Episode 291 of “The Sports Experience Podcast” is here & we're continuing our block on some of the NFL's best postseason games of all time.In this episode we're discussing the 1958 NFL Championship between the New York Giants and the Baltimore Colts. How did professional football become America's most popular sport? It's this game.Played on a cold day at Yankee Stadium, the Baltimore Colts took on the New York Giants for the NFL title for the 1958 season.Though it was marred by turnovers and mistakes, this tight game featured so much excitement and was littered with Hall of Fame coaches and players. The Colts raced to a 14-3 lead at halftime thanks to quarterback Johnny Unitas, running back/flanker Lenny Moore and wide receiver Raymond Berry.New York stopped the bleeding in the second half with a goal line stand, and ended up taking a 17-14 lead after a Frank Gifford touchdown reception from Charlie Conerly.Unitas then took over with a Two Minute Drill and led to Colts into New York territory before time expired in the fourth quarter. A Steve Myrah field goal tied the game at 17 apiece which set up the first sudden death overtime scenario in an NFL Championship Game. After stopping the Giants on their first overtime possession, Unitas and Berry went to work and Baltimore ended the game with a one yard touchdown run from Alan Ameche to win 23-17.Due to the game being so exciting and being broadcast to the country on NBC, the American public was enthralled by professional football. Over the course of the next ten years, the league expanded, the AFL was formed and professional football became the most popular sport in the United States of America.Connect with us on Instagram!Chris Quinn: @cquinncomedyDominic DiTolla: @ditolladominicProducer: @ty_englestudioInstagram: @thesportsexperiencepodcastIf you enjoy this podcast, please help support us @:https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/the-sports-experience-pod/support#sportspodcast#comedypodcast #baltimorecolts#newyorkgiants#nfl

Frank Gifford was one of the great football broadcasters. A staple on Monday Night Football with Howard Cosell and Don Meredith, it's fair to say that most people remember Gifford for calling a game. But how many remember him for what he did on the field, or even know that he was one of the best to ever play? As a halfback and flanker, Gifford combined to score 77 touchdowns during his Hall of Fame career with the New York Giants. An all-around star, he also kicked (on occasion), played in the defensive backfield where he also scored a touchdown, and he holds the NFL record for most touchdown passes in a career by a non-quarterback with 14. Yes, Gifford could burn you in so many ways. His career at the University of Southern California was also spectacular. In fact, two years prior to his enshrinement into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Gifford was enshrined into the College Football Hall of Fame. His No. 16 is retired by the Giants as well. On this episode of SFH, Chris Willis, Head Researcher at NFL Films, returns to the show for a wonderful discussion about on eof the game's all-time greats - Frank Gifford.

Hour 1 Today is the day Rex Ryan gets his interview with the Jets. Rex and Brian Flores are the only decent candidates for the Jets. Gio would prefer the ‘next Rex' over the old Rex. Gio said no other team would even ‘sniff' Rex Ryan. Why isn't Jon Gruden on anybody's list? Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with John Mara saying, ‘we stunk this year'. Joe Schoen was asked if he talked to Shedeur Sanders. Jeff Ulbrich gushed about the Jets players and the locker room. Rex Ryan was on ESPN radio and said he's getting the Jets job because, ‘I'm the best guy and it isn't close'. Robert Kraft took responsibility for Jerod Mayo's lack of success. Jerry Jones was an actor on a TV show called ‘Landman' and Jerry has some clips. He sounded really genuine. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer said Sam Darnold had a hard time handling the blitzes against the Lions. He probably lost some confidence and looked flustered, so the Rams will probably try to do the same thing. Hour 2 Boomer was busy texting us all a bunch of Instagram reels. Jerry returns for an update, but first, Eddie sent us a pic of him in Wyoming where he is observing the wolves. Mara does not seem confident even though he's keeping those guys. Jeff Ulbrich seems impressed by the Jets young talent. Deshaun Watson had a setback and Boomer doesn't think we'll ever see him in a Browns uniform again. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about how congestion pricing is going so far after two days. Hour 4 Rob Saleh should have been a huge success with the Jets. But we had an offensive coordinator who never did it before and a rookie quarterback with Zach Wilson. We put out a poll as to who you want as Jets head coach if you only had these options: Rex, Brian Flores, Aaron Glenn or Jon Gruden. Today on the Rarified Heir Podcast, we are talking to Colin Cosell, grandson of legendary broadcaster and American cultural icon, Howard Cosell. Now, if you are born in the United States, you will definitely know Howard Cosell. But for those outside the US, that name night not be as well known. But in the 1970s and 80s, Cosell was at the Zenith of where celebrity, sports and pop culture mixed. Famous for his “Tell it like it is” manner on air, Howard Cosell was as famous for his calls of the boxing, football, baseball & the Olympics while also being remembered for his voice, his wit and his sometimes prickly manner. He got as much hate mail as he got praise and he was often at the center of controversy for his comments on air as well as his opinions off air. For many of us, Howard Cosell will be remembered as the man who broke the news to America that John Lennon was shot and killed which we watched Monday Night Football. For others he will be remembered for  as the  butt playful jokes from one of his best friends Muhammad Ali. This was a man who famously parlayed his fame as a sportscaster to television, film and the larger pop culture zeitgeist of the latter half of the 20th Century as you will soon hear. Talking to Colin, we get to see another side of Howard, a grandfather who doted on his family and young Colin. We discuss how the family all played board games together, the many dogs they grew up with and how he would see his grandfather every week or two growing up. Howard was a very present grandfather who could also pull some strings and arrange a meeting with a world famous athlete one day and hang with you eating bagels the next. Colin was a jovial guest who told  stories about the other Saturday Night Live Starring Howard Coselland how Cosell impacted the late night comedy juggernaut SNL we know today. We talk Monday Night Football with Frank Gifford and ‘Dandy' Don Meredith as well as the time  Jon Bon Jovi came over to talk. This is the Rarified Heir Podcast and everyone has a story.

Kathie Lee Gifford on Her Unshakable Faith and the Historical Narrative That She Calls the Greatest Story Never Told

Today on the show we have a living legend—Kathie Lee Gifford is here to talk about her faith and, listeners, you know I love to talk to guests about their faith. Kathie Lee has written a really compelling new book that juxtaposes the story of evil personified in King Herod with the living hope of Jesus told through the story of his mother, Mary. Kathie Lee writes in her new book Herod and Mary: The True Story of the Tyrant King and the Mother of the Risen Savior, which is out July 16, that she has been completely fascinated by the historical figure of Herod the Great since she went on a trip to the Holy Land back in 2012. Herod was Christianity's first true persecutor, and was a tyrannical ruler; Kathie Lee writes that Herod's story is the greatest story never told. This book is a historical narrative that reads like a modern-day thriller and is really not your typical nonfiction book—it reads like a novel, but it's all true. In addition to the juxtaposition between Herod and Mary, there's another juxtaposition in the book, which is the contrast between a king like Herod, with all his privileges, and then someone like Jesus, the King of the world, who was born in an animal pen. At the end of the book, Kathie Lee includes codas of really interesting conversations between her and her collaborator, Dr. Bryan Litfin, basically unpacking the book and talking readers through it. In those codas, she really vulnerably and bravely reveals some very personal details about her own life that helped me get to know her better and respect her even more. There's no way you don't know who Kathie Lee Gifford is, but just in case you don't, she co-hosted Live! With Regis and Kathie Lee alongside Regis Philbin from 1985 to 2000, and also had an 11-year run with Hoda Kotb on the fourth hour of Today from 2008 to 2019. Kathie Lee has received 11 Daytime Emmy nominations and won her first Daytime Emmy in 2010 with Today. She has also served as an NBC News correspondent and got her start on Name That Tune back in 1978. She married sportscaster and former NFL player Frank Gifford in 1986, and he passed away in 2015; they share two children. In addition to her broadcasting career, Kathie Lee has released multiple albums and multiple books, including books about her faith, cooking, children's books, and biographical books, like 2018's The Rock, the Road, and the Rabbi and 2020's It's Never Too Late: Make the Next Act of Your Life the Best Act of Your Life. I tell Kathie Lee this on the show today, but I feel that all of that work was meant to get her right here, to the place where she has a platform and can share about her faith and invite others to join her in it. Take a listen to this powerful conversation.   Herod and Mary: The True Story of the Tyrant King and the Mother of the Risen Savior by Kathie Lee Gifford and Dr. Bryan Litfin

