Acts Series Message: 12 Episode: 3 of 3 Broadcast: December 18, 2025 Key Verses: Acts 6:1-7 In this episode of Walk in Truth, Pastor Michael Lantz teaches through Acts 6:1–7 in a message called Managing Ministry, showing how the early church faced growing pains with wisdom, humility, and dependence on God. As practical needs increased, the apostles modeled healthy priorities, shared leadership, and a commitment to prayer and the Word, allowing the church to grow stronger rather than divided. This teaching highlights how God uses order, servant-hearted leadership, and faithfulness to accomplish His work, both in the church and in everyday life. You'll be encouraged and equipped with biblical truth to help you navigate responsibilities, relationships, and challenges as a Christian, applying God's Word in a way that strengthens your walk with Him and your impact on others. Welcome to Walk in Truth! These are the Bible teachings of Pastor Michael Lantz. Equipping you to reach out with God's truth to all people. And how to apply that truth to today's issues, trends, and culture. Leave your question or comment contact@walkintruth.com
2nd and 3rd John are short personal letters written fairly close to each other, around 95-96 AD. The first of these letters being to a beloved friend termed "the elect (or chosen by God) lady". The aged Apostle had a deep love for this sister because of her hospitality and faithfulness. His salutations of, "Grace, mercy and peace" come from a mature faith and are the same as those of the Apostle Paul to Timothy and Titus; the so called "Pastoral letters". Verses 4-11 express John's great joy that this wonderful sister's children had chosen to walk in the Truth. John reiterates the new command, "to walk in love"; frequently spoken of in his gospel account and first letter. He also warns of the false teachers (antichrists) mentioned at length in his first letter. The woman and her faithful family - the ecclesia - must abide in the true teaching of the Father and His Beloved Son. Anyone walking contrary to that Truth, in behaviour or doctrine, was to beforbidden the fellowship of the saints. John's final greetings, of verses 12-13, express his hope of catching up with the elect lady face to face, rather than through a letter. 3rd John was written to a friend who had often been the old Apostle's host - Gaius - who was deeply "loved in the Lord". This brother was a Thessalonian, who had been converted to the Truth by the Apostle Paul. Verses 5-12 speak of the supporters of ecclesial work and others who were the opponents - the enemies of the Faith. Gaius and those like him had shown great hospitality to visitors, who have preached the Gospel. Support for such workers was commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ when he sent forth the 72 in Luke 10. Those of us who cannot personally go into the mission fields have a responsibility to support both in prayer and financially those who undertake the Great Commission i.e. the taking the Gospel to the world (Matthew 28). John says that those who do so have become fellow helpers of the Truth. The Apostle warns his readers of being a puffed up, self-important errorist, who not only dragged down the faithful, but would take an aggressive stand against all who, like the Apostle John, would take a stand for truth and moral uprightness. Don't be imitators of the evil, but only of the true (see Ephesians 5verses1-21). In his final greetings the Apostle speaks of his desire to spend time with the faithful ecclesia with Gaius in a face-to- face context, rather than via letter. Peace will be with the faithful. Thanks for joining us - we pray you found these comments helpful in your appreciation of God's words, join again tomorrow

1. Week 15 Takeaways-DKrom: The AFC truly is wide open this year -Hal: Patrick Mahomes and Micah Parsons' ACL injuries changed the trajectory for the 2025 season...and maybe the 2026 season as well2. Week 15 Honors-GOAT of the Week (DKrom: Trevor Lawrence/Bo Nix, Hal: Chargers OL)-Dunce of the Week (DKrom: Lathan Ransom, Hal: Shane Steichen)3. On Monday night in Pittsburgh, the Dolphins were officially eliminated from playoff contention due in large part to another atrocious performance by Tua Tagovailoa. Today, Miami benched Tua and rookie Quinn Ewers is slated to start the final three games. Is this the end of Tua Time in South Florida? It's possible, but very complicated from a financial perspective. Keep in mind, Tua already has $54M of his 2026 salary guaranteed and $3M of his 2027 salary fully vests on March 15. Releasing Tua Tagovailoa in 2026 would result in a gargantuan $99M dead money charge. And a post-June 1 release would result in $67.4M in dead money in 2026, and another $31.8 million in 2027. Many are going to naturally point to the Broncos swallowing $85M in dead money over these last two years by releasing Russell Wilson, but Dolphins ownership doesn't nearly have half the cash Denver's ownership does. So my question to you Hal is this: If you are the Dolphins next GM, would you be willing to release Tua Tagovailoa before March 15 and eat $99M over the next two seasons?4. Panic Meter -Packers Super Bowl chances without Micah Parsons-Baker Mayfield-Seahawks offensive struggles -Rams offense minus Davante Adams on a short week against the Seahawks on the road-Patrick Mahomes