What up, Beasts. Welcome back to the show! Taimi Lawler brought the fire and the heart in this conversation, y'all. From battling chronic anxiety and an undiagnosed autoimmune disease to finding deep healing through yoga, belief work, and cellular health, her story is one of fierce self-trust and refusing to settle for “just get on meds and deal with it.” Taimi took us through her journey of total life overhaul: turning constipation and panic attacks into a calling to help others stretch beyond their symptoms and into deep, sustainable healing. Her blend of mind-body practices with cellular and genetic testing helps her clients stop guessing and start living in alignment, and I couldn't stop nodding through this entire episode. What I loved most? Taimi doesn't just talk about awareness and healing, she embodies it. Whether it's dancing on the yoga mat like a soulful DJ or reading hair tissue like a forensic wellness wizard, she's all about honoring the body's signals, not silencing them. This convo reminded me how powerful it is to ask not just “What should I be doing?” but “Who am I when I'm doing it?” And the answer? Hopefully someone who's tuned in, breathing deeply, and maybe sipping a little extra magnesium. As always, I hope something lands with you today. I hope something you hear tugs at your heart strings and/or I hope you laugh.Bio: In her early 20s, she was a high-functioning perfectionist battling anxiety, panic attacks, sleepless nights, and chronic health issues while constantly striving to prove she was good enough. Rather than staying stuck in the symptoms, she committed to healing from the inside out. Today, she is an Integrative Anxiety Specialist, Certified Health Coach, and RYT500 Yoga Instructor. With a background in Speech and Language Pathology, she helps clients reduce anxiety and reclaim their energy through her 1:1 Aligned Program. Using genetic and cellular health testing alongside lifestyle and nervous system support, she creates personalized plans that help clients feel better, move more, and get shit done.Music by Prymary: Sean Entrikin (my hot husband) on guitar, Chris Quirarte on drums, Smiley Sean on keyboards, Rob Young on bass, and Jaxon Duane on vocals.Connect with Taimi!Website: https://www.astretchbeyondyoga.com/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/astretchbeyondyoga/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/search?q=%40stretchbeyondyoga%20&t=1749486144243Where can you find me?Linktree: https://linktr.ee/beautifulbeastwithinstudiosTired of battling your body? While we often like to talk about research findings that shows us statistical significance in data and solid numbers we can lean on for treatment approaches… What about the kind of data that ISN'T objectively measured? The kind that shows us what patients or other clinicians experience think, or believe. I'm talking about qualitative research! We often talk about how aphasia impacts people's ability to speak or understand language, but what about aphasia's impact on sign language? Do the hands sometimes sign “apple” instead of “orange” thanks to a semantic paraphasia? If one arm is weak or paralyzed because of a stroke, how does THAT impact someone's ability to communicate using sign language? Instead of speech-language pathology, would we make the focus sign-language pathology?  Shelby Hill SLPD CCC-SLP QOM, is here to talk all about it - and you WON'T want to miss this discussion! Shelby describes her important work and research with individuals who are deaf and have also acquired a communication disorder. These are not games or videos that were designed to be used in this way, but she has carefully scoured YouTube to find videos that help youngsters connect with their emotions and to better understand others. What's additionally interesting is that Dr. Vagin's Ph.D. is not in psychology but rather in Speech and Language Pathology. Thinking about leaving your job and going all-in on your private practice?  It's a big decision and it can be intimidating, but it could change your life. In this episode of Private Practice Success Stories, I sat down with one of my Grow Your Private Practice Students, Sherley Jackson, to talk about her decision to go full-time with her practice as well as hiring, referrals, and so much more.  Sherley L. Jackson is a Speech-Language Pathologist certified by the American Speech-Language Association and licensed by the Georgia Department of Education and Board of Speech & Language Pathology.   With 22 years of experience in the field (in Louisiana, Florida, and North Carolina), 20 of which have been in the public school system, working with PK through 5th-grade students in special education programs.  Sherley earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Audiology and Speech Pathology from Florida State University. She earned a specialist degree in Special Education from the University of West Georgia.  