BIG Life Devotional | Daily Devotional for Women

When you really know about the unseen spiritual battle happening, you then have a choice … stand with God in the battle, or sit down and dismiss yourself from it. Sadly, most of us either refuse to acknowledge the battle happening at all – or – we refuse to allow our self-centered little lives to be bothered with it. But the truth is, we are bothered by it, continually. Every single family has wounds from a spiritual battle. God's word calls us to know about it and then do something about it. Ephesians 6:13, “Therefore, put on every piece of God's armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.” What is this time of evil? You can assume it's a future time that may not even impact your life, but I encourage you to consider the time of evil is anytime the enemy zeroes in on you. Remember, the devil is like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. His plan is sure: Kill, steal and destroy. If you are without the supernatural infusion of God's strength that comes through a connection with Jesus, and if you are without the full armor of God, you won't be able to stand up against the enemy's attack. There is a battle. It's real. And my friends, it's personal. Have you ever felt like the devil just had your number? Like his attacks were so personal and so direct? Yeah – well they are! As real as God's good plans are for you, the devil's bad plans for you are real too. Yes, God sends his angels to protect you, but Satan sends his demons to attack you. No, I don't like it, but that doesn't change the battle. What changes the battle is believing what God's word tells me and receiving everything he offers me. He offers me supernatural strength for his power to flow in me and through me. How? Through connection and relationship with Jesus. Then, he offers me detailed pieces of armor for the battle against evil. But it's always up to me whether or not I put on the armor. It's up to you to either put on the armor, or not. And if you don't, you are vulnerable. When the time of evil comes and the enemy zeros in on you, he'll know you're like a sitting duck. If your family is unprotected, it's time you realize it and change that! God has armor for you, and the armor is guaranteed to protect you from the spiritual battle happening in the unseen … but it's up to you to put it on! Some of us have all our armor piled up in a corner collecting dust, while we wonder why life is so darn hard. Why does this stuff just keep happening? Maybe, you've been sitting when you should have been standing with God. Maybe you've been fighting with your own power and you're 100% outmatched by powers greater than you. Maybe you've picked up a couple pieces or armor here and there, but you don't know how to use it so you're a dangerous disaster with weapons you're throwing around. The enemy is after you and you have to be able to resist him. If you can't resist him, you will fall prey to him. You will be fooled, you will be subdued, you will be overcome, and then you'll be held as his prisoner, stuck in a life that is far short of all God created you for. Look around – are you living a life that is less than the great big Almighty God really has for you? Did you get stuck somewhere along the way, discouraged and depressed, so you gave up and let that little flame within you just go out. And here you are settled in, just trying to get through life when that is such a distant cry from God's great big plan for you. But how do you resist the devil? WITH THE TRUTH! Now we begin looking at each piece of the Armor of God as written by Paul. First, understand that Paul was never a Roman soldier. He was never in the military. He didn't have armor, he didn't wear armor. He was a scholar, not a soldier. But what Paul did have was a personal and up close encounter with a real Roman soldier. As Paul wrote the book of Ephesians, he was in prison. When I was in Rome, I listened to the audio of a guided tour to orient precisely what I was looking at. Sometimes the very things that looked like nothing were totally something. In very broken English, my audio guide pointed out locations of important events and buildings to examine. As a total side note, he said, “Look to the left of this stately building – there you will see a small, unassuming, stone building – this is where Paul was impriosoned.” The guide quickly moved on to other facts and ruins. But here I was, standing in front of the very building where Paul sat imprisioned. Radically important events happened right here! Here was where the Holy Spirit guided him to tell us about the spiritual battles happening in the unseen and how to stand with God in the battle. And while Paul had never worn a soldier's armor before, he was likely sitting on a prison floor literally chained to a Roman soldier in that moment. Envision that – Paul is looking at the soldier he's chained to, the one guarding him and holding him captive, the one to ensure he was there to face his future death sentence. And piece by piece, Paul notices the literal armor of the solider and the Holy Spirit reveals to him the armor God has for us. Paul begins the listing of the armor in verse 14, “Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth.” Maybe you're familiar with this list of armor – but have you ever questioned why it would begin with the BELT? Isn't the belt the accessory? Isn't the belt the last thing you put on when getting dressed? Why would we begin with the BELT OF TRUTH. Well to understand, you have to first remember the dress of the day … literally, the dress. Even men, and yes even