Episode 166!? This week we are giving our thoughts on the last two episodes of the She-Hulk show! "She-Hulk," a new comedy series coming to Disney+, stars Tatiana Maslany as She-Hulk/Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who specializes in superhuman-oriented legal cases. "She-Hulk" will welcome a host of Marvel characters to the series, including the Hulk, played by Mark Ruffalo, and the Abomination, played by Tim Roth. Episode 8: "Ribbit and Rip It" Walters takes on a new case, representing Eugene Patilio / Leap-Frog, who wishes to sue Jacobson for giving him a faulty supersuit. Jacobson is represented by Matt Murdock in court, and wins the case due to Patilio inadvertently revealing that he disobeyed Jacobson's instructions for using the suit. Afterwards, Patilio contacts Walters asking for help against an unknown assailant. Walters arrives and battles the assailant, who she discovers to be Murdock as his superhero persona Daredevil. Murdock reveals to Walters that Patilio kidnapped Jacobson, and the two work together to rescue the latter before sleeping together. The next day, Walters attends the Southern California Law Awards gala, where she accepts a Female Lawyer of the Year award, but the gala is interrupted by an Intelligencia broadcast which smears Walters' reputation by displaying footage of her in bed with Miller. Briefly losing control, Walters goes on a rampage, destroying the gala stage and attempting to capture a nearby Intelligencia member, only to be apprehended by the Department of Damage Control (DODC). Episode 9: "Whose Show Is This?" Walters is released from DODC custody, but is forced to wear an inhibitor to prevent her from transforming, and loses her job at GLK&H. Nikki and Pug infiltrate an Intelligencia event, where they learn that Phelps is HulkKing and Blonsky as the Abomination is serving as a motivational speaker. Walters arrives at the event and confronts Phelps, who injects himself with her blood and transforms into a Hulk. After Titania and Banner unexpectedly appear in the ensuing fight, a confused Walters destroys her inhibitor and breaks the fourth wall to confront the show's writers in Marvel Studios: Assembled. She meets with K.E.V.I.N., an artificial intelligence that claims to be in charge of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's storyline decisions, and persuades it to rewrite the finale, to which it reluctantly agrees. Returning to her show, she finds Phelps and Blonsky have been arrested. While celebrating with her family and Murdock, Banner returns from Sakaar with his son Skaar. After regaining her job and being cleared of all charges, Walters vows to continue her work as a lawyer and a superhero. In a mid-credits scene, Wong breaks Blonsky out of prison and takes him to Kamar-Taj. “On your left…”The Marvel Cinematic Universe; the biggest pop cultural phenomenon since The Beatles, 22 and a half billion dollars at the box office, and we've found the one guy who doesn't have a clue what we're talking about! Can you believe we've made it to Ragnarok?! We are so close to Thanos and those damn Infinity Stones. We have just a couple more stops along the way and so today we're off to Sakaar to join Thor and Loki on another crazy Thor adventure. Remember, Colin hasn't seen a single trailer for any of these films so he's completely unaware of some of the rather large (and green) surprises in Ragnarok! And we've got to be honest, one of the guys still isn't over this week's trivia section. Yes we recorded this months ago but it is still brought up by the rather sore loser. Finale time as we chat about She-Hulk Attorney At Law Episode 9 "Whose Show Is This?" in our spoiler filled podcast. She-Hulk Attorney At Law Episode 9 "Whose Show Is This?" Synopsis She-Hulk Character co-created by: Stan Lee, Jack Kirby ,John Buscema Executive Producers - Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Jessica Gao, Kat Coiro Head Writer: Jessica Gao Episode Written by: Jessica Gao Episode directed by: Kat Coiro After the events at the gala, Jenn Walter finds herself in custody with the Dept Of Damage Control, but is soon released after a plea bargain by Mallory Book, which means Jenn must wear an inhibitor to prevent her from transforming into She-Hulk. With all the attention Jenn loses her job at GLK&H, and can't find work forcing her to move out of her apartment and back in with her parents where she plans to get justice against those responsible for invading her private life. However, with the torture of living at home, she decides to go to Blonsky's retreat to seek advice, after failing to gather any meaningful information on Intelligencia and the HulkKing. Nikki is more successful, after using an embarrassing college video, given to her by Jenn's mother, on the intelligentsia forums she receives an invite from the HulkKing to join a private gathering. She asks Pug along to infiltrate the event, which also takes place at Blonsky's retreat, and learns that Todd Phelps is the HulkKing. Jenn arrives at the retreat and stumbles upon the gathering. Blonsky is also present in his Abomination form, acting as a motivational speaker, though oblivious to Intelligencia's true goals. Walters confronts Todd, who injects himself with a substance containing her blood, turning himself into a Hulk. A fight ensues, as Titania and Banner also smash in unexpectedly. Confused by what is happening in the scene, Walters smashes the fourth wall and confronts the writers of the show. After not getting anything from the writer she heads for answers from Kevin Feige. Forcing her way in she meets K.E.V.I.N. (Knowledge, Enhanced, Visual, Interconnectivity, Nexus), an artificial intelligence claiming to be in charge of all Marvel