Mit Krankenhaus easy sollen Versicherte ohne Gesundheitsprüfung eine Unterbringung im Ein- oder Zweibettzimmer erhalten. Bei Premium kommt die privatärztliche Behandlung durch Chefärzte und Spezialisten dazu. Mit Krankenhaus Premium Plus wird ein Tarif mit identischen Leistungen und zusätzlich inkludierten Altersrückstellungen angeboten. Ergo startet neue betriebliche Altersversorgung Die Ergo will mit dem Produkt Betriebs-Rente Dynamik die betriebliche Altersversorgung einfacher gestalten. Dazu habe der Versicherer einen modularen Baukasten entwickelt. Zu den Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten gehören unter anderem flexible Garantieniveaus zwischen 60 und 100 Prozent. Beim Sicherungsvermögen werde ein Schwerpunkt auf Nachhaltigkeitsaspekte gelegt. Dieses so mit 75 Prozent die höchste SFDR-Quote aller Versicherer in Deutschland aufweisen. Versicherer fordern besseren Brandschutz auf Schiffen Der Gesamtverband der Deutschen Versicherungswirtschaft (GDV) hat sich für einen besseren Brandschutz auf Schiffen ausgesprochen. „Die Feuerlöschsysteme haben mit der Größenentwicklung der Schiffe in den vergangenen Jahrzehnten nicht Schritt gehalten. Die Besatzungen arbeiten teilweise noch mit Technik aus den 1950er-Jahren“, sagte GDV-Hauptgeschäftsführer Jörg Asmussen. Angesichts eines Gesamtwertes von bis zu einer Milliarde Euro müssen Schiff und Ladung besser geschützt werden, so Asmussen weiter. A pesquisa foi realizada por meio da Universidade de Vila Velha (UVV), teve início em 2020 e foi finalizada no começo deste ano. O estudo revelou que o café conilon produzido em solo capixaba possui teores mais altos de cafeína e dos princípios ativos chamados de "ácidos clorogênicos", uma substância nativa do café que faz bem à saúde, reduzindo o colesterol, por exemplo. No caso da especialidade conilon, a medida desta substância chega a quase o dobro da presente no café arábica. O estudo foi realizado durante 90 dias. Por esse período, os pacientes consumiram no mínimo duas xícaras de 200 ml de café conilon por dia. "O nosso estudo demonstrou, pela primeira vez, que o consumo regular de café com altas quantidades de AGCs e cafeína melhora as funções cognitivas e reduz o estresse oxidativo, sem alterar os parâmetros sanguíneos que indicam possíveis sinais de toxicidade em órgãos-alvo clássicos", é citado na pesquisa. So sind nun im neuen Kernschutz auch Autofahren, das Nutzen von Bus und Bahn und geistige Fähigkeiten enthalten. Generation Z und Finanzen: Ein Viertel hatte Kontakt mit Inkasso Mitglieder der Generation Z sind junge Erwachsene und damit unerfahrener beim Thema Schulden als andere Generationen. Dennoch hat es knapp die Hälfte der Befragten (45%) schon einmal verpasst, eine Rechnung zu zahlen und erhielt daraufhin eine Zahlungserinnerung. Nahezu ein Viertel der Befragten (23%) wurde bereits von einem Inkassounternehmen kontaktiert. Werden die letzten zwölf Monate betrachtet, summiert sich der Kaufkraftverlust in Deutschland auf mehr als 234,6 Milliarden Euro. Bemerkenswert ist zudem, dass das Einlagevolumen pro Kopf 2023 erstmals seit über einem Jahrzehnt rückläufig sein dürfte. Die Experten von Tagesgeldvergleich.net prognostizieren einen Betrag von 32.124 Euro pro Kopf. Im Vorjahr lag der Wert noch bei ca. 32.238 Euro. Porsche setzt auf HDI Die HDI Versicherung ist Versicherer und Risikoträger der Porsche CarPolicy Flex, einem neuen Versicherungsprodukt des Porsche Versicherungsdienstes. Über die Telematikversicherung haben Fahrer von aktuellen Porsche-Modellen der Baureihen 911, Panamera, Cayenne und Taycan die Möglichkeit, für Ihr Fahrzeug einen Versicherungsschutz abzuschließen, der ihre individuelle Fahrleistung berücksichtigt. Die Prämie setzt sich dabei aus einer monatlichen Grundgebühr und einer Prämie für die gefahrenen Kilometer zusammen. Der Versicherungsnehmer benötigt dafür keine zusätzliche Hardware. R+V zahlt rund 13 Millionen Euro Cashback aus Knapp 500.000 Kunden der R+V Versicherung erhalten Geld zurück, weil sie 2022 einen günstigen Schadenverlauf hatten. Das 2020 gestartete Cashback-Programm der R+V Versicherung belohnt Mitglieder von Genossenschaftsbanken, die einen Mitglieder-Plus-Vertrag abgeschlossen haben. Bei einem günstigen Schadenverlauf, erstattet der Wiesbadener Versicherer im Folgejahr bis zu zehn Prozent der eingezahlten Versicherungsbeiträge zurück. In diesem Jahr zahlt die R+V insgesamt rund 13 Millionen Euro Beiträge für das Jahr 2022 zurück. Ammerländer macht weniger Gewinn Die Ammerländer Versicherung hat die Brutto-Beitragseinnahmen im Geschäftsjahr 2022 um 10,55 Prozent auf 80,81 Millionen Euro steigern können. Der Gewinn nach Steuern fiel mit 1,45 Mio. Euro dennoch deutlich geringer aus als im Vorjahr (2021: 3,40 Mio. Euro). Vorbehaltlich der Zustimmung der Mitgliedervertreterversammlung wird der Gewinn der Verlustrücklage zugeführt. Die Mitgliederzahl ist um mehr als sieben Prozent gewachsen. Wie schon in den vergangenen Jahren bleibt die Hausratsparte die beitragsstärkste. Wachstumsmotor ist aber nach wie vor die Fahrrad-Vollkaskoversicherung.

