Emphasizing the importance of not trying to control anxiety, I invite listeners to fully accept their feelings and “float through” the discomfort that arises. By allowing time to pass without resistance, we can gradually find our way back to a state of calm.I address a listener's question regarding intense social anxiety, specifically around interactions with men. This situation serves as a perfect example to illustrate how anxiety forms and operates in a familiar cycle of fear and avoidance. The listener described experiencing physical symptoms such as shortness of breath and panic at the sight of men, especially those she perceives as attractive. I reassure her and others in similar situations that these reactions stem from the nervous system's protective instincts, which are often rooted in past experiences rather than present threats.Understanding the anxiety loop is crucial in breaking free from these patterns. I explain how our bodies react to perceived threats, triggering a response that feeds into a feedback loop of fear where the mind interprets these physiological sensations negatively, leading to further anxiety. The key takeaway is that our reactions are habitual rather than indicative of real danger. We can learn to recognize this cycle and begin to reshape our responses over time.#AnxietyCoachesPodcast, #GinaRyan, #DrClaireWeeks, #AnxietyRecovery, #SocialAnxiety, #PanicAttacks, #Mindfulness, #MentalHealth, #Acceptance, #NervousSystem, #Grounding, #HealingJourney, #OvercomingFear, #SelfCare, #Floating, #AnxietyTips, #MentalWellness, #StressRelief, #ExposureTherapy, #InnerPeace, #Calm, #AnxietySupport, #Breathe, #MindsetShift, #Neuroplasticity, #Healing, #SelfCompassion, #WellnessPodcast, #AnxietyHelp, #PeaceOfMindSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Sasha and Erin dive into a foundational teaching from Patanjali's Yoga Sutras: the Pancha Kleshas—five root obstacles that block our inner peace and keep us trapped in suffering. These five kleshas are:Avidya, or ignorance, the root misperception that keeps us from seeing reality clearly. Asmita, egoism, our over-identification with ‘I' and our roles in the world. Raga, attachment, the clinging to pleasure that creates endless desire and intense feelings that drive unconscious, reactive actions which in turn produce karmas. Dvesha, aversion or hatred of suffering, the push against pain and discomfort that fuels reactivity. Abhinivesha, the instinctive fear of death and clinging to life itself, which underlies so much of our anxiety. These kleshas produce duhkha (suffering) and bind the mind to cycles of desire and aversion. In other words, creating patterns and/or addictions that are hard to break.Yoga's purpose is to weaken and dissolve the kleshas, leading to clarity, peace, and liberation. We explore how these kleshas show up in our daily lives, how they influence our relationships, health, and choices, and what practical tools from yoga and Ayurveda can help us recognize, release, and ultimately dissolve these mental obstacles.Send a textFor 20% off Kerala Ayurveda products, use code OjasOasis at checkoutFor 20% off GarryNSun products, use code OJASOASIS20 at checkoutFor 20% off Ora Cacao products, use OJASOASIS20 at checkout Receive $500 off your Panchakarma retreat at SoHum Healing Resort with code OjasOasisPK2025 Register for the 2026 NAMA Conference at https://www.ayurvedanama.org/ Support the showTo learn more about working with us, please visit www.OjasOasis.com Connect with us @ojasoasis on Instagram, X, TikTok, and YouTube

You'll never reach it. —Salvador DaliChapters0:27 Embracing Imperfection10:37 Affirmations for Self-Compassion14:59 The Pursuit of Wisdom Over PerfectionSummaryIn this episode of the Anxiety Coaches Podcast, we delve into the concept of wabi-sabi, exploring how embracing imperfection can help alleviate the pressure of striving for perfection. The discussion begins with a reflection on the increasing societal demand for perfection, which can manifest as anxiety and feelings of inadequacy within us. We draw parallels to the music industry, where many artists are gravitating towards the raw authenticity of analog sounds versus the polished finish of digital production. This longing for imperfection invites us to question whether our pursuit of flawlessness is truly beneficial. The conversation encourages listeners to shift their perspective on imperfection, viewing it not as a failing but as a natural part of the journey of self-improvement. It posits that by letting go of the unattainable goal of perfection, we can open the door to self-acceptance and appreciate our experiences as ongoing, evolving processes. Our minds are profoundly shaped by our thoughts and where we choose to focus our attention, suggesting that by embracing imperfection, we can foster a more forgiving inner landscape.I emphasize the relief that can come from giving ourselves permission to simply be ourselves without the weight of perfectionism. The episode provides practical tips on recognizing our limits and establishing boundaries to support our mental health and well-being. It's crucial to incorporate self-care into our daily routines rather than sidelining our health for the sake of achieving more. By identifying our thresholds and maintaining those boundaries, we foster an environment in which we can thrive without succumbing to the pressure of needing to achieve perfection.