not being 100% for the entirety of 2026-Bengals fans on the chances Joe Burrow wants out of Cincinnati -Patriots run defense-Broncos defense 5. Truth or Exaggeration-If the Seahawks beat the Rams on Thursday, the 49ers will be the NFC's eventual #1 seed-The Steelers will be one-and-done in the playoffs again regardless of who they end up hosting in the Wild Card round-Should the Bucs not make the playoffs, Todd Bowles will be fired as head coach -Unless the Jets can trade up into the top 2 to take Fernando Mendoza or Dante Moore, Kyler Murray will be their starting QB in 2026 -The Bears should trade WR D.J. Moore and release TE Cole Kmet and use the cap savings from both moves to sign Trey Hendrickson in free agency-The Chiefs will re-hire Eric Bieniemy as OC and he will bring along with him the run game scheme the Bears have run this season -Raheem Morris will get a third season as Falcons head coach-If the road to Super Bowl LX in the AFC does not run through Denver, and IF the Patriots lose to the Ravens on Sunday night, the road to Super Bowl LX in the AFC will go through…Jacksonville 6. Week 16 Game Picks-Lock of the Week (DKrom: Texans over Raiders, Hal: Bills over Browns)-Upset Special (DKrom: Titans over Chiefs, Hal: Giants over Vikings)-Rams at Seahawks-Eagles at Commanders-Packers at Bears-Jets at Saints-Chargers at Cowboys-Bucs at Panthers -Bengals at Dolphins-Jaguars at Broncos-Falcons at Cardinals-Steelers at Lions-Patriots at Ravens-49ers at Colts7. Week 16 Bold Predictions-DKrom: Broncos are up 24-20 at the two minute warning and have 4th-and-1 at the 39 of the Jaguars. Broncos go for it and the Jags stuff them for no gain. Trevor Lawrence then leads the Jaguars on a 61 yard, 1:42 drive culminating in the game-winning TD pass on 3rd-and-Goal from the 8...to former Bronco Tim Patrick! -Hal: Ravens, Jaguars, and Bucs will all win their divisions despite losing in Week 16...and the Giants will still end up the #1 overall pick in the 2026 draft despite winning in Week 168. Challenge Flags-DKrom: Sam Darnold...just take care of the football and stay ahead of the sticks against the Rams!-Hal: Shane Steichen...BENCH PHILIP RIVERS!!!

Read OnlineWhen Joseph awoke, he did as the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took his wife into his home. Matthew 1:24The human person is a fascinating subject of study. Throughout the ages, countless philosophers, theologians, and social scientists have sought to understand the complexities of human nature. Within the Catholic philosophical tradition, Saint Thomas Aquinas stands out as an influential and trustworthy teacher on this topic.Aquinas teaches that while a person sleeps, the external senses are inactive. However, sense images within the imagination can still be active to varying degrees, depending on the depth of sleep, leading to the formation of dreams. Human reason is not entirely inactive during sleep, but it operates in a diminished capacity, which often results in dreams being nonsensical. Because the intellect's judgment is not fully engaged, the content of dreams is generally neither moral nor immoral. There is, however, another form of dream that transcends the normal and natural type. This is exemplified in Joseph's dream. In such divinely inspired dreams, like Joseph's, human reason is fully active—not because of the natural workings of the imagination—but because the dream is a direct result of divine intervention. In Joseph's case, his reason and intellect were fully engaged, allowing him to comprehend the divine message delivered by the angel. He was presented with a choice, and with his reason fully operative, he freely chose to say “Yes” to God's communication, thus embracing his role in the divine plan. This “Yes” to the divine plan is clearly illustrated in the passage quoted above. Upon awakening, Joseph “did as the angel of the Lord had commanded him.” His choice was made during his divinely inspired dream, and his will fully acted upon this decision when he awoke.Though divinely inspired dreams like Joseph's are uncommon, they do happen. We, however, do not need to wait for such a dream to imitate Joseph's obedience to God's will. Like Joseph, we have been given divine Truth. For us, that Truth comes primarily through Sacred Scripture and the teachings of the Church. The writings of the saints also help clarify all that God speaks to us.At times, our imaginations can lead us astray, much like in a dream. When we allow irrational thoughts to dictate our actions, we might find ourselves filled with anxiety, worry, and confusion. Imitating Joseph does not mean waiting for a divine dream; rather, it means actively engaging our minds with divine Truth as revealed through the Church and Sacred Scripture. We must then listen to that truth, dismiss irrational thoughts, and use our reason to command our will to act in obedience to God's will. Reflect, today, on whether you tend to dwell on irrational ideas or whether you turn your intellect to divine Truth as the basis for what you believe and how you act. Just as Joseph trusted in the Truth revealed to him by the angel and acted upon it, we too must place our trust in the Truth and act accordingly. My trustworthy Lord, You have revealed to us all Truth as is given to us through the Sacred Scripture and the teachings of the Church. When my imagination