On this episode of the Ungovernable Weekly Show: Mark Hughes joins us to discuss his backstory with the paranormal as well as his knowledge and view on Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO's). Marks Unexplained World & Mark the Medium Mark has been working with the paranormal for pretty much most of his life, which was first sparked off when, as a small child he lived in haunted house, where he witnessed all sorts of strange phenomena, including a spirit matron that visited all the homes on the same street. Since then, on his paranormal journey, he has witnessed all sorts of other strangeness, including, UFO's, missing time, levitation, a possible dogman, and a crying baby in the woods … that was heard, but never found. Today, he now works as a psychic medium and a podcaster. As a medium he uses Rune Stones, Oracle Cards, and the occasional Dowsing Rod or pendulum. As a Podcaster, he writes and produces a weekly show called “Marks Unexplained World,” which comes out every Monday afternoon/evening and looks into all sorts of strange phenomena under the heading of “The Unexplained.” On his show he also looks at human disasters, unsolved crime, and the occasional serial killers. --- Social media links.... The Bitcoin halving is now less than 24 hours away, and the space is fizzing with activity. Hardcore Bitcoin hodlers set a record day for moving BTC to accumulation wallets, price volatility is moving in the right direction, and Bitcoin's fees topped Ethereum's for the third day in a row. Part of the reason fees are so high and are about to go parabolic is Casey Rodarmor's new Runes protocol on Bitcoin, which launches with the halving. You will see mention of it everywhere over the coming weeks, so I will give you a succinct but comprehensive guide on what it is and why people are excited. Vad sägs om Climbers, Rocking Jupiters, Popcorns, Lurch's och Skibums? Det är bara att twista loss!  På bilden: Runestones från Stockholm.

US Navy veteran Dennis Medbury began writing as a device to help him sleep. After 14 years of service he had developed PTSD which led to insomnia. Rather than take medication he would start thinking up a story to help him sleep, changing characters and plots when he didn't like how they were going. Medbury describes it as The Secrets of the Runestones series is a product of me taking a debilitating condition and turning it into something positive. The characters are all dear to my heart. Writing fantasy involves a great deal of thought and research. Trade routes, monetary systems, government and religions are just some of the things you need to think about before you get to the fun stuff like swords and magic. I believe I put in the effort, and created a story that anyone can enjoy. We are happy to welcome him to the genie bottle!

In 1988, 17-year-old John Jones met 20-year-old Jason Rose at a mall in Oregon. John was a loner who wanted to be accepted, to fit in somewhere, to impress people. When he met Jason and they clicked, it was like a cult leader and cult follower dynamic. John didn't want to let Jason down. They shared similar interests, including the tabletop role playing game, Dungeons and Dragons. What they didn't have in common, Jason would teach John about. Such as vampirism and sacrifices. 19-year-old Melissa Meyer was from Seattle and had recently moved to Eugene, Oregon. She happened to meet John and considered him a true friend. Melissa didn't know John was more loyal to Jason than her and would soon guide her to her untimely death in a forested area in Springfield, Oregon.Confessions of Crime includes video of Jason and John demonstrating to a detective using a mannequin: https://youtu.be/iPoYPuESg0Q (GRAPHIC)Thank you to today's sponsor, Athletic Greens! Then, we have an extensive discussion about the evolution of deck building in board games - from first experiences like Dominion, Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, through developments involving games like Tyrants of the Underdark, Clank!: A Deck-Building Adventure, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle, Arctic Scavengers, Great Western Trail, Blackout: Hong Kong, Mombasa, Super Motherload, Famiglia, Grifters, Viscounts of the West Kingdom, Concordia, Transatlantic, Gloomhaven, Bloodborne: The Card Game, Cry Havoc, Shards of Infinity, Rune Stones, and The Taverns of Tiefenthal. We finish the discussion with kind of a back-and-forth discussion between Lost Ruins of Arnak and Dune: Imperium. Our ending discussion of games on the horizon includes Radlands, Carnegie, Root: "Militants" Expansion, and Oath: Chronicles of Empire and Exile.

Instead, fragments of stone, bark and bone found in the sites of ancient settlements provide the keys to their culture. Many of these objects are inscribed with Old Norse written in runic letters. Jesse Byock explores the ancient language. [Directed by Lisa LaBracio, narrated by Bethany Cutmore-Scott].

