I'm way overdue for reviewing Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets--there's several reasons for that, but I'm excited to share my thoughts on this remake--not just for the coaster but for the muppets in the park. And that's not all that's going on at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Monsters Inc. is in big build mode--everything in scaffolding and iron girders going vertical. We'll talk about the approach to this land. And then I share my emotional impressions of the new Magic of Disney Animation courtyard, which now has an opening date of September 14th, 2026. All this and more, plus a really good churro makes what's happening at this park really exciting. Join us for this Muppets Rock & Roller Coaster Review, Monsters Inc. buildout & Magic of Disney Animation Opening Date.

Leadership development is not about checking boxes. It is about building the awareness, communication, trust, and consistency required to help people grow, perform, and feel safe enough to do meaningful work. LaTonya Wilkins brings a powerful conversation on what it really means to lead below the surface. From psychological safety and culture to coaching, delegation, community, and connection across differences, this master class challenges leaders to stop treating leadership like a static skillset and start looking at how leadership is actually experienced by the people they serve. Learn how to honestly rate your leadership by asking better questions: • How clear is your communication? • How do people experience you in meetings, emails, and difficult conversations? • Are you giving people the guardrails they need without making them too tight? • Are you creating hope, trust, compassion, and stability? • Are you developing people, or just expecting them to perform? • Are burnout, churn, poor delegation, and low trust signs of a deeper leadership problem? This conversation also explores why many leadership development programs fail because they rely on outdated models, performative culture work, and initiatives that were never truly embedded into the organization. Real culture cannot be reduced to perks, titles, slogans, or temporary programs. It has to show up in how leaders communicate, make decisions, build teams, manage change, and create belonging. LaTonya also brings a needed perspective on coaching and community in a noisy market where too many people sell quick fixes without doing the real work. Strong leadership, real coaching, and healthy culture are all relationship businesses. They require trust, self-awareness, accountability, and the right people around you at every stage. For executives, founders, HR leaders, coaches, consultants, people managers, and anyone responsible for leading others, this conversation is a reminder that real leadership still wins when it is rooted in trust, development, culture, coaching, and community. It's mid summer and the right time to take a look at what's happening at Disney Parks across the globe. More is happening than you might imagine, and we want to capture all the highlights. Our family was there for all the major Fourth of July holiday events at Walt Disney World and we'll share the Red White and Blues of all of it. We'll also look at the larger attendance trends not just at Walt Disney World but at Disneyland. Many beloved attractions have been getting attention recently, and we'll take a look at what's working and maybe what isn't. It's part of Disney to draw attention to the parks to some of the rides and shows we love the most, while they are busy trying to construct major mega offerings. We'll consider the philosophy behind this from both an Imagineering and operational view. This includes recent changes focused on keeping day guests from jumping on a bus at Disney Springs. Is Disney trying to keep everyone not staying at a Disney Resort away? We'll study this, and then we'll look at efforts internationally at a number of Disney Parks. Big things are afoot and you may not know what's on its way. Join us for a big summer update at Disney Parks here and across the globe. We are here at Epcot to enter The Land Pavilion and check out the new Soarin' Across America to provide a play by play POV review of this new attraction. Note that since it has opened times can vary greatly, from 20 minutes to over 90. If you can't walk on it first thing in the morning, I recommend dinner time. If the queue is long, hover around the area doing other attractions until you see the time go down, and then scurry over. And scurry quickly because others are seeing the same. That means that while the new shake at Seasons "Smorin' Across America" is tasty, you need to focus and get in the queue while the opportunity presents itself.   