The Key to Cardiovascular Health and Longevity: Exploring Nitric Oxide, Part 1

Nitric Oxide Explained: Vascular Health, Exercise Performance, and N1o1 with Dr. Nathan Bryan, international Leader in Molecular Medicine, the first to describe nitrite and nitrate as indispensable nutrients required for optimal cardiovascular health. He details NO as a ubiquitous messenger affecting blood flow, erectile function, cognition, exercise performance, endothelial dysfunction, and aging-related declines in NO production. Bryan explains why PDE5 inhibitors like Viagra prolong cyclic GMP signaling but don't fix NO deficiency, and why beet products often fail due to variable nitrate content and inadequate dosing. He outlines his NO lozenge approach that generates NO gas from sodium nitrite and magnesium ascorbate, plus a fermented beet powder drink (NOBeets), and emphasizes the role of oral bacteria (and harms of antiseptic mouthwash/fluoride) in nitrate conversion. They review published endpoints, including flow-mediated dilation, blood pressure effects, inflammation markers, triglycerides, stem cells, plaque regression, applications to Alzheimer's, glaucoma/microvascular disease, safety/dosing considerations, risks of arginine supplementation, and a dual-chamber topical NO serum developed from wound-healing experience.

Hematopoietic stem cells make blood across the lifespan, but they do not all behave the same way. Stephanie Xie, Ph.D., Scientist at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, University of Toronto, examines how these rare cells self-renew, differentiate, and respond to inflammatory stress, asking whether differences in the stem cell pool help explain why aging affects people so differently. Xie identifies two hematopoietic stem cell subsets, including one that retains inflammatory memory after stress recovery, and connects this state to aging, clonal hematopoiesis, sickle cell disease, post-COVID recovery, and mortality risk markers in blood. Her research also raises questions about whether targeting the inflammatory environment, including through GLP-1 receptor agonists or metformin, could help mitigate clonal hematopoiesis. Understanding these patterns could clarify how inflammation shapes blood production, cancer risk, and immune health over time. What if a single peptide could reset thousands of the genes that age you? GHK copper has been quietly running most of your regenerative biology since the day you were born. And by 60, more than half of it is gone.In this deep dive, Dr. Joy Kong, the Stem Cell Queen and a triple board-certified regenerative medicine physician, walks through the science of GHK copper: a naturally occurring three-amino-acid peptide bound to a copper ion, first identified in 1973 by Dr. Loren Pickart, who observed aged liver cells regaining youthful function after exposure to young human plasma. The episode covers GHK copper's two primary mechanisms (copper delivery and gene-level bioregulation capable of shifting thousands of human genes back toward youthful expression) and its application across skin remodeling, wound healing, hair growth, neuroprotection (BDNF support, neural inflammation, anti-anxiety effects), ATP production, mitochondrial function, and stem cell reactivation. Dr. Joy reviews practical methods including topical formulations, subcutaneous injection, microneedling combinations, cost considerations, stability with other actives like vitamin C, and the protocols she uses in her own clinical practice at Chara Health in Los Angeles.GHK copper is one of the few peptides shown to switch dormant stem cells back into active proliferation, support the brain against oxidative damage, and rebuild skin from the dermis up. It works at the gene level, which is what makes it different from nearly every other anti-aging compound on the market. If you've been curious about peptides but overwhelmed by the marketing, this is the breakdown to start with.✨ Shop CharaOmni, my stem cell skincare line: https://www.charaomni.com/ Dr. Joy talks about:00:00 What GHK-Cu Does in the Body01:15 GHK-Cu Discovery: Dr. Loren Pickart, 1973, and Why Levels Crash by 6002:10 The Two Mechanisms: Copper Delivery and Genetic Bioregulation03:45 GHK-Cu for Skin, Wound Healing, and Hair Growth05:55 GHK-Cu for the Brain: BDNF, SOD1, and Anti-Anxiety Effects07:25 GHK-Cu for ATP, Mitochondria, and Stem Cell Activation08:40 Topical, Subcutaneous, and Microneedling Protocols11:15 Cost, Stability, and the Vitamin C InteractionAdditional Resources✨ Visit My Clinic: Chara Health