On this week's episode of Lost Origins, that's exactly what goes down. Andrew and CK are joined by Dr. Thomas Karlsson for a deep dive into the occult and Dr. Karlsson does not disappoint. Dr. Karlsson rips your two favorite nerds through his work, which explores the practice of the Uthark divination system encoded within the traditional exoteric Futhark system of reading the runes, his research that traces the relationship between the rune stones and numerology, the Cabbala, alchemy, Gothicism, and sigil magic, and how his years of experience examines the history of the runes and the ancient spiritual mysticism of Odin. Thomas Karlsson, Ph.D., is the founder of the esoteric order Dragon Rouge and Head of Ordo Draconias. He is the senior lecturer in history, religion, and philosophy at Stockholm University, fellow researcher at Yale University, and director of the Esoteric Crossroads conferences in Capri, Italy. The author of Cabbala, Qliphoth and Goetic Magic and Amongst Mystics and Magicians in Stockholm, he lives in Tumba, Sweden.

Episode 82 - Gamer Advice Introduction:    Zany Banter!! Return of a game…. Pai (asmodee) owns….  News: Rune Stones Rudiger Dorn and Queen. 6 days left and $45. Rune Stones is a deck-building, hand management game. In Rune Stones, every card has a unique number on it. Two cards are always played together, and the higher numbered card is removed from the player's deck. You have to be careful which cards you buy and how you play them to not lose your best cards. Players will use their cards to gather gems, forge them into Artifacts, then combine those into Rune Stones, which grants a special ability for the rest of the game. The more artifacts used in making a Rune Stone, the more points it scores, so players must decide whether it is best to gain abilities early or save to score more points. I have been involved with the Rune Stones for several years. After I was subject to a miracle in 2009,. My life changed 360 degrees. I began to make contact with the other side. I received messages with only single words, which I couldn't understand at first. As time went on I was sent to a web page on Rune Stones. They came to me quickly, with their words of wisdom, and truth. I use them in my life, and assist others who ask questions of them. I received new wooden stones from Mexico"s Palo Santa tree. ( the holy wood) recently. It was a gift from a wonderful Lady who was a medium. I did a reading for her, and she thanked me with a set of wooden pieces from that holy tree,(the Palo Santa)  I actually made them from the wood pieces I received as a gift from a wonderful medium, after doing a reading for her. They are called my Rose Woodies, and are very special. Their vibrations and energy are powerful tools for me to use. The Rune Stones always respond with truth, as there is no other answer, from the other side.

I have the ability to use the rune stones with persice accuracy. They are blessed, and given to me through the grace of the angels. and the lord. I was given the task of doing these stones to help people realize that the lord is here, and you only need ask with a full heart to get him to listen to your prayers, and difficulties. Keeping in minnnnnd that the LOrd does what is neccessary, whether we understand or not.and for the good of the greater plan he has for us. My special stones are called loving by me my " Rose Woodies"  They come from Mexico and were made from the holy wood  of the Palo Santo tree ( English translation )  Holy Wood A dear friend gave some to me after i did a reading forher. They are doubly blessed.

I became blessed by being shown a miracle in a hospital lobby in many ways. in 2009. I was dumb-founded as I said " why me?  I am only a mere mother, nurse, and always tired.)  I soon realized this was a tremendous gift, and i shoulllld follow through with it, and whehre ever it leads me. This changed my life in many ways. I started to meditate and after a while I asked the spirit world to tell me the name of my guardiaan angel. Every night before bed  I  asked that question  after meditating. " what is my guardian  angel's name." Then one night I seemed to be watching this old western movie in a dream, with Jimmie Stewart. My sister was with me watching it. A voice came to me (mind you I was asleep)  and asked in a quiet whispering voice, " what is the name of this movie?" I told her it was "Shenandoah" a wonderful movie we both watched every time it came on.as  I continues to watch the movie she asked me again, and again, and again, in the samesoft whisper. I should've gotten angry ,but for some reason I didn't. Finally she aked me again "what is the name of thi movie?" As I started to speak out loud causing me to wake up. As I spoke out  I was able to get ' Shannon-"-------- out of my mouthbefore I froze, and couldn't say anymore.I quickly grasped the concept and telled out loud, " Iget it, i get it,, your name is Shannon right?" I was given a resounding yes in my head. I  couldn't  sleep anymore knowing that I had just made contact with the other side, MY own guardian angel. From there it became routine, talking to them, or when one would come into my head and ask me to speak to another person,to say hi ,or to give them a message from the other side telling them hi,, or to do or not to do something.

Alf Herigstad, he was on the path to be a Pentecostal demon hunting preacher when he became a Norwegian Reality TV Star (Alt For Norge, Season 3) where he found the spiritual path of his ancestors and then becomes an Asatru Gothi. Not in this particular order necessarily, but you get the idea. I ask Alf to chat with me over mead and beers to teach me the ways of Norse Folk Life. Words like pagan, heathen, and diviner are discussed as I try not to shit my pants. I'm a former Christian for heaven sake; I'm not ready for this!  Haha, yeah right!
