In this episode 600 of the TestGuild Automation Podcast, Joe Colantonio talks with Jason Arbon, founder of Testers.ai, Jank.AI and IcebergQA and author of the new book Testing AI: Engineering Confidence in Non-Deterministic Systems. Take Our 2027 Survey Now: https://testgld.link/27data Jason makes a case most testers have not heard yet. Coding is being absorbed by AI. Specification work is thinning out. Product, development, and test roles are converging into one. And when the music stops, the only seat left belongs to the person who can look at what the machine produced and make an evidence backed call on whether it ships. He calls that confidence engineering, and he argues it is not a rebrand of QA. It is what QA was always supposed to be. Along the way, Joe and Jason get into the containment problem and why alignment, not lockdown, is now the real safety goal. They dig into why testing cost scales quadratically, meaning ten times more generated code creates roughly a hundred times more testing demand. Jason also pushes back hard on skeptics of agentic testing, pointing out that almost nobody has run the obvious experiment of testing a site themselves for a week and comparing their results against what AI finds. You will also hear Jason's most practical piece of advice in the whole conversation. If you are not running the same suite five times against the same build and looking at the actual results, not just flake, you are not testing seriously in an AI world. Plus a detour into grokking, the Chinese Room, and Geoffrey Hinton, because it would not be a Jason Arbon episode without one. Listen up!

What does it take to figure out how to stop relying on alcohol for confidence? Amy needed eleven months alcohol-free, followed by more stops and starts than a city bus has, to decide something needed to change. For Dee, it was an entire wedding weekend and the fear of being the only one without a drink in her hand that made her realize alcohol was holding way too much headspace for her. Coaches Zoe and Cole help both women discover the confidence that was already inside them all along. Amy discusses: Going 30 days alcohol-free, then 11 months, then letting red wine back in "on a limited basis" and watching it unravel The cognitive dissonance between her morning self and her evening self, and why they actually want the same thing An ADHD diagnosis at seventeen and a lifelong feeling of being unpredictable to herself A snowy backyard, a hot tub, and proof that an urge really does pass if you outlast it Dee discusses: An entire wedding weekend built around alcohol, and the fear she hadn't said out loud yet Why a glass of wine became her stand-in for confidence since college The shift from "I'm not allowed to drink" to "I'm choosing not to," and why that one distinction changed everything Visualizing the wedding ahead of time, the same way she used to visualize a swim race And more… Ready to take the next step? What if the fear you're feeling isn't a sign to stop, but evidence that you're standing at the edge of something incredible? In this powerful conversation, Allison sits down with transformational speaker, bestselling author, and School of Becoming founder Tracy Litt to unpack why so many high-achieving women know they're ready for more but still struggle to make the leap. Tracy explains what actually happens in your brain and nervous system when you consider doing something unfamiliar, why what we call "lack of clarity" can sometimes be fear in disguise, and how to distinguish real danger from the discomfort that comes with growth. Together, Allison and Tracy share their own experiences leaving successful corporate careers, navigating uncertainty, betting on themselves, and learning to trust the women they were becoming. They also explore why sustainable transformation isn't about eliminating fear, but learning how to create enough internal safety to move forward anyway. Tracy also introduces her Choice Method, a four-part framework designed to help women build awareness, regulate their nervous systems, make decisions from their future identity, and create lasting change. If you've been feeling the pull toward something more but keep wondering, "What if it doesn't work?" this conversation may be exactly what you need to hear. What can a Division I basketball coach teach us about confidence, identity, leadership, and becoming the women we're meant to be? As it turns out…a lot. In this episode of the Advancing Women Podcast, Dr. Kimberly DeSimone sits down with University at Buffalo Women's Basketball Head Coach Kristen Sharkey for a conversation that goes far beyond the basketball court. The connection began at a women's leadership conference, where several young women who had heard both Kimberly and Sharkey speak insisted the two