Cinematic Universe storyline decisions. Jenn persuades K.E.V.I.N. to rewrite the climax of the episode so that she can get her ending, she isn't saved by Hulk, Emil is held accountable and Todd gets his day in court to answer for his crimes. K.E.V.I.N reluctantly agrees. Upon returning to the show, Jenn finds that Todd and Emil are arrested. She returns home to celebrate with her family and Matt Murdock, when cousin Bruce returns from Sakaar with his son Skaar. Some time later, having regained her job, She-Hulk attends her court case against Todd, and vows to continue her work as both a lawyer and a superhero. In a mid-credit scene, Sorcerer Supreme Wong breaks Emil Blonsky out of prison and takes him to Kamar-Taj. With Smart Hulk taking a little field trip into space via a Sakaarian space ship, Codey and Rob felt that now was as good of a time as ever to move a space down the Bruce Banner family tree and check out his firstborn son, Skaarrrrrrrr (in your best pirate voice). Born on Sakaar during the much acclaimed World War Hulk storyline, it could be time for Bruce to man up and be a fixture in the life of his son; if that's the direction that Marvel wishes to take him in the MCU. On the August 25, 2022 episode of /Film Daily, /Film editorial director Peter Sciretta is joined by /Film editor Brad Oman to have a spoiler-filled discussion about She-Hulk Episode 2 “Superhuman Law” Opening Banter: In The Spoiler Room: She-Hulk Episode 2 “Superhuman Law” FeedbackMatthew from Toronto, Canada writes in “You mentioned the possibility of bringing in Hulk's son. Since time runs differently on Sakaar, Hulk's son could already be an adult. As they showed in Thor: Ragnarok when Thor was behind Loki by just a few seconds but arrived several weeks after. There are some theories online that the MCU might be trying to set up World War Hulk. However, I'm speculating something a bit different in that Marvel will use Hulk's son for the Young Avengers. As there's a character among the Young Avengers called Hulkling. In the comics, he isn't the son of Hulk but a Super Skrull who shapeshifts mainly as a teenage Hulk. In the comics he is also the son of the original Captain Mar-vell and a Skrull princess, the heir to the Skrull Empire. I don't think that would work with the changes made with Captain Mar-vell and the Skrulls in the Captain Marvel movie. Making Hulkling the son of Hulk removes the convoluted backstory and means the MCU has one more character for some sort of Young Avengers project. Also it gives Hulk a new story arc that can be a sort of b plot in several Marvel Movies, rather than something as story heavy as World War Hulk which I think would require the Hulk to have his own movie.” Brief reactions Breakdown Speculation Also mentioned: All the other stuff you need to know: You can find more about all the stories we mentioned on today's show at slashfilm.com, and linked inside the show notes. /Film Daily is published every weekday, bringing you the most exciting news from the world of movies and television as well as deeper dives into the great features from slashfilm.com. Superheldenfilme. Was meinst du Plor?

A právě včas. It's our third minisode on the cinematic event of the decade/century/your life! On this episode, Syd shakes us to our cores with a theory about how Sakaar will play into Endgame, and Casey puts forth her formal theory on the plot of this movie that she seems wildly sure of despite the insane lack of new footage in the trailers. Sean answers your Marvel questions!00:36 Brian WhiteHi Sean. New Patron here. I am very curious in Avengers: Infinity War what became of half of the Asgardians. Thor pretty clearly states that Thanos and his Children murdered half of the Asgardians but they were all on that ship that Loki and Korg brought to Asgard from Sakaar. I've watched the movie several times and all I see is the ship being destroyed. Thanos did not have the Space Stone yet so do we assume that the Asgardians conceded to being transported somewhere on a ship that Thanos provides for them?02:34 Tom DeMicheleHey Sean and Patrons! First just wanna say I'm loving Discord and it's been fun connecting with you all. Thanks for cultivating this awesome community Sean!As was said on the Mid-week, we're looking forward to a Tony-and-Cap reunion as well as encounters between many other characters. If/when the Snapped characters return, do you foresee a Tony-and-Bucky encounter? How might the next interaction between these two play out? I assume they're both going to make it out of Endgame alive, so I do foresee their dynamic being resolved or at least revisited in some way.05:45 Woo S! KimIt's hilarious to me, how many of my questions have come out of the “Avengers: Infinity War” Roundtable discussion. Something that everyone of the directors has talked about is the willing of the general audience and the geek audience and it took a bit of time, for the non geek audience, but not much to realize for example Doctor Strange is very different from Spider-Man, which is very different from Guardians of The Galaxy, but they all of them took time place in a larger universe as we True Believers know. I, myself when I was young child didn't have a comic book shop near me, my point and my question to you Sean, is do you think that one of the keys to success of Marvel Studios for the last decade and going forward is that going to a Regal or a Cinemark watching all these films is the modern equivalent of going to your local comic book shop and getting sucked into what's going on with Ant-Man and The Wasp or Daredevil this week and wondering with great anticipation of what's going to happen with the next issue in three weeks? Is this apt comparison?09:32 Woo S! KimI recently heard