#WabiSabi, #AnxietyRelief, #Mindfulness, #EmbraceImperfection, #MentalHealthMatters, #SelfLove, #SelfCare, #PersonalGrowth, #Perfectionism, #WellnessJourney, #PositiveAffirmations, #InnerPeace, #StressManagement, #MentalWellness, #SelfCompassion, #JapaneseWisdom, #Healing, #Authenticity, #GrowthMindset, #GraceAndGratitude, #AnxietyCoachesPodcast, #NervousSystemRegulation, #VagusNerve, #CalmMind, #OvercomingAnxiety, #PanicAttackRecovery, #MentalHealthAwareness, #EndTheStigma, #EmotionalWellness, #SelfHealing, #InnerCalm, #AnxietyWarrior, #Breathe #Gina Ryan #ACPSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
What if the path back to yourself wasn't about doing more…but about remembering what already brings you joy? In this episode, I'm joined by Laurie Smith, author of The Flow Habit, for a beautiful conversation on flow state, creativity, intuition, and the healing power of doing something simply because you love it. We talk about how flow isn't just reserved for artists, athletes, or peak performance moments. It can live in the small everyday moments too, in cooking, writing, dancing, creating, laughing with a friend, or doing something that helps you lose track of time and come home to yourself. Laurie shares how returning to writing for just 5–10 minutes a day during the pandemic changed everything for her, and how that simple practice grew into a global movement, a book, and a deeper understanding of what it really means to live in flow. We also explore the connection between flow, intuition, healing, childhood joy, and how this state can support us not only in the beautiful moments of life, but also in the hardest ones. In this episode, we talk about: ✨ What the flow state actually is ✨ Why flow is more accessible than we think ✨ How to begin, even if you feel distracted, overwhelmed, or disconnected ✨ The role of intrinsic joy and childlike curiosity ✨ Technology, overstimulation, and what pulls us out of flow ✨ Flow as a pathway to intuition, healing, and inner peace ✨ Laurie's journey of writing The Flow Habit ✨ Beautiful reminders for anyone who feels called to write, create, or share their voice This conversation is such a gentle invitation to slow down, follow your sparkles, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that have always known how to flow.
Have you ever wondered how to calm your mind while walking, reduce stress naturally, and reconnect with your spiritual awareness through simple daily practices? In this episode, we explore the powerful practice of mindful walking meditation for inner peace, emotional healing, and spiritual clarity. Walking meditation is one of the most effective ways to reduce anxiety, quiet negative thoughts, and reconnect with the present moment. Unlike traditional seated meditation, mindful walking meditation allows your body to move while your awareness deepens. This practice is used in many spiritual traditions and is now widely recognized for its benefits in stress reduction, emotional balance, and spiritual grounding. As you begin your walk, gently bring your awareness to your breath. Notice the cool air entering your nasal passages and the warm air leaving your body. Listen closely to the natural rhythm of your breathing. This simple act of breath awareness meditation while walking helps anchor your mind in the present moment. If your thoughts wander, gently guide your attention back to the sensation of your breath. Each breath becomes a reminder that healing, calm, and clarity are available in this very moment. As you continue walking, begin to observe the world around you with a deeper sense of curiosity. Look at the landscape carefully. Notice the patterns of light and shadow, the movement of leaves in the wind, and the subtle beauty that surrounds you every day. Mindfulness teaches us to shift our attention between the vastness of the environment and the small details of life. This practice helps awaken our sense of wonder and reconnects us with something deeper than everyday stress. During your walk, occasionally pause your thoughts and simply notice moments that inspire awe, gratitude, or emotional connection. These moments might appear in unexpected places—perhaps through a piece of music, a meaningful conversation, the sound of nature, or the beauty of sunlight filtering through the trees. These experiences are what psychologists and spiritual teachers often call “awe moments.” Research shows that experiencing awe can significantly improve mental