needed to meet. On the surface, a professor and a Division I basketball coach might seem to occupy very different worlds. But when Sharkey later told Kimberly, “My purpose in what I get to do is to help our young ladies grow into the phenomenal women they are meant to be. Basketball is my tool to do that,” the shared mission became clear. Basketball may be Sharkey's tool. Leadership education and this podcast may be Kimberly's. But both are deeply invested in helping women recognize their potential, find their voices, and become more fully who they are meant to be. Together, they explore what Sharkey has learned from coaching women in one of the most competitive environments imaginable, and why those lessons matter far beyond sports. They talk about: • Why confidence isn't something someone else can give you, and why it is often built through discomfort, mistakes, and getting back up • The complicated relationship women have with ambition and competition, and the double standards that still shape how competitive women are perceived • Competition versus comparison, and how women can pursue their own success while still bringing other women with them • The importance of connection, trust, character, and working toward something bigger than ourselves • How to separate who we are from what we do, especially when things aren't going the way we'd hoped • Why women need to stop apologizing for their opinions and voices • Finding purpose beyond performance and discovering what “sets your soul on fire” This isn't an episode about basketball…It's a conversation about becoming. About learning to trust yourself. It's about recovering from mistakes rather than being defined by them, about taking your seat at the table, even when you're not entirely sure you belong there, and about becoming the kind of strong woman who brings other women with her! Support Women's Sports: One of the themes that emerges in this conversation is that visibility and investment matter. Women's sports deserve our attention, our attendance, and our support. Coach Sharkey and UB Women's Basketball recently launched the Power of One Campaign, a community fundraising movement built around a simple idea: small individual acts of support can create an enormous collective impact. Support Coach Sharkey and UB Women's Basketball through the Power of One Campaign Buy tickets and support the UB Bulls Women's Basketball team And wherever you live, show up for women's sports. Buy the ticket. Fill the stands. Bring your daughters and your sons. Cheer loudly. Every ticket. Every cheer. Every person in those stands matters. On This EpisodeA $5,000 weapon-mounted rangefinder sounds ridiculous until a bad range costs you the shot. Matt returns from a National Guard sniper train-up at Camp Robinson and a match in Montana with side-by-side time behind the Maztech X4-LRF 15K and X4-LRF 2K Generation II. The question is not whether the expensive unit is impressive. It is what the extra money buys, who can use it, and where a lower-cost unit still gets the job done. They break down the practical difference between a 905 nm commercial laser and the 1534 nm system in the 15K, including target size, return speed, fog, smoke, dust, onboard Applied Ballistics, atmospherics, field zeroing, and a wired trigger beside the rifle's trigger. Matt shares what it took to range small steel around 800 to 850 yards and full-size silhouettes past 1,500, plus the simple mistake that can send the laser miles behind the target if the turret is not returned to zero. The conversation goes beyond one piece of gear. Cole and Matt get into the new MDT DRT chassis, a pre-production Leupold spotting scope, BX-6 Range HD binoculars, why guides should take glass seriously, and the budget workaround of pre-ranging a stand before a coyote or animal appears. The goal is not buying the most expensive setup. It is knowing the capability wall of what you already own and deciding whether the problem is worth paying to remove. Then the episode turns to wildfire responsibility, public-land cleanup, hunting rifles, recoil, cartridge availability, youth setups, and why a magnum is usually the wrong answer for a 300 to 400 yard deer. They cover 6.5 PRC, .22 Creedmoor, 6.5 Grendel, straight-wall cartridges, an experimental 10mm lever gun, upcoming hunts, Straight Jacket Armory's move, beginner rifle questions, industry misinformation, and the uncertainty around suppressor regulation. Detailed Episode Breakdown: Life and the return to the podcast: Cole and Matt catch up after a rough stretch of fires, travel, moves, work, and a long break between episodes. Camp Robinson and Montana: Matt recaps a week-long National Guard sniper train-up in Arkansas, followed by a sniper-focused match at the Thorson Ranch near White Sulphur