leads me astray into obsessive thinking and worrying, please speak to me and help me to hear Your voice. May every decision I make and action I take be in accord with Your Truth. Something is off.Women are doing everything right and still feeling disconnected from their bodies. Hormones feel unpredictable. Cycles feel confusing. Pregnancy feels harder to achieve. And the answers feel fragmented, politicized, or buried beneath noise. In this episode, Bryce sits down with nurse practitioner and fertility consultant Ilana Robbins Renfroe to explore the deeper layers of modern fertility. Not from a place of fear, but from a place of responsibility, awareness, and empowerment. We talk about the quiet pressures women carry today. The collision of modern gender roles, dating culture, delayed family planning, socially normalized sexual habits, and chronic stress. We unpack the invisible forces shaping fertility including microplastics, environmental toxins, food quality, endocrine disruptors, hormonal birth control, and the growing questions around medical policies, vaccines, trust, and informed consent. This is not a conversation about sides. It is a conversation about systems.Bodies.Environment.Truth.And the courage to ask better questions. This episode is for women who want clarity. For men who want to support them better. For couples trying to build families in a world that feels increasingly unnatural.Your body is not broken. It is responding to the world it lives in.⸻Key Quotes from the Episode“Fertility is not just about reproduction. Ever wondered if that voice in your head is God, your own thoughts, or spiritual interference? In this episode, I sit down with Rachel Groll—author, podcaster, and two-time seminary graduate to unpack a solid, biblical approach to discerning God's voice. Rachel explains why Scripture must be your primary filter and how consistent obedience actually sharpens your spiritual discernment over time. She also points to powerful female prophets like Miriam, Deborah, and Huldah as biblical evidence that hearing from God isn't mystical nonsense—it's deeply scriptural. We dive into the difference between reading and truly meditating on God's Word, plus offer practical wisdom for navigating prophetic words with discernment and peace. The Truth Being a Baltimore, Maryland Police Officer: Crime, Violence, and Survival. A Special Episode. In a media landscape dominated by headlines, hashtags, and heated debates, few stories cut through the noise with honesty. A special episode of the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast does exactly that, by telling the truth about what it really means to be a Police Officer, Cop in Baltimore, Maryland. This special episode is streaming for free on the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast website, on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, and most every major Podcast platform. In this compelling special episode, John Jay Wiley, a Retired Baltimore Police Sergeant and the host of the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast, appears as a guest on the On Being A Police Officer Podcast with host Abby Ellsworth. The conversation pulls back the curtain on crime, violence, officer-involved shootings, and the often-misreported realities of police use of force. Look for The Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast on social media like their Facebook , Instagram , LinkedIn , Medium and other social media platforms. “This episode isn't about headlines,” Wiley explains. “It's about what actually happens on the street, when the cameras aren't there and lives are on the line.” The Truth Being a Baltimore, Maryland Police Officer: Crime, Violence, and Survival. A Special Episode. Supporting articles about this and much more from Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast in platforms like Medium , Blogspot and Linkedin . Four Officer-Involved Shootings, and the Reality Behind Them During his career with the Baltimore Police Department, Wiley was involved in four officer-involved shootings, or as they were called back then shootings, a fact that often shocks listeners unfamiliar with the daily dangers faced by officers in high-crime cities. Contrary to popular narratives repeated across news, Facebook, and Instagram, Wiley reveals that in the first two incidents, he never fired his weapon. He, like most Police Officers, did not shoot back. “The idea that police are always quick to shoot is simply false,” Wiley says during the podcast. “In my first two shootings, I didn't return fire at all.” Available for free on their website and streaming on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Youtube and other podcast platforms. The final two incidents, however, were prolonged, life-and-death gun battles. The last shooting left Wiley with injuries severe enough to end his police career. “That last gunfight changed everything,” he reflects. “It didn't just end my career, it reshaped my life.” The Truth Being a Baltimore, Maryland Police Officer: Crime, Violence, and Survival. A Special Episode. Shattering Myths About Police and Use of Force A central theme of the podcast special episode is the disconnect between public perception and on-the-ground reality. Wiley and Ellsworth address the myths frequently spread about policing in American cities, especially