Series: Mark Part 16Scripture: Mark 5:1–20 In today's episode, we continue our journey through the Gospel of Mark and see Jesus step onto the shore in the region of the Gerasenes. There, He meets a man who is suffering terribly and living among the tombs. This story includes demons, sometimes the Bible also calls them unclean spirits, but we handle this carefully and remind kids of the most important truth: Jesus is stronger than darkness. As Jesus speaks with authority, the unclean spirits must obey Him. The man who had been alone, hurting, and in bondage is restored. When the people come and see him, he is sitting with Jesus, dressed, and in his right mind. What a beautiful picture of mercy and rescue. This episode helps kids see that Jesus does not only save and restore people so they can keep it to themselves. He gives His people a story to tell. Wherever Jesus places us—at home, with friends, at school, or in our community—we can tell others how much the Lord has done. Today's key truth:Jesus is stronger than darkness, full of mercy, and wants us to share his goodness with others. ------------------ The Wonder Project: Subscriber support makes more great content like I Gotta Ask with Annie F. Broadcasting straight from New York City, we sit down with beauty influencer, hairstylist, educator, and salon owner Melanie Hasson for one of the funniest, most relatable, and unexpectedly emotional episodes of Undressed yet. What starts with jokes about Melanie's flawless makeup, Irish roots, and "church lady" middle name quickly turns into a fascinating conversation about chasing your dreams when nobody believes in you. Melanie opens up about defying family expectations, skipping the traditional college path, and following her passion into the beauty industry despite being told it wasn't a "real career." We dive deep into how she transformed her hairstyling business through social media, revealing the exact moment her content exploded online. From a viral hair transformation that earned more than 11 million views to rescuing a TikTok user's hair disaster in an eight-hour color correction marathon, Melanie shares the secrets behind building a loyal audience by showcasing authenticity instead of perfection. The conversation takes a hilarious turn as we compare hairstylists to fashion designers, debate terrible haircuts, discuss difficult clients, and uncover why the best creatives aren't afraid to tell people "no." Melanie also reveals how opening her own salon, Revival in Staten Island, changed her career trajectory and inspired her mission to educate the next generation of beauty professionals. Then comes the Armenian Coffee Reading. What Pol uncovers leaves Melanie stunned. The coffee reveals a major past relationship, an almost-engagement, a heartbreak she thought she'd already healed from, and a mysterious item she left behind when she walked away from a man she once loved. The reading exposes family interference, financial priorities that changed everything, and a piece of herself that may still be waiting to be reclaimed. As the reading unfolds, Pol predicts that someone new is already interested in Melanie, but she's too focused on business to let love in. He also identifies a major career expansion she's been considering but hasn't fully committed to yet. Melanie confirms that she's been feeling incomplete despite reaching many of her professional goals and reveals her dream of creating online education programs to help hairstylists worldwide. Filled with laughs, career advice, vulnerable relationship confessions, entrepreneurial inspiration, and one of the most accurate coffee readings we've seen in a long time, this episode proves that success isn't just about building a business—it's about finding harmony between your ambition, your heart, and the pieces of yourself you've left behind. Will Melanie ever recover the mystery item from her past? Will she finally open the door to new love? And could online education become the next chapter in her rapidly growing empire? You'll have to listen and find out. Does Spider-Noir get its blend of noir and superheroes right? In the 2018 film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Nicolas Cage gave us a taste of a black and white, film-noir Spider-Man who talked in Dashiell Hammett dialogue. Matt and Jordan review Prime Video’s Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War, a straight-to-streaming title they are branding "movie Toferky." For Rec Seg, the duo finds comfort in the Paramount Plus vaults, with Jordan revisiting the Tom Clancy masterpiece that started it all, and Matt countering with a series sequel featuring Harrison Ford's bookworm Boy Scout desk-jockey. Then, a personalized recommendation request from listener Patrick sparks a highly volatile intra-pod war. While Jordan goes with a ‘70s screwball classic, Matt goes full "Muppet Radical" with his recommendation for a late-period Muppet movie over the Jim Henson-produced originals. Finally, Producer Sam hosts a trivia game called The Sum of All Jack Ryans, which ignites a flurry of deep pulls, culminating with a classic Jordan anecdote featuring Star Trek's Gates McFadden desperately trying to escape a cruise ship at the outbreak of the pandemic. In this episode of our Daughters Series, we unpack the powerful story of Mary and Martha and discover why this familiar Bible story still has so much to teach us. We talk about the tension between doing things for Jesus and simply being with Him, the danger of burnout and performance-based faith, and the beautiful invitation Jesus gives every daughter to sit at His feet. We also explore one of the most moving moments in Scripture—Jesus weeping with Mary after the death of Lazarus—and what it reveals about His heart toward our pain, disappointment, and grief. Finally, we look at Mary's extravagant act of worship and uncover a powerful pattern throughout her life: every time we see Mary, she's found at the feet of