Episode 223: Automate Your Lead Generation with our FREE online course: https://go.digitaltrailblazer.com/auto-leads-course-freeMost online business owners are barely scratching the surface with AI — copy-pasting prompts and hoping for magic — while their competitors are building automated workflows that do the heavy lifting. Without a real AI system behind your business, you're stuck in the weeds doing repetitive, time-consuming tasks instead of the high-value strategic work that actually grows your revenue. In this episode, Rocky Pedden teaches us how to build AI-powered workflows that run your business operations, including how to map your deliverable process into trainable agents, structure prompts for specific outputs, use tools like Claude Cowork and Zapier to automate multi-step tasks, and repurpose content at scale — all so you can spend 80% of your time on strategy instead of button-pushing.Connect with Rocky:https://revenuezen.com/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/rockypedden/ https://www.linkedin.com/company/revenuezen/ https://www.instagram.com/revenuezen/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgRWKt7IPwh3_rH66XlwuEgWant to SCALE your online business bigger and faster without the endless hustle of networking, referrals, and pumping out content that nobody sees?Grab our Ultimate Ad Script for Coaches, Agencies, and Course Creators.Learn the exact 5-step script we teach our clients that allows them to generate targeted, high-quality leads at ultra-low cost, so you can land paying customers and clients without breaking the bank on ad spend.Grab the Ultimate Ad Script right HERE - https://join.digitaltrailblazer.com/ultimate-ad-script✅ Connect With Us:Website - https://DigitalTrailblazer.comFacebook - https://www.facebook.com/digitaltrailblazerTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@digitaltrailblazerX (Twitter): https://x.com/DgtlTrailblazerInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/DigitalTrailblazer
In this episode, I get to speak with Liz Heddleston and Leah Stiegler of Woods Rogers about a healthcare compliance issue that many organizations may be underestimating: the HIPAA risks created by modern marketing practices.Healthcare providers increasingly rely on social media, patient testimonials, online success stories, influencers, user-generated content, and even AI-assisted marketing tools to build visibility and connect with patients. But as recent enforcement activity demonstrates, these efforts can create significant HIPAA exposure when protected health information is disclosed without proper authorization. Our conversation uses the recent OCR enforcement action involving Cadia Healthcare Facilities as a starting point. OCR alleged that patient names, photographs, and treatment information were publicly shared through online success stories without valid written HIPAA authorizations. The resulting settlement serves as a reminder that positive intent, patient enthusiasm, and informal consent do not eliminate HIPAA obligations.Liz and Leah help unpack what went wrong in the Cadia matter and explain why healthcare organizations should be paying close attention. We discuss:Common misconceptions about de-identificationThe growing risks associated with social media and AI-generated contentThe compliance challenges created by marketing vendors, agencies, and influencersWhere OCR enforcement may be headed nextOne of the key themes throughout the discussion is that HIPAA compliance is no longer just an IT or cybersecurity issue. As healthcare organizations expand their digital presence, privacy compliance must become part of the content creation and marketing process itself.Whether you're a healthcare executive, compliance officer, in-house counsel, privacy professional, marketer, or outside advisor, this conversation offers practical guidance on navigating the intersection of healthcare privacy, digital marketing, and regulatory risk.Jump in to hear Liz and Leah's insights on HIPAA compliance, healthcare marketing, and the emerging risks organizations should be addressing before an enforcement action brings them into focus.______________________________________Thanks for listening!