Springs, Montana. Wildfire damage: Cole describes losing a cabin and seeing his ranch burn, then explains how loose soil, ash, monsoon rain, and missing vegetation turn the next storm into years of sludge and flooding. Shooter responsibility: They separate responsible target shooting from preventable fire risks such as old steel-jacketed surplus ammunition, tracers, exploding targets, tannerite, and shooting trash during dry conditions. Public-land stewardship: The conversation returns to the basic rule that shooters should know what they are firing, choose safe conditions, clean up the range, and stop giving land managers a reason to close access. The field setup: Matt ran a 6.5 Creedmoor built around a Lone Peak action in the magnesium MDT DRT chassis, with an Area 419 mount, MDT CKYE-POD, and a weapon-mounted Maztech rangefinder. Maztech 15K versus 2K: The 15K delivered faster, tighter returns on small and distant targets, while the 2K remained a practical option for larger targets, terrain features, and shooters who do not need the same adverse-condition performance. Ranging workflow: They discuss zeroing the laser, validating the return, integrating a ballistic profile, keeping the rifle turret at zero while ranging, and getting a range and hold without leaving the firing position. Who needs the expensive tool: A professional user, timed competitor, predator hunter, or hunter carrying a rare tag may be paying for speed and certainty. A recreational shooter can often pre-range terrain and keep a simple dope reference instead. Glass is part of the job: They explain why low-light clarity and a dependable range matter to guides and hunters, especially when the best animal appears at first light and there is no time to fight poor optics. Hunting cartridges and recoil: The episode pushes back on ultra-light magnums for moderate-distance deer hunting. They discuss 6.5 PRC, 6.5 Grendel, .277 Fury, .22 Creedmoor, and choosing a cartridge the shooter can control. Availability matters: A hunt is a bad place to discover that a specialty cartridge, brass, or ammunition cannot be replaced locally. Build around the mission, but account for what happens when something is forgotten or damaged. Youth rifle setup: Cole and Matt argue for manageable recoil, correct fit, and enjoyable early experiences instead of handing a young shooter a hard-kicking rifle and hoping they learn through punishment. 10mm lever-gun experiment: Matt shares his testing with a suppressed 10mm Marlin lever gun, the difference between pistol and carbine behavior, pressure signs, and why he will not publish experimental load data. What is next: Straight Jacket Armory is moving into a larger building with studio space. Future LRT topics include first-rifle decisions, beginner scope questions, youth hunting setups, technology versus primitive-weapon rules, industry changes, and suppressor policy. Practical Decision Rules •     Do not buy the most expensive rangefinder because the number looks impressive. Buy it when faster, more certain ranging changes the result of your match, hunt, or professional job.•     If a high-end system is outside the budget, pre-range terrain, write down the distances, and know the hold before the animal or target appears.•     Treat glass and ranging as one system. A clean image does not help if the range is wrong, and a strong laser does not help if you cannot identify the target at first light.•     Match the cartridge to the animal, distance, recoil tolerance, and ammunition supply. More energy is not automatically a better choice if the shooter cannot control the rifle.•     Set younger shooters up with correct fit and manageable recoil. Confidence and repeatable hits matter more than handing them the biggest cartridge available.•     During fire season, verify the ammunition and target, avoid ignition risks, pick the conditions, and clean up the site. Access disappears when shooters act like the mess belongs to somebody else. Six months can change the direction of your financial life when you stop waiting and start acting. Guest host Kyle Reese sits down with California rancher Johnny Nino to unpack what happened after Johnny first discovered Infinite Banking. One podcast episode led to a conversation with the Dominium Wealth team, and from there, Johnny began rethinking how his family handles capital, taxes, investing, and the future of their ranch. Johnny shares how taking over more of the ranch's finances and facing a tax bill he considered unacceptable sent him searching for a better way to make their dollars more efficient. That search eventually expanded beyond the ranch to encompass a family banking system, real estate, oil and gas, and a broader strategy centered on ownership and freedom. It's a firsthand look at what can happen when