Here's a link to Disney's Insider look at Soarin' Across America. Episode 248 of The Hitstreak, a podcast where we talk about anything and everything! This week we are joined by Keynote Speaker, Researcher & Author of The Million Member Church, Chestly Lunday!Episode in a Glance:In this episode of The Hitstreak, I get to sit down with Chestly Lunday, and explore the power of personal branding — especially for faith leaders — and how it serves as a tool for growth when it's rooted in character development. We dig into the awareness gap between generations, with a focus on Gen Z and their relationship with technology, and why churches and businesses alike have to adapt to a decentralized communication paradigm. Chestly makes the case that trust is built through personal relationships rather than institutions, and that engagement matters far more than attendance — advocating for actionable insights after every sermon and honest conversations around taboo topics. From there we get into consistency, learning from failure, and how biblical principles can inform modern business practices. Chestly also unpacks why curiosity is essential to leadership, the role of character development in navigating change, and why the future of evangelism and community engagement lives on digital platforms.Key Points:- Personal branding is a powerful growth tool when rooted in character development.- The awareness gap between generations is widening due to technology.- 60% of Gen Z believe faith leaders need a personal brand.- Trust is built through personal relationships, not institutions.- Engagement should be prioritized over mere attendance.- Curiosity is essential for effective leadership.- Character development is key in a decentralized age.- The future of evangelism lies in community engagement.- Adaptability is necessary in a rapidly changing environment.About our guest:Chestly Lunday has built his career at one of the most unlikely intersections in leadership — studying disruption inside the slowest-adapting institution of the last five hundred years, then translating those lessons for founders, executives, and high performers navigating a world that flips every five minutes. His core argument is as simple as it is provocative: if meaningful change can take root in an institution that has resisted it for centuries, it can take root in your organization too. He's the author of The Million Member Church, a book that turns the challenge of scaling community, loyalty, and belief into a playbook any leader can use. He also commissioned the Future of Faith research series — original data on generational trends, leadership, and the future of belief — rather than waiting for someone else to go get the numbers. That same instinct drives Ahead of the Curve, his newsletter helping leaders stay ahead of disruption, division, and relentless change.Whether he's on stage or on the page, Lunday brings hard data, sharp thinking, and a lens that most business leaders have never looked through — one that reveals what centuries of adaptation, resistance, and eventual breakthrough can teach anyone trying to build something that lasts.Follow and contact:Instagram: @chestlylchestly.comSubscribe to Nick's top-rated podcast The Hitstreak on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/NickHiterFollow and Rate us on Spotify: https://spotify.com/NickHiterFollow and Rate us on Apple Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/NickHiterFollow and Rate us on iHeartRadio: https://www.iheart.com/NickHiter

Sometimes we look at ourselves spiritually as a pauper. That's not the bottom line of the ledger. Infinite potential, That's in the heart and soul of every Jew.  Until last week, the Israelis have been living in a never-never land, a pipe dream world where the 11th Cavalry, headed by Donald Trump, would always gallop over the hill to the rescue of the Jewish people. Until last week, the Israelis have been living in a never-never land, a pipe dream world where the 11th Cavalry, headed by Donald Trump, would always gallop over the hill to the rescue of the Jewish people. What now? In 1972, Rabbi Yaakov Asher Sinclair opened SARM Studios the first 24-track recording studio in Europe where Queen mixed "Bohemian Rhapsody". His music publishing company, Druidcrest Music published the music for The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1973) and as a record producer, he co-produced the quadruple-platinum debut album by American band "Foreigner" (1976). American Top ten singles from this album included, "Feels Like The First Time", "Cold as Ice" and "Long, Long Way from Home". Other production work included "The Enid – In the Region of the Summer Stars", "The Curves", and "Nutz" as well as singles based on The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy with Douglas Adams and Richard O'Brien. Other artists who used SARM included: ABC, Alison Moyet, Art of Noise, Brian May, The Buggles, The Clash, Dina Carroll, Dollar, Flintlock, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Grace Jones, It Bites, Malcolm McLaren, Nik Kershaw, Propaganda, Rush, Rik Mayall, Stephen Duffy, and Yes. In this episode of the HR Leaders Podcast, we sit down with Dr. Marcus Collins, Best-Selling Author, Keynote Speaker and Professor at University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, to unpack why culture is the most powerful force shaping human behavior, inside and outside organizations.Marcus explains why most companies misunderstand culture by reducing it to slogans, rituals, values, or “how we do things around here.” In reality, culture starts with how people think, what they believe, how they make meaning, and what behaviors those shared beliefs produce. Most importantly, he reveals why the future of work will not be won by technology alone. It will be won by organizations that understand the culture of work, align the front stage and backstage of the business, and build environments where people are truly connected to the beliefs, behaviors, and conviction behind the work.