What happens when a media company goes all-in on AI for 2.5 years? You'll discover how they use AI to curate daily news for marketers, how AI helped reposition an entire product's messaging based on customer data, and how a 60-minute live training gets turned into a full resource kit using AI-powered workflows. In this episode, Alex Quin and Michelle Chia return to the podcast after a brief hiatus to share personal and professional updates, discuss the realities of entrepreneurship, and break down the healthy habits that help them sustain long workdays without burning out. From sleep, exercise, nutrition, and stress management to setting boundaries, journaling, and personal growth, they offer practical insights for entrepreneurs looking to build successful businesses while protecting their health and well-being.Episode Outline:[00:00] Welcome Back and Life Updates[02:15] Agency Growth, New Clients, and New Books[04:20] Why We Chose Healthy Habits for Entrepreneurs[08:05] Sleep, Recovery, and Long-Term Performance[10:12] Taking Breaks, Walking, and Staying Active[12:25] Time Blocking and Productivity Systems[14:15] Setting Boundaries With Clients[16:05] Learning to Say No[17:35] WHOOP, Oura Ring, and Health Tracking[19:05] Michelle's Cortisol and Stress Story[21:40] Nutrition, Hydration, and Managing Stress[23:10] The Tarzan "Swinging Vines" Concept[25:05] Becoming Your 2.0 Self[26:40] Journaling, Books, and Personal Growth[27:50] Habits We're Trying to Change[28:40] Final Thoughts and Closing RemarksWisdom Nuggets:Sleep Is a Competitive Advantage: Entrepreneurs often treat sleep like a luxury instead of a necessity. Alex and Michelle remind us that better decisions, sharper focus, and sustainable growth all start with proper recovery. The goal isn't to work more hours—it's to make your hours more effective.Protect Your Energy: Being available 24/7 may feel like great customer service, but constant accessibility creates burnout. Setting healthy boundaries with clients, coworkers, and even family members allows you to show up at your best when it matters most.Track Your Health Like Your Business: Most entrepreneurs obsess over revenue, sales, and analytics while ignoring their own health metrics. Monitoring stress levels, sleep quality, blood work, and recovery can help identify issues early and improve long-term performance.Let Go to Level Up: Growth often requires releasing habits, relationships, or routines that no longer serve your future. Like Tarzan swinging from one vine to the next, you have to let go of the old before you can fully grab onto new opportunities.Become Your Next Version: Success isn't about staying the same person and hoping for different results. The habits, mindset, and behaviors that got you here may not be enough to get you where you want to go next. Continuous self-improvement is a requirement, not an option.Power Quotes"Your heart rhythm is a very important thing that people don't even pay attention to." - Alex Quin"It's okay to say no and it's okay to put yourself first." - Michelle ChiaConnect with Michelle:Instagram: (https://www.instagram.com/michellechia)Linkedin: (https://www.linkedin.com/in/michelle-chia1/)Connect With the Podcast Host Alex Quin:Instagram: (https://www.instagram.com/alexquin)Twitter: (https://twitter.com/mralexquin)LinkedIn: (https://www.linkedin.com/in/mralexquin)Website: (https://alexquin.com)TikTok: (https://www.tiktok.com/@mralexquin)Books Mentioned:Atomic Habits — James ClearThe Road Less Stupid — Keith J. What happens when a green owl, a handful of improv rules, and zero fear collide? You get Duolingo, the internet's most unhinged, hilarious, and effective brand. Zaria Parvez is the creative force behind that chaos. As Duolingo's first-ever social media hire, she helped grow the brand from 50,000 to over 16 million followers, turning a dusty owl costume in the office into one of the most recognizable (and meme-worthy) characters on the planet. She opens up about how she built a culture of creativity rooted in improv, boldness, and trust. She shares how her team turned social media into the heartbeat of the brand and why “fear is the most expensive mistake” in Marketing. You'll learn: -The wild origin story behind Death by Duo, the campaign that hit 1.7 billion impressions with no paid ads. -How Zaria uses improv comedy principles to fuel creativity, collaboration, and confidence. -Why giving social teams approval power and autonomy is the key to moving at the speed of culture. Whether you're a Marketer, creator, or someone who just loves a good brand story, this episode will change the way you think about creativity online. The higher education space in the U.S. is facing a monumental crisis that has little do to with academic quality. With student enrollments declining, small colleges closing, and prestigious institutions scrambling to fill seats, the root issue lies in digital invisibility. Colleges and institutions aren't losing because of the quality of education they offer, but because their higher education marketing strategies are outdated and unable to capture the attention of students in a radically different world. So, how can enrollment and marketing teams help with visibility and attention in a highly distracted world? That's why we're talking to Chris Rapozo (Associate Vice-President, Stamats) and Rob Clark (Founder, TTF Media), who share proven strategies on how to win the attention game in higher education. During our conversation, they underscore the critical value of producing intentional, platform-native content across social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. They also highlighted a massive paradigm shift from traditional websites to social media for student discovery, and stressed the importance of authentic, user-generated content (UGC). They shared practical advice on getting senior leadership buy-in and explained why speed in decision-making is paramount. Chris and Rob also introduced the highly successful Creator Academy concept that leverages the skills of students to build brand visibility at scale. Stay to the end to get their 90-day plan that includes producing 10-20 pieces of daily content and how to leverage data analysis to measure and track campaign success.Companies and links mentioned:Chris Rapozo on LinkedInRob Clark LinkedInStamatsRob Clark websiteThe Education Marketing Leader PodcastThe “Attention Gap” Book