Her primary concentrations include early language development and articulation/phonological delays. Sherley engages in multicultural issues, IEP coaching and development, and new parent training on facilitating language development in everyday home activities. Sherley is recognized as a Hanen Certified Speech-Language Pathologist and a Master IEP Coach with Catherine Whitcher, M.Ed. In Today's Episode, We Discuss: How Sherley got started with her private practice How she was able to fill her caseload so quickly The benefits of having a community when running a practice How becoming systems-focused helped Sherley grow Tips for finding the right hire When Sherley decided to go all-in with her practice Sherley's plans for growth in the future I hope you found this episode inspiring. I love how Sherley said that if that seed is in you to start a private practice, then that's what you should be doing. If it's been planted, it's not going anywhere! You just have to take those steps to make it happen. Are you ready to leave your job and go all-in on your private practice just like Sherley did? Want support with getting more clients, setting up systems, understanding your finances, and becoming a CEO? If so, we would love to support you in the Grow Your Private Practice Program. https://www.growyourprivatepractice.com/ (Click here) for more information. It was a true honour to engage in a beautiful conversation with Nathaniel Swain about his Chapter, The Back Story of Nathaniel. Nathaniel's work as a Speech and Language Pathologist in Youth Justice, his current role as a classroom teacher, and the founder of a thriving community of Educators, Thinking Forward Educators are a few of the points discussed in our conversation. Nathaniel generously talks about the following: - his initial pull towards his research in the Youth Justice - his research and key findings - https://www.nathanielswain.com/phd-research - his initial role (Speech and Language Pathology) in education - his current roles in education - https://www.nathanielswain.com/cognitorium https://thinkforwardeducators.org/ - the importance of understanding the Science of Reading and the Science of Learning, and much more. One of the points that deeply resonated with me was "Education should be the great equaliser". An enormous thanks to Nathaniel for taking the time and spending the energy on this wonderful conversation. This vote of gratitude is also extended to everyone that listens to and/or watches this conversation on Facebook, YouTube, or Podcast. Feel free to share it with anyone that may connect.

In that time several resources become available that we wanted to include as part of the show notes and resource list. This is a great example of how quickly resources can change and how important it is for us as clinicians to shift our thinking and stay on top of newly published work and resources! The updated resources are as follows:There is now a published voice questionnaire for non-binary folx:Shefcik, G., Tsai, P. (2021). Voice-related experience of nonbinary individuals (VENI) development and validity. Journal of Voice, published online 01/28/21. DOI: :https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jvoice.2020.12.037The Trans Voice Initiative is an organization that seeks to open the gates for intersectional trans leadership in the field of Speech-Language Pathology, and ultimately drastically improve the quality of care to the transgender community. You can learn more about their work at www.transvoiceinitiative.com or on social media channels at @transvoiceinitiative.Transplaining has launched a 3 graduate credit course in partnership with Fitchburg State University on Intersectional Cultural Responsiveness in Speech and Language Pathology. It's being offered for for 3 graduate level credits and ! That's an automatic ACE award! You can find more information on transplaining.info. There is also a new site that our episode guest, AC Goldberg, Ph. D., CCC-SLP, is developing for this work, thecreditsinstitute.com. CREDIT stands for Culturally Responsive Education Diversity & Inclusion Training. Episode SummaryThe voice is like a fingerprint-a source of identity and an instrument used for not just communication, but connection. For some, this fingerprint does not align with other elements of their identity, motivating them to take on the hard work of forming new voice “habits” to reach their goals. In this episode, SLP's Barb Worth and AC Goldberg return to the podcast to share their perspective on how best to support individuals who are seeking gender aligning voice intervention. Tune in to explore tangible and compassionate evaluation and intervention strategies that are client-centered, culturally competent, and evidence-based. You'll get a refresher on the larynx and the vocal process, as well as some helpful reminders on the importance of helping clients reach their goals, not yours, or those of society at large.Learn more about AC and Barb here.Course AccommodationsThe transcript for this course is provided below. In this episode, I have a really special guest, my friend Amanda! She joins us to speak about Speech and Language Pathology. Amanda is a mother of two kids, ages six and nine. She is also a licensed speech and language pathologist living in the Burlington, Vermont area. Amanda and I first met and I got to know her because we are both writers at Vermont Mom. It's always a fun time to have someone I actually know in real life come on as a guest! Professionally, Amanda spent seven years working with children from birth right on through 12th grade as a speech and language pathologist, both in schools and in home-health