She has worked in various functions, including marketing, communications, IT, and Claims. These experiences, coupled with a master's degree in Organizational Management and Development and 17+ years in HR, honed her interest in the drivers of positive corporate culture, including leadership, trust and transparency, and organizational design as it relates to accountability and decision-making.   Currently, she is the regional head of HR for the US, Canada, and Bermuda for Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS). She manages all aspects of HR, from benefits ($54M+ budget, 32 benefits plans) to HRIS/payroll (22 vendors, 28 system interfaces) to development and employee relations (~1400 employees). Ms. Leadley joined Allianz in 1999 at its property & casualty company, Fireman's Fund, where she was in the marketing department. From there, she spent two years in IT, developing web application standards and becoming a usability expert, and then moved to Claims building the Claims Academy. All three roles involved significant change management efforts. In 2005, she moved to the Allianz headquarters in Munich to lead three global HR IT projects, including talent and performance management, e-learning, and e-recruiting. Abstract: Mammalian hippocampal circuits undergo extensive remodeling through adult neurogenesis. While this process has been widely studied, the specific contribution of adult-born granule cells (aGCs) to spatial operations in the hippocampus remains unknown. Here we show that optogenetic activation of 4-week-old (young) aGCs in free-foraging mice produces a non-reversible reconfiguration of spatial maps in proximal CA3, while rarely evoking neural activity. Stimulation of the same neuronal cohort on subsequent days recruits CA3 neurons with increased efficacy but fails to induce further remapping. In contrast, stimulation of 8-week-old (mature) aGCs can reliably activate CA3 cells but produce no alterations in spatial maps. Our results reveal a unique role of young aGCs in remodeling CA3 representations, a potential that can be depleated and is lost with maturation. W&W-Gruppe erreicht Rekordergebnis Die Wüstenrot & Württembergische-Gruppe hat das Geschäftsjahr 2021 mit einem Rekordüberschuss im Konzern abgeschlossen. Das IFRS-Konzernergebnis betrug 352,2 Millionen Euro. Das ist eine Steigerung von 67 Prozent zum Vorjahreswert. Dazu beigetragen hätten unter anderem wachsende Bruttobeiträge in der Personenversicherung sowie teilweise sehr deutliche Zuwächse im Neugeschäft. Auch das Kreditneugeschäftsvolumen in der Baufinanzierung legte deutlich um 12,5 Prozent zu. Nachhaltigkeit in der Geldanlage 84 Prozent der Deutschen fürchten finanzielle Folgen des Klimawandels. Gleichzeitig gewinnt bei der Geldanlage das Thema Nachhaltigkeit immer stärker an Bedeutung, dies geben mehr als die Hälfte der Befragten an. Dementsprechend ist die Nachfrage nach Nachhaltigkeitsfonds von 17 Prozent im vergangenen Jahr auf 28 Prozent in diesem Jahr gestiegen. Das geht aus der aktuellen Gothaer-Anlegerstudie hervor. Die Themen im heutigen Versicherungsfunk Update sind: DFV steigert Beiträge deutlich Die Deutsche Familienversicherung hat im Geschäftsjahr 2021 die gebuchten Bruttobeiträge um 35 Prozent auf 155 Millionen Euro steigern können. Allein die Beiträge in der Sachversicherung hätten sich um 43 Prozent erhöht. Zwar verbesserte sich die Combined Ratio um 5,0 Prozentpunkte. Dennoch liegt diese bei 104,6 Prozent. Auch beim Konzernergebnis vor Steuern konnte sich das Unternehmen verbessern. Doch auch hier steht mit einem Minus von 0,8 Millionen Euro ein defizitäres Ergebnis. Allianz versichert Oscar-Nominierte Der Industrieversicherer der Allianz-Gruppe versichert in diesem Jahr fünf von insgesamt zehn Oscar-Nominierungen in der Kategorie „Bester Film“. Insgesamt haben Filmproduktionen, die