https://enlighteninglife.com/april-2025-energy-reportDon't get too comfy thinking that March is over and you can relax because April is another action filled month and we also have to deal with the fallout from the March eclipses and energy moves and shifts. We're still in Aries season so action is the theme even with Mars in Cancer, chugging towards Leo and its upcoming showdown with Pluto (again) which happens in April. And we have a few more action elements in April that come into play so keep your intentions high and your lights bright because this is a stand up, show up, and lights up month.April is a 4 month in numerology as April is the 4th month and 2025 is a 9 year, 4 + 9 = 13 and 1 + 3 = 4. 4 is the number of stability, completion, and closure. It represents security, knowledge, confidence, and structure. There are 4 cardinal directions – East, West, North, and South, and 4 elements in the earth – Earth, Wind, Air, Fire. Think of 4 legs on a table or a chair, 4 wheels on a car. A square has 4 sides and it can be a box to stand on so we can rise above to the next level or a prison that keeps us penned in. With the 1 and 3 of this month's 4 vibe, we can take the creative energy of March and take action in a balanced and stable way. No rushing out of the starting gate so typical of Aries, this is considered, measured, purposeful action, aligned with our intention. The downfall of the 4 is being too rigid and stable, set in their ways, stubborn, and unchangeable. 4 is at its worst when it is trying to be all things to all people, scattering resources, and lacking focus. Those are the elements that can make April a challenging month for some, especially those who get overwhelmed by all of the energy and try to hide out or stay the same because they fear change.April begins with the energy of March resonating very loudly – the entry of Neptune into Aries and the March 29 eclipse. Those two events have long term effects so just because we are in a new month doesn't mean they go away. That just creates an energy signature for April. On April 7 Mercury goes direct and on April 12 Venus goes direct. Then the big event of April (one of them anyway) is Mars going into Leo (again) on April 17 and engaging in its ‘power to the people' moment with Pluto as it did in most of December and January. And that isn't all because in June Mars will be in Aquarius, meeting up with Pluto again. Then the Mars/Pluto connections will be over for the rest of the year. Before we continue with the rest of the month's details I have to share something funny with you. I was thinking about all of the release work and shifting we have had to do as we choose between our ascension path and our karma because they really are not on the same plane. We have to decide where we are going to focus our energy. The problem is that avoiding the karma path means doing so much release work (note that I did not say ‘forgiveness' work) that it can be exhausting and discouraging. How can we engage in that level of release work and move forward? Then I thought of goats, that we have to be more like goats. If you know anything about them, goats are remarkable animals. They are smart, nimble, can jump very high, and scale the highest peaks. Goats are ruminants, like cows, and they have a voracious appetite. Goats will eat anything, and a lot of it. They will clear out the weeds, brambles, and anything green in a large space in a matter of hours. They have thick skin that even the toughest thorns cannot pierce and one of their favorite foods is poison ivy.How do goats manage to eat so much? Because they have an extremely fast metabolism and they ‘poop' as they eat. If you hire a herd of goats to do pasture or field clearing, something that has become very popular in recent years, they will clear out the weeds and any greenery and fertilize the field at the same time. They are the epitome of the saying ‘food goes in one end and out the other' and it happens quickly with them.So if we are like goats we assess situations, consider our choices, and make our decisions to release as we move along. We do not need to spend days or weeks considering a move that we know could have happened months or years ago. The behavior we see in people now is probably no different than anything they have done for a very long time. We are seeing it from a different perspective today but they have not changed. Our choice involves whether we want that behavior in our life right now and that answer is usually no.The energy theme of April is Reconstruction but this is more like the phoenix rising from the ashes than trying to salvage the bricks from your old house to build your new house. If parts of your life have not been totally decimated since January, you may not be paying attention or you have already gone through that process in the past 5 plus years. If they have, count yourself lucky because it's time to rebuild from a new blueprint.Read the rest of the article on the blog at enlighteninglife.com Created, narrated, and produced by Jennifer Hoffman.Artwork by Jennifer Hoffman.Copyright (C) 2004-2025 by Jennifer Hoffman, all US and international rights reserved.Visit enlighteninglife.com for more information. Please note our policies regarding copyright infringement, content misuse, and theft of intellectual property. Kurt Rosenwinkel, a Philadelphia-born jazz guitarist, is renowned for blending genres and using guitar effects innovatively in jazz. His latest release, The Next Step Band (Live at Smalls, 1996), revisits the music from his acclaimed 2001 album The Next Step and features longtime collaborators Mark Turner, Ben Street, and Jeff Ballard. In addition to his album, Rosenwinkel has published Kurt Rosenwinkel's Ultimate Book of Compositions, which includes scores, tabs, and commentary on his extensive work. He founded his label, Heartcore, in 2016 to release Caipi and take control of his career, likening the label's creation to playing a "record company" video game. His current projects include arranging for the Jazz at Lincoln Center Big Band, collaborating with Wynton Marsalis, and recording a Brahms interpretation following the success of The Chopin Project.

