Exposure to mold toxicity affects hormonal balance. You may not have been exposed to mold or you may not know that you've been exposed to mold. That mold doesn't always look like asthma or you getting sick, but it may look like a simple symptom that might be mistaken for menopause. Stay tuned to this episode and learn what mold exposure can do, what it might feel like and why you might simply mistaken your menopause symptoms when they could be so much more! My Guest: Dr. Jaban Moore is a Doctor of Chiropractic located in Kansas City who works virtually with clients through functional medicine to assist them in overcoming chronic health conditions. He went from being an award-winning college athlete to not being able to get out of bed. He sought out countless doctors looking for answers, but doctors only gave him “band-aid” solutions. He was later diagnosed with Lyme disease. After overcoming this complex infection, he helped clients discover the causes of their symptoms. Dr. Moore specializes in Lyme disease, PANS/PANDAS, autism, parasitic infections, and environmental toxicities.   Questions We Answer in This Episode: [00:13:44] How does mold toxicity specifically impact hormonal balance during menopause? [00:18:45] What are the common symptoms women might experience if mold toxicity is impacting their hormones? [00:22:46] How can women identify if mold exposure is a hidden factor in their menopausal symptoms? [00:30:53] What detox strategies do you recommend for safely eliminating mold toxins from the body? [00:37:08] Are there specific biohacking tools or supplements you like that can support hormones during this detox process? [00:40:03] How long does it typically take to see improvements once mold toxicity is addressed?   Why Mold Toxicity Affects Hormonal Balance More Than You Think   What Mold Exposure Can Do? Fungus that grows on walls, food, flooring, etc. Beauty products, Botox, and lifestyle toxins contribute to a decreased immune system. Disrupts mitochondria, elevates cortisol, blocks melatonin. May cause exercise intolerance due to “backpack of toxins”.   Symptoms of Mold Toxicity Chronic fatigue, weight gain, anxiety, GI issues, hormone imbalances Can trigger inflammation, autoimmune responses Mold symptoms are often mistaken for menopause   Dr. Moore's Detox Roadmap Replenish nutrients (glutathione, potassium, sodium, B12) Open drainage (lymph, liver, bowels) Safe place - remove environmental toxins (air, food, water, hygiene products, dental and implants) Nervous system - address stress and trauma (therapy) Start detox using antimicrobials + binders (e.g., carboxy, pectasol) How long will it take? Mold detox alone: typically 3–4 months More complex cases: can take years Depends on sensitivity and co-infections   Biohacking Tools That Work Infrared Sauna (160°F+) Red Light Therapy Lymphatic Drainage Castor Oil packs, dry brushing More advanced: Ozone Blood Filtering (EBOO), Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy (PEMF), Neural Therapy  Most aren't required, but they speed up recovery   Connect with Dr. Jaban: Website of Dr. Jaban Moore Facebook - Dr. Jaban Moore Facebook Group - True Healing Strategies with Dr. Jaban Instagram - Dr. Jaban Moore Instagram - @redefiningwellnesscenter_ Tiktok - @drjabanmoore_   Other Episodes You Might Like: Previous Episode - What Is Sarcopenia and How to Avoid Sarcopenia In Menopause Next Episode - Retired Lawyer Shares How to Advocate for Yourself & Loved Ones More Like This - How to Use Stress as a Tool for Hormone Balance   Resources: Don't know where to start? On today's episode of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words,” Hanson breaks down the absurdity of the outrage and exposes the real history of eugenics—hint: it doesn't come from the Right. “ We have all sorts of models that pose for jean commercials. American Eagle have had black women, people, Hispanics, everybody. And do you remember the ad by Levi's for Beyonce? Levi's has her portrayed with a cowboy hat, a yellow wig, and in a country-western setting with Levi jeans. … Nobody objected, nobody said, ‘Beyonce is objectifying whiteness because, as an African American, she's got a blond wig on.'”  “ A final warning or a piece of advice from Aristotle: We act to beauty by proportion and mathematics. As I said, Beyonce is beautiful, not because she's black or not because she's not white, or Sydney Sweeney is beautiful, not because of her skin color, but because she has, as Aristotle would say, perfect symmetry. And that's a universal idea.”