Pre-cancer and cancer can begin when stressed blood-forming stem cells lose their normal controls. Catriona Jamieson, M.D., Ph.D., UC San Diego, explains how inflammation-linked editing enzymes, repetitive elements in the genome, and stem cell stress shape the progression from myeloproliferative neoplasms to acute myeloid leukemia. Jamison examines how spaceflight accelerates stem cell aging, how some astronauts mobilize a resilient regenerative stem cell population, and how tumor organoids in space help reveal drug responses by activating the enzyme ADAR1. This work helps explain how cancer starts, why it can return, and how space-based research may speed the development of therapies that stop malignant stem cells before disease advances. MUSE cells are one of the most exciting breakthroughs in regenerative medicine — and most people have never heard of them.Hidden inside your own tissue is a rare, elite subpopulation of stem cells that can find injury, eat damaged cells, and become them. Discovered in 2010 by Dr. Marie Dezawa at Tohoku University in Japan, they are now one of the most talked-about developments in regenerative medicine. And for good reason.Dr. Joy Kong, the Stem Cell Queen, breaks down the science from the ground up: why conventional stem cell sources like bone marrow and fat-derived cells have real limitations, what makes umbilical cord cells a significant upgrade, and why MUSE cells represent something fundamentally different. These cells home into damaged tissue like a guided missile using the S1P pathway, eat the damaged cells, absorb their DNA fragments, and transform into the exact cell type that needs replacing. They carry zero tumor risk, require no donor matching, and get stronger the harsher the environment they're placed in. Dr. Joy also shares her own personal experience using MUSE cells for a chronic hip issue — and the result that surprised even her. This episode covers the full history of stem cell therapy, the biological mechanisms that make MUSE cells unique, the Goldilocks ratio for optimal treatment, what clinical use looks like today, and why this technology — though newer — carries extraordinary promise for the future of regenerative medicine. If you are in your 50s or 60s and wondering why your body isn't healing the way it used to, MUSE cell therapy may be the answer.

If Part 1 was about the field of sexual medicine, Part 2 is about the marriage at the center of it. Dr. Jenni Skyler and Daniel Lebowitz return to their conversation with Dr. Irwin and Sue Goldstein, and this time, the questions get more personal. How do you stay married for fifty years? What does great sex actually look like across the decades? And what happens when a woman who has spent her career in sexual medicine starts experiencing low desire herself? Sue Goldstein opens up about her own journey through peri-menopause and the slow erosion of her libido- what she calls "duty sex", and the medications that brought not just her sex drive back, but a playfulness in her marriage she hadn't realized had gone missing. She walks listeners through her menopause toolbox of five treatments, explains why she's "76 and feels like she's in her 50s", and dismantles the lingering fears from the Women's Health Initiative that have kept generations of women in what she calls hormone prison. Dr. Irwin shares his own daily protocols for sexual health, why he believes most older men are leaving capacity on the table, and the surprising data from their own clinic- that more than half the Vyleesi prescriptions they write are off-label for men. They explore why dopamine is dopamine, regardless of gender. The reality of persistent genital arousal disorder. And a remarkable story of a teenage horseback rider whose chronic arousal turned out to be a herniated disc. This episode is full of practical wisdom, clinical innovation, and one of the most real conversations about long-term love you'll hear all year. The Goldsteins' secret to fifty years of marriage? Your body already knows how to heal itself. The question is whether anyone is giving it the right signals.Dr. Adeel Khan trained as a conventional physician before following a thread most doctors ignore: what if we could restore the system, not just manage the symptoms? That thread led him through sports medicine, global laboratories, stem cell research, and a fundamental rethinking of what aging actually is at the cellular level. In this conversation, Dr. Khan explains why most clinics calling themselves "stem cell" providers aren't offering what they claim, what MUSE cells actually do differently, why the US regulatory environment has kept these therapies out of reach — and what's quietly changing. He also pulls back the curtain on peptides, mitochondrial repair, and the emerging field of proteomics that may finally give us real data on how well these interventions work. The future of medicine may not look like treatment at all. What if the secret to anti-aging isn't found in an expensive IV drip, but is already sitting dormant inside your own bone marrow? In this incredible episode of Beauty Bytes, I sit down with Christian Drapeau, a neurophysiologist and the pioneer behind StemRegen, to discuss the revolutionary science of endogenous stem cell mobilization. Christian explains how stem cells act as your body's innate repair system, and why the natural decline of these cells in our 30s is the fundamental driver of aging and disease. We do a massive deep dive into the difference between exogenously injected stem cells—which often get trapped in your lungs and act mainly through exosomes—and releasing your own stem cells, which can actually migrate and engraft into damaged tissues to rebuild them. We explore the specific plant-based phytonutrients, like Klamath Lake blue-green algae and sea buckthorn berry, that can safely trigger the release of millions of stem cells into your bloodstream. Christian also breaks down the critical importance of microcirculation, how a three-day fast rejuvenates your stem cell pool, and the single surprising trait that all supercentenarians share. If you want to tap into your body's ultimate bioregenerative power, this is a must-listen!  Guest Information:Christian Drapeau is a neurophysiologist, stem cell researcher, and the creator of StemRegen. You don't need to spend tens of thousands of dollars on exotic injections to heal your body. You already possess the ultimate, built-in repair system: your own stem cells. The problem? By the time you reach your mid-30s, the red marrow in your bones converts to fatty marrow, leading to a staggering 90% drop in circulating stem cells. In this episode, stem cell scientist Christian Drapeau reveals the exact mechanisms behind human aging and how disease is simply a failure of endogenous repair. We discuss the clinical data proving that a 3-day fast triggers massive stem cell proliferation. We also decode 3,000-year-old Chinese medicine secrets, revealing the specific plants—like Fo-Ti, Goji Berry, Sea Buckthorn, and Blue-Green Algae—that actively mobilize stem cells from your bone marrow and drive them directly into injured tissues. Is what's happening on OnlyFans real? Or is it only a fantasy? In this provocative investigation into OnlyFans—the adult platform where subscribers around the world spent more than $7 billion in 2024—journalist Leon Neyfakh teams up with comedian and OnlyFans creator Gracie Canaan for a one-of-a-kind exploration into the current state of human connection. Throughout, they discover that the site originally built for spicy adult content has quietly and surprisingly become something more complicated— an emotional marketplace where desire, performance, care, fantasy, and vulnerability seemingly blur together. As Neyfakh and Canaan navigate timely questions about autonomy, performance, and profit, a question emerges: is connection mediated by a screen still authentic? To find the answer, they meet creators building lucrative businesses, subscribers who believe they've found something real, professional “chatters” who are paid to simulate affection, and pioneers who have helped engineer intimacy at scale.Captivating and tender, OnlyFantasy is ultimately about the cost of loneliness, the seductive power of desire, and how the rules of human intimacy are being rewritten online.Listen to OnlyFantasy wherever you get your podcasts. The Truth About Stem Cell Therapy for Autism: MSCs, Sourcing, and What Actually Works | #183