education turns into action. Key Takeaways: - One financial problem can become the catalyst for rethinking how to use capital. - Infinite Banking gave Johnny a framework for looking beyond the ranch and into other assets and opportunities. - Growth has a cost when it requires more of your time, energy, and attention. - Building passive streams of wealth can create room to grow financially without continually expanding your workload. - Confidence comes from taking action, learning, and surrounding yourself with the right people. Welcome back to the Inventory Genius Podcast! In last week's episode, my client Rebecca said something during our raw, unscripted chat that completely stuck with me: she talked about finding Courage, Clarity, and Confidence through the Inventory Genius program. That phrase resonated with me so much that I knew we needed a Part 2 to dig deeper into the nuts and bolts. Facing your business numbers isn't just a math problem—it's an emotional journey. In this episode, I break down what it really takes to transform your relationship with money and walk through the "3 C's" framework, sharing real client stories for each step along the way. Key Takeaways & What You'll Learn in This Episode: Why Courage Must Come First: You can't buy courage or find it in a budgeting app—it's a decision to take the very first step and look at your numbers, even when you can't see the whole staircase. How Clarity Arrives: Financial clarity doesn't happen before you do the work; it comes through the work. It accumulates layer-by-layer like compound interest. The Power of Real Confidence: True confidence isn't "faking it till you make it." It's earned evidence from taking action, leading to better pricing, smarter decisions, and faster momentum. Real Client Success Stories: How "Mary Jane" went from over $1M in debt to turning her entire business around. How Sarah found the clarity to keep, restructure, and scale her business instead of selling it. How "Susie" gained the confidence to move her product to a 3PL, double her subscription box subscribers, and boost profitability. Episode Breakdown: Introduction: The origin of Part 2 and why the podcast is always 100% real, raw, and unedited. The 1st C: Courage: Facing the emotional math problem of money and overcoming the urge to avoid your numbers. Client Story (Courage): Mary Jane's story of tackling $1M+ in debt and massive payroll by taking one courageous step. The 2nd C: Clarity: Uncovering your financial picture, spotting patterns, and building a consistent operational rhythm. Client Story (Clarity): Sarah's story of using financial clarity to decide whether to sell or keep her growing business. The 3rd C: Confidence: How clarity builds evidence, accelerates outcomes, and changes how you negotiate and price. Client Story (Confidence): Susie's story of stepping out of her home, outsourcing to a 3PL, and doubling her subscriber count. Key Wrap-Up & Encouragement: How Courage → Clarity → Confidence works continuously to empower you as a business owner. Memorable Quotes: "Courage in your finances doesn't mean having it all figured out. Courage means taking that first step when you cannot see the whole staircase." "Clarity does not show up before you do the work. Clarity comes through the work." "Confident people take better financial action, and better financial action creates better financial outcomes." Ever wonder what real estate agents are talking about when nobody's watching? We went straight to the source: Reddit. We dug through the subreddits: r/realtor and r/realestateagent, reading through 2025 and 2026 posts to see what agents are actually saying when they think no one from their brokerage is looking. And y'all, it was a lot. One out of every three posts was a vendor or marketer trying to sell agents a shiny solution to a problem they just admitted to having in public. The most engaged posts were not the wins or the strategy questions. They were confusion, hurt feelings, and agents who felt completely lost. So we broke it all down by topic: vendor fatigue, new agents who are drowning, a commission split that made everyone (including us) mad, what happens when your best friend uses another agent, the listening mistake that cost one agent a listing, social media chaos, CRM overload, the professionalism gap, and the agents juggling real estate with a second job. If you have ever felt like you were the only one struggling with any of this, we promise you are not. Here's what we cover in this episode: Why one in three posts on real estate Reddit is really just a vendor pitch in disguise What it means that the most engaged posts are about confusion, not wins Why new agents commenting on Reddit made us so sad, and what's really going on What "character creation syndrome" is and why the