- Bob Feller- Alex Webster- Ray Berry- George Shaw- Jim McAnany- Horace Stoneham- Willie Mays- Carl Hubbell- Casey Stengel- Pat Flaherty- Abe Saperstein- Wilt Chamberlain-In 1958, a cold December afternoon witnessed a historic football game at Yankee Stadium. Two professional football teams battled for the National Football League Championship, and many consider it the greatest game ever played. The Giants took an early 3-0 lead with a field goal by Pat Summerall, but the Colts fought back, taking a 14-3 halftime advantage. Tensions were high as the third quarter began. The Giants found themselves with their backs against the wall when the Colts were on their one-yard line. However, the Giants' defense held strong, and after a 95-yard drive, they clawed their way back into the game. Fullback Mel Triplett and Kyle Rote contributed to their resurgence. In the final quarter, Charlie Conerly connected with Frank Gifford for a touchdown, putting the Giants ahead 17-14.Baltimore attempted to tie the game with a field goal but missed. With only 2 minutes and 25 seconds left, the Giants punted the ball to the Colts. Baltimore was 84 yards away from victory, and Johnny Unitas orchestrated a remarkable drive. In the final seconds, the Colts attempted a field goal, which proved successful, resulting in a 17-17 tie. This tie forced the first sudden-death playoff in league history. The Giants won the toss but couldn't capitalize on their possession. The Colts took over, marched 80 yards in 12 plays, and sealed the victory with a touchdown, becoming the 1958 NFL champions.

On this episode I take you down memory lane with some of the best NFL broadcast teams in history. I used to love Curt Gowdy and Al DeRogatis on NBC. You knew when you saw them it was a big game, and they were so entertaining and Gowdy may have had the best broadcast voice all time. Speaking of voices, it was hard to top Jack Buck. He and Hank Stram were a treasure when they teamed up on CBS Radio calling NFL games. I feel bad for the younger generation that they never had a chance to watch Monday Night Football with Frank Gifford, Don Merideth and Howard Cosell. I play the infamous broadcast from 1980 when John Lennon was shot and killed. Then there is arguably the best tandem ever to be in the booth. Pat Summerall and John Madden! What happens when two veteran QB's get traded to different teams in a marquee match-up in the debut season of Thursday Night Football on Prime Video? You get this epic crapfest.   Then, there have been many legendary characters behind the mic in the 50+ year history of Monday Night Football, from Howard Cosell to Frank Gifford to Joe Buck and Troy Aikman nowadays.  For a brief period, the announcing crew consisted of the highly capable and competent Joe Tessitore and two people wet behnd the ears--the fish-out-of-water Jason Witten, and the human obstruction known as Booger McFarland.   Finally, Greg and Mike talk about an obscure show which ran very briefly in the early 1980s, hosted by a pair of brothers whose biggest claim to fame was being the shortest pair of twins in the world.  The pair made some appearances on movies and TV, including a segment on Real People, which was apparently enough to give them this (awful) hosting gig.   Follow us at all our socials via our Linktree page at linktr.ee/itwasathingontv    Timestamps 0:00 - Computer Voice Lady Cold Open 1:18 - The Colts/Broncos Thursday Night Football Game from 2022 43:51 - The Joey Gallo Update (from 9/7) 47:45 - Booger McFarland and Jason Witten on Monday Night Football 1:38:21 - That (Awful) Quiz Show

The delivery ceremony took place this morning at Fincantieri's VARD shipyard in Søviknes, Norway, where Viking's first expedition ship, the Viking Octantis, was delivered in December 2021. The Viking Polaris immediately set sail toward Amsterdam, where she will be named on September 30 by her ceremonial godmother, Ann Bancroft, one of the world's preeminent polar explorers. Currently sailing in the Great Lakes, the Viking Octantis will also be named on September 30 by her ceremonial godmother, Liv Arnesen, the world-renowned Norwegian explorer, lecturer, author and educator. From Amsterdam, the Viking Polaris will make her way to South America, and both ships will spend the Austral summer in Antarctica, before travelling north to the Great Lakes for a series of voyages during spring and summer.Viking Expedition ShipsThe new Polar Class Viking Octantis and Viking Polaris host 378 guests in 189 staterooms. The vessels are purpose-built for expeditions, at an ideal size for safety and comfort in remote destinations. With more indoor and outdoor viewing areas than other expedition vessels, guests are as close as possible to the most magnificent scenery on earth. Highlights include:The Aula: A stunning panoramic auditorium inspired by the University of Oslo's