on my buddy's YouTube channel that when Adam McKay met with Kevin Fiege, I don't know if it was McKay, but in my view, this had to be him because I don't think Feige would bring up this I.P. knowing the issues Feige had with this I.P. with Ike Perlmutter, Adam McKay said that in his meeting with Feige; The Inhumans was brought up in conversation, I have a lot of respect for Adam McKay, I thought he was a great writer on “Saturday Night Live,” I am not saying tomorrow or even in twelve months and I know this would not be your first choice for Mr. McKay, but do you think “Inhumans” on Disney Plus and Adam McKay as an executive producer and or Show-runner would be a good back door intro to Marvel's First Family or a good companion series when Fantastic Four makes their Marvel Cinematic Universe film debut why or why not?12:10 AlexDo you think the way to differentiate the MCU Charles Xavier from the Fox versions is to make the character a little less sagacious and a little more morally ambiguous? I like the Patrick Stewart version a lot but he kind of made Xavier a lot more likable and preachy than the controlling, strict, and demanding figure from the comics. You may disagree with my assessment of the comics character Sean, but I've read multiple X-Men comics and Xavier has always come across a bit of a jerk. Which I kind of like since it makes him more flawed than the all-knowing, warm, self-righteous character that tends to give long-winded morality speeches that both Stewart and McaVoy have portrayed in the past. 14:21 AlexDo you think 2018 was the best year ever for Spider-Man? Spider-Man was in Infinity War which was a hit, Spider-Man had a ultra successful videogame as well as an extremely well-received movie which is now considered another game-changer for animation as well as the rest of the superhero genre. I think 2002(the year the very first live-action Spider-Man movie was released in theaters) has been surpassed by a pretty large margin as the most important and best year for the character.16:04 Brandon ColemanFirst off, Happy New Year Sean and all others members! What Marvel comics are you currently reading? I've recently got deep into the current Fantastic Four and Captain America runs by Dan Slott and Ta-Nehisi Coates. I also really like the 1st issue of Miles Morales: Spider-Man. I recently started buying the comic issues and using the digital codes to read them on my phone. I was wondering what you would recommend to add to my current reading? Thank you and I look forward to your answer.17:54 Hector Giovanni NavarreteHi Sean and all my fellow Patrons!Do you think we will ever get a Black Cat in a Spider-Man film? I remember for ASM2 it was rumored that Felicity Jones was apparently supposed to play her but idk. Would you like to see that and if so who would you like to see play her?19:23 Hector Giovanni NavarreteDo you think Thor will feel "emasculated" when Carol shows up to AE or will he be welcoming/glad since he says, "There's nothing wrong with women, of course, I like women. Sometimes a little too much. Not in a creepy way, just more like a respectful appreciation."? Would you like to see any fun banter between these 2?20:58 AlexThe president recently said that he's willing to let the government shutdown go on for months, if not years. If the shutdown does indeed go on for that along then can see you see this preventing the ability for the Disney/Fox deal to close in anyway?22:03 Alex WardHey Sean! First of all, I'm loving the Discord so far. It's awesome to be able to engage with everyone about the shows and geek out about Marvel! I was just wondering if you thought it worth speculating that Marvel Games is working on a Fantastic Four game; they recently updated their logo to use a "4" for the "G" in "Games", but it doesn't look especially like a Fantastic Four logo.24:31 Alex WardI also wanted to ask about being proud of your fandom. You mention wearing Marvel shirts and hats, showing your marvel room when you have company over, watching Iron Man 3 as a yearly tree decorating tradition, etc., but maybe it's my friends just having no "nerdy" interests, but I always feel ashamed (maybe that's not the right word) about showing my Marvel pride or even getting nerdy stuff for Christmas, and the idea of getting my girlfriend to watch a Marvel movie unless it's in theaters is almost impossible. Not to make this a Dear Abby question, but did you ever have similar struggles embracing your fandom, and if so, how'd you learn to embrace it? Was it making connections through podcasts and social media? It's been a little helpful me to think about the fact that my friends nerd out about sports and music all the time just like I do for Marvel, but for some reason that's more socially acceptable. Again, it could just be my friends, so maybe being in the Discord community will help me embrace all this!33:43 Alex WardOh, and one more thing: are we getting close to, or are we already at, the point where interests in superheroes isn't nerdy anymore, but instead, dare I say it, cool?37:05 Michael bradleyHello Sean. In a previous Q & A You talked about your favorite seasons of superhero TV. I was wondering what are some of the ones you consider bad. Everyone can say Inhumans and Iron Fist season 1, but do you have any others? The season 4 of Arrow almost made me stop watching the show. And Arrow is my favorite CW show.38:38 Michael Louis WeaselboyHey Sean how is your weekend going?? My question is, how would you do a venom sequel with Tom Hollands Spiderman in the mix. I know you hate Venom but I heard Marvel might have to let Holland appear in the sequel for the Sony/Marvel deal to keep working. Thoughts? See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