well-being, increase compassion, and create a sense of spiritual connection with life itself. When you encounter these moments of awe, slow down and listen inwardly. Ask yourself what these feelings might be guiding you toward. Often, these subtle experiences help us reconnect with our intuition, purpose, and emotional healing. Mindful walking meditation is not just about relaxation—it is also about learning how to listen to your inner guidance and reconnect with the deeper wisdom within you. By practicing daily walking meditation for stress relief, emotional balance, and spiritual awareness, you begin to notice that life starts to feel lighter. Problems become clearer, decisions feel easier, and your mind learns how to move out of cycles of worry and into a place of quiet observation. This simple practice can become a powerful tool for spiritual growth, self-reflection, and emotional healing. In today’s episode, we explore how mindful walking can help you: • Reduce anxiety and mental stress naturally• Strengthen your awareness of breath and body• Experience deeper emotional clarity• Discover moments of awe and gratitude in everyday life• Reconnect with your intuition and spiritual awareness When practiced regularly, mindful walking meditation becomes more than just a technique—it becomes a way of living with greater presence, calm, and spiritual connection. Take your time on this walk. Let your breath guide you. Let the beauty around you awaken your awareness. And most importantly, allow yourself to listen deeply to the quiet guidance that emerges when the mind becomes still. Sometimes the answers we search for are not found through thinking harder—but through walking slowly, breathing deeply, and paying attention to the small moments that reveal life’s hidden beauty.

Our dialogue delves into the intricacies of anxiety and the underlying emotions that often fuel it. I invite listeners to reflect on their relationship with anxiety and how to discern the subtle messages it communicates.A significant focus of our discussion is the Hidden Emotion Model—a technique I learned and refined during my training that unveils the repressed feelings driving anxiety. Dr. Burns eloquently explains how individuals, often conscientious and "nice," suppress emotions like fear, anger, and disappointment, which leads to heightened anxiety. By recognizing and articulating these hidden emotions, individuals can often alleviate their anxiety significantly. Dr. Burns shares a compelling vignette involving a man struggling with panic attacks after receiving unexpected news about parenthood. This example illustrates the necessity of acknowledging uncomfortable emotions to pave the way for healing. Our conversation also touches on the societal stigmas surrounding emotional expression, particularly for those who identify as "nice" people. Dr. Burns and I explore how mental health diagnostics can inadvertently contribute to feelings of shame and inadequacy among patients. It's a powerful reminder that many who battle anxiety face not only internal struggles but external societal pressures that may dictate how they should feel or behave.#Anxiety, #PanicAttacks, #MentalHealth, #CBT, #DrDavidBurns, #AnxietyCoachesPodcast, #FeelingGood, #FeelingGreat, #Psychology, #Mindfulness, #SelfHelp, #Recovery, #Wellness, #Healing, #StressRelief, #InnerPeace, #MentalWellness, #SelfCare, #Therapy, #Coaching, #EmotionalIntelligence, #NervousSystem, #OvercomingAnxiety, #PanicDisorder, #SocialAnxiety, #MentalHealthAwareness, #EndTheStigma, #GrowthMindset, #Authenticity, #Boundaries, #SelfLove, #IntrusiveThoughts, #OCD, #HealthAnxiety, #MindfulLiving, #Breathwork, #Meditation, #Zen, #Spirituality, #PersonalGrowth, #Resilience, #Empowerment, #HealthyMind, #AnxietyRelief, #StressManagement, #Psychotherapy, #Counseling, #WellnessJourney, #LifeCoaching, #MentalHealthMatters, #AnxietySupportSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

In this episode, bestselling author and spiritual teacher Byron Katie shares her transformative method, The Work, a simple yet radical practice of self-inquiry that turns fear into clarity and stress into presence. From early struggles with agoraphobia to life-threatening moments, Katie shows how questioning your thoughts—through four precise questions—can dissolve anxiety, end mental “war,” and open a path to freedom and joy.We explore:How to identify stressful beliefs and test their truthRecognizing the body's reaction to unexamined thoughtsTurning “something terrible will happen” into grounded curiosityTransforming fear into gratitude and presenceReal-world applications in health, relationships, and everyday lifeKatie's approach reminds us that the ego is simply a frightened organizer of images and stories—and with attention, curiosity, and clarity, it softens. By the end of this conversation, you'll have practical tools to meet stress, heal old narratives, and return to a steadier, more peaceful self.