Episode 220: Automate Your Lead Generation with our FREE online course: https://go.digitaltrailblazer.com/auto-leads-course-freeRunning paid ads without a profitable funnel structure is one of the fastest ways to burn through your budget — leaving coaches, course creators, and agency owners frustrated with little to show for it. Without the right offer architecture and ad strategy, most business owners either lose money on ads or attract low-quality leads that never convert to high-ticket clients. In this episode, Paul Meldrum teaches us how to build a self-liquidating funnel where your leads essentially pay for themselves. Episode 219: Automate Your Lead Generation with our FREE online course: https://go.digitaltrailblazer.com/auto-leads-course-freeAI is fundamentally changing how people find information online — and if you're relying on Google search traffic or organic content to drive leads, you've likely already felt the impact. For coaches, course creators, and agency owners, this shift isn't just an algorithm update; it's a complete disruption to the visibility strategies that have worked for years. In this episode, Tim Woda teaches us how to adapt and stay profitable, including why building a recognizable brand makes you more likely to appear in AI-generated responses, how platforms like YouTube and Reddit represent overlooked opportunities for discovery, and why moving toward high-ticket offers can dramatically reduce your dependence on traffic volume — and the stress that comes with it.About Tim Woda: Tim is a digital strategist, entrepreneur, and growth architect who helps businesses win when the rules change. As Founder and CEO of White Peak, he builds scalable marketing systems that turn underperforming traffic into profitable growth, even as AI reshapes search and ad costs rise. With 25+ years in marketing and growth leadership, Tim has helped lead companies through major disruption eras, including the dot-com bust, the 2008 recession, and the 2020 COVID crash. We sit down with Rahil Kumar from MySmile Media to unpack what organic marketing really means for UK dentists in 2026, and why the basics now decide whether patients choose you or move on within minutes. We talk funnels in plain English: every view, click, and doorstep glance sits at the top, then the journey narrows through enquiry, consultation, and attendance. From there we get specific about the points most practices miss, like lead response time, how to remove friction from booking, and why your website is not a brochure but a growth engine. Rahil shares the practical checklist he uses when auditing dental websites, including mobile-first design, loading speed, clearer calls to action, and writing that patients actually understand. The conversation also turns to the AI shift: people are using ChatGPT for everyday searches, and Google's AI Overviews are changing how patients consume information. The takeaway is not to abandon SEO, but to treat it as a long-term practice builder that earns trust and visibility over time. We finish with an organic social media plan you can stick to, why three consistent posts a week beats sporadic bursts, how to balance before-and-after content with human stories, and when TikTok is worth your energy compared with mastering Meta first.———————————————————————Disclaimer: All content on this channel is for education purposes only and does not constitute an investment recommendation or individual financial advice. Hello voices from the bench community, John Wilson here and I wanted to share some news about the evolution of the Programill lineup. Most importantly, Ivoclar's new PrograMill 7. What stands out right away is the reduced air consumption this mill requires, but what you'll notice first is that impressive new touchscreen. For us, the biggest advantage has been increased spindle power. My laboratory's known for these larger cases with complex geometries, and I can tell you that extra power really makes a difference. Next time you see your Ivoclar representative, be sure to ask about the PrograMill 7 and tell them John Wilson sent you. Thank you. At exocad Insights in beautiful Mallorca, we finally caught up with Felix from Imagine USA—and the timing couldn't have been better. As an exocad dealer on the front lines of digital dentistry, Felix shared his excitement about the strong turnout, the familiar faces, and most importantly, the innovation coming from exocad. What stood out most? The new exocad Hub and its cloud-based capabilities, along with powerful AI-driven tools inside DentalDB designed for efficient batch processing. For Felix and the Imagine team, it's not just about seeing what's new—it's about putting it to the test. By running new features through their own production facility first, they ensure real-world performance before bringing solutions to their customers. Beyond the technology, Felix emphasized the value of being there in person—connecting face-to-face with partners, having meaningful conversations, and stepping back to see where the industry is headed. And of course, doing it all in Mallorca doesn't hurt either. This week at the Dental Laboratory Association of Texas Meeting 2026, the microphones stayed hot as three completely different conversations all circled around the same thing: how fast the dental lab industry is evolving. First up, the crew sat down with Tony Aliatim from Axis Dental Milling to talk about going from biomedical engineering and printing silicone heart models for surgeons… to becoming one of the go-to names in dental milling. From industrial machining roots in Michigan to AI-powered calibration systems and Straumann plug-and-play workflows, Tony breaks down how VersaMill machines are helping labs