famed ceremonial hall, the former venue for the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony. Used for lectures, daily briefings, documentaries and films, this spectacular venue features a 4k laser-projected screen that retracts to expose floor-to-ceiling windows and 270° views.Finse Terrace: An outdoor lounge area just above sea level with recessed seating and lava rock “firepits,” the Finse Terrace was designed to allow guests the comforts of the ship al fresco while enjoying the dramatic scenery. Named after the Finse Plateau in Norway, where some of the greatest polar explorers, including Nansen and Amundsen, did their expedition training in preparation for their North and South Pole expeditions. The Hangar: A state-of-the-art, industry-first in-ship marina providing ease of embarkation and disembarkation of Special Operations Boats and other equipment while sheltered from the elements. The Bow: An important forward-viewing platform. And in the case of inclement weather, The Shelter is a comfortable, partially enclosed space for guests to warm up with a hot drink before going back out into the elements. The Science Lab: Developed in partnership with the University of Cambridge and Akvaplan-Niva, The Science Lab, at 380 sq. ft., is designed to support a broad range of research activities and is equipped with wet and dry laboratory facilities. Guests have supervised access to The Science Lab to learn from and participate in undertaking meaningful research with scientists.Expedition Central: The hub for the expedition team to consult with guests on their expedition activities and share knowledge about the destinations on a one-on-one basis, with the aid of 3D printed maps, digital screens, and a state-of-the-art spatial data visualization chart table.Dining Choices: The Restaurant offers fine dining featuring regional cuisine and always-available classics; the casual World Café offers an open kitchen, bakery, grill and premium seafood and sushi choices, as well as a wide range of international flavors; Mamsen's, named for the Hagen family matriarch, serves Scandinavian-inspired fare; and Manfredi's offers the best of Italian cuisine. The Nordic Spa: Following a day of exploration, The Nordic Spa offers guests opportunities to experience the ultimate healthy Nordic traditions, with an indoor heated pool set against expansive windows and a badestamp (wood-sided hot tub) that is open to the outside.Explorers' Lounge: Located high on the ship with floor-to-ceiling windows, the Explorers' Lounge provides guests an ideal space to take in the magnificent scenery, share discoveries with fellow travellers or to enjoy a drink. The Living Room: On the Viking Octantis and the Viking Polaris, The Living Room is located to maximize views of the surroundings through floor-to-ceiling windows and a library that informs even the best-read explorers. The Library is curated by acclaimed London bookshop Heywood Hill, as on all Viking vessels, as well as Cambridge University's Scott Polar Research Institute.Nordic Balcony: A first for polar expedition vessels, all staterooms on board Viking's expedition ships feature a Nordic Balcony, a sunroom that converts into an al fresco viewing platform with an observation shelf at elbow level to stabilize binoculars or a camera. Guests can choose from six stateroom categories that range from 222 sq. ft. to 1,223 sq. ft.—all with a Nordic Balcony, as well as a king-size bed and large bathroom with spacious glass-enclosed shower, heated bathroom floor and anti-fog mirror. Every stateroom is also equipped with a unique floor-to-ceiling drying closet that circulates warm air to dry and store clothing and expedition gear.A-ROSA River Cruises gets smart with new smartphone appA-ROSA River Cruises has launched the ‘A-ROSA APP', a new smartphone app which has been designed to provide guests with one, easy to use place to find a wealth of information on their cruise, both prior to departure and once on board. Currently the app is available for all guests sailing on A-ROSA SENA, ahead of a fleet wide roll out for the 2023 season. The new app will hold all the relevant information from the ship's onboard programme such as restaurant and bar opening times, details of the evening buffet menu which is updated daily and times that the spa and sauna is open. Guests can book excursions in the ‘My Trip' section, view the cruise itinerary and find other facts about the ship and life on board. An integrated bar menu is also a feature of the new app, enabling drinks to be ordered digitally. All tables in the SENA BAR, CAPTAIN'S VIEW and THE A-ROSA MARKET have QR codes that guests can scan using their own smartphone. This will then open up the extensive bar menu in the app, from which drinks can be ordered and brought directly to guests table. The app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play and is available for both iOS and Android users. This