This is the third episode in the series Truth in Love: The Courage to Correct and Be Corrected. In this conversation, Jill explores one of the most important skills for healthy, godly relationships: discernment. How do you know when to speak up and when to let love quietly cover an offense? Both can be acts of love. Both can protect trust. Both can honor God. But knowing which response to choose in the moment takes wisdom.Drawing from Scripture, Jill unpacks examples of Shem and Japheth covering their father Noah's shame, and Paul confronting the Corinthian church over ongoing sin. These show two very different ways love can operate—sometimes by protecting dignity, other times by bringing sin into the light. You'll also learn a step-by-step discernment process that includes slowing down, praying, journaling, checking your heart posture, and preparing your words. Jill explains how to keep your response Spirit-led rather than reaction-driven, so you can walk in both truth and love.Discover ways to work with me at www.thehappiestlives.com or www.myhappyvault.comQuestions? Today, on Karl and Crew, we continued our weekly theme of “Tough Questions for Christians” with discussions about how Jesus sees us when no one else does. We turned to Matthew 20:29-34, where we see how Jesus healed the two blind men who were calling to Him, despite the people in the crowd telling them to be quiet. Jesus saw those two men and healed them of their infirmities. Then we had Abdu Murray join us to share his faith story, from being a Muslim to becoming a believer, and he debunked the racial myths associated with Christianity. Abdu is a speaker, author, and attorney who specializes in addressing issues where religious faith and emerging cultural trends intersect and collide. He is also the President of Embrace the Truth and has spent decades analyzing how major religious and non-religious thought traditions have addressed emerging cultural issues. Then we had Rob West join us to explain the biblical design for financial generosity in the church. Rob is the host of the nationally syndicated radio program Faith and Finance LIVE, which airs weekdays at 3 pm on 90.1 FM. He is also the host of the Faith and Finance podcast and has a FaithFi App. He is also the CEO of Kingdom Advisors, a community of financial professionals specializing in delivering biblically wise financial advice. We also opened the phone lines to ask our listeners the question, "What was the biggest question you had about following Jesus, and how was it answered?" Values are steering, not slogans—translate one value into a doable 10-minute action and feel the quiet of alignment. Journal prompt: “A value I still trust—and one 10-minute way to live it…”A Flicker (Hope) — Alignment feels quieter When action matches belief, your body often softens. Notice the quiet that follows even a tiny aligned move.To Rebuild (Healing) — Name one value Options: kindness, truth, courage, service, creativity, presence, faithfulness. Write one sentence: “Today I live [value] by [micro-act].”Take a Step (Becoming) — Do the micro-act (≤10 min) Examples:Kindness: write a 3-sentence encouragement to someone struggling.Truth: draft a clear boundary email/text.Service: share a resource, leave water/snacks for tomorrow-you.Creativity: free-write or sketch for 10 minutes.Presence: phone-free walk around the block; notice three colors.Choose-your-energy menu:Hollow (low): Hollow — Sit, place both feet on the floor, and say your value out loud once.Healing (medium): Healing — Do one 10-minute value act; drink a glass of water after.Becoming (higher): Becoming — Put a repeating 10-minute value block on your calendar (M/W/F).Food for Thought Today: Meaning grows where action repeats. Ten honest minutes, practiced regularly, changes the day more than a grand plan you never touch. You're not late—you're here.Exhale. Keep what serves you; leave the rest. I'll be here again tomorrow.
What if the parts of yourself you've tried to hide are actually the keys to your healing?
Today's Daily Vibe explores questions like:“Why do I feel like nothing's moving?”“Is this pause telling me something deeper?”“Am I chasing a fantasy… or aligning with truth?”“What breakthrough is waiting if I just stop pushing?”