before she had her second child. While she still loves and takes every opportunity to grow her knowledge in all things speech and language, she's changed career courses so that she can focus more on being a mom. She's currently beginning her fourth year working at her daughter's elementary school. which serves students in preschool through 3rd grade. There she applies her professional knowledge in her role as a substitute teacher, three or more days a week. That school is so lucky to have such an amazing substitute teacher on its roster! I can't wait to talk more with Amanda about speech and language. Tune in to find out exactly what a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) is and does! You asked, and we listened. Research tells us that as SLPs we rely heavily on standardized assessments, even though the samples are often biased. Not to mention, our complex learners are not represented in these samples. Standardized tests are not designed to measure individual changes in functional communication, so when we use them in assessments for complex learners we often aren't measuring the skills that are meaningful to our clients. So the question becomes - what can we as clinicians do to conduct and write better assessments? How can we measure meaningful skill change in our more complex learners? After a lot of feedback from all of you we decided it was time to offer something with a little more depth, where we can really dive into the practical application of quality assessment skills and measurement. After so much feedback from all of you, our SLP Masterclasses Comprehensive Assessments in speech and language pathology is finally up and running. It's being offered for 1.5 ASHA CEUs AND 1 graduate level credit through our partnership with Fitchburg State University. Passionate and highly skilled, today's guest brings to the podcast community a vast amount of information on supporting children who stutter. Her comprehensive approach is incredible and through this conversation, you will see that it should be the norm. I learned so much from her and am thrilled to share this interview with you. Trisha Thapar is a speech-language pathologist and owner of Adventures in Communication. She works with clients all over California through teletherapy and her passion is working with young children who stutter. Today you will hear how she not only works with kids to improve fluency, she educates parents and teachers, empowers the child and helps to instill a positive self-concept.  “The expectation should never be fluency. The expectation should be wanting and choosing to communicate,” Trisha explains. She demonstrates the support that can be available for those who stutter and through her passion, she is making a huge difference in the lives of her clients.   Show Notes: [2:46] - There is such a wide range of issues in Speech and Language Pathology. Trish has always been more drawn to sound production over language. She takes a moment to describe the difference. [3:44] - Trisha's passion lies in helping children who stutter. This is a fluency disorder and falls under the umbrella of speech. [4:34] - Everyone has natural pauses in their speech, including saying things like “um,” “like,” or breaks in a sentence.  [5:07] - There are different types of stuttering and different causes to it. The range is wide and varies per child. [6:11] - As a lot of young children are developing speech and language, everything is developing at the same time. During growth spurts, many children experience stuttering. [6:57] - Red flags for concerns are if the stuttering continues after several months or if the child notices that they don't speak right, physical tension in their face, and family history of stuttering. [8:09] - If there is a family history of stuttering into adulthood, the child is more likely to continue stuttering as adults as well. The earlier the intervention, the better they can manage it as they get older. [9:14] - There are a lot of areas within speech where we get the “wait and see” approach, but it's very prominent with stuttering. Trisha is strong in her belief that early intervention is crucial. [10:34] - At the end of the day, an evaluation is a great idea even if it doesn't result in a need for intervention. [11:39] - Children who stutter will experience it more frequently when they are trying to regulate emotions, trying to tell a story, or experiencing physical discomfort. [12:52] - There may be other times that children are stuttering that we don't notice as easily. Trisha highly recommends an evaluation. [14:13] - Because other people can observe that a child has a stutter, it heavily impacts their self-concept. [15:10] - Part of the evaluation that Trisha does assesses “communication attitude” and self-concept. [16:44] - Children who stutter learning virtually have been able to more easily resort to communicating through text. [17:49] - Trisha describes the things that she works on with children as tools that they can choose to use. They have the freedom to decide what strategies to use and when. [19:01] - The mantra of every session is “stuttering is not a big deal.” Trisha always works on stuttering education for the child, parents, and even their peers. It is presented as a “fun fact” about them. [20:53] - Positive self-talk