Baltimore. The Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast episode is available for free on their website , Apple Podcasts , Spotify and most major podcast platforms. “So much of what people believe about police use of force comes from misreporting or outright misinformation,” Wiley notes. “The truth is far more complex, and far more human.” The episode offers listeners an unfiltered look at how decisions are made in seconds, under extreme stress, amid rampant crime and violence. Baltimore: A City With a Complicated History Baltimore, Maryland has long struggled with violent crime rates above the national average. In 2019, Baltimore recorded 348 homicides, second only to its 1993 peak, when the population was significantly higher. Yet the story doesn't end there. By 2024, the city recorded 201 homicides, the lowest number since 2011, evidence that progress, while uneven, is possible. City leaders have credited focused efforts on repeat violent offenders and increased community engagement. The Truth Being a Baltimore, Maryland Police Officer: Crime, Violence, and Survival. A Special Episode. The interview can be found on The Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast website, on Apple podcasts, Spotify, Youtube and on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and across most podcast platforms where listeners will find authentic law enforcement stories. “Baltimore isn't just statistics,” Wiley says. “It's people, good people, trying to survive in some very hard neighborhoods.” “It's Baltimore, Gentlemen…” A haunting quote from The Wire: “It's Baltimore, gentlemen. The gods will not save you.” For Wiley, that line resonates deeply. “There were moments when I needed God to save my life, during and especially after Policing in Baltimore” he says quietly. “And I believe He did.” A Podcast You Don't Want to Miss On Being A Police Officer is known for offering a civilian-led, inside look at law enforcement through deeply personal interviews. Drawing on over 15 years of ride-alongs, filming, and conversations with officers, Abby Ellsworth gives listeners access to stories rarely told so candidly. The Truth Being a Baltimore, Maryland Police Officer: Crime, Violence, and Survival. A Special Episode. Acts Series Message: 12 Episode: 2 of 3 Broadcast: December 17, 2025 Key Verses: Acts 6:1-7 In this episode of Walk in Truth, Pastor Michael Lantz teaches through Acts 6:1–7 in a message called Managing Ministry, showing how the early church faced growing pains with wisdom, humility, and dependence on God.
The Bible gives us a clear warning that has been all but forgotten by the world, and even most churches. He tells us what will be happening in the world when He returns, but to understand what he says you have to go back to what happened in the beginning to know what is coming. Truth really is stranger than fictions. From fallen angels, to Giants, to Demons, to AI and the Mark of the Beast System. The truth is not hidden. It's all laid out in the pages of Scripture from Genesis to Revelations. This timely lesson gives us an overview of all of it and points us where to look for a more in depth understanding.

Welcome to Day 2754 of Wisdom-Trek. Thank you for joining me. This is Guthrie Chamberlain, Your Guide to Wisdom Day 2754– A Confident Life – Believers, Overcomers, and Witnesses – 2 John 1:1-13 Putnam Church Message – 11/09/2025 Sermon Series: 1, 2, & 3 John “Balancing Love and Truth" Last week, we finished the letter of 1 John and explored how to have “A Confident Life: Absolute Assurance.” This week, we will focus on the letter of 2 John, and as we explore the fine art of “Balancing Love and Truth” from 2 John 1:1-13 in the NIV, found on page 1905 of your Pew Bibles. 1 The elder, To the lady chosen by God and to her children, whom I love in the truth—and not I only, but also all who know the truth— 2 because of the truth, which lives in us and will be with us forever: 3 Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father's Son, will be with us in truth and love. 4 It has given me great joy to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as the Father commanded us. 5 And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another. 6 And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love. 7 I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist. 8 Watch out that you do not lose what we[a] have> worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully. 9 Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them. 11 Anyone who welcomes them shares in their wicked work. 12 I have much to write to you, but I do not want to use paper and ink. Instead, I hope to visit you and talk with you face to face, so that our joy may be complete. 13 The children of your sister, who is chosen by God, send their greetings. Opening Prayer From its shallow headwaters on Lake Itasca in northern Minnesota, the Mississippi River meanders southward to the Gulf of Mexico, spawning and sustaining life along its nearly 2,400-mile journey. To many, the river is a gentle giant, an untiring benefactor of good gifts. The mighty Mississippi is a bountiful, self-replenishing storehouse of nutrients for farmland, a habitat for wildlife, and a busy highway for barges. However, if it escapes its well-defined boundaries, that gentle giant becomes an unwieldy...

