Welcome back, to Dark Realms, Standing just steps from the White House, the Octagon House is one of Washington DC's most historic—and allegedly most haunted—landmarks. Built at the dawn of the United States and once used as a temporary presidential residence after the White House burned in 1814, this six-sided mansion has long been shadowed by darker legends. In this episode, we explore chilling accounts of phantom screams where two daughters reportedly fell to their deaths, the ghost of a murdered card player who eternally seeks help, and the most disturbing tale of all—a murdered enslaved girl said to cry from within the walls themselves. This episode asks whether the Octagon's hauntings are supernatural echoes… or the lingering weight of tragedies history never fully acknowledged.Stay safe,Kevin. We're giving a full weeks trial of our Patreon away! Church tech and worship leaders are navigating a new tension:faithfulness vs visibility. In this episode, we talk honestly about influencer culture in church tech, why social media feels louder than ever, and how easy it is to confuse platform with impact. We explore what actually builds healthy teams, how insecurity shows up in subtle ways, and why serving well in the local church still matters more than being seen. This isn't an anti-social-media conversation — it's a clarifying one.Check out our free Volunteer Development Toolkit: https://getmxu.com/resources/volunteer-development-toolkit?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=influencerFREE RESOURCES
What happens when a sixth-generation shaman, psychic medium, and spiritual activator sits down with us live at Spirit Fest? Energy surges so strongly it literally knocks the livestream offline. In this electrifying conversation, we meet Jax Cassie, the first female shaman in her powerful Vietnamese lineage, a role traditionally passed only to men. But Jax didn't choose the path. The path chose her… and it began the moment her father appeared to her one week after he died. From that moment forward, Jax stepped into a destiny rooted in spiritual awakening, intuition development, and deep ancestral alignment.During our conversation, she demonstrates her ability to: ✨ Communicate directly with the spirit realm✨ See and feel energies, ancestors, and spirit guides✨ Astral project into someone's home to diagnose energetic imbalances✨ Track a person's life purpose, alignment, and future opportunities✨ Deliver real-time intuitive readings that activate the listener's own awakening And yes… she gave both of us a shockingly accurate on-the-spot reading...including predictions about collaborations, media expansion, and a major consciousness-driven platform shift. Whether you're a believer, a skeptic, or somewhere in between, this episode pushes you to rethink modern spirituality, the mechanics behind manifestation, and the real-world application of energy healing in everyday life. You'll hear Jax explain:Why true shamans serve as “Oracles of the Village”How she sees spirits through their skin, and how she learned to control her visionThe difference between wishful thinking and aligned manifestationWhy intuition is useless without actionWhat a 12-month energetic forecast really looks likeThe role of ancestors in guiding your soul purposeWhy awakening often accelerates when you meet certain people at exactly the right momentIf you've ever wondered how near-death experiences, life after death, spirit communication, and higher-level healing might actually operate behind the scenes… you won't want to miss this conversation. This is spiritual growth with no fluff. Awakening with no filters. Practical mysticism for the modern world. And according to Jax, if you're listening to this episode, it isn't an accident... it's an activation. What You'll Learn in This EpisodeThe truth about shamanic lineage and why certain abilities are inheritedHow ancestral energy influences your success, relationship choices, and timingWhat a psychic actually sees when a spirit enters the roomWhy many people misunderstand manifestationHow to know if you're in alignment with your soul purposeWhat happens when your energy field begins expanding faster than your life circumstancesWhy meeting the “right person at the right moment” is often a spiritual activationAbout Jax:A sixth-generation Vietnamese shaman, psychic medium, and healer, Jax is known for her ability to see energetic misalignments, communicate with ancestors, and guide people into powerful states of alignment and awakening. She specializes in life purpose, intuitive activation, and multidimensional clearing work. Her presence alone shifts energy, and Spirit Fest audiences feel it instantly.Subscribe, Rate & Review! Australia's Online Safety Amendment (Social Media Minimum Age) Act came into effect this week, barring anyone under 16 from having a social media account. With the growing concerns about how technology and platforms like TikTok and Instagram are harming children, there are calls in America to pass similar laws. Social media reform advocate and founder of Scrolling2Death.com, Nicki Petrossi, says teens under 16 should be prohibited from using social media. Petrossi recently joined The FOX News Rundown's Lisa Brady to discuss the dangers of kids being online and why she thinks tech companies are not doing enough to protect them from online risks. She also explains how many big techs intentionally try to get young people addicted to their apps and products, and why parents need to act. We often must cut interviews short during the week, but we thought you might like to hear the full interview. Today on Fox News Rundown Extra, we will share our entire interview with Scrolling2Death founder, Nicki Petrossi. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

A brutal killing in 1974 shattered the quiet town of Ossett and left investigators confronting one of Britain's most unsettling possession claims. In the hours before the violence, ministers believed they were fighting unseen forces inside a small church, pushing Michael Taylor through a "deliverance" that spiraled far beyond their control. What followed fractured the thin line between faith and reality, sending a frightened community scrambling for answers. In this episode, we unravel the ignored signs, the clergy's fraught involvement, and the aftermath that cast a long shadow over Ossett. Jesus didn't come and die for us, just for us to live in mediocrity of mind. He died so that we could have reconciliation with the Father and genuinely live an abundant life. That doesn't inherently mean abundance of possessions, but rather a life overfilled with joy. Literally, "mega" joy. On this special episode of the GeekWire Podcast, recorded backstage at the GeekWire Gala at the Showbox Sodo, we sit down with five of the inventors, scientists, and entrepreneurs selected as the Seattle region's 2025 Uncommon Thinkers, in partnership with Greater Seattle Partners. Jeff Thornburg spent years building rocket engines for Elon Musk at SpaceX and Paul Allen at Stratolaunch. Now, as CEO of Portal Space Systems, he's moved past chemical rockets to revive a concept NASA studied decades ago but never pursued — a spacecraft powered by focused sunlight. He calls it a "steam engine for space." Read the profile. Anindya Roy grew up in rural India without electricity, came to the U.S. with two suitcases and $2,000, and earned a spot in the lab of a Nobel Prize winner. Now, as co-founder of Lila Biologics, he's using AI to design proteins from scratch (molecules that have never existed in nature) to treat cancer. Read the profile. Jay Graber runs Bluesky, the decentralized social network that's become a leading alternative to X and other centralized platforms. But while most tech CEOs build moats to lock users in, Jay and the Bluesky team are building a protocol designed to let them leave. She sees the network as a "collective organism," and she's creating a tech foundation meant to outlive her own company. Read the profile. Read the profile. Kiana Ehsani came to Seattle from Iran for her PhD and spent four years at the Allen Institute for AI before becoming CEO of Vercept. She and the Vercept team are competing directly with OpenAI, Google and others in AI agents, building efficient agents that handle mundane digital tasks on computers so humans can spend less time on screens. Read the profile. Brian Pinkard spent six months after college flipping rocks and building trails because he wanted to do work that mattered. That instinct led him to Aquagga, where he's proving that the industry standard of filtering and burying "forever chemicals" is obsolete. Instead, he's using technology originally designed to destroy chemical weapons to annihilate PFAS under extreme heat and pressure. Read the profile. Eagle-eyed readers may have noticed we're missing one honoree — Chet Kittleson, co-founder and CEO of Tin Can, the startup making WiFi-enabled landline phones to help kids connect without screens. Chet wasn't able to join us, but we plan to speak with him on a future episode. With GeekWire co-founder Todd Bishop. Edited by Curt Milton.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

1. National Security Concerns We open with alarming claims that 18,000 known or suspected terrorists have entered the U.S. during the Biden administration, allegedly due to lax border security. The source cited is testimony from Joe Kent, Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, during a House Homeland Security Committee hearing. Specific examples include Afghan nationals linked to terrorist organizations who entered under the Operation Allies Welcome program. The conversation emphasizes the risks posed by "got-aways" (migrants who evade border patrol) and criticizes the administration for prioritizing politics over security. 2. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and U.S. Leadership The second segment focuses on President Trump’s executive order aimed at centralizing AI regulation to prevent fragmented state-level rules. Senator Cruz frames AI as the “economic battle of the 21st century”, comparing it to the U.S. winning the internet race in the 1990s. Whoever leads in AI will shape global values—either American principles of liberty or China’s model of surveillance and control. Trump’s remarks highlight the need for a single federal approval system to accelerate AI development and maintain U.S. dominance. 3. Designating the Muslim Brotherhood as a Terrorist Organization Senator Cruz advocates for legislation to designate the Muslim Brotherhood and its affiliates as terrorist organizations. He explains a shift from a top-down approach (targeting the global organization) to a bottom-up strategy (starting with affiliates like Hamas). The discussion notes bipartisan support but criticizes the House for weakening the bill. Cruz stresses that allies such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE have already designated the group as a terrorist organization. Please Hit Subscribe to this podcast Right Now. U.S. authorities, including the Coast Guard, FBI, Homeland Security, and Navy, seized the tanker in a coordinated operation. Video footage of the boarding was released publicly. Official Justification: The seizure was based on violations of U.S. sanctions and links to illicit oil networks supporting sanctioned entities, including Iran. Venezuelan Reaction: The Maduro government condemned the action as “international piracy” and a violation of sovereignty, vowing to raise the issue in international forums. Geopolitical Impact: The incident escalated U.S.-Venezuela tensions, contributed to rising global oil prices, and raised questions about potential military escalation. Media Coverage: CNN and Fox News-while some portray the move as controversial, analysts argue it is consistent with past U.S. actions against Iranian oil tankers.