Top Ten from 2024: #1 Stories Series: Prodigal and Redemption with Renee Endress   **Transcription of original episode**  237. Stories Series: Prodigal and Redemption with Renee Endress   Isaiah 61:1-3 (KJV) "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified."   Questions and Topics We Cover: Will you tell us a bit about your experience of surrendering your life to Christ? Will you share your journey with your prodigal daughter, Andrea? Will you tell us about Grace Catering and your cookbooks?   Renée Endress is blessed to be the mother of seven children ranging from 16-32 years old, all of whom she homeschooled. Four of the seven are married and her six precious grandchildren bring her much joy and laughter! She is also part of a church family she loves and her dear parents passed on to her a love of sunsets, flowers, and the beauty of God's creation.   Cooking has been a passion for much of her life and she's written three cookbooks, which were later combined into one large book. For the past ten years, she enjoyed catering, which kept growing and eventually blossomed into an almost full-time job. A couple years ago, she refurbished a building in Peoria, Illinois, which is now her catering kitchen where they make homemade take and bake meals for people to purchase. Through it all, God has been so good!   Renée says, "I could share just the pretty parts of my life, but I've come to realize that something special can happen when people are real with each other -- when we share the muddy parts of our lives as well as the lovely parts. This can be used to encourage each other on the journey, and most of all, to point to the faithfulness of our amazing Savior, who loves to redeem our mud stories.   My story looks much different than my idealistic hopes for my future as a young woman, but through it all, God has been faithful every single step of the way. He was faithful in teaching me as an immature newlywed struggling through some very difficult relationship situations. He was faithful as I walked, tripped, and floundered with a daughter through some very dark teenage years, deep rebellion, ten months at a residential facility for troubled teens, and a teenage pregnancy. He was oh, so faithful when my difficult marriage of twenty-four years turned more and more destructive and led to an ongoing separation. He was faithful two years later when I was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent two surgeries and radiation treatments. He has been faithful through ten years of "single" motherhood. He was faithful as He opened doors for me to start a thriving catering business at the perfect time. He was faithful when He allowed me to be a part of starting "Beauty for Ashes," a group for women from my national church who have come from painful marriages. As I look back on my life, I see plainly His footprints all the way through.   These verses have been so meaningful in my life: "...He hath sent me (Jesus) to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound... to comfort all that mourn... to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified." Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession- to the praise of his glory.”   Ephesians 1:15–23 “For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.”   Ephesians 2:8–10 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God‘s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.“   Ephesians 2:13 “But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.“   Philippians 1:6 “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Jesus's words in the fifteenth chapter of the Gospel of John are so much more powerful when you're the owner of a vineyard; when you witness the grapes growing on the vines and tend to its spiraling branches. For the Savaryn family of Waconia, Minnesota, their vineyard, Sovereign Estate, is an everyday living out of, "I am the vine and you are the branches".  While California produces over 80 percent of the wine output in America, the 30-acre vineyard that sits on the banks of Lake Waconia in the south central part of the North Star state, is a testament to the legacy of the Savaryn clan's core values: Faith, Family, Beauty and Excellence. It's also a dynamic part of what has become a $325 billion dollar industry in the United States: Wine and the making of it. Some of Sovereign's wines have even won international awards and competitions. On this episode of Lighthouse Faith podcast, Terri Savaryn, the co-founder and owner along with her husband Paul, talks about the faith that built the vineyard; how Paul's father, a doctor and immigrant from Ukraine, started a hospital and bought up farm property on the shores of one of Minnesota's 10,000 lakes. And how it turned out that the elevation was perfect for vine growing. But most of all, how Sovereign is not only how their name is pronounced, but what God's presence means in their lives: He is Sovereign. Learn more about your ad choices. Tally Koren arrived in London with one suitcase and a dream in the late 90s. Against all odds she became an international singer/songwriter. Despite family objections and countless music business rejections, what kept her going was turning every minus to plus, taking every refusal to become better, and every hard situation to do something good to herself and others. Her turning point to fulfill her childhood dreams and to become a singer happened at the age of 26, while she was in a very unhappy marriage. A singing teacher immediately recognised her talent and thought that her low voice is reminiscent of Karen Carpenter. In 2007, Tally made the decision to make her first album and not to wait for the record company. Despite one of the top radio people telling her that she doesn't have a chance to make it nationally because she was over 40, she made the choice to listen to the words of her song “Beauty of the Duty" saying that “the only thing that holds you back is you.” Her song became a national success on BBC radio three weeks later. Many of her other singles have been playlisted with over 1000 radio stations in the UK and around the world. She has performed at the Royal Albert Hall, The National Arboretum, The Belgrade Theatre, Pizza on the Park, Pizza Express, The JW3, Electric Carousel, The Soho Revue Bar, the Forum (Kentish Town), Tate Britain to Celebrate William Blake's birthday, The House of Lords, and opening a football match at the MK Dons Stadium. Her music has been featured in films and television advertisements. Her purpose in life is to inspire people to do what they love. Tally says: “For me, free will is not just a song; it's a journey about resilience, commitment, and my life purpose to inspire people to make the best choices in life, have the courage to go for their dreams, never give up, and take every rejection to become better.” At 61, she still is releasing new music and teaching children how to express themselves through songs.Learn more and follow her: www.tallykoren.comhttps://www.facebook.com/tallykoren/https://twitter.com/tallykorenhttps://www.youtube.com/user/tallykorenwww.instagram.com/tallykoren

With rising dairy intolerance and the popularity of plant-based alternatives, it's easy to wonder if milk still belongs in our diets.Traditional dairy like yogurt, kefir, and cheese have nourished cultures for thousands of years, yet modern processing may play a role in today's issues.Joining me is Dr. Bill Schindler, archaeologist, primitive technologist, and chef, who studies ancestral diets and runs the Modern Stone Age Kitchen. Together, we unpack whether dairy is truly “bad” for you, why dairy intolerance is on the rise, and what you can do to better tolerate dairy. ⭐️Mentioned in This Episode:- See all the references

It's hard to gain perspective and see beauty in the middle of the mess. But that, my friend, is where beauty is built—one moment at a time.  We want things tidy. We want order. We want harmony. Although they are possible to achieve, the journey is where true beauty is discovered while we traverse each day.  There is value in the mess, and God uses it to build family bonds that last a lifetime.  Remember, Motherhood is the ministry of showing up. God is looking for your willingness and obedience, not your perfection.  "Beautiful things are rarely tidy. They are built over time. Sown in mess, grown with grit, and harvested in faith." Are modern churches too ugly to be holy? In this video, we respond to Redeemed Zoomer's critique of modern church architecture and the loss of beauty in today's worship spaces. While many Christians long for the awe-inspiring beauty of cathedrals and historic sanctuaries, we unpack the deeper question: Does a church need to be beautiful to be holy?We react to Redeemed Zoomer's arguments and explore the theology of beauty, why aesthetics matter, and where they fall short when separated from Christ-centered truth. Can a warehouse church still be sacred ground? Does God care more about stained glass or surrendered hearts? This video speaks to new Christians, skeptical seekers, and anyone wrestling with modern vs traditional Christianity. If you're curious about why churches look so different today and whether that's a problem, this conversation is for you. We aim to build up faith, encourage thought-provoking discussion, and point to Jesus as the ultimate source of beauty and transformation.Enjoy!Got any questions or topics you'd like to hear about? On this episode of The Unfinished Print, a mokuhanga podcast, I speak with printmaker Kay Watanabe. Kay has spent many years splitting her time between Australia and Japan, and in doing so, she's developed her mokuhanga and other print work across two distinct cultural landscapes. We discuss what it means to create in those two different spaces under different circumstances and how Kay navigates this duality, we also discuss her love of washi, the way she develops her prints, and how mokuhanga fits into her broader artistic process. He made his prints with an esoteric fervour where his philosophies about mokuhanga were just as interesting as his print work.  Helen Frankenthaler (1928–2011) was a prominent American abstract expressionist painter known for her role in the Color Field painting movement. Her innovative technique involved staining unprimed canvas with thinned oil paint, creating a distinctive luminous effect. "Mountains and Sea" (1952) is a notable example of her influential work. Frankenthaler's contributions have left a lasting impact on postwar American art. Frankenthaler began to make woodcut prints in 1973 and was influenced by Utagawa Hiroshige (1797–1858).  More info about her prints can be found at  the Frankenthaler Foundation, here. Our Summer 2025 series, Beside Still Waters, focuses on the places where creativity brings life into a world fatigued by brokenness and division. From jazz to Jane Austen and in between, this season we'll focus on the ways literature and the arts can refresh and challenge our inner lives—and connect us with the Creator of the good, the true, and the beautiful. In this episode, our guides are modern hymn writers Keith and Kristyn Getty. Back in 2019, we hosted a live Evening Conversation in which they explored the ways in which music can speak to our spiritual hunger and shape our sense of beauty, truth, and purpose: "Our singing doesn't just affect each one of us. We are a witness to the world around us. When we sing, we are always a witness."We hope this conversation will resonate with you as you explore the good, the true, and the beautiful in your own corner of creation. If it does, please consider joining the Trinity Forum community as a member, at ttf.org.