1. Week 6 Takeaways-DKrom: Chiefs offense looks better than they have in ages*....and they have a major upgrade on the way in Rashee Rice -Hal: Can't wait until the trade deadline because everything's so jumbled up right now2. Week 6 Honors-GOAT of the Week (DKrom: Dave Canales, Hal: Justin Herbert)-Dunce of the Week (DKrom: Aaron Glenn, Hal: Jerry Jones)3. On a scale of 1-10 (1 being no panic at all, 10 being hide the kids), how panicked are you that the impatience and impulsive decision making of Titans ownership will ruin the promising talent that is Cam Ward? Also, each of the last four QB's selected at first overall (Trevor Lawrence, Bryce Young, Caleb Williams, and now Cam Ward) have had their head coach fired during their rookie campaign. On that same scale of 1-10, how alarming of a trend is this becoming for young QB's? 4. According to NFL insider Benjamin Allbright, a big name to watch for the Titans HC vacancy is Giants OC Mike Kafka. Keep in mind, Kafka worked together with Mike Borgonzi in Kansas City, where he was the QB's coach and had a very influential role in the development of Patrick Mahomes. And as these past three weeks have shown, he has done an excellent job with Jaxson Dart thus far. How good of a hire would Mike Kafka be? 5. Truth or Exaggeration (Division Race Edition)-There is a path for the Giants to win the NFC East-The NFC West will be a two-team race between the Rams and the Seahawks-The Falcons are a legit threat to the Bucs in the NFC South-The winner of the Packers/Lions game on Thanksgiving Day will win the NFC North-The Patriots should be the betting favorite to win the AFC East-If their offense continues the improvement it has shown the last two games, the Texans will leapfrog the Colts and Jaguars to win the AFC South -Thanks to their red hot offense, Bo Nix's sophomore struggles and the Chargers injury issues, the Chiefs will win their 10th consecutive AFC West title -The Ravens will rally back from their four-game deficit and win their third consecutive AFC North title 6. Week 7 Game Picks-Lock of the Week (DKrom: Chiefs over Raiders, Hal: Panthers over Jets)-Upset Special (DKrom: Saints over Bears, Hal: Bucs over Lions)-Steelers at Bengals-Rams at Jaguars-Dolphins at Browns-Patriots at Titans -Eagles at Vikings-Colts at Chargers-Giants at Broncos-Packers at Cardinals-Commanders at Cowboys-Falcons at 49ers-Texans at Seahawks7. Bold Predictions-DKrom: Giants sack Bo Nix 10 times, 7 of them by Abdul Carter (including a strip-sack fumble late in the fourth quarter to set up the game-winning FG)-Hal: Baker Mayfield throws 5 TD to 5 different people, and leads his team to another last-second game-winning FG8. Challenge Flags-DKrom: Chiefs and other teams favored by a TD or more...DO NOT PLAY DOWN TO YOUR COMPETITION!!!!-Hal: Cam Ward...keep your chin up and look to Drake Maye and Caleb Williams as an example of where you could be!!!!

To foster the best outcomes for our children and families, we need to shape culture, not be shaped by it. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the role families play in engaging the culture for God's Kingdom. He shares the biblical, God-given design for marriage, roles of spouses, and children. To give guidance on how to be a culture-changer, Pastor Allen also talks about King Hezekiah as a model for us. Deception is rampant in media, and it's hard to know what to trust, but we can start at our kitchen tables by encouraging our families to lean into God's Truth.
The graft and corruption is not just massive, it's a traditional way of shaping society. A look back to how major economic bills were pushed. Joe Biden as VP pushed stimulus. When Nancy was more coherent, and Obama worked his magic. The start of illegal labor imports. It was also the start of staged protests. Nothing has changed. The big money began moving in 2009. Sidelined and re-routed. Screw your heroism, save the country. The continuity of government bill directing the operating code. It's all about transparency and massive data. Where did all that money go? Primarily academic institutions. They did all kinds of evil. Protest riots are not organic. Codifying protests and dissent into useful data. The social credit score has always been there. Truth doesn't need help to be heard. Most investigative journalists don't inform, they repeat. The Contention Project was real. In 2013 Smith-Mundt protections were relaxed. Denver is a major hub. The CCC is Crowd Counting Consortium. Erica Chenowith got big checks. The architecture of visibility means it has market value. Your taxes paid the blue haired tranny rioters. Getting credit is not important. It's all a well imbeded operation, so be aware and never stop watching.
Throughout his various writing projects, J. Warner Wallace encourages his readers to study the Gospels forensically—that is, to always be on the lookout for evidence, either of deception on the one hand, or of authentic eyewitness testimony on the other. On this episode, Shane talks with him about some of the evidence he discovered when he read the Gospels for the first time and which ultimately led to his conversion to the Christian faith. They also discuss issues related to the dating of the four Gospels and some of the interpretive possibilities related to identifying Luke's Theophilus. For more information about J. Warner Wallace, visit his website coldcasechristianity.comDuring this episode, Shane referenced his recent webinar on the prologue of Luke's Gospel. We live in a culture of soundbites, but Christian parents and educators are called to form young people who listen well, think deeply, and speak with humility and grace. Host Davies Owens sits down with Dr. Justin Smith, Head of School at Little Rock Christian Academy and Herzog Foundation coach, to unpack the Harkness Method (a modern form of Socratic dialogue) and why it may be one of the most vital forms of discipleship in our time.In this conversation:Harkness vs. Socratic: what's the same, what's different, and how each keeps the text at the center rather than opinion.Truth matters: how Christ-centered schools avoid “bad talk radio” and anchor discussion in authorial intent, Scripture, and absolute truth.Formation over performance: why silence, restraint, and student discovery create stickier learning than efficient lectures.K–12 on-ramps: how Justin's team trains 7th–12th graders in names, manners, eye contact, question stems, and textual evidence.Home practices: simple dinner-table question bowls, “roses & thorns,” and “heaven & earth” prompts that cultivate a household of inquiry.