You're doing the journaling, the breathwork, maybe even the meditation...and something still feels like it's missing. Not because you're doing it wrong, but because no one ever taught you why the energy you're working with matters, or how to stop giving it away. This episode is for the person who is spiritually curious but over the cosmic chaos, and ready for something that actually sticks. Episode OverviewGayle Thomas is back, and this time, she's traded the big-stage channeling sessions for something arguably more useful: practical tools for building what she calls energetic sovereignty. As a trained channeler, healer, and international facilitator, Gayle has spent years working in expanded states of consciousness. But her work has evolved. Now she's focused on helping real people, including the next generation, develop the inner capacity to stay connected without losing their footing in everyday life.In this conversation, Will and Karen go deep with Gayle on why your attention is your most valuable asset, what Christ consciousness actually feels like versus what it sounds like, and why learning to manage your energy field might be the most practical self-development move you've never been taught. What grounds all of it: Gayle's own story. A cancer diagnosis. A meditation practice built out of necessity. A profound experience she still struggles to put into words. She's not teaching from theory. She's teaching from the other side of a very hard road.Key TakeawaysYour gut instinct is doing something real, and there's a specific reason modern life is wired to override it. Gayle explains what's actually happening, and why even how we raise kids plays into this.Christ consciousness isn't what most people think, and it has nothing to do with religion. Gayle describes it as a feeling of coherence, and she unpacks why that distinction changes everything about how you pursue it.Your aura isn't mystical decoration, it behaves. Gayle breaks down the difference between a strong, boundaried energy field and a "spongy" one — and why the latter explains a lot about chronic fatigue, emotional overwhelm, and saying yes when you mean no.Trying too hard is the block, for anyone who's attempted meditation, breathwork, or spiritual practice and felt like they were the one person it wasn't working for, Gayle offers a surprisingly logical explanation...and a workaround.Gen Z might be in trouble, and Gen X might be the fix. Gayle shares what she's observing in younger generations around connection, bliss, and attention, and why she's now training adults to bring these skills directly into schools and youth spaces. There's a specific first step into Christ consciousness, and it starts somewhere much simpler than you'd expect (hint: it's not a retreat or a ceremony).Who Needs to Hear ThisIf you've ever walked out of a party feeling inexplicably drained, said yes to something your body was screaming no to, or had one fleeting moment of genuine stillness and spent the next three years trying to get back to it...this conversation was made for you.Gayle doesn't ask you to believe anything. She asks you to get curious about your own experience first, and build from there. That's a rare posture in a space that tends to demand faith upfront.Especially relevant if you're raising kids right now and quietly wondering how to give them something the algorithm can't.Listen, Then Do One ThingPress play. When something lands — and something will — write it down before you move on to the next episode. This is the kind of conversation that reveals itself in layers, and the insight that feels small in the moment is often the one that changes something weeks later. If you missed Gayle's first episode, where she walks through her cancer diagnosis, her TARP channeling experience, and the moment that changed everything, you can catch up here:https://www.skepticmetaphysician.com/gayle-thomas-tarpNew listeners: start there. Returning listeners: this one picks up exactly where that one left off.