soldiers, wore dress like long garments. Running and fighting in this long garment was very troublesome. You would easily get tripped up and lose the battle before your enemy even hit you. So the belt was perhaps one of the most important pieces in the soldier's armor. The belt tied up the long garment so their legs were free to run. The belt held their weapons in place. The belt literally tied the other armor together and without it, they would be defeated. So Paul says, to stand your ground against the devil and his demons, you begin with the belt of truth. My friend, if you don't know the truth, you will get tripped up before you even get to the real battle. The devil is called the deceiver. His number 1 tactic is to twist the truth and sell you a lie. It was how he made his very first move against humanity. In the garden, he shows up to Eve as a snake and he introduces a lie. “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?” Eve engages. HUGE MISTAKE. When you know you're being questioned by the devil, don't engage. Don't talk to him, and for heaven's sake, don't dance with him. There's a whole lot of God's girls getting throughly confused and lost in life because we're just dancing with the devil, assuming it's harmless. He's not harmless. He's vicious. He's on attack. He's a liar, an absolute deceiver. Now Eve is engaged in conversation with the enemy, and he confuses her. He tricks her into thinking God won't let them eat from that one special tree in the garden because God is hiding something good from them. The devil convinces her God is holding out on her. So, she eats the apple, gets Adam to eat the apple with her, and now sin has an entry into humanity. God wasn't holding out on Adam and Eve by telling them they couldn't eat the apple – God was PROTECTING them. But, they didn't know the TRUTH – and because they didn't know the truth, they fell for the enemy's lie. They were deceived. The TRUTH is ground zero for the unseen spiritual battle. If you don't know the truth, you will battle the wrong things, hide when you should be standing, play little when you have a BIG spirit within, and settle for a defeated life when the victory has already been won through Jesus. My friend, do you KNOW the TRUTH? I mean for real – the truth. The truth about God. The truth about God's plan. The truth about who you are. The truth about who you're battling. The truth about God's ways and the tactics of the enemy. Without the truth, everything else is twisted and useless. Faith without truth becomes wishing thinking. Salvation without truth becomes cultish and self-created religion. Righteousness without truth becomes pride and self-will. Peace without truth becomes a naive la-la land. The word without truth becomes nonsense stories we believe and then fight over. And that is why the enemy is the deceiver. He's most afraid of the truth and he works his hardest to keep you confused and without God's truth. So yes, Paul begins teaching us about the Armor of God for our spiritual battle, first with the belt of truth. This is what holds everything together. You begin with truth, otherwise everything else is wrong. You may be climbing a ladder, but what good is it if the ladder is against the wrong wall. You may be fighting for what you think is right, but if what you think is right is actually wrong, it doesn't matter how much you believe in what you're fighting for, it's still wrong. What is the TRUTH about this God who created you, chose you, loves you and saves you? What is the truth about this one life you have been given to live? What is the truth about mercy and grace that covers you and makes you whole? What is the truth about a deeper calling on your life and a heavenly purpose for your days? The devil's first tactic is always to confuse you and deceive you. Do you know what you believe? Do you know why you believe it? You will get tripped up on your way to the battle if you don't. God has a whole lot of his daughters running around without their belts on! We're confused, we're naive and we have been deceived. Now he says, “MY GIRL, PUT YOUR BELT ON!” Have you ever asked God to help you know the truth? Have you sought him for a heart that really understands his will? GOD ANSWERS THAT PRAYER. One of my favorite stories in the Bible is when Solomon is a young man and he's made King, but he's afraid because he doesn't know how to lead his kingdom. In 1 Kings 3, Solomon asks God to give him an understanding heart to know the truth, to know right and wrong. And here is God's reply – verses 12-13, “I will give you what you have asked for! I will give you a wise and understanding heart such as no one else has ever had or ever will have. AND I will also give you what you did not ask for – riches and fame” You want the truth – ask God for it! He will give you a heart that understands. And with the truth comes even more things you didn't even ask for. Start there. The belt of truth. The Weaponized Wound: Trauma, Belief Engineering & the Fatal Flaw in the Control Mechanism