Grieving Out Loud: A Mother Coping with Loss in the Opioid Epidemic
This fall, the National Mall in Washington, D.C., was transformed into a sea of grief and remembrance. Four thousand tombstones stretched across the grass—each one representing a life cut short by substances. The Trail of Truth was more than an event; it was a call to action, shining a light on the nation's fentanyl and substance use disorder epidemic and urging lawmakers to finally take notice.Among the rows of stones, families gathered—mothers, fathers, siblings, and friends—united in both sorrow and determination. They came not only to mourn but to make sure their loved ones are never forgotten. In this episode of Grieving Out Loud, some of those voices are shared. Angela recorded these interviews on-site at the Trail of Truth event in Washington D.C. The guests speak candidly about what it's like to love someone battling substance use disorder—the frustration of trying to find help, the constant undercurrent of fear, and, for too many, the heartbreak of loss. These are raw, unfiltered stories. And that is exactly why they matter. Because the more openly this disease is spoken about, the less room shame and stigma have to silence the people who need help most.Read Angela's blog about the Trail of Truth:4,000 Tombstones on the National Mall and One Named EmilyThe founder of Trail of Truth, Alexis Pleus, has been featured on the podcast twice before. What happens when life takes an unexpected turn and faith becomes your anchor? In this heartfelt episode, I sit down with Jennifer Rothschild—best-selling author, speaker, podcast host, and Bible teacher—who lost her sight at age 15. Jennifer shares incredible wisdom born out of real life struggles that will encourage you, strengthen your faith, and give you insight to deal with your own challenges in life. Jennifer shares how her parents’ steadfast faith and practical love helped her trade bitterness for hope and how parents can model handling hardship for our kids. We explore the value of “seeing” life through God’s promises, like Philippians 4:13 and 2 Corinthians 4:16–18 and the necessity of constantly “accepting then adjusting” to life change. Jennifer is vulnerable, honest, and wise. This isn’t a glib “praise God” bumper sticker conversation, but one where Jennifer reminds us that “earth is short and heaven is long,” and our present struggles prepare us for an eternal glory beyond imagination. You will love this conversation and walk away inspired! And remember, I'd love to connect more on Instagram, where you'll find me at @donnaajones. Dr. Erwin Lutzer, Pastor Emeritus of The Moody Church is back with Jenny to explore the cultural and theological crisis facing America today, emphasizing the need to return to a biblical understanding of God amidst rising secularism. Dr. Lutzer shares wisdom and insight on our culture and the distorted view it has of God. He shows us how to engage people with truth, as he encourages believers to persevere and be the light in an ever increasingly dark world. His latest book, “The Eclipse of God:: Our Nation's Disastrous Search for a More Inclusive Deity” exposes our nation's disastrous efforts to redefine God in its own image. The resulting damage is evident in our world and churches today. “Americans don't mind saying they believe in God, just as long as they get to choose the God in whom they believe.” He explains objective truth has existed outside of us, but now the criterion of truth has now moved to inside the individual human being, so that's why there is so much confusion in the world today. “Love and Truth are not enemies - love rejoices in the truth.” God has not changed. We need God for truth, for morality and law. Dr. Lutzer emphasizes we need to return to the God of the Bible and not the gods of popular culture. As believers in Christ, we need to make sure we do not bow to the culture, but teach what the Bible teaches and live with the consequences. The question is,“What price are you willing to pay for truth?” You can hear Dr. Lutzer on his daily radio broadcast “Running To Win.” He is an award-winning author of over 50 books, including “We Will Not Be Silenced.” You can find Pastor Lutzer's sermons, articles, and media at moody church.org. Their interview is from at the 2025 NRB - International Christian Media Convention. You can hear the entire interview on a future “Crossroads With Jenny Bushkell. A lot of people talk about Truth and Beauty, but there's not as much talk about Goodness. On Let Me Be Frank, Bishop Caggiano dives into this less-discussed of the transcendentals, asking: …how do you define “goodness”? …how do you know that your heart is leading correctly? …what is the difference between good works and Christian good works? …how does this tie in with Pope Loe XIV's exhortation Dilexit Te? Got some sh!t to say?Marko and Steve are tackling one of gay culture's longest-standing debates — literally. This week, it's all about penis size and the ever-fascinating world of size queens. Why are we so obsessed with measurements, and does it actually matter when the lights go out? The guys go deep (pun intended) asking the hard questions: length or girth? And is it really about the motion of the ocean — or just having a bigger boat? Worship is an integral part of what it is to be human. All of us are worshippers. But the only thing worthy of our worship is the God who is infinite. Every other object of our worship will eat us alive. By contrast, worship of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, means we enter into the life the Trinity has been, is, and will always be enjoying - glorifying one another, and being glorified by one another. This worship, rather than robbing us of life, brings us to life. When we worship in Spirit (our spirits connecting with his Spirit, by means of the Holy Spirit's direction) and in Truth (directing our worship solely to Jesus, the crucified and resurrected Lord of Truth) we engage in true worship. The worship that life was meant for. By Ed Flint
