Barrett admitted her reluctance to oppose the homosexual campaign for same-sex faux marriage because of what she called "very concrete reliance interests,” reports the New York Times. These apparently did not include God's interests. In a speech Justice Samuel Alito gave a few months ago, he called the Obergefell decision a “precedent of the court that is entitled to the respect afforded by the doctrine of stare decisis.”   That's a legal term meaning the policy of following principles laid down in previous judicial decisions. Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel was quite disappointed.  He said, “The majority of Supreme Court Justices know Obergefell is wrong, and this case should have been granted review and reversed that unconstitutional opinion. We are committed to overturning Obergefell. Like the abortion issue in Roe v. Wade, the Obergefell opinion has no basis in the U.S. Constitution.” The Prophet Micah issued this lament in Chapter 7:2-4. “The faithful man has perished from the Earth, and there is no one upright among men. They all lie in wait for blood; The best of them is like a brier; The most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge; The day of your watchman and your punishment comes; Now shall be their perplexity.” Household debt shot up by 30% Total U.S. household debt has registered a 30% increase since 2020 — now at $18.5 trillion. And, the U.S. dollar has weakened against major currencies this year by about 10%. That's the worst performance since the Nixon presidency.   Meanwhile, gold has increased about 60% in value this year to date. Average American wedding costs $33,000 And finally, in other economic news, The Knot reveals that the average wedding now costs $33,000. And couples who invite over 140 guests will need to pay $40,000. The price tag is location dependent.  New York weddings run $48,000 while Wyoming weddings average $17,000. To compare, the cost of the average starter home in America this year, by RedFin's metric, is $260,000 with a down payment of $16,900. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Trump adds Nigeria as Country of Particular Concern The President of the United States announced Friday that Nigeria will be added to the State Department's list of Countries of Particular Concern in regards to Christian persecution, reports ABC News. A "Country of Particular Concern" is a designation given by the U.S. government to a country that has engaged in or tolerated "systematic, ongoing, and egregious violations of religious freedom.” This designation, made by the President or Secretary of State under the International Religious Freedom Act, indicates severe religious freedom violations like torture, prolonged detention for religious reasons, or religiously inspired murder. A Country of Particular Concern designation can lead to diplomatic pressure or economic sanctions. Trump threatens Nigerian Islamic terrorists with swift justice President Trump added this passionate statement to his Truth Social on Sunday.  He wrote, “If the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the U.S.A. will immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, ‘guns-a-blazing,' to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities.  “I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action. If we attack, it will be fast, vicious, and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack our CHERISHED Christians! WARNING: THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT BETTER MOVE FAST!” In response, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said on X, "The killing of innocent Christians in Nigeria, and anywhere, must end immediately. The Department of War is preparing for action. Either the Nigerian government protects Christians, or we will kill the Islamic terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities.” Last month, Republican Senator Ted Cruz of Texas commented on X that "Officials in Nigeria are ignoring and even facilitating the mass murder of Christians by Islamist jihadists.” Mainstream media outlets sidestep Nigerian genocide In recent news reports, the Associated Press, the Washington Post, the New York Times, and other mainstream media sources continue ignoring, minimizing, or outright rejecting the world's most egregious genocide at present -- the mass killing of Christians in Nigeria, Africa. At the same time, Genocide Watch has issued a “Genocide Emergency” for Nigeria —citing the mass slayings of Christians.   The organization considers Nigeria to have entered what they call Stage 9: Extermination and Stage 10: Denial — with this particular genocide.  Over the last 15 years, a report from the International Society for Religious Liberties and the Rule of Law counts 189,000 Nigerians slaughtered in cold blood by radical Muslims, of which 125,000 plus were Christians.   In addition, 19,100 churches were destroyed, and more than 1,100 Christian communities sacked. Nigerian Bishop upset that some deny there's a Christian genocide Bishop David Abioye of the Nigerian Conqueror Global Assembly spoke recently of the genocide, correcting what he called “the distortion of truth.” ABIOYE: “There's a lot of distortion going on. People claiming that there is no genocide of Christians in the nation. You see people buried [by the] hundreds, and you say there is no genocide. What a wicked set of people. I agree there are people killed in other place for other reasons.  “But this one is very clear, and gradually it's eating down to the South, Southwest, Southeast. Many so-called leaders, for their personal interest, are claiming it's not true, selling out their faith, if they have it at all.” Romans 13 calls the ruler or president “God's minister to you for good,” noting “he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.”  Texas Supreme Court allows judges not to perform homosexual weddings Is Obergefell on ice?   That's the 2015 Supreme Court ruling which purportedly legalized same-sex mirage in this country.  The Texas Supreme Court has ruled that judges who refuse to perform homosexual faux marriage ceremonies will no longer face disciplinary action for their decisions, reports The Christian Post. This comes right as the US Supreme Court will be discussing the same issue, scheduled for this Friday. Kim Davis, the former Kentucky county clerk, has appealed her case, where she was convicted for refusing to issue marriage licenses to homosexual couples after the Obergefell decision came down in 2015. Reformed pastor arrested for soliciting prostitutes A Presbyterian Church in America pastor from Tulsa, Oklahoma has been arrested on charges of soliciting prostitutes, reports ChurchLeaders.com. Jeremy Fair, senior pastor of Christ Presbyterian Church, was one of five men implicated in a sting operation. The church has placed the pastor on indefinite leave, according to a statement issued by the session. U.S. government shutdown about to become longest in history The current American government shutdown is about to round its fifth week, or 35th day.  If the shutdown continues through tomorrow, this will be the longest in U.S. history — exceeding the record set during the first Trump administration in 2019. Because of the ongoing financial crisis, President Donald Trump is urging the Senate Republicans to scrap the 60-vote filibuster threshold in favor of the simple-majority passage of legislation. However, on Monday, Senate Majority Leader John Thune said there's not enough support among Republican senators to eliminate the filibuster, reports Politico.com.  However, Senator Thune did express optimism about the Senate's resolution of the shutdown this week, reports CBS News. Trump admin will partially fund November food stamps On Monday, the Trump administration agreed to move billions of emergency dollars to partially pay for food aid this month in response to a federal judge's order, though some families may not receive benefits for weeks, according to Politico.com. Officials will use $4.65 billion from the USDA's contingency fund to support roughly half of food stamp participants' “current allotments” as the shutdown drags on, according to a new legal filing. Help victims of Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica, Cuba, and Haiti Late last week, Category-5 Hurricane Melissa clobbered Jamaica, Cuba, and Haiti, leveling whole towns, and killing 67 people, 32 of whom were in Jamaica, reports NBC News. (This podcast was previously recorded and published on December 19, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   If we confess in our hearts that Jesus is Lord, then Jesus, The Word, rules over us and we obey the scriptures and see the Word as Lord.   Romans 10:9-11  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on HIM (The Word) shall not be ashamed.   Jesus said many would come saying He is the Christ and they would deceive many.   These are those who confess with their mouth but do not believe the Word in their hearts.  They believe something other than the scripture of the New Testament Bible and therefore they do something other than the instruction given by scripture.   Matthew 24:4-5  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.   They say Jesus is Lord and they say they are Christians, but they do not believe all the scriptures, such as:   * The man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.  Matthew 5:32   * If a woman leaves her husband let her remain "unmarried" or be reconciled with her husband.  I Corinthians 7:10-11   * Homosexuals and lesbians have been turned over by God to do "vile affections."  Romans 1:26-27   Some will believe some scripture but not all of these scriptures because of their personal preferences.   One person might believe homosexuals are wrong but might believe it is permissible for a man to marry a divorced woman.   We who are of God are rebuilt by God to believe all the scriptures not just some scripture.   Thereby we have the Spirit of Truth in us and are led by the Spirit of Truth.   Flesh cannot understand things of God with the natural mind.  Only when the Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit, lives in us can we understand things of God.   I Corinthians 2:14   But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.   John said there were already many antichrist in the church in his day.  (I John 2:18)   Paul said to the elders at Ephesus that he knew there were men among them who were just waiting for him to depart so they could bring "perverse" things into the church.  (Acts 20:30)   After Jesus was taken into heaven, antichrist could set up various denominations and teach what he wanted to teach in the churches, things opposite to the doctrines of Christ in the Bible.   II Thessalonians 2:4  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.The falling away from scripture was sitting there among those elders in the church at Ephesus as the apostle Paul warned, recorded for us in Acts 20.   And the falling away from the doctrines of the scriptures has been taking place in church groups for 2000 years before the eyes of those who can see.   And today the churches have grown closer and closer to this world through the changing of doctrines from the instruction of the New Testament Bible in order to draw men to themselves just as Paul said in Acts 20.   28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which HE hath purchased with His own blood.   29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.   30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.   Thus setting up their own denominations, dividing the church of Jesus Christ.   But the falling away began from the time Jesus was resurrected and the true doctrine was given to the men of God which became the New Testament for us where all scripture is inspired by God.  (II Timothy 3:16)

(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus U.S. Christian missionary pilot kidnapped in Niger at gunpoint Prayers are now going up to Heaven around the world for American missionary pilot Kevin Rideout after he was reportedly kidnapped from his home in the highly secure Château 1 neighborhood of Niamey, the capital of Niger in West Africa, reports The Christian Post. Rideout, a 48-year-old married father, works with Serving In Mission.  Radio France Internationale reported last Wednesday that Rideout was kidnapped by three men at gunpoint near the grand Bravia Hotel, in the city center, just a few hundred meters from the presidential palace. A U.S. State Department spokesman told CBS News, "It is a top priority for the Trump administration to look after the safety of every American, and we are seeing efforts from across the U.S. government to support the recovery and safe return of this U.S. citizen.” The U.S. Embassy in Niamey also issued a security alert on Wednesday, warning Americans that they face a "heightened risk of kidnapping" throughout the country, which has been in political turmoil since a coup d'etat on July 26, 2023. There has been no known demand from any kidnappers nor any official response from the Nigerien government. Security officials said the kidnapped American's phone was tracked less than an hour after the abduction late Tuesday night to a location about 56 miles north of Niamey — in an area "considered a sanctuary for groups affiliated with the Islamic State in the Greater Sahara" between the Nigerian capital and the Malian border.  Please pray Psalm 121:7 for missionary pilot Kevin Rideout. “The Lord will keep you from all harm. Appearing on ABC, House Speaker Mike Johnson, a Republican from Louisiana, explained what the Democrats in the U.S. Senate are trying to do instead of voting for the clean Continuing Resolution to re-open the government. JOHNSON: “What it does is it unwinds the changes that Republicans put into the Big, Beautiful Bill, the big signature legislation that we passed and signed into law on July 4 that has been very successful in shoring up Medicaid for the people who are actually eligible to receive it. “What we did in the bill, and the CBO just verified this three weeks ago, the Congressional Budget Office, the nonpartisan arbiters of everything up here, they said that those provisions have helped to reduce premiums. “Why? Because we got ineligible recipients off of Medicaid, illegal aliens and able bodied young men who are riding the wagon, who are not eligible to be there. Medicaid is intended for specific populations of U.S. citizens -- that is young, pregnant women who are down on their luck, the disabled and the elderly. “Those resources are being drained from those folks, and so we fixed that. We reduced fraud, waste, and abuse in the program. Chuck Schumer's counter proposal on the [Continuing Resolution] would reverse that. That is a simple fact.” Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson polling higher than Kamala for president Former Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris, who lost in a landslide against President Donald Trump last November, chatted with BBC interviewer Laura Kuenssberg about her book 107 Days. Kamala said she might possibly run for president in 2028 despite the fact that she is a certifiable long shot. KUENSSBERG: “In terms then, of what is next for you, you write very powerfully about the differences that many women have made to your life, the experience of growing up with your extraordinary mother, or the stories of your baby nieces, Amara and Leela. When are they going to see a woman in charge in the White House?" HARRIS: “In their lifetime, for sure.” KUENSSBERG: “Could it be you?" HARRIS: "Possibly." Is that underestimating you?” HARRIS: “I think there are all kinds of polls that will tell you a variety of things. I've never listened to polls. If I listened to polls, I would have not run for my first office or my second office. And I certainly wouldn't be sitting here in this interview.” Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, the WWE wrestler turned actor, has starred in 30 films which have earned $6.2 billion. He also has 391 million followers on Instagram. According to Polymarket, an online betting website where users can place "yes" or "no" bets on the likelihood of world events, “The Rock” has a 5.6% chance of becoming the Democratic presidential nominee compared to Kamala Harris who has a 5% chance, reports Newsweek.   California Governor Gavin Newsom and Congresswoman Alexendria Ocasio-Cortez are the top two at 32% and 11% respectively. Dallas church paints steps homosexual pride colors And finally, after Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott threatened to withhold funding from cities and counties with pro-homosexual, pro-transgender rainbow crosswalks, one God-hating Texas church has responded by defiantly painting its own steps with the sodomite colors, reports the San Antonio Express-News. Lesbian Pastor Rachel Allison, of Oak Lawn United Methodist Church in Dallas, explained why she disagreed with Abbott. She said, "Silence in the face of harm always sides with the oppressor. Painting our steps in the colors of the rainbow is a visible witness to the gospel we preach: that every person is created in the image of God and worthy of safety, dignity and belonging." They certainly were not affirming the original Biblical meaning of the rainbow. In Genesis 9:13-15, God said, “I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the Earth. It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the Earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud; and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.” Not surprisingly, Pastor Rachel Allison is faux married to a woman named Cheryl. Governor Abbott's threat includes San Antonio's sexual perversion district on North Main Avenue and East Evergreen Street. Now, more than six years after its installation, local perverts are urging San Antonio city officials to fight to keep the public art installations despite Abbott's directive. The Lone Star State Governor said, “Texans expect their taxpayer dollars to be used wisely, not advance political agendas on Texas roadways. To keep Texans moving safely and free from distraction, we must maintain a safe and consistent transportation network across Texas.” The directive comes after Trump-appointed U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy issued a statement urging state governors to join a national roadway safety initiative to nix artwork and political messaging from the streets. In a post to X, Duffy wrote, "Taxpayers expect their dollars to fund safe streets, not rainbow crosswalks." (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Chinese college forces students to identify as atheists According to a September 30th report from ChinaAid, a mobile app used by a Chinese vocational school, requires students to declare they're atheists.   The app, used by Tianjin Vocational College of Mechanics and Electricity in China, instructs students to check the box for “no religious belief” in their personal information sections, clearly violating their right to religious freedom.  The report stated that “point 4 under ‘personal information notes' requires filling in ‘no religious belief,' forcing all enrolled students to declare themselves as ‘atheists' or ‘non-believers.'”  The Chinese Communist Party is officially atheist and has a long history of disrespecting and persecuting religious communities, including Christians.  Psalm 14:1 says, “The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.'” The Gospel Coalition stated in 2022 that “[President] Xi despises Christianity … [and] fears that religion, especially Christianity, is an attempt by foreign influences to subvert his nation.”   U.S. Special Operations helicopters near Venezuela The U.S. military's elite Special Operations aviation unit appears to have flown in Caribbean waters less than 90 miles from the coast of Venezuela in recent days, reports the Washington Post. According to an unnamed U.S. official, the helicopters were engaged in training exercises that could serve as preparation for expanded conflict against alleged drug traffickers, including potential missions inside Venezuela. Already, the U.S. military has struck at least five boats carrying illegal narcotics in international waters, killing at least 27 drug traffickers. The nation's leadership called the new rules “common sense” to help regulate a “very disruptive” press. News outlets were nearly unanimous in rejecting new rules imposed by War Secretary Pete Hegseth that would leave journalists vulnerable to expulsion if they sought to report on information — classified or otherwise — that had not been approved by Hegseth for release. Homosexual pastor says abortion “helps the life of children” According to a viral video clip, a self-described “queer” Protestant pastor said babies should be killed in the womb so they do not grow up in an “unsupportive” situation, reports LifeSiteNews.com. Kurt Kaufman is a recently “ordained” minister who currently works as a “ministerial associate” at First Baptist Church of Denver. Protestia, which often criticizes liberal Christianity, posted a video of an interview Kaufman gave where he explains why he supports the intentional killing of innocent preborn babies. Listen. KAUFMAN: “Being in favor of reproductive rights [i.e., the destruction of the unborn], first and foremost, protects the life of the mother, and protects the life of the person that is already living, and is the person that is able to bring more life into this world should they choose,” “Furthermore, it protects the life of children. There are so many children that currently exist in this world that were forced to be born because of legislation, because of men that have decided for women. And so as a result, many children have grown up into a unsupportive, unhealthy and right-challenging household that hasn't been a life that any child should live. “And so being in favor of reproductive choice helps the life of children everywhere because they don't have to grow up in a world that dislikes them because they simply exist.” This is why, according to the so-called “minister” it's a good thing to support the killing of babies. But in Proverbs 6:16-19, there are seven things listed that God hates, including “the shedding of innocent blood.” LifeSiteNews asked Kaufman for further information on when the interview occurred, what he would say to the counterargument that society does not kill babies after they are born just because of their circumstances, and at what point he believes preborn babies are human beings who deserve protection from abortion. In a reply email this past Tuesday, Kaufman wrote, “I have no comment to provide.” Not surprisingly, Kaufman's outrageous remarks drew criticism from commentators on X. Scott Dunford wrote, “By his logic every kid born into a bad home situation should be eliminated. This is an evil and godless way of thinking.” And an account called Woke Preacher Clips wrote, “This is psychotic behavior.” Bad Bunny's Super Bowl perverse half time show vs. Turning Point's wholesome patriotic alternative And finally, Super Bowl LX (60) is set for Sunday, February 8, 2026, and will broadcast on NBC with a halftime performance featuring Benito Ocasio known as “Bad Bunny,” a Puerto Rican rapper who has championed sexual perversion, sexual immorality, self-indulgence, and hostility to Immigration Customs and Enforcement. Indeed, Ocasio has said that his sexuality may be fluid. He told Gay Pride, “At the moment, I am heterosexual and I like women, but maybe in 20 years I will like a man.” In his song, Ignorantes, he features sexual perversion, and in his song, Yo Perreo Sola, Ocasio created a disturbing video where he personally dresses and cavorts around in drag. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Muslim crowd demands Indonesian church halts worship A Muslim crowd near Jakarta, Indonesia demanded a Christian congregation suspend worship on Sunday, September 21st, reports Morning Star News. In Tangerang at least 20 Muslims arrived at the Indonesian Bethel Church at 9:00 a.m., an hour before the congregation was to begin worship in a shophouse, a video recording shows. The Muslims demanded a halt to all worship until the church obtains all relevant permits. Slovakia bans surrogacy and homosexual adoption, recognize only two sexes Last Friday, the nation of Slovakia rejected European Union legislation by amending its constitution to enshrine recognition of only two sexes, ban the practice of surrogacy, and restrict adoption to heterosexual married couples, reports LifeSiteNews.com. Genesis 2:24 says, "Therefore, a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” Gunman kills two and injures eight at Mormon place of worship A gunman opened fire inside a Michigan Mormon place of worship, 60 miles northwest of Detroit, at 10:25am ET during the Sunday service, killing two people and injuring eight. He then set the building ablaze, before police shot and killed him, reports ABC News. Police Chief William Renye said hundreds of people were inside the building in Grand Blanc Township when a 40-year-old man rammed his vehicle into the front door, then exited the vehicle, and started shooting.  The gunman has been identified as Thomas Jacob Sanford, reports NBC News. The suspect is believed to have set the building on fire which caused a five-alarm blaze that caused a partial collapse of the structure. Flames and smoke could be seen for hours before the blaze was put out. Investigators wonder whether the shooting is connected with the death of the oldest-ever president of Latter-day Saints, Russell Nelson, who died at the age of 101 the day before. The next Mormon president is expected to be 93-year-old Dallin Oaks, per Mormon protocol. Christian pastor denied access to Dallas airport chapel A Christian pastor was denied access to the chapel at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport by a Muslim cleric, reports Christian talk host Todd Starnes. Tom Ascol, a prominent Southern Baptist pastor, wrote on social media that he had been in Dallas to visit the grieving family of Voddie Baucham, a renowned pastor and scholar.  