Why do anomalous experiences so often arrive in the wake of trauma? And what happens when the people who understand that connection decide to use it as a weapon? This episode of Inquiry follows trauma as the hidden throughline connecting UFOs, consciousness, psychological operations, and the engineering of belief at scale. Kelly Chase starts with how human perception actually works, drawing on Donald Hoffman's "The Case Against Reality," James Madden's umwelt and über-umwelt from "Unidentified Flying Hyperobject," and Jeffrey Kripal's Filter Thesis, then grounds it all in the predictive processing model of the brain and Karl Friston's free energy principle. The picture that emerges is unsettling: trauma doesn't only wound a person, it makes them porous, loosening the filters that hold consensus reality in place. From there the conversation turns toward how that vulnerability has been exploited. It traces belief manipulation from the 1980 "From PSYOP to MindWar" paper by Michael Aquino and Paul Vallely, through MKULTRA and Operation Mockingbird, to the declassified reality of Operation Northwoods and the manufacturing of consent. It brings in Jacques Vallée's control system hypothesis and Colm Kelleher's concept of bidirectional mimicry to ask whether human institutions and the phenomenon itself may be using the same lever: disruption, destabilization, and the reshaping of belief in the rupture's aftermath. Then it turns the dread on its head. Research on openness to experience and Post-Traumatic Growth suggests the architects of mass stress made a critical miscalculation. Trauma creates openings, and openings go both ways. You can crack the shell of consensus reality to make people malleable, but you cannot control what hatches. Topics explored: Trauma and anomalous experience | experiencer patterns | the Filter Thesis | Donald Hoffman | perception as interface | umwelt and über-umwelt | James Madden | Jeffrey Kripal | predictive processing | Karl Friston | free energy principle | belief malleability | shattered assumptions | meaning violation | belief engineering | MindWar | Michael Aquino | Paul Vallely | psychological operations | MKULTRA | Operation Mockingbird | cognitive sovereignty | bidirectional mimicry | Colm Kelleher | black triangle craft | Jacques Vallée | control system hypothesis | Operation Northwoods | manufactured consent | openness to experience | Post-Traumatic Growth | consciousness-level immune response | non-human intelligence | contact experiences Inquiry with Kelly Chase is brought to you by SpectreVision Radio.Produced in partnership with Voltage.fm.  Referenced In This Episode The Case Against Reality: Why Evolution Hid the Truth from Our Eyes — Donald Hoffman (2019) Unidentified Flying Hyperobject: UFOs, Philosophy, and the End of the World — James Madden (2023) How to Think Impossibly: About Souls, UFOs, Time, Belief, and Everything Else — Jeffrey J. In this episode, Michael welcomes Master Mingtong Gu. Master Mingtong Gu is an internationally recognized teacher of Wisdom Healing Qigong, founder of the Chi Center and the Wisdom Healing Qigong community, and a leading voice in energy healing, mind-body medicine, and embodied spiritual awakening. Drawing from ancient Chinese healing traditions and decades of personal practice, his work helps people reconnect with the body as a source of healing, consciousness, resilience, and transformation. His latest book, Coming Home to Embodied Awakening, explores how returning to the body restores wholeness, inner peace, and human connection in an age of distraction and AI.  Conversation Highlights Include: -A powerful exploration of how modern life keeps people trapped in the mind, disconnected from the body, and separated from their deeper humanity. -Why so much suffering comes from living externally—searching for love, peace, fulfillment, and healing outside ourselves instead of within. -An honest conversation about embodiment as the practice of returning to the body again and again, especially in an age of distraction, technology, and AI. -How healing begins when people stop resisting what they feel internally and start meeting the body with compassion, presence, and awareness. -A profound reframe of the body not as a machine, object, or "rental vehicle," but as a sacred expression of life itself. -What happens emotionally and spiritually when people reconnect with their bodies and begin to experience groundedness, wholeness, self-love, and inner peace. -A beautiful reflection on meditating in the middle of Times Square and discovering stillness, presence, and sacredness within chaos and noise. -The story of a childhood near-death experience, forgotten trauma, asthma, and the realization that the body remembers what the mind forgets. -Why healing is not linear, but a spiral of awareness, growth, detoxification, and returning to deeper levels of Truth and consciousness. -A practical framework for transformation through acceptance, activation, and appreciation—moving from inner contraction into embodiment, empowerment, and gratitude. Michael closes the episode with a guided meditation on presence, observation, embodiment, sacred silence, and anchoring  Heaven on Earth through awareness.

Let's say it again, always listen to your President. Research always leads to rabbit holes. Truth gravitates like reforming DNA. Sponsors are always the people. Getting into the nitty gritty vids. Who's watching your banking account? A deeply complex look at a new scene. Tax refunds and digital tools. California's smart meters are a child's play level of control. At the birth of what was then the latest new tech. Now, it's more approachable. The Dept. Of War is key. The Fourth Amendment has been out the window for decades. It's not about a linear history. It all happens at once. If you can't explain it simply, then you don't know the topic. Contracts, graft and corruption. The Nexus 7 lineage. FOIA releases and the hidden powers. Travelling with no tech. June has been a bucket of ooze. The majority of public people are part of the show. Don't fall into their structured pockets of thinking. Always remember that God has got this, and there is nothing for us to fear.