mill everything from zirconia to implant abutments faster, smarter, and safer. Along the way, the conversation dives into HyperDent, trade show madness, wet vs dry milling nightmares, and why dental technicians may not realize how close this industry really is to aerospace-level manufacturing. Then things shifted from mills to maintenance with Rebekah Serrago and Chris Wilson from Garland Dental Services. What started decades ago as a garage-based repair business fixing handpieces has grown into one of the industry's best-kept secrets for equipment sales, service, and support. Rebekah shares the story of growing up folding flyers for her father's repair company before eventually becoming CEO and expanding Garland into a massive online sales and service operation supporting everything from ovens to mills. Chris joins in to talk preventative maintenance, service certifications, keeping ancient ovens alive, and why labs desperately need dealers that actually understand the equipment they sell. It's equal parts family-business story, repair shop wisdom, and hilarious behind-the-scenes dental lab banter. Finally, the future officially arrived when the podcast crew sat down with Antoine Coppens from Relu and orthodontic lab owner Christian Saurman of New England Orthodontic Laboratory. What started as four engineering students experimenting with AI in Belgium somehow turned into fully automated dental workflows capable of designing surgical guides, night guards, models, and restorations in minutes. The conversation explores how AI is reshaping lab workflows, reducing manual design time, integrating directly into LMS systems, and even learning individual lab preferences. Christian explains how his custom-built orthodontic lab management system helped eliminate workflow chaos and automate huge portions of production, while Antoine gives a fascinating look into where dental AI is headed next. Between AI-generated appliances, automated scan checks, and self-learning workflows, this episode feels less like science fiction and more like a preview of what labs will look like over the next five years.Special Guests: Antoine Coppens, Chris Wilson, Christian Saurman, Rebekah Serrago, and Tony Aliatim.

From wire-bending machines and digital ortho workflows to Vulcanite dentures and photogrammetry, this episode from the DLAT floor is packed with stories, laughs, and a whole lot of dental lab wisdom. First up, the crew sits down with Jason Dyas — better known these days as the man behind Ortho Outlaw and everyone's favorite outlaw mascot, Clyde. Jason shares his journey from construction work and garage-built orthodontic appliances to running successful ortho labs and diving headfirst into digital technology. What started with fax-machine marketing and Walmart bench grinders eventually evolved into automated wire-bending machines, digital scanning, social media content creation, and a growing mission to help older labs embrace modern workflows instead of shutting their doors. The conversation covers everything from AI-driven ortho tech and the future of wire bending to building a brand, traveling to industry events around the world, and how Ortho Outlaw became one of the most recognizable new names in orthodontic lab social media. Then the podcast catches up with longtime friend of the show Jim Collis for an incredible deep dive into 45 years of dental technology experience. Wanna know how to get a new client fast? If you need a client like *now*, the answer isn't a new funnel — it's getting scrappy, getting visible, and reminding people you exist. In this episode, Jenna Harding shares the strategies she's used (and seen her clients use) to book clients quickly — some polished, some unconventional, all proven. From wedding charcuterie boards to a cold Craigslist pitch that turned into a $20,000 job, this one's full of real stories that will get you thinking differently about how clients actually find you.In this episode, you'll hear tactics to get a new client fast (how about by Friday?) We'll cover:Why social media is the backbone of even your most "offline" client bookings — and what a college professor and an improv friend have to do with itThe near-100% conversion strategy Jenna's client Cassie Torres used as a wedding photographer (hint: it involved wine, cheese, and her living room)How a simple congratulations email to a past client led directly to a new contract — with zero pitchingThe Craigslist approach that landed a $20,000 client Where to look online for people who are actively searching for someone like you right nowWhy re-engaging past clients is the easiest sell you're not making What Jenna's Booked Out Offers clients brainstormed on their last call to get hired fastThe takeaway:The fastest path to getting a new client isn't complicated — it's a reach-out to someone who already knows you, likes you, and just forgot to call. Your network is warmer than you think. Go remind them what you do.

This week on the podcast, Ryan kicks things off with a wild property tax story that sparks a bigger conversation—after reading a post about a homeowner being taxed on unrealized gains, the guys break down what's real, what's misunderstood, and what it could mean for property owners if policies like this ever became widespread.Next, they dive into a major piece of legislation coming out of Kentucky, where the House has passed a bill that could wipe out all local regulations on short-term rentals. What would this mean for investors, neighborhoods, and the balance between opportunity and oversight? Expect some strong opinions and real-world implications. To wrap it up, they tackle a question every agent and creator is thinking about: when it comes to marketing properties on social media, what actually matters more—high-end, professionally produced videos that barely get seen, or raw, agent-shot content that racks up thousands of views? The discussion gets into authenticity, reach, and what truly drives results in today's attention economy.Submit your questions for Jay and Ryan to answer on the podcast here!