The Value Paradox: Why Guests Are Spending More and Forgiving Less Consumer sentiment is at an all-time low, yet people are still spending. The World Cup just kicked off on American soil. And right here in Polk County, Florida, a landmark healthcare partnership just opened its doors with a vision that every hospitality leader should study. In this episode, I unpacks the paradox reshaping restaurants, hotels, and every guest-facing business right now: guests are opening their wallets and they are less forgiving than ever when the experience falls short. The brands winning aren't the cheapest or the fanciest - they're the ones whose people make guests feel like the money was worth it. We talk about lessons from the Watson Clinic and Orlando Health ribbon cutting in Lakeland - a masterclass in designing for the future. We also talk about the FIFA World Cup as the ultimate high-stakes CX case study, with a practical playbook for host cities, hotels, restaurants, and stadium concessions operators facing surge volume, international guests, and a global spotlight. In this episode: Why value has less to do with price than you think - and the three layers that actually drive loyalty The K-shaped consumer market and what it means for your frontline team The World Cup CX playbook: cultural fluency, surge staffing, recovery, and finishing strong Three leadership moves to make this week -not next quarter Perfect for: hospitality leaders, business owners, CEOS, COOs, CX/EX professionals, operational managers, retail and service teams, training and development leaders, and anyone responsible for people and performance (and sales growth).   Book time with me to learn about our speaking, training, and consulting services: https://calendly.com/thetonyjohnson/strategy  Links & Resources:

She was brought in to kill it" — and why a 37-year veteran called it a setup-Bilton's termination letter dissected aloud — the present-tense "it is a profound disappointment," the dinner invitation framing, "performative misconduct," and the leak that contradicted its own claim about not making headlines-Pelley's written reply naming nothing personal — "new management instructed me to inject falsehoods and bias," the 19-minutes-from-not-airing specificity, and the accusation that politicians are being invited to choose correspondents-Bari Weiss's leaked CBS Morning call — "trust and mutual respect," "find a way back" — and why that single phrase handed Pelley a second statement to puncture-The Trump 60 Minutes lawsuit settlement, FCC chair Brendan Carr, and the Warner Bros acquisition as the business motive sitting under every editorial move-The three remaining full-time correspondents reportedly debating mass retirement, Megyn Kelly calling the Bilton letter "whiny," a Stephen Colbert exit comparison, and a Keith Olbermann–Tony Dokoupil sidebar nobody saw coming-This is not a broadcast-news obituary for 60 Minutes. In episode 251 of the Transition Drill Podcast, explores identity, resilience, and rebuilding after public scrutiny for veterans and first responders navigating career disruption, reputation loss, and life after service. You'll hear Kwesi Millington on what happens when one moment changes everything, and what it takes to rebuild purpose, identity, and a future when the career you expected disappears.Former RCMP officer and now resilience keynote speaker Kwesi Millington shares a story that starts far before policing and goes far beyond the incident that made international headlines.Raised in Toronto by a single mother after emigrating from Trinidad and Tobago, Kwesi describes a childhood that was ordinary by his standards. No clear career calling. No lifelong dream of becoming a police officer. He moved through school, completed a Bachelor of Commerce with a focus in finance, worked office and government jobs, and felt disconnected from the life he imagined for himself. Then one moment changed direction. Watching a police officer while walking a strike line, he realized he wanted work that put him outside, serving people and doing something that felt meaningful. That decision led him into the RCMP. He trained in Regina, Saskatchewan, entered frontline policing in British Columbia, and expected to build a long career. Instead, only a few years into service, a call at Vancouver International Airport became the defining event of his life. Kwesi walks through that night, the death that followed, the public reaction, the viral footage, internal conflict, investigations, public inquiry, and the long legal aftermath that eventually ended his policing career. But this conversation doesn't stop there.Kwesi talks openly about moral injury, accountability, identity collapse, incarceration, and the reality of trying to re-enter society carrying a criminal record and public history. He reflects on the jobs that never called back, rebuilding through personal training, and discovering that growth sometimes starts where status ends. What emerged next wasn't a return to who he was. Through fitness, Toastmasters, communication, and years of rebuilding, Kwesi found a different mission. Today he speaks to audiences on resilience, mindset, accountability, and navigating life after adversity.CONNECT WITH THE PODCAST:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/paulpantani/WEBSITE: https://www.transitiondrillpodcast.comLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/paulpantani/SIGN-UP FOR THE NEWSLETTER:https://transitiondrillpodcast.com/home#aboutQUESTIONS OR COMMENTS:paul@transitiondrillpodcast.comSPONSORS:GRND Collective: Premium, veteran-owned sportswear built for those who show up, outwork the excuses, and give 100%. AI is changing how people discover, evaluate, trust, buy, create, hire, and compete. The bigger question is whether your business model is built to survive a future where attention is fragmented, trust is harder to earn, execution is easier to automate, and buyers have more options than ever. Learn how to activate the M.A.S.S. Effect Business Model, a strategic ecosystem built around: • Media to create attention, trust, authority, and discoverability • Assets to create scalability, leverage, and income beyond your direct time • Strategy to create clarity, alignment, interpretation, and better decisions • Systems to reduce friction, support consistency, and keep the business moving Many businesses are addicted to acquisition because they never built retention. In an AI accelerated world, that becomes dangerous because information is easier to access, skills are being compressed, and execution is becoming automated. The real value now shifts toward trust, experience, clarity, influence, systems, and community. The future belongs to adaptive businesses that can evolve with the market, keep customers connected, turn trust into retention, and scale without breaking the founder, team, or customer experience. If your business grew tomorrow, could it actually hold the growth, or would the model collapse under the weight of what you asked for? It is a forensic look at why the spouse out-executed the candidate. When a campaign built on "own it, explain it, promise it" suddenly stops owning it, voters notice before pollsters do.What you'll learn:• How to tell the difference between privacy and a cover-up when a campaign says "it's handled"• Why raw, one-take video reads as truth in 2026 and a polished statement reads as guilt• What "someone else's worst" framing signals to voters, and why blaming the press accelerates the collapse• How to read a spouse's presence, posture, and word choice as the first real signal of what is actually trueYou can't blackmail someone who confesses first. Jay Ramsden is an Empty Nest Transformation Coach, Personal and Executive Coach, Motivational and Keynote Speaker, and host of This Empty Nest Life podcast. As the founder of "The Empty Nest Coach" and "This Empty Nest Life," Jay has turned his personal journey of overcoming significant life challenges into a beacon of light and hope for countless individuals who are seeking purpose and direction. He has his own experience of transitioning from Adversity to Adventure, and now he empowers Empty Nesters and Entrepreneurs to climb their own mountains. Jay's story is one of remarkable resilience and courage, losing his home to a fire in 2007, a devastating event which tested his family's strength and adaptability, dealing with the trials of the pandemic as an educator, and finally deciding to reinvent himself after a 30-year career in education. Jay's journey of transformation reached new heights when he decided to climb Mount Kilimanjaro as an empty nester. This wasn't just a physical challenge; it was a statement about what's possible when we say "YES" to life's opportunities. Jay's ascent of Kilimanjaro taught him a crucial lesson that now underpins his coaching philosophy: sometimes, you need to go slow to go fast. This insight translates powerfully to both the empty nest journey and entrepreneurial pursuits, where rushing through challenges can hinder true growth and innovation. But Jay didn't stop there. He embarked on the Camino de Santiago, a pilgrimage that further shaped his approach to life and coaching. On this journey, Jay discovered the joy of missing out (JOMO) – a concept that resonates deeply with empty nesters struggling with the fear of missing out (FOMO) on their children's lives, and with entrepreneurs learning to prioritize effectively. These experiences cemented Jay's belief that every step in life can and should be intentional, filled with purpose. Download this information-packed and inspirational episode to hear Jay's remarkable journey and discover how we can all transform our lives, say "YES" to life's opportunities, transform ourselves from Adversity to Adventure, and climb our own mountains. Marketing leaders are being asked to drive more growth with less budget, fewer resources, tighter timelines, and more pressure from every direction while AI is being treated like the shortcut to replace entire marketing teams. But AI will not fix bad strategy, weak alignment, poor customer understanding, or broken marketing fundamentals. In part two of this master class conversation with Matt Hummel, CMO of Pipeline360, the focus moves into what it really takes to become the kind of CMO AI cannot replace. Not by chasing every new tool, adding more MarTech, or hiding behind automation, but by understanding the business as a whole, building trust across departments, speaking the language of revenue, and creating alignment between marketing, sales, product, leadership, and the customer. To lead marketing in a volatile market where expectations keep rising and the old playbook is no longer enough, you need to know how to: • Make sales an ally instead of your bitter rival • Build shared pipeline ownership across marketing and sales  • Communicate risk without becoming defensive • Connect marketing decisions to the larger goals of the business • Set clearer expectations with your team and leadership • Understand resource constraints without using them as excuses • Stay close to customers while leading strategy • Create momentum without pretending there is an easy button The best marketing leaders are not just managing campaigns, tools, reports, and dashboards. They are translating complexity into strategy the business can trust. The reminder is clear: AI will not fix bad strategy. More MarTech will not fix bad marketing. The CMO AI cannot replace is the one who understands the business, earns trust, aligns with sales, leads the team, knows the customer, and gets back to real marketing when everyone else is hiding behind tools. CMOs and marketing leaders are often expected to create immediate pipeline, prove instant ROI, fix deeper business issues they did not create, defend brand investment, align sales, understand customers, translate strategy across the organization, and still become one of the first functions questioned, blamed, or cut when growth slows. In part one of this master class conversation, Matt Hummel, CMO of Pipeline360, brings a clear reminder back to the table: great marketing starts with trusting the buyer, knowing the customer, and simplifying how you market. In a market obsessed with performance data, attribution, automation, dark social, buyer signals, and immediate results, more complexity does not automatically create better customer understanding. For aspiring CMOs, current CMOs, marketing leaders, founders, and business owners, this conversation is a valuable look at how to lead marketing without getting trapped in the pressure cooker. It challenges you to rethink what it really means to put the customer at the center, not as a tagline, not as another automation workflow, and not as another dashboard filled with signals, but as a deeper responsibility to understand the person, pressure, timing, risk, and decision behind the purchase. The conversation moves through buyer trust, brand versus demand, customer empathy, attribution, sales alignment, CMO pressure, market timing, and the difference between chasing pipeline and building LTV. It is also a reminder to get out of your lane, understand product, spend time with sales, listen to customers, and learn how the whole business works. Because the best CMOs are not just campaign operators. They are translators, mediators, trust builders, and business leaders who know how to connect marketing to revenue, customer experience, and long term growth. AI has made it easier than ever to move faster, produce more, automate workflows, and build leaner systems, but speed alone does not create sustainable growth. Part one of this connected conversation challenges the belief that constant sacrifice, permanent sprint mode, and “all gas, no brakes” ambition should be the default path for entrepreneurs, founders, creators, and growth-minded leaders trying to grow faster with AI. The danger is not just moving faster. The danger is believing faster means you can handle more without consequence. AI can support execution, ideation, communication, and productivity, but it cannot replace judgment, self-trust, infrastructure, recovery, or the human capacity required to sustain what you are building. A necessary sprint is different from self-abandonment. A sprint has a reason, a start, a finish, a communication plan, a recovery plan, and a purpose everyone understands. Permanent sacrifice has no finish line, no recovery plan, and often leaves your health, family, peace, relationships, and capacity quietly paying the invoice. Challenge yourself to “Face Your Actual 24” and not your fantasy version of productivity. Look honestly at what your day requires, what needs protection, what needs to move forward, and where AI can support your systems without becoming a substitute for discipline, boundaries, discernment, or real infrastructure. Growth should include “pockets of sunshine” inside the life you are actually living, not just a future version of success you hope will finally give you permission to breathe. This is not anti-AI, anti-growth, or anti-ambition. It is a wake-up call to stop treating sacrifice as the strategy. Growth should not require losing yourself, your family, your health, or your peace in the process, because if the business grows but the life around it breaks, what are you really building? The culture is obsessed with speed, scale, lean teams, massive output, and automation, but faster output does not automatically mean better direction. In part two of this connected conversation, the focus shifts to the missing human layer underneath AI-powered growth and the belief that more content, more automation, and more velocity always lead to better outcomes. Using S³ Growth Streams™ as the operating lens, you will learn how to strategize before accelerating, synergize before scaling, and systemize before sprinting forever. More importantly, you will see how to separate signal from noise, align tools with real human capacity, and build repeatable rhythms that support growth without requiring constant sacrifice. This episode is not anti-AI, anti-hustle, or anti-ambition. It is anti-default sacrifice, anti-permanent sprint, and anti-output without awareness. It also challenges the obsession with flow state by introducing five operating states that support sustainable growth: capture, clarity, commitment, flow, and reflection. Because flow is not the whole game. Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is capture the signal, get clarity, commit to the right action, recover, reflect, and return to baseline before sprinting again. The goal is not to become more machine-like. The goal is to become more intentionally human while using machines wisely.
