So today we are going to take a deep dive into some of those topics that were requested by some of your fellow TRLR listeners. The first topic is red light therapy (RLT) for tendinopathy ​(i.e. pain from overuse in tendons), where I discuss the mechanisms of how RLT​ has the potential to help heal this type of an injury, review the most relevant research and then provide some practical application for what a real treatment would look like with a RLT devce.The second topic is how to apply The Mitochondrial Triad for fertility.​​ I first examine the role that mitochondrial dysfunction plays in facilitating low fertility rates and then scrutinize how/why RLT, methylene blue and C60 may have efficacious, profound potential for improving and optimizing fertility — both from the female and male perspective. In a world where leaky gums leads to leaky gut and amalgam fillings are literal antennas for your phones and other nearby EMF-producing devices, it's not difficult to become justifiably fervent that your entire health begins in your mouth. My view on oral health was completely transfigured when I listened to Dr. Dominik Nischwitz, today's guest on The Red Light Report, on Ben Greenfield's podcast three years ago. Up to that point, I was under the illusion that oral health meant keeping your teeth clean, free of plaque and cavities purely for the sake of having a healthy mouth and that's where it ended. But after reading Dr. Nischwitz's book this past week and then speaking with him personally, I have re-affirmed my belief that virtually any and all health truly begins with optimizing your oral health and oral care regimen. However, you'll learn from Dr. Dome that many of us may need to unfix some of traditional medicine's dental procedures in order to truly move forward with a strong foundation of oral health. Am 03. und 04. Juni hat eine Woche nach dem Health Optimization Summit in London der Biohacker Summit in Helskinki stattgefunden. Anderer Name, ähnliches Motto. Das offizielle Motto war „Extending Healthspan & Reverse Aging“. Healthspan bedeutet, lange gesund und fit zu Leben und nicht „irgendwie zu überleben“. Das ist ein grundlegender Unterschied. Wir möchten in dieser Episode unsere Learnings und Eindrücke teilen, da ich diese Messen als Leitmessen für Gesundheit wahrnehme, die die Richtung der nächsten Jahre angeben: Ausgehend von kleinen Blasen. Ich könnte dir hier viele Tools und Taktiken teilen, wie du dein Leben verlängerst, von Fasten über NAD und Krafttraining bis Stammzellen. Das werde ich an anderer Stelle tun. Am 28. und 29. Mai hat in London endlich wieder der Health Optimization Summit stattgefunden: Eine der weltweit größten Gesundheits-, Fitness- und Biohacking-Messen. Was passiert auf so einer Veranstaltung, was haben wir mitgenommen und was kannst du davon lernen? Darüber spreche ich in dieser Episode mit meinem Freund und Kollegen Max Gotzler. Neben viel Fachwissen und Produkten rund um alle Aspekte von Gesundheit und Fitness, ging es vor allem um das Verbinden mit Gleichgesinnten und alten neuen Freunden. Neben allen Supplements, Gadgets, Tools und Taktiken betonen einige Top Biohacker wie Ben Greenfield ihr „Warum“ im Leben, die Qualität von Beziehungen und Familie, Rituale, Bewusstsein und Spiritualität.