Versicherungsschutz der AGCS erhalten haben, in diesem Jahr 31 Oscar-Nominierungen eingespielt. Spezial-Policen als Mangelware Weniger als die Hälfte der Unternehmen in der Anlagen- und Maschinenbaubranche besitzt eine Betriebshaftpflichtversicherung. Mit 28,5 Prozent haben noch weniger Betriebe einen Berufshaftpflichtschutz. Nur 36,5 Prozent der befragten Unternehmen gaben außerdem an, eine Sachversicherung abgeschlossen zu haben und lediglich 36 Prozent einen Schutz gegen Cyber- und Datenrisiken. Außerdem haben sich nur ein Drittel der Befragten mit einer speziell auf die Branche zugeschnittenen Police gegen digitale Gefahren abgesichert. Das geht aus einer Umfrage der Hiscox hervor. Liechtenstein Life mit neuem Rekordergebnis Die Liechtenstein Life hat die gebuchten Bruttoprämien im vergangenen Jahr um 34 Prozent auf über 203 Millionen Euro steigern können. Das Jahresergebnis habe sich um 27 Prozent auf 8,0 Millionen Euro verbessert. Nachhaltigkeit bei Vorsorgeprodukten Für 57 Prozent der Menschen in Deutschland ist Nachhaltigkeit ein wichtiges Kriterium bei der Wahl eines Vorsorgeproduktes. Im Vergleich zu anderen Werten hinkt die Nachhaltigkeit aber noch hinterher: Denn für 95 Prozent der Befragten ist die Seriosität des Anbieters das wichtigste Kriterium. 82 Prozent legen großen Wert auf die Flexibilität. Die Sicherheit ist für 79 Prozent der Menschen in Deutschland wichtig. Das ergab eine forsa-Umfrage im Auftrag von CosmosDirekt. Canada Life spendet Als Zeichen der Solidarität mit den Menschen in der Ukraine, spenden die Gesellschaften der Canada Life-Gruppe in Europa 250.000 Euro. Die Spende geht an UNICEF, das Kinderhilfswerk der Vereinten Nationen. Darüber hinaus, hat die Canada Life-Gruppe in Europa eine Mitarbeiter-Spende initiiert, um den Spendenbetrag weiter zu erhöhen.

Die Nachfrage nach Anschlussfinanzierungen wirkt sich auch auf die durchschnittliche Darlehenshöhe aus. Denn die durchschnittliche Darlehenshöhe im Februar sinkt auf 307.000 Euro. Im Januar lag sie noch bei 317.000 Euro. Das geht aus dem Dr. Klein Trendindikator Baufinanzierung hervor. Canada Life durchbricht Milliarden-Grenze Der Lebensversicherer Canada Life hat im vergangenen Jahr die gebuchten Bruttobeiträge um 15 Prozent auf 1,01 Milliarde Euro steigern können. Die Neugeschäftsbeiträge hätten um 45 Prozent auf 361 Millionen Euro zulegen können. Überdies seien die Bereiche privaten Altersvorsorge mit Plus 25 Prozent und betriebliche Altersvorsorge mit Plus 26 Prozent deutlich gewachsen. Corona veränderte Sicherheitsbewusstsein Die Erfahrungen während der Corona-Pandemie führten zu einem veränderten Sicherheitsbewusstsein. Auslöser dafür waren unter anderem Einkommensausfälle oder der notwendige Rückgriff auf finanzielle Reserven. Als Reaktion darauf gewinnt der Aufbau eines größeren Finanzpuffers für fast jeden Dritten an Bedeutung. Das zeigt die jüngste Studie des Deutschen Instituts für Altersvorsorge. Munich Re zieht sich aus Russland-Geschäft zurück Wie der Rückversicherer mitteilte, ist das Neugeschäft in Russland und Belarus eingestellt. Bestehende Verträge in beiden Ländern werden nicht erneuert. Analog werde mit Kapitalanlagen in der Region verfahren, so Munich Re. Zudem spendet Munich Re an die internationalen Hilfsorganisationen Save the Children, Rotes Kreuz und SOS Kinderdörfer, um die Not der Kriegsflüchtlinge zu mindern. AXA XL ernennt Regional Manager in Europa AXA XL hat zwei neue Regional Manager in Europa. Peter Knaus wurde zusätzlich zu seiner Funktion als Country Manager Germany zum Regional Manager Northern Europe ernannt. Julien Guénot wurde zusätzlich zu seiner Funktion als Country Manager France zum Regional Manager Southern Europe ernannt. Dafür haben Bruno Laval, Chief Distribution Officer, APAC & Europe und Regional Manager, European Growth Markets, das Unternehmen verlassen, um sich neuen Aufgaben außerhalb der AXA-Gruppe zu widmen. AGCS mit neuer Arbeitswelt Für die Mitarbeiter der Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty ändert sich der Standort und die Arbeitswelt. Denn der Industrieversicherer der Allianz-Gruppe hat einen neuen Standort in Unterföhring. Künftig sollen die Angestellten bis zur Hälfte ihrer Arbeitszeit zuhause arbeiten dürfen. Der globale Zielwert liege bei 60 Prozent im Büro und 40 Prozent zu Hause.