Zach sits down with James and Molly Christensen, a married couple and fellow therapists based in Sacramento, who spent more than six years in couples therapy before it actually worked. They burned through eight therapists, logged over a hundred sessions, and came within reach of a marriage that had been quietly failing for years. The fact that they are now both practicing couples therapists themselves makes this conversation something rare: a behind-the-curtain look at what the struggle actually looks like from inside. The conversation gets honest fast. James names what he had to face: narcissism, manipulation, a sense of superiority, and an inability to take feedback without it threatening his identity. Molly describes her own side of the dynamic, a deeply people-pleasing, avoidant woman who had been raised to see relationships as transactional, and who spent years wondering whether her instincts about James were accurate or whether she was the one losing her mind. The turning point for both of them came in the form of an intensive with a therapist who was finally skilled enough to hold them both, call them both out in the moment, and care enough about James to be blunt with him without losing him. James started recording every session and listening back four times. By the fourth listen, he could hear himself clearly. That's when things shifted. What runs underneath this whole episode is a conviction that most couples are doing "recovery lounge" therapy, showing up, going through the motions, and feeling okay about it, without ever actually growing. James makes the case that conflict is not the problem in most marriages. Avoidance is. The goal, for both of them as clients and now as clinicians, is more conflict with less anger, which means developing the capacity to say what you actually think, to your spouse, with genuine care behind it, and to hold your ground when they push back. That's differentiation. That's the work. And if you get through it, Zach notes, the intimacy on the other side is real.Key TakeawaysFiring your therapist is sometimes the right call. If you're not making progress after significant time, the fit may be the problem, not the process.Being resistant to therapy is often not about therapy. Molly's refusal to engage was partly a refusal to let James dictate her path. Understanding the resistance tells you a lot about the relationship dynamic.Narcissism has four components worth knowing: fragility (inability to take criticism), a sense of superiority, indifference to others, and manipulation as a means of protecting a false self. The breakthrough often requires a therapist who combines genuine care with genuine bluntness. Truth without love is abusive. Love without truth is just convenient. Both together is what actually moves people.Conflict is not the enemy. Avoidance is. Couples who never fight aren't at peace, they're just not saying what they really think, and it costs them.Differentiation is the ability to stay grounded in yourself when your partner is not okay. It's not about getting them to back down. It's about whether you can hold your own truth without crumbling under pressure. The tools from research-based approaches like Gottman are only as useful as the people holding them. If underlying traits like narcissism or avoidance are untreated, the tools won't stick. When couples heal, families heal. James and Molly both note that their children have noticed the difference, and that the work they've done has changed the floor their kids are jumping from.Guest InfoJames Christensen Licensed couples therapist based in Sacramento, California. Use our unique code DIALIN to get 25% off your first year of an Accountable2You Personal or Family Plan In John 4, Jesus sits down with the last person anyone expected: a Samaritan woman with a broken past. And in that conversation, he gives the clearest definition of worship in all of Scripture — in spirit and in truth. Here's the problem: most churches pick a lane. Some go all-in on the spiritual experience — the emotion, the atmosphere, the "encounter." Others go all-in on doctrine and truth — deep teaching, sound theology, the Word. And both camps look at the other and think they've got it figured out.But Jesus says they're two sides of the same coin.Spirit without truth leads to hysteria. Truth without spirit leads to stoicism — more morgue than a meeting with the living God. Real, biblical worship refuses to separate the two.In this episode we unpack:✅ Why worship is far more than a song✅ What "spirit" and "truth" actually mean — and why you need both✅ How superficial teaching always produces superficial worship✅ How the most rejected woman in the story became the first evangelist✅ What God actually thinks about your worship

Love to hear from you; “Send us a Text Message”A single question can dismantle years of certainty: who decides what counts as Scripture in the first place? That's where Cooper White's journey gets gripping, because it wasn't powered by rebellion or a bad church experience. He and his wife were raised in loving evangelical families, deeply involved in ministry, and genuinely devoted to Jesus. But while serving in youth ministry and later studying theology at Wheaton, Cooper kept running into a problem that would not go away: authority. If Christians disagree on core doctrines, if interpretations multiply endlessly, and if even the biblical canon requires a decision, what holds the Church together in Truth?Suffering brought the questions down to the heart. When Cooper's wife faced Lyme disease, Catholic teaching on redemptive suffering, alongside voices like Relevant Radio and real Catholic families living the faith, made the