An early-stage start-up, Britive, that brings privileged access control to a multi-cloud world, has announced a $10 million Series A. The investment was led by Crosslink Capital, with participation from previous investors, Upfront Ventures, and One Way Ventures. The company helps automate permission-ing across multiple cloud vendors, and software services, whether that involves a human or a machine, that is seeking permission. The company currently has 40 employees, a number that Britive expects to double, in the next 12 months, as they put this capital to work. Unbounce, a Vancouver start-up known for helping marketers create automated landing pages, announced that it has acquired Snazzy dot AI, an early-stage automated copywriting start-up. Unbounce's Chief Strategy Officer, Tamara Grominsky, says that her company focuses on helping customers convert their customers into sales, and with Snazzy, it gets some pretty nifty technology, based on GPT-3 artificial intelligence technology. The product is aimed at the marketing generalist, charged with overseeing landing pages, and who is responsible for a range of tasks including writing copy. Upstream, a new professional networking platform, just closed a $2.75 million seed round, bringing their total raised to $3.25 million. The round was led by Ibex Investors, and managing partner Nicole Priel. The investment also includes participation from 8-Bit Capital, Human Ventures, NYVP, Converge Venture Partners, and a few angel investors. Unlike LinkedIn, Upstream focuses on generating meaningful connections between its members, and one way they go about it, is by hosting digital events, that start with a speaker, followed by breakout matched sessions, that are five minutes each.Fintech start-up Pipe, which aims to be the “Nasdaq for revenue”  had raised $150 million in a round of funding that was closed in March. Now, the Miami-based Start-up confirms that it has actually raised, $250 million at a $2 billion valuation in a round that was massively oversubscribed. More than 4,000 companies have signed up on the Pipe trading platform since its public launch in June 2020, with just over 1,000 of those signing up since its March raise. Pipe's platform assesses a customer's key metrics, by integrating with its accounting, payment processing, and banking systems. It then instantly rates the performance of the business and qualifies them for a trading limit. Forecast, a start-up that uses artificial intelligence to both reads, and integrates data from different enterprise applications, to build a bigger picture of the project, and potential outcomes have raised $19 million. Headquartered in London, the company plans to use some of the funding to expand to the U.S., and some to continue building out its platform and business. This funding, a Series A, comes less than a year after the start-up's commercial launch, and it was led by Balderton Capital, with previous investors Crane Ventures Partners, SEED Capital, and Heartcore also participating. Düsseldorf-based prop-tech start-up, Dabbel, is using AI to drive energy efficiency savings in commercial buildings. It's developed cloud-based self-learning building management software, that plugs into the existing building management systems, taking over control of heating and cooling systems, in a way that's more dynamic than legacy systems, based on fixed set-point resets. Dabbel says its AI considers factors such as building orientation, and thermal insulation, and reviews calibration decisions every five minutes, meaning it can respond dynamically to changes in outdoor and indoor conditions. Founded in 2018, the start-up claims this approach of layering AI-powered predictive modeling, atop legacy BMS to power next-gen building automation, is able to generate substantial energy savings, touting reductions in energy consumption of up to 40%. European start-up studio, e-Founders states that the portfolio companies have reached a valuation of $2 billion together — only 18 months after reaching $1 billion. E-Founders says it is focused on building the future of work. In practical terms, it means the company is building B2B SaaS start-ups, with a focus on productivity, and workflows. For instance, Front, Aircall, and Spendesk all started with e-Founders. When e-Founders comes up with a new project, they act as a sort of third co-founder. The start-up studio tries to find a CEO and a CTO. In exchange for a third of equity, the e-Founders core team helps take the project off the ground. When the start-up raises a seed round, e-Founders move on from day-to-day activities and focuses on new projects. And it has been working well. With 30 portfolio companies, there are now 1,500 people working for an e-Founders-backed company. Combined, they generate $131 million in annual recurring revenue.

Trauma, Energy and Emotional Black Holes

High Vibes Living with Jennifer

Play Episode Listen Later Nov 12, 2020 37:04

Have you ever been just sitting around, minding your own business, and then you get a phone call or text that sends you into an emotional tsunami? Suddenly your life, which you thought was just fine a minute before, is now in emotional overdrive and you are so upset, angry, unclear, or sad that you spiral into a negative emotional funk. Or you’re listening to the radio and a song plays that reminds you of your first heartbreak and you cry for days? What just happened? Your emotional energy got set in motion because a connection was made to an emotional black hole which stirred up its energy and it sent you into a tailspin. Now you have to find the source of that emotional black hole and heal and release it so you can bring in new energies.Emotional black holes are, contrary to what you may think, not places where we have no emotional energy. They are places in our emotional body where, like black holes in the universe, we have a concentration of very dense energy, a reservoir which contains all of our unhealed emotional trauma which is our soul wounds.  Our most painful emotional memories, in current and previous lives, represent our biggest emotional black holes, and they are powerful forces of dense, negative energy. And like black holes in space they drain energy away from everything in our lives. They can turn our best times into sad events because they are a constant reminder of a painful past. And they have strong trigger points that can be easily activated by the smallest event or situation.Emotional black holes work in two ways – they suck in energy as we try to find an antidote for the pain we are feeling, and they alter our energy body so that all of our energy mirrors their energy. The greater the trauma, the more we are impacted by the frequency and vibration of our emotional black holes. Think of a giant vacuum cleaner that sucks all of the joy, peace, and good things from your life. Do you create the vacuum so you won't risk being disappointed if things don't work out for you? Emotional black hole trauma is based on past experience so they have a basis in fact and truth. How do you know you have an emotional black hole?1. you are easily triggered by anything that brings up this emotion. 2. You do a lot to avoid any interaction that refers to this emotional trauma.3. You feel powerless and helpless when this happens, even to the point of detaching or fracturing yourself from your energy field when you get triggered.4. You are immediately sent back to the past and to the experiences that created this trauma.5. You may also have a vague memory of this trauma since it has been part of your past life experience for lifetimes but you aren’t clear about what it is, you just know that you are either afraid of that emotion, you avoid it, or you And they are also the spaces we try to fill when we reach out for new relationships and look for people to love us. We hope they will fill the emotional black hole for us but, as you have probably already experienced, all they do is make the hole bigger because and they cannot give us something that we do not already have within us.How does this work? Imagine you have a realationship history that includes dealing with betrayal by someone you trust. The trauma associated with betrayal creates an emotional black hole that will create trust issues and fear of betrayal in every situation. But you will also be attracted to people who will betray you because this is something you want to heal and you will try to do that with someone who is capable of betraying you. You’l repeat this behavior until you decide to do your own healing work by yourself, before engagine in a relationship. We receive and process universal energy through our emotional body and we are moving energy around all of the time. But our emotional black holes are a constant reminder of the pain we can experience when we take emotional risks or open our hearts to the potential for love. So we create an energetic comfort zone and we move energy in small amounts and within the same frequency and vibration, usually around the energy of our emotional black holes. Then when we need to actually make a big shift and transform our old emotional energy, which means acknowledging it and consciously and intentionally releasing it from our energy body so another energy can take its place, something must get our attention. So we create a life event that allows us to see where we are limiting our energy movement and which energy requires a major multi-dimensional move instead of a tiny, comfortable displacement. And when we need to shift the energy of our emotional black holes, the reminders arrive in hard to ignore ways that trigger every aspect. But when we ask for a transformation we get what we need to power up the change-mobile. Now we just have to do the work to implement the change in our life. This is where we either stand up or give up, where we must be willing to trust that we won’t fall if we try to soar into the joy, peace, love, and abundance that we want in our lives. Our emotional black holes drain us and create a strong negative vibration that impacts all of our energy. Releasing them allows more fulfilling energy to enter our energy fields and become integrated in our lives. This is really important because your emotional black hole energy is so dense that it infiltrates every part of your life. It is not concentrated in a single area. If you have trust issues you’ll distrust everyone while at the same time giving your trust to the untrustworthy in an attempt to heal this emotion. If you have abuse issues you will If this is more noticeable to you know it is because we are experiencing such high frequency and vibration energy downloads that all of our negative energy is being triggered and we need to be willing to release it to make room for a higher vibration. This is an important part of our ascension journey and being willing to do this level of healing, clearing, releasing, and transformation is a courageous step in that direction.

How to Buy and Sell a Home Using None of Your Own Money with Shanda Sumpter

This conversation with Shanda Sumpter changed my life. For the first half of the episode, she teaches us how to grow a business to 10-figures (which, of course, she has done with. See Heartcore Business. The rest of the episode, she teaches us how to buy and sell a home using none of your own money. It was so powerful because it was so actionable, so I had to go back and listen and write down a bunch of notes. There was so much gold I couldn’t keep type fast enough! I would be furiosuly typing away while the audio played, then Shanda would say something else that I wanted to write down and I’d have to pause. It was crazy. See all my takeaways below in the form of scattered and abbreviated notes:How to grow your business to 10-figuresEmpower the right leaders within the company to run different platforms and departments. “Who is the person I need to hire for that?” Shift to being about leadership.Use Indeed and write ads to the exact person you want to hire. “This is where we want to go.” Share the vision. Articulate it and you will attract good people…Shanda’s pitch: If you’re addicted to your phone, a workaholic, obsessed with results, and constantly studying your craft. You forgot that you hit your goal because you already are working on the next. If that’s you, keep reading. If not, stop because you will hate this job.Pay higher on the back end. Incentive ambitious people. You get paid every month for 12 months on one sale.Sales trainer paid 2% override and for every hire that stays 90 days.Increase the price point. Package it with how to build email list, business around it, etc. (regarding my business, Trend Up Media)Incentivize people to pay in full because you can invest that upfront cash in new hires and bigger reach.Hire a sales manager/trainer to hire and train salespeople. 8-10 sales per salesperson per month minimum. Now I focus on lead gen, marketing, fulfillment/operationThe sales department puts pressure on the marketing department to deliver which then becomes an accountability game for me as an entrepreneur to grow my company.A sales director that wants to make money that grows the team to X number of people… How do I create the leads for them that are qualified? Reinvent the packages to grow this much bigger.Quote from Shanda: “People who are saying nobody’s buying right now don’t know how to take a prospect and shape them into a customer. Anyone who knows how to do that knows right now is a great time to be online.”How to generate life-changing wealth during a down economyPay yourself first – $X per month automatically deposited into a savings account to buy things with.Think outside the box – Buy properties using none of your own money. Reach out to homeowners and say, “I’ll take over the monthly payment and in two years I’ll have this house off your hands or you can have it back.” Wealth transfers.Quote from Shanda: “People are trying to work their way to millions and that is ignorance. That is an employee mindset. You don’t work yourself to millions; You leverage yourself to make millions.”Google “lease option”. It’s rent to own.If you’re going to rent it, you might as well rent to own it.Promissory note – A signed document containing a written promise to pay a stated sum to a specified person or the bearer at a specified date or on demand.Have to be making offers on a regular basis.Quote from Shanda: “If you are comfortable, you are in a very dangerous position.”Quote from Shanda: “If you think you’re just going to work for the rest of your life and you are going to make millions and every year is going to be amazing, you are sadly mistaken.”Quote from Shanda: “If you grow at the level you make money, you are making a mistake. You don’t want to die with an 800 credit score. That’s dumb. You want to use your credit to get access to cash to put money down on marketing campaigns that are working.”Say, “I buy homes cash. I will take over your house payment.” Put signs out at busy intersections.Call and make offers. Ask:How much money do you owe on it?How much equity is in the house? Then…Tie up the home.Sell the home to an investor.Take a finder’s fee on the property.Control the property.Google local investment groups.Bird-dogging deals.Bird dog fees. You want to be so well grounded on how to create cash so you never have money be your boss. You have to master money for your life. You can’t ever stop at your capacity for time or money.Start tracking your time by the hour.Do you start with a plan at the beginning of the day? Do you know what you are going to produce every hour? What am I going to produce this hour? Did I do it? Yes or no?Google these:“What is a bird dog in real estate?”“How do you find real estate investors?”“Real estate investment groups”Don’t be afraid to do other countries. Buy in the UK because your money is worth more.Ask real estate investment groups, “What are you educating your group on? I want to know in case I come across any deals you guys might want.”They say, “We like pre-construction real estate”Go to developers. Say “my buyers want this deal. They want 30% discount on the property. They want this, that, the other thing. Can you create this deal?”They create the deal.I bring it back to the investment group and say, “Do you want this deal? My developer said he would do this.”They say yes. The deal is brokered together and I take a finder’s fee on it.Questions? Reach out to Shanda on Instagram. She’ll respond.Shanda Sumpter bio:Shanda Sumpter is the Queen Visionary of HeartCore Business – a training company on the brink of hitting eight figures designed to give entrepreneurs the powerful systems they can use to share their gift and use those gifts to create profitable, sustainable businesses.Today, Shanda is a dynamic speaker, trainer, and business coach, as well as a bestselling author and owner of a multi-million-dollar business and a wife and mom with plenty of time for family, self-development, hobbies, and rest. Candyce Ossefort-Russell went from having a healthy husband to a dead husband in a matter of two months. A bizarre heart-consuming virus was at the root of it all, taking Candyce's husband out of her life forever on Valentine's Day, 1992. Her loss drove her to become a therapist where she sits with others in their darkness and does a boatload of research on the biological science of grief and grieving. This week we're doling out facts for grievers and the people who love them, and talking about handling a grief anniversary on Valentine's Day. Also on the show, I'm talking about recapturing your creativity after a loss. Et af spørgsmålene er; ”What do you give your heart away to?
