Carole from Aberdeenshire was feeding farm feral cats in the 1990s when a sleek black panther turned up. In the following weeks she had four sightings of two different large black cats in the area, and took a photo which resulted in a distant blob. She has received many reports of similar cats in the region and has investigated carcasses of their suspected prey. She has also seen “Kellas cats” and thinks these could represent a mutant felis cat which roams parts of Britain.     Word of the week:   ailurophilia5 June 2022

Ascolteremo: Forever Yung (Bob Dylan), That's not the way it feels(Oparator), Try to remember(Harry Belafonte), Calling me home (The Seekers), Diamonds and rust (Judy Collins e Joan Baez), Against the wind (The Highwayman), Rain falls down in Amsterdam 2001 (Eric Andersen), This land is your land(Bruce Springsteen), True love will never fade(Mark Knopfler), We shall overcome(Pete Seeger), Suzanne(Leonar Choen). The Viking hero Starkad / Starkaðr was a warrior-poet with extra arms who was blessed by the god Odin. This aristocratic transgressive lone wolf character is actually a prehistoric Indo-European archetype equivalent to Hercules in Greece, Suibhne in Ireland and Krishna's cousin Siśupāla of Chedi from the Hindu religion of India. In this video I explain who Starkad was and how his myths parallel other Indo-European stories of a Sigma male outsider who loves kings, hates the lower classes, is rude to women and goes into mad rages of extreme violence against his enemies. Ascolteremo: Medley Musica Irlandese (Quin Pop), Geordie(Antica ballata scozzese), Celtic Music(Warrior), Faun(Federkleid), Celtic Music(Wolf Blood), Gaelic Storm(Irish Party Third Class), An Irish Pub Song(The Rumjacks), The Bonnie Banks of Lock Lomond (Ella Roberts), Greensleeves, Musica Celtica (La Danza delle Fate), The Gael(Celtic Scottish Pipe Drums Music - Albannach).

In the show Celtica, Gwynedd and Celtica sang this song when they were planning to blow up the Draugr’s foundry. We framed most of that episode as an homage to this moment in modern Welsh history. Thanks for all your hard work. It is truly appreciated in Calgary, Canada." Annie Lorkowski posted on Facebook: "Hello Marc! You asked for photos from my recent Ireland trip... We took the ferry from Wales to Dublin, then the train to Galway, and a driving tour of the Connemara. We went pony trekking on the beach outside of Clifden, and visited the stunning Kylemore Abbey (here in the photo). I discovered your podcast after my first trip to Ireland, to keep the Irish inspiration in me until I got a chance to go back. And as I was listening to show #279, "Cead Mille Failte" was playing as my plane home flew over the Emerald Isle, and I must admit I got a little teary-eyed.