In this heart-to-heart Q&A, we move through themes of self-trust, relationships, courage, + the quiet strength of asking for help.I talk about what it means to ground yourself in hard moments, how to shift from self-critique to self-compassion, and why the question “What can I do to make things easier on myself right now?” can change everything.I share honest stories from my own life: navigating relationship values, differentiating wants from needs, the tenderness of vulnerability, the discomfort of asking for support, + the deep work behind my upcoming book The Truth in You Knows. This episode is both practical and soulful — a reminder that personal evolution isn't about perfection, but about presence, clarity, and courage.TAKE THIS WITH YOU:Self-trust is built moment by moment, especially in the hard moments.Values > wants — alignment is a compatibility of consciousness, not convenience.Vulnerability is not weakness; it's an entry into real connection.Asking for help is uncomfortable… and profoundly strengthening. When things get heavy, return to the question: What would make this easier right now?⭐️YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS: Please: Subscribe + leave 5⭐️Star rating +review HEREEnjoy! xRxFIND ME ON:️INSTAGRAMSUBSTACKYOUTUBEXTHREADSFREE RESOURCES:

In this episode I talk about how a survival-focused brain hands us fast, familiar thoughts that harden into identity, and how a few seconds of awareness can change the narrator of your life.We dig into the mechanics of default thinking, why the mind prefers shortcuts, and how filtering turns first impressions into fixed labels. Then we model practical reframes across marriage, money, career, parenting, faith, and friendships, replacing sweeping labels with precise, empowering truths. From an Islamic lens, we explore nafs, spiritual intention, and the pursuit of Truth, connecting mind management with devotion, balance, and integrity. Expect clear steps you can practice today: pause, notice the first thought, question it, and select the identity you want to strengthen. Neuroplasticity does the rest, rewiring attention and behavior until your inner life, relationships, and work reflect a grounded, self-led you.If this resonates, share the episode with someone who's ready to move from autopilot to intention, subscribe for more practical mind coaching rooted in faith and science, and leave a review to help others find the show. On this episode of “Fearless,” Jason Whitlock analyzes Patrick Mahomes' career-ending injury and compares it to Tom Brady's injury in 2008. While Brady had Bill Belichick to see him through his injury, Whitlock wonders who Mahomes will have. Whitlock also unpacks his NFL Truths of the week, discussing Shedeur Sanders reportedly being given the wrong play-calling wristband and using the mix-up as an excuse; J.J. McCarthy disobeying coaching staff by dancing on his way to the end zone; Sean Payton and the Broncos proving themselves; and more. Steve Kim joins the show to discuss Mahomes' future; Shedeur Sanders and “WristbandGate”; McCarthy's insubordination; the top teams in the NFL; Diego Pavia's obnoxious reaction to being the runner-up to winning the Heisman Trophy; and whether Fernando Mendoza will be remembered as a “mid” Heisman winner because of his stats. Religious freedom, especially for Christians, is under attack across the globe, including in the West–including right here in the United States. Whether insidiously in the form of diversity, equity, and inclusion programs that block Christians from employment and advancement opportunities, or, overtly, like vandalism against churches, or, in some parts of the world, murderous violence against Christians themselves, in terms of sheer numbers–and this fact is often ignored–Christians are, by far, the most persecuted religious group in the world. While defending religious freedom is important for people of all faiths, or no faith at all, it is thus especially urgent for believers in Christ. How, then, can we work together as a church and as a society to make progress on this front? Taking a step back, what, specifically, is religious freedom and why is it a universal human right? What is the relationship between the free exercise of religion and freedom of speech? And how can we respond to the secular charge that religious freedom is merely a backdoor means for the faithful to impose their beliefs on others? A listener asks how we can grow in confidence that Catholicism is the one true religion.