Church feel not like a system of restrictions but a home with sacraments, confession, and a liturgical rhythm strong enough to carry a family when life breaks. If you're wrestling with unity, truth, the Eucharist, or the fear that one hard question could unravel everything, this conversation gives you a clearer path forward. Subscribe, share this with a friend who's searching, and leave a review with the question you're still trying to answer.Join us! Hungry for the gifts of the Spirit but tired of striving? This session lays a clean foundation: the gifts flow from the life of Jesus, not the strength of Adam. We begin with Romans 6 to show how new birth changes your source—your old self was crucified with Christ, and now you live in Him. From that place, revelation replaces effort. It's not about talent or personality; it's about grace multiplied through the knowledge of God and the light that only the Spirit can give.We unpack the vital difference between information and light. You can recite verses on healing and prophecy, but without Spirit-given light, ministry remains hit-or-miss. Drawing from 2 Peter 1 and 1 Corinthians 2, we explore how the Spirit reveals what eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and why that revelation centers on the Son of God. When you see Jesus victorious over death, you gain a settled confidence to confront sin, cycles, and the works of darkness. That clarity fuels consistent, humble, Spirit-led action.Expect practical guidance you can use this month: create daily intentional time with God to listen before you speak, ask for specific light about Jesus' victory for your current barriers, and lead gatherings with room for revelation rather than noise. Real stories of Spirit-prompted outreach remind us this isn't theory—families are transformed when we follow the light. We close with focused prayer and impartation for pastors, leaders, and hungry believers, trusting the God who qualifies the unqualified and prepared good works long before we asked. If you're ready to move from effort to overflow, from information to illumination, this session will help you see Jesus more clearly and walk in the grace of His gifts. Subscribe, share with a friend who's hungry for more, and leave a review telling us where you're asking God for light this week.We love to hear from our listeners! Building healthy biblical friendships requires understanding that truth comes from God's Word, not personal opinion or cultural norms. While we should love everyone, not everyone deserves access to our inner circle. True friendship means being friendly first and loving others unconditionally, even when they have nothing to offer. We must guard our hearts by setting wise boundaries, as our closest relationships directly impact our spiritual growth and future direction. The people we surround ourselves with either make us wiser or lead us toward destruction, so we need discernment to choose companions who draw us closer to Christ rather than away from Him.Thank you for joining us at NorthRidge Church! Welcome to The Daily, where we study the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter, every day. Get your Hosea Scripture Journal now. What if the greatest danger in your life isn't open rebellion, but quiet distance from God? Listen to our text today, Hosea 4:4-6a: Yet let no one contend, and let none accuse, for with you is my contention, O priest. You shall stumble by day; the prophet also shall stumble with you by night; and I will destroy your mother. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, — Hosea 4:4-6a God says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." He does not say they are inconvenienced, distracted, or struggling. He says they are destroyed. And the cause is not a lack of resources or opportunity. It is a lack of knowledge. But this is not talking about information alone. The Hebrew idea behind this word points to real, personal, covenant knowledge. God is not accusing them of forgetting a few facts about him. He is saying they no longer know him as they should. The relationship has thinned. The truth has been neglected. What should have been living and personal has become distant and hollow. And notice this carefully: God says they rejected knowledge. This was not innocent ignorance. This was chosen distance and outright rejection. They had access to God's Word. They had priests. They had covenant history. But instead of receiving what God had revealed, they pushed it aside. They preferred other voices, other loves, and other ways of living. That is why this prophecy hits so hard. Destruction in our lives does not begin when we become openly wicked. It begins much earlier, when we stop pursuing the knowledge of God. That is when the drift begins. Truth grows thin. Conviction weakens. Sin becomes easier to justify. What once felt dangerous begins to feel normal. If your knowledge or relationship with God is shallow, your life will not stay strong for long. If you live on old truth, borrowed truth, or occasional truth, you will eventually feel the effects of it. You cannot neglect God privately and stay steady personally. So instead of fixing peripheral issues in your life, maybe it's time to address the relational issues with God. It might be time to address your intimacy. Take some time today to sit in God's presence. Sing to him. Pray to him. Sit quietly in his presence and merely listen to him. Get to know the Lord again, and not just more about him. DO THIS: Spend time in God's Word today with one aim: not just to learn something, but to know him more deeply. ASK THIS: Where has your knowledge of God become thin or secondhand? What habits are helping you know God more personally, and what habits are pulling you away? What is one step you need to take today to pursue God more intentionally? PRAY THIS: Father, keep me from drifting into distance from you. Deepen my knowledge of you and draw me into a living, faithful relationship with you. Amen. PLAY THIS: "The Secret Place"