perfect headshot and business cards don't build a business Episodes to check out if you or someone you know is a drowning new agent The commission split story that had everyone up in arms and what she should have known before saying yes What happened when a good friend went under contract with a Zillow agent without saying a word The listing an agent lost because she forgot a detail the seller told her three weeks earlier Why posting "just sold" content is officially spam, and what to post instead Why agents are sitting on thousands of contacts they never actually use The professionalism gap showing up in nearly every single thread we read What dual career and part-time agents are up against, and the encouragement they need to hear Key Quotes & Takeaways:   "The most engaged posts weren't about strategy or wins. They were about confusion, hurt feelings, and feeling lost." "We've got to stop trying to automate the relationship building part of our job. It's reps." "Building the image of a successful agent doesn't actually create success. Doing the things successful agents do should be your only focus." "Fifty percent of the time the other agents are way harder than my clients." Last weekend, I did something I had never done before. I drove a 15-foot U-Haul more than 1,000 miles from Northern Kentucky to Fort Worth, Texas, while pulling my daughter's 2015 Toyota Corolla on a tow dolly. For weeks leading up to the trip, my mind was rehearsing everything that could possibly go wrong. What if I had to back up? Would I be able to navigate gas stations? Where would I park overnight? Could I make it through narrow construction lanes? What would it feel like driving with 18-wheelers on either side of me? I did what I could to prepare. I watched videos, asked questions, learned how to secure the car, and got advice from someone who had done it before. But there were some things I simply could not learn ahead of time. I had to get behind the wheel. At my first fuel stop, my nervous system was in overdrive. I asked my wife and daughter not to talk while I figured out how to maneuver this entire setup through the gas station. And then I did it. Nothing terrible happened. The second fuel stop was easier. By the fourth or fifth stop, my attitude had completely changed. What had felt overwhelming only hours earlier was becoming normal. Eventually, I was driving at highway speeds with an 18-wheeler on my left and another on my right, and it felt like no big deal. The U-Haul had not gotten smaller. The tow dolly had not gotten narrower. The Corolla was still hanging off the back. The roads had not changed. I had changed. I now had experience. My mind had wanted confidence before I had the experience, but it was the experience itself that created the confidence. Every mile gave me evidence. Every fuel stop gave me evidence. Every narrow lane and every turn gave me evidence. And even when something actually did go wrong and we had to replace the tow dolly along the way, I discovered that I could handle that too. This experience reminded me of something that applies to so many areas of life and business. Sometimes we are mentally rehearsing something over and over, waiting until we feel confident enough to begin. But maybe confidence is not what we need first. Maybe we need to get behind the wheel, pull out of the driveway, and allow experience to give us the evidence that thinking never can. What are you mentally rehearsing right now? What are you waiting to feel confident about before you begin? I'd love to hear what it is for you. Email me at cliff@cliffravenscraft.com.

When four indigenous children survived 40 days alone in the Colombian Amazon after a plane crash, the world called it a miracle. But what if their survival began years before the crash? In this episode, Dr. CK Bray explores the remarkable story behind their resilience and what it reveals about raising children who are confident, capable, and prepared to navigate life's unexpected challenges. Discover why confidence isn't built by protecting children from every struggle but by gradually giving them opportunities to learn, contribute, solve problems, and grow. You'll walk away with practical parenting insights and a fresh perspective on how to raise children who don't just survive adversity, but thrive because they've been prepared for it. QUOTES FROM DR. BRAY "Confidence is not created through encouragement alone. Confidence is built through experience." "Children do not become capable because we repeatedly tell them they are capable. They have to discover it for themselves." "When we remove every obstacle, solve every problem, and rescue them from every uncomfortable experience, the very challenges we try to eliminate are the ones that help them build resilient, adaptable brains."