important development also plays a key role in the river cruise line's ongoing sustainability journey.and moreJoin the show:If you have a cruise tip, burning question or want to record a cruise review get in touch with us via the website https://thebigcruisepodcast.com/join-the-show/ Guests: Chris Frame: https://bit.ly/3a4aBCg   Chris's Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/c/ChrisFrameOfficialPeter Kollar: https://www.cruising.org.au/Home Listen & Subscribe: Amazon Podcasts: https://amzn.to/3w40cDcApple Podcasts: https://apple.co/2XvD7tF Audible: https://adbl.co/3nDvuNgCastbox: https://bit.ly/2xkGBEI Google Podcasts: https://bit.ly/2RuY04u I heart Radio:  https://ihr.fm/3mVIEUASpotify: https://spoti.fi/3caCwl8 Stitcher: https://bit.ly/2JWE8Tz Pocket casts: https://bit.ly/2JY4J2M Tune in: https://bit.ly/2V0Jrrs Podcast Addict: https://bit.ly/2BF6LnEImage Credit: Carnival Splendor, Sydney. While Richard Nixon served as President at the height of the Cold War. He was also President when terrorism exploded on to the World stage as a tool of the extreme Islamic World.  In this special edition we look back at one of the most horrifying events of the early 1970's, by tuning into the voices of the people who covered it for ABC Sports. It features interviews with a Hall of Fame Quarterback turned sports commentator, Frank Gifford, and his counterpart T.V. Host Jim Mckay, a man best known for hosting a Saturday afternoon show which covered obscure sporting events like the National Lumberjack Championship in Hayward, Wisconsin or the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.  But with little to no notice, ABC Sports President Roone Arledge, moved Jim Mckay in from his role at ABC's Wide World of Sports duties to cover a hostage situation at the Olympic Games in Munich, Germany.  McKay would bring the humanity of the moment to the small screen as he covered the tragic circumstances of an Israeli Olympic team being held hostage by a Palestinian terrorist group known as Black September. It would be a tragic and grim moment for all involved and it would be the precursor for the challenges the free world still faces today, long after the fall of communism,  by religious fanaticism hell bent on staying in the late 11th century.   ***** Ranked number 17 as one of the 60 best American History podcasts of 2022 by Feedspot.comhttps://blog.feedspot.com/american_history_podcasts/

This week, Emily Adrian (The Second Season) joins us to discuss a book she'd never read, Frederick Exley's 1968 "fictional memoir" A Fan's Notes. The book mirrors Exley's own experiences with mental health facilities, as well as his lifelong obsession with the New York Giants' star Frank Gifford. We consider how the book has held up over time, and whether we can--or should--get past its pretty rampant misogyny. We also talk about Emily's new novel, about a trailblazing female sportscaster, and why certain men can't seem to believe she understands basketball. Even more amazingly, there was even another future NFL coaching legend who attended Levy's practices at Cal. Hear Coach Levy share his memories of those days in this football history podcast. Many fans will also be surprised to learn that his four Super Bowls with the Bills weren't Levy's first visits to the big game. He worked as an assistant to George Allen on the 1972 Washington Redskins in Super Bowl 7. Coach Levy shares his memory of that game and working for Allen with the Los Angeles Rams in this episode The Game Before the Money Podcast. My name is Ben Biddick, the Host of the Get Up Nation Podcast and Co-Author of Get Up: The Art of Perseverance with former Major League Baseball player and CEO of Lurong Living, Adam Greenberg. Recently I had the honor and privilege of speaking with Gwen Lawrence. You may have seen her on the Better Man Television Show, which she co-hosts with Brian Jones, read her book Body Sculpting with Yoga, or heard how she serves professional sports teams and countless others with her program called Power Yoga for Sports. Her unique ability to read bodies helps her analyze any imbalances and asymmetry that can lead to injury. She’s helped elite athletes like Alex Rodriguez and Plaxico Burress prevent injury and enhance their performance. Her clients include the New York Knicks, the New York Yankees, the New York Rangers, the New York Giants, David Letterman, Regis Philbin, Coach Larry Brown, UN Secretary General Kofi Anon, Kathie Lee and Frank Gifford, Kate Hudson, the New York Redbulls—the list goes on and on. You can access a detailed list, training opportunities, testimonials, tips, T-shirts, at her website Gwen Lawrence.com. You will also find some blog posts that give a window into how Gwen has achieved such success. In March of 2018, Gwen described on her blog how she does not believe in regret. A survivor of unspeakable childhood sexual abuse, Gwen wrote “I believe I have a purpose to fulfill” and embraces her journey that “has ups and downs of learning, creating, discovering, disappointment, and great highs.” She also describes how people “can’t appreciate or even conceive of a high or an accomplishment unless they have felt the lows.” She describes how the adversity in her life has made her “tough as nails” and “aware of her surroundings.” She’s developed “peak, finely tuned intuition,” and a ferocious sense of protection for her family and those she cares about. My interview today is with Melissa Ludtke, a journalist who has reported for Sports Illustrated, been a correspondent for Time, worked at the Nieman Foundation for Journalism, and is also the creator of a transmedia project called Touching Home in China. But in today's interview we're talking about life in her twenties, and Melissa's was marked by the famous 1978 court case Ludtke v. Kuhn in which she, a young journalist backed by her employers, Sports Illustrated and Time Inc., sued the Major League Baseball Commissioner for the right to report from players' locker rooms. Melissa is at work writing a memoir about this experience, and I can't. Wait. To. Read. It. Melissa didn't fall into sports reporting so easily. She had graduated and wasn't quite sure what she wanted to do next when she had a chance encounter with football player and commentator Frank Gifford, who told her she knew a lot about sports—for a girl. Melissa decided that sports journalism was going to be it, and Gifford invited her to New York City to tour ABC Sports. Despite having a foot in the door, Melissa didn't get a job at ABC Sports right away because—twist!—the women's movement had started, and companies were coming under fire for putting women who had college degrees in administrative work. First she had to pay her dues as a secretary for Harper's Bazaar (which, I guess, didn't care about that). But when Melissa wasn't working, she'd shadow at ABC, absorbing as much as she could. Melissa ended up at Sports Illustrated as a researcher/reporter, and using her press pass, spent night after night at the ballpark. There was just one problem: Because she was a woman, Melissa wasn't allowed to go into the players' locker room for interviews before the game started (this was after batting practice—no one was naked!). If one of her male cohorts couldn't persuade a player to step outside and do an interview with Melissa, she didn't get any work done that day. But Melissa didn't make waves—it wasn't her style—and she didn't stop showing up. And then, a breakthrough that signaled her go-slow approach was working: Mickey Morabito, the Yankees' PR director, asked her if she'd like to join the men reporters in Yankees manager Billy Martin's office after games to do interviews. And for the 1977 World Series, both teams—the Yankees and Dodgers—agreed to allow Melissa access to their locker rooms to report. Unfortunately, that wouldn't come to pass. The baseball commissioner banned Melissa from the locker rooms during the World Series because she was a woman. And so, Melissa became the face of a lawsuit against Major League Baseball for equal rights. This episode was produced by Erin McKinstry. Our music, from Blue Dot Sessions, is called The Zeppelin. This interview was recorded with the help of Google Hangouts. Logo by Theresa Berens of Boss Dotty.

Welcome the newest episode of Dark Discussions, your place for the discussion of horror film, fiction, and all that’s fantastic. Blumhouse Productions, a film company formed out of the success of the first Paranormal Activity film, is one of the most prolific production companies of horror films, both cinema and VOD. With contracts with major production companies, including Universal, Blumhouse is able to get many of their films into cinema complexes. And those that don't make the grade, land up on VOD and still get a large audience. Many of the films have become classics and well received such as the aforementioned Paranormal Activity, The Purge, Insidious, and Sinister. Others not so much. Their latest release is The Gallows. Twenty years ago during a school production of the play The Gallows, an accident occurred that lead to the death of one of the students. Now, the head of the drama club, Pfeifer, along with her drama teacher, have decided to put on the notorious play this school year. When her co-lead, Reese, recognizes his inexperience he is talked into sabotaging the set by his friend Ryan so to postpone the production. Cassidy, Ryan's girlfriend, comes along but soon their plan goes amiss and Reese's acting may be the least of their worries. Made with a budget of only $100,000 USD, the film on its opening weekend grossed almost ten million USD. Cassidy Gifford, the daughter of football player Frank Gifford and TV talk show host Kathie Lee Gifford, leads the personalities of what is otherwise an unknown cast. Dark Discussions comes together to give their thoughts on the movie and genre cinema as a whole.
