Im Interview mit meinem Geschäftspartner Christian Weber erfährst du, wie er selbst mit seiner kürzlichen Trennung umgegangen ist und welche Methoden ihm geholfen haben, um Gefühle wie Schuld, Traurigkeit, Schmerz und Wut besser zu verarbeiten. Er selbst arbeitet mit der Methode nach Byron Kathie und hat sich durch seinen Trennungsschmerz damit begleitet. So konnte er schneller loslassen, was sich schlimm und nach Ohnmacht angefühlt hat. Sicher macht das jeder von uns anders und erlebt die Trennung auch unterschiedlich. Manche kommen schnell durch diesen Prozess, andere brauchen mehrere Monate, manchmal Jahre. Da gibt es auch nicht das eine "Rezept" was für alle passt. Dennoch möchten wir dir in dieser Folge ein paar Dinge mitgeben, die dir in einer Trennungsphase helfen können, das es leichter für dich wird und du dich wieder schneller aufrappelst. In this episode of We Are Vineyard, Jay talks with Christian Weber about accepting Jesus into her heart at an AG church as a child, the freedom she felt when she walked into a youth group at the Sugar Land Vineyard, and the deep, lasting relationships she developed in that youth group. Christian shares about how she found herself planning events in the nonprofit sector as a teenager, and some of the things the Lord has spoken to her about a call to administration as a life of ministry. They discuss the importance of church staffs pursuing training in team dynamics and emotional awareness, and drop some Easter eggs about the 2023 National Conference coming up next summer in Colorado. Christian Weber is the Events Director and Executive Admin for the National Director. She grew up in the Houston area and started attending the Sugar Land Vineyard church as a teenager, where she first heard the phrases “the now and not yet” and “kingdom theology.”. Through her involvement in that youth group, the Holy Spirit captured her heart and she knew she found a home in the Vineyard. In 2005, Christian began working for Bert Waggoner, National Director for Vineyard USA at the time, as Events Director and Exec Admin, and she has continued to serve in this role for Phil Strout's tenure as National Director through to today. Jesus has given her a heart for the Vineyard and the pastors and leaders she gets to serve. Christian and her husband, Ben, met and married at the Sugar Land Vineyard where he was on staff as the Youth Pastor for about 8 years before becoming an attorney. They have three awesome children, Chloe, Atticus, and Ivy. When they aren't acting as a car service for said kids, they really enjoy concerts and great food! Über die grossen Highlights im Sport reden viele. Aber nur wenige kennen diese Events aus nächster Nähe. Im Podcast «Ufwärmrundi» blicken Insider auf das kommende Sport-Highlight voraus. Jede Woche neu. Aktuell: Die Eishockey Playoffs. «Ich liebe die Playoffs», sagte Fribourg-Verteidiger Philippe Furrer vorletzt im Interview. Er spricht damit vielen Spielern, Funktionären und Fans aus dem Herzen. Die Playoffs gelten im Eishockey als die beste Zeit der Saison. Trainings gibt es kaum mehr, nach den Spielen geht es sofort um Regeneration, um beim nächsten Spieltag wieder bei vollen Kräften zu sein. «Es klingt nach Floskel, ist es aber nicht. Die Spieler erholen sich, schlafen, essen und spielen in dieser Zeit nur noch», sagt Christian Weber. Der ehemalige Eishockeyspieler und heutige SRF-Experte weiss genau, wovon er spricht. Er wurde als Spieler Schweizermeister mit den ZSC Lions und hat auch als Trainer Playoff-Duelle erlebt. Die Playoffs gelten indes auch als härteste Zeit in Spielerlaufbahnen. «Es muss sehr viel passieren, dass ein Spieler in den Playoffs nicht spielt», weiss Weber. Er erinnert sich an eine Geschichte aus seiner Aktivzeit: «Wir hatten einmal einen Ausländer, der spielte in den Playoffs mit gebrochenen Rippen. Vor dem Spiel erhielt er vier Spritzen und in den Pausen jeweils noch weitere», erzählt Weber im neuen Podcast «Ufwärmrundi». Auch der Teamzusammenhalt sei laut Weber in den Playoffs wichtiger denn je. «Einmal gingen wir mit Erfolgscoach Larry Huras ins Kino, niemand wusste genau warum. Am nächsten Tag bemerkten wir dann, dass es um Teambuilding ging.» Weber erinnert sich, dass dieser Ausflug seine Wirkung zeigte: «Wir sprachen anschliessend viel miteinander und der Film wurde genau analysiert – so rückten wir zusammen.»

Je nach Kontext etwas anderes, sagt Christian Weber, promovierter Theologe und Studienleiter bei Mission 21. Die Geschichte der Auferstehung Jesu, die an Ostern gefeiert wird, werde beispielsweise in verschiedenen Ländern unterschiedlich verstanden. Das macht er an Kunstwerken fest, die er über viele Jahre gesammelt hat. So zeigt ein Holzschnitt aus Peru die Jünger Jesu mit Heiligenschein: Ostern mache sie zu Heiligen. Auf einem malaysischen Bild sind es ein Mann und eine Frau, die dem Auferstandenen begegnen. Eine indische künstlerische Interpretation der Geschichte zeigt einen Hindu und ein Moslem. Beiden gibt Jesus das Brot. Beliebig seien die Interpretationen aber nicht, sagt Christian Weber. Vielmehr zeigten sie, wie facettenreich die Botschaft der Bibel sei.

So many of them are actually friends while being competitors. There aren't a lot of other industries where that's common. They brew together, travel together, and drink together. They are also quick to jump in to help when someone is in need. Our accomplice today has experienced this first hand. When Christian Weber's Common Roots Brewing Co. went up in flames earlier this year, the last bits of fire weren't even out before brewers rushed in to help. Together with the local community, and beer fans from across the country, the brewery was able to set up a fundraising campaign that has kept employees going through the down time and to get Common Roots brewing again, all while building a whole new brewery. Sein Unternehmen, die Karlsbergbrauerei, ist im Saarland eines der bekanntesten Familienunternehmen. Dementsprechend waren und sind viele Augen auf ihn gerichtet. Im Gespräch erzählt er von seinem Werdegang und wie er mit seinem Vater die Übergabe geplant und durchgeführt hat. Christian spricht auch viel über das geänderte Wesen von Führung, und welches Menschenbild dahinter steht. Dem Begriff "Wertschätzung" kommt dabei besondere Bedeutung zu.