Read OnlineSome Pharisees and Herodians were sent to Jesus to ensnare him in his speech. They came and said to him, “Teacher, we know that you are a truthful man and that you are not concerned with anyone's opinion. You do not regard a person's status but teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. Is it lawful to pay the census tax to Caesar or not? Should we pay or should we not pay?” Mark 12:13–14Just prior to today's Gospel, the chief priests, scribes, and elders confronted Jesus in the Temple area while He taught, challenging His authority to drive out the moneychangers and merchants. Though they withdrew out of fear of opposition from the crowds, they sent the Pharisees and Herodians to trap Him (cf. Mark 11:27–33). The alliance of these five groups, who were often opposed to one another—especially the Pharisees and the Herodians—well illustrates the old adage: “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.”The Pharisees were known for their strict adherence to oral traditions derived from the Mosaic Law. They frequently clashed with the chief priests and elders, who focused on Temple worship and ceremonial rites. The Herodians were despised by both the Pharisees and the other leaders for their support of Herod and Roman occupation. Their allegiance to Rome enabled them to maintain political influence under Herod's rule. Despite their usual animosity, these groups united in their shared opposition to Jesus. His ongoing influence among the people, His teachings that exposed their hypocrisy, and His actions in the Temple all threatened their authority and control.Though all five of these groups are less than inspirational, we can learn from them. They depict fallen human tendencies—such as pride, fear, and self-interest—that we all struggle with. First, true unity only comes from aligning ourselves with God and His Truth, which fosters humility, charity, and a desire to seek God's will above our own interests. By contrast, the “unity” shared by this coalition of factions was grounded in malice. Hatred can so blind us that we turn from our core values and seek ways to fuel our resentment. This is precisely what these normally divided groups did: Their mutual hatred for Jesus and fear of losing influence over the community drove them to unite in a shared mission of opposition—something we, too, can fall into if we let malice guide us.In today's Gospel, we can also learn from the questioning of the Pharisees and Herodians. They begin with flattery, which is always deceptive and manipulative. Their insincere praise was not meant to honor Jesus but to disarm Him and lure Him into their trap. Perhaps they failed to recall the wisdom found in Proverbs: “Those who speak flattery to their neighbor cast a net at their feet” (29:5) or “Charm is deceptive…” (31:30). Flattery not only deceives others but often ensnares those who use it, leading them into sin, as seen in today's Gospel.Second, the question they ask is a carefully constructed trap. If Jesus said, “Yes, it is lawful to pay the census tax to Caesar,” the Pharisees could accuse Him of disregarding Jewish law and collaborating with Roman oppressors. If He said, “No,” the Herodians could report Him to Herod as a revolutionary opposing Roman authority. Their malice was cunning, but Jesus' wisdom transcends theirs, and He escapes their trap. His response not only avoids their deceit but also exposes their hypocrisy, turning their malicious scheme into an opportunity to teach eternal truths.Reflect today on these fallen human tendencies vividly illustrated by these five groups who were aligned in their opposition to our Lord. When you look at your own “alliances,” what is it that unites you? Shared hate and resentment? A common fear or opposition to something? Bonds formed over shared negativity or resentment are fleeting and destructive. True and lasting unity is found only in aligning ourselves with the Truth of the Word of God, striving together for holiness, and building relationships grounded in Christ. Reflect on whether your relationships draw you closer to Christ or distract you from Him, and seek to realign them with His Truth.Lord of all Wisdom, at times I form bonds, like the Pharisees and Herodians, that are grounded in sin and negative emotions rather than in Your charity and truth. Free me, I pray, from these oppressive sins, and make me honest, pure of heart, and a seeker of the unity found only in You. Jesus, I trust in You.Image: The Tribute Money By Leopold LayerSource: Free RSS feed from catholic-daily-reflections.com — Copyright © 2026 My Catholic Life! Inc. All rights reserved. What happens when life hits you hard? In this episode of The Impossible Life Podcast, Nick Surface and Garrett Unclebach unpack what it means to live from the inside out. This is a conversation about identity, pressure, truth, endurance, and the kind of faith that makes Christian men immovable when the world around them is trying to shape them.Garrett explains that the real test of identity is not what you say about yourself when things are easy. The real test is what happens when pressure hits. Is what's inside of you stronger than what's outside of you? Are you influencing your environment, or is your environment influencing you? That is the heart of inside out living.Nick and Garrett use the picture of osmosis to explain how men