Most psychiatric treatments for autism don't address what's actually happening underneath the diagnosis. They subdue. They don't repair. In this episode, I sit down with Karen Thomas of Naturally Recovering Autism to break down what stem cell therapy can actually do for children on the spectrum.Children with autism show impaired central nervous system circulation, active neuroinflammation on brain autopsy, and higher rates of autoimmune patterns in their families. Mesenchymal stem cells, MSCs, address all three at once. They stimulate angiogenesis to restore blood flow and oxygen to the brain, suppress pathological immune responses, reduce neuroinflammation, and secrete factors that activate the body's own local stem cells. I share a clinical case of a seven-year-old who went from diaper-bound and non-verbal to verbal, continent, and climbing stairs after a single IV treatment with birth-tissue-derived cells. We also get into why not all MSCs are created equal, why 200 million expanded cells overseas often underperform 20 million original cells, what the FDA's Section 361 actually means, and how I sourced and built the cell product used in my clinic through Chara Biologics. We close on why no stem cell protocol works in isolation. Diet, detox, nutrient status, and exercise are part of the protocol, not optional add-ons.If your child is on the spectrum, or you work with families who are, this is the mechanism and sourcing breakdown most parents never get.Joy talks about:00:00 What stem cell therapy actually is05:37 The three mechanisms underlying autism08:46 How MSCs restore oxygen to the brain10:54 From non-verbal and diaper-bound to talking and walking stairs16:25 Why your own bone marrow cells may not be the answer19:58 Are all MSCs created equal21:55 FDA Section 361 and what's legal in the US23:34 Why 200 million expanded cells underperform 20 million original27:39 Inside the sourcing and 89-question donor screening43:42 Why diet and detox decide whether stem cells workAdditional Resources✨ Listen to Naturally Recovering Autism with Karen Thomas: https://naturallyrecoveringautism.com/ ✨ Karen's free four-stage webinar for parents: https://naturallyrecoveringautism.com/freeworkshop Visit My Clinic:

Hello voices from the bench community, John Wilson here and I wanted to share some news about the evolution of the Programill lineup. Most importantly, Ivoclar's new PrograMill 7. What stands out right away is the reduced air consumption this mill requires, but what you'll notice first is that impressive new touchscreen. For us, the biggest advantage has been increased spindle power. My laboratory's known for these larger cases with complex geometries, and I can tell you that extra power really makes a difference. Next time you see your Ivoclar representative, be sure to ask about the PrograMill 7 and tell them John Wilson sent you. Thank you. At exocad Insights in beautiful Mallorca, we finally caught up with Felix from Imagine USA—and the timing couldn't have been better. As an exocad dealer on the front lines of digital dentistry, Felix shared his excitement about the strong turnout, the familiar faces, and most importantly, the innovation coming from exocad. What stood out most? The new exocad Hub and its cloud-based capabilities, along with powerful AI-driven tools inside DentalDB designed for efficient batch processing. For Felix and the Imagine team, it's not just about seeing what's new—it's about putting it to the test. By running new features through their own production facility first, they ensure real-world performance before bringing solutions to their customers. Beyond the technology, Felix emphasized the value of being there in person—connecting face-to-face with partners, having meaningful conversations, and stepping back to see where the industry is headed. And of course, doing it all in Mallorca doesn't hurt either. This week at the Dental Laboratory Association of Texas Meeting 2026, the microphones stayed hot as three completely different conversations all circled around the same thing: how fast the dental lab industry is evolving. First up, the crew sat down with Tony Aliatim from Axis Dental Milling to talk about going from biomedical engineering and printing silicone heart models for surgeons… to becoming one of the go-to names in dental milling. From industrial machining roots in Michigan to AI-powered calibration systems and Straumann plug-and-play workflows, Tony breaks down how VersaMill machines are helping labs mill everything from zirconia to implant abutments faster, smarter, and safer. Along the way, the conversation dives into HyperDent, trade show madness, wet vs dry milling nightmares, and why dental technicians may not realize how close this industry really is to aerospace-level manufacturing. Then things shifted from mills to maintenance with Rebekah Serrago and Chris Wilson from Garland Dental Services. What started decades ago as a garage-based repair business fixing handpieces has grown into one of the industry's best-kept secrets for equipment sales, service, and support. Rebekah shares the story of growing up folding flyers for her father's repair company before eventually becoming CEO and expanding Garland into a massive online sales and service operation supporting everything from ovens to mills. Chris joins in to talk preventative maintenance, service certifications, keeping ancient ovens alive, and why labs desperately need dealers that actually understand the equipment they sell. It's equal parts family-business story, repair shop wisdom, and hilarious behind-the-scenes dental lab banter. Finally, the future officially arrived when the podcast crew sat down with Antoine Coppens from Relu and orthodontic lab owner Christian Saurman of New England Orthodontic Laboratory. What started as four engineering students experimenting with AI in Belgium somehow turned into fully automated dental workflows capable of designing surgical guides, night guards, models, and restorations in minutes. The conversation explores how AI is reshaping lab workflows, reducing manual design time, integrating directly into LMS systems, and even learning individual lab preferences. Christian explains how his custom-built orthodontic lab management system helped eliminate workflow chaos and automate huge portions of production, while Antoine gives a fascinating look into where dental AI is headed next. Between AI-generated appliances, automated scan checks, and self-learning workflows, this episode feels less like science fiction and more like a preview of what labs will look like over the next five years.Special Guests: Antoine Coppens, Chris Wilson, Christian Saurman, Rebekah Serrago, and Tony Aliatim.

What if the cancer diagnosis your doctor gave you is technically correct — but the treatment they chose has almost nothing to do with your actual cancer? This week, I sat down with Ed Clay, co-founder of TAM Center and Stem Cells, one of the world's most advanced translational medicine hospitals in Tijuana, Mexico. Ed started this journey the way most great things do — out of love. His mom got sick with no options in the US, so he bought a hospital and hired back the staff. She came in in a wheelchair and walked out.But what Ed has built since then? That's what blew my mind. His team — including the former chief of infectious disease at the NIH and the scientist who invented a test that reads 10,000 proteins at once — can sequence 20,000 of your cancer genes. Most US oncologists test 90.He dropped a bomb: there is not a single product on the market right now that can accurately detect cancer early through a blood test. Companies claiming otherwise? He's read their data. It's four patients. He also revealed why two people with the exact same cancer diagnosis can need completely different treatments — and why that distinction could be the difference between responding and not. This conversation will change how you think about what cancer actually is, and what it means to actually fight it.What we talk about:Why "ovarian cancer" in two different women can be two completely different diseases at the genetic levelThe lie behind liquid biopsy tests claiming to detect cancer in your bloodHow TAM goes from discovery to treating a patient in 6–12 months instead of 7 yearsA UFC champion's sister went from "weeks to live" to cancer-free in two months — here's what they foundZombie cells, senescence, and the peptide vaccine that could be the actual fountain of youthWhy combining genomics, proteomics, and methylation data could unlock cures for almost everythingCoffee enemas, Gerson therapy, and what happens to your body on day threeEpisode Links & Resources:Website: The Tam Center - https://thetamcenter.com | CPI Stem Cells - https://cellularperformanceinstitute.com/Podcast: https://www.edclayshow.com/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/edclayofficialConnect with Tracy:Website: https://tracyduhs.com/Hydration Shop: https://sanctuarysd.com/Instagram: @tracyduhsFlow FAM Community: https://tracyduhs.com/join-flow-fam/