You Don't Have a Metabolism Problem… You Have an Identity Problem“The Real Reason Nothing Has Stuck… And What Changes Now”You don't have a slow metabolism. You don't lack willpower. And you're not broken. You've just been operating from an identity that doesn't match the results you say you want. And until that changes… nothing else will. This is not another “get motivated” talk. This is a reality check.Because the truth is…Most people aren't stuck because they don't know what to do.They're stuck because their daily actions are still aligned with the person they USED to be… not the person they're trying to become. In this episode, Jay breaks down how your identity is driving your habits… and how your habits are shaping your metabolism.Every decision you make is a reflection of who you believe you are. What you eatWhether you moveHow you sleepHow you respond to stressNone of it is random. It's all aligned with your current identity. If your identity doesn't change… your results won't either.Your body responds to patterns, not intentions.Inconsistent nutrition = unstable blood sugarInconsistent sleep = hormonal disruptionInconsistent movement = stalled metabolismThis isn't bad luck. This is biology responding to your inputs. And inconsistent inputs will always produce inconsistent results. Most people don't actually believe this is going to work for them. Why?Because they've tried before. They've started strong… then fallen off.And now there's a quiet voice that says:“Yeah… but let's see how long this lasts.”That voice is what keeps people stuck. Not their metabolism.Motivation is unreliable.Confidence is not something you wait for. It's something you build. And the only way to build it is through action.Repeated, consistent action. This is where everything changes. For the next 7 days:Act like the version of you who already has this handled. Not perfectly. Intentionally.Lock in 3 non-negotiables:Protein-focused mealsDaily movementConsistent sleep scheduleNo overwhelm. No overthinking.Just execution.Stop asking:“Do I feel like doing this today?”Start asking:“What would the person I'm becoming do today?”Then go do that.Regardless of how you feel. When your actions change… your biology follows.Blood sugar stabilizesEnergy improvesCravings decreaseMetabolism begins working with you instead of against youThis is alignment. Not hacks. Not shortcuts. You're not stuck. You've just been practicing being the person you don't want to be.For the next 7 days… that changes.Pick your 3 non-negotiables.Commit to 7 days. And prove to yourself that this time is different… because YOU are different. If this episode hit you… share it with someone who needs to hear it.And remember:You don't get healthy because you lost weight. You lose weight because you got healthy.

Do you ever wish you were more confident? Like, if you were, you'd have access to more opportunities, right? You'd speak up more, be more at ease with yourself and trust your instincts more. But there's a line that's often crossed with people who think they're being confident (especially when they don't actually feel that way). It pulls them into a dynamic that can ultimately be destructive and can cause them to drop in their resonance. Which means that they have to use more of their will, try to bully or control others, to get their way, and their options actually narrow. Rather than staying in true confidence, which is when possibilities, synchronicities and quantum magic can open to you. In this episode of Mastering Your World Through Frequencies we're discussing the fine line between true Confidence and Arrogance and how to access more of the former. The Group Frequency Calibration® (GFC) I created specifically to accompany this episode will help you begin to release the distortion patterns that keep you from being at ease with who you are, as you are, right now. Without clearing these layers of distortion patterns, you can easily start to limit yourself because you're judging who you are and holding yourself back! The Daily Boost | Coaching You Need. Success You Deserve.

Daily Boost Podcast You Need Some Swagger August 7, 2026 | Episode 5515 Host: Scott Smith Episode Description Successful people hire me all the time — smart people with everything going on who are stuck and can't quite figure out why. You'd never guess the number one thing they need. Swagger. Not arrogance — walking as you've already decided. A little edgy, with a smile on your face. The nicest renegade you ever met. Self-doubt is debilitating, and it hides quietly behind confident faces. Today I'll show you exactly when swagger shows up, why friction always arrives first, and the one small decision that can bring your confidence back today. Featured Story I have been that man at two o'clock in the morning — a couple glasses of wine, staring in the mirror, asking, what the hell, dummy? Smart in every possible way, good decisions my entire life, and I couldn't figure it out right now. That's what self-doubt does to capable people. On the surface, everything looks fine. You've always been the one who could make a decision, the one everybody relied on. Now you're second-guessing yourself, sitting on ChatGPT until five in the morning researching what everybody else lost at three in the morning thinks. Then you make one real decision — and your posture, your voice, your walk all change in a second. Important Points Swagger isn't arrogance. It's walking as you've already decided — a little edgy, with a smile, sure of your move. Self-doubt devastates capable people quietly. On the surface, everything looks fine; at 2 a.m. it's another story. Confidence returns after action, not before it. One small real decision today starts rebuilding your evidence. Memorable Quotes Swagger isn't arrogance. It's walking as you've already decided, like you know what you're doing and things are cool. Swagger shows up after you make a decision. It's like motivation — motivation shows up after you take the action. Friction is not a stop sign. When friction shows up in your life, it's proof that you've touched onto something real. Scott's Three-Step Approach Make one small, real decision today — something that moves you forward — and say it out loud so it actually counts. Notice what changes the moment you decide: your posture, your voice, your walk. That's the swagger coming back on. Expect friction to show up first, every time. Treat it as proof you're onto something real, and keep on deciding.