Jesus. Whether you're feeling busy, burned out, heartbroken, or simply longing for more of God's presence, we hope this conversation reminds you that the posture of a daughter is always found at the feet of Jesus. Tonight on TV Party Tonight, we're reviewing Season 5 of The Boys, the fifth and final chapter of Eric Kripke's satirical superhero saga based on the comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. Produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television, the season brings back Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Karen Fukuhara, Chace Crawford, Laz Alonso, and the rest of the core cast, with Daveed Diggs joining the ensemble. As Homelander tightens his grip on America and seeks the original Compound V formula that could make him effectively immortal, Billy Butcher and The Boys unite for one final mission, armed with a virus capable of wiping out every Supe on Earth. Premiering on Prime Video in April 2026 and concluding in May, the season earned generally favorable reviews for its action, performances, social commentary, humor, and emotional payoff, though some critics cited pacing issues and a lack of focus. Tonight, we'll see if the finale sticks the landing.Disclaimer: The following may contain offensive language, adult humor, and/or content that some viewers may find offensive – The views and opinions expressed by any one speaker does not explicitly or necessarily reflect or represent those of Mark Radulich or W2M Network.Mark Radulich and his wacky podcast on all the things:https://linktr.ee/markkind76alsohttps://www.teepublic.com/user/radulich-in-broadcasting-networkFB Messenger: Mark Radulich LCSWTiktok: @markradulichtwitter: @MarkRadulichInstagram: markkind76RIBN Album Playlist: https://suno.com/playlist/91d704c9-d1ea-45a0-9ffe-5069497bad59

Spider-Noir Editors – Jennifer Barbot, ACE; Tirsa Hackshaw, ACE; Eric Kissack, ACE and Geraud Brisson, ACE Although the editors of Spider-Noir may have all arrived at the series through different paths, they quickly found themselves working toward the same goal: shaping a superhero story that functions first and foremost as a noir detective tale. For Jennifer Barbot, Tirsa Hackshaw, Eric Kissack, and Geraud Brisson, that meant balancing 1930s atmosphere, modern pacing, dry comedy, stylized action, and the very particular energy of a Nicolas Cage performance. Created by Oren Uziel for MGM+ and Prime Video, Spider-Noir stars Nicolas Cage as Ben Reilly, a down-on-his-luck private investigator in 1930s New York who is pulled back into his former life as the city's only superhero, The Spider. The series also stars Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Karen Rodriguez, Jack Huston and Brendan Gleeson, and is presented in both "Authentic Black and White" and "True-Hue Full Color" versions. For the editors, that dual-format release created one of the show's most interesting creative and technical challenges. The editors primarily cut in black and white, leaning into the shadows, contrast and classic noir language of the series, while visual effects reviews often revealed the same scenes in color. The result was a show that could feel emotionally different depending on which version was being watched, even when the underlying performance, rhythm and story remained the same. JENNIFER BARBOT, ACE Jennifer Barbot is an editor whose credits include Your Honor, Raised by Wolves, The Man in the High Castle, Jessica Jones and Dope Thief. On Spider-Noir, Jennifer was drawn to the show's mix of noir style, superhero mythology and emotional character work, as well as the opportunity to help establish the tone of a world that had to feel both period-inspired and contemporary. TIRSA HACKSHAW, ACE Tirsa Hackshaw, ACE has worked across a wide range of television and film projects, including One Piece, Kung Fu, Jupiter's Legacy, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and The Punisher. Having previously worked with Steve Lightfoot on Marvel's The Punisher, Tirsa came to Spider-Noir with both a love of the noir genre and a deep appreciation for the Spider-Verse, making the show a natural fit for her interests as an editor. ERIC KISSACK, ACE Eric Kissack, ACE is an editor and director whose work includes The Good Place, Veep, Black Monday, Rutherford Falls, Pam & Tommy and The Studio. He has also edited feature comedies such as Role Models, Brüno, Cedar Rapids, The Dictator, Horrible Bosses 2, Daddy's Home, Instant Family, Barb & Star Go to Vista Del Mar and Bottoms. On Spider-Noir, Eric was especially interested in the show's dry, organic comedy and in finding a rhythm that allowed the humor to breathe without undercutting the detective story. GERAUD BRISSON, ACE Geraud Brisson, ACE is a French-American film and television editor whose credits include CODA, The OA, Counterpart, This Close, Shantaram and Lessons in Chemistry. Having previously worked with Steve Lightfoot on Shantaram, Geraud was excited by the chance to explore a superhero-oriented story through the lens of noir. His work on Spider-Noir included sequences that blended action, subjective sound, visual effects and classic film references into the show's distinctive style. John Krasinski is back as everyone's favorite CIA analyst, but Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan Ghost War completely misses the mark. We are breaking down why this highly anticipated Prime Video movie feels less like a cinematic blockbuster and more like a basic, predictable CBS movie of the week. While the chemistry between the returning cast is totally fine, the plot relies on tired spy tropes and a generic rogue black ops unit that we have already seen a thousand times before. If you were hoping for the high octane energy, sleek visuals, and elite pacing of Citadel, you are going to be severely disappointed by how average this film turned out to be. Check out our honest review to see if it is even worth adding to your streaming watchlist!