141 Report: What Does an AGC Do? Dave Lehive is on another Zoom trip to Chicago to ask: What does an AGC do? Dave talks with four union brothers elected Assistant General Chairs of District 141. They are part of the District 141 Executive Board, where there are 20 other AGCs like them, representing almost 40,000 members working in the United States and US territories. Joe Bartz, Mike Cyscon, Mike Quartuccio, and Erik Stenberg share their background and experience in the airline business and the IAMAW. This is a very experienced group, with the junior man having 32 years of service. They all began representing members as Shop Stewards in their respective work areas. Mike Quartuccio reminds Stewards that their status as a fellow employee gives them the best perspective when they face problems. At the same time, he advises them not to be intimidated by company managers, and keep in mind that when they are representing a member, they engage with supervisors and managers as equals. Mike Cyscon prioritizes the return to work of every member who is on furlough, especially at JFK, one of his assigned cities. He also works to build the grievance committees at all locations, so they can use every resource and work collectively to resolve issues. Erik Stenberg performs dual roles as District 141 Safety Chairman and AGC He was elected AGC in 2008, and also represents District 141 at the National Safety Council Labor Advisory Board. His priority is to promote safety in a dangerous environment and to listen to members so he can take advantage of every organizing opportunity. “We are all organizers,” said Erik. He is especially proud of the organizing work his team did during the UA-CO merger, which brought a previously non-union group of instructors into the IAM. For Joe Bartz, who was the first Storekeeper elected President of Local 1487, note-taking is paramount, and he encouraged transparency above all. “Don't be afraid to tell a member, ‘I don't know, I'll get back to you,'” he said. But “equally important,” is to follow up. So what does an AGC do? “Administer the contract, handle grievances and make sure they are handled properly start to finish,” said Joe Bartz. “And, negotiations,” he added. When you represent 40,000 members in the United States and US territories, there are also station visits, engaging with members, and continuing education. In an industry constantly in flux with a changing world, the role of District 141 AGCs is to lead with a steady hand to promote and defend the rights, lives, and livelihoods of all union members.

141 Report: Daryl Current, Taking Care of Business and People After laboring through four airline mergers and doing his fair share of moving around to keep his airline job over 37 years, Daryl Current has a deep appreciation for what a good union contract can do for workers. 141 Report host Dave Lehive catches up with his former coworker Daryl Current, the Grievance Committee Chair at Victory Local Lodge 1725 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dave and Daryl reminisce about their days working together in Newark, New Jersey before Daryl settled in Charlotte in 2006. He was a Shop Steward when District 141 AGCs encouraged him to run for a position in the Grievance Committee in 2015. He has served as Committee Chair since 2017. As a leader in one of the largest locals in District 141, Daryl Current wants to make sure the 1,8000 members of Victory Lodge 1725 have easy access to their union representatives. For this reason, he and fellow Committee Reps John Wilkinson, Mike Noble, and Lou Gilmore keep staggered hours in their office at the airport. “Our door is always open,” says Daryl, stating how there is a Committee Rep available to members, in person, for 15 hours a day, on average. Daryl makes sure union stewards receive training and support to help them perform at their best, often taking on training responsibilities “in-house.” He also finds the skills he learned in EAP training helpful to recognize cases when members need help beyond the bounds of the union contract. Communication at every level is a key element of effective representation, and Daryl works to maintain open channels with district representatives and committee reps in many cities. He mentions the close relationship CLT reps have with their counterparts in Phoenix, which was profiled in a 141 Report when they hosted them at the airport to exchange ideas and best practices on the field. Maintaining these relationships helps union representatives know well the issues that are important to every member, and are the best way to build solidarity and power.