are constantly being shaped by the environments around them. If what is outside of you is stronger than what is inside of you, it will change you. But if what God has built inside of you is stronger, you begin to change the environment instead. This episode challenges Christian men to stop living from external validation, pressure, feelings, and circumstances. Instead, men are called to live from truth, identity, faith, and the purpose God placed inside them. Garrett breaks down four major battles every man must win if he wants to live from the inside out.The first is truth over pressure. Pressure tests what you really believe. If something is true, it remains true even when life gets difficult. Christian men must learn to stand on the Word of God, not temporary methods, hacks, emotions, or cultural opinions. Truth does not break under pressure. The second is endurance over results. Many men chase outcomes because they think results will give them identity. But identity is built through endurance. James 1 shows that perseverance produces maturity, and maturity produces a life that lacks nothing. Purpose is not just found in reaching the result. It is formed in the process of becoming the kind of man who can endure. The third is evidence over affirmation. Affirmation feels good, but it can become dangerous when a man needs other people to tell him who he is. Garrett explains that strong identity is built through private evidence: the moments no one sees, the work no one applauds, and the decisions that prove to yourself who you are. Christian men must stop outsourcing their identity to the opinions of others. The fourth is thoughts over feelings. Feelings often come from what is happening around you, but thoughts are formed internally. Temptation, anger, fear, hunger, weakness, and comfort all try to pull men off course. But a transformed mind, built on God's truth, gives a man the ability to lead himself instead of being led by every feeling. This episode is a powerful call for men who want to walk in faith and purpose. If you want to become who God created you to be, you cannot live from the outside in. You cannot let pressure define you. You cannot let people's opinions direct you. You cannot let feelings lead your life. You have to know who you are. Because until your identity is stronger than your environment, your environment will keep shaping you. But when Christ is alive in you, what is inside can become stronger than anything outside of you. That is how Christian men live with purpose. That is how faith becomes strength. That is how you live from the inside out.Get With NuWave Home Lenders By Clicking HereJoin a group of likeminded Impossible Life listeners in our FREE Skool community by clicking here.Get the Purpose Playbook by clicking hereGet the FREE Basic Discipline Training 30 Day Program by clicking hereJoin us in Mindset Mastery by clicking hereIf you're a man that wants real accountability and training to be a leader, click here.Level up your nutrition with IDLife by clicking hereGET IN TOUCHSocial Media - @theimpossiblelifeEmail - info@theimpossible.life

This month on Laura Flanders and Friends, we're revisiting conversations around solidarity, kinship and what it means to be human. This week we explore 'The Fantasy and Necessity of Solidarity', with author and activist Sarah Schulman, who shares what she's learned from AIDS activism to Palestine. Description: What is “solidarity” and what does it require? Giving up on perfection, for one thing, says Sarah Schulman, author of “Conflict is Not Abuse,” and so much more. Award-winning writer, teacher, playwright and activist, Schulman's latest book is “The Fantasy and Necessity of Solidarity”, in which she reflects on years of experiments and learning, from the 1980s to today. In this episode, find out what role GRITtv, an earlier iteration of Flanders' show, played in the movement for Palestinian liberation, and hear a discussion of the Harlem artist Alice Neel. Her non-fiction books include “Conflict is Not Abuse: Overstating Harm, Community Responsibility, and the Duty of Repair” and “Let the Record Show: A Political History of ACT UP New York, 1987-1993”. Also in this episode, a commentary from Laura on the assassination of Minnesota lawmaker Melissa Hortman, a strategic progressive who practiced solidarity. “When I confronted the Israeli occupation of Palestine, something resonated for me emotionally between that and the AIDS experience. What I felt was similar was that people who were endangered were being falsely depicted as dangerous.” - Sarah Schulman “Right now we're in the middle of a cataclysm of fascism and there's no quick fix. And we have to understand that the idea that you can go in and just fix it is a supremacy concept.” - Sarah Schulman Guests:  Sarah Schulman, Writer & AIDS Historian; Author, The Fantasy and Necessity of Solidarity   This show is made possible by you! Every soul is immortal—but not every immortal soul will spend eternity in heaven. In today's episode of the MY Devotional Podcast, Dr. Michael Youssef addresses a reality many avoid: Scripture teaches both heaven and hell are real, and false teachers increasingly deny these foundational truths. Drawing on C. S. Lewis' reasoning, Dr. Youssef underscores the heart of the issue: God's love is so great that He entered human history, suffered, and died to rescue sinners—yet He does not force salvation on those who refuse His gift. The Bible is clear that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23)—eternal separation from God—yet the Gospel is equally clear: eternal life is offered freely by grace. Revelation describes the eternal consequence for those who reject Christ as “the second death” (Revelation 21:8), but it doesn't end with warning—it extends an open invitation from Jesus Himself: to the thirsty, He gives water without cost from the spring of the water of life, making repentant sinners His children forever (Revelation 21:6–7). This episode calls you to weigh the Truth seriously—and to run to the Savior who alone delivers from judgment and secures everlasting life. Prayer: God, thank You for saving me from hell and to heaven. Grant me courage to share Your Good News with those around me. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen. “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand” (John 10:27-28). Lee, MD dives into one of the most important questions humanity can ask: Who am I, and where do I come from? Through the story of Celeste and her grandmother's quilt, Dr. Lee reveals a powerful metaphor for the 12 original celestial human tribes and the 12 strands of DNA within the human template. What first appears fragmented, mismatched, or forgotten is actually a living map, a sacred record, and a hidden operating system waiting to be remembered. This episode explores the 12 original celestial human tribes, the 12-strand DNA silicate matrix, the Kathara Grid, the planetary Stargates, the 144,000 as a frequency bandwidth, and the three seedings of humanity. Dr. Lee explains how the original human template was designed as a living bridge between Mother Earth, the planetary grid, and Source, and how the inner Christos reclamation mission is unfolding now through remembrance, DNA activation, sound, light, symbols, breath, and frequency. Dr. Lee also shares how the 12 tribes are not about ethnicity, ancestry, separation, or chosen status. They are 12 functional frequency bands embedded within the human DNA template. You were not born into one tribe. You were designed to embody all 12. This is a transmission about remembering the map that was always inside you, restoring the original celestial human blueprint, and reclaiming your role as a living Stargate key in Mother Earth's awakening. Sacred Truths & Lessons from This Episode: • You were not born incomplete • The 12 tribes are frequency bands within the human DNA template • The 144,000 is a DNA frequency bandwidth, not a chosen headcount • Your body is the hardware, and your DNA is the operating system • Mother Earth's grid and human DNA are part of a reciprocal energetic system • The inner Christos reclamation mission is happening through remembrance, embodiment, and frequency

Welcome to The Daily, where we study the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter, every day. Get your Hosea Scripture Journal now. What causes a nation to slowly fall apart? God answers that question with surprising clarity. Listen to our text today, Hosea 4:1b-3: There is no faithfulness or steadfast love, and no knowledge of God in the land; there is swearing, lying, murder, stealing, and committing adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed. Therefore the land mourns, and all who dwell in it languish, and also the beasts of the field and the birds of the heavens, and even the fish of the sea are taken away.— Hosea 4:1b-3 That is where the decay begins. Not with politics. Not with policies. With the absence of God. Not the absence of religious talk—but the absence of truly knowing him. That word "knowledge" has more meaning than it sounds. The Hebrew word is: דַּעַת (daʿat) — from the root יָדַע (yada). It doesn't mean information—it means relationship. Personal, experiential, covenant knowing. God isn't saying they forgot facts about him. He's saying they don't know me intimately or relationally anymore. And once that foundation is gone, everything built on it begins to weaken. Faithfulness fades. Love becomes shallow. Truth becomes flexible. What follows is predictable. A list of five behaviors follows: "Swearing, lying, murder, stealing, and committing adultery…" These are not just individual sins. They are symptoms of something deeper. When people lose their knowledge of God, they lose the standard that once shaped their lives. Boundaries begin to disappear. "They break all bounds…" And when there are no boundaries, there is no restraint. "Bloodshed follows bloodshed." This is what decay looks like. It spreads. It compounds. It becomes cultural. But it doesn't stop with people. "The land mourns…" Even creation feels the destruction of it. This takes us all the way back to Genesis. When sin enters, it never stays contained. It affects everything—relationships, communities, even the earth itself. So let's make this personal. If your life feels unstable, truth feels negotiable, love feels inconsistent, don't blame others or your circumstances too quickly. It might be that you have drifted in your relationship with God. Not your belief in him. Not your language about him. Your knowledge (or relationship) with him. Because you don't drift into a relationship with God. You drift away from him. Quietly. Gradually. Almost without noticing. Until one day, what once felt wrong feels normal. And what once felt true feels optional. Don't just ask, "What needs to change?" Ask: "Do I actually know God anymore?" DO THIS: Spend time today in God's Word and focus on one truth about who he is, not just what he commands. ASK THIS: Where do you see the effects of a lack of God's truth in the world around you? How has your understanding of God shaped your daily decisions? What is one way you can grow in truly knowing God this week? PRAY THIS: Father, deepen my knowledge of you. Help me build my life on your truth so I don't drift into confusion or compromise. Amen. PLAY THIS: "Knowing You (All I Once Held Dear)"