When the Heart and Mind Agree: Finding Peace in Christ The prophet Joel calls the priests and people to repentance and fasting, . . . . . . warning that “the Day of the Lord” will bring judgment for those who remain unconverted but salvation for those who turn back to God with sincere hearts. True conversion means harmony between the heart and the mind . . . when our thoughts and desires are aligned with God's truth. Jesus illustrates this in the Gospel by confronting the Pharisees, who accuse Him of casting out demons by the power of the devil. Their hearts recognize His goodness, yet their minds reject Him out of pride and deceit, revealing an inner division. Jesus teaches that a “house divided against itself cannot stand” and warns that a heart cleansed of evil must be filled with God's grace, or else greater evils will return. The Homily concludes with an invitation to examine our own hearts: Are we filled with the Spirit of God or with division? True conversion brings harmony within us and, through us, harmony to our families, Church, and world. Only Christ, who is Truth itself, can bring this lasting peace and unity. In this episode, Dr. Samuel B. Lee, MD unpacks the deep spiritual and scientific meaning behind eternal living water—the same water Jesus offered to the woman at the well. From ancient parables to quantum biology, you'll explore how water is more than just hydration—it's a living, intelligent bridge between dimensions, memory, healing, and divine consciousness.Dr. Lee begins with “The Parable of the First Drop,” a soul-stirring story of how water volunteered to carry the memory of Source into form. From there, he takes you on a journey through the multidimensional architecture of water—from H2O to hydroplasmic ether to crystalline plasma and the Christic liquid light of your inner Avatar self. You'll discover how consciousness binds to water, how trauma gets imprinted into your cellular water, and how sacred sound—especially the Anuhazi language—can restructure water back to its original divine coherence. This isn't just metaphysical poetry—it's the science of remembrance and the foundation of deep healing and DNA activation. This transmission weaves together scripture, physics, indigenous wisdom, and personal practice to illuminate the truth:Heal the water, and the water will heal us—because we are water.
In this episode, Lian tells the ancient allegory of Plato's Cave, a story of awakening and the painful beauty of learning to see. Each month, Lian's shared a mythical tale as a doorway into your own soul. These stories are one of the oldest ways ancestral wisdom has been carried down to us, a living inheritance that continues to speak when we meet them with reverence. And this one feels especially poignant, because it will be the last story Lian tells in this way. Our community is evolving into its next form, UNIO: the Community for Wild Sovereign Souls. UNIO now becomes the living home for the Wild Sovereign Soul path, where together we reclaim our wildness, actualise our sovereignty, and awaken our souls. Rather than gathering for story and ceremony, we'll now meet twice each month in our community Guidance Circle so Jonathan and Lian can meet you exactly where you are and with whatever challenges you're experiencing from relationships and health, to money and parenting, to guide you to meet the material for liberation your soul is calling you to so that you may become truly free, living the life your heart longs for. You can find out more, and walk with us, at bemythical.com/unio The allegory tells of prisoners bound in a dark cavern, of shadows mistaken for truth, and of one who dares to turn toward the fire and climb into the blinding light of the sun. Lian tells the story of what happens when old beliefs begin to crack, when freedom calls but belonging pulls us back, and when the warmth of truth burns before it heals. Together, we follow the soul's climb from illusion to insight, from comfort to clarity. Listen if you've ever felt caught between the safety of what you know and the wild unknown of what could be. We'd love to know what YOU think about this week's show. Let's carry on the conversation… please leave a comment wherever you are listening or in any of our other spaces to engage. What you'll receive from this episode: The prisoners' world of shadows shows how easily belief can bind us, and how truth begins the moment we dare to question what we see. The climb from the cave reminds us that awakening is rarely gentle… it asks for courage, endurance, and the willingness to let old certainties fall away. Plato's allegory endures because it still speaks to our souls today, carrying ancestral wisdom about seeing clearly, walking together toward truth, and remembering the light that was always waiting.