is something that Trisha also works on with her clients. [22:01] - Trisha's approach is very comprehensive. [22:56] - The expectation should never be fluency. The expectation should be wanting and choosing to communicate. [24:18] - This comprehensive approach makes a tremendous difference, but it is not currently the normal scope of care across all practices. [25:52] - School Speech-Language Pathologists don't always have the opportunity to specialize because they are working with a vast variety of communication issues. [27:44] - We will notice stuttering the most between the ages of 3 to 5 due to a language growth spurt. Children are acquiring so much vocabulary during these years and are starting to piece together much longer thoughts and sentences. [28:20] - The statistic is that 30% of children who stutter during that time do not grow out of it. Some receive intervention and some do not, and a lack of intervention can lead to the inability to manage stuttering. [29:39] - The question that Trisha receives all the time is if she can help a child to completely stop stuttering. She explains how she believes it is a life-long issue but can be managed. [31:00] - No matter how long Trisha works with a client, the tools are life-long strategies that can be used to give children into adulthood the confidence to communicate. [32:20] - Trisha shares the reason why she has become so passionate about the work that she does. [34:01] - Stuttering education is not an American problem. Growing up in India, Trisha knows firsthand that this is a worldwide issue. She participated in a study that helped grow her passion for her work. [36:00] - Camp Say is an experience for children to meet other children who stutter and adults who have learned to manage theirs. [37:30] - Trisha integrates family work into her work with clients and even includes community events to help children who stutter. About Our Guest: Trisha is a speech-language pathologist and owner of Adventures in Communication, a pediatric private practice based in Long Beach, CA. She received her Master's from Chapman University and her Bachelor's from CSU Long Beach. Today's guest is a podcast first for us here at Diverse Thinking · Different Learning. Carol Karp is a pediatric clinical speech-language pathologist with a vast knowledge in how speech and language difficulties can affect a child's life. Carol and I have known each other and have worked together for many years and she does absolutely incredible and important work. Carol's work is strength-based and throughout this episode she shares stories, experiences, and most importantly, her emphasis on building a relationship to have a lasting impact on the children she works with. Show Notes: [1:59] - Carol and Karen have worked together for many years and they look back on the growth the children they have helped together have made. [2:56] - The model Carol uses is strength-based and she shares how she trained in the field of Speech and Language Pathology. [3:51] - A lot of times through testing for Speech and Language, Carol doesn't immediately see a lot of strengths, but she works together with a team to find the other strengths the child has. [4:25] - Building a relationship with the child is crucial and helping the child rid themselves of shame. [5:37] - Carol emphasizes to students that it isn't their fault if they aren't learning something, but rather hers as a teacher. She explains to them that their job is to tell her when they don't understand and she will work with them in as many ways as is needed. [6:36] - Carol shares an impactful story about working with a student whose parent experienced shame.  [8:10] - Through online learning, Carol initially thought she would struggle reaching students, but instead shares a story about a student who was a dancer. She used his strengths to build a relationship. [9:41] - Speech and Language Pathologists are language experts and that makes them stand out from other types of therapists. Carol describes the difference between speech and language. [11:09] - Oftentimes students are referred for speech issues, but Carol finds that they also have issues understanding and communicating language. [12:40] - Carol describes the things that are looked at through initial speech and language assessments. [13:04] - Carol points out the Speech and Language Pathologists are not the ones who diagnose auditory processing disorders. An audiologist is the one that makes that referral. [14:19] - Receptive language is one's understanding of language. Carol describes how she looks at this step by step with a student and where to start. [16:14] - Expressive language is how children communicate using language. Are they having difficulty finding the words they need? Carol describes the different types of difficulties this can cause. [17:50] - Language issues, especially figurative language and multiple-meaning words can impact friendships and relationships with peers and teachers. [19:12] - This can also impact self-advocacy.  [20:17] - Carol shares the story about a parent who expressed that he never thought he would have a conversation with his child until he worked with her and was taught how to communicate. [22:21] - Carol explains how creativity in reaching students at their strength and modality has been the key in student success. [24:22] - Collaborating with educational therapists is something that Carol likes to do because creating a team working together for the child is significant. [26:09] - Carol lists some of the strategies she uses with students and how each child has different needs. [27:58] - There are a lot of programs that Speech and Language Pathologists use and while Carol will use bits and pieces of some programs together, she doesn't use a specific program. She tailors her therapy for each child and their strengths and interests. [29:40] - When children are engaged and interested in the intervention, they are more willing to participate in the intervention. [30:18] - Carol explains that children who are consistently asked “why” and “how” rather than just “what,” “when,” and “where” are stronger in expressive language. [32:12] - Parents can help by asking questions that prompt students to be more detailed in their expression to further develop their language and higher level thinking skills. [34:14] - The most important thing parents can do is to be great listeners. Some parents tend to talk too much. [35:24] - Carol also shares that keeping a diary, even when the child doesn't write yet (but can draw pictures), is a great idea to help children express themselves. [36:24] - By taking cues from the child rather than trying to change them and their strengths, you will learn so much about your child and how to help them. About Our Guest: Carol W. Karp, M.S., M.Ed., CCC-SLP, is a pediatric clinical speech-language pathologist. Carol holds two Master's Degrees, one in Education and one in Communicative Disorders. She has two teaching credentials and was an elementary school teacher and training teacher for LAUSD. Head over to Xceptionaled.com for more information to see the crew live in Florida.   Teletherapy looks to be the future of speech and language pathology. What is the best way to handle the increase and demands? Michelle sat down with Kristin Martinez from PresenceLearning for a 3 part interview diving into the nuts and bolts of Teletherapy. This week on part 2, they discuss what therapy looks like and general questions about Teletherapy. Kristin Martinez is the head of Clinical Standards and Outreach at PresenceLearning.      Screen based media has risen many concerns in the realm of therapy and parenting.  The risks of increased ADHD or language deficits have always been a concern but now a study from Cincinnati Children's Hospital shows structural differences caused by screen time.    PDPM is back in the news, again.  If your patient has a modified diet, you will get more funding.  What strains does this put on a therapist in a SNF?  Could there be more pressure to put someone on a modified diet and they don't need it?   An SLP taught her dog to communicate using switches.  Matt dives into why he doesn't like the way switches or buttons are used in therapy and the crew discuss better ways to use them with a purpose.  Science continues to push bar and some days it feels like science fiction versus science facts.  A group of scientists have grown a Larynx using a persons stem cells.  Lastly, Speech and Language Pathology is listed as a top paying job where you don't have to work 40 hours, fact or fiction?      Email: speechsciencepodcast@gmail.com Voicemail: (614) 681-1798   Discord: https://discord.gg/3Tm5jrS   New Episode and Interact here: www.speechsciencepodcast.com podcast.speechsciencepodcast.com   Patreon – A Chance for Dinner at ASHA https://www.patreon.com/speechsciencepodcast   Rate and Review: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/speechscience-org-podcast/id1224862476?fbclid=IwAR3QRzd5K4J-eS2SUGBK1CyIUvoDrhu8Gr4SqskNkCDVUJyk5It3sa26k3Y&ign-mpt=uo%3D8&mt=2  ----more---- Show Links   Teletherapy https://www.presencelearning.com/   Structural Changes Caused by Screen Time https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2019/11/191104112918.htm?fbclid=IwAR34WyHM357AmDyvd2LyRsNKL-gc3FjTrpfCAo1nnkae2JSfEsrx_7qNyeo   PDPM and Diet Modification https://leader.pubs.asha.org/doi/10.1044/leader.BML.24112019.34?fbclid=IwAR0UJhUP9TqlFtUMpqa3g4XV-vJVcU6ayrqtsVGySbrp0bSPJVNdhk11t_8   Talking Dogs https://news.yahoo.com/dog-learns-to-speak-stella-christina-hunger-san-diego-speech-therapist-211834082.html   Stem Cells and Growing a Larynx https://www.mayoclinic.org/giving-to-mayo-clinic/philanthropy-in-action/features-stories/giving-them-their-voice?fbclid=IwAR02B80RUiXpwZtMxwRVabDnLBLMPC2x8JVhJRisa5aKbZLsyNmHbjXC3vE   Best Paying Jobs https://www.businessinsider.com/best-high-paying-jobs-that-let-you-work-less-than-40-hours-a-week-2019-5?utm_content=buffercf033&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=buffer-biuk&fbclid=IwAR2NGveHfew18VwxCJlbqcn2olkDLD3_FCkNA-r6W7OCXU9ArXHHB2Dyvdk#8-tax-preparers-work-an-average-of-376-hours-per-week-and-have-average-annual-earnings-of-53517-8       Intro Music: Please Listen Carefully by Jahzzar is licensed under a Attribution-ShareAlike License. Welcome to the first episode!! I am publishing this on the first of April and April is Autism month. So to kick the month off, I had a conversation with Tiffany Manha, a speech teacher, and autism mom, about how she started an Autism Family Support Group in our town about 8 years ago, which is