#2050 #2050futurepodcast #2050futurecast #marcusnettelbeck #FOG fireworks + sfx GmbH #EventPyrotechnik #ZukunftDesFeuerwerks #SicherheitBeiFeuerwerken #DigitaleFeuerwerke #Veranstaltungsunterhaltung #KIundFeuerwerk

Are you nauseated by this election campaign? Does the corporate media's banal coverage of it, replete with ridiculous 'gotcha' moments, and sports-like commentary on who is winning and losing, make you feel physically ill? Rest assured, you are not alone. In fact, it may well be you're in the majority. Indymedia's Alex Whisson had the opportunity to chat with someone who feels the same way. Dr Tad Tietze is an author, commentator and political analyst.

Another step towards healthier school lunches. The Government is seeking feedback on a plan to get unhealthy drinks out of primary and intermediate schools. If implemented, schools and Kura will only be required to only supply healthy drinks to years one to eight students the likes of water and milk.CEO of Libelle Group Johannes Tietze told Andrew Dickens good inroads have been already been made since the healthy school lunches programme was introduced two years ago.“Part of that agreement was to not include drinks in that because the understanding was that there's existing programmes and quite a strong movement by schools across the country to go water only.”LISTEN ABOVE

iHunch is Very Common! Do Your Have It? An Interview With Steve August Bob interviews Steve August Physiotherapist from New Zealand about iHunch. Steve is the creator of the Backpod. The Backpod is a practical New Zealand innovation developed to address a problem which was either ignored or misunderstood for far too long. It has been developed by New Zealander Steve August, a physiotherapist for over 30 years', with extensive experience in treating back and neck pain issues. The tool has had an extremely positive reception in the professional community and from customers who have genuinely found a solution to a painful and debilitating physical issue. It is especially effective for the very common hunched back and/or tightened upper back that drives most neck pain and headache. Statistically, most people will experience this problem at some point; one in six people will be in acute pain right now; and everyone knows someone who is stooped and sore - usually hunching over a laptop, tablet or smartphone has an element of cause. Important info for you

There is no turning back now! We are in the digital age and electronic health records (EHRs) are here to stay! What is important now is looking at the results or outcomes of the rapid implementation of the EHRs. The lens we use to examine the outcomes can have serious implications for future strategies. In this episode we talk with Dr. Susan McBride and Dr. Mary Tietze, two nurse informatics scholars from Texas who share our passion for health information technology and interprofessional practice. The focus of our conversation today is the landmark, statewide study they conducted assessing the experience of nurses with the electronic health record in Texas. This is powerful work resulted from the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) ACT and a key question, “What is going to happen to nursing?” What they learned has informed strategies to improve nurse satisfaction and is influencing policy recommendations nationally. It also revealed the existence of the technology and practice platform polarity. Join us as we learn about the results from this landmark study and discuss the significance of using a polarity lens.

Derick Varn continues his conversation withTad Tietze about anti-politics. Tietze blogs at Left Flank, tweets as @Dr_Tad, and has a book coming out from Verso books. From an essay by Tietze and Elizabeth Humphrys: Anti-politics and the Illusions of Neoliberalism We live in anti-political times. After a twentieth century in which Western societies experienced the rise and entrenchment of mass representative institutions, where hundreds of millions of people accepted that politics was the main way to have their social interests advanced, these arrangements have ever more obviously fallen into disrepair, decay and even frank breakdown. Part Two of this conversation is available, in full, for our supporters on patreon