Spider-Man. Nicolas Cage. Film noir. Brendan Gleeson. Spider-Noir. A black-and-white detective story wrapped inside a Marvel universe.Yeah, we're doing that this week.On this episode of Pop Culture Weekly with Kyle McMahon, I sit down with Nicolas Cage and Brendan Gleeson to talk all about Prime Video's Spider-Noir, the stylish new live-action series based on one of the coolest Spider-Man variants ever created.Nic shares how Spider Noir became one of the rare projects that turned out exactly the way he imagined it, the artistic influences behind his performance and which one of his iconic characters he'd throw into Spider Noir's world just to watch the chaos unfold.Brendan Gleeson joins me to discuss stepping into the role of Silvermane, why he decided to reinvent the character for this version of the story, working alongside Nicolas Cage and what makes Spider-Noir feel so different from traditional superhero fare.Plus, I make my case for why you should absolutely watch the series in authentic black and white. I'm not saying I'm right… but I'm right. If you're a Spider-Man fan, a Nicolas Cage fan, a Brendan Gleeson fan, a noir fan or just someone who misses when comic book adaptations took weird creative swings, this episode is for you.Let's go.If you dig the show, subscribe, rate, and share - and tell your friend who's always stealing your streaming passwords.

The Great Pretense: A Tour Through the Boneyard of the CIA's War for Drugs offers readers a journey to the boneyards of the CIA's “war for drugs” in Latin America and beyond, with all of its complexities and moral dilemmas. Conroy's book, part memoir and part exposé and thriller, is based on Conroy's lived experience over decades of reporting on national security and the illegal drug trade. It emphasizes the vital role of authentic journalism in a landscape marked with manipulation and deceit by powerful entities, such as the CIA. The book highlights the challenges of investigating the intricate relationship between intelligence operations, law enforcers and narco-traffickers. The book also reveals, with evidence, how the CIA operates in the drug war — against other U.S. agencies, or with them, and in ignoring or even enabling cartel drug trafficking — all in pursuit of intelligence-gathering and other opaque national security goals. Conroy's 40-year journalism career has focused heavily on investigative reporting — as an editor-in-chief, managing editor and reporter. His work has been published online and in print for a range of publications, including daily newspapers; alternative and business weeklies; magazines; and national online publications, such as the Daily Beast, Narco News and HousingWire. He also have appeared in investigative documentaries aired by major networks, including the BBC, CNBC, the History Channel, Prime Video and Al Jazeera-Europe. CIA assets and spies must be adept at carrying out illegal deeds overseas and then covering their tracks. That's because the CIA is breaking laws in any foreign nation in which it conducts espionage or other covert operations. CIA brass, by contrast, must concoct a public image and press narrative that conceals or deflects attention from that underlying illegal clandestine reality. It's spy culture. It keeps the gears of “The Great Pretense” in motion.

On this wildly unfiltered episode of Undressed with Pol' and Patrik, we sit down with fan-favorite couple Mark Romain and Brett Hamby from The Amazing Race for one of the funniest, most emotional, and unexpectedly deep conversations we've had in a long time with two hot guys! From surviving the chaos of reality television to navigating love, honesty, identity, and career crossroads, this episode takes us everywhere. Brett reveals the terrifying childhood accident that left him with a broken femur after being hit by a car in Pacifica (Bay Area) and how gymnastics and acrobatics became part of his healing journey. Meanwhile, Mark spills all the tea about dancing for icons like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Kesha — plus the hilarious story of Pol' accidentally talking to Christina Aguilera for 45 minutes without realizing who she was at Adrienne Maloof's Halloween party. We dive into their unforgettable experience competing on The Amazing Race, including producer drama, getting pulled over during filming, losing money in Hong Kong, surviving five intense weeks together, and learning how pressure exposes every crack — and strength — in a relationship. The conversation turns deeply personal as Mark and Brett open up about honesty in relationships, why they refuse to lie to each other, and how communication ultimately became the secret to surviving life together. Things get extra outrageous when we discuss RuPaul's Drag Race, Pol's traumatic experience appearing in drag years ago, and the hysterical story of RuPaul getting denied entry into his own premiere party because no one recognized him out of drag. We also get into queer friendships, gay relationship stereotypes, open relationships, dating shows, and why gays can sometimes be “the bitchiest people alive.” Then comes the Armenian Coffee Reading… and things take a shocking turn. Pol' immediately identifies a major emotional split in Mark's life connected to his twin brother, authenticity, and years of suppressing who he really was before embracing his true self. The reading becomes incredibly emotional as Mark admits he spent years trying to force himself into a life that never fit him. Pol' then reveals that Mark is standing at the edge of a massive life shift and urges him to reconnect with the creative calling he abandoned long ago. Brett's reading goes even deeper, uncovering unresolved emotional wounds and a hidden sadness he has spent years covering with “band-aids.” The moment becomes hauntingly emotional when Brett quietly reveals the heart shape in his coffee cup reminds him of his late mother. Between hysterical one-liners, relationship confessions, reality TV secrets, and one of the most powerful coffee readings we've had yet, this episode is funny, raw, emotional, chaotic, and completely unforgettable.