treated like being invited to a birthday party!! You will love her story of how it happened and how it has grown to where these kids ride on floats in parades (yes, some even have extreme autism). She will give tips on how to start and run your own group, print out a copy of the show handout to take notes on, which can be found at https://lisagoodell.com/1/. Plus, she explains how their group puts on an Autism Night for their community and surrounding area! I hope you love this episode as much as I do. Please listen to the end of podcast for information on you can hear YOUR voice on the show!More information about my guest, Tiffany Manha:I was born and raised in the small town of Kerman, CA. I was a first grade teacher for two years and had a degree in Speech and Language Pathology. I went back to school to get my masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology and have been a Speech and Language Pathologist now for 16 years. I am the mother of two amazing boys. My oldest son was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 3 1/2. I feel that his diagnosis shaped me as a Speech Therapist and has helped me connect with the families that I work with. I was inspired to get families together and form an Autism group after meeting families going through similar struggles, feelings of isolation, and feelings of being left out of life. I like being the one who can now offer families hope and show them that they are not alone. If you feel inspired to start a support group in your district I encourage you to do so. It's amazing what bringing together families will do.

Your App Lady  Show Notes Series 1 Episode 18 Welcome to series 1 episode 18 of the Your App Lady Podcast! All about apps and tech that I love and use every day. Interview: Barbara Fernandes Smarty Ears: http://smartyearsapps.com Barbara Fernandes, the founder and CEO of Smarty Ears received her master degree in Speech and Language Pathology with an emphasis in bilingualism from Texas Christian University. Barbara speaks three languages (English, Spanish & Portuguese), and she has worked with children from a variety of ethnic backgrounds and native languages in several countries. In addition to her passion for working with bilingual children, Barbara’s passion for technology has led her to become an active blogger known as “GeekSLP”  and the blog of the American Speech and Language Association known as the AshaSphere. As GeekSLP, Barbara has been invited as a guest speaker in universities and international conferences, and given workshops and presentations around the world on how technology can be implemented to improve the speech and language skills. In 2004, Barbara was one of the participants of the program jointly administered by the U.S. Department of Education and the Brazilian Ministry of Education, called “Promoting the Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities in Society Through Assistive Technology: Culturally Appropriate Solutions.” Barbara has created over 60 applications that combine her knowledge of technology with her expertise in speech and language sciences. Smarty Ears is where Barbara’s passion is met. As the CEO of Smarty Ears, Barbara Fernandes has created applications which have been sold in over 50 countries to speech pathologists, special education teachers, and parents of children with special needs. In her spare time, Barbara enjoys traveling abroad, scuba diving and playing with her gadgets and three dogs. I interviewed Barbara at the Texas Speech Language and Hearing Association Annual Conference. We were in the exhibit hall so you may hear some background noise. I frequently recommend Smarty Ears apps for speech therapists. They are especially good for school therapists who have groups. Whether you are a speech therapist, interested in what goes into making apps or just curious about how people change careers, I think you will enjoy hearing from Barbara. Tech Tip My tech tip today is how to protect your computer or phone through safer internet browsing. For more information: https://www.addictivetips.com/vpn/tips-safer-internet-browsing/. When looking online, it’s important to be wary of downloading documents and software from unknown sources. Here are some tips that will help you download safely. 1)  .exe files- Be careful to only to download .exe files from trusted sources. EXE files are installers that will install a piece of software onto your device when you run them. 2)  .pdf files - Another file type to look out for is .pdf. PDFs are a legitimate and useful file type for sharing high quality text or image documents, so you’ll see them used for academic papers, business documents, and more. However, there are some security holes in the .pdf format so in general you should avoid .pdfs from untrustworthy sites. 3)  Update any antivirus or anti malware software often to make sure you have the latest updates. In part 1 of my interview with Anna Vagin, Ph.D. we talk about how she uses games and videos as part of her work with children and adolescents. I think you'll be surprised how Dr. Vagin uses short videos she finds on YouTube in her sessions. Ever thought of that as a career path - a way to help people in their lives? I think you'll find this episode very interesting. #psychology #psychotherapy #therapy