Ascol said that he heard an announcement inviting passengers to visit the Meadows Chapel for a prayer service. The announcement included the phrase “all are welcome.” Ascol wrote on X, “With broken heart I went hoping maybe Scripture would at least be read. Instead, I found this & was denied access.”  The Baptist pastor posted a photograph of Muslims inside the chapel kneeling on prayer rugs. The pastor said he was physically blocked from entering the room. He explained, “They blocked my way in the inner room.  A man who had offered a loud prayer, not the Imam, said I could come in if I took my shoes off. I refused.” Church attendance rising after Kirk's murder, particularly among youth Some pastors have reported seeing an increase in church attendance following the assassination of Charlie Kirk, the conservative Christian founder of Turning Point USA, particularly among young adults, some of whom haven't attended a worship service in years, reports The Christian Post. JP De Gance, the founder and president of Communio, a ministry that helps churches evangelize better and expand their outreach capacities, believes that Kirk's message has inspired many young people to experience the Christian faith through a church community.  He said, “[There has been] a lot of anecdotal feedback from churches in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, and Douglas County, Colorado, reporting that they've seen an increase [in attendance] over the last two Sundays." Communio, which serves around 400 churches nationwide, has received reports of increased attendance from various religious denominations. Speculating on why Kirk's death, which was headline news worldwide, might have been the driving force to get young people to attend church, De Gance said that perhaps some began to take stock of their lives after hearing that someone within their age range had died a violent death. De Gance believes that more young people are coming to know who Charlie Kirk was and what he had to say about marriage, family and living for Christ, beliefs that reportedly were the reason why Tyler Robinson targeted him.  He said, “I think that causes a level of introspection. I think that causes people to ask, ‘What am I living for right now?'” Why Tim Allen forgave drunk driver who killed his father And finally, in a podcast with Michael Rowe, Tim Allen, the 72-year-old former star of the Home Improvement sitcom, shared the story of his father's death in 1964. ALLEN: “My father was killed by a drunk driver when I was 11 years old. Luckily, he was the only one killed, but he died in my mother's lap. My other two brothers were thrown around the car. A lot of kids were hurt.” Tim Allen's father had been driving home from a Colorado football game with six children in the vehicle along with his wife.  Tim was not in the car that day.  The drunk driver swerved across I-70, went through a median, and hit the car. Tim explained what his uncle told him. ALLEN: “And then I'm walking down to my house, knowing something terrible had happened. I get to the house, there's police, and my uncle was there and said, ‘Man up. You know, your mom needs you right now. So, no crying, none of that.” ROWE: “How old are you this point?” ALLEN: “Eleven. He was a great dad, love of my life. I said, ‘This doesn't make any sense. I don't like this.' And everybody's answer was, ‘He's in a better place.' The pain of it never stopped. The discomfort of it. That whole process started me on asking questions. Generally, getting no answers.” Tim Allen added, "Every single thing in my life changed. I knew it the moment he was dead, and it was not for four hours that I found out. I've hated November since then.”  On Thursday, September 24, he revealed that — after watching Charlie Kirk's widow, Erika Kirk, forgive her husband's killer on September 21st — he decided to do the same for the drunk driver who killed his father, reports People Magazine. Allen wrote on X, "When Erika Kirk spoke the words on the man who killed her husband [Charlie]: 'That man… that young man… I forgive him.' That moment deeply affected me. I have struggled for over 60 years to forgive the man who killed my Dad. I will say those words now as I type: 'I forgive the man who killed my father.'" Ephesians 4:32 commands, “Forgive one another, even as God, in Christ, forgave you.” Indeed, Erika Kirk said, “My husband, Charlie, he wanted to save young men, just like the one who took his life."   Listen to the unforgettable moment when Erika forgave her husband's assassin at the Memorial on September 21st held at State Farm Arena in Phoenix, Arizona, just 11 days after his assassination. ERIKA KIRK:  “On the cross, our Savior said, ‘Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.'  (Luke 23:34) “That man, [Tyler Robinson], I forgive him. (applause as she wept) I forgive him because it was what Christ did, and it's what Charlie would do. The answer to hate is not hate. The answer, we know from the Gospel, is love, and always love. Love for our enemies and love for those who persecute us.” Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old man now being held at the Utah County Jail without bail, has been accused of the crime. If found guilty, the prosecutor has called for the death penalty.