141 Report: Happy Homecoming at JFK Few guests of the 141 Report have been as happy as Local 1322 Committee Chair Ivan Miranda. He talks with Dave about the return of IAM members at United to John F. Kennedy Airport after a five-year absence. A 24-year veteran of Continental Cargo and United Airlines, Ivan describes “the joy to be home” that 50 IAM members feel since their return to their jobs at JFK Airport in Queens, New York. In the fall of 2015, they were forced to transfer to other area airports when United consolidated flights and closed JFK, a decision the airline now calls “a mistake.” There was no mistake in the contract language that protected the recall rights of every IAM member who wished to return to JFK. Ivan says that in the last 2 months, the homecomings keep everyone “happy to come to work.” Last week, they welcomed one of their own, former JFK Ramp Services Lead Agent Mike Klemm, who now serves as District 141 President and Directing General Chair. Ivan credited Klemm, “the big man behind the scenes,” and District 141 negotiators who ensured that JFK retained recall rights in the New York/New Jersey “point” in every contract with United. These contractual protections made possible a smooth transition for workers when faced with the ever-changing nature of the airline business, and their return to the jobs they held close to home as circumstances changed. District 141 Assistant General Chair Mike Cyscon accompanied Klemm on the station visit. Cyscon has been working with Ivan and 4 newly appointed Shop Stewards at JFK to make sure they have the resources and support they need. One of the most experienced AGCs in District 141, Ivan described Cyscon as “a good mentor” who “always has my back.” United is currently operating 8 daily flights from 2 gates in Terminal 7, but Ivan expects those numbers to increase. He is looking forward to welcoming more transfers and returning Machinists Union members to join him at JFK in the big comeback for the airline and the entire New York region post COVID. This we know is a trend commonly used by many retailers to have strong backlinks and to strengthen their website domain authority, essentially building credibility in the eyes of Google. 141 Report: Local 1487, Honoring the Past, Embracing the Future This week's 141 Report features the largest local in District 141. Based at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago, IL, Local 1487 is an amalgamated air transport local representing over 7,000 members from United, American, Southwest, British Airways, and Alaska Airlines, and also airline support workers from UGE, Menzies Aviation, and Swissport. Local 1487 President Tony Licciardi speaks with Dave about how happy he was to join the IAM when he began working at United in 1997, and within a year he became an active union member serving as Shop Steward. Over the next 23 years, Tony has served as Conductor Sentinel, Trustee, and Vice President before being elected President of the local lodge. Brother Tony is also the newest member of the District 141 Executive Board after he was recently appointed to a Trustee position. Located 3 miles from O'Hare, Local 1487 was chartered in 1945, and the historical significance of his local makes Tony especially proud. The local has one of the largest and most active retiree clubs in District 141 that organize social and community service activities and whose wealth of knowledge and expertise make the group a valuable asset for today's members. During Tony's tenure, he has worked to stabilize the finances of the local, modernize the local lodge building, and has developed and promoted committees. Besides the Retiree Club, Local 1487 now has active Women's and Community Service Committees. Several members of the local serve in positions in District 141, including AGCs, Safety Reps, and Legislative Director Dave Roderick, who was for many years the local's Secretary-Treasurer. Local meetings are traditionally held twice a month, and Tony is looking forward to a near future when all in-person meetings can resume. He is doing his part and setting an example by getting his COVID vaccine at O'Hare this week, and urges all members to do the same to ensure everyone's health and safety, now and in the future. Cyber incidents ranks as the top peril for companies globally in the Allianz Risk Barometer for the first time after receiving 39% of responses. Seven years ago, it ranked 15th with only 6% of responses. Awareness of the cyber threat has grown rapidly in recent years, driven by companies’ increasing reliance on their data and IT systems and a number of high-profile incidents. Disclosure is coming for the UFO world, or so we hope.