The 5D Academy with Zarathustra explores universal wisdom to foster total freedom from suffering in all areas of your life; health, wealth, love, and self. Each Academy podcast contains valuable insights and takeaways to become the best version of yourself and create an authentic, fulfilling life. Zarathustra transmits 5th Dimensional Quantum frequencies in each episode with transformational tools while discussing different topics to help you maintain this new frequency in your daily life. Zarathustra has created a practical system of transmitting the truth to his audience allowing transformation and freedom from suffering. Spiritual development requires an open heart. It is virtually impossible for a seeker to advance to higher consciousness if they don't love themselves. The belief system which has been ingrained in our cellular memory from childhood that we are not good enough results in a conditioned mind. The conditioned mind holds the false belief that there is something missing in our lives, that we are incomplete, that we need to gain something in order to become happy and whole, which is not true. After a life time of searching, Zarathustra has blended a practical system of Eastern and Western methods and techniques to help the Academy members to free themselves from anxiety, negative thoughts, lack of self-love and self-acceptance and destructive emotional patterns through a systematic way to raise your vibration to 5D Vibrational Frequency, which enables you to live a vibrant life of freedom and happiness. The Key Elements To Freedom: Zarathustra recognizes continuity and consistency are the key elements to freedom. In order to help you achieve your spiritual goals, it's best to have a highly effective spiritual practice, free of dogmas, false beliefs and superstition that helps you raise your vibration to 5D Vibrational Frequency as well as the ability to maintain this newly found higher level of consciousness. This translates to a life filled with inner peace, self-love and happiness which is the goal of every spiritual seeker. New knowledge and benefits are gained with each replay. Survivor to Thriver Show: Transform Your Fear Into Freedom with Samia Bano
Acts of worship like prayer and fasting are meant to bring us closer to the divine. But for many of us they can cause stress, guilt, shame, even fear, for example when you miss a prayer and think you'll go to hell because it is a grave sin to have missed the prayer...What if such fear, stress, guilt, and shame are actually blocking us from feeling closer to God? This episode dives into how shifting from anxiety-driven worship to love-centered #devotion transforms our #worshipexperience and fills our lives with happiness. We explore what it means that we were created to #worship God (as stated in the Quran, the Holy Scripture of the Muslims). This episode reframes worship as adoration—the highest form of love—and invites us to consciously deepen our #lovingrelationship with God.NOTE: This episode is a recording of a live that Samia did during #Ramadan2026. #Ramadan is the Muslim month of fasting. Mary Beth shares her self-limiting belief about using her retirement savings to fund three long-held dreams: writing a book, launching an invention, and stepping fully into spiritual healing. Julie guides her through refining the question in oneness, releasing ego urgency, and understanding that multiple dreams can coexist. You will learn how Spirit works in seasons, how to place visions into “time columns,” and why you do not have to choose just one path to move forward. This episode is a powerful reminder that fear of money often masks fear of time, overworking, and getting it wrong. Your higher self already knows the path. You will learn why oneness is the new way of healing, how to hold a higher vibration without taking on other people's pain, and how to rewrite the story that questions your intuition. You are not going crazy. You are learning to trust what God already placed within you. Solitude is not a punishment; rather, it is an essential practice that allows us to tap into our true selves amidst the chaos of everyday life. I highlight the importance of carving out alone time, regardless of whether you're an introvert, extrovert, or ambivert, because life's demands can easily overwhelm us, leaving little room for self-reflection.Reflecting on my recent experiences, I discuss how the pressures of daily interactions and responsibilities can lead to feelings of being swamped and disconnected from the present moment. I share my realization that, with so much external noise, I found myself bouncing between past regrets and future anxieties instead of embracing the here and now. This made me yearn for solitude, which I realized is a personal choice I must prioritize.I delve into the distinction between loneliness and solitude—where loneliness signifies a sense of disconnection, solitude allows for the opportunity to reconnect with oneself. By stepping away from the demands of our surroundings, we can better process our thoughts and gather clarity. I emphasize that retreats, whether they be for meditation or simply quiet time at home, serve as powerful catalysts for introspection.#AnxietyCoachesPodcast, #AnxietyCoaches, #ACPSolitude, #AlohaSpiritMindset, #AnxietyCoachesCommunity, #TheRichnessOfSelf, #LetTheDustSettle, #RespondingNotReacting, #ClearTheSlate, #SubconsciousBubbling, #AnxietyRelief, #Solitude, #MentalHealthMatters, #SelfCare, #Mindfulness, #PersonalGrowth, #InnerPeace, #MentalClarity, #Recharge, #SelfReflection, #WellnessJourney, #IntrovertLife, #PresentMoment, #Journaling, #EmotionalWellbeing, #StressRelief, #Healing, #SpiritualGrowth, #HealthyBoundaries, #AnxietySupport, #MentalHealthAwareness, #PanicAttackRecovery, #CalmYourMind, #